This should not be a $120+ a night hotel The staff was really nice, but the room was in bad shape The bathroom was gross, some of the furniture was broken, there were holes in the blackout curtains

They also wanted to charge me an “amenity fee”, but couldn’t explain what that was or what it covered but quickly removed it from the bill when I asked about it I feel like they are taking advantage of being one of the few larger/well known hotel chains in the area and charging whatever they can and then not putting any money into maintenance of the property It’s probably the most run down Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed at, and they’re usually my chain of choice

I usually do not review But the lady at the front desk warranted this I have never had a problem with a early check in at a holiday inn

The staff is usually more than happy to accommodate me in a room If they do not have my specific room available they usually move me to a room that is I paid too price for a room because of this I digress Went in today and was completely denied a room until exactly 3pm I even said she could charge me extra to get me in a room Nope , nothing she could do until exactly 3pm Couldn’t even grant me wifi code to work from my truck I travel Monday through Friday and cover all of Texas and I will never stay at this location again Completely rude and dismissive If someone works in reception maybe they should have some sort of people skills Also I looked and they had vacancies last night She could have easily moved me into a available room

Vanessa Gautreaux

Excellent customer service Every staff that we encountered were top notch Beds were very comfortable

Rooms while nicely decorated, were outdated Carpet was torn, headboard had scratches, sheetrock on the ceiling and walls was in need of repair Bathtub had a huge water stain, but appreard to be clean I would stay here again, maybe try a different room to see if maybe it was just room 301 Hallways had a smell Breakfast was not good at all

Our stay here was a last minute thing I was looking for somewhere close to the lake because we were bringing out boat Looked at their website, and decided to give it a try

I called to see if we could get a room The lady told me that because we had a boat, room 7 would be the best option, due to having room to for the boat, and access to power to charge the batteries All worked out well, and we enjoyed our stay Bed was comfortable, and we could smell the detergent fragrance in the sheets (Good) They had ice, and that helped us out We didn’t have time to really walk the grounds due to fishing the entire day, but we will be back Wife LOVED all the kitty cats 🙂

We stayed in a Garden Room with an outside hot tub It was very nice, clean room They had a small coffee maker, and refrigerator in the room

There was no blow dryer, microwave, or iron However, there were plenty of towels, and two robes for the pool and hot tub The property is beautiful and secluded We used the pool and it was clean and well kept There is no restaurant on property working at this time They do have vending machines in the main lodgeI It is about 10 miles out of town and not far from food The beds were very comfortable and the surroundings were perfect I was very surprised that we were almost alone on the property Our room had rocking chairs on the porch that we moved out to watch the wildlife while drinking coffee in the mornings I highly recommend this place for a getaway Be sure to make sure to bring whatever you might need besides the basics for a great weekend

The park is very nicely kept and the managers are exceptional! They are very kind and are easy to get in touch with for many hours of the day and even some hours at night! Very nice bathrooms/laundry room that are kept clean! Also a very nice view of the 14th hole of the golf course next to the pond! Price point is amazing especially with all the commodities included: bathroom/laundry/dog park/electric/water/sewage/WiFi! Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Nacogdoches!

Gady Silva

Awesome park, very nice park managers, very quit and well kept park They have great wifi, dog park and they are right next to a beautiful golf course If you have Verizon then you have full LTE anywhere in the park

We were total 5 people for 1 night stay and they gave us what they call a ‘private suite’ anyways when we walked in the room it smelled HORRIBLE like we the air fresher wasn’t really helping much for few hours Their free wifi kept disconnecting the whole time TV was no help because nothing was playing properly

My family and I were very disappointed with the room and service plus someone like us coming from a big city wouldn’t wanna stay there just saying Big mistake that I didn’t do my research before booking

Hady B

These guys unfortunately don’t want your business nor care about you as a customer I was promised a weekly rate by the so called “manager” until a lady showed up and told him otherwise Why would you say something then change your mind last minute

I was going to renew for an entire week but it seems they didn’t want it and would rather us we leave or move to another room I told them I would leave if they wanted us to change rooms and they still did not care I am certain that the lady at the counter is better off working in a non customer service job and certainly not a motel

Renne and Don are the best!We stayed here for 5 and a half months and wish we could stay longer It’s very quiet and kept very nice at all times The laundromat is a big bonus for those who don’t have one or for those who don’t want to travel into town

It is the perfect place for pets There is plenty of room to walk around or sit down by the lake to fish or eat lunch The owners will help with anything and are always able to contact! 10/10 campground!

