Home Team

Had a great stay overnight with Michelle We enjoyed the amenities of the hotel, the nicely remodeled rooms, the very comfortable bed and great breakfast in the morningVery nice hotel, clean and well maintained

What a great location for anything in Racine, centralized, right off of Hwy 20 yet quiet and comfortable away from the highwayThanks for a great stay!

If there was lower than 1 star I would rate them that DO NOT stay at this property The owners have no regard for basic sanitation

See the pictures below My sheets had blood stains on them and management instructed their staff to make the bed anyway When I asked for a refund of my room because I opted not to stay there anymore, management informed me that because I, ‘stayed in the room for more than 30 minutes, there is nothing they can do’ What does it matter how long I was in the room for? Is every guest expected to pull all the sheets off their bed from the second they get into the room? This is ridiculous I am now suing them and involving the Department of Health

Spacious rooms I thought we accidentally got a suite but nope just that big The pool is HEATED

Best pool experience ever The hot tub bubbles so much it’s like a caldron (good thing) The breakfast is awesome, I mean, they have egg white omelettes and a machine that makes fresh pancakes Best hotel experience ever I’ll never stay anywhere else on MY dime

Aaron Swarvar

Reminds me why I stopped staying at Holiday Inn 15 years ago Location is good Everything else is decidedly mediocre at best

Parking is rough Furnishings are well past their prime Seems clean though Nothing is “crisp” Creaks, groans, stomping, and noise like I haven’t experienced in a loooong time Light sleeper? Stay away I only stayed here because my usual go-to was booked (Doubletree), my backup was booked (Hampton), and my 3rd choice was over $200 (Fairfield)

Jackie Cheyne

The room was spacious and somewhat clean When I checked in, the desk clerk was in jeans and shirt Wasn’t accustomed to that with holiday Inn

There were ants in the roomThe lock did not work on the door, and the keycard had to be reset They had cold breakfast dued to inventory issue Had an issue with the bill, asked to speak to manager, they were not in, asked for him/her to text me for I would be at work Never received a text or a call, called again, left message, did not receive a phone call Called guest relations and explained the issues She resolved the issue by giving me 10000 points in which I would receive in 7 to 10 business days Lmao

Staff was first class for sure, clientele not so much Pool looked nice but it was a friggin madhouse with kids on Valentine’s Day weekend?!?!(not behaved kids either)Also the next morning the staff were on top of cleaning everything Floors, windows, rooms

was pretty impressive This place is clean for sureOnly cons were they charge for parking(get the $3-24 hour pass so you don’t have to pay $2 every time you come back to the garage They don’t stress this option at check-in, so make sure to ask if you missed it) Also they charge for a continental breakfast($9) but also have a buffet option for $15 Food looked decentThere is a very nice restaurant connected to the hotel called the Corner House It is on the pricey side but food looked good I only sat at the bar unfortunatelyAll in all a very nice hotel if you’re not worried about budgeting(remember you get what ya pay for)Edit: We just found out the night we stayed, there was a shooting 2 min away in a local bar that left 4 or 5 people with gunshot woundsreally Racine?!

Chad Nichols

Good location right on the harbor Upgraded to harbor view room after the first night for a few bucks more

beat money we spent as the rooms are noticably bigger Front desk staff wasn’t overly friendly but accommodated our room change request Hotel was supposedly full but sure didn’t see anyone even at breakfast we were about the only ones eating during the height of breakfast time The 2 queen bed rooms that aren’t harbor view are too small and the beds are basically against the wall so very difficult to get in and out of bed

Ally Hayes

I’m a mom with 3 teenagers and they guy at check in offers me an “upgrade” to a king size bed from my 2 double room “for only $60 more a night” Really? Read the room! Do you want to sleep in a king bed with 3 half grown adults? The Staff was not accommodating If I want to buy milk at 9pm for the cookies you gave the kids at check in that should be an option

The shower did not drain good at all After a 10 min shower the water was mid calf so I had to turn the shower off and wait for the water to drain The “continental breakfast” is not free $9 and an option for buffet is $15 save your money and go to Roosters 5 min down the road The pool is very small At checkout they never said anything about needing a parking pass to get out of the garage I used mine from the night before, it didn’t open the gate I hit the call button and it didn’t even budge I called the number and the guy on the phone kept telling me to hit the button after multiple time of telling him the button was broken and not pushing in he said hold on let me call my colleague He calls my phone back and says try your ticket I told him the machine already took my ticket After 10 min back and forth and a line of annoyed drivers behind me they finally lifted the gate I did not get my monies worth and will never stay here again at $250 a night for 2 double bed Ridiculous!

