This is my favorite hotel so far in Huntsville They have all the amenities I like in the room – even a full kitchenette- only things missing are a safe and a magnification mirror It’s close to so many things to walk to – lots of restaurants and parks

A grocery store on the opposite side, a nice pool The reception staff is nice and parking is easy It feels very safe and it’s super clean around there They have hot coffee and tea 24/7, which is great when you’re traveling for work and you get up super early The room was clean and comfortable and I’ll be back again

The location and the rooms are nice This time I selected a studio room and was impressed The “Pack and Play” I requested was already in the room when I arrived

The staff are always pleasant and the hotel looks cleansI really like the staff Bryan He is always respectful and addresses and questions I have I typically travel with my family and when I request items, Bryan quickly responds and takes care of it without hesitation or complaintI recommend this hotel and this is where my family and I stay whenever I visit Huntsville

For an expensive hotel offering a place for the homeless and the rooms have steadily gone downhill Breakfast- unless you eat something packaged and check dates ,could be hazardous to your health Ants crawling over toaster and ring of syrup on counter

We had a big group in there for 3 nights and were there last summer No way will any of us return I could write a book of the unbelievable things going on at this hotel We all paid $260 a nite but then we also shared pizza and alcohol to the desk help to have lights put on in lobby at 7pm so we could all eat together with food and drink brought in???!!!!

We stayed here for over a week The breakfast was great every morning Mr

Michael actually made my family some turkey sausage if we asked Miss Charlotte in house keeping was very diligent with cleaning our rooms and a delight to speak with every day She especially made a effort to say Hi whenever my 2yr old spoke to her Clean rooms, hot showers, hot breakfast, No Bugs, and didn’t hear any drama in any of the neighboring rooms The staff really made us feel at home and for that we say thank you 😊 🙏

Evelyn Reed

Loved our king size room on bottom floor by outdoor patio area Nice big flat screen tv, nice clean white sheets and blanket on the bed as well Bathroom linens were nice and thick and not to mention a very decent pool area and air conditioned laundry room

And just to let you know our house keeping lady was above and beyond what most hotels would get💯 Breakfast isn’t too bad for what they offer will definitely stay here again

Heather MacKenzie

The stay was pleasant Location was central to tons of shopping, restaurants, activities, US Space and Rocket Center, and Botanical Garden The lobby was very clean, the breakfast was really good (tons of variety

Hot and cold breakfast options), and the main staff was friendly The rooms are nice The jacuzzi tub in the room’s bathroom was a pleasant surpriseNegative thoughts: Outside the rooms was another matter The carpets were not vacuumed and showed tons of dirt on the outside passageways and stairways were rarely swept (cigarette butts everywhere, leftover food, rocks, dirt), etc My stay was 7-days and nothing was done to clean those areas The only time I had Housekeeping, it was not suburb Sinks were not cleaned, supplies were not replenished (did not replace coffee, trash bag, nor provided new roll of toilet paper, soap, etc) and had to ask for the carpet in my room to be vacuumed (as when walked on it would turn the bottom of my socks slight brown)

Everything was pleasant and clean The breakfast was buffet was amazing with vegetarian and gluten free options with a dash of friendliness from the kitchen staff The room was particularly comfortable and extremely clean

Very quiet hotel maybe due to the residential area The room doors are quite heavy for a child or smaller person (to know in case of emergency) Loved the bathroom toiletries The mini mart was also well stocked New favorite in town!

lydia caddell

Very nice hotel, my husband and I have been to quite a few hotels here in Huntsville/Madison area and this hotel is by far the best From the housekeeping to the breakfast staff it was very pleasant I really loved the fact that when I walked off the elevator on the third floor on my way to our room it smelled like cleaning products 😊Then I walked in our room and it smelled very clean most other hotels have a very musty/mildew smell and I can’t stand that, Holiday Inn y’all get an A+ for that

Many choices for breakfast, it was hot food and very tasty My coffee wasn’t hot enough for me and one of the breakfast attendants got me a hotter cup for the kitchen coffee machine I really appreciated that You all do hospitality very well and I hope you all keep up the good work

Beth H

I definitely recommend staying at this hotel While some hotels hire anyone off the street, this Holiday Inn Express employs professional adults who are focused on customer service For example, the breakfast area was staffed by two women (both have the first name of Betty) that kept the buffet well stocked

