Kristi

My room was nice, the bed was super comfy, it was very clean, and shower pressure was okay I was sad to have a parking lot view, but someone has to have it The balcony was nice and the staff around the building were very attentive

Beautiful grounds to explore My only wish was that breakfast room service would have been available but the hand pie I ate for breakfast was fantastic The dining room was really lovely as well Overall, it was a nice stay

Connie Grant

Wow! Beautiful location, grounds, common areas We loved our room, the bed, the towels, the robes, the soap and bath salts The restaurant was delicious

The shuttle to the airport was a great perk We enjoyed the hot tub The complimentary snacks were delightful This is a 5 star establishment I’ve already told my travel agent for his future cruise clients! The next time we are in Seattle, this will be our first choice!

CM Scott

It was quiet and relaxing for the most part You could hear dogs barking sometimes, but it wasn’t too noisy The bed was amazing to sleep in, and the tub was deep enough to soak in

If you showered when everyone else did, you didn’t have hot water for long, and there is definitely temperature control on the water The grounds are beautiful and it’s close to the airport

Great Hotel! From the area you wouldn’t expect it but when you walk into the lobby it just gives the sense of “wow, this is nice!” The staff is friendly and helpful and even though the price per night is actually quite fair and budget friendly the rooms are spacious and open Depending on the side of the hotel you’re in you could have a great view but all the rooms have lots of natural light I was only staying here because our flight was cancelled and that’s where the airline put us up in but I would stay here again on my own

BJ HK

Super location; close to the airport for a 6 am departure next day Check in was quick and the desk agent was very friendly Our feather free room was clean, tidy and ample in size

The restaurant was great; food super good and wait staff very cordial and accommodating Convenient shuttle service offered to the airport for our 3:30 am ride The driver was timely, friendly and efficient She was respectful of those who made it to the lobby in time for the 3:30 am departure She even made a courtesy call to the rooms of other expected guests; they did not show While the area is noisy; “duh”(—airport nearby)- with additional roadside activity we were pleased with our stay here; served our needs for next day airport departure

N.Y.A. Matchmaking Services

I absolutely LOVE this place The manager Angela is remarkable, extremely kind and so easy to work with The rest of the staff were highly accommodating and attentive

The food and drinks were delicious and did not disappoint I had an networking singles event here and couldn’t have asked for better service! From start to finish myself and my attendees were taken care of Everything was clean and orderly and the energy at this venue was phenomenal It’s in a great location- not too far from the Airport and it’s also near a Dollar Tree, Gas Station and Walgreens which is helpful for last minute shopping I would definitely recommend doing an event here or staying here the next time you’re in town They’ll be sure to make you feel like home!

Booked this hotel for a short trip to Seattle based solely on the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed The front desk staff were very helpful Got an accessible room with a wheelchair fit in bath and it was truly accessible

The hotel staff gladly provided a bath chair when we requested one Cleaning was done promptly To top it off, the allowed a complimentary late checkout that gave me time to shop at the nearby south centre mallThe restaurant meal was quite affordable and really tasty Yeah will likely stay there again when next i visits Seattle

Lisa Brown

Very nice experience here The restaurant downstairs has great service and drinks The environment there was perfect with enjoyable music and ambience

The hotel room was fresh, clean and modern It was very quiet and peaceful The mattress was more comfortable than most hotels I’ve stayed at Very tastefully decorated All the staff were warm and welcoming I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Wendy Pope

I really wanted to love this hotel for my work travels It’s modern and new and clean The beds are comfortable and it is fairly quiet overall

The parking is terrible HOWEVER, the customer service is HORRENDOUS!!! At check-in the staff was great But Monday morning staff were rude and had an attitude when calling down with a need You call the front desk and it rings for 10 minutes before they answer Oh and I had to call 6 times for a hairdryer in one day After calling twice and waiting over an hour I was late for a meeting I had to dry my hair with an iron because they wouldn’t respond to a simple missing item in the room Should make them pay for my hair treatment since my hair will need repair after this trip Still haven’t received a hairdryer and it’s been 12 hours or request via phone and email I would recommend you stay somewhere that you are appreciated as a customer and that simple issues with rooms can be resolved with one call I will be telling my corporate travel team not to book anyone else in this hotel again

