On an impulse road trip, we selected this hotel to stay at We checked in late (after 10pm) and were greeted by a friendly attendant Though we only stayed 1 night, we had a perfect experience

The king suite was huge and accommodated us so comfortably! The room was clean, well appointed with everything we needed The included coffee and hot breakfast was good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and better than most we’ve had at comparable places The best part of this experience was the friendly staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ No matter who you passed in the hallway, they greeted you with a smile and offered help and simply made us feel welcome The later than normal 12pm checkout was also super helpful for us so we could get some work done before hitting the road Will definitely be back!

The front desk staff was outstanding! My boyfriend and I arrived late in a truck and trailer and the lady at the front desk helped us find a safe spot to park She was super nice The room was huge and very clean

Bathroom was huge, which made it easy for us to get ready in the morning Very quiet area Breakfast was great We loved our stay!

Stopped for an overnight stay on our trip northly We did make a wrong turn and came up through a neighborhood that was a bit sketchy However, when we arrived, we realized we should have just stayed in main roads

Upon walking inside, the hotel employee was very welcoming and the hotel felt clean and smelled good We opted for a double size room and it was worth the extra $20!! Room was clean Free Hot Breakfast and Coffee downstairs was good to start our day! Definitely would stay again if in the area

AC went out in my home and staying there was unbearable and a google search lead me here They had good reviews so I booked a room The staff on arrival and through out my stay was pleasant and friendly

They were available when I came to front desk and very helpful Room was clean and looks like a studio apartment It’s perfect for us because it’s like a home away from home The rooms comes with a kitchen, that’s has more than just a microwave The kitchen had an actual fridge and stove/oven If utensils/dishes are needed they have some available The downstairs area has a laundry room, vending and workout area They are conveniently located to gas stations, restaurants, fast food spots, grocery store, auto shops, the mall and highway I-75 They provided what I needed during a tough time I extended my stay 2- 3 times I think as my AC was still being worked onThis place is comfortable and felt safe so I didnt mind having to stay longer A matter of fact if I should every need a place to stay while traveling I’ll be sure to search out Extended Stay America first Only thing I wish is that their pool was open It was closed during our stay

Action Jackson

The price for the room was great and housekeeping was on top of our needs for towels and sheets throughout the stay The room was clean Wi-Fi service was excellent

However, roaches are a serious problem; I saw one every morning it seems and had to buy roach spray to keep killing the pests Other guests were continuously loud even during “quiet hours,” and the police had to come out at one point

Lavasia Francis

The staff was pleasant I stayed in room 210, the room had a bad smell when I checked in I did not rest easy with their 10 point cleaning Process

My room was not clean I ask the staff for another room but I was told they were booked So the staff member offered to clean the room for me but it wasn’t much of a difference Wish the rooms had a little more TLC when it comes to cleaning

The hotel staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful The hotel was neat and clean to include the lobby, dining area and elevator The complimentary breakfast was hot, tasty and served by the staff as a covid protective measure

My room was clean and the bed was comfortable The price was excellent I will definitely stay here again in the future

Rina Highers

Was very impressed with the cleanliness and modern decor, it even smelled clean Our room was excellent, the beds and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was amazing The shower had chest level jets that you could turn on or off

I really enjoyed that shower The staff was amazing and very helpful I wish I had got some pictures because it was a pretty hotel

Jessica Levine

Overall, this hotel was low-key great The room was comfortable, modern and tasteful Even the bed was very comfortable

My only small complaint was the wear/buildup in the crevices/door hardware in the shower – but it was not so much as to be distracting Let’s just say it was only noticeable because they rest of the accommodations were so nice We were very pleased with this last-minute booking

The hotel itself is very nice The staff are not to be trusted My wife, daughter, and myself were there last week for one night

The house keeper told the management that our room smelled like smoke My wife doesn’t smoke, my daughter is asthmatic, and I smoked outside by our car I was charged an extra $150 cleaning fee for something we didn’t do Hampton’s management needs to do better on checking the rooms before fining their valued guests Try another hotel before going to this one

John MacLeish

We have always been Marriott’s customer but recently on our trip to Nashville, the Marriott’s were full I usually pull my member card status and can get my room but this time I did not push There was a Hampton inn near by so we thought we would try it

It was fantastic, we had the best night sleep So we decided for our road trip that we would stick to Hampton inns because the room was so good, the breakfast was hot and the hospitality was on point Well, tonight is not the case, the first room we were assigned smelled gross, the refrigerator was broken, the phone did not work, nor was there any sheets on the pullout sofa we use for our two kids We told the front desk and she gave us new sheets and pillows and eventually switched us rooms, where again there were no sheets She was unable to find any extra pillows for my kids so there is that I just thought I would let you know this location is not up to par with your other locations We will not take a chance in the future with Hampton inns because of this stay After a long day of driving, which we do quite often, we just wanted to lay our heads down and get a good nights rest It hasn’t started off that good and I can bet the rest of our stay will be the same

