The main benefit of this hotel is the location, but otherwise the amenities are lacking Several amenities listed on the website are no longer being offered (like the “connect your own device”) There was also a huge issue with the billing where the hotel several times assured me the correct card would be charged but yet it was still incorrect

This took a couple of back and forth phone calls to solve a week laterRoom itself was fine minus a few reddish stains on the bathroom wall and towels

Susan Nicholson

Great room, great service! We went for a short visit over the July 4th weekend and expected chaos We were pleasantly surprised with the level of service, the quality of the room and even the meals in the restaurantWe can’t wait to stay again!

Alexis Wekenmann

Very disappointed by the “customer service” here They operate with no compassion or humanity and only care about their bottom line We have been to the various bars and restaurants affiliated with the hotel and have always had mediocre service

I mainly want to highlight two very bad guest relations moments with this hotel:- Prior to booking our hotel block for our wedding my dad wanted to give us a pre wedding gift trying out the hotel When he called to make a reservation they refused to give him a room or let him pay for our room- Fast forward two years later after celebrating our wedding at hotel Zachary and having a room block, we wanted to relive our fun memories from the year prior We were so excited to stay at the hotel, we booked our room in August the year prior Unfortunately I got COVID and could no longer make the booking I tried to call to change my reservation and had it cancelled immediately and was told the manager would call me back They never did call, so I called back Lucky me for the director of operations answered Unlucky me, the director of operations cares more for his number than his guests You would think there would be a human running a hospitality serviced hotel, but instead I got a soulless robot that kept saying “I cannot adjust the room pricing because it is based off dynamic pricing” He gave no room to accommodate us given the circumstances, and it made me incredibly sad because we loved our wedding day the previous year** Our wedding weekend 6/5/21 was great We worked with a lovely human, Daniel Lewellin, that went above and beyond to help us Unfortunately no longer works at the hotel, and sadly I think he took all the guest service and hospitality with him when he leftWe are very sad to say we will no longer be patrons of any of Hotel Zachary’s business

My husband and I came into town for his 40-year High School reunion It was a great experience! After a long drive and exhaustion, I called the hotel to see if we would be able to check in early Maria was the sweetest and told us we could

That set the tone for the perfect stayThe rest of the staff was very friendly Beautiful hotel and cleanTo it off everything was within walking distanceWe had a wonderful stay and will be back

Vinh Le

Despite the other reviews, I went anyway and to find that people there are really nice especially Maria Just a hello and we had a great conversation about life, great customer service The hotel may need some upgrades but don’t we all; I think we should stop judging and just focus on the positive sides of thing and just enjoy it

Cause if you are able to be at a Doubletree Hilton during this pandemic time, pat yourself on the back and just go enjoy! ❤️ For me the highlight was meeting another like minded person and connecting while enjoying the Pool that indoor outdoor pool as you can see in my pictures is def amazing Go live it up and Thank you Hilton for a relaxed time much needed

Eric Bell

Service was pretty good but the nightly fee they charge for what amounts to tips for housekeeping was kind of cheap If the housekeeping is good I’ll tip accordingly, but don’t fail to disclose this when I book it then I find out when I get there that it’s mandatory Overall pretty good hotel, nice and clean, but I didn’t get a chance to visit the attached restaurant and the shuttle service isn’t very reliable as I had to hail a few ubers

We stayed here for 2 nights in Room 2c It was the cheapest place in the area and with really good reviews like 5 starts almost, but I have to say

it was dirty and in bad shape The bed was pretty comfortable, our private bathroom was clean but the room was literally dirty The large area rug looked like it had not been vacuumed in a very long time, the very creaky wood floor was filthy, the beautiful woodwork along with all surfaces were dusty, the robes where discusting Within walking distance of a lot of nice shops, restaurants, Lake Shore Dr, etc If you don’t mind the uncleanliness, it is a great location which seemed to be safeThe inn-keeper was a nice guy, he gives a lot of advice, the places beautiful but they need to take more care

patti swanson

We stayed here two nights while our apartment in Chicago was being painted It was very affordable, and they really are pet-friendly! (Nearby AirBnBs allowing cats were 2-4x the price, while hotels in the area allowing it were

scary-looking This was a rare find)We found it to be very cozy and comfotable, and peacefully quiet at night It is an old building with some creaks and groans, but that was part of the charm for us The property has awesome historic vibes — you feel like you’re staying in a 1920s rooming house! Bathrooms were private, located across the hall, with robes provided for your convenienceThe free parking was a huge perk and we definitely enjoyed having some cocktails downstairs at the speakeasy as part of our visit!