I’ve stayed here a few times and I love it Great rooftop patio with a view of Lake Washington Large rooms

Comfortable beds Quiet Great breakfast A little more pricey than the Best Western nearby, but definitely way more worth the extra cost The only drawback is the parking garage It can be difficult to park larger vehicles They are pet friendly but you’re limited as to where you can walk your pet (the park across the street doesn’t allow dogs), but there’s a great dog park less than 2 miles away

JR O

I have stayed at Hampton INn hotels before, and loved it For the price This one is not at all worth it

I stayed here because the hotel next to them did not have any openings working at the hospital near this hotel Bed was nice and comfortableI like the fact that the parking garage has a secure gate, you can only get in if you have your gate key or their Hilton app Which is great if you are working grave shifts What I don’t like is the signs posted if you forget to put your parking pass on your car dash board you will be towed without warning Why have all this security Make me give you make and model of my car, also my license plate number, and post those signs Comes across not welcoming and real aggressive N makes you not want to visit againThe room gives me vibes please don’t get comfortable, no dresser to put things away just a closet I was here for a business trip for 7 days Also my room wasn’t the cleanest, found shocks behind bathroom door from someone else who was in the room I am sure prior to meOther hotels I have stayed with in the city, with pool options are open here The pool here has been closed for 6 months according to another review And during my stay sign is still showing closed for health reason Not sure why that’s still a concern considering all the staff is walking around with no maskBreakfast was, free! Really not free since I am sure the cost is in my hotel fees It was decent, nothing to write home to mom aboutStaff is not rude, but wasn’t the friendliest I found more cheer at a funeralLocation is around nice places to eat, but if I had my say for the price, and not throwing shade I would go next door for my next stay Nothing makes me want to come back to this hotel

spooky boi

While I was staying with my parents for a prolong period of time at the hotel our car and only car we had access to got broken into With the only way they could have gotten in to the secure parking area was if the people worked at the place when we informed them they said that you park at your own risk and don’t care so if you want to stay here don’t leave anything in your car thankfully they took only a toaster and some suitcases with some clothes but the fact is that it was probably an inside job that knew we were staying for a while basically living their ( looking for a house) and that we looked relatively wealthy due to our car and the stuff we brought to our room which was a monitor and computer and some other boxes with other stuff Do not get me wrong the staff were and are for the most great but it was almost definitely a inside job and the company the employee definitely don’t care because of the park at your own risk policies the fact their no camera in the area

Also due to how stretch the police are don’t expect them to help you due to how high the crime rate has gotten and the low funding they made my father write the report for him to send it to them

Con: room is a bit outdated, bathroom is small, no mini fridge, no self-parkingOne of the two elevators was down, so had to walk the stairs as it’s super slow to take elevatorPro: hotel interior is actually cool, room is clean and spacious, and has good view

Staff is friendly and efficient, good locationThe rate I booked is quite good, so money is well spent

Sofia Rosselet

This hotel had a lot of character, it was really charming and unique I did not think this reservation through since it was very overpriced for a stay for 19 hours I also stayed on a Saturday evening and there is a Mountaineering Club/Bar on the top floor of the hotel which meant there was a lot of traffic with only two small elevators

Of course it is Seattle so the parking situation was chaotic with the valet overfilled Customer service was so-so The rooms do not automatically have a refrigerator in them so you have to call down to reception to have them bring one to your room

Ruthie Elizabeth

the concierge’s are always super nice and helpful i’ve stayed here several times and they’ve always been accommodating the rooms are clean and funky, the views are nice, the cafe downstairs serves decent coffee and pastries, and the wine selection is really great

i tucked myself into the side downstairs by the cafe and worked for several hours in the morning without being disturbedthere’s plenty in walking distance, but the mountaineering club is a fun place to eat (make a reservation)

Location, parking, amenities, comfy bed – all were great! Loved the view from my room, and loved the in room coffee Check-in was easy, accessing conference rooms and using the sky bridge for food/shopping was a breeze Conveniently located near the freeway as well! There is a card that you have to enter all the way inside the door to allow lights to come on, it is a cool way the hotel helps save power, but good to know before you are in a dark room unsure why the lights aren’t working 🤣 I would definitely stay here again! Loved that a room key was required to get to each floor as well, nice added security

