My husband and I stayed here after a concert at Nationals Park You can’t beat the location if that’s your destination, BTW We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in the Hilton group over the years, and this is easily the nicest Hampton Inn we’ve ever visited

The room was beautiful, and very comfotable and clean The use of space is smart and interesting We had tons of towels, and plenty of super hot water The staff was great– we were able to check in early despite the intense rush Breakfast was pretty standard for Hampton Inn offerings, but it was well done, with plenty of gluten free options for me Obviously the hotel is working with space constraints when it comes to parking and seating in the lobby for breakfast– but it’s in the middle of the city, what can you expect? We were able to find on street parking directly across the street from the lobby, and it ended up being more affordable than valet service All in all, this was an excellent experience and we enjoyed it very much

Serene Says

Better than I expected Rooms were spacious and clean Get a room with the stadium view

Excellent views! Quiet atmosphere and cozy feel Staff was all friendly and welcomingBreakfast was average, plentiful Parking was $55/night plus tax with valet only There’s a lot right across the street that was MUCH cheaper and very accessible Use it! Pic of the parking lot from my floor is attached to this review The rooftop bar and grille were only worth visiting if you want to take in the nice views and chill atmosphere The food was HORRIBLE It was like eating microwaved elementary school lunchables! The drinks were extremely watered down There are plenty of restaurants right next to the hotel to eat at Don’t waste your time or money there The restaurant is the sole reason I gave this location 4 stars

This place is a wonderful location The Customer Service at the Front Desk were so Kind & Helpful Especially Neutral & the other Lady that was working doing my check in & out! I apologize for not remembering her Name🤯

So Caring & HelpfulThe Guy who was the Sunday morning as I checked out was a 3 out of 10 He’s disposition was very unprofessional! I asked about retrieving our cars from valet and his tone was as if I didn’t understand what he was saying I didn’t like him and hope to never have to deal again at any Hilton property! Thanks again Hilton for an Amazing Stay💎

Came for casino experience only as part of a birthday getaway The GPS directions were a little weird but got us there Valet parking was prompt & only steps away from the casino entrance

We were carded & then on our way The atmosphere was lively for early Friday evening, drinks were plentiful, staff was pleasant & helpful, bathrooms were spotless My girlfriend plays the tables, blackjack & war, while I hit the slots & then joined her later for a $25 minimum war table The slots were stingy but I managed to hit enough to break even The tables were about the same, but eventually hit a streak at war & walked away several hundred on the plus side Some of the dealers seemed new, but no issues Masks were optional & social distancing wasn’t observed I was thrilled to find this casino is smoke-free! I would return here for sure

This is where I come to when I wanna feel luxurious! 😝 It’s a great spot to spend the day with family Lots of nice restaurants and bars at night 🍹🍸I really like the decorative themes they have close to the Casino 🎰 area and next to one of my favorite restaurants, Ginger

🍲There’s also lots of outdoor space to just enjoy the view of the national harbor area 🎡

Christina Grimes

So I can only speak on the Casino and the hotel lobby Security was pleasant upon entering I love a casino with a signature scent in the air

The Casino is pretty large with a nice variety of machines I only wish I saw more drink servers, I sat in a section for at least 30 minutes and did not see a serverThe lobby was beautiful, I enjoyed the installation Will definitely come back to play and hopefully stay next time

Excellent Easy check-in/check-out, staff was welcoming and really really nice

but that’s my experience with people in DC in general Atmosphere and design was top notch Rooms are small but everything you need for a great night sleep Bed is right at window sill height so feels awesome and campybut in a city Great overall design Hallways even felt great Loved the frosted glass showers and toilet but I’m very private and would probably be an issue with me if significant other was with me Although watching her silhouette in the shower would be awesome Can’t beat the price, unbelievably affordable

Joseph Wight

Wasn’t sure at first… Check in process was hassle free, loved that I could do it myself, not much available to help bring heavy/large luggage around but I managed Room was smaller than I thought with an unorthodox style but the bed was massive and incredibly comfortable Loved the fluffy pillows and the tablet being able to operate absolutely everything

