Stayed 1 night on my own on late notice, everything went smoothly Room was very nice and well designed, two sides divided by a wall with the bed on one half and seating area on the other Room was clean, bed was comfy, towels etc provided

Didn’t take advantage of breakfast or pool but they are provided Great location situated between PNC Park and Heinz Field as well as the nearby Warhol Art Museum Would stay again!

Mike Bell

Staff was great Breakfast was good hot food and all the muffins, bagels, fruits, cerals you could want I like the room layout with office, sitting area and divider between bed and rest

If I had to want more it would be that the room is little loud You can hear next door showers and AC is quite loud, may just be that it was very hot that day Killer spot if you are going to game Price was fair also I would recommend and stay again for sure Thanks to staff

Cheryl Maggie

Started at check in Was told my card would be charge a temporary hold of like $5 However, card went through on my end for $336

which was fine because that was my total costThe problem was, it did not go through on their end and she wanted to slide my card again Absolutely NOTshe called the manager and they placed $1 hold Was told everything would fall off and would need recharged Wellnothing ever “fell off” and everything was charged Even the extra $1 they charged meThen on to the room No garbage canno paper cups, no stationary or pens Furniture was rough and knicked up Dresser drawers were filthyBed was comfy on a positive noteGot up in the morning to get breakfast around 830 and staff was cleaning the windows in the hall It was horrible Dirt and dust everywhere in the hall and in the air Looks like they hadn’t cleaned in yearsNeedless to say I had reservations there for this weekend and cancelled I will never stay here again

My first stay at a Holiday Inn in a few years, and I gain learned why it had been so long ago Room was clean Heating unit and bath fan were extremely loud and annoying

I measured them at over 65 decibels Outlets were worn out and would not engage charger plugs, lots of hallway noise and noise from the laundry room, and the added bonus of cigarrette smoke drifting in to my room a few times evernight This place is beat up, and the price is not even close to commensurate with the quality of the room I responded to their survey with this and got a lame response that they will use my comments as a coaching session I used to stay exclusively at Holiday Inn and I spend over 50 nights in a hotel per year Over the past 10 years that has changed for me The quality has definitely declined, but the pricing has not I moved to a different hotel that was $2500 less with a much better room Very diappointing

I am a returning customer and both experiences were great I’ve been traveling for work which requires me in Pittsburgh once or twice a month This hotel is situated nicely close to the office and good restaurants

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful Really one of the best crews I’ve seen Valet is excellent as well The interior is beautiful as you can see by the pictures and the rooms are cleanThe beds are surprisingly the most comfortable I’ve experienced Odd to say that, but it’s true Room service is excellentIt’s great experience overall Now in May I’m attempting to travel with family, so we will see how a toddler does I suppose we will see what it’s like not to have a kitchenetteAlso wheelchair friendly and accessible The sidewalk in Pittsburgh are just ok, but that has nothing to do with the hotel!

Matt Smith

Great location in the Cultural District Staff was super polite and helpful Our room was decent

It was clean and the bed was really comfortable But it is in bad need of an update A couple pieces of furniture showed signs of minor damage, there were multiple holes in the drapes, and there was even a small hole in the fitted sheet on the bed And the chair in the room is terribly uncomfortable None of that would keep me from staying here again, but it will cause me to try a different hotel if available

Tracy Kennedy

For the money you pay the services should have been much better Requested extra towels, they never were delivered Reported that the tub was slow today and we were standing in ankle deep water

It never got fixed The rooms are lovely, the lobby is too, but for half the price you can stay at the Courtyard down the street The location at the Courtyard is a little closer to some fun bars and restaurants The Courtyard is a great property

Craig Herrick

While built in the 80’s along with the convention center, our room was comfortable and well maintained I might suggest a splash of color to love Up the dozen shades of beige… the bed is “heavenly”

There could have been a few more plugs People care more electronics than in the 80’s I did notice an odor in the air indicative of a ventilation system in need of cleaning The staff was very friendly in person and by chat The breakfast buffet was decent

Shana Denise

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t be let downVery clean and great service!Easy parking with paid $30 a dayBooked 2 rooms by hotel com A little problems with checkin, but the manager Anthony gave us a great hand We will be back Highly recommended to anyone!