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE!!! I booked a room for two nights at Old Chicago Inn in December When I arrived, I discovered there is no onsite reception and that you have to call ahead to arrange to check-in I called and left voicemails at the number with the hotel many times over the next few days and was never able to reach anyone

I originally booked through Hotwire and paid upfront, through so far I have not been able to get a refund even though I was never able to check in or reach anyone at the hotel and Hotwire also has not been able to reach anyone there Pretty messed up and VERY EXPENSIVE since I had to book another hotel for the weekend at the last minute

Beautiful room, warm and welcoming staff, and a historical building given new life It’s a magical spot I loved the welcome we got, multiple staff members helping us check in and giving tips and recommendations

The building is gorgeous I am not a fan of the musky woodsy scent they are curating in the lobby but I trust their process otherwise Our room was clean, cozy, and even has a partial view of the lakeThe restaurant on site was great! The food is fresh and hearty and the staff was so friendly and helpful I wish it was easier to get food to your room from the hotel! The pigs in a blanket and bacon mac were a great way to wind down a long dayThe bar to the left of the entrance had the most welcoming bartender who made me a delicious bourbon drink with a bit of a light finish I’d gladly drink again The bar space is the attached photo! Thanks for the wonderful welcome! We are excited to be here the next few days

IK

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay here! The hotel is clean and provides a great history behind its location, and the staff is incredibly friendly The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel key cards are actually made to look like famous NU alumni student ID’sOur stay was special because of the bartender, Tara

She made excellent conversation and was extremely accommodating when my partner and I came in right when the bar closed Her kindness made our night and elevated our experience here

Ken Mann

Really poor customer service ruins an otherwise interesting hotel that’s loaded with charmThe joy of staying in a place that’s not a cookie cutter chain A place with a wonderful personality

The staff is warm and courteous with no canned speeches What a pleasure talking a real peopleThere’s a refrigerator in the room and your 1 and 1/2 blocks from a Whole Foods marketSince there’s only one elevator and it’s very slow, I suggest booking a floor you can walk to

Lots of amenities Garage parking is included Restaurant is excellent, well run, friendly and reasonably priced

We had breakfast/brunch 3 days and it was very convenient and good Manager and wait staff were friendly and happy to please Housekeeping was excellent, cleaned rooms daily, facility is sanitary and spotless Gym, pool, saunas, hot tub were greatOnly criticism was sports club desk staff not attuned to running a hotel Maybe a post covid problem? No information in the rooms about hotel features, hours, etc Cable TV has problems with sound, but we were too busy to watch TVA Hollywood movie was being filmed there both nights of our stay A little inconvenient but definitely Chicago unique! We will definitely book again

Nic Van Til

Expensive, but worth the price Very upscale feel, clean rooms, and attentive staff Shoutout to Chase working the front desk

You have access to the fitness center facilities while you stay, so if that is something you are looking for, you will be very pleased with what they have on-siteThe connected restaurant/bar was also a great experience The food menu is somewhat limited due to the nature of it being a hotel restaurant, but what they do have is all incredible Actually very reasonable prices for drinks and food as well Good vibe at the bar if you need somewhere to escape to during your stay Bartenders were very friendlyThe only downside was trying to check-in early was essentially impossible due to the rooms not being ready, but we were able to get in around the guaranteed 4pm check-in time They will hold your bags for you if you arrive early and want to hang out at the bar or go somewhere else while you wait for your room

Ara Jaden

Overall this was a missed opportunity The service was lacking from checkout to departure The staff offered no info on amenities, didn’t ask whether I’d been there before, so my review speaks only to the hotel

Maybe it gets better? For me however, my experience was an elevator that smelled like sweat every day and a room with walls thin enough to hear slamming doors and weights dropping throughout my stay The pillows seemed to have waterproof covers that had to deflate before you could settle in Overall not a good experienceThe only positives I can really say they offered was the convenience of parking

Based on the pictures, location and 3 star rating, I thought this would be a great place to stay However, I was not pleased The hotel is a 2