Staff was very helpfulRoom was 👍Pet friendly, perfectMorning 🌄 food very good and available when I was ready Coffee, etc to go and breakfast had good smells, good variety, good taste, how can you beat thatPlenty of convenient parking as I have a small trailer in tow

They have exercise equipment and pool, my time was short, so I did not take advantage of those things,Room was clean, quiet, the right temperature, lots of cable channels to choose from, refrigerator, chairs, couch and tables, comfy bed, nice bathroom, and large outside windowwhewWhat can I say, it was just nice for an overnight stayMichael Barney

Lydia Delaney

Nice clean room however I requested a ground floor room but got a third floor room Had to lug everything onto cart and sturggle in and out of elevator Was given excuse that the first two floors were used often for pet owners and would not be as nice

I appreciate the upgrade but wonder why they give the whole two floors to quests with pets and not keep some for older adults as well I stayed because all rooms open inside But will not consider staying in that particular place again

Erica Swinehart

I am sooooo unhappy We specifically came to this hotel because it had an indoor pool and supposedly a hot tub(which they do not have) The pool was freezing I mean FREEZING, we have 3 kids who have been dying to go swimming and now we can’t, my oldest wouldn’t even go in it was so cold

We also are on the 3rd floor and it is so muggy and it smells like mildew up here It’s so humid in the rooms that the beds feel moist Thankfully we will only be staying the night but I’m waking up at 5am just to leave Won’t recommend or stay here ever again The ONLY good thing was the front desk lady was super nice!

I had one of the best night’s sleep in a hotel in a very long time at this place! The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable The building is set back away from the highway so the room was really quiet The whole place was immaculate from the lobby to the room

I overslept and missed the breakfast so will have to try that next time I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back

Sarah Roney

Our family absolutely loved this hotel Nice and clean We had a 2 queen suite and it was more than enough room for our family of 6

We had plenty of space to walk around The bathroom was huge Butmy favorite part was the sheets!! They were the softest sheets I have ever felt I have even looked to see where I can buy them Our only disappointment was that we never got to try the cinnamon rolls They were always out when we were in line for breakfast We would definitely stay here again!!

Janea

The manager there has integrity issues Hotel was booked through Corporate and paid by corporate She charged our personal credit card and was paid through our corporate account $2k

We disputed it through our CC company and she lied to them stating there wasn’t any payment through our corporate And the icing on the cake she charged us for 2 different rooms Nicki Dayton is bad business and I would never do business with this location ever again I’ve called igh corporate since she refuses to be honest and has integrity BBB will be next

Seldom do I write reviews but I’m very disappointed with my stay on 16APR2022 I’ve been very dedicated to staying at Marriott hotels in the past year with 54 nights in the last 9 months or so I actually used my Marriott point to stay this hotel

I should’ve stayed somewhere else, would much rather have save my points and time This was by far the lowest quality stay I’ve had in terms of the cleanliness of my room When I arrived the bathroom smelled terrible as if someone had just finished using it This smell did not go away and persisted into the next morning Later that night I went to use the shower, and there were hairs all of the shower walls, as if it wasn’t even attempted to be cleaned Lastly there were blood stains on the shower curtains Very unsanitary and displeased After reading some reviews, I’ve noticed that many others have complained about the lack of cleanliness and especially about the hairs left in the shower I would recommend you take your stay elsewhere

Trent Hevener

Just to get it out of way, the only reason for the 1 start hot is because the dining experience here was not great In fact we never got to eat there because it was unclear how to even get a table, we had to go to the bar to ask, and it was extremely understaffed, we sat for almost 15 minutes without any acknowledgement what do ever We eventually just left

I know that first part is bad, but the rest of the experience was very good The room was large, clean and looked nice The staff was attentive and friendly Parking was easy, and it’s in a good spot to get to most places in Macon When we visit again, I might stay here again, and unless the restaurant is a big deal to you, I would recommend it

Gina Strumpf

I stayed at this wonderful Marriott after painting under the full moon a beautiful wedding The transformation of the family farm field near the hotel into this spectacular wedding site was nothing short of amazing!! 💞There was so much beauty to capture But most importantly was my stunning couple taking their first dance as Husband and Wife💞🥂Honored to have been there to capture all the magic in an heirloom wedding painting that will remind them of their excitement forever more

The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful The lobby and grounds are nice There’s a nice little pool and fire pit