Andy Schlei

Years ago I spent many nights at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue while traveling on business, so I was curious to see how it had changed in 20 years It is in great shape The rooms have been updated and everything is new

The lighting in the room is mostly indirect and is very nice There is coffee service with a Keurig machine in the room The staff were friendly and helpful It was great to be back and see the place reasonably busy Our car needed attention because we had run into a swarm of locusts in southern Oregon, and the valet staff were very helpful in getting our car into the wash and cleaned

Anji Baghel

We recently moved to Bellevue and booked our stay here as we knew it’s a pet-friendly hotel The stay was so good I was worried about my dogs because staying in a hotel for long could stress them out

Hyatt provided a comfy stay for us and my two dogs My dogs loved it here There are a lot of eating options around You can go for a walk in the city Everything is easily accessible And the Hotel staff is always gentle and polite Always there to help and always available

I generally really like this hotel It is convenient to the airport and many locations throughout Seattle and the south sound The rooms are clean and have practical floor plans

The kitchens are great for longer stays I’ve only given three stars this time, though, because it has been 2 years into this pandemic and they are still keeping the bar closed and no longer serve appetizers They are also not hosting food trucks Please reopen the bar and the M-Th happy hours Everyone has had covid now, so it is time to move on please Thank you

Cassandra Luppens

When we checked in noone told us to put the key in the slot to turn on lights and ac Room was about 82 and so called ac set to 68 It was hot and uncomfortable all night long

The hallway was cooler than our room They also didn’t inform us we needed to schedule a pickup to return to airport nor did they inform us when breakfast was served Bed was very springy hard It was quiet and close to the lake which made for an easy walk and swimming Overall very lackluster and maybe a 2 star Marriott It was quiet that was about the only pro What looked like rat or cockroach droppings along the hallway leading to the dining room I wouldn’t stay here again

Gayle Otis

If you are staying in Seattle, the accommodations at Marriott The Residence Inn Seattle Sea-Tac Airport are outstanding! The staff could not have been more professional and very helpful The shuttle service was easy to use and they will even transport the guests to a restaurant as well as the regular airport route The facility is only about 4-5 years old and maintained very well

The entire residence is very clean and the location is perfect It is close to the airport and has a path to a lovely park with greenery and a variety of trees which was wonderful to walk around and even a lake The area felt very safe We walked down to Sharpe’s RoastHouse several times during our stay which we would also highly recommend as the food was absolutely delicious Don’t miss out on staying at this wonderful residence when in Seattle!!!!!! We can not wait to go back!!

Stayed here in July There were some pros and consCons: Getting checked in took nearly 2 hours even though we had a reservation and had already paid for the room and stay

They double charged us and the process of getting the $1600 refunded was lengthy and took nearly 3 weeks for it to be returned to me (as refunds normally go, should have been a week at most) They didn’t process the refund in the first place, and calling didn’t make it go faster Talking in person three separate times finally squared everything awayTL;DR Communication was lackingPros: Everything else was amazing Great amenities, loved the bed, very clean room, amazing bathroom Parking lot is easy to manage and very close to restaurants, stores, and the freeway Heater and AC worked fine Elevators are clean and work well Couldn’t find the stairs thoughPhotos attached are after a two nights stayOverall: Would stay here again, but would book over the phone and use my credit card instead of my debit

J Leng

Few hotels in the greater Seattle area can match the level of customer service we witnessed while staying at the Hotel America In example: while I was enjoying the free breakfast one morning, I inadvertently started spraying non-stick oil on the grill before looking for the waffle batter I didn’t realize they had temporarily ran out of waffle batter

Amazingly, the breakfast team overheard someone using the spray oil and quickly ran out to me with a freshly made cup of batter to pour on the grill I was shocked at their level of initiative They also kept the breakfast room VERY clean I love that! Perhaps best of all, they went out of their way to get me a great room when I arrived VERY LATE at night and my original room was not yet ready Two big TEXAS–SIZED thumbs up!

Jim Link

Charged my card even though I canceled 2 full weeks before date of canceled stay Getting a refund virtually impossible (STILL TRYING) This business is not operating with any ethics whatsoever

Disingenuous at it’s core DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALLUPDATE-THESE FOLKS TOOK CARE OF MY REFUND ONCE THEY WERE MADE AWARE, AND EVEN REACHED OUT TO MAKE SURE ALL WAS GOOD WILL DEFINITELY GIVE THEM A TRY NEXT TIME!!