5 star at best The attention to detail is lacking The light switches in my room needed cleaning, lack of warm/hot water in the shower, the bed ruffle looked like a balled up Kleenex and most importantly the lack of access for people with mobility issues I had to drag my suitcase up the entrance stairs(which I have trouble using) There is a contraption that appeared to be a lift for someone disabled but it was not working I think it is important to state that when a customer makes a reservation because it is a deal breaker And I am guessing it is not ADA compliant

Ziyad SM

The location of the hotel is convenient if you don’t want to stay in downtown Chicago The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and walkable Restaurants, groceries, and coffee shops are located within a 5 minute walk

The reception and check in process was more than satisfying The room was clean but the beds, carpet, and curtains are old and smell bad, it’s time for changing them $18 for overnight parking is quite expensive for that area The train rails are across the street from the hotel, and I could hear it from the 3rd floor in my room

Max Jemison

Terrible value for ~$100 a night First room we were in did not have a working toilet Ended up getting moved to another room and guess what? No hot water

Along with all of that, you need a card to get in your room, to access the building from the parking garage, and to work the elevator That’s totally okay when you’re actually given cards that work Multiple times my card(s) didn’t work on the readers and I had to get new cards Customer service kinda sucked but at least they were nice Would not recommend this hotel

This hotel is a great value and an enjoyable stay The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful The room was clean as well as the lobby

The cleaning staff appeared to regularly clean the lobby floor as well as spray down and sanitize the furniture It was nice to see such care taken to clean the hotel The hotel has free food available in the morning to guests The food offered was fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, orange juice, tea, and coffee The roof has a lovely view of the city and they allowed guests to eat their breakfast outside in this roof top area The roof top also has a lovely photo spot with a floral backdrop Overall this is a great, clean hotel and I highly recommend it!

I stayed at this hotel between May 15-20, 2022 The hotel is in a great location near major highways, restaurants, bars, comedy shows, etc Upon arrival the valet was super friendly and explained where check-in was (7 floor)

There I was greeted by Devin (I’m terrible with names sorry if I’m wrong) He was fabulous in every way! He really went out of his way to make us feel welcomed Seemed like he slept at the hotel, no matter the time it was, he was there smiling and happy I loved the Kennedy rooftop bar I swear it has the best view of the city Nicole is by far the best! She was amazing! Always friendly and really cared about our stay Front desk, Kennedy rooftop team, brunch team, valet and housekeeping were amazing I only wish the Kennedy rooftop was open later It is such a great place to unwind after a long work day Thank you all for making my business trip feel like I was surrounded by family!

Grand classic hotel Great location about 200 yards from Damen “L” station and if you are taking the train from down town there is an exit at the West end of the platform that is less than 50 feet from the entrance to the Robey This hotel is a converted office building built circa 1930s

It is at the intersection of 3 roads so it is a triangular shaped building so the rooms are odd shapes If you can get a room on an upper floor facing the city the views are spectacular Try the roof top bar too Great 360 degree view from the Roof Top bar The staff is friendly and helpful Great central location to several restaurants, bars, and shopping Although we did not use them, they have venues for weddings and birthdays which both occurred during our stay We did not try their restaurants either but they do have dinning options which seemed very popular

Stacey Yonce

This hotel is in a vintage building that has been restored nicely, while maintaining its character Rooms are comfortable, with minimalist decor, and have good amenities (soda, coffee, bottled water and 312 beer) Note that there is a $25/day amenities fee

We paid extra for a city view room and thought it was totally worth it – the view of the city was wonderful Alternatively, go to the Up Room, which is a great cocktail bar on the top floor and which also has amazing view of the city We enjoyed spending time there, as well as The Lounge on the 2nd floor, which has a casual vibe and sports on TV Service was good but understatedThis hotel is in a perfect location It is steps away from the blue line, Starbucks and Walgreens Wonderful restaurants and cute shops are within a 5-10 minute walk (We love Club Lucky, The Bongo Room and Myopic Books) I cannot think of a reason why we’d stay anywhere else the next time we visit Chicago for a fun weekend,

Russ Abstein

One of the most unique Marruotts I’ve ever stayed in Rooms are small but utilitarian in nature Old school feel with modern amenities

Very good amd friendly service up front The highlight of the place is an upstairs rooftop bar with a great view of downtown The service there was top notch not to mention a real fun group of bartenders just happy to be there Very clean and well maintained property

