Mau Ptr

I had past a fantastic vacation in W hotel, thanks to the view and great staff3 subways station and more are close to the W We are a front of the One Word Trade Center, Oculus and Memorial

Very good emplacement and quiet placeOne problem, my room was not very clean, under my bedside table I found bottle and Starbucks cup That all

Crimson Legacy

Absolutely wonderful location, helpful staff, beautiful interior, unique vibes, and very clean and well-maintained rooms Amazing views of World Trade Center OneThe only downside was no mini fridge so we had to use the ice bucket to try to keep a couple drinks cold at a time

The staff at the front desk at all times of day and night were wonderfulTIP IF STAYING HERE: This is no longer a “W” hotel and has lost its association with Marriott It is now a “Washington” Go to where the “The Washington” light is projected on the sidewalk, walk in the automated doors, then go up the elevators next to the bar Take them to the 5th floor That is where the lobby is Hope that’s helpful

Camilo Baratto

Not great While I knew it was not the “W” you realize quickly there is lots of make-up behind a regular sub par hotel No hand soap while I stayed there and nothing to substitute it

Finally I managed to negotiate body wash (facepalm) While in NYC one would appreciate baggage storage… none availableA hotel management graduate is desperately needed at this establishmentWhile reception is nice and try their best, the staff have no clue what industry they are operating You can tell quickly that the lack of re-investment will make this place obsoleteVer disappointed, lugging my carry on for 3 hours until I catch my flight Was looking forward to biking around but this hotel has made this impossible

My fiance and I went to New York to have a short getaway We had reservations for the standard king room at the Conrad from April 8-10 of 2022 We like staying in great hotels and eating at great restaurants

The Conrad exceeded every expectation that we had The excellent service started with the Valet service and continued up until we departed The room was well worth the money I would highly recommend We will definitely without a doubt be staying here again The shower was separate from the toilet and sink The pressure of the water in the shower was fantastic so much in that I got lost in time while showering Valet parking for 2 days was only $65 which was well below what we were expecting to pay, so another excellent aspect of staying there Had a living room, privacy doors in the living room and bedroom Full stock mini bar, water filtration system, safe, touch everything

Catherine Bronson

We had an excellent stay here The rooms are well-appointed and the staff is friendly and outgoing They are attentive to all of the details which make for an exceptional stay

I’d want to especially thank Darwin, who worked the front desk, for going above and beyond several times during our stay He was exceedingly personable and even called over to their sister property in order to make sure our room was ready The staff here was nothing short of amazing Thank you!

Qiana Ross

Wonderful stay!! Place is beautiful, location is perfect for families needing more space than standard room The staff is exceptional, everyone we encountered was friendly and courteous, especially to a precious 5 yoDoris was very sweet and accommodating

She went above and beyond helping us celebrate a birthday and wedding anniversary Next time we are in the city, we are booking there again!

Gracie Hinojos

Beautiful hotel!!! The view was amazing!! Such a great area to be because the subway, stores and restaurants are very close The 9/11 memorial is visible from the hotel It wasn’t very expensive considering the location, how pretty the hotel is and that it’s New York

The staff are very friendly The hotel is very safe when you go late at night they ask you to show hotel keys to make sure you are actually a guest there which I find very reassuring The food at the hotel is very expensive instead go out for breakfast I recommend Stage Door Delicatessen which is right by the hotel! Amazing food, staff and environment!!!

Stayed in the Junior suite back in May Hotel view/location is incredible Overall the room themselves are nice, but a little outdated

The carpet definitely could have been replace or deep cleaned Lots and lots of stains and even one spot that was gooey/sticky Stepping on it by accident in the middle of the night was not great Our hotel room was NOT well cleaned when we arrived On top of the carpet being gross, there was still puke on the underside of the toilet seat, and a false eyelash stuck to the counter We brought it to the attention of the staff They said they would send someone to clean it the next day, but was still not thoroughly cleaned I ended up cleaning up the mess myself with a towel and some water Not ideal I gave this 3 stars because I really loved the view and location It was truly phenomenal but the cleanliness was just not on par with the price we paid