The first impressions were very positive Check-in was fast with very friendly staff and the room was clean And the location is really amazing, it is probably the best thing about the hotel

However, there were two major issues that prevented me from getting barely any sleep overnight First, the walls are EXTREMELY thin and you can hear everything that’s going on in the next room, especially at night when the noise carries I got woken up in the middle of the night when my next door neighbors seemed to have come back to their room, took a shower, brushed their teeth, The walls were so thin I could almost make out the conversation they were having in the next roomSecond, there was a very strong smell of cigarettes overnight It was coming from the bathroom, where the smell was unbearably strong and it spread throughout the room There was a vent in the bathroom so it’s possible the smell was coming from one of the neighborsBetween the noise and the strong smell of cigarettes, I ended up getting only a couple hours of sleep If you are a very deep sleeper, this hotel might be for you If you are not, either come prepared with ear plugs or you’ll have a rough time trying to sleep

Nina Thang-Winters

We pulled up and was not greeted by the valet We were out there for some time and sorted out things from our vehicle and still no greet by a valet We went inside only to find no receptionist

Both the valet and receptionist came out of the office at the same time Indeed I questioned his whereabouts because we HAVE to pay for valet ONLY Friendly & good service but I was not impressed with the required valet service The room is cheaply made without fire rated doors We can hear your conversations from a few doors doors down I can hear kids running and what is being said on the radio between hotel staffs The single King room has a beautiful bathroom but the shower has no shelves to put your necessities The view… no view…too close for comfort The food was good! The stars goes out to the staff

Austin Prasad

Really not the stay I expected from this hotel Let’s start with the bright spots: valet was awesome, bed was comfortable and location was good Now for the not so good: took me 35 minutes to check in to the hotel because nobody was at the front desk at night, key card didn’t work 2 nights in a row, bathroom door was broken, dirty rags on sink upon arrival and rest of room was not completely clean

I let management know on site – but I simply could not justify another stay here at this price point, I thought my stay would be nicer If it were cheaper and a 2 star hotel would totally get it Has a ton of potential – hopefully owners get some staff to help out as it seemed like the staff was overworked

Selina Garces

I stayed here with my now-husband the nights before and of our elopement day in WA Salish Lodge & Spa provided the most incredible lodging experienceBefore arrival – I received text messages from our “personal assistant” at Salish who responded to my questions about my particular reservations

Upon arrival – excellent complimentary valet (one car per room) and bellhop service with timely delivery of our belongings to our room The complimentary welcome cocktail at the front desk was delicious and comparable to a cocktail you’d receive at a bar!During our stay – we ordered the romance package for our stay – they provided new rose petals and bottles of champagne each night of our stay! We booked this online and in advance when we booked the room – hassle free! We booked a room with a view and had a nice view of the waterfall once you stepped out onto the balcony! The Dining Room – one of the restaurants My goodness, just an incredible experience We made reservations through Open Table about a month in a half in advance where we noted that we wanted a table by the window with a view of the waterfall as it would be our last meal together before husband-and-wife The host was very friendly and escorted us to a private room with one table and 3 windows for walls with views of the trees and waterfall! The service was also excellent and the food was delicious! The location – you feel like you’re in a remote destination with a picturesque waterfall overlook just feet away from your hotel The town was less than 5 minutes drive where you have access to local shops and restaurantsOverall, you pay a pretty penny for a high quality, unique, local experience I would stay here again to celebrate an anniversary or special occasion, as well as recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience in the area

Aaron Taylor

One of my most favorite spots on Washington An incredible Lodge for staying a few nights Upscale with spectacular service

Spa is amazing but book early! Along with it the Dining room is a great place for Brunch or for Dinner Highly recommend making a reservation early here tooFinally there is the wonderful fall Of course familiar to those who know Twin Peaks, even if you don’t please visit and take the time to just take this spectacular waterfallAlso of note is you can walk down to the base via a 1/2 mile hike Not a hard hike but note it’s a fairly steep grade and can be a challenge to get up for some There are many places to rest though which is good