Josiah Kenyon

The hotel is starting to really come together! The new restaurant is open for breakfast (The Factory) and I was very happy with the breakfast bowl and French press – creative and deliciousThe main lobby is gorgeous and open with arguably the best city view you can getThey are still constructing the remainder of the bar/restaurant, so keep that in mind, but over all a really great experience and the staff are all friendly/professional

Latosha Jackson

We have been staying at the Sheraton Station Square for many years I was happy to see the lobby and room/barhroom updates, it was needed The restaurant is still under construction but we rarely ate there when it was open

The shower pressure wasn’t the greatest, but it got us clean The patrons in the halls were loud, but that’s not the hotels fault I didn’t know we weren’t gonna get our room cleaned, but one call and we got new bathroom towels in under 5 minutes The location is convenient and close to lots of things and the views are spectacular We’ve never stayed in an inside room, but this past weekend there were several weddings so I couldn’t image the noise level there

First time staying at the William Penn Lovely, historical downtown area Hotel is very elegant, quite the visual experience! Very quiet, classy atmosphere

Staff was excellent: front desk, valet, bellman, waiters Prompt service all around Room was slightly smaller than expected Both public and private areas were very clean and well maintained Should have upgraded to a city view room as our room was a view of the brick walled building very close next door Room was nicely appointed Would have enjoyed a small chandelier in the closet area, instead of a plain ceiling fixture (The public areas boasted stunning chandeliers!) Bed was very comfortable, soft linens Shower had glorious water pressure! Bath towels were very clean, but stiff Window shades provided excellent blackout for a nice sleep-in of a morning Brunch in The Terrace Room was excellent Nice variety of foods available, excellent waitstaff Beautiful furnishings Disappointed that The Speakeasy closed at 11:00PM on a Saturday night Would have enjoyed a nightcap after our Broadway show Within walking distance of many popular restaurants and venues Felt very safe here Key card entry required for elevators Highly recommend this lovely hotel and would stay again with an upgraded city view room

Trudy Wodinsky

Lovely, historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh Ron Gilbert, the Restaurant Manager, was very attentive to my autistic son’s food and other special needs and was so pleasant — he even stopped by our table to say hello Housekeeping very nice, although it seems you have to make a special request to have your room and beds made up

Sam (that’s a lady!) who took care of our room for several days was attentive to our every need and always asked me what we needed She even taught me how to use that little clothesline in the bathroom! Views aren’t great in some rooms I think you really have to make a special request way in advance to get a better view, which we have in the past All rooms have refrigerators and we were able to get a microwave which was useful Everyone was pleasant and helpful All in all, a very nice stay

Ashley Crawford

Very beautiful hotel The staff were amazing, so kind and quick to help out with everything Loved that they had valet parking

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and spacious The beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water I would have liked to see a few water bottles in the room given the cost but that is not a huge issue It was conveniently close to everything downtown, we stayed for the Pittsburgh marathon The staff were even kind enough to store our luggage after we checked out for a few hours until we were ready to leave the city Overall it was a great experience and I would easily return anytime and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the Pittsburgh area

We really enjoyed this sweet boutique hotel First, the staff was friendly and helpful Front desk was informative and efficient

Housekeeping was quick to respond and rooms were clean Don’t ever lose those great dreads:) and smile(you know who I mean) Second, the valet parking had good communication and service Shout out to Mica I’d trust him with my ride any day Lastly, location Close to exits and walking distance to all the cool things in downtown Pitt They were doing some remodeling but it wasn’t a hassle You are going to rock even more when it is finished! Keep up the good vibes I’ll definitely stay there again when visiting Rock On!!