Kathryn Wheeler

I had a wonderful experience at Millennium! The front desk staff was lovely and made checking in a breeze, even when we decided last minute to stay another night and checked back in at midnight The rooms are clean and comfortable The location is phenomenal — close to shops, landmarks, and subway stops to get you anywhere you need to go

Convenience, comfort, and hospitality aside, the standout reason to stay here is definitely the views from the rooms, which are absolutely out of this world You can see the Hudson, the skyline across the river, a bird’s eye view of the amazing architecture of downtown NYC What more can you ask for?Note: It wasn’t an issue for me & my companion, just be aware that the regular room types don’t have mini fridges

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any resort They compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be let downIt’s a great hotel: comfortable, neat and classy The pool is nice and not especially crowded; a great place for a kiddo to blow off some steam The staff was friendly and graciously listened to my daughter try to check in her giant stuffed dragon to our room with us

victoria tague

I used the Westin hotel as my wedding room block for my January wedding Gary and his staff were amazing I must have sent multiple emails checking on my block and adding rooms, and everything was always answered and done quickly and promptly

Everything I requested for my room was there when I checked in Myself, and my bridesmaids were able to all get ready in my room They did not require you to use the hotel catering, so I ordered coffee from the hotel, and breakfast from an outside vendor All my guests were comfortable in their rooms, hotel bags were delivered timely The hotel was clean, modern, up to date All staff was welcoming and helpful from bell service to cleaning service to requesting a late check out I would recommend this hotel for any future bride looking for a room block or to stay their as a guest

Drjr

Amazing experience Great view Great staff

Room was in great conditions The only person that seemed a little upset was the lady cleaning the pool area She seemed like she wanted to go home and we were the reason holding her back Asked for a towel and she made me feel like i was asking her for her first born Besides that, every staff member I met ANYWHERE in the hotel treated my family and I like we were Royalty Definitely staying here againBeds: A+Restaurants: A+Pool: A+Staff A+

I booked 3 rooms, got them on the same floor I wiped everything with my Clorox wipes and was happy to see no dirt or even dust! The bartender was nice, the restaurant was closed off but kitchen was still open, we ordered food and ate by the bar The location was great, restaurants in walking distance and the train to NYC was nearby too which is where we spent most of the days

Beds were super comfy…my toddler and infant slept well and my parents and in laws stated they slept comfortably Overall good experience here and will book again when visiting

Marianna Mansour

Had to book a block of rooms for several directors for a corporate offsite nearby Karen was very nice and accommodating Everyone was very impressed with their rooms

It was much more than they were expecting I liked my waterfront view, the comfy bed, and the amenities They even offered extending our rate to others outside our company who had to meet us in town Karen even followed up to make sure we were happy Service was excellent!

Jenn Q

Our stay was mostly pleasant My biggest complaint is that two of the elevators need to be serviced The sensors do not work

For most of our stay we dealt with the doors closing on us as we walked in, but we dealt with it because it bumped either my husband or myself But when our four year old was pushed down into the elevator and onto the floor because the door began to close on her, that was not okay Thankfully I was able to put my arm and leg in to prevent the elevator from completely closing on her feet I reported it to the front desk They were apologetic and said they would have someone come out and service the elevator We checked out that same day, so I’m not sure if it actually happened Our room was okay We didn’t use the sofa bed because it was worn and looked like it needed to be replaced The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly There was a lot of dust and a used Q-tip on the shelf underneath the sink where our “clean” towels were The shelf clearly had not been wiped in a while Thankfully, I always travel with Lysol wipes and Lysol spray I cleaned that area and we asked for a clean set of towels Would I stay here again, I’m not sure It would depend on if the elevators were actually fixed The other issues were manageable