Booked a king room Got double full size beds that barely fit both of us Both beds didn’t use a fitted sheets, which is fine if the flat sheets actually covered the mattress

Both were not completely covering the mattress at the foot of the bedAirport shuttle arrived and left late Appeared to just be sitting on the side of the hotel across the street until 5am where it pulled up to pick up people there before coming over to the Doubletree If it cannot leave on the hour as stated, the time should be adjusted Shuttle driver left the door shut until loading all bags making us wait, before letting everyone on (although there were guests from the other hotel already on the shuttle)! Why would it matter if people are already on? I’ve seen this before at this hotel during the winter thinking it I’d appropriate to have guests wait in freezing weather to board

John Miller

First impression of my visit this past weekend (6/10/22) was that this place was going to be great The lobby was impressive and well maintained and check-in was friendly and efficient Unfortunately this trend did not continue

Once we reached the ninth floor the halls were overly warm a thermostat on the wall near the elevator stated it was 77 degrees and it remained that way our entire stay My group and I were treated to various unpleasant smells over the course of our weekend stay in the same hallway Again our first impressions of the room were great but that faded as the weekend drew on A moderate sized stain on the carpet we discovered when we moved a chair to play board games, small spots of peeling wallpaper, messy grout in the bathroom shower, incredibly dirty AC/heater vent, and mini fridge but no microwave were amongst the biggest annoyances for a room of the price range Breakfast was the biggest surprise, there was a buffet with a pretty standard spread of items like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, cereal, and a fruit bar We were waved over to a table and then went to get our food, some of the items that should have been cold were room temp like the cottage cheese Imagine our surprise when the man who waved us to the table brought us checks as it was not posted anywhere or ever told to us that this was not complimentary like it is a “lower” caliber hotels After tax something like $21 per person for this buffet One of our group only had a small bowl of cereal and a glass of water Overall very disappointed

Jesús Wong

Great place to stayRooms were ample and nicely furnished, I like coffee pots that do not use pods My room had a tub, unfortunately didn’t had a chance to enjoy it

Location is unbeatable, walking distance to the outlets and very convenient shuttle service to the airportEven taking the CTA train is just a 10 minutes walk awayFront desk helped out group a lot, we had special requests and they worked hard to help usGreat place to stay, the welcome cookie is a nice touch

Check in was fast super friendly person the room extra clean and beautiful The bathroom was over sized different sort of sink just don’t turn it on full speed but the shower is wonderful Beds comfortable but small extra soft pillows

We got the shuttle to airport in the morning runs every 15 minutes on time There are 3 restaurants on or around property They are all kind of high end in price but good food We ate at there personal restaurant and enjoyed our meal Will definitely use this hotel again for future travels Also parking in in a garage so cars not left out on lot

Jiri Tvrdik

Everything was exceptional except that the phone system in the rooms continues to be a mystery with me It would be helpful to have some directions in using itThe rooms have everything I need, even a very comfortable chair with foot rest

Room service was great, food excellent and and hot The bed was like sleeping on a cloudI will continue coming to Loews when traveling through Chicago because of the high quality It’s an exceptional home away from home

Spencer Ray

If you are coming to the Rosemont area, this is simply the nicest hotel The rooms were updated, comfortable, and large The toilet paper and bathtub size could be improved in the 1 bedroom suite

However the shower and water pressure left nothing to be desired for a hotel The bedding was the most comfortable I’ve used in the areaThe service was second to none I was here for a busy convention and there also happened to be 2 weddings that weekend at the hotel At no point did I feel Loews was short staffed or made any service concessions as others have The text service was wonderful and every single staff member I interacted with in person or via phone brought a very high level of professionalism and enthusiasm They should sincerely receive commendations for their hard work and effortI did not like the parking garage if it is busy you might be parking on the high floors, I wish I utilized the valetI only wish it was closer to the convention center I’ll be staying at Loews for all future events at Donald However, utilizing a shuttle for hourly service or we would be a great value add service for a busy convention

Clean rooms Great service Great location off of I-94 The only to be aware of is the lack of housekeeping during your stay at this property Since the pandemic started, housekeeping during your stay is by request only We have requested towels and/or housekeeping services during our stay, and they have already done a great job (we travel with two little kids)! We would definitely recommend this hotel to others

The hotel is lovely and the staff were very friendly The room was large, clean, and quiet The shades blocked out all the light from the parking lot which I loved

The bed and bedding was comfortable The parking is free and there were plenty of spaces My only complaint was the breakfast It was really just packaged food I would stay here again and just not get the breakfast option

My family and I stayed here for 12 nights when we were moving The suite we had was very spacious (1 bedroom with 2 queen beds, living room, kitchenette) for the 3 of us and our 2 cats The staff was always very friendly and the breakfast was good and convenient

The gym is mainly cardio machines with a few free weights and the pool was a nice addition The location was great for shopping and dining and getting to where we needed to be We were very happy with our stay!

