I never ever post negative reviews but in this case I think it is necessary Stayed multiple days, front desk staff is awesome and the day prior to leaving noticed a rash like appearance on my arms, chest and partially on my back The morning of Friday 7/8/22 I turned in the light look down and notice a tiny bug that I videoed

I quietly approached the lobby staff to let them know and asked for trash bags to seal my clothing up in I was not going to in any way cause a scene as it is not their fault but I did not want them to allow the next guest in there without it being treated Eventually (yesterday) I got a connecting call with George the manager He said the room was checked, no bed bugs and unless I could prove by a pest control company reviewing my video or a Dr verifying bed bug bites there was nothing he could do I am shocked honestly that after the concern and kindness of his staff that he did not at least apologize I actually did share the video with a friend in pest control that said it was definitely a bed bug that had just had a blood meal that’s how they look “elongated” but unless I brought it to him in a bag, he could not put it on paper to show the hotel Use your flashlight, check bedding prior to unpacking especially at this location This picture is a screen shot of a very zoomed in video as it won’t allow me to post a video He also mentioned I may have brought this bug in with me Regardless, it’s a bug in a bed and I was kind enough to not freak out but approach the staff with kindness in quiet

We arrived late, only 1 person at front desk Front desk lady need to step away to assist another customer, so she called for back up to help Waited a bit but not a big issue

Got upgraded to 2 queen suite, with seating area and TV Room is equip with microwave and mini fridge We were given late check out as well, which was sweet! The luggage cart was a bit difficult to use, perhaps the wheel is a bit stuck/ out of balance Staff offer to help but we told them we can handle it ourselves All the staff we encountered was very nice and friendly We ask for direction to the post office, and the staff printed out a map for us!On the website, it says the hotel was built 2020 However, the bathroom seems to be a bit dated Especially the bath tub, it shows a lot of sign of wear and tearWe asked for glassware, but the front desk said they don’t have restaurant on site so no glassware However, hotel information shows that they have a banquet hall, so I am not quite sure why they refuse to give us glasswareThere’s an outdoor patio right next to the pool However, there’s many cockroach around that area Wish the hotel can do better with pest controlBreakfast is free, however, hot food options are very limited and coffee taste a bit weak and very wateryI’d give 5 stars for service, but 3 stars for the hotel itself

Stayed for 6 nights, room was serviced just once and had to request clean towels on our next to last night of this stay This may seem minor, but the hot water container in the breakfast area must have been filled from a coffee maker because the water tasted and smelled like coffee I’m a tea drinker so this was a pain

For our trip the hotel was a good location and the property is well maintainedIt’s interesting to me that I filled out a review on the Marriott site but it wasn’t posted Makes me suspicious of the reliability of reviews on their site BTW, I’m a Marriott Lifetime Titanium member so I have lots of experience at Marriott properties and generally I’m really happy with them

The only thing bothering me about writing a review is 1 Nothing will change and 2 I’ll most likely get a response from the owner about how things are going to change but will offer nothing to accommodate us for our inconvenience

If you want to hear people fighting all night, babies outside crying at 1am, dogs barking, rude housekeeping, limited parking, disgusting rooms that smell to high heaven if smoke, bathrooms with mold, people hanging out smoking on the stairs and countless other things that make you feel uncomfortable … stay here And that’s not just my room or some unusual experience Our family had 3 rooms, we stayed out this way for a wedding Each room was the same I don’t even want a refund I just hope that the people who take the time to read these reviews strongly consider something else Even if it’s a few bucks moreTRASH!

Colleen Maddy

This place was horrible! When you check in you sign a paper that says NO refunds! Well I know why now As you can see there is mold in tub, graffiti on the wall, toilet had to be plunged twice, floor was dirty, bed made the loudest noise when you moved around in it, no light covers in bathroom The room was big, they do have fridge, coffee and microwave in room

But for the price it’s not worth it!