Te-Sheng Lin

A very nice and clean Marriott hotel with friendly staff It locates 5 minutes away from the famous South Street Seaport which has transformed itself into a relaxing cafe/bar/restaurant district with the beautiful East river & Brooklyn Bridge view This hotel doesn’t have executive lounge and free breakfast for the elites but you can prepay breakfast for $20 per person (you can also use the elite welcome F&B $10 credit per day )

During our stay, the bathroom sink faucet had splashing issue and the engineer came but without success The thing got worse, we had no hot water in the sink after Other than this minor issue, the overall experience was pleasant and enjoyable I highly recommend this hotel and I’ll definitely revisit this place again

Valeria Donoghue

This property is located Downtown by Pier 17 Perfect location for dinners and going out for drinks Beautiful sunsets and above all, I felt super safe walking around late at night

The staff working at the hotel is super friendly and helpful Sheets and pillows are clean and don’t have funky smells like other hotels in NYC Will definitely come back and recommend

Stormy Rosebud

The customer service here was off the charts! Max, the concierge that helped us the most, allowed us to check in early, took the time to show us our best travel options and give suggestions for what we might want to see, and even kept our luggage past our check-out time to help accommodate us between check-out and our departing flight! He was seriously the best! The room was not huge but very clean, house keeping is available by request due to covid, the area felt safe, and the location was perfect for everything we were looking to do!

Always a great place to stay during my trip to the big Apple! The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful Always trying to make sure our needs are met The front desk is always going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated

Minus one star for the cleanliness of the rooms (not very consistent), but everything else is great!

Shereen

Service was awful (or racist) When I arrived I pulled into valet and was told to park across the street in the garage I told the attendant I don’t want my car in a garage its a brand new MB, I would like it valeted

He proceeded to tell me it’s cheaper, which it was not the sign said $50 for the garage and $45 for valet (it was The Fourth of July)I proceed to the front desk to check in and I would like to change the card on file I was asked “if I have enough money on my card” before switching cards how insulting!! I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be staying “if there wasn’t enough money on my card”My husband and I decide to bike on the Hudson then dine on the patio for lunch where the two host did not greet us but gave the nastiest look at me from my feet up to my head! After being seated my husband asked the gentleman was there an issue and he said “oh my friend wasn’t supposed to be at the host stand so we were just making a joke for him to go back to work” I lost my appetite after the third strike and left the restaurantI only stayed one night to enjoy the fireworks with my husband and endured all this chaos on americas holiday I guess I received the true American experience The only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars is because of the cleanliness of the room and the location

Haydynn Fike

I was stopping in to use the living room as I have stayed at some W properties before and I was just looking to get some coffee and do some work They were filming a movie at the restaurant and coffee wasn’t available Joanne was at the front desk, and she offered to get me a cup of coffee and wouldn’t let me pay for it

As someone who also works for Marriott, we can use more like her Thanks Joanna! Can’t wait to stay the night at your property

I can’t say enough good things about this place The staff was super nice and it’s such a cute place The only bad thing is that if have plans to see the city you might end up staying in because there’s so much fun stuff to do inside the hotel

There are games and a basketball court inside the hotel The room was really clean and comfortable It’s NYC small but my kid loved the swing chair and the view was great It’s also steps from ground zero, a 5 minute walk It’s near the train so you can get anywhere

Manuel Schindler

Clean hotel, however rooms are quite small There is no cupboard Fine for a shorter stay but tricky if you’re staying for a week

They have provided me with additional hangers which was helpfulThe safe in my room wasn’t working Engineer came and attempted to fix it, but it never got fixed Even went down to reception to inquire but nothing was done Got a note which said “changed batteries, DO NOT use safe” Not very helpfulYou only get room service once Requested for additional which never happened eitherOverall its clean but overrated in my opinion and very disappointed with the service

Ranvir Sahota

Our stay at the Moxy was above and beyond what we expected especially considering how affordable the rooms are They had no problem allowing us to check in early which is rare for most hotelsThe rooms are a little smaller but we didn’t plan on spending too much time in the rooms so it wasn’t an issue

The bar has a great vibe and the bartenders were very niceI want to give a special shoutout to Ralph with bell hop He went out of his way to make our stay special Ralph took care of everything we needed and checked on us each time we ran into each other

