Stayed two nights here in different rooms The beds are very comfortable and great There’s no microwave oven in the room

Kinda odd for this day and time The staff don’t stay at the reception desk and you have to wait One of the staff members argued with me over an extra bag of tea and wanted to charge me Two people in the room and one tea? Come on guy seriously pick your battles Over all I would stay here again it’s a nice place

Our Great Adventures

Hyatt is always our go to when we need a hotel Its high standards of cleanliness have always been consistent My husband also needs a good area to work and Hyatts always have plenty of space to accomodate

Usually, I take lots of pictures but we were all exhausted from a long day and ready to relax Our room was exactly what we expected- clean, with plenty of space We ordered off the menu shortly after arriving The prices were good for the convenience and the food came out quickly(burgers, fries and pizza) There were no complaints The next morning my crew was excited to see what they had for breakfast This is always a fun part of staying in a hotel for my kids It was a nice variety and it was being refilled and maintained well The lobby was also a well lit and inviting area to enjoy a conversation, wait on transportation or just sit with a cup of coffee Bottom line: I would recommend staying here

Claudisia Hartman

By the grace of God they had a availability after we had the worst experience at another local hotelIt was packed due to a traveling baseball & softball organization, but they still made it feel like home! We are headed back to Tennessee from Ludington & had the WORST experience at another nearby hotel As soon as we arrived it was apparent the rooms were much CLEANER and that’s all I needed for my family and I

The rooms were amazing, the showers were hot, the app was easy and fool proof—and the staff… the staff was AMAZING and made me feel at home!I give these guys FIVE STARS!

The service was good at this hotel but the facilities need work The bathroom is extremely outdated The shower head is unmanageable and just sprays everywhere

The tv wouldn’t change channels The hairdryer was from the 1980s Everything else about the room is your standard courtyardThis bistro is pretty bare bones and wasn’t open for dinner/drinks like many I’ve been toThis place gets the job done but it won’t be an excellent courtyard stay like you may be expecting

Mike Daniels

Front desk person just going through the motions at check in Shower was awful Never got very hot

Shower knob kept breaking off The shower head just kind of sprayed water all over the place TV remote kept losing connection If I pressed anything but channel up or down, I had to turn the TV off and on again I expect better from Courtyard

Maria Masha

Don’t book at this hotel I would give zero stars if I couldOverpriced for the service and accommodation you get

Rooms are stinky, bathrooms are super outdated Cleanliness is questionable and besides sope there is nothing else you get like in other hotelsThere is no complementary breakfast For a 3-star hotel this is a shame!

Upon arrival I parked at what I thought was the front of the building, but when I walked in there was just a long hallway Called the front desk from the parking lot to find out where I should park, and staff took forever to answer the phone When someone finally did answer she literally sounded like she just woke up

It was weirdThe desk was not manned when I walked in, but eventually someone came out from a back room, blowing her nose as she was walking up to the desk… It was kinda gross, but she was friendlyMy room was clean, AC worked well, beds were clean and comfortable My only real complaint about the room is that the TV remote only worked about half the time There was a microwave and fridge, but the fridge did not include a freezer compartmentThe pool was gross The water itself seemed relatively clean, but the floors and walls certainly weren’tCheck out was easy

Stayed Fri 6/24-Sat 6/25 Hampton Inn and SuitesGreat service, friendly staff Beds were very firm, so comfortable for me but my husband found a bit too firm The facility was very clean and well kept from what we saw (only there from 11pm to 8am)

Continental breakfast had many options: individual cereals, bagels, wafel makers, premade/reheated cheese omlets, sliced keilbasa, pancakes, muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, tea Pool was closed due to covid restrictions (not a complaint, just a note) Masks were provided if you wanted one, but not required Sanitizer was readily available We saw only one luggage trolley while we were there Luckily we were able to use it, but I imagine it could be frustrating if you are visiting on a weekend/higher traffic time We would definitely stay here again if we travel this way

Mary Jackson

Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had! Terrible front desk employees We recently booked a block of hotel rooms for my wedding and had the worst experience going thru that process Rude and unhelpful to the guests I invited to reserve rooms

The lack of customer service while speaking on the phone with the employees was a jumbled, nerve racking mess! Only makes sense that they were just as awful in person They didn’t even put us in the room we requested for the bride and groom I will never stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

This was a great place to stayRoom looked like the picture on the website Staff was very polite and courteous, nice TV, bed was nice

Everything looked clean to us Loved the floors No nasty carpetBreakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage They had other options also 24/7 coffeeConvenient to restaurants and storesMy only complaint which is small! I believe would be the odd number rooms (we had 301) face north to a road and get some noise from a few loud cars The even numbered rooms face south on the other side of the building and another hotel which I think would be quieter Also just a couple unsightly homes on north sideBut we would stay here again!!