Good hotel Quite busy but patrons and staff are good citizens Room good for being a budget hotel

Can’t find better bargain Relax in indoor heated pool – good for kids to enjoy Great free breakfast Good place to stay outside of downtown Although not too far from downtown, traffic doesn’t do justice though Expect highway traffic delays as part of your trip

Just had a family stay at one of the corner suites The room was relatively spacious and looked great with lots of windows though we had the curtains closed mostly due to the sun The décor and the furniture were slightly outdated, feels a bit retro but still in a classy taste which I like

The kitchen area was a bit small but manageable The sink counter space was adequate but hope they utilize the extra space on the side during remodeling Tub and toilet “room” was a little awkward when opening the door since the toilet is in close proximity with the door, but the area was clean, no damages, no rattling shower plumbing fixtures and sloppy caulking job Tub drains well! Beds were comfortable The thing I loved the most about this hotel was the AC unit, it’s whispering quite unlike most other hotels The irony is, the noise from I90 was quite loud Staff member were very accommodating and friendly Having Outback right attached to the hotel worked out great The location is near the Cumberland blue line station You can walk but there is a section of the route doesn’t have sidewalk starting from Hooters So this may not suitable for people with suitcases The area feels safe overall (during the day)

My favorite place to stay in Chicago Martha the manager is amazing and always has a smile on her face They will go all out to accommodate guests

The airport shuttle is also a huge plus Lots of choices to stay at near the airport but this hotel consistently provides excellent service It’s my home away from home in Chicago I don’t have one negative thing to say about this place They also have underground guest parking that helps with the weather in Chicago

I rarely write 3-star reviews but I thought this might be good for anyone with families to readHere are things that we didn’t like about this hotel:1 The living room is very noisy and bright

I have 2 teenagers, and we thought the pull out couch would make a good place for one of them to sleep to give them some space It did not work out well They have glass panels in the hotel room doors, which was pretty, but it let in all the hallway light You could also hear everything from the outside They were very busy during our stay and they lounge area was noisy into the middle of the night We could hear this despite being on the 5th floor2 The staff was mostly nice but not always helpful My son got sick while visiting He unfortunately did not make it to the bathroom in time We cleaned this up ourselves because it was out son and we didn’t want to make the cleaning service do it However we didn’t want to keep the towels with vomit in the room I put it in a plastic bag and took it to the front desk for laundry and the lady looked at me like I was crazy I also had to twice ask for beddingThings we did like about the hotel1 The complimentary drinks was a nice touch and appreciated Unfortunately it does get pretty packed during that time so you may not have a place to sit2 The location is perfect Close to other hotels, conventions and the train station is within a 5 minute walk

You get breakfast for each day you stay you get two drinks between 5:00 and 6:30 each day u stayHallways and elevators were way too hot Elevators need at least one fan or two felt like you were going to have a heat strokeRoom was decent I like the setup

Nice size tvs the shower could have been deeper water pressure could have been harderEven though we were by the airport didn’t really hear it unless you were standing outside so that was a plus didn’t get a chance to get in the pool but the area we were in was pretty good restaurants down the road Casino shopping $33 parking but it’s well worth it because you can get in and out without them charging you each time you leaveFirst day of breakfast eggs sausage French toast make your own omelette oatmeal regular toast muffins bagels and cerealSecond day eggs sausage pancakes make your own omelette regular toast muffins bagels cereal oatmealI do recommend this place and I will stay again🙂

I was looking for a place outside of Chicago and didn’t know my way around the suburbs! This Holiday Inn had good reviews, so I said yes!It was clean and quiet! The service was great and I felt safe the whole time! There’s complementary parking and breakfast! It’s located in a pleasant neighborhood, and next to a Police Station and a church!I also found out that Super H-Mart was just down the road! I would stay here again!