I had a 2 queen bed room – there was too much noise at night – family members in adjoining room/hallway talking too loud until 2AM I called the front desk and they sent security to resolve it Should have called front desk sooner

Hotel is nice and modern looking and safe Parking just behind the hotel Swimming pool looked a bit small – gym looked good Fancy seating area in lobby Located just in front of mall, train station and the harbor I understand there is limited room service but didn’t matter for 1 night

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be disappointedI stayed here for 5 nights during my winter vacation to New York City Everything in the hotel was perfect The building and the room were clean and new The breakfast was amazing and had good prices The customer service was excellent I will be back from now on when I visit New York

Marybeth Kobland

We had the king with a pull out bed It wasn’t awful but if you can afford the $10 extra for two beds, do it, the pull out just isn’t comfortable The staff was so friendly and helpful especially at the reception and bar

The location is the best because it’s right next to the PATH station that takes you right into NYC You do have to pay for parking, but it was worth it

The location is great (close to NYC public transit and never more than 1 min wait for a ride share when needed) The free parking is clutch! The free breakfast was better than expected (delicious pastries, bananas, yogurt, juice, coffee) The front desk was friendly and helpful

The only downside was the smell of the room, which otherwise was perfectly fine and comfortable If the room smelled better it would be a 5 star little gem of a place in Jersey CIty!

Shishteres Sheshutes

The location was good, quick and safe walk to the subway to NYC but very loud from the street next to the hotel Construction and traffic was going on all night Had small breakfast which was great

Loved front desk staff, really nice and helpful Didn’t like the smell in the hotel, it was outdated but pretty clean I saw a few ants in the room which I didn’t like Hotel was kind of loud too, couldn’t really sleep Some other guests were screaming, someone walking in the hallway constantly Some weird water dripping noise They let keep my car parked longer than check in/out time

Our experience here was fabulous from start to finish! The ambiance and decor is gorgeous very modern and chic There was lots of local art and very nice finishing touches all the way from the front door to our room The entrance was beautiful and a is a mini sitting room where you’ll find an elevator that takes you up to the Lobby floor

You will be wowed with a large open spacious floor plan It is a well decorated and designed lobby with tons of seating and outlets and local art that adds to the art district aesthetic They also have a beautiful bar where they do local food and beverage tastings from 5pm to 6pm This location is extremely pet friendly and you’d never know it because of how fancy and clean the place looks We had a great experience with the front desk attendant Angie she was very kind and very attentive and helpful with any and all questions I had The room had updated smart lighting systems with gorgeous decor the bathroom was very clean, modern and nice (like in the lobby) The building itself didn’t have a view of the NYC skyline but it’s wonderfully centrally located next to the water, the path (which takes you right into NYC), Restaurants and other fun things Jersey city has to offer I think it’s wonderful that they also have the white fox electric scooter rentals at the entrance of the building and the hotel itself offers two free bike rentals with helmets for guests to use during their stay They really have thought of what seems like everything I will be HIGHLY recommending this location to anyone looking to stay in or near Jersey City Keep up the great work Canopy and never stop improving people like me will keep coming back!

Amy Hudnall

Had to get a hotel last minute due to an emergency and this was a great choice Only sad my stay wasn’t longer Really wonderful staff from the front desk to the restaurant

Everything was CLEAN and the design was very thoughtful for the guest use Great shower, comfy bed and pillows and quiet rooms Had a delish bowl of veggie soup from the restaurant Very safe as you need a key to get to your floor Pet friendly!