The different cool soaps, tap water is safe to drink, then when I asked for cleaning, they weren’t sure when they’d get to it… then did it within hours which was a pleasant surprise Modern, elegant, and hotel of the future… would stay again!

sierra hall

I loved my time here at the CitizenM The decor was amazing and the cleanliness of the rooms were even better Our check in went well and it was very easy

The showers are amazing and the bed is so comfy The bar was my boyfriend and I favorite spot to hang out, the bartenders were lovely and we even made cool with the manager at the bar! She made us some awesome drinks The only thing I didn’t like was the parking situation You have to find random parking on the street However, the hotel was so nice that it outweighed that burden of finding parking Overall, I loved my experience the staff was very friendly and helpful

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t regret itI had a fantastic stay at the Residence Inn in DC/Capitol I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and amenities in the rooms The ladies at the front desk were very kind and extremely helpful They explained everything amazingly and made our stay very enjoyable! The hotel was within walking distance from the main attractions I highly recommend this location and will return to this location in the future

My Desk C.O.

A good place to stay at for a while The rooms are perfect; everything from a pull out couch to a stove, very high speed internet, great views, and more The employees were very nice also

There is free breakfast, but there are not a ton of options It was good though The location in Washington I personally wasn’t a fan of A pro could be that it was very close to the subway, but a con would be that just walking to blocks the wrong way and you can be in a shady area Overall, this Residence Inn was a great experience

This place was the excellent choice for us from the beginning to the endI called to ask some questions prior to book the room and the response was concise with all the answers We were impressed and booked the hotel

Upon arrival, it was smooth to check in and it was quick to check in Very convenient from parking to lobby to room as wellI drove pickup truck and the parking was easy for me I was again lucky to find a spot close the elevatorStaffs checked to see if there was anything hotel can help and provide The frequency was after arrival and a day later I requested couple of times and the response was quick and accurateWe rushed to find dinner place on the first night and there were so many restaurants with excellent foodsWe tried four places during our stay and all of them were fantasticNo doubt I will visit the wharf area and stay here again

This is typically my go-to hotel when I stay in Washington DC on business All in all it was a good stay The front desk staff is attentive and friendly

The property is kept immaculately clean Great location I usually book a suite However, upon arrival my suite wasn’t ready until two hours after checkin time which was 3:00pm I had to follow up a couple of times and no one seemed to be able to tell me when the suite would be ready It put me two hours behind schedule for a business meeting Due to that, I had to postpone my meeting to the next day In addition, the suite was located directly above a pub that plays really loud music from about 7pm to 12pm I realize this is beyond their control, but I did not get a good night’s sleep The TV in the living room also didn’t seem to work using the remote Eventually, I had to downgrade to a much smaller room but still paid the price of a suite which is disconcerting For those businesses travelers looking for a good night sleep I would not recommend staying on the side of the hotel located above the pub unless you can sleep through a five hour drum set

Kelli Grant

LOCATION! I will preface this by saying I’m more of a Mandarin Oriental girl, however -this hotel was clean and the staff was very kind, professional and helpful You can’t beat the location! Stayed 1 night here on business Note that when arriving, you’ll go down an alley and then up and elevator to the hotel

I had a waterfront room which may have been classified as a “suite” Not really a suite but it was a good room The rooftop bar area was awesome Breakfast was really good, the staff was very nice! Two of the ladies gave me great insight and information about the area and what I should see I love talking with them The night I arrived, the bar didn’t have many items on the menu -both food or drink, the draft beer thing was broken but that bartender sure was nice Older gentleman and was fun to talk to Beautiful views and great for walking around the wharf! The room rate seemed high for what it is but it might be because it’s on the water Just do not expect a luxury hotel It’s clean, basic and good for a place to sleep I was most impressed by the service!! Everyone was so kind and professional

Initially my mom and I stayed at the Thompson Hotel as a quick weekend getaway for my birthday, but it was a vacation for my mom as it was her first getaway since before the pandemic and her first time visiting DC She lived her best life! First off, I would like to thank the staff for being so gracious, kind and attentive during our stay I was allowed a late checkout for which I greatly appreciated