Gabriella Guadagno

Room was very small, bed was comfortable though Temperature was perfect, the lobby was beautiful very nice decor and wonderful staff There is a beautiful terrace on the 10th floor with an amazing view of the city

It was really in the perfect location, target and LA Fitness was 8 minutes away so it was very convenient The only big issue I had was there was NO parking, I had to leave my car on the street they only had three stops and one of them was for an electric car and handicap The lots are so expensive, 25$ every time to go in and out so parking at meters and leaving my car three blocks away was SUPER annoying and honestly a big deal breaker for meThere is no microwave in the room, but you can use the lobby I am a Graduate student so I had to go down to heat up my food every day which was also annoying My room also did not have a blow dryer, but the front desk would have gave me another one I just never called back The stay was very comfortable, and the hotel was very clean Amazing and friendly staff!!

cam ,

It’s easier to mention what’s bad since most is good First of all, I’ve never ever had a front desk attendant as rude & useless as the accented, bearded, tall black man who checked us in This is not rooted in racism, all the other black employees were incredible

The room was really tiny for a king suite $35 for valet and $25 for self park is absolutely unacceptable, should have a free option of some kind Restaurant/bar wasn’t openPretty clean, location is best in city, rooftop deck was nice Very, very comfy bed Shower was awesome Modern Security was great, felt quite safe Internet was pretty quick Very clean area

BEWARE ABOUT PARKING!I was extremely upset that I was not informed that this hotel doesn’t offer on-site self-parking or valetI drove around the block of the downtown building three times, trying to find the parking lot or valet stand in the rain during rush hour until I called and was informed that there is no parking and to use the public garage off-site; two blocks awayBeing unfamiliar with the city, I unfortunately parked in the wrong garage, even further away, and had to haul multiple heavy bags to the hotel in the pouring rain, four blocks away

The unacceptable parking situation was not disclosed in any of my reservation emails, and I did not receive a courtesy call/message before my arrival informing me where I should park my carNot knowing this information ahead of time made my welcoming stay extremely unpleasant, especially when it was pouring rain and I had dinner reservations right after I checked inI now understand that the hotel does disclose the off-site parking, buried in the app under “what to expect”, then tapping “parking & transit,” then tapping “parking” Even with this, the hotel doesn’t share detailed parking information As this is very uncommon, for a hotel not to have parking or valet, this hotel needs to be upfront about it on the reservation page and send emails, calls/messages informing guests before their arrivalNot to mention, from the nearest garage, you need to walk down a dark stone/brick alleyway, which is not fun/safe, especially at night, as it’s an uneven surface on both the street and the tiny sidewalkIv never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have on-site self or valet parking available If I had known this, I would have never booked this hotel as I needed quick (and dry) access to my carOn the bright side, the room was clean & comfortable, even with the small entryway, which made bringing in multiple big bags a bit annoying

George Raposa

Hotel has been updated but rooms our consulting team were given under the government rate were the size of a postage stamp Parking was 2 blocks away One of our team members who drove there had a truck that wouldn’t fit in garage

Good news, hotel management let him park in employee parking Bad news, that was also size of postage stamp Very few extra amenities Although front desk staff was friendly they weren’t well trained Our reservations were held under our program managers name and we asked numerous times to place the stay under our names and Bonvoy accounts after we arrived They never did it correctly and now we are trying get credit through Bonvoy for our stays We will be staying at another hotel when we return for follow up meetings

Erik E

Very noisy with poor soundproofing right next to huge motorway $28 offsite parking a few blocks away, no security at this place Hotel looks recently refurbished in general but cleanliness could be improved, there was a lot of dust in every corner even if most surfaces were cleaned and the bed linens were clean

When requesting a crib for an infant, which we had confirmed in advance existed, we got an unopened box with a foldable crib which we were expected to unpack and assemble by ourselvesElectricity plug socket not securely attached to the wall creating hazard for childrenA lot of really friendly body builders hang out in the hotel

Pros:Beautiful hotel, definitely geared towards business Next time will explore the area around it Nice room, spacious, nice bathroom

Cons: staff at the Starbucks was not friendly They seemed bothered to serve guests (Not a reflection of actual hotel so will not lose a start for this, but training is needed for staff who works at a landmark downtown hotel)

