I had a family dinner in the Garden Room The decor was beautiful and food was amazing! Amy helped me throughout the process and she was so helpful, friendly, and quick to respond! She worked the night of the event and I was glad we knew a member and felt comfortable asking her for anything! We also stayed in room 228 and the room was clean, and quiet! We didn’t here people walking the halls or doors shutting We had breakfast and it was phenomenal! The host was so kind and our server was awesome and attentive! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were there for a wedding Everyone was very happy with the venue for the wedding The staff was awesome

They all knew there roles and they executed them very well They have a great outside area for a wedding 💑 The Buffet line for the food went quickly the food was delicious And then there was CAKE, AND CHEESECAKE Yum Yum 😋 All in all it was a wonderful experience Thank You

Stacia Kristo

Stayed in one of the newer rooms, but the room was musty smelling The room didn’t have a coffee machine, microwave or refrigerator For one night, it came out to $300, so i would’ve expected the room to have at least those things

The front desk actually stored some of our food in their fridge, which was nice! We liked our balcony and loved the location of the place! Close to all the action They had pull down shades, but it didn’t really block the light at all, so it was very bright when that morning sun hit our window I was up at 7 because the sun was so bright in our room

Wonderful staff; amazing food; beautiful venue! The Outing Lodge hosted our engagement photo session and, more importantly, our October 2021 wedding The venue was everything we wanted for a rustic, fall wedding The guests adored the staff

The food was delicious! Sofia worked with us for over 11 months to plan the day The unique things about this venue are the charm of the lodge, the proximity to hiking and biking trails, and the package deal with ceremony, reception, 7 rooms for guests overnight, food and dessert all taken care of by the lodge Thank you to the Outing Lodge staff for the best day!

Very pleasant owners Location wonderful Lodge is old, certainly historical and has it’s charm

It needs serious repair, restoration, including furniture, bathrooms, lighting windows, a/c, beds, fans need rebalance, sunroom door in rm 3 needs to have a whole new door system to close properly etc Give this lodge the TLC it deserves for all the years it served many who lived there

Kristy Deeds

The photos on social media really don’t do justice to how cozy and beautiful this property is Our room was so comfortable and had plenty of amenities We loved the amount of wildlife in the area, the lake and the gardens were gorgeous

Breakfast was wonderful and the laid back atmosphere was perfect We would absolutely stay here again!

Overall a decent stay The Jacuzzi suite really is what it looks like in the pictures, saddest part being that it’s is right there when you walk in the door so if your partner goes out/comes in while you are enjoying it, you risk being seen by anyone in the hallway Late check out was an option -11am was extended to 1pm for a reasonable $26

85 The location however seemed weird and there is no view from that particular room

If you want to waste a lot of time finding a place to stay you picked the right group Could not book a room on the app or the website Waited on the phone for over 25 minutes and then the price is conveniently $40 more

I’ll pass, I don’t have that much time There are plenty of hotels that have efficient reservation processes This is the second time in three stays, never again!! Sad because the hotels are beautiful but not worth the headache

Anika Logan

Their still doing no cleaning due to Covid however I didn’t know that meant public areas too You’ll be waiting on the phone trying to book an reservation for 5-10 minutes, which is ridiculous The manager Samantha is absolutely rude

When asking simply questions she seem anxious and irritated Truthfully if they revived a different manager I feel as tho this hotel could be a nice However Melvin at the front desk was very nice and helpful

Brooke Schaefer

Clean, updated, spacious rooms I like there’s a “market” in the building for snacks that may have been forgotten for the trip

Having Starbucks coffee in the lobby is always an awesome feature Staff is friendly and helpful Just wish they had things in the rooms saying when the snack/drink bar closed Or a list of nearby restaurants that delivered to the hotel

Cheri Phillips (UniqueCherie)

This hotel is conveniently located by Main St, Juniors restaurant and Mariachi Loco restaurant The staff was very nice and helpful The room was very spacious and comfortable but showing some aging – scratched wooden furniture

We were given a handicapped room and it was challenging to take a shower without water going into the bathroom – poor drain design The king bed was very comfortable The included breakfast is very basic and only so-so

Andi E

We stayed at the Radisson for a wedding in River Falls The main reasons for 3 star is the rooms were so dry it makes for uncomfortable sleep in the colder months (we stayed during 3rd winter April) The location of the hotel is great but the parking I very weird and feels limited