John Bagert

We haven’t actually stayed at the resort yet We made reservations for the end of April 2022 on February 7th Within 24 hours we realized we had reserved the wrong resort

When we tried to cancel our reservations, we were told our 50% reservation fee was non-refundable With more than 60 days until our stay was to begin and within 24 hours of making the reservations, we were charged over $250 It may be a great place but be careful when making reservations I’ve never heard of a cancellation policy like this

Mr Don and Mrs Renee are very wonderful folks and I can’t say enough on how great they made our stay there was! It’s very peaceful, clean, easy to setup on the camp sites, updated, beautiful view of the lake and all the property and the fishing was good as well! As I travel for work I only wish most RV sites were as great as this one! I highly recommend it even if it’s for a one night stay or for a couple months as we did Thank you Mr Don and Mrs Renee for make us feel welcomed on your place and treating us like family If ever we are passing thru there we will definitely stay again!

High recommended! Very clean and spacious hotel room, including a comfortable bed, couch, fridge and microwave The price was very reasonable The pool was nice and well maintained

The free breakfast had a large selection I don’t think I’ve had a better breakfast anywhere else that was included with our hotel stay The staff were friendly and helpful

Will Langston

Nice place to stay right before you get to the loop coming from Houston The person who checked us in was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome The room pictures are from the next morning, but we had a king room and a two queen room, so you can see what they looked like even if the beds aren’t made

Definitely good value for the money

Matt Hunter

Nothing special, just clean rooms and a nice staffBest part- 2 rooms for the same price as across the streetBeds were very comfortable

Breakfast was limited, but still good (make sure you get a Texas waffle or two while you’re there!)

VALUE Price including tax was something like $55 total Never have I paid this kind of money at hotel and gotten as much as I did

This place is half the price of similar quality hotels, and has a hot tub! Very niceRoom was inspected via black light The room had definitely gotten some mileage, but all sheets and surfaces were clean Also, no sign of infestation whatsoever Only mention worthy downside is that breakfast options were definitely lacking Overall, very enjoyable I still can’t pronounce the town name, but would definitely stay again 👍

O’munique The Chic

Super 8 is absolutely amazing!! We had a last minute booking, but we still got the room we desired We only book rooms to swim but in this case, our AC had went out at home, and Super 8’s rooms were cool and comfortable throughout the night Only problem we had was the pool had an overwhelming amount of chlorine in it

One drop in your eye would send you running for a towel My small children & I had a very difficult time adjusting I usually swim underwater but I decided it wasn’t worth the pain, and my son had a small skin reaction Overall, the Hotel was very clean, they offered excellent service, and I will DEFINITELY be staying again!!

We loved our 4 night stay here! Very friendly staff always, yummy breakfast Our room was nice and cool, great blankets and pillows We spent a whole day in our hotel room and were very comfortable! Nice shower and water pressure

Only complaint is a slight, mildewy smell that never seemed to go away Room was very clean otherwise Quiet hotel as well This location has convinced us to always try and book with Comfort Suites!

Billy Miller

The motel, though a bit dated, was very clean and very quiet The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable

The price for our room was very reasonable The bed was comfortableThey did, in fact, offer a hot breakfast which was ok The only drawback to this motel is its location It is a bit difficult to get to Having said that, I would stay there again

Londa Mac

This experience has been very bad for Comfort Inn first They put me in a non-smoking room with double beds instead of two Queen then they put us on the third floor and now we’re in a room with no working hot water the water is ice cold they treated me like I was some kind of low class citizen asked me for two credit cards to put on file for damages to the hotel did not ask any other customer for that information like they did me I’m having to Book another hotel in order to get a shower because the water is cold This will remind me not to book at this hotel ever again

My first time in the state of Texas was wonderful!! Me & my children absolutely loved it there! The hotel was extremely clean The house keeping was very nice & so was the owners at the front desk! I honestly wouldn’t choose another place to stay at if I ever get the chance to visit again!! We felt very welcomed! We also enjoyed the pool area every day which was very nice & clean! I actually hated leaving this morning to go back home It was such a wonderful time! I would highly recommend no doubt!

Theresa Arias Flores

Worst coffee I’ve ever had I left a couple things in the room and didn’t realize it until late that evening I was in town all day

If the hotel had called me I could have retrieved my belongings Instead I had to call them and ask if they found those things I got drilled about who I was and which room I stayed in Seriously! How many guests left those specific things behind! This hotel has lost my business