Mark Melsness

Absolutely one of the most incredible getaways I’ve had in my lifetime My lady and I had the best room service and the most spectacular view We ate a magnificent meal at the restaurant and I highly recommend the pork chop

As you can see end your meal with both the Raspberry cheesecake and the chocolate smore Mixing them together is is The Secret Don’t forget to take the stroll down to the river’s edge and get the romantic photos We also had the evening in the hot tub with the fireside massage We will definitely be back soon and I recommend you do the same

Stayed at this hotel with family of 4 for a few nights The hotel seems new and modern with clean rooms and public areas Service from staff was also good

Breakfast was your standard hot and cold mix, not much variety day to day but sufficient to get you going in the morning (eggs, sausage or ham, baked goods, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and waffles$12 per day for parking resulted in minus 1 star 🌟Really good location that is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the State park!Would recommend and would stay again!

Our room was spacious and beautiful Why 1 star? The tub drained slow for me Then it wouldn’t drain for my husband

There was still half a tub of water in it in the morning The toilet stopper wouldn’t go down We had to manually push it down These are major issues that housekeeping should have noticed We seriously wonder if housekeeping was doing its job! Why didn’t we ask for a room change? It was late and we were tired The next morning, we told the front desk They were sorta apologetic but didn’t offer any compensation We typically stay in Hilton brand hotels Over the years, we had two issues at Hilton brand hotels: air conditioning condensate dripped into our bathroom from the room above and the front desk didn’t check my id before telling me my room number (happened that there were 2 guests with the same last name and he gave me the key to the wrong room) When we told the front desk, we were either compensated with points or a reduced rate I wrote a letter to Marriott corporate, asking for compensation with points They referred it to the hotel All we got was an email This is only the 2nd Marriott brand hotel we have stayed in Both had customer service issues I think we will stick with Hilton brand hotels

My husband was told there was parking available for our truck and enclosed trailer We had traveled from Idaho with our infant and exhausted The only parking at the hotel was an oversized parking for one vehicle on the side of the building and it was occupied by a truck that looked like it could fit in their parking garage

They told him to park at the business across the street but had to move it at 8am , if that oversized parking wasn’t available again he would have to drive around looking for a spot where it wouldn’t be towed Mind you, we had been driving for about 11 hours already and got In around 8pm or so I asked them where is he suppose to park, they said they didn’t know, but everyone leaves in the morning so the oversized spot should be available We get to our room and the shower wasn’t cleaned There was a clump of hair on the wall of the shower, we were so tired We put the baby down to sleep , showered and laid down Husband couldn’t even relax in the morning because he had to move our truck and trailer, and the one oversized parking they mentioned was still occupied He ended up having to park at one of the shopping stores down the block If I wasn’t there to help with our son and keep him in the room, my husband would of had to load up our son and drive around aimlessly looking for a spot and then walk all the way back to the hotel with himBreakfast was great, had free wifi and they gave $40 credit back for the hairNice restaurant across the hotel that does dine in, take out and delivery

We had a convention here and they were really lovely to work with The rooms were comfortable and the amenities were wonderful They’re meeting rooms are easy to find and nicely set up

The only reason it got four stars instead of five was it was really hot Not sure if they just didn’t have the air conditioning up or if it wasn’t strong enough I would definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful place But for all the luxuries and high prices you don’t even get a microwave… and a full breakfast is $20 a person So if like us, you go shopping for your food I hope you like it about as warm as a dead seagull

(Update) I reached out and didn’t get far, the site crashed Not sure why that’s necessary anyway because the issue I had was plainly laid out in the review, and I SERIOUSLY doubt they’d give me any sort or refund or discount

When I booked this the pictures of the rooms looked great but I realized that they were a little misleading When we got to our room the room was at 77 degrees and the thermostat said it was set to 65 Called the front desk and they weren’t super helpful just said someone would come by and check it out in a few

The walls were super dirty and the room was smelly the bathroom was dirty and there was mold around the tub Wouldn’t stay here again Not worth the money that was paid

Very Clean Great bar and restaurant Only complaint is that the west side of hotel has much more road noise than the east side