The staff here are fantastic and super friendly Made an effort to speak with someone each shift, including the GM, and was pleased with their customer serviceThe rooms themselves could use some attention

The first week I was here the room didn’t have a microwave and the second week it sounded like an occasional drip in the bathroom area but I couldn’t find where it is dripping to or where it was coming from Refrigerators in both rooms probably stayed in the 50s unless you used the 2 hour turbo cool button, but that only lasts for 2 hours then it warms up againIf you just need somewhere to catch a night of sleep, this is the place If you’re going to spend a considerable amount of time in your room hanging out or a refrigerator is a must, I would suggest somewhere else

michael behm

Stayed just one night during a road trip, front desk staff was nice and friendly, even the cook in the morning asked if our breakfast was “perfect” and to our liking, even thought it was just buffet style scrambled eggs and sausage Room was clean, but a little dated Parking lot is easy for single vehicles, but we had a trailer and had difficulty once we pulled in

Joao Gomez

My room wasn’t smelling good Had to have the AC on all the time reduce the bad smell The breakfast stared at a real good time, every morning I was able to get coffee, a fruit and something from the fridge and all this was before 6am, even though the breakfast time was 6

Fitness center was okay, small but the equipment was in good shape They collected packages at the front desk and the people was very kind every time

It bums me out to write this, but we did not have a good experience this morning I understand the world is understaffed, but it wasn’t as busy as restaurants typically are on holidays We had a 10:30am reservation, ended up starting to eat at 12pm

When we first ordered, things seemed okay, but 20min after ordering, the waitress informed me my meal wasn’t available & provided me a menu again and apologized She didn’t come back till about 10-15min later to retake my order When we got our food, it was bland, undercooked & my moms toast burnt- we couldn’t finish eating I tried to eat as much as I could, but now I actually feel sick, cause my eggs weren’t fully cooked🤷🏼‍♀️ But I was starving after two mimosasThe staff could tell it wasn’t great as they comped us a bit on our bill, but I was pretty disappointed as I wanted to take my mom somewhere nice I’ve had drinks here before & ran into similar issues with increased time waiting for service & expensive drinks I feel the price should match the food, atmosphere & quality of service, which unfortunately wasn’t there We still provided a decent tip as it wasn’t totally our waitresses fault, but sadly, we won’t be back😔

Ben Devine

Have had great dining experiences here ever since I moved to Kenosha in early 2021 It been almost a weekly staple for me and my girlfriend and it’s never disappointed us Our regular server Allison and the new chef Alex are very polite and friendly making us feel welcomed and valued as a customer

I’m excited what new menu items will be introduced in the future!

Mark Angelo

We had a terrible dining experience at Apis We went there to celebrate a special occasion on Saturday, May 21 with a group of eight We had made a reservation long in advance

Food was pretty good but portions small, even when ordering the Large plate items Service was terrible For starters the server only brought 3 menus for the eight of us to share We asked for more but never got them Once we ordered it took over 45 minutes to get the first plate of food Then about every 10-15 minutes another plate would come out It took more than 2 hours to get all of our food, so each family member ate separately Our server kept coming to our table to ask us how everything was even when we hadn’t received any food, which really puzzled us, and each time we asked about the status of our food and each time we were told the kitchen was really backed up The kitchen was clearly out of sync and in chaos After all the time at this restaurant we went to another restaurant for appetizers afterwards We definitely won’t be returning to Apis again

Great location, convenient to the interstate, good food close by, easy to get to/findRooms were comfortable, we were visiting with another family so the adjoining rooms were super convenient for that purpose Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable

Perhaps my biggest compliment is that there was no shortage of outlets/places to plug in devices which is such a relief these days!

Julie Bouchard

The rooms are very clean, the service amazingThe hold back from 5 stars is breakfast It was ok

There are limited options, and it is the same everyday Microwave eggs/sausage, bread, waffles/instant oatmeal and tiny, dry cinnamon rolls I wasn’t expecting a full out amazing breakfast everyday, but at least change the options If its going to be microwaved, don’t over do it, and make sure there is enough Many mornings we were there by 730/8 and food was gone

Lacey Dean

We had a horrible experience at this hotel The front desk staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming Besides smelling of stale smoke, our room had large chunks of the window missing

Our room was on the main floor and the window was about 3 feet from the parking lot and the issue with the window led to excessive noise from the weather and other patrons The room also had an ant issuethere were tiny ants coming out of the carpets and the corners of the bathroom door The hotel staff said they could only accommodate the issues by moving us into another room for an ADDITIONAL $100 per night In addition, large groups of people were coming in and out of the hotel side door through the hours of 1am and 4am, slamming doors and hanging out in the hallways, the hotel staff did absolutely nothing The rooms do not reflect what is displayed on the website and their pool is still under renovation as of Feb 22 I would seriously question all the 5 star reviews for this specific hotel

We are checking out today our stay was very nice The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean The room we stayed in was the king whirlpool suite the room itself was nice and fairly standard for a hotel room

The whirlpool tub in the room was clean and overall a nice way to relax The complimentary breakfast was decent The amenities include a pool, hot tub, and gym The highway is right by the hotel but I could not hear any traffic from inside of the room Overall the hotel is a 10/10 from me and I do recommend coming here