David Bishop

We had a great time at this hotel After we parked o/s the hotel, we were met by Don Brown the bellman Don was very friendly, welcoming and told us about places to see and places to eat

He took our bags on a cart and showed us to our room after we checked in Don is a great first impression for the hotel We were checked in by a very friendly person at the desk She upgraded us to a better view from our room And the view was spectacular We enjoyed our stay up until Sunday morning breakfast at the Two Kings restaurant We arrived there Sunday am and found it to be a buffet breakfast Which was ok but all the food was cold and the attendants weren’t very welcoming

Jeremy Clarke

The hotel was nice Clean rooms, poor water pressure It is perfectly located to enjoy downtown Lancaster

However, I found that my tips for food service were altered + 300%!When I called the hotel to discuss with a manager several times I got voice mail and never received a call back after 3 monthsI will not stay here again as a result If anyone does, keep your receipts and make sure tips match what’s charged yo your account!Very disappointed that management would not return a platinum lifetime membership calls to share this concern I didn’t even want reimbursement, just wanted to share the concern so others didn’t experience the same theft

Tedd Wagner

We really enjoyed our stay here The location is fantastic The walkway to the casino is very convenient

The Parlay lounge has a great patio with a fire pit and plenty is seating The service was excellent and the food was great The sushi chef John was very outgoing and his sushi was excellent and reasonably priced There are also a variety of bars and restaurants a short walk away Many of the rooms are recently renovated and they have a great layout A few minor things in the bathroom but that was because of the renovation Overall a great trip and excellent value

Troy Sommers

Beds were good The pullout sofa would be better for kids than an adult for sleeping The TVs were lackluster as it was weird to use them

I thought it had no connection for the first 30 minutes The front desk workers were cordial but that was about itThe breakfast was blah The eggs, bacon, and potatoes were not something you wake up for They do have a nice set up for grabbing food to go as many of their items are single serve packages so if you are grabbing breakfast to go this place works My coffee was lukewarm on cup one before 7 But at 10 it was hot The pool was 3 feet to 5 feet It was warm in the pool and it went right to a nice covered patioThe building is under construction so it wasn’t as nice and convenient Good hotel if you are just hitting the casino but not a great hotel for a family I could hear multiple people at night moving around

NIck R

I’d be upset if I paid to stay here, luckily the casino comps the room First of all there is literally no parking available, depending on the time you get here, if it’s check in time good luck finding a spot They have charging for electric vehicles that take up 4 spots but no signs say parking for electric vehicles only, until you get into the hotel and they have a sign that was just put up and implemented on 5/13/22 that says it’s for electric vehicle parking only

When we checked in to our room there were no towels whatsoever in the room and had to call to have some brought up The pool room has such a strong chlorine smell and it stings your eyes when you walk in and is not very inviting The room wasn’t very clean and there’s no garbage bags in the can so stuff leaks out the mesh can onto the floor The couch had a lot of stains and didn’t look clean I think the only good thing was the beds were comfortable but who knows if those were even clean The furniture seems very beat up I only stay here because it’s free

Kayla Lewis

We had a room with two queen size beds One of the beds the fitted sheet was inside out along with several hairs and dirt pieces found in the bedding I told the staff which was given the option to change rooms or make me own bed with new sheets

I chose to make my own bed because we had already unpacked The walls must also be thin was able to hear people in the hallway along with the room next to us Not planning to stay here again as they didn’t even adjust the price of our stay But the pool and hot tub was nice

Erin Huff

The vibe immediately walking in was friendly and calm Lady working the desk was so nice and understanding Rooms are very well cleaned and modern

Beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in Pool and hot tub are good temps and clean Could be repainted around edges, but otherwise great! Breakfast was better than a restaurant with good options! Thank you for such a easy stay!

