It was my first time at the Oregon Wine Country, and I truly enjoyed my stay at La Bastide Bed and Breakfast The location is just perfect, as it is located at a very short distance to many vineyards and tasting roomsThe place is very clean and cozy

I stayed at the “Lorraine” room, a corner unit which had a nice fireplace and windows with a view to vines at the Hyland States Walking distance to a very nice tasting room! The breakfast serviced is delicious and the owner (Mark) is very attentiveOverall, a very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to staying at La Bastide again, or recommending enough to anyone looking to visit the Dundee Hills area

I’m leaving a well deserved 5 star review for The Vintages I loved everything about this place and it seemed better than in their pictures I highly recommend booking a trailer with a tub or shower if you can for more privacy than using the communal showers, which we didn’t get a chance to check out

The area was peacefully quiet and very walkableWe stayed on a weekday in spring so it was delightfully rather empty

The Flannel Camper

We stayed here for my wife’s birthday We left the kids with grandma and the 40′ fifth wheel at home and headed out We have driven by this place many times heading to the coast, wish we would have stayed here sooner

My wife kept saying she felt like she was in a dream the way the main street looked The place was absolutely fantastic and so well kept We stayed in the 1951 M-System Special Deluxe It was like traveling in time The trailer was surprisingly spacious and in really great condition The staff was so friendly We loved the fire pit area while we enjoyed an adult beverage The bathrooms were immaculate The pool was not open during this time but it looked like it will be very refreshing when we return There are full timers living on the other side of the park but they are kept separate from the vintage area Riding the cruiser bikes around the property was fun This place is an absolute gem and can’t wait to return

Sarah Wilde

These trailers are adorable! I was very pleasantly surprised that the bed was really comfortable! Beautiful grounds Our trailer was up front and pretty close to the road so we did hear some traffic, next time we’ll ask for something in the V20’s and back, but overall a great little place to stay and close to SO many wineries We’ll be back!

What a beautiful farm! Very friendly staff We enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing all the farm animals The silo room was comfortable and had great views

The breakfast was amazing and they were able to accommodate my husband’s dietary restrictions due to celiac disease (and were very nice about it!) We also had a great time tasting wine in the tasting room while enjoying the beautiful views Can’t wait to go back!

Jessica Edelstein

Very disappointing experience I was very excited for my stay here but my airline cancelled my flight When I called and spoke with the owner and explained that I was stuck in Florida and not making it to Portland that day

she put me on hold and discussed with her husband When she came back on the line she said there was nothing they could do I paid full price, meanwhile I never stayed there They didn’t have to send cleaners They profited off my unfortunate situation that was out of my hands I received no refund or offer to come the next day when I would be able to get there horrible customer service, so upsetting

Emily Greene

I came here for a night away with my partner I LOVE that we could do wine tasting and see all the farm animals It made me so happy

Breakfast was really sweet It was like fine dining and the new Chef, Will takes classic American breakfast flavors and elevates them with a twistOverall review- the farm is perfect and so cute The staff were all 10/10– like so sweet and accommodating and funny The location is excellentOnly downside was the rooms are very average as far as decor and comfort but it was still an amazing experience and a great place to crash after a day of wine tasting

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of downtown and you can walk to all of the hot spots The hotel is very tasteful decorated and feels very inviting and homey The rooms were clean and well stocked

I cannot recall a more comfortable bed in my life I would gladly stay here again and I’m sure I will We love visiting McMinnville

Tristan Weir

My wife and I stayed her for an anniversary weekend We had been looking at homes in the area and, at the time, had a pending offer on a home nearby that we did not know would be accepted I wanted my wife to experience some time in the town she fell in love with when we last visited