I had a lovely few couple of days hereThe area: great and safe, lots of food places and small shops There is a big wahlgreens open 24/7 just 3 minute walk away

The train (path) Station is literally 1 minute walk away and within 15 minutes you will reach the world trade centerThe hotel: the rooms are very clean and modern/up to date, the bathroom is lovely Daily cleaning service as well as a robe, slippers, towels, and shampoo providedThe lobby and restaurant area is lovely, I could easily spend a couple hours there just enjoying the vibeThe staff were very helpful and welcoming Truly great serviceThe only reason why I am giving a 4 star review instead of 5 is because the breakfast was disappointing Paid $20 per person and they did not provide any bacon or scrambled eggs, apparently that is only included on weekends so we basically had to pay more to get a side of that Apart from this everything was lovelyI can definitely recommend this hotel, we will book a stay here for our next new york visit

Stayed four nights at this property in late July and it exceeded expectations Smooth check-in, friendly and helpful front desk staff Was expecting a tiny room based on other reviews, however the two-double room we received on the seventh floor was clean, bright and spacious (especially by NYC standards)

Free breakfast was great, with plenty of options and staff worked hard to keep supplies stocked Location-wise, staying in the Seaport district is a great alternative if you want to get away from the midtown hustle and bustle It’s a short walk up Fulton or John Street to multiple subway lines, and the area around the hotel makes for a great home base Cannot recommend this property enough

I have read the latest reviews and I must admit that I was worried about what the stay at the hotel would be like But in the end, it turned out, again, that the loudest are always the critics, who would like to have everything gilded and brought to their feet The most negatives appeared between December and February – but there was a wave of omicron everywhere in the world and a huge number of employees were “caught” at home in quarantines, including their risky contacts

Our stay in March was already going well, at the reception always 1-2 employees, the rooms cleaned daily, at breakfast also 2 employees did a fantastic job Breakfast was pleasant from 7 to 10 o’clock, the staff tried to do their best The selection was quite limited, but there was an effort to offer a slightly different combination each day There were about cyclically 3 types of warm sandwiches, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, 2 types of omelette, bacon, turkey sausages Every day there were waffles (need to “make” yourself from the dough machine), a selection of yogurts, some fruit, coffee and tea Hot water and coffee in a thermos were then available throughout the day and night A little advice for breakfast critics – yes, if you sleep by 9 o’clock and come for breakfast at 930 – then you can expect that there will not be much to choose from The best time is around 7:30, on Monday there is a delivery of food supplies, so the staff prepares everything a little later And on Sunday, some supplies of food variants are already missing Another piece of advice for critics – if something is missing, ask for it! I felt like I had a bad dream when the hot water ran out and half the dining room sat upset and waited for a miracle I was the only one who approached the staff and in 2 minutes a new batch of hot water was delivered Sandwiches were missing, I asked for them, they were in a minute, tea was missing, I told the staff, they arranged immediately Coffee was missing in the afternoon or evening, wasn’t there a tea bag? I told the receptionist, and he immediately brought everything from the kitchen Unlike the angry guests who came and left immediately when something was missing They won’t bother to tell anyone about it As for the room – above standard NY size I would be interested in the size of the suitcases, which according to some reviews do not fit into the room – we got 3 spread out on the ground The hotel is in the downtown financial district so somehow you can’t expect anything other than a view from the window to the wall next door, or to the wall a bigger piece next door, or to the wall across the street But it’s NY, not the Mexican Riviera with the necessary sunset views Everything worked in the room, I agree that the heating is noisier, but you could get used to it The advantage is that you can set any temperature at any time and not everything is centrally controlled as in other hotels Overall, it was a very good destination – the week’s stay ran away quickly

Excellent for a mid budget hotel Nothing luxurious but perfectly fine A minority of their rooms have a city view – if you can get one I’d recommend it, otherwise you face a blank wall and the rooms can be a bit dark

Rooms are clean and not huge – I had a king bed room and there was very little room to walk around But that was absolutely fine, and the bathroom is surprisingly spaciousService was excellent, very accommodating The breakfasts were also great – big thanks to the helpful staff I’d you like to be in midtown each day it can take a while to travel but the hotel’s area is also vibrant, yet refreshing calmer than most of manhattan, with both very new eateries as well as a few relics of a romantically dingy past tooRecommended!