Shane Burgess

Very nice location right off the turnpike Hotel is clean and the rooms are perfect for a quick overnight stay When we stayed over the summer, the breakfast seemed more impressive, more options and was fully stocked

We ate around 8:15am on a Saturday morning and things looked pretty picked over Maybe just an off day, but wouldn’t stop me from staying again

Rachel Damiani

Nicely organized and clean I liked the lobby with the sitting areas and pool table The room was clean, tidy, and had all amenities one would expect

There is no carpeting which I appreciate – easier to clean that way My room was on the first floor outside the parking lot, but the area is quiet and I had no problems with noise The thermostat allowed me to control the temp perfectly The shower was hot with great water pressure Bedding was crisp and clean Overall, it was a great stay, no frills, and had everything one would need to be comfortable

We just stayed here for 3 nights with our hockey team & had a fantastic visit The staff was very friendly & always helpful Great first impression from the minute they greeted us

The room was a mix between updated & old but spotless & well maintained I really don’t care of the bed side table is brand new or from the 90s, as long as it is clean & functional It was Loved the giant tub but wished the shower head was a foot higher At 5’7″ it was almost too low for me Pullout bed was literally the most comfortable pullout I’ve ever seen Very new Plenty of towels for the shower & pool They provided shampoo, soap & lotion No conditioner But I pack my own anyway The lobby was very comfortable We spent quite a bit of time there with the other parents & players Good pool area with plenty of seating Nice breakfast bar but I wish it has more variety from day to day Fresh scrambled eggs made in a skillet not poured out of a bag & baked in the oven, bacon, sausage or ham, pancakes, waffles, cereal & some pastries Except for the meat, it was the same buffet for 3 days But much better than some other places we stayed this season The hotel decor is dated, but I think that has a lot to do with nostalgia for ND And I don’t care as long as it’s clean Everything that mattered was great & we will happily go back to this hotel

Jill Sweet

Tammy and all the staff were AMAZING! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and checked on us often-from front desk to maintenence Our kids couldn’t wait to see Tammy when we returned from our excursions each day Breakfast was fabulous, too

The only thing that could be better is if the jacuzzi was in the room with the pool We WILL be back!

Tenisha Johnson

The Mishawaka location is great because you’re near shopping and dining spots We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was nice in sizeDecently furnished

Nice pool areaThe furniture could use an updateThey offer breakfast and they offer a decent variety of food and it’s constantly being refilled, which is a plusThe front desk and housekeepers teams where kind and professionalThe kitchen supervisor was very rude! He questioned me on meal tickets for my 4 and 5 yr old grand daughters who eat like baby birds and literally ate less than a full plate of food between the 3 of them;meanwhile there were unsupervised teenagers that were messing over large quantities off food and wiping out eveythingPlease keep in mind my husband provided the meal tickets prior to us even getting food The supervisor didn’t check with his staff he just made a vast assumptionJust a friendly note:KIDS 5 AND UNDER SHOULD EAT FREE!!

Where can I start

we initially stayed at thus location in April for a basketball tournament and decided to stay again in May as we had another tournament It was absolutely TERRIBLE the second stay! First off, both rooms were absolutely FILTHY! The garbage can was full of trash and the floors were disgusting Neither room had clearly not been cleaned We had to go to the front desk at midnight (when we arrived) to get towels (because there wasn’t any) and also bedsheets to change our own linen Also, we booked 2 rooms WITH a fridge and microwave and neither room had the appliances which was a complete bummer because when traveling for sports, we like to stock the fridge for cold beverages for early morning games The 2nd night the hotel allowed a birthday party in the conference room It was super loud and young people running everywhere When I complained to management about how unsatisfied we were with our filthy room and lack of appliances that we paid for, the managers only offered ONE grab and go cold breakfast to accommodate 4 people and to make up for the $650 we paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights Needless to say they will never get a another red dime for me and I highly recommend that you don’t book with this hotel As a Marriott elite member this by far was my worst experience EVER and the greed that this hotel manager showed by only offering ONE cold breakfast was shocking and even more disappointing Never again!

