Convenient location of the highway Clean and well maintained facilities Easy and enough parking

Free breakfast spread had enough options to satisfy everyone in our party Beds, pillows, and blankets are super comfortable AC cools great for a restful night’s sleepOnly gripe is that the bathroom door has no locks Ok for the single traveler or couples, not so great for families

Enjoying my stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in North Huntingdon, while my home is being fixed from water damage Staff is pleasant and helpful Breakfast is pretty good and included with stay

My room was not the cleanest, but was not to overly dirty just the office chair is cloth and it shows extreme use and could use cleaning Room also smelled a little dog I think they are pet friendly hotel, so I guess it’s kind of understandable just not preferred!

Stayed at this hotel for a week while in town for a family event I usually stay in Monroeville when visiting, but decided to give this hotel a try!•Strengths: The room was clean and in good condition upon arrival Elevators and stairwells were also clean and well maintained

Generally quiet during week day evenings/overnight when there were fewer guests Wifi connection was strong enough to allow for remote work Most days of my visit, breakfast food and coffee were available and fresh When the room’s AC unit leaked water all through the carpet, one of the staff members who was cleaning rooms was able to help submit a maintenance request for me, maintenance came out within an hour or two, fixed the issue, and cleaned up before they left The location is great, especially if accessing the Turnpike•Weaknesses: No spare rolls of toilet paper and a nearly empty Kleenex box at arrival, so had to ask for more during the stay The fan on the window unit only runs while heating/cooling and there is no bathroom fan, so the room can get damp easily (plus with the AC issue, the room needed some Damprid or a dehumidifier, but those weren’t provided) There is construction across the parking lot that you can hear from inside, and they started early in the morning some days — could also hear people in the other rooms, so not as soundproofed as one might hope On my last day, they ran out of coffee for the 8-9AM breakfast rush, but luckily there are Sheetz and Starbucks nearbyOverall, a newer hotel (compared to most in the area), with decent amenities, helpful staff, and clean/well maintained shared use spaces and rooms

I have stayed in dives and I have stayed in better quality Holiday Inns This was a dive for a Holiday Inn Maybe location?? Maybe not used often but was fairly full this past weekend

Room wasn’t the best I did have a quiet room not too much traffic in the hallways or doors being opened and shut all night like I have had in other hotelsFound cat/dog food in the drawer for a smaller animal left there for awhileToilet seat wasn’t clean to standards I feel it should be when a room is too be cleanedDispenser in the room broken and not even filled Remove them if not in use no longer A few of my other family members stayed there too (6) other rooms were saying the same things I am just speaking for mostBreakfast area not the best set up or organized for serving as many people as there were that Saturday morning I even found mold on my bagel when I was about completely finished with itThe pool wasn’t real swimable as a pool Maybe as a creek or stream water was on the green side and couldn’t even smell chlorineI am an honest person and some of my pictures are proof in what I am saying I hope there are some improvements too

I travel a TON for work I get hotels for a week to two weeks at a time I have stayed in at least 15 Holiday Inn Express in the past 6months

This one has the largest and nicest king suite I don’t know about the rest of the rooms but I’m in 218 and I’m glad I chose this hotel They have a good breakfast for a HIE 2 slot machines downstairs, which was a first They had my CLC and my room key ready for me when I checked in I handed them my ID and I was immediately handed my room key It was nice because I got in much later than anticipated Other than there being kids above me running around in their room it has been a nice experience Kids will be kids There is basically nowhere exceptional to eat or go around here but if your in town for business I recommend the place

Ethan Yonker

We got in somewhat late and noticed the room was dirty The floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed There were crumbs and crackers next to the bed

The sheets looked dirty I almost wondered if they hadn’t been changed The thermostat display didn’t work so we had no idea what it was set to The bathroom drain was clogged, the shampoo & shower gel were empty, there was no hair dryer & the TV didn’t work Stayed at 4 different hotels on our trip & this was the worst by far The lady at the front desk did say that the room was supposed to be out of order but the manager kept putting it back in If you can’t trust the manager, you can’t trust the hotel At least the lady gave us a key to another room so we could finish getting ready

Such a cute place! The owners were wonderful, and made our stay so special! The room was perfectly decorated, and the bed was comfortable Bathroom was stocked with essentials But the most amazing part of this B&B was the food! Most spectacularly delicious meal I have ever had! I ordered the salmon, and for dessert had the coconut cream cake

we were biking on the GAP, so I decided that I earned dessert 😊 Everything was so good! I can’t wait to come back!