If you’re looking for a great experience getaway, definitely consider Collective Governors Island  It is a bit pricy but where else can you camp under the stars in NYC with a one-of-a-kind view of The Statue of Liberty, Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Jersey City all at the same time!   There is plenty to do and explore on Governors Island for a 2-night stay and the views never get old  I’ve lived in NYC for 30 years and even I was impressed

The staff was great – friendly, attentive, and very helpful

I’ve been here twice The first with my spouse in October 2021 It was warm and the end of the season

We had perfect weather, atmosphere, food and drinks It was romantic and lovely Except for the noise from what seemed like innumerable helicopters, I was so impressed that I recommended the trip to my close group of girlfriends and booked in November for a trip in early May They had just opened for the season The weather was horrible thoughThe tent and bathroom facilities were fine as before The staff did their best to keep us dry and warm but the wind was so strong, we thought we’d end up floating on the river in the tent It stayed intact and dry inside however coldThe food was delicious though there was a limited menu I assume because it was so early in the season The chicken and fish were great Grilled mushrooms and carrot confit were fabulous The beef though tasty was overcooked The weather made everything get cold quickly however The staff was indeed young and sometimes their inexperience showed but they did try to be accommodating A special shoutout to Ms Pam who was especially kind and attentive to usAs a final note, I recommend that you take advantage of their bad weather cancellation policy and reschedule for good weather Otherwise, I will go back again later in the season and only in good weather

We stayed here for a week in early July and had such a great experience Location is PERFECT It’s great to leave the busy city and head over to Jersey City and it is just more relaxing

Very nice neighborhood around the hotel with great little restaurants, wine/beer stores, etc Views of Manhattan from the pier can’t be beat, literally right as you step out of the front door Very easy trip to WTC from the PATH station across the little public square Staff were nice and very accommodating We were a day late because of 3 canceled flights and they still saved our room for us Check in was a little confusing as you have to go to the top floor rather than checking in at the lobby downstairs but there is always someone downstairs to assist I will definitely be staying here of we’re ever in the area again

Overall our 1 week stay in this hotel was satisfactory The staff were very accommodating and friendly throughout the full week, especially when we requested to move rooms after our first sleepless night due to the light train / tram outside that runs loudly every 4 minutes so be vary of this if you’re a light sleeper The breakfast food was okay, we’re not fussy eaters so we were happy enough with the selection, but I would question the use of paper plates and plastic cutlery that cannot cut bacon or butter toast – perhaps it’s covid regulation, but it seems very wasteful nonetheless

The views are spectacular and the hotel is within near walking distance of the Path Station to NY and the ferry to Liberty Park Overall we were happy with our stay, there were a few cons here and there but nothing you wouldn’t get in most hotels around the world

I’ll start at the end It was a good sleep However, I checked in and received 501

The whole floor smelled like NYC sewers The room actually smelled worse It was also facing the back of another building, some world viewAnyway, the housekeeper said people cook in the rooms No way she really believed that but I decided to proceed to front desk Right away they knew and changed my room without hassle However, I don’t expect hassle when I book I expect a good experience all the way through Who knows what health hazards I exposed myself to?The food menu looked like a kids menu for the Department of Education Minds as well rough the cold or go to the booked out restaurant attachedMy new room bathroom door would swing because the lower track was missing It was a sliding door The walls were thin so it appeared someone else was opening your door but it was really the adjacent roomThe outlets in the room were so worn out I had to charge my computer phone and camera one at a timeDefinitely won’t be returning but happy to say it’s not because of the customer service, just a very unpleasant hotel stay I should add pictures but I wrote enoughIf you’re a traveler, beware The best thing is the nondescript 20th floor You all should put a heater on the balcony

When we first got there the room and floor had a funny smell to it, but it went away once the room got aired out a bit I would definitely stay here again! The beds, bathroom, and room were clean The beds were comfortable

The staff was very helpful/accommodating and they even kept our bags for a few hours after checkout so we didn’t have to carry them around with us all day The location of this hotel is also convenient if you want to travel around by bike because it is very easy access to the Hudson River Greenway

Beaverus