The breakfast has good fare and the pool and hot tub are nice Staff are friendly and helpful as well Overall if you are staying for the weekend, you’ll have a good time

Jenn Wahlstrand

We purposely chose this place for the underground parking And also when booking for a king sized bedWhen arriving back to the hotel after attending a show we arrived back to find that there was no parking underground due to multiple people parking poorly and taking 2 spots

When entering the hotel we were told that they knew about the parking situation and that they were trying to figure out who it is I’m confused as to why they would not know this information being that we had to provide our vehicle information We were directed to park in a lot that was once owned by the hotel across the way I am currently in a cast due to surgery so having to park and then having to go additional distance to return to the hotel was disappointing as I am not to be standing for more than 5 minutesAdded to the fact that our booking was for a king bed and when arriving was told we were being given a double queen room because we booked through a 3rd party site that room requests are not honored and that they were full and wouldn’t be giving us the room we were expectingThe internet is a little slow in reference that a download that normally takes seconds at home took about a minute, but if you can’t be patient enough that’s on youI will say the breakfast sausage was delicious and the eggs were fluffy and wonderful with no seasoning The waffle was great but we couldn’t find anything to put on them except for peanut butter, which was odd

From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing The front desk was manned by true professionals that cared about their clients 100%They were so helpful, friendly and accommodating

The 4 us girls traveled up from Nebraska for 5 days to attend a concert in St Paul for my niece’s birthday and even though we only ended up staying 3 days (the concert got cancelled at the last minute so we came home a couple days early) it was worth every penny and then some The parking at the hotel was a breeze in a very busy, quaint, beautiful town The location cannot be beat as can walk to everything easily Our room (308) was absolutely gorgeous with a balcony overlooking Main St With a river view It was beautifully appointed as a 1 bedroom suite They brought us a mini fridge and a rollaway bed and the couch was also very comfortable Plenty of room for the 4 of us They had numerous outside sitting areas, a fire pit courtyard as well as a rooftop deck with a fire pit and large hot tub as well We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone

Alyssa Goldschmidt

Pros: Rooftop hot tub was amazing The hotel Is located In a perfect place Everything Is walking distance

Staff/customer service was friendly & easy to call when we needed somethingCons: No fridge or Microwave(which we thought was odd), but just giving a heads up for future visitors, because we brought cold food & ended up having to toss It Lastly, the bed & pillows were terrible Other then that, great stay Fire pits & hot tub were awesome on these last couple cold nights!

Leslie Hollerud

I stayed here for one night with a friend on a free night because she previously had a problem In the dead of winter there was no hot water The hotel was attractive in the public spaces

The rooms had no closet, no fridge, no microwave and no iron We tried to eat there My water arrived warm on a really hot and humid day and the glass had a big smear of lipstick and a red dot that I was hoping wasn’t blood The server didn’t even apologize He just said I will get you another We ordered Red Snapper and when it came I tried to cut it in half to share and my knife wouldn’t even cut through it I’ve never seen a piece of fish that was that rubbery I don’t even know if it was fish The Manager came over and I told her what happened and she laughed and said “I don’t think anyone in the back is bleeding “ referring to the dirty glass With a huge bar and about 1000 bottles of liquor they couldn’t even make blended drinks If we would have paid for the room it would have been $389 a night If they want to charge those prices they really need to step up their customer service skills With all the competition in the area I would think they would be a little more concerned with their reputation Would not stay there again

Really enjoying my stay Got here a little early so I took a look around Nice hotel, the staff is friendly and genuine

Really like the location and the fountain as you drive in is beautiful The fitness center is well maintained and has a lot to offer A pool and hot tub is right next doorThe rooms are well maintained and very clean Thanks for a great stay!

Neasha Tanner

Clearly have a back up plan before staying here I booked a suite because we have two set of twins to only find out that they completely changed my reservation with no explanation phone call or anything Manger didn’t seem to care much and no one tried to fix the situation

I book my reservation well in advance It was booked September 2021 I hope I never have to book here again I didn’t even want to give it a star Please have a back up plan!