Stephanie Eisentrout

Wow Incredibly rude Website CLEARLY LISTS open availability

When I called with a few questions about bike storage I was talked over and met with overall hostility I was very angrily asked “Do you have reservations?” (to which I responded no, I just had a few questions) the “gentleman” snapped back “Well you’re not going to get one!” Well sir, you’re absolutely not going to get my business now Or ever I’d rather add 10 miles to my ride, which I did, than stay at a place who’s employees are condescending, dismissive, and overall rude

Debra Furlong

Lenoras Inn We arrived after biking 38 miles on the GAP trail which ended in a downpour Lenora and her staff greeted us with towels and refreshments on the porch The Inn has lovely rooms and the meal was equal to any 4 Star restaurant

She and her husband were welcoming and had some great stories We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the special breakfast eggs, stuffed french toast, sausages and ruby red grapefruit before we left for our ride in the am It was a great town to walk around and view historic sites

Summary: Went there for the Hilton name, and was disappointed – in fact, it’s a stain upon Hilton’s name and reputation Will not be returningIssues:- BEDBUGS (a full on infestation that likely spans multiple floors)- No functional kettle (and the coffee machine and related items are in the bathroom – just why?)- No complementary water bottles- Overpriced and repulsive “snack shop”- AC sounds like the demon love child of a jet engine and horror movieThe entire fourth floor is infected with bedbugs, and not to mention, it feels much dirtier than I would expect for the hefty price tag

My stay was discounted by 50% for the inconvenience, which is appreciated, but is nothing compared to the monumental amount of money I’d have to spend if I got a bedbug infestation in my own homeDespite the staff being quite kind, there is no room service or food delivery (to the room), even for something as basic as toothpaste, you have to go down and pick it up yourself The food in the “sweet shop” is a vertices and some of the actual meals (Lean Cuisine and cup Mac and Cheese) are nothing short of repulsive and not even Jesus Christ himself knows how long they’ve been sitting there The breakfast was acceptableMoving on to the rooms, they of course had the aforementioned bedbug infestation, but the bathrooms were decent However, there was no kettle, only a hot water boiler/coffee machine that ONLY with tis for coffee, not even for the Mac and cheese sold in the store – there is no way to turn it off and you literally have to pull the plug if you want to make it stop, by which point the water will have already spilled everywhere In addition, there was no complementary water bottle refill or anything, which is admittedly a minor inconvenience The AC has no speed controls and can only be controlled via the thermostat, this is fine, but the issue is that without the AC, the room is eerily quiet, but the AC sounds like a jet engine and a horror movie soundtrack had a demon love child – they’ve somehow managed to make it extravagantly loud while having a high pitched horror movie sounds that makes it very creepy)In conclusion, I went there for the Hilton name and the prestige that comes with it but was sorely disappointed and will not be returning as a customer

Super exceptional customer service I am a Marriott Platinum member for 2 years and have NEVER received this kind of customer care and assistance at Marriott I came here due to the insufficient customer service at a Fairfield in that I was slated for a 2 night visit

The Marriott was unaccomadating and rude I cancelled and immediately sought out a Hilton property Olivia set us up with my request of 2 queen beds and 1 roll away bed She hD to place us in a handicapped room to accomplish this because the room has a larger foot print I must say that the service, the quality of the food and free breakfast, the cleanliness of the indoor pool and entire facility is far superior to whT I have been tolerating at Marriott Bonvoy locations I will now take all of my business to Hilton from now on I am good for 75- 80 stays a year and prefer to give that business to people who appreciate it Thank you Olivia, you will always be remembered by my family and myself

By far this was the best campground along the trail! We couldn’t have been more thrilled with our stay here Easy to spot the entrance right off the trail, lots of open, grassy space available for tenting, and fire pits and picnic tables throughout The facilities were the absolute highlight: the showers were fantastic, the covered main area was great to duck out of the rain, plenty of outlets to charge up your stuff, and lots of other small, thoughtful details throughout

Well worth the price we paid I’m finally posting this review (even though we visited in October) because we’re planning our next trip and are so excited to stay here again!