Our train home was scheduled later in the afternoon and after walking 20k steps yesterday making memories, I knew it’d be best that we sleep in I wish I could’ve stayed an extra night but I had to return home for an obligationThis hotel is BEAUTIFUL! It looks even better in person I sometimes have to visit DC for work and after staying at the Thompson hotel, this was the first time I thought “I’d come back” Our room was upgraded to a corner room which very spacious and clean The only complaint I have, although it could be the “new modern,” is that the shower is not fully enclosed I’ve stayed at a resort last summer with the same structured bathroom, so it could be that I’m not used to the new layout Continental breakfast is offered in the mornings The rooftop bar is very chill, however you have to take the elevator down to the lobby and then directly to the rooftop I didn’t get a chance to experience the restaurant but I’m sure I’ll do that my next visit 😉 There’s also multiple restaurants nearby The metro is less than a 10min walk away and it runs every 20min (I work/commute in NY so for those that understand, in case you miss your train by 1min… just pause and be patient lol) This hotel is also dog friendly and is near a dog park I have a dog-phew now, so I might bring him during my next stay

Joan Dineen

A fresh and stylish hotel, quite nice for the price Hyatt has really tried to introduce a young, high-design feeling here Rooms are of adequate size and function well

Rooftop bar was closed when we were there and I am not sure what other amenities were available A little under-staffed, reception often seemed to have long lines for check in and out My star-rating is based on value for the price and general ambiance

B Daisy

Stayed here for four nights It’s a nice, small, clean hotel The rooms are well designed and the location was convenient

They have complimentary coffee and pastries to grab for breakfast, which was nice The quality of the sheets and towels could have been much, much better They don’t provide daily housekeeping so you have to request for it the day before We asked for having our room cleaned three times, but only got housekeeping on day one No housekeeping on the second day On the third day, they woke us up by knocking at the door at 7 am, handing us a bunch of towels There was no other form of housekeeping on that day either I liked the rooms and the location, but I will not be going back because of the rude behavior

We had the BEST experience here!!! My wife and I stayed there for a short getaway weekend and as soon as we stepped in we were welcomed by Brandon at the front desk He was the nicest front desk agent we have had the pleasure to meet He was very personable and we had a great conversation

He went above and beyond and sent us a bottle of champagne to our room! Very nice gentleman The hotel itself was also fantastic Very clean and beautiful

Joseph Berkowitz

This is a very nice hotel in a fabulous location Our room was one of the nicest, and had a great view of the water The style was hip but a bit colorless

The property has a nice gym, restaurant with bar and outdoor sundeck, although it was partially blocked off and plantings needed some attention Front desk staff were all lovely and helpful Great all in all Could use a few tweaks

Nina

Dog friendly hotels are usually a hit or miss, and this one is a hit! Great overall experience during our stay The staff are friendly and helpful, and the room we stayed in have a nice layout and was very clean Common areas are beautifully designed as well

Nice location too Walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants, and parksThere IS parking available, but it’s pretty tight Think DC parking garages but smaller capacity However, there is valet available

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t regret itConvenient location, fairly close to the Smithsonian museums and national mallThe 2 queen bed (and sofa bed) room is perfect for families Service is fast and friendlyBreakfast is a bit basic but is included in your room fee which is a major plusMost of the unique amenities are closed in the cooler seasons and parking is a little pricey ($50/day) but otherwise it is a well equipped hotel

Ryan Yturriaga

Pros: Great clean rooms, access to the national mall, relatively a good part of the neighborhood Room service everyday The swimming pool is a little small for the building, and no matter how hot it gets (summer) the water is ice-cold

The room service staff are friendly and very accommodatingCons: (why the 2 stars) – it a hit or miss with the staffing Their breakfast times are 6AM-9AM so really short compared to other chain hotels If you are from the west coast, chances are you will miss the breakfast Here’s the kicker, the waitress literally swipe the food in front of us at 0905AM – instead of closing off the section, we are left just scrambling to get whatever we can get thanks to that very admirable waitress (05-31-2022 – mornings) It left a really bad taste for the 4 people left on the line without consideration at allI save about $5000 a night from Embassy Suites, but this kind of service is not worth it Consider somewhere else