I am not sure if 3 stars were deserved Before moving from a different Holiday Inn Express & Suites near Midway International Airport, I lost my wallet and debit card Some way, the previous hotel shared my banking information

My friend agreed to pay until I could repay him When we went inside to check-in, I was not required to show my lost ID and had already been check-in though likely not legallyOtherwise, the hotel was nice Just be careful when exiting the parking lot to use the correct exit I did not drive but navigated I accidentally put us on the wrong roadway since I did not know the area

Eric Prudent

All things considered, it’s a pretty good hotel FYI if you’re going here, don’t count on their breakfast options I stayed a week and they never had any fruit options, and only had yogurt one day

Also almost every day the breakfast meat option was the crummy sausage patty Otherwise it’s a pretty nice hotel and there’s stuff to do in the area

This is a good place to rest your head if you need that in this part of town The hotel description is awfully optimistic The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable

That’s about it The hotel facade and the lobby offer a nice greeting Beyond that the halls and rooms are in real need of updating The decor and lighting are very old and drab I didn’t want to do anything in the room but sleep The reception area is all black and the employees wear all black This is way out of vogue Except for a very small area in the lobby, there is no place to sit and relax Two out of five is very accurate

Stephanie English

Room was very clean and comfortable Management was awesome and super accommodating I loved the decor of the hotel and our room

There’s plenty of places to eat within a short walking distanceGoogle says complimentary breakfast but there’s only coffee

Daniel Vaughn

My stay here for the past week has been excellent The rooms are very clean, beds and pillows rather comfortable, location near Lincoln Park is great, and the staff (both front desk and housekeeping) is highly accommodating and friendly Note that this is an old building – it’s not the Ritz – and with it comes some old-building issues (e

g finicky heater) However, any actual problems I had were quickly and courteously addressed They’ve also clearly made an effort to keep the furniture/beds/bathroom fixtures/etc clean and updated despite the building age For their reasonable in-town Chicago rates, I would happily stay at Willows again

Room is much better than I thought it would be (although I don’t have the good view to look outside), but the bed is comfy and the bathroom has plenty space (it makes a big flush sound though so I think other room can here it) The transportation is very close to the hotel so it’s very convenient The road is quite calm and quiet, and there are many restaurants nearby to check out

I once spent the night in a hammock in a Central American jungle during a civil war & that was more pleasant than my stay at the Hilton Orrington in EvanstonRoom 1: We arrived at the Hilton Orrington in the evening and were given a room on the lower floor I asked if one was available on a higher floor and they said no

So we checked into our lower floor room There were blood stains on the bedspread, the hinge was ripped off the closet door, the room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the armchair was filthy and looked as though someone had vomited on it So the next morning we went down to the front desk, told them of the problems, and were given a room on an upper floorRoom 2: The carpet was covered in stains, the air conditioning didn’t work & there were wasps in the room We asked about having the air conditioning fixed and were told that many of the air conditioning units in the hotel didn’t work and that they would put in a work order with maintenance I asked for a fan, but they said they didn’t have any I would like to note that it was 98° outside during our stay and 78° in our room So I killed the wasps, tried to ignore the carpet stains & we suffered through the heat that night Went out for the day, got home at mid-afternoon The air conditioning had not been fixed Went down to the front desk and requested a new roomRoom 3: The very surly man at the front desk gave us a new room but we refused to move until we saw it It was 80° in that room & the air conditioning didn’t work Went back to the front desk and asked for a different roomRoom 4: Smaller than the other rooms, with stained carpet and a postage stamp size bathroom, but no flying/stinging insects & the air conditioning worked However, when we woke up the next morning the bathtub was filled with tiny spiders Fortunately, they were easily washed down the drain with the shower headOverall the staff at the front desk (with the exception of Brittany & Andy, who were lovely) were apathetic, disinterested, unhelpful &, in the case of the thin man with the beard at the front desk, overtly hostile I had assumed that the Hilton brand represented quality, but in regard to the Hilton Orrington, this is clearly not the case

Be aware if you are booking a room with a king size bed, you may sleep on a double bed! Although my online reservation clearly stated Room with a king bed, i was told by staff that my room has a “smaller size king bed” (!!) and if i want a full king, i need to upgrade The bed only had 1 night stand and was super small I just didn’t like the fact that my wife and i were lied to and staff/hotel only cared about charging extra for sth i had already booked! Stay away from this hotel!