After calling multiple hotels trying to find a room for the night, we landed at the Four Point we we’re able to get 2 very nice rooms

After arriving home we thought my grandaughter left her stuffed avocado behind We called and the gentleman at the front desk took the time to go look in housekeeping, unfortunately it was not there We did ultimately find it, but how wonderful it was for the employee to take the time to look for it

This is the hotel we ended up staying at after we fled from the Super8 in Howe( go see my review on that dump) This place was the polar opposite The hotel is really nice, our room was fantastic, clean, roomy and comfortable

We stayed for two nights with our dogs and they were super comfortable here it was so nice to have an equipped kitchen area with a fridge We did not cook anything but we did have a cooler with us and it was nice to be able to unload it into the fridge and also be able to clean our dog dishes, travel mugs and such The hotel is in a commercial area with lots of restaurants and stored but it was a very nice area and we just felt comfortable here Overall we had a very nice stay and would gladly stay here again if we are ever in the area and need a place to stay

Gloria Walker

I stayed for two months for my job Feb and March 2022

I chose it because I had my dog with me The front desk people were very nice and accommodating The room was very nice however I could not get anyone to clean my room for two months I had to go and get towels myself I had to make up my bed myself I was told that I would get the room cleaned once a week but that never happened I did complain but finally I just said forget it It was nice having breakfast during the week Monday through Thursday The laundry area was too small for the size of the hotel I was just very disappointed However I did have my dog with me

Best hotel stay hands down I have a terrible time sleeping in hotels when there are constantly people running in the halls, people above me up walking hard all hours of the night, etc I already have insomnia and even w/earplugs it’s usually rough but not here!

I will say this hotel was so quiet I had to play rain sounds on the TV 😍 I never heard another person at all I could immediately tell when walking in the halls that it was well built The pool was nice and clean and the furniture has even been updated since the pics w/nicer quality stuff I came for a staycation with grandkids and tbh that’s why I chose this place for the kitchenette and most hotels I’ve been at w/them has them all on the bottom floor with none above it like mini condos I did that as I didn’t want to be that person to others w/kids hoping around or middle of the night drinks, etc I was so happy with the stay that I’ll definitely come back and recommend it The breakfast was good as a grab and go but had everything most other decent ones have like hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, toast, bagels, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit, milk, juice, coffee

The rooms were very nice I love the layout of the rooms also LOVE the brand of shampoos/conditioner (drybar) they smell so good There was a wall that maybe needed a little cleaning in the room but other than that it was great! Also, the bartender Libby was awesome

She made me this grapefruit drink that was amazing She recommended several places to check out and we enjoyed the bar we actually returned later for drinks and a bite to wrap up our evening

Dani Maeda

It was good BUT

I was disappointed in the pool area It was a mess and really gross There was a film across the pool and a bunch of hair and lint floating in itThe elevators were a bit scary/Shakey One was out of order and the others were ricketyNo complimentary breakfast It costs $3 for cold cereal and you can buy sandwiches and cappuccino I’ve had better breakfast options at smaller hotelsThe comedy club in the basement was nice Good entertainment The area was awkward though They need a better layout for them Felt very cramped in there Like we were stuffed in a back room they forgot aboutThe gym space was very nice! Even though I never use hotel gyms, this one I would! They had a really great area and options for the equipmentOverall, we enjoyed our stay If you are going for the pool, I would call ahead to make sure it is even in order and just plan to spend extra on breakfast in the morning

Dmitriy Y

Convenient location for downtown South Bend Our first room had a broken air conditioner, but luckily they were able to move us to another room The rooms are generally clean, with some stains on shower curtains, etc

The lobby is nice, but in need of updates Skip the complimentary coffee in the lobby as it tastes like the grounds were reused many times over Overall, a decent price for the experience The best thing it has going for it is a prime location