Nichole Raybould

The staff is the most UNFRIENDLY I have ever experienced at a hotel We booked and prepaid for 3 nights through a 3rd party and I called the hotel the day before we were to check in to verify we were confirmed with our room as were to drive 6+ hours the following day It took 2 people on the phone and 45 minutes to “find” my reservation in their system even though we had prepaid for the room in order to get a cheaper rate

Finally they found it and said I was good to go Great We arrive the next day to check in and AGAIN, they cannot find my reservation It took 2 people and ANOTHER 45 minutes to “find” our reservation in their system They were incredibly unfriendly about it too Almost like they were waiting for us to get fed up and leave Finally, magically, it appeared and we’re good to go again With 1 night left in our stay we get a phone call from the front desk saying that we were supposed to only stay 2 nights We inform them, no, we paid for 3 nights It says right here on our confirmation and when we checked in we confirmed it was 3 nights They threatened to call the police on us because we told them we would not check out early They put my husband on hold and never came back on So in the meantime, I called the 3rd party company we booked it through and asked them to contact the hotel and confirm that yes, indeed, we paid for 3 nights My husband got tired of sitting on hold and went downstairs to the front desk to confront them in person By the time he got down there it was all “magically” fixed No apology No accommodation, nothing SO RUDE I’m being gracious in giving them 1 star but only because the room itself was fine and the free breakfast was good But we will never stay here again I have never had a worse experience with a hotel

I would not recommend staying here The staff treated us like they were doing us a favor and yet they don’t offer anything here The pool is closed

The valet is a joke but charges $49 a day There is no hospitality or warmth here The bar is supposed to close at 11, but they turned us away at 10:40 We then called and asked the front desk for a bottle opener and the rude staff person was obnoxious, arrogant, off putting and refused to help us out Instead he hung the phone up on us Never got the bottle opener Never got an apology for the awful service The GM was apparently on site and was made aware of our concerns and never once reached out Don’t stay here People wonder why robots are replacing them This stay would have been better if they had robots serving us

Young Juhn

Location and quality of the hotel was good But service was not much I requested early check-in and I do understand due to large events, rooms were not available but font desk staff communicated not just me but to all others like is customers’ fault asking for early check-in

Very disappointed staff training on customer service It damages the band value of The Westine

I should have read reviewsPros: It’s really close to an amazing Thai restaurant and Harris Teeter It’s walkable to the Potomac River and a park

Location is perfect for travelers It has good AC and the bed and pillows are comfy The staff were really friendlyCons: There is no early check-in, so when you get there, there is a line out the door and it takes nearly 30 minutes to check-in One of the elevators was broken, so it took forever to get to the room This hotel also doesn’t have anything included (the free wifi is really slow) Parking is $32 a night, water bottles left in the room aren’t free There is no microwave…NO MICROWAVE The coffee isn’t very good in the room The showers don’t drain well Customer service wasn’t helpful I called multiple times to confirm that the location I stayed at had a pool and both times the person I spoke to verified it did One part of the website also said there was a pool, or I misread…The specific room details said that a pool wasn’t an included amenity but photos of the location and calls to the hotel said otherwise When you call, you apparently don’t get people at the location

Nice hotel with a lot of inconveniences The room are great; goof climate control, comfortable bed, and quality towels, etc The problem is that the hotel is not set up for a normal traveler

It is a convention center primarily so if the event is co-located at the hotel, it’s great If you’re visiting DC and want to stay here for the nearby restaurants and easy access to the Maryland side, go elsewhere First of all, checking in is a process It took me probably 30 minutes to get to my room even though I had made a reservation There are long waiting lines at the check-in desk, and even though I’m an elite member, there was only one employee handling the check in Even after check-in, the hotel layout is so confusing it took me a minute just to find the elevators Second was the parking garage; it is a hike to get to and very expensive Third was the “resort fee” This is a sneaky way to charge you $22 more a day for your stay They say it includes dry cleaning and some other things but its a poor facade for an excuse to nickle and dime the guests–if I want dry cleaning, I’ll pay for it separately I was originally planning on staying there for an entire week, but decided to check out on the second dayI was excited to stay at this top rated hotel due to its location and surrounding amenities, but I’ll never be staying there again