Although I didn’t stay overnight, I was hired to decorate a room for a clients anniversary celebration and the room was very nice The hotel is very clean, well maintained, and the front desk is very welcoming The location is awesome and so close to everything you could possibly need

Pool had a couple of dirty towels in it Glad the staff actually had towels in pool area, very convenient Rooms was very clean Sofa bed was already made up with clean linen, also very convenient Easy check in Staff friendly and helpful A quiet place

Emile Banks

The hotel itself is ok However, the front desk staff was exceptional I usually stay at five star hotels when I travel which is very often

Although this hotel is definitely not a five star the staff is I believe the front desk person’s name is Diane I stayed here nearly a week Every time I passed by the front desk she was asking how I was doing and whether she could do anything to make it better There was also a cohort of her with this beautiful ring that was also outstanding These two made my stay above average

Todd Leonhardt

This Hotel is a Great Value for all that you receive The staff is Courteous and Pleasant to deal with The property is in a prime location within walking distance to the Premium Outlets and minutes from Gurnee Mills

My wife and I have stayed here several times as it’s clean and comfy The pool and hot tub are inviting I have used their treadmill and fitness facility and find it exceptional Their personal touch begins with a warm delicious cookie on check-in Enjoy your Stay!

I came in from out of town for a few days to visit with my sister in the hospital From the moment of reservation to check in i was put at ease The guy at the front desk was very friendly (I wish I remembered his name to give him credit) Guest in the lobby were friendly as well

Room was beautiful and very clean! I had breakfast before I left and it was ur normal hotel breakfast but the lady in charge of putting it all together was fabulous she kept everything stocked and was well presented I would definitely go back if I was ever again in Racine Thanks again for a great memory, and a warm bed oh ps BTW at check in they had fresh backed cookies for the guest’s!

Dawn Maritch

My son said he got a room with a hot tub paid 200 dollars so he and his gf could celebrate his birthday He’s not one to complain but I will for him because this was gross and unacceptable for 200 dollars He said there was a spider in the bed and worst of all it was dirty and when the jets turned on it looked like dead skin cells just blowing around the tub

That would have made me vomit and I would have came down and demanded a refund at that point and left to go else where So gross! I told him he should have said something Nasty Have a talk with housekeeping please and do better at maintaining bath tubs showers hot tubs Jacuzzis and so on Maybe even an exterminator from time to time so people don’t have spiders in their beds

We honestly love this hotel Always a great stay when we are in Milwaukee but last few times the cleanliness has been slipping This time found hair in the tub and did not have a pan in the kitchen to cook

wasn’t a huge deal but not what we are use to from this place Still has complimentary breakfast and “appetizers at dinner Food was decent clean tables and sanitizer for your hands great people great hotel check in at 3 checkout at noon which is nice definitely recommend Oh yeah and it’s also in a great location right around the corner from the highway, Grocery store and tons of restaurants

Finally! An IHG property that had a pool and hot tub that was working and even better from 9:00 to 11:00 it’s adults only in the pool area something that more hotels should adapt Staybridge Suites are one of my favorite extended stay hotels this one meets all the expectations I was impressed with the breakfast as well that was not just your basic scrambled eggs and toast

Working Summerfest this property was conveniently located as well and a property I would definitely return to

tony staffeld

Rooms are pretty big but not very well cleaned I was staying for work and over the course of a month and a half I had 4 different rooms (because of work not the hotel I would leave for weekends and come back) all my rooms were different degrees of dirty

Some had stuff like tooth paste on the wall or dirty dishes My last room was my worse A day or two into staying in the room it looked like there was hair in the bed and not my hair Another person I was there with had issues with their room too Looked under my bed for something I dropped and idk if it’s ever been cleaned beforeDirty rooms aside all the staff I interacted with were great Everyone is friendly and will help anyway they canThere is a large paper wasp nest on the backside of the building that should probably be removed

Me And My Family had the Best Experience with Fairfield By Marriott , the staff were always polite and welcoming The Continental Breakfast was Really A Good Variety, My granddaughter loves waffles so she really enjoyed them Our Suite was Really Big I was surprised that the room had a couch that lets out to a bed

Me And My Family Will Definitely Be Coming Back Again

Ariena

I’m only leaving this review because I walked in to drop off a door dash and the lady at the front desk had the worst attitude not sure maybe she was tired but still I even told her have a great night and she hesitated to say it back than said it with such lack of wanting to say it Not sure but if your in the Hospitality business regardless what time it is and whether it’s a guest walking in or not you should be so rude especially when I was trying to be very nice and polite to her

I definitely wouldn’t book a room here if that’s the kind of service I would be given as a guest

Pat G

First time at this hotel & I DO NOT RECOMMEND I left an hdmi with an iPhone adapter & my bikini when I checked out Neither item was turned in

Before checking out I was cleaning up & left the my phone in the room & when I went back for it the male housekeeper was taking it out from his pocket!! Managers never reached out to communicate Very bad experience for the first time visiting We definitely will not being coming back!!