Audrey Geissinger

I think if no one has ever stayed here when it was the Sheraton then one would think this was a nice hotel Ever since it switched to Marriott this place has disappointed This time no cold water for a shower, no room service even though they advertise as such, room wasn’t ready at 3pm and my door was damaged and had to be repaired as it wouldn’t shut

The staff really tried and were pleasant The only reason I stayed here again was because of business I had in town I will absolutely not stay here again

We were greeted by a wonderful young gentleman when we arrived Justin made sure our check in process went very smoothly and he was able to help us extend our stay when we decided to stay an extra night Justin was professional, kind, and thorough

In the customer service industry, he is top notch In my opinion he could teach classes in that regardOur only constructive feedback would be that perhaps the breakfast area could offer a few limited gluten free options as well as dairy free for those who require that dietary need

Jean Knutson

Check-in and out was friendly and professional Justin was so professional and very kind Gregg provided a good and well-cooked breakfast

Not always seen at hotel breakfast offerings Nick got us out quickly with a smile Our room was exceptionally clean (and I am brutally OCD) Thank you, Isaiah (heard that was you)! Restaurants close and easy on and off the interstate

Everything was satisfactory about my stay The accommodations were excellent, the food was delicious The only complaint I have is that I never actually saw my hosts

My room key was left in an envelope near the door, and my debit card was charged automatically the morning I left I get that people have things to do and places to be, especially small business owners, but it would have been nice to meet the people in whose home I am staying

Kendra Charles

Such a delightful stay in the Molly Jean room Meat, cheese, fruit, and veggie tray along with sparkling cider (could be wine, but we don’t drink) awaited us at check-in Room had hot tub, fireplace and private balcony where we ate breakfast, which was delicious

Park right behind has several great walking paths Far more affordable than other options in the area We will be back!!

Emily Longsdorf

I surprised my fiance with a stay here over New Years weekend It was wonderful! It’s in a convenient location but still feels secluded and very cozy I chose the Michael E suite because of the larger jacuzzi tub and it was so relaxing

Everything was very clean and the food was delicious, including our complementary bottle of red wine The only drawbacks were that the bed was a little too soft, and my fiance is a picky eater so he didn’t eat all his breakfast Obviously that is not this B&B’s fault but knowing what breakfast would consist of ahead of time would have been nice Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

Stayed at this hotel with my entire extended family for a funeral Staff was extremely friendly and courteous and the General Manager Lynne was a great help in helping make arrangements for dinner at the adjoining Machine Shed (which was delicious)The hotel is very clean, and the lobby is beautiful

Very comfortable beds and large bathrooms is a plus The pool area is incredibly spacious and the kids loved itWill definitely be staying here again

Lydia Keskitalo

Clean rooms and great staff, but the floor plan is very odd Many of the rooms look into the pool which itself isn’t bad, but the windows are very thin and the pool doesn’t close until 11:00pm This can be a problem if you are here for business or if you like to get to bed early

However, good prices, clean rooms, and helpful staff makes this hotel a good place to stay in St Paul

Lisa M

Black hole of a room Overall, the hotel was fairly nice, typical Holiday Inn…HOWEVER, our room had absolutely no natural light coming in

We had a window, but it faced a wall Pitch black at all hours Hard to relax, when you have no idea what it’s like outside, or cues that it’s getting late, etc We (spouse and kids) slept terribly as we all kept waking up at various times afraid we’d oversleep (yes, we used an alarm clock), since we had no other cues it was morning Pic was taken before checkout at 9:30 am, just to show how ridiculous it wasWas never informed our room was like that when making booking, or calling in to confirm that day Unable to get new room as hotel was booked No refund as prepaid for best price We’re done with the IHG brand after this

We were very pleased with our stay here All staff were very friendly The room was clean and the free breakfast was fantastic

The little walk in pool and water slide were perfect for our 1 year old Our housekeeper came in between our night stays and gave fresh towels and went as far to pick up our daughters baby doll toy off the floor so she could vacuum and wrapped it in its swaddle and placed its bottle next to it on the bed It was just a very sweet gesture that we appreciated We will recommend this hotel to everyone we know coming this way

Pearl White

Outstanding service, room, bed, and breakfast Showerhead needed cleaning, but the rest was amazing The room was so open and clean

It had all the amenities I neededThe service desk handled all the weird changes my company threw at her While she was working with me, she recognized the next customer in line and told them she would be “right with them” Another employee heard that and promptly came out of the office to help Wonderful service

Dylan Rybak

The hotel was nice for the price in a good location Had no issues at the beginning First maid service came through, didn’t really do the greatest job cleaning the room and didn’t take out the garbage