Keith Pierce

I’ve stayed at other Country Inn & Suites before and this was one of the better ones The staff was very friendly and informative The room was clean, impressively decorated and the TV was high quality! The free breakfast was good – not great, but good

The only downside in this hotel was the hallways and elevators Unlike the room, they were not quite as fresh and clean There was an unpleasant odor in the elevator Overall however, it’s a good hotel priced right, so we’d stay there again

This is a great hotel! We stayed here for a few weeks and the hotel and staff were amazing! The location provides easy access to everything in and out of the city The rooms are all unique and well done The fitness center, the restaurant, the business center, cleaning services and the valet kept us moving throughout the day

The people were very responsive and timely with anything we needed Nothing in the hotel business is 100% perfect but this hotel’s staff is invested in getting it right and made our experience here wonderful You can’t go wrong at this upscale, unique / boutique hotel

Carsten

We liked our stay Parking is a bit of a challenge here Valet is offered but difficult to get a spot close to front door

At this hotel you have to call and ask for ice to be brought to your room Our shower area had drywall/tape falling down from the ceiling The air conditioner sounded like an airplane taking off when it turned on Otherwise, it’s a very cool building with great architecture Great rooms that are clean The staff are friendly and do a great job Jordan at the front desk was helpful, professional and friendly

Beautiful hotel, great combination of historic and modern Awesome location, very walkable to tons of places We had a corner king room on the 16th floor and the room was smaller than I expected but we had a fantastic view

Employees were very courteous and they even do crafts in the common room to keep as a souvenir It was pretty clean-some hair in the shower which was kind of gross but it didn’t ruin the stay or anything One recommendation though-vending machine!

Wow! Where to start?! This hotel is absolutely stunning We cannot express enough how wonderful their staff is as well They went above and beyond to correct a minor inconvenience and were extremely helpful with returning an item back to me that was left at the hotel

The pool, bar, spa, rooms, atmosphere, etc are just top notch You couldn’t ask for more My husband and I enjoyed every second of our stay and we are looking forward to getting back to the Four Seasons soon Again, the staff is just fantastic and we highly recommend this beautiful hotel 11/10!

Wow, this hotel is amazing and customer service is top notch! There’s always a service person in the hallway almost anytime you open your door to provide you with anything you may need in your room They also have ice service to your room which is a plus There is bed turndown service as well

The bathroom has the best shower with strong pressure! The closet is like a changing area which is nicely separated front the bedroom area Everything is super plush here only suggestion is that they provide better toilet paper in the rooms Considering how upscale this hotel is, this is definitely a must

Posting on behalf of a friend who was too shy to do so – the hotel itself and service is lovely and exceed expectations The elevators, or should I say elevator, needs to be assessed and addressed How can such a luxurious hotel think the current system works? The amount of people and floors and what are labeled “smart” elevators create an unnecessary wait for a simple trip

Desperately needs improvement If they’re going to have two for the whole hotel, at least make sure they both work all the time! Otherwise fantastic

I took my family for an overnight getaway and it was just perfect!! The pool was busy but people were great about social distancing The hotel service was amazing and Julia at the front desk was so helpful and welcoming The rooms were beautiful and the little market had some tasty sandwiches, pasta salad and fruit cups!! It was great grabbing a late night snack

I will be back Thank you for helping us start the new year so relaxed!!!

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend to visit family We had a room right off the pool so our grandchildren could come visit and spend time swimming It has a tropical atmosphere and a hot tub

The door to the pool is locked from the outside at night and there is an alarm that alerts you if someone opens the door from the room This is great for safety for families with small children The room we had was spacious with 2 queen beds The room was clean I liked the vanity make up area outside the bathroom but the lighting should be more conducive to being able to see better This hotel has a bar off the dining room and the dining room had certain hours of operationwhich is ok as I like the option to eat in the dining room instead of going outThere was a convenience store which carried lots of goodies including great coffee from Lancaster County I really like the classic charm throughout this whole resort and the service of the staff wassuperior throughout The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the comfort of the bed We woke up each morning with backaches Maybe mattresses should be upgraded 🤔 Otherwise a classic hotel which I enjoyed

Beautiful hotel My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and we enjoyed it The indoor and outdoor pools were great