When the pancake machine broke down one morning, a Betty told two waiting hotel guests that she would bring pancakes to their table after she fixed the machine Nowadays at other hotels, a breakfast employee would just leave the pancake machine brokenFront desk employee Shalonda was friendly and informative when she checked me in She also made sure that my room was to my satisfactionThe hotel was quiet during my stay The room doors are heavy and they seem to help block any noise from other hotel guests in the hallway The bathrooms are more spacious than the typical bathrooms at a different hotel chain (the hotel chain that lets you pick a specific room number in their app) And this Holiday Inn Express stocks the bathrooms with Dove soap bars instead of a cheap, generic hotel soap bar Oh, and the TV has the most channels that I have ever seen in a hotel room It just goes to show that while other hotels are cheapening out on amenities, this hotel is still focused on the customer

Nice hotel to stay in the area We were there in July of 2021 The grounds were beautiful, and with easy access to the Town Center outdoor mall that has a variety of food options

I don’t think you can beat the location Also easy and free parking I was pulling our 20′ cargo trailer, and was able to find plenty of spaces in the back to park my setupThe room itself is nice, nothing negative to mention I think my only comment would be that breakfast service was extremely slow for the number of people in there Even getting the bill at the end took an inordinate amount of time It didn’t seem delayed due to how busy they were, more like inattentiveness I wouldn’t normally note this unless there was something off about it, thus the reason for deducting one starHaving said all of that, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Eric Workman

The experience has been so relaxing and wonderful The hotel staff from Ms Emily in the front desk to Ms

Angelica in the food department have all been so professional, kind and very reliable Any issue that has come up has quickly been resolved by them with no issues The rooms have been clean and smelling quite nice I would highly recommend

Michele Prichard

Vinny and Jesse are the best! They took care of my needs despite the busy check in and challenges in parking They anticipated my needs and provided excellent customer service Working together all the staff navigated a busy crowd

I appreciate their attention to detail and exceeding expectations I look forward to my next excellent Marriott stay!

After a long drive down from Palatine, IL, on January 1, 2022, we had a tornado warning while staying at this Hampton Inn & Suites The young lady working the desk (Kaitlyn) was just outstanding in gathering all the guests into a safe location It was a smooth transition that lasted less than an hour

She brought out treats/snacks and most of the guests all shared something fun about their trip Kaitlyn did a great job and the hotel was just awesome in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and quiet after the all clear was given Sorry this took so long to post but came home to heart & cancer issues Dr Bob & Family

Mandy, Ms K, Mrs Mink, and everybody else that played such an amazing part in our wedding weekend We have stayed at a lot of different hotels being a military family and the Hampton inn and suites in Hampton cove is by far the most welcoming, warmest, and inviting hotel we have ever been to Thank you for making our weekend so special!

Kourtenay Huggins

Stayed here with my friend and our daughters over the weekend and had a great time! My wife and I stopped in late without reservations The clerk on duty, Solomon was emphatic to the situation and was willing to try to help us find other accommodations nearby He said he wanted to double check and discovered another guest has canceled and he got us the only remaining room

On top of all this, he was fun! We also met a manager later in the evening, Kyle He was super friendly, gave us great advice on local BBQ restaurants and a local white BBQ sauce All the other folks on staff were just as helpful and you can tell that service is a high priority here The room was super clean and modern The common areas were all spotless and we could not have been happier with our stay here Highly Recommended!!!!

Wade Gillis

This place was awesome Comfortable, Spacious, and Clean rooms Nice indoor pool and hot tub

Free Breakfast, Dinner, and Cocktail Drinks are a huge money saver The staff remembered me by name The location is straight across the highway from the Space Center You really have to nitpick to find any cons We will be seeking out Drury Inn Hotels for future vacations Don’t stay anywhere else

! Free snack food and cocktails between 530 – 7pm free very good breakfast, superb comfy bed in clean, tidy, well kitted rooms Staff were great and everything was just spot on First time in a Drury Inn in the US and I will be using them regularly now that I’ve experienced this Perfect location for the Space Center and Botanical Gardens Highly recommended

Cinn Waitley

Overall great experience All the staff was amazing Breakfast was decent

The young lady working in the breakfast area took it upon herself to make omelettes without ham when she overheard us say we didn’t eat pork The room was nice The only complaint is that there was quite a bit of hair in the shower I always bring cleaning supplies to hotels so I cleaned it The room would have been near perfect without that Also check your receipt I was charged double for parking When I brought it to the front desk attention the young man said it was happening often He fixed it right away I would stay there again

Jorge Serafin

First of all, the staff was amazing! From the moment we checked in, we had an awesome front desk young man that gave us great dining tips, try Commerce Kitchen! Then, next morning, our breakfast attendant was awesome, always on point! This property has clearly been remodeled recently with an eye to sustainability Loved that the bathroom had refillable fixed dispensers for shampoo etc rather than disposable samples (individual soaps were present too) Vinyl and tile floors with carpet only around the bed means floors are more cleanable and sanitary