Loved this place! We stayed in their upgraded Suite and it was fantastic Well appointed, shower pressure was strong, loved it! Beautiful building Only minus was the loud laser show in the evening which was really annoying from our room…… also the Pool leaves a lot to be desired

The floor of the pool is terrible!!! Rough surface like unfinished concrete People – GET IT RESURFACED SMOOTHLY!! It’s only a bit over 3 feet deep so very shallow for a real pool

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you won’t regret itNational Harbor in I would go back to this hotel again in a heartbeat! Let me start out by saying, that I’m usually a person that likes to explore new places, and rarely return to places I’ve already been due to this This hotel would be one I would return to- Absolutely beautiful Well kept building and grounds, lots of activities to explore and view I love that there was shopping with in the hotel, a great marketplace amazing Super clean and wonderful staff This is probably one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever see the glass elevator is nice the view is breathtaking the rooms were very nice and had lots of space 👍 The people that work here are exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful They led us in all the right directions, and front desk was very nice 😊

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you won’t be let downMy stay at the Harborside Hotel was INCREDIBLE! After having Shell Shocked from seeing the prices to stay at the MGM Hotel, we found this alternative that wasn’t too far away We were going to the MGM for a concert and wanted to spend the night The only thing that I really would say negative about this location is it may be near the harbor but you can’t see it, no water in sight anywhere

Also the shuttle that took us to the MGM and then our taxi who took us back after the show both told us that the area was not safe to walk around There also seemed to be quite a bit of either ambulances or fire trucks going by in the middle of the night Even though the casino is probably in walking distance I wouldn’t recommend it The nice thing about the hotel is they do have a shuttle that will take you to the casino, but it ends around 11:30 pm we didn’t get done with the show until after midnight and it cost us about $20 to get a taxi back to the hotel The staff was very friendly When we were there they were having a wedding reception on Friday and then some sort of benefit on Saturday morning so the place is used quite a bit for outside events Very clean and well-kept in really nice shape If I needed a hotel in this area again I may take a look around at some different places, but I wouldn’t be upset if I needed to come back here again

I rarely write reviews but my husband and I just had a wonderful stay at the Lorien We only did 1 night but we wish we could have stayed longer The hotel was immaculate

The room was spacious, updated and clean Extremely comfortable We travel often btwn TX and NJ and this is a great , convenient pit stop I should also add that we are traveling with our dog and it’s a perfect walkable neighborhood

Cosette Livas

It was a bit overrated They charge for EVERYTHING, and really you can’t tell why For a Spa the TOWELS in the room were rough, the beds are NOT Queens they are Doubles, they only have double beds at the elevator and in adjoining rooms, I have request for neither and could not be accommodated

There were some staff that were very helpful and provided extras when asked, but for what we were paying we really shouldn’t have had to ask for enough towels etcThe location is great especially if weather it goodIf you Valet, look behind you if you don’t see him, they sitting in their car? (crazy) but they were able to get car to you when neededThe BEST part was the restaurant that is connected We did dinner thereTOP NOTCH, PRICEY BUT I WILL SAY WORTH IT The Mussels and the pastayummy David was the best waiter ever and we did see the value thereA friend recommended this place and he admitting stayed there years ago, he loved itbut when we told him our experiences, he said obviously they had changed management or ownershipWe even heard them charging a person for Early check in, the person walked up and said she was there, if room was available great, but if not she just wanted to leave info at desk for when ready, she was in a conference there the girl proceeded to check her in, says room is available and then addsthat will be 4500 early check in the guest was like wait, what, I said I would waitit’s crazy sneaky stuff like that, that really not goodOh and the Happy Hour wineis Woodbridgecome on give me something for the 2500 FEE you’ve tacked on