We had a great stay at Ponte Decided late to make our way to Temecula and found a room with ease for 2-nights Our room was clean and had a view of the winery & vineyard next door

The grounds are well kept and beautiful We received credit for the Bouquet Restaurant and it did not disappoint Had brunch both days before hitting the nearby wineries It was also a treat to see all the hot air balloons floating over the inn each morning You could almost touch them on their descend Happy to book another couple nights here next time we’re in town

This is a great hotelPros:All staff were extremely friendly and helpful The continental breakfast was good quality and offered something for everyone

The dining are was kept clean by a friendly staff memberThe room was cleanLocation is perfect It’s right off the freeway across the street from Albertsons and Target with many restaurants close byCons:The rooms are a bit dated If you need new and modern decor, then this place is not for youOverall, if a clean place with attentive staff are more important to you, then this place is worth checking out

Alexander Grandbell

Check in was a BREEZE The front desk clerk was very courteous and professional Now I know you all want to know about the room

it was perfectly clean! Everything was there and free to use to include the shower, microwave and amenities They serve breakfast there as well which not only saved me time but also money before work! I LOVE this place and when I able I will stay there againPs I had forgotten my shirts in the closet and received a call when I was at work (travel for work), reminding me that my shirts were at the front desk waiting for me to pick up! Kudos Comfort Inn, nothing but Kudos!Area:There are plenty of stores and restaurants around the area at you dispense! I literally mean lots!Happy Customer!!!!

Hot tub and gym are nice amenities for a two star hotel Front desk employee wouldn’t let me check in when my wife booked it on my credit card Frustrating

Breakfast the first morning had a broken coffee machine the employee lied was working properly and no eggs The tall breakfast employee could care less about his/her job The guy at the front is really nice The last day the breakfast was fully stocked and I felt like it was a fair deal relatively speaking, besides everything being overpriced in California No way a 2 star hotel in the suburbs should be $130 a night and over $200 on the weekends with a broken coffee machine and no eggs

We were on a road trip and wanted a place for one night We checked in late which was no problem Entering the room it looked definitely not like in the pictures

Hair on the pillows and sheets The blanket we were supposed to sleep in was dirty The remote didn’t work Wifi not available because the signal was too low The lady at the front desk wasn’t helpful at all The next morning I wanted to take a shower Oh No hot water Back to the front desk but the woman there couldn’t help either So we left We didn’t expect much but that was beyond every bad expectation If we had slept in the car it would have been at least clean Never again

Kaci Reisinger

Ok here’s the list1 No phone2

Air conditioner did not work, it would literallyFreeze over with a sheet of ice3The door did not close let alone lock, it could be pushed open with very little effort4 No coffee maker5 I had to give a $10 deposit to get the remote control I never got my deposit back6 The room was dirty, like someone had thrown hands of dirt on to the floor I wore shoe’s the entire stayI gave it one star because of the way the hotel is laid out, it’s quiet and private in the back where I wasNot worth $10000

My fiancé and I came down to the Temecula area to attend a wedding and chose to stay at this hotel for our very short trip The price is very affordable, the rooms and lobby are kept very clean, there is free breakfast in the morning until 10am, and the pool is great! The staff are also extremely nice and I was able to have a few good conversations with a few of them Overall this is a genuinely great hotel for its price and I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an enjoyable stay for a decent price!

Just checked out of a 5 day stay at the Hampton Inn in Murrrieta, CA I usually like the Hampton Inn’s, but this was not a great stay I reserved a Studio Suite which was large, but the bathroom felt like it was in the middle of the room and did not work for me

I had a king bed with a too small sheet that only fit down the side of the mattress about 4 inches and resulted in me waking during each night on the bare mattress – yuk! Bathroom and bar lighting is intensely bright The breakfast offerings were minimal – out of 5 days, only 1 day had bananasHowever, the most irritating part of the stay was the need to negotiate housekeeping every day During the Covid lockdown, housekeeping was not an option but it’s now June 2022 and Covid restrictions are practically non-existent in Murrieta, except at the Hampton InnThe first morning of my stay I went to the reception desk and requested housekeeping I was told “no, this was not my scheduled day,” and that for my 5 day stay, I would get housekeeping on the 4th day (this was over a weekend) I objected and asked for just the bathroom and bar to be refreshed This, the staff agreed to do The next day, I had fresh towels, coffee, condiments but nothing in the room was touched Each morning I went to the desk and asked to be refreshed On the 3rd day, I was told the housekeepers were very busy and they would try to do the refresh, but no guarantee On the 4th day, the room was fully cleanedPrior to the lockdown, I am sure the Hampton Inn had a daily housekeeping service option, like every other Hampton Inn’s in which I have stayed With this stay, it felt like the housekeepers had been eliminated during the lockdown and the hotel owners chose to reduce their staff and pull back on services The rate I paid averaged more than $200/night, not a rate that should exclude daily housekeeping