I visited South Bend for a car event in early May I decided to look online for accommodations other than the usual hotel I came across the Beiger Manson and decided to book a room for a few nights

Ron and Dennis were fantastic to deal with Ron shared the history of the building and you could tell they have spent a lifetime gathering antiques and decorating the Manson Lots of really cool items and one of a kind antiques The room I stayed in was nice and comfortable I met another couple that was attending the same event and we talked about our cars every morning The breakfast here are beyond belief (seriously, first class) If you are looking for someplace nice that is close to everything in and around South Bend, I would recommend you stay here Ron and Dennis, thanks for a wonderful stay

K R

Enjoyed talking with the ownersThe owners are so sweet, amazing and accommodating They left no space untouched and every detail is taken care of The rooms are good size, mine had it’s own private bathroom

The bed was comfortable, the comforter on the bed was heavy and kept me warm at nightThere is not much within walking distance but it is not a far drive from great restaurants and the St Joseph RiverBreakfast was unbelievable, thanks to chef Ron He made his world famous orange marmalade upside down French toast Very impressed with the service, rooms and breakfast

Teri Parker

We had a wedding shower brunch for our son and soon to be daughter in law The Beiger Mansion was a wonderful setting and the food was absolutely amazing Dennis was wonderful to work with and took care of all the details

We truly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home and will long remember our unique day Thanks to Dennis and staff for a magnificent experience

Outstanding new hotel with a great happy hour when it is up and running The rooms are super nice and include a fridge and microwave The gym has a great selection of equipment but no filtered water machine

The breakfast was delicious The potatoes were done perfectly It’s a little inconvenient that the breakfast starts at 7:30 and not earlier for people trying to hit the road early The beds are very comfortable It was frustrating they didn’t have the happy hour running one of the nights I would still highly recommend staying here if you are in the area

Nina Awad Becklund

We had a canceled flight and were desperate for a room We went to Brandon, the manager of Embassy Suites, and he was so caring and helped us out tremendously He is truly an outstanding asset, and we will be back because of him along with Cynthia

I believe her name was at the 530 happy hour She went out of her way and was so kind, professional, and a joy to speak with These two employees really made a rough night into an enjoyable one Thank you both! Rooms are clean, the hotel is great, and has a great bar and excellent breakfast The entire staff was great!!!

Erin Combs

Hotel feels a bit upscale Service is friendly, efficient, and informative Breakfast and an evening refreshment reception are included

Rooms are clean and spacious Located right on Notre Dame campus There’s a restaurant on site as well Note: They don’t do room service (although there’s a button on the phone for it) You’ll have to order carry out and grab it yourself but that’s not a big deal

Front desk staff was very friendly & welcoming but that’s where my positive experience ends

The room was clearly not cleaned well, our first sign being that the do not disturb sign was left on the door from the previous guest The shower had mold in the corners & hair left in it and nothing seemed wiped down So we didn’t shower that night after a long road trip & also slept on top of our sheets as we were worried they never got changed Really disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap nights stay by any means but felt like it

Tiffani Priddis

Very average hotel Large open hole above what felt like a rickety old elevator Rooms dont appear to have been updated since maybe 2002

Bad carpet and evidence of mold along the top of the wallpaper in shower area of bathroomHave also switched over to large bottles of products in the bathroom that are bolted to the wall Be sure to check that they have been filled and/or replaced I went to shower, and there was no shampoo at all in the bottle!! Very frustrating to uncover AFTER your hair is wet and you’re standing naked in the shower When I told front desk later that morning, just a chuckle and, “oh yeah they dont replace it if they think one or 2 more pumps can be got out”Breakfast was also terrible Just very very sad all around

David

Staff was friendly and welcoming! But clean the coffee maker for Pete’s sake! I wasn’t excited about bad hotel coffee in the first place but was willing to deal with it until I had to consider the dysentery that would come along with it I realize that it’s a Springhill suites and I can’t have Ritz Carlton expectations But come on!!! Otherwise, it’s about what you’d expect from an old Springhill Suites…

The owners Alice and Tom were incredibly sweet and accommodating Breakfast was delicious! The best banana bread I’ve ever tasted and it was gluten free per my dietary requests! The home was absolutely incredible to look at The history of home was intriguing to hear about and I was so happy to see most of the original details from the home were intact

Alice was so sweet to share some facts with us and you can tell that they are both very proud of the home I can’t wait to stay here again What a beautiful place to visit!