This review would have had more stars but upon check in the glasses in the room were very dirty Additionally when my boyfriend woke up the next morning we found a used condom by the side of the bed Totally unacceptable

The operations manager did call to explain how this is not up to standard etc which I did appreciate but just sucks It was my birthday and not how I wanted to spend the day Ended up checking out Unfortunate situation If you stay here please check the cleanliness of your rooms Front desk staff was very nice and pleasant Wish I had a better overall experience

My husband and I recently stayed a night to celebrate our wedding night The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and sanitized but i was extremely shocked by the lack of amenities at this hotel There was no microwave in the room

There was no room service No breakfast the next morning They did not validate parking I think I was expecting a little more from a hotel of such quality It was nice for a quick staycation but i probably won’t stay here again

Marcus Douglas

Good hotel within walking distance of everything in National Harbor area It’s clean, the prices are decent, and the bar and breakfast are goodThe design of the room was a bit ‘industrial’ for my taste – very bare bones, lots of hard surfaces, not very inviting

But the bed was soft and ultimately got the job doneDuring the week I stayed, only one elevator was working and it was incredibly slow Also, on Friday night some guests were partying in the hallways all night, until 4am/5am

Steve Hudson

Great hotel Beds were excellent! Wonderful pillows Central location, views and cold air conditioning

A little disappointed that you had to pay $24 a day for a parking garage and that breakfast was not included Easy walking distance to shopping, dinner, waterfront views Overall, would definitely recommend them as consideration for a place to stay

Front desk, valet was great Location was good and the hotel was aesthetically pleasing The other reviews mentions the housekeeping duties being less than satisfactory and their right

I requested towels and toiletries and they never came I requested the room to be cleaned while me and my family was out and it was never done I watched the staff check rooms for room service (I happened to return while they were cleaning) and they never stepped foot inside Then I had to chase them down for those extra towels If it weren’t for that , this place would have 5 stars

This is the worst Hilton that I have stayed at My husband and I called our third party booking company and this Hilton to let them know that we would be checking in late as we had an overnight flight We were told that this was noted on our reservation and not to worry

When we arrived for check-in, we were “greeted” by rude front desk staff This person simply did not want to help us and told us he couldn’t find our reservation Made it seem like this was our fault Eventually, the reservation was found, but our request for a city view that was booked ahead of time was not metWe waited for two days despite calling twice to have our room cleaned The front desk said that they weren’t sure what happened; but that they “dropped the ball” Housecleaning was still cleaning and the front desk said they would check if they could come and clean our room; but then said that it was not possible and made us wait another dayWe requested cups or glasses to drink water in since our room had not been cleaned and no supplies had been replenished We waited 45 minutes and when we called the front desk were told, “we don’t provide glasses, but if it makes you feel better, we can” What kind of response is this? Plastic cups were eventually provided I have never seen such lousy guest serviceThe bedsheets slide off the mattress and there is no real duvet cover We are Hilton rewards members and were told that we would not get points We won’t be returning to this hotel

My family and I had a great stay here! The staff really made it an excellent trip Abdul at the entrance have us awesome directions, advice, and generally made us feel so welcome Abel in the restaurant went above and beyond to make my 1 year old daughter have a great dining experience

From helping with food allergy concerns to remembering to hide the salt and pepper shakers (toddlers lol), he did it all It made our trip really special and memorable

Now this is what I expect from a Marriott 5 star red carpet treatment Flawless check-in process

I informed the staff my family and I would be coming in late It’s very refreshing to have a professional staff regardless of the hours Everyone here treated me with the upmost respect Other Marriotts need to follow their lead I was even surprised with a room upgrade Fabulous experience Thank you Marriott! Loved the breakfast everyday!

John Wickman was a rude front desk – trying to check in at night and was being rude and unprofessional Accused me of harassing him and even told me that he will call the police and my “mother” taught me not to be polite Was asking him a simple question, when my “white” partner tried to check in, he was nice

But when I checked in (cause the reservation was under my name) – it was different Is it because I’m Asian? Sir, you are rude and a disgrace for Marriott hotels Racist old man!!!Even if we “can’t” check in yet, don’t be rude with loyal customers or any customers or don’t be rude with people You don’t threaten them to call the police or include “your” mother on how they raised you Unacceptable, rude and racist!