The buffet was also good Only thing I would say is the rooms themselves need to be updated The room was clean but there were many minor issues The one outlet by the sink didn’t work, the carpet felt sticky on your feet and just old The bathroom had mold on the ceiling For some reason our room was just constantly moist Everything just felt and smelled like it was wet from the moment we walked in The hotel itself is awesome, just the room we stayed in was just old and needed a major “refresh” The beds I thought were super comfy The staff were all great Overall, we enjoyed our time here

I stayed in Pittsburgh three nights for a work conference and enjoyed the hotel It’s conveniently attached to the airport and there are helpful signs for guidance The staff members are friendly and the rooms are beautiful

Each day while I was at work, my room was cleaned and fresh sheets and towels were added I liked the mirror in the bathroom with the automatic nightlight and built in digital clock The blackout shades also worked nicely when I got to sleep in on my last day before checkout I also enjoyed the seafood pasta for dinner and the warm brownie for dessert at the restaurant Thank you Hyatt Pittsburgh!

The rooms are nothing special beside a large screen TV Room was clean Bed comfortable

I have had better breakfast for free at cheaper hotels I had to pay $1710 For powdered eggs, or eggs from a bag Sausage thst was some low grade dog foodI would take a pass on this place, just for the low quality breakfast Nothing wrong with the room

Alex Kolb

Rooms were good Nothing special , large screen TV, comfortable bed,The breakfast that cost 1710 was some low grade dog food

I had better food at lesser 🌟 rated hotels for freeIf you just want a decent clean room, near the airport This is the right place Find food elsewhere

The entire staff was so kind and amazing Every thing personnel you walked by stopped what they were doing to ask you how you were doing, how’s your stay and if you needed anything! The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms were top notch

The bed was comfortable Breakfast in the morning so SO good We even had drinks down at the bar attached to the hotel and we enjoyed those as well Great job Double Tree in reading! You are doing something right Thank you for the awesome hospitality this last weekend

I’ve stayed here a few times now The softest sheets I have ever slept on!!!! Beds are very comfortableVery friendly and accommodating front desk staff

It can get busy at times but the rooms are always clean and comfortable, and though I have only had the breakfast once I found it to be a decent selection even later in the morning The only complaint I have is that elevator is quite slow even though there are only 3 floors- usually I just opt for the stairs Still, a great place to stay and a fair price for the level of comfortOverall this is always a pleasant stay and it is in walking distance to one of our favorite local restaurants- Fireside Tavern (get the tomato bisque)!

Okay I have an admission I thought since it was called Express on the end, it might be not as nice as other places we’ve stayed

Oh was I wrong! I’m huge on cleanliness when I stay overnight in hotels and I found this Holiday inn Express to be very clean We had two queen size beds and I usually loath the top comforter and take it off the bed prior to sleeping in it, but this comforter you could tell was not only very soft and beautifully white, but it was able to be washed as often as the sheets The shower worked nice and I absolutely love their choice of shampoo and cream rinse and body wash that they gave Not those tiny little bottles that you have to bang against your hand to get a little bit out of They had pumps right in the showers The downstairs breakfast was very nice as well All the basics, and everything you would wantThe only one negative I have to maybe say is about the pool Me and my sister were looking forward to it but it wasn’t his appealing as we had hoped And it was very hot and muggy inside where we didn’t even feel comfortable sitting and watching the one guest we went with swim It was just too hot in there to stay Other than that I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything!

This is absolutely the worst hotel I have been to in years The staff are rude and the rooms don’t smell clean I had to request a new room twice before finding one that was not smelly

I was treated with suspicion for wanting a better smelling room like I was trying to get over on them or something It was a mind boggling experience as I was asked if I wanted air freshener for a room which smelled like it had not been cleaned House keeping is also rude as they barged in on my twice before checkout time almost rushing me to leave and though the door in the room says check out time is noon it is actually 11amsmh I had house keeping banging on my door at 10:50 I’m not sure what they are cleaning though as the rooms are not clean! I only gave it one star because the complimentary breakfast was decent I travel a lot so it was better than most hotels I have been to but overall what a terrible experience Do better Holiday Innthis is unacceptable