Breakfast is plentiful, well-attended, and clean Location can’t be beat if you’re attending an event at Von Braun Center This property meets every standard I expect from a Hilton, and I would definitely stay here again

Jessica Smith

The hotel was very clean and the staff were super friendly Jamal at the front desk was awesome, he even chatted with us about the convention we were attending They had their own parking deck that was very close

The parking deck elevators were broken though, and it could use better signage to show you which stairs lead to the hotel on the upper floorsThe room was nice and the shower was huge, very easily fit two people without anyone feeling squished The breakfast was very good, there were biscuits with sausage gravy, eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, and yogurt The location was great and within a 10 minute walk from the VBC, a ton of cool restaurants, and a beautiful park with a river and fountain

one of the best values I’ve had in the US, a furnished kitchenette with a full size fridge and ice maker, the beds were actually pretty comfortable which is rare in hotels these days, the rooms were large and well complemented and they did have a small gym and store to make things convenient the stay was quiet, much better than the last 3 places I’ve stayed and above all, the staff was friendly and quite helpful, heaps of praise on these folks for their hospitality

Oluwatoyin Olatunde

This review is not particularly for a stay at the hotel (my reservation was cancelled), but for the level of customer service I received in dealing with situational adversity I had a networking event in town that required my stay from the days of Jun 14 – Jun 15 Unfortunately during my event, my reservation had to be cancelled due to a mishap at the hotel (Apparently a fire broke out that got the fire department involved, and some destruction of infrastructure happened due to said fire)

To add to the mishap, it was later in the day with very little availability for other reservations around town I am highlighting the efforts of “Jennifer Middleton”, who was the manager on duty In terms of customer care and service, She went above and beyond to ensure that my reservation cancellation, due to the fire mishap on premises was addressed accordingly in an effort to make me whole from the inconvenience Unfortunately, I was put up in a Red Roof Inn establishment, which was sub-par (hence the 3 stars), but the room was comped on company dime and I understood the late occurrence of the accident required that sacrifices had to be made Jennifer was also under the weather, but that didn’t hinder her going the distance to ensure that my reservation as a guest didn’t just get cancelled, with me wondering how to find new lodging I commend her efforts, and hope Sonesta as an establishment, rewards her efforts for the incident response and damage control professionalism she displayed #Kudos

carolyn P

Day clerk was very friendly as were the cleaning staff Our room was clean but it had a slight off odor that wasn’t noticable when the room was cooler The handicap bathroom was decent but the shower bench was too far away from the temperature control so I basically had to adjust the temp before transferring to the bench

All in all we enjoyed our stay

Front desk staff left a lot to desired, but the rest of the staff were great Stanley, Annette and Carol at breakfast were amazing They all had the best attitudes, smiles for everyone and did everything they could to make our breakfast enjoyable

The omelets and biscuits and gravy were delicious The bartender at the manager’s reception was great as well Asked her to make me something sweet and she made me a delicious cherry limeade with rum that I will definitely be asking for again! There are some issues with the air Had to have maintenance come in and look at it It got better but still was on the warm side even with it set to 62 and I don’t like being cold

Tracy Briones

Room was not clean when we checked in However, hotel staff (Sid) quickly found us a nicer room and gave my kids a snack pack while they waited Second room was perfect and comfortable

Breakfast was awesome Lots of variety and cooked well Annette on the wait staff was so welcoming and sweet She filled us in on the happenings around the hotel and gave great serviceConstruction was ongoing but quiet and didn’t interrupt our stay or sleep

Steve Hawkins

First for the good The beds and linens are excellent Definitely above normal hotel quality

The shower water is excellent Lots of water flow which is not normal in a hotel The breakfast is very good Annette and all her coworkers are very friendly and helpful Good selection for various tastesNow the bad For the price paid everything should be nice Three desk type setting chairs looked like the seats had been shredded by a cat There was a huge water stain in front of the refrigerator Decor was datedTo be fair they seem to be in the middle of a major renovation This place before you get here puts on an air of being the best Right now they are a long way from itThey really should lower their prices considerably till the place is done renovating

Great hotel for families in town for events and any other reason to visit Huntsville!! Great location close to downtown and a Publix just down the street!!Very spacious room! There is a safe in the rooms for your valuable itemsThe night crew let us soccer dad’s hang in the lobby till 2 am! We were behaving and playing music just chilling so it was nice to have a place to do soBreakfast was good, but there is no bacon so just an FYI