John Galler

I heard about this place after I had already started biking, and was easily able to make a reservation using my phone while eating lunch the same day It is a really great spot for camping, and there is quick access to some places to eat and a Rite Aide Showers are great, and there is a covered sitting area with coffee, books and chargers

I would stay there again

David Cook

I’m a little late posting this review, but this place is phenomenal! I was riding DC to Pittsburgh last week of June and was heading to Dravo’s Landing for my final night The sky opened up and the the lightning was pretty bad I was able to stop at a shelter, went online with my phone and made my reservation just a few miles from GAP campground

It’s right off the trail and I was amazed when I got there…even happier when I saw the coffee maker and several choices/flavors to brew! I loved the showers and the heads, and the pavilion made me feel like I was at someone’s house just enjoying the evening on their porch Highly recommended for a stop! Can’t wait to stay again during my next ride! Hopefully I can camp near the river next time; if it’s not a torrential downpour!

Rude Front Desk Supervisor (Ellen)The hotel charge me an extra $300 for 1 night because they claimed I checked in a day before I really didWhen I called the hotel about this I was called a liar by the front desk supervisor (Ellen) and she told me “I was on camera signing papers and checking in on Friday” I checked in on Saturday and checked out on SundayEllen was very rude and was chuckling when telling me I was lying and I stayed for 2 nights not 1 like I actually did

When I asked for her employee number she then hung up on meI called the hotel back 5 times and was sent to voice-mail every timeI have never been disrespected and treated so poorly by a “professional” establishment, this experience made me feel like the gum stuck on the bottom of someone’s shoe This experience still feels really bad and Ellen hurt my feelingsI didn’t deserved to be treated like that and no one deserves to be treated like thatMy Girlfriend and the organization I was at this hotel with are just as upset about my experian as I am

A good patch of green grass between each lot Newer picnic table and fire pit had a built in grilling rack Always a positive We were there in the off season so pool was closed I’m sure it’s much busier in the summer We will visit again in the summer to check out the massive pool

The front desk staff were very pleasant, and the food area seemed sanitary and had a wide variety of choices The rooms were clean, and when we checked the mattresses we saw that they had mattress protectors on it However we noticed that some of the rooms features were a bit outdated compared to other hotels

The location of the hotel was extremely convenient and had many different stores in it’s vicinity

Ryan Aaron

The first room they gave me smelled of smoke but the girl at the front desk was very nice and gave me a new room that didn’t The rooms were relatively recently renovated and clean There’s not much around the hotel but it’s there and there aren’t a lot of other choices

It’s not a destination but if you need to be in the area this was a good choice Breakfast was meh

The bathroom was separate so the light didn’t wake up the others Breakfast was delicious with multiple options for everyone The staff were very friendly and helpful They did little things like show me how the remove the tray so my water cup would fit and helping my 10 yr old figure out how to work the pancake maker All and all a great experience Thank you Holiday Inn Express for being such a positive experience on our drive home!

Outstanding, comfortable and affordable B&B!! The Bed offered a great night’s sleep and the delicious Breakfast was an excellent way to fuel up to start the day! The service was above and beyond expectationsHighly recommended, especially for GAP trail riders The secure bike barn was an excellent feature as well

Omar Abdelrehim

This was my first GAP trail ride and my first day was long with the travel and biking, and Bright Morning was a sight for sore eyes and buts, lolI was greeted by a very sweet lady named Shelley and some water with lemon balm and mint (really tasty after a day on the trail) and a smile and great hospitalityThe place was very nice and cozy and right next to everything, and you can walk to everything in just a couple of minutes and right next to the river

Now Shelley was AMAZING!!! She really went above & beyond She noticed that I was very stressed because I just learned that I left my charging cable for my electric bike and I still had about 120 miles to go and I would not have enough batteryShelley did everything possible to calm me down so that I could enjoy my trip She spent so much time trying to find me a cable to solve my problem, to no availShelley went to the extent to go to her house to look for a cable and guess what?? She found a cable that worked and she was so happy to see me overjoyed to know I can continue my trip, only because of our Creator and ShelleyGood bless you Shelley and I would absolutely stay there againI forgot to mention the awesome breakfast, sorry I didn’t take any pictures but it looked so good I couldn’t wait and I gobbled it up because it was so deliciousBright morning made my next morning very bright, thank you Shelley and Bright Morning!!!