But whatever, COVID procedures probably we didn’t care that much But the next day the assistant manager Jordan went out of her way to tell my wife that they QUOTE “need to have a discussion” about the amount of trash in our room I was like are you kidding me? You guys didn’t take it out and we have 3 adults and two small children who are in diapers, and we’re doing our best My wife waited patiently in the lobby while the maid cleaned the room only to have that embarrassing comment made by somebody with some authority while she struggled to keep our children entertained Very demeaning I have quite a lot of nights under my belt with Wyndham hotels and haven’t run into something that ridiculous yet Now I have to say that I called and freaked out because I was so angry, she did apologize but also tried to make my complaint seem less important because we were staying on a “discounted rate” The toilet in the room had brown swirls underneath the lip you could see when sitting in the tub, kind of gross No compensation was given for our complaint which we weren’t expecting but I think would’ve been warranted I don’t think we will stay here again

My Husband and I stayed at the Hampton the night following our wedding! We were given a free room, because all of our blocked rooms for guests had been filled the night before When we arrived to our king suite, there were custom wine glasses, non-alcoholic champagne, chocolate pretzels and popcorn from Knokes, as well as a hand written note from the staff It was absolutely amazing!! They pay attention to every detail, the rooms were clean, and our guests loved it

Tomasz Nowak

I did everything on the approom reservation, room selection, digital key, check in, check out, paymentThe only thing I didn’t do on the app, was having breakfast in the morning

Room was clean, there were no problems whatsoeverGood job Hampton Inn in Hudson, WI

SharesaDoesHair

Disappointed I paid what I paid for this room Also I brought my four-month-old dog and had to pay a $75 pet fee I thought that was pretty high but it’s OK because that’s just how it is when you travel with a dog

I brought my son here for a little getaway and we were at the swimming pool for no more than 10 minutes when a woman from the front desk came down to tell me that someone had already complained about the dog and she had to move their room so we needed to go upstairs and make her be quiet I came upstairs and heard zero sound coming from the dog I’m sure she cried for the first couple of minutes when we left as dogs tend to do especially in a new and unfamiliar place I’m super disappointed that our phone was cut short over someone complaining over a couple of minutes of noise Now I’ve spent all of this money to stay here and can enjoy it 0%

This Best Western is truly worthy of the “plus” in its name Everything about it was nicer than a standard hotel My room was spacious and beautiful

The bed slept well  The room had a sofa, coffee table, high quality large screen TV, full length mirror, desk,  microwave,  refrigerator, and coffee service with a Keurig The bathroom was well lit and quite nice with a high quality shower Breakfast was very good with sausage and eggs along with upgraded versions of the other types of food normally included in a hotel continental breakfast

The person who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming

all was wellGot home and saw that we were billed for two people, two nights for two roomsMy husband called and spoke with the General Manager twice attempting to make the charges rightWe had two people, two nights for ONE roomFirst she insisted that we had made two reservations although all we had was one email confirmationThe best the General Manager offered my husband was one night off the second room; again two nights we didn’t book and a room we never sawWe took our complaint to Chase VISA and thankfully they canceled the second room two nights, two peopleWe signed for one room upon registration, given one key No mention of a second room upon registration checking in or out Note, get your receipt and don’t have them email youSorry to say, based on our experience of how this was handled we will never stay at a Best Western againPlease give whatever points we have to someone in need

When we first got there a trainy was working the front desk (Jim) who was very nice but had no one to help him out This caused us to have to wait almost 20 minutes just to get checked in After receiving our room keys we walked to our room to be greated with the smell of burning plastic

We told the manager and she agreed that she smelt some kind of smoke earlier in a different room After telling the front desk we got a new room that smelled fine for the most part although of lots of cleaning supplies After about 20 minutes in the room it also started to smell like the first, of burning plastic We told the front end that we didn’t want to stay there anymore and they told us to wait so they could check out the room themselves They then told us that it wasn’t smoke just a “lavender” cleaning spray dispite the manager already confirming to us earlier that she smelt smoke as well They still charged us for the room and although quite kind I would not recommend staying here to anyone

We had a lovely stay at the comfort suites! The staff were extremely sweet, upbeat and helpful! I accidentally booked my stay for the wrong evening and they helped me correct it with no issues Check in was speedy and the hotel lobby was nice, clean and updated as was our room The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! Plus the tub in the bathroom was nice and deep! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area