If you are planning on visiting McMinnville, no doubt you have been drawn by the beautiful vineyards, farmland, country roads, rolling hills and beautiful vistas But that’s not why my wife and I were most taken when visiting, and now living, in the area We were most taken by the people We can both say, the people in the McMinnville area are some of the kindest and most generous people we have had the pleasure of coming across Gentle, outgoing, and even a bit odd at times — my wife and I joked that we were slowly being indoctrinated into the McMinnville cult – and would eventually succumb to their charms, and be sacrificed or eaten as, the scales were tipped so much in favor of kindness and goodness, it would be the only way to bring balance to the universeThis kind, warm, and welcoming sentiment is on full display at this fine boutique hotel right on Third Street in McMinnville We had opportunity to meet the owners (the Moens) on site one evening We shared wine, engaging conversation, recommendations, and good laughs, and a they shared a few pets for our puppy The personal nature of the interaction with the owners is one you will not get at a large chain hotel outside of town You may not be able to collect points here but you may collect a few corks, and a few new friendsNow that the important stuff is out of the way, what of the lodgings? We stayed in room with a king bed The room was immaculately cleaned prior to our arrival Mask policies were in place The was a bottle of wine awaiting us (to be accompanied by another after we met the Moens) The bathroom bisected the bedroom and the small living area, which was a bit unusual, but a part of the charm of the room The mattress on the bed was excellent, as were the linens We both slept very well The small kitchenette area was far more than you would get at a chain hotel, and we were able to enjoy some snacks while we relaxed between outings The puppy got his own bed, bowl, and treatsThe location is perfect Right on Third street, as the name states, and Third street in McMinnville is exactly where you want to be McMinnville is a beautiful town, still at it’s peak There are plenty of amazing restaurants, breweries, tasting rooms, shops, an arcade, theater — and more, well within a short walk of this hotel On Fridays during the summer, Third street is closed off Restaurant seating spills out the tree-lined street Small stages dot the downtown strip The smell of good food and the sound of great music fill the air People are literally dancing in the street Everyone is out It’s the weekend and everyone is out on the town to celebrate somethingIf you’re into small town Americana, or think it’s merely a memory of a bygone era where times were simple, you will be pleasantly surprised to know it is all alive and well here We found the whole vibe to be intoxicating We’re all extended family and there bounty of wine and food from the local farms It’s like we’re all share the enjoyment of a good harvest, surrounded by those that make it all happenThe Douglass is a local gem The proprietors are kind, generous, and welcoming The personal touch goes a long wayWe bought a home nearby and frequent the downtown area Our favorite restaurant, 1882, is right across the street from The Douglass They don’t know my wife and I by name, but they do know the name of our dog It’s like that Enough said?Book your stay here, and you will be comfortable, secure, and well cared for

Lindsey M

My husband and I stayed in Unit 6 at the Douglas on Third last weekend while spending time in the Willamette Valley We absolutely loved our room, the complimentary wine tasting in the lobby on Friday night, the fact that we could enter the building and our room with a keypad, and the location is perfect! I highly highly recommend The Douglas on Third and we already can’t wait to go back!

The service across the entire resort is wonderful! Beautiful property inside & out that’s well maintained in every way Lots of warm woods, fine textiles, and soft art make the interior spaces—including guest rooms—delicious through and through There are graveled walking trails for those that like a crunchy stroll

Had a fine burger for dinner one night Disappointing that so many soggy fries went along with that Fries aside, this is a glorious place that is welcoming and comfortable at every turn Very enjoyable stay

After checking out, there was a charge in my bank account of a couple hundred dollars I called the hotel and asked why I was being charged and they said it was because there was an ironing board, iron, and pillow missing from the room They accused me of stealing the items and had footage of me and my husband checking into the hotel but conveniently “couldn’t find the footage of us checking out”

There’s no way I could fit an ironing board in my over night bag along with an iron and pillow I called the hotel manager and explained the situation and they only agreed to give me $50 back If you don’t want to get accused of stealing, I would find another hotel to stay at

My wife and I spent a week here for our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better place to stay The room was perfect, with a comfy king bed, heated bathroom floors, beautiful deck, and a big bathtub Dan and Maureen served us a different 4 course breakfast every morning, and everything they made was delicious

They had great suggestions for things to do in the area, and were fantastic hosts to us all week With seemingly endless wineries within 20 minutes, and only a short drive from Portland, this is the place to stay if you are visiting the Willamette Valley

Elisa ‘Ellie’ Nuth

We stayed here for only 2 nights while on a bicycle tour of the Willamette valley vineyards, but wish it could have been the whole week! Accommodations could not have been better: huge comfy bed with the softest duvet I have ever slept under, fireplace, semi-private deck with a view for morning coffee, huge soaking tub, large shower, and the heated bathroom floors were so nice! TV was a nice bonus to veg out after a long day of bicycling and drinking wine The entire home is decorated in a lovely classy yet comfortable way with unique art The large multiple course homemade breakfast each morning was delicious and gave us the fuel we needed to explore the valley each day

We didn’t even feel the need to eat lunch we were so satisfied from breakfast The best part, however, was that Dan and Maureen went above and beyond with their hospitality They responded quickly via email regarding questions even before we arrived, and Dan was even nice enough to give us a ride to pick up our car on the last day of our bike trip so we didn’t have to ride on the busy town highway again They were available the entire time yet gave plenty of privacy I highly recommend staying with Dan and Maureen, and I hope to be back again sometime soon!

Laura Hunter

Wow These guys have created a great situation here!! I came up with 7 other ladies and we rented the whole place… Dan and Maureen took such great care of us!! The whole place is beautifully new and perfectly designed for the bed and breakfast experience Each room has a king bed with the SOFTEST bedding, full en-suite bathroom with shower and separate tub, fireplace, and a private deck

They prepared a dinner for us one night, and the breakfast every day was delicious Thank you for a great weekend And for tolerating our noisy cackling ladies group 🤪