The housekeepers were nice and the rooms were clean

LaRonda Corrin

Have stayed here twice now Love the location and free parking The pool is really tiny and it’s in the shade most of the day

Staff was friendly but was sad to see the bar was closed permanently My issue with this hotel is the rooms If you are traveling alone, it’s fine but with a spouse partner or family, the layout is well, awkward The bathroom is spilt into two rooms, one with a toilet and small sink and the other a shower and larger sink So if you need to use the toilet before getting in the shower you have to leave one room and do into the other The doors to both bathroom areas are barn door style with frosted glass doors You can see shadowy figures when someone is in there for sure and at night if someone needs to use the restroom the light illuminated the room through the glass door The rooms definitely could use a design makeover! Beds are comfortable and a good value

Krystin Johnson

Stayed in hotel for 3 days for a tournament at the Von Braun Convention center Hotel was amazing! Super close to downtown and the convention center Room was clean and we’ll maintained

Staff was very helpful and courteous Breakfast for the days we were visiting was phenomenal! Coffee, juice, omelets, meat, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, grits, bread etc! All of it was beyond superb and I will definitely be returning in the future!

The check in process was very simple and efficient I had a easy time doing so and the staff is as professional as could be I did have an issue with actually get into my room

The battery was dead on the door, so I went down to the front desk and they ended up putting me in a corner room instead The room was very spacious and exceptionally clean There were a couple minor inconveniences; there was no hand soap near the sink and none to be found anywhere, the conditioner inside the shower was empty and the toilet paper roll was 3/4 of the way used Yes, those are small issues but I expect those issues to be taken care of before I even get to the room Aside from that, the access to the airport itself is essentially right here It is indeed in HSV airport itself! I enjoyed a nice quiet night in a clean and comfortable room and would recommend this anyone traveling to and from Huntsville International

Cynthia Murrah

The Four Points is convenient when flying out of the Huntsville Alabama Airport Check-in is so easy We parked in long term airport parking since we were flying out the next morning, but I think there is dedicated hotel parking for patrons just staying in the hotel

Room was very clean One of the reasons I am a Marriott Bonvoy member are the amazing beds in the rooms I sleep so good every stay There is also a restaurant available but we had a very early flight and we were not able to enjoy it on this trip

Toxic Decision

Pros- Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming Conveniently located in the airportCons- room was very basic for the price

Bathroom are ridiculously small The room walls are paper thin, you can hear the rooms next to you like a bedroom in a houseI was woke up several times by loud tvs, doors slamming and other guests just simply talking At 5am when a lot if guests are getting ready to leave its pointless to try and sleep Might as well get up and get moving yourselfI would not recommend if your looking to get some sleep

I give them 3 star because the kitchen area could stand an update for the appliances! The room was nice and roomy The kitchen area was very convenient for longest stay Nice little area to dine

Also another area for business workPretty good breakfast!!! I enjoyed the waffles fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, and sausage !!!😊 👍

Pretty nice here Quiet location Friendly staff

Had a small issue with my room upon check-in Made the staff aware, and it was immediately resolved Upgraded to a new room Put me in a suite instead Thank you front desk staff!!! The maintenance staff fixed a printer issue in the lobby business center for me on the spot Oh, breakfast is pretty good, too See why I’ve enjoyed my stay so far?!?!?!?

It’s Tanya!

Front desk associates, no matter who yiu spoke with, were very nasty and did a great deal of socializing amongst themselves instead of focusing on the customer They were quick to battle with you on rooms that were prepaid We had to let them see our virtual receipts and confirmations, which should have been in their system already

The rooms are very dated The bathroom was very 80s and we did not use our showers because it just appeared gross The kitchen area was ok, but we dis not use any of the supplies they had available due being unsure if they were cleaned/sanitized We took it upon ourselves to sanitize each room before unpacking anythingThe ONLY ok thing is the location That’s it We will be staying at the Element next time when we come back to visit our Huntsville fam

The rooms were all very clean and modern, they’ve since renovated from the last time I stayed here three years ago and it all looks fantastic I used the gym while I was here and they have lots of modern equipment including Peloton bikes — tried them for the first time and really enjoyed the experience The pool still seems to be closed though it says it only is for the Winter Also, the M Club is closed on weekends due to staffing issues Still a great stay overallHowever, there were a lot of mishaps service-wise that I think needed to be pointed out These were all resolved when I asked about it, but I had to make multiple trips to the front desk each time• When I checked in, I was put in the wrong room• I waited upwards of 45 minutes to get served at the bar (only one bartender, to be fair)• By the time I was served, the kitchen had closed and I wasn’t able to get anything to eat• I had to ask for a free breakfast coupon for the morning, but I wouldn’t have received it otherwise• I used a $10 food and beverage coupon, but after I checked my e-folio, it wasn’t appliedAgain, I got these all fixed up and the staff were happy to assist, but I felt a bit odd going to the front desk so much asking for stuff Still had a nice stay though