My room was definitely lacking and didn’t match the quality of the lobby and common areas My queen suite did not look as nice as the photos on the website it was old, dingy, dark, musty and dusty with old furniture The sitting area furniture was dirty and dusty and the carpet made my feet dirty… I stayed one night and when I left I had a scratchy throat, itchy eyes and cough If you have allergies don’t stay here I doubled up on my allergy meds and it didn’t workThe beds and pillows were comfortable enough, but the bedroom itself was musty and uncomfortableThe bathroom and shower were actually very clean and there was plenty of water pressure and hot waterThe halls and elevator were also musty and beat up They need some TLCOverall I feel that the condition of this hotel is not consistent with my normal Marriott experience The rooms, hallways and elevators are in need of some updating and thorough cleaning, especially with the rates they charge There are better options in the area; other big name chains with updated and clean rooms at lower rates

B Barcus

i was actually disappointed I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels and this, by far, was the worst the staff was great!! really friendly towards me

the beds are extremely uncomfortable after a week my bones ached horribly my mom’s room had a water leak, the ac barely worked and it was hot and humid in there the manager refused to switch the room (they had previously switched from a regular room to a handicapped room) again so they just dealt with it don’t stay in room 105 it’s gross

I don’t think I could have been happier; they ACTUALLY had a hot breakfast Let’s just say I was talking it up all the day before (I was the one who made the reservation and was definitely excited ~ the last Comfort Suites we stayed at pitched theirs

) The eggs and bacon were, indeed, scrumptious The woman at the counter was friendly and understanding when we were 20 minutes late to our reservation The room was clean and exceedingly comfortable, except for the bathroom The toilet paper was half empty and we had to clean the toilet seat before using it, as well as the shower not being as clean as it should have been These are our only complaints for this hotel; maybe just focus on the restroom more next time!Other than these details, I would definitely suggest this hotel for an overnight stay for weary travelers or just a wonderful getaway! I rate this a quick stay!*Yes! It was DIRECTLY OFF the highway Easy access!)

I am so picky when it comes to hotels but I was so surprised by this location! Off the bat the lobby is super clean Though they don’t have loads of parking they had enough for my truck and U-haul and took us in the middle of the night traveling from Florida to Colorado front desk was so kind and the rooms are very clean and the bed is very comfortable

I have my ESA animal which was no trouble at all for them either Thank you so much!

Kayla & Alex Show

We stayed for a weekend at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised It is very clean and conveniently located off the interstate The rooms were all decent sized and I appreciate standard rooms coming with a full size couch as well

The only reason for less than 5 stars is that the smoke alarm battery ran out late at night in our room and there wasn’t anyone on front desk or available via phone in the overnight to change the battery and turn off the intermittent beeping We didn’t sleep well because of the smoke alarm issue however they did fix it for us the next morning The staff otherwise was always helpful and friendly and I would stay at this location again Also i would like them to change breakfast cereal from off brand to the name brands we know and love I know it sounds snobby but the off brand doesn’t taste the same

First walking into the room, it was very clean & pretty decor We are enjoying our stay Here because of our house fire

So far it’s going into 2 weeks & it’s home away from home to us Except for the rooms have assigned housekeeping days & our room haven’t been cleaned yet Everything is exactly like the website photos We have 2 separate bedrooms & separate bathrooms inside the suite Housekeeping is friendly Manager & Conner at front desk is nice too Breakfast is great ( not a huge menu) & clean dining area We’ve experienced the pool ( except the water was cold) & small gym Again, everything is going fantastic so far It’s expensive, but it’s worth the quality amenities

Amanda Johnson

First issue was at check in at the hotel the clerk just asked for my last name and hand me the key to the room Didn’t ask to see my driver license or credit card Second walked by housekeeping to get to our room playing loud music and eating

The hallway to our room had a strange smell Hallway felt like we were walking loose floorboards The room was very clean The beds were comfortable Don’t know anything about the pool or free breakfast

armando herrera

I’ve been staying here for Almont 5 months and at times they ran out of amenities and at first I didnt mind at all as everyone was so nice Sometimes my room wasn’t at the fullest clean but again after months it was OK because we understood We were a large group at first but some didn’t like their services and cleanliness but Iwas OK