The wall air conditioning unit was noisy but no more than most units just too bad it was not a different quieter system Have stayed here twiceUpdate Came back again as we tried to stay at the Ramada across the street the following week and what a nightmare luckily we were able to get into this hotel and again it was fantastic especially since we got the east side of the buildingMy only concern is that during this third stay I am starting to see stains on the carpets Yes I am a bit of a neat freak but I am willing to pay for clean

We stay here for work all the time The hotel itself is really nice! Super clean and the rooms are spacious The hotel has a great pool and a workout room as well as a bar/restaurant and seating area in the lobby

Great hot breakfast options including someone that makes omelettes as well as other hot breakfast items The staff is super nice and will bring you a cup of coffee if they don’t have any made Easy access to the highway and probably 10 minutes from the SeaTac airport It’s right next to South Center which has a lot of restaurants and shopping opportunities Highly recommend!

Great experience in this hotel Can enjoy the lake sitting on the sofa The sofa can accomadate 4 people, 2 each side

Great for close friends to have a talk, play card games, drink cups of cocktails and enjoy the night The room feels clean and fresh The swimming pool is comfortable The restaurant give me the opportunity to have a great brunch sitting on the patio just next to the lake Will definitely stay at this place again next time I go to Seattle

This hotel is probably optimal for Boeing visitors but the location is terrible for anyone else Rooms are fine but I paid extra for a partial lake view

I could only see the lake looking sideways very close to the window This is rip-off I requested room service and the bed was made, but the room and bathroom were only partially cleaned Last, nothing to do around No decent restaurant walking distance (the only good one is closed half week) The lake shore walk is pretty nice though

I love the Hyatt Regency at Lake Washington It’s always a pleasure staying here The rooms are very clean, the staff amazing and very helpful

The location is close to various restaurants and shopping opportunities at The Landing and a movie theater is also at The Landing Lake Washington is right outside the North side of the hotel and a park with access to the lake is available to the public Amenities are available upon request The restaurant food looks great and is on the high side price wise I’m looking forward to trying it on my next visit Update will be posted after I have a meal there!

The rooms are fairly basic I was given a ground floor, no view room near service entrance And I was staying 3 nights

AND I am a Gold Hilton Honors member For an airport hotel a 3 night stay deserves a better room Also only one half a toilet paper roll left when i arrived That said staff was friendly and very helpful The GM can always be seen pitching in and is always around I like that Basically if I had had a nicer room with natural light and a view of anything besides a dumpster I would have given a better review Again slightly expensive for the room On par for expectations for everything else

Jazzlynn Garrett

The rooms are clean and comfy The hotel is massive, and we were not told how to get to our rooms It was a tad difficult to find your room unless you are aware that there is a building one and two

We also ordered food from the restaurant It took over an hour and a half, we were told it would take 25 min We ordered one medium pork chop to go It was a bummer because it was cooked well But nonetheless it tasted delicious

Kera B

We just needed a room to sleep in until our flight the next morning and this was the closestThe hotel lobby and dining area were absolutely beautiful, so I had high hopes for our room Boy, was I wrong

First of all, the room literally smelled like cat litter and old cigarettes It was nauseating Secondly, there was no free breakfast offered, and any food from the restaurant connected to it was so overpriced it should be an actual crimeThe bathroom door was one of those barn doors that slides from side to side As in, there’s no real privacy The whole bathroom looked like a bathroom in an rvThe beds and pillows were okay at bestIf you’ve got time to find a better hotel I’d highly suggest it This one is not worth the $200+ a night

2nd stay at this hotel First time was great This time found some issues

The night stands were very dusty We wondered if the place has been cleaned at all Used roll of toilet paper remained We expect new roll for new guests Plus health issue from used roll? The washing basin sink was draining very slowly Possibly clogged The room gets service every 3 days Our room was done on the 3rd day, but no spare toilet paper left in the room We had to call the service for spare roll because it was almost out Surprised the staff did not notice there was no spare rolls Also had to call for body lotion None found in the room We booked a 1 bedroom studio by mistake They gave us a handicapped room The shower curtain was too high from the floor resulting in lots of water splashes outside The towel on the ground was all wet and slippery after each shower They should lower the curtain to minimize the splashes

Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I hated my room will explain more in detailParking is $9 a night (not terrible in comparison to Seattle)