Great new Marriott property in a convenient location – just a 10 minute walk from the Congressional office buildings and is right next door to a Whole Foods All the staff including the valet to management were incredibly nice and attentive Rooms are standard AC brand rooms and there are water bottles in the room which is a nice touch

Rooftop bar has incredible views of the city and an interesting menu

Rewine-ing the Week Podcast

Great time! Hotel is beautiful and the staff AMAZING! The Smoke and Mirrors Rooftop floor is absolutely amazing and with a breathtaking view of some of Capitol Hill is truly beyond words My friend and I really enjoyed our stay The only thing that not a deal breaker but the gym – you have to be walked over to the apartment next door to use the gym since there isn’t one in the building

This is a franchised Marriot – even with that it was a great experience and I recommend! – my pictures are of the rooftop and breakfast area

Mikey Fort

The location of the hotel is awesome Very close to many historic sites The hotel itself is VERY nice and it has a lounge on the rooftop with a clear view of the capitol building

The rooms are spacious and have really comfortable beds The bathrooms have a rain shower function as well which was pretty nice I’d definitely stay here again

The hotel was a great place to stay The rooms were spacious and well laid out The front desk stay was pleasant and efficient

The valets were prompt as well when I needed to retrieve my vehicle Overall I thought the combination of location, amenities and room comfort was greatMy only negatives involved the hotel’s restaurant It took 10 minutes for the waiter to come take my order despite it not being busy I ordered a burger, fries and lemonade When the food arrived the hamburger bun was half torn and the fries were cold Also, I still had not received my lemonade The runner told the bartender about my drink and later my waiter came to check on me I asked where was the lemonade and he looked confused The waiter returned 5 minutes later to ask if I was enjoying my meal and I told him I’d enjoy it more with the drink I ordered So after my meal was done I finally got my beverageI received similar bad service for brunch I was seated promptly but waitress was missing When she did arrive, I had no qr code to view the menu When she returned with menu, she said hopefully kitchen will take it since brunch was technically over She did apologize for forgetting about my table The bacon was limp and undercooked and raisin brioche was missing the syrup Thus, I had 2 meals and 2 bad service experiences at the restaurant I recommend management address this with some training for their staff

My family and I had a great stay at the Canopy Our room was well-appointed and comfortable We had a lovely view of the river and the flowering cherry trees along the shore of the golf course located across the river

One aspect of the room that I really liked, especially after a long day walking around the city, was the shower We had just spent four days in NYC in a cramped hotel room with a bathroom that was slightly bigger than an airplane bathroom The bathroom and shower at the Canopy were palatial in comparison and I especially appreciated the relaxing rainfall shower after a long day walking around the city The location of the hotel can’t be beat There are many great restaurants to choose from just a few steps from the hotel and it’s an easy walk to the Tidal Basin and National Mall If you don’t feel like walking, you can hop on the free (FREE!!!) Southwest DC Shuttle bus less than block from the hotel at the CVS on Maine Street Staff at the hotel was excellent We were checked in by Diana and she stayed in contact by text throughout our stay The restaurant on site is a great option for breakfast and dinner I look forward to staying that The Canopy at The Wharf on my next visit to DC

Aisha Youins

This was my second time staying at this location in the past twelve month and the experience was nothing short of exceptional From the time I called to confirm my arrival time until the point at which I checked out, I felt both valued and welcomed The hotel staff went above and beyond my expectations

As soon as I checked in, I was greeted with a friendly text to make sure my process had gone smoothly and to see if I needed anything I enjoyed cocktails and snacks at the rooftop lounge and breakfast at the hotel restaurant The location is perfectly located on The Wharf also The only thing I noticed is that I was charged for WiFi I assumed my membership status covered that charge, however maybe I’m mistaken Nonetheless, I highly recommend The Canopy by Hilton on The Wharf and would absolutely stay again