Rooms are nice, lobby is nice location is convenient Parking lot kept free of snow Breakfast could use some improvements

Very little selection Front desk staff was 50/50 The woman There my first two nights was fantastic Friendly and engaging, recommended good places to eat and steered me away from others Always with good information backing her selection The little “butterfly” the third night was not so good Had a bit of a foul mouth and seemed to be a political correctness/social justice hire Thankfully, he was not my first impression

Let start off by saying that this Hotel is probably the nicest I’ve stayed in on my travels with my job The people always are positive, super helpful, amazing personalities My roommate and I didn’t have a working fridge…

most people would be like okay deal with it…not this staff!!! They went out of their way and brought us a fridge…hooked it up…double checked it and asked us if we needed anything else I say all that to say this…I’m not sure if he’s the maintenance guy or if he’s just someone who helps out but I gotta give a huge shout to Gary ( don’t shoot me if I misspelled it) Gary always had a positive word to say every morning Always had a smile to bring to the early start of the day Amazing conversation when ever we had I was stranded there by my old company…after almost two hours of trying to figure out how I was going to make my bus on time to go home…Gary the God sent helped me out If there is anyone we can take life lessons from…it’s this amazing hotel staff…with great service comes amazing people…Thank you so much Fairfield Inn and suites I most definitely will be returning to this brand and possibly this location!

Craig S. Nicholas

I will rarely write a bad review, but this hotel deserves recognition I typically stay in hotels 50-60 nights a year and I can’t remember a more dissatisfying experience I normally stay at the Holiday Inn which is right in front of this hotel, but decided to try something different this trip

Both hotels share a similar price and ratings but what a difference in service I expect much more from a Marriot property I will start with the good My room was relatively clean, that’s where the good endsFirst disappointment: Coffee, it was so weak and tasteless that you could see clearly through it It was like they used half the amount of coffee grounds as you were supposed toSecond: Breakfast, very limited choices Everything was the cheapest you could buy They did not even have butter for the Bagels or wafflesThird: Business Center, no privacy, old slow computer The printer only worked sporadicallyFourth: The property felt rundown When the microwave didn’t work I was told you have to slam the door because it was old and needed to be replaced The refrigerator was tiny and did not have a freezer compartment, again CHEAP The TV was old and small and the remote was difficult to operate Poor insulation, could clearly hear the occupants in the room above me The AC/Heating unit was unreliable, I had to put it at 82 degrees just to keep it warm enough to stay in It was probably off by 10-15 degreesFifth and WORST: Housekeeping Monday afternoon when I got back to my room nothing was touched! When I went to the front desk to inquire I was told it was on request because of COVID I am tired of businesses using COVID as an excuse for poor service, and there was nothing to indicate that this was the case, it was not in the listing, I was not told this on check-in, and there was no signage to indicate this I requested my room be serviced The next day they replaced the towels but did not even bother to make the bed, or replace anything The next day nothing, I once again requested service and when I got back to my room the next afternoon the bed was made, towels were replaced but the overflowing garbage’s were not emptied and nothing else was replacedI am sure I missed something, but you get the pointOut of the 5 nights I stayed there not 1 day went by where things went as they were supposed to I understand that mistakes are made and not any 1 of these issues would make me want to leave a review such as this but when you add them up it’s a lot of disappointment and aggravation which as a business traveler I do not needMy advice is this: Do yourself a favor and do NOT stay at this hotel!

I was in town for my mothers funeral/celebration of life ceremony, and the rooms were not very clean and had stains on the walls and furniture The curtains were also very stained and it made me not want to touch them There was a desk and office chair in my room that was ripped and torn and filled with large, very visible food crumbs

It was disgusting It looks like they spent a lot of money renovating the lobby and common areas, but the rooms themselves are a bit outdated Most of the wait staff were pleasant, but I was met with a rude receptionist more than once At one point I had asked the front desk for a towel for the pool area as their weren’t any left and was told no because “they didn’t have enough because people kept stealing them” The next time I travel to the area I will pay a little more to stay in a nicer hotel 15 minutes down the road

Tylena Knop

The building was a little outdated but the front desk staff was very kind! The room was OK, bed was comfy, couch was kinda gross but the bathroom had just been remodeled and was Very Nice!! Hotel was quiet at bedtime 😴 Breakfast was good! Hot & a good selection Not many options in the coffee dept tho

😬 For $110 we would stay again if in the area