Up front for the tasting experience here:If you are coming just for tasting, I think you will have a wonderful time I have been here several times before for tasting There is a wide variety of wines and you will likely enjoy some of the wines out of the bunch

The grounds are beautiful to explore and walk and the staff is very friendly and helpfulAs for the resort experience:I stayed in one of the Villas for 2 nights for a wedding and overall it was really quite wonderful I really loved this place and there are probably so many more pros than this, but I would like to elaborate on some of the cons because they seem so out of place with the rest of the wonderful stuff here I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant, spa, nor pool but I am sure they are lovely Starting with pros:Pros:- Room was spacious- Beautiful view on the semi-private patio- Loved the spa tub and shower- Had all necessary basic amenities like mini fridge and wine glasses in room- When I got service, wonderful service!!!Cons:- This place feels like it was not built for walking to and from the tasting part of the resort and the villa At the villa, you have to pass through the carports with no easy walkway around the cars, then walk on streets to the main hotel at least from where I was staying It seems very weird to build a property like this around a car especially when ALCOHOL is involved- There was no convenient place to put any of my towels other than bath towels I lay my hand towel on the surface of the bathroom counter which I think is questionable for sanitation Also, some of the towels just fell on the ground through the metal basket underneath the sink when I was trying to grab a washcloth It would be nice if it was better contained because I am not going to use a towel that falls on the bathroom floor- I only had one hand soap out of the three sinks I had in the villa Basically only one sink was viable for hand washing I was a bit too busy because of the wedding weekend to go to the front desk to ask for more- Calling the front desk with my room phone always resulted in a busy signal- Coffee maker was broken but at least there was coffee in the lobby- TV was at basically the worst angle for my king bed and the couch in the villa Not too big of a problem because I was so busy that weekendA word of advice for getting around how jarringly hard they make it to get from the villas to the tasting room: buy a couple bottles during the day and bring them back to the room before it closes The room service wines are up charged probably 10-20 dollars depending on the bottle for the convenience of staying back in your roomMaybe it could use a dedicated person golf carting villa residents to and from the winery during the dayAnyway, despite the negatives I have, I would probably come back in the future, but with tempered expectations It sort of depends though, because it might not be as well worth the money outside of the hotel block rateThanks for reading and I hope some of my words were helpful!

7/5/22My friend used her membership to let my husband and I book a two-night stay at the resort It was the LONGEST two nights of my life!We made reservations to eat brunch at the Vineyard Rose Restaurant on-site before checking-in The outdoor dining area is in need of some serious upgrades, with the ceiling caving in and all

They lay the silverware on the table, outside of the cloth napkins, waiting for guests arrival, which kind of disturbed me with Covid still on the rise and the confident little brown birds, jumping all over the tables and chairs, the whole timeCheck-in was seamless However, one of the elevators was broken, so we waited patiently for the one working elevator, each time we ventured outsideWe came back to eat at Vineyard Rose for Intermezzo and checked in as a walk-in for dinner The service was hit and miss We lucked up with one really friendly server during Intermezzo, who also made amazing drinks It was too bad the hotel has no microwave in sight to warm up your leftovers or pop popcorn (like we had planned to do)One of the first thing I noticed after using the restroom and washing my hands, was the makeup on the hand towel I don’t wear makeup Also, the carpet and furniture were visibly stainedDuring our stay, we could literally hear each time our neighbors turned on their water and took showers The A/C made an obnoxiously loud noise, every time it came on during the first night The second night, we got to listen to it make this annoying ticking/popping noise, ALL night longThe bed was SO hard, I woke up both days with sore arms/shoulders, and back We found out that the tub in the bathroom was not a jacuzzi tub, like we thought The last night of our stay, we went to the pool area at 8:20pm for a soak in the jacuzzi before bed The pool guy was cleaning it and said that it closed at 8pm, which contradicted the 9pm closing time posted on the pool gate entranceThe spa was closed during our visit because it was a holiday weekend, so I couldn’t have paid for a $155 massage or use the spa amenities, even if I wanted toThe room setup and the balcony view was impressive, but that was about it Definitely not worth the $800 I paid for a relaxing weekend getaway

George Ventura

My wife and I had a great time The whole staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating Especially Michael at the front desk

Definitely went above and beyond in making sure we were taken care of The resort is super clean, pretty, and totally relaxing The pool staff did a great job too We don’t get to get out often because of babies and Michael and everyone else made it so worth the time away Thanks again everyone