It may not be close walking distance to a lot of bars or other places to eat, but it it easy access to the highway and you could be Downtown Huntsville within 5 minutes The Huntsville airport is only about a 10 minute ride away However since Covid they don have shuttle service to and from the airport

The rooms are exceptionally clean and the staff is VERY HOSPITABLE There is a restaurant on property which is convenient and the food is good I must say

—-never received a reply from the manager regarding our email—-Hello Ryan,We just wanted to take the time to share with you how our experience went during the weekend of May 20th at the:Huntsville Marriott at the Space & Rocket CenterWe arrived on Friday and were greeted by Marriott staff with no obvious concerns or issues However, as we entered our room, we noticed a very “stale” smell We figured that maybe because the building was a bit older, that all the other rooms were also this way

To our surprise, none of our family/friend’s rooms had this issue as far as we’re aware We mentioned it to housekeeping, but nothing was done about it Housekeeping never tidied up our room while we were away and lastly, we called down to the front desk on Saturday to request washcloths and were told that there were no more washcloths in the entire hotel! How could this be?We were told by the supervisor at the front desk that “the hotel had an abundance of guests and that there was nothing she could do about it because housekeepers are the only individuals that know how to operate the laundry facility” Your supervisor suggested that we could wash up using SOAP and our HANDS!! This is the most absurd and barbaric thing you could ever suggest to a paying guest, and I would hope that you nor your management team do not find this to be okayThe response we received was extremely inappropriate and unprofessional and we hope to never experience this again We hold Marriott and its affiliates to a high standard and we’ve never known Marriott to operate this way

You can tell that the hotel needs some updates to the outside, in the hallways and just cosmetic stuff But, honestly, for the price, it’s a nice, clean & convenient place to stop Very kid friendly

The staff was very good with my kids The rooms themselves were very nice and clean Spacious enough for our family of 6! Which can be a challenge for us

The room was nice The customer service was decent The manager was excellent

The bed was a little hard with very soft pillows(but I bring my own pillows) The room was super warm, even at 60°F and there wasn’t a clock The hotel has great amenities and a decent breakfast We always stay at this hotel for convenience to friends/family Definitely will stay again

After more then 6 hours on the road nothing is better then laying on a comfortable mattress That was unfortunately not the case at Double tree here in HuntsvilleThe king room that we reserved kept us from achieving a good night sleep

We kept falling into the middle Found out this was because the king was actually two twin mattresses which may be the size of the queen Now we have two people in the bed and we would have booked two queens if we knew in advance so fair warning to anyone There also is a glass door between the bedroom and living room but if the door is open the opening is small and kind of makes you feel like your in a submarineThe art and decore were modern and gave a warm and cool atmosphereWe have family at space camp and felt this hotel was so much more affordable then the Marriott

Absolutely beautiful hotel! Fantastic front desk service Outstanding fitness center! Great location Really enjoy the proximity to so many restaurant options

King room is very spacious Clean Well kept Really like the bed and pillows Have been getting Great sleep Nice bath towels and really like the shower Only negatives are the walls and doors seem a bit transparent in that you can easily hear others I am a hard sleeper so it doesn’t bother me while I sleep, but when not sleeping it is really easy to hear other conversations Also, not the nicest facial tissues or toilet paper, rather course and not soft at all The negatives would not stop me from staying here again or recommending others stay here I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel!!

Nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff, hotel was busy with lots of people staying on the night we were there, however breakfast service wasn’t able to keep up with the demand/number of people and there didn’t seem to be much of an effort to ensure things were being replenished quickly enough Unfortunately people have places to go, and things to do and having to wait around for breakfast items/coffee to be replenished really doesn’t help That said, the breakfast items (when they were available) were all of excellent quality

Its not that I like to give bad reviews, but I have to say I’m greatly disappointed The hotel is really in a good location with multiple eating establishments/attractions The following are my areas of concern:- One(1) microwave for use in the 4-story complex located on the first floor lobby

– In-room mini fridge didn’t properly cool- The breakfast was minimal in quality and quantity or servings- Food delivery personnel were only allowed to enter lobby; required guests to meet in lobby for pickup- Reservation cancellation fee equates to a full non discounted night if within 24 hours