We had a wonderful stay at the Oliver! The home was beautifully decorated for Christmas The hosts Tom and Alice were warm and inviting We enjoyed our chats and hearing about the history of the Oliver

I highly recommend touring the Oliver Mansion History Museum right down the street The room was very comfortable and quiet The gas fireplace and jetted tub were a nice touch The breakfast was delicious! We’re looking forward to returning in the future

This was a beautiful, clean home with many wonderful quiet rooms We particularly enjoyed having coffee on the front porch each morning before a wonderful breakfast in the dinning room that included fresh fruit, homemade baked goods and a quiche one day and Dutch baby another morning for the egg type entrée Alice and Tom were excellent hosts

Would not hesitate to stay here again

The hotel was very busy but the staff coped well Rooms are reasonably priced The breakfast was good , may have needed some more supplies given the number of people staying

The staff were great and very apologetic for running out of some food items Lots of parking available great location and convenient to walk to stores and restaurants

On July 19th, 2022, I checked into this hotel at 11:30pm for a reservation I had made a few weeks priorAfter I was given a room key, I entered my room and there was another guest asleep inside the room The staff had given my reserved room to another guest and given me a key to that room

I returned to the front desk, the staff apologized, and gave me a different room with 2 queen beds (even though I had reserved a single king bed) and $50 off the total room billThis is a reminder to always use the secondary deadbolt lock when in your room – you never know who they will give a key to

Our visit was a disaster Carpet was stained, and the toilet was running slow so we informed the front desk Said they would note it on the file about the toilet and carpet, they would call about the toilet to have someone fix it

Later call back to have the toilet fixed and no one showed requested linens for the pullout, no one showed, requested towels no one showed Zero to room service The pool didn’t smell like chemicals and the water level was down, had a garden hose coming from the chemical room going into the pool Asked the front desk and they said it was fine to use When checking out after my family was using the pool for two days, a notice the pool was down for maintenance was posted in the elevator now I have a prescription for antibiotics and steroids for a severe ear infection Also my children and I have found bug bites on our legs, hmmm also noticed a bedbug encasement was on 1 of 3 beds in our room Then they say the carpet and toilet are our fault and keep our deposit Horror show

The only consist thing about this place was the valet parking Those guys were great Restaurant wasn’t open until 3 days after we got there

I had to ask several times to get our rooms cleaned When they finally did get clean the did everything but change the sheets I spent over 250000 here and that’s what I got Jason and Gage were amazing These poor kids were working hard

Simple but niceNothing stands out that was spectacular The service was great from the valet to the front desk clerk The location is nice to be able to walk to shops, restaurants and shows at the theaters

I like to go green and did not see much that supports this I brought a refillable water bottle but the only place to refill it was on the first floor in the corner in the fitness center It would be nice to have a refill station on each floor, maybe next to the ice machine area

I have stayed in numerous hotels and many Marriotts before and this one was one of the best The rooms are of high quality, clean, and well kempt Above all else, the customer service is superb

There was a slight confusion with a double book under my name and when I checked out we quickly found that out However, one of the reservations had my name spelled incorrectly, making it harder to track down the reservation Nicole, who was the person helping me figured everything out for me and she was able to give me a full refund despite the hoops she had to jump through Thank you Nicole! I know I will most likely be returning as I go to South Bend for business and I will always come back to stay here

Room could have been cleaner, I was at this location for 41 daysFront desk staff was amazingLots of places to sit outside, two separate areas both with fire pit

lots of restaurants and shopping within reasonable distanceI actually really liked layout of this hotelOnly 2 washers and dryer available for entire hotel, this made getting any laundry done almost impossible Most hotels I stay in have another laundry area on top floor

Jim Heirbrandt

Almost everything was excellent The only con was the breakfast Jimmy Dean sandwiches, muffins and coffee

The orange juice was out Didn’t find milk for the cereal Really dropped the ball here The room was fantastic and the service was absolutely top notch Everyone was friendly and smiling If they improved the breakfast, I would definitely stay again