My son started working as a seasonal with same company so I surely recommend him to stay He has 2 kids with him so he rented a separate room Us knowing how kids at their age (3, 4)my family would ask for a vacuum or sweeper to clean up and trash bags They always ask for us to leave trash out the door, so I told that to my family For the 3 to 4 weeks all the staff did was change sheets and minor clean up We bought a broom since my family was always in door so today at check out for them my son noticed a 150 fee for damages but there was none I approached the desk since I was the long term customer and asked and immediately Jawana Mason started going off that the room was extremely messy and said to me , is that how dirty your house is, I immediately reacted upsetting and started arguing and said YOU ALL treat us like slaves I was very much offended by her comment because from what I know she referred to all my staff and myself including my family NEVER AGAIN I will stay on this hotel Of course the carpet would be dirty since we paid a pet fee of 100dlls but that was not the issue but yet of her racial comments to my staff and family Hope you think twice before you stay here with kids or work related for a long stay I’m soon to be an Elite Member for my king stay and feel very humiliated

This is the place if your traveling I-75 near Macon Georgia! This is in Byron technicallyWe stopped at 3 other small motels in this immediate vicinity For about $10 more, this place looked better on the outside and offered a hot bteakfast vs cereal and maybe some fresh fruit! We received a welcoming, spacious and clean room with 2 queens

The beds were super cozy! (4 fluffy pillows on each) The room also boasted a generous desk with drawers and a small sitting table with a very cozy armchair Air conditioner ran beautifullyThere was free HBO on a nice sized flat screen that swivels It even had a large mini fridge and microwave Ice machines on both levels as well as vending machines and washer and dryers in the breezewayWe discovered an indoor pool and spa that looked well maintained when we went to check out the breakfast The delicious breakfast was spot on! You can make your own fluffy hot waffles, which was pretty cool! It was a pretty full setup; Those waffles 😋grits, sausage, eggs, bagles and bread for toasting, muffins, yogurt varieties, 3 different juices, and ofcourse the omnipresent cereal and fruit 😉 with every condiment imaginable The hostess was a real sweetheart too Thankyou! We are on our way back from a 5 day camping trip in the Grand Smokies therefore a nice hot shower in a clean friendly spot was very appreciated We would definitely stop here again!

Our sincerest thanks and appreciation to the staff at Candlewood Suites for wonderfully hosting our two-week stay GM Robert, Queen, Beth, Andrew

you’re all rock-stars! Every staff member we spoke with were genuinely friendly Even though the property has been around for awhile, not once did I find it to be dingy and worn The hotel is well-maintained and the housekeeping staff are, without a doubt, top-notch! Everything looked and smelled so clean! Our room was large, comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal Not having to pay to use the washers and dryers was a huge plus! We plan to be in Macon many more times and will most definitely make our reservation at Candlewood Suites It’ll be fun to visit with our hotel staff friends, again😊

Andrew was very helpful in the whole process of checking in and out He’s very friendly and provided us with the appropriate hospitality Though we were only in town for one day of the cherry blossom festival, the stay was very decent

Though there were occasional heavy footsteps from time to time, it didn’t make much of a difference The beds were comfortable and clean

EXTREMELY OUTDATED !!! Hotel needs a full remodeling The Televisions are the size of old fashion computer monitors The tv didn’t work but had the nerve to have a DVD player connected ROTFL

I was racially profiled by the GM Robert whom charged me $300 smoking fee because he said “All YALL smoke” then hung up on me I assumed he was referring to my race I am a 26 years old African American with tattoos but could easily go for 17 or 18 He became very angry, disrespectful and condescending once I challenged him regarding the issue Fortunately what Robert didn’t know is that I am a IHG Employee and have worked in high end hospitality majority of my lifeI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE!

The rooms were clean and the breakfast included hot food like eggs, sausage and waffles We have a large family and unfortunately no suites were available We were disappointed that they couldn’t give us two adjoining rooms even though we booked a month in advance and requested this at the time, but at least we were on the same floor across the hall from each other

Absolutely a top stay for a family of 6 for an unexpected occurrence! The staff was amazing! Everyone went above and beyond to satisfy not only my needs but the entire family and by the end of the stay we knew them by name! Definitely a home away from home! Not everyday for a family of 6!Cozy rooms too!

Very clean! Great “real” breakfast! Nice staff!Comfortable bed, nice king suite One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at After traveling across the country in May of 2021 and Feb-March of 2022, we have decided to only stay a Hilton’s Homewood Suites from now on

They have been the cleanest large rooms with comfortable beds and nice breakfasts

My family and I were displaced from our home due due to a fire and this was the first place we got set up for temporary housing We stayed here a month and I can I just say we were severely unimpressed! I have never had such a hard time just getting the thing I need while staying in a hotel! The pool was not clean at all the whole time didn’t even want to take the kids! The breakfast and staff who felt with that craziness was amazing never disappointed! The housekeepers we had taking care of us if felt with directly were amazing! The front desk staff was just sad and disappointing The fire alarms went off 3 different times during our stay and I swear our kids have PTSD from it bc now any sound that is unfamiliar they freak!