Breakfast, which had good breakfast sandwiches and unlimited coffee (that was delicious) was a huge plus the dining/bar area was nice (though the bar never opened during the 4 days I was there) and there is outdoor seating which is great to hang out at in the eveningFitness center is small but nice with new equipment (treadmills and elliptical s) and weights and the laundry room was nice as wellBring a sound machine or sleep headphones (I travel with mine) bc the walls are thin and you can hear everythingand I mean everything)Kate at the front desk was wonderful and got me into my room super early I was put in room 201, which is incredibly far from both sets of elevators (not a problem) The room itself was spacious and spotless, but I was so disappointed to open the windows to see that I had a view of a retaining wall I had to crank my neck up just to see the trees and no direct sunlight either which sucks since I was there for 4 daysThe biggest problem was that you are up against the retaining wall AND I had a drain near my window there were bugs, spiders, gnats, beetles, moths all over the damn place and while the windows are sealed (you can’t open them,) they are able to enter the room through cracks and also where your ac vents out I woke up every night with bites, bugs and spiders in the bed and even (accidently) stepped on two beetles in the middle of the night during my stayThere was even a iguana or lizard of some kind on my windowthank goodness it didn’t get inside overall, I would stay here again (on a higher floor), just know that the most of odd numbered rooms on the second floor have that view as well (if I had to guess rooms 201 -219 (odd numbers only) have that same view avoid room 201 if you can

The hotel was nothing special It was as expected for a residence inn Odd that I had to pay a parking fee of $7ish for the night

There was someone parked in the handicap without a handicap placard/plate The parking spots were tight too The hotel itself was quiet Room was by an elevator, but didn’t notice any noise The room could have used some maintenance A tile was off in the bathroom and the closet door had a spring that was out I don’t think the room was fully wiped down as there were crumbs over by the stove The breakfast was hot with the traditional fare of eggs, meat, oatmeal, and pastries Was just in for the evening and it was a good location

Nice small hotel, clean, friendly staff but not enough due to labor shortage I believe The manager is proactive The swimming pool is small and was closed during my visit

Walking distance to Microsoft Breakfast good enough The room was clean with enough towels but giving on the parking lot even at the second floor so plan accordingly Would recommend

EDIT: The owner responded to this review saying they had contacted me and had offered me Marriott points That never happened

I was never contacted nor offered pointsQuite frustrated with my experience with this service I had made adjustments online to my reservations and apparently they did not go through or I made some kind of mistake I was charged for a room that I never stayed in and the front desk person I spoke to was quite rude & condescending saying that he couldn’t give me any kind of refund on the 1 night I was charged although I had the next night still booked I needed to stay there 2 nights so I asked to add an additional night and he wanted to charge me $270 when my original amount was $135 He told me because they were at capacity they couldn’t help me at all with a refund or honoring my original booking price I ended up cancelling the entire reservation I was surprised by the level of service as it was the worst I have received at any Marriott (I am a platinum member and have traveled on a monthly basis for the last 8 years) Definitely unfortunately it seemed like there was no attempt to “make things rights”

A few things that added up over time–I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they’re short staffed but you do NOT get daily house keeping and have to opt to call for housekeeping For a 5 night stay, we were offered one day’s worth of housekeepingYou must call to get towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc

, and when calling at 9:30 am, the girl seemed unsure if she’d be able to get me towels and said the “house man has been cleaning for a while, he should be able to bring you them” to which he did, but it still felt like an odd thing to say The next morning, we had to go to the front desk to get towels and wash cloths because there was no housekeeper onBeing in a nice area, this situation seemed extremely odd for a Marriott owned hotel and again I don’t know if this is due to being short staffed but you pay for a hotel expecting the entire experience, not to check in and THEN be told they barely have housekeeping and you should take out your own trash and leave it at the door by 10 amI’m also not sure if this is a Washington thing as I’ve never been charged for parking at a hotel, but being charged $8 a night for parking and then having to scour the parking lot for a spot is absolutely outrageous My sister has a disability and people were parking in handicap spots with no handicap stickers They have an “overflow” lot which our room was a good walk away and having to walk from there at 1 am by myself after paying for parking is ridiculousThe room is clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff friendly, but overall kind of a bizarre hotel experience that we weren’t expectinglikely due to corporate and nothing to do with in-hotel staff