We are not regulars here just passing throughI thought it was very clean, And definitely a lively casino with a lot of patrons Look like it had some good dining choices

Never made it past the casino floor to any of the rooms Security wouldn’t let us view the pool area Staff at the store we stopped in was very nice

I went to the Morongo Casino and Spa with friends and had a great time This hotel, casino, and spa, is a world class destination in a beautiful setting in the California desert The hotel tower rises like a Phoenix in the desert, and there’s a gorgeous pool and spa

It was snowing in the mountains the day I visited and it was cold outside while it was warm in the casinoThe gaming floor is huge and a high tech wonder! All the slot machines are video based with colorful displays that are amazing You can gamble a penny, a nickel, quarter, dollar, a ten, or twenty on up In other words, there is something for everyoneThere’s plenty to do! With slots and table games including blackjack, video poker, and several bars and a multitude of restaurants, you never have to leave If you do want to explore, one of the largest outlet malls in the United States is right next door, and there’s a Starbucks right there too Plus Palm Springs/Hollywood East is just 20 minutes away by carAdmittedly, I’m not a gambler, though me and my gambling friends had fun at the Morongo Casino! Be sure to visit and tell them Roy sent you! Cheers!

Rented a small conference room here to film a deposition; so I don’t know what the actual rooms are like The lobby is beautiful Friendly staff

They only gave us access to the free/open “lobby” wifi It seems to be working well, I just wish we could have been given access to a more secure networkThe coffee in the breakfast area is fresh and tasty Which is important because I take it blackLots of options for food nearby Whatever you’re into, looks like they might have it

Honest Review The owners keep it looking nice It’s safe

But the first room I was in looked clean until I was trying to find a shoe under the bed Found some packaging from a bb gun, a ton of hair and lint and misc other bits of contagion The rooms are large Beds are comfy The shower/ tub floor in both rooms were so slippery that I had to put a towel on the floor All the girls from the front desk During THE DAY we’re pleasant and friendly The night shift lady was a pompous ray of unpleasantness

Sheri Mayta

This is actually a zero star rating There appear to be nice rooms in this hotel according to other reviewers but unfortunately I did not get one of them The carpet was full of stains, the furniture was damaged, the curtains looked like there was dried blood on them and the bed had a waterproof cover on the mattress which was uncomfortable and loud when you moved around

Why do you need a waterproof mattress cover? I’ve never stayed in a hotel that used a waterproof mattress cover The only good thing about the hotel was the woman at the front desk who was very pleasant Overall the hotel is old and in need of upgrades I will not stay here again and will let everyone I know to find a different hotel if they are ever in this area To the owner: You keep apologizing for the experience people have had here but it doesn’t appear you actually do anything about it You should not be allowed to rent out rooms in this condition They certainly are not worth what you are charging

Carri Chandler

If I could score as a zero, I would have Issues with location:1 Customer service – unfriendly welcome

Had to bring my own pen to sign?!? Wow No extra rooms since wedding guest staying there2 Room – Strong cat urine smell (never went away)3 Chairs – Soaked stains, grime ingrained chairs in the room The cat urine smell was so strong that I couldn’t tell if it was coming from the soaked stained chair I could only guess Definitely didn’t sit on chairs Office chair had a broken arm rest Both chairs were something you’d see on the side of the road with a FREE sign on it4 Holley tore sheer curtains and splashes of red on the wall and chair Not sure if it was blood stain5 AC – turned off every hour Room blazing hot upon arrival Hot weather, so we were up every hour to turn the AC back on Got no sleep6 Contacted hotel customer service on website and by email – received no response except that it is a franchise location and they will try to contact them Surprised that Sonesta would allow their brand name to have such poor represented by a franchise like this I thought there were brand standards for franchises7 No hotels availability in the immediate area All were booked for the night I understand why Red Lion was not their first choice to stay at Only reason we didn’t sleep in the car (instead of this unclean hotel) was that it was too hot outFriends and family will avoid any Sonesta and/or Red Lion Inns in the future I suggest the same to you and your familyWell traveled Never have experienced anything like this before

Only came here for a short event this evening, so I didn’t see any rooms or facilities However, the reception area was nice, the event room was great and the people working in the front were very sweet There’s a coffee place right outside in the parking lot and it’s across from a HS so I could see family coming in and staying to watch their kids sporting events

Should we have people come in for an event we’ll definitely recommend this hotel
