The staff here is great I helped my friends check in late Saturday night and there were at least a few people working the front lobby Natasha at reception was especially helpful, giving us all the information we needed

Check in was quick and painless (wish all places were like this) The room’s interior was classy and we were able to settle in without issue Thanks for the hospitality!

Sujil Maharjan

The rooms were okay Besides the bed, everything is an add-on even if you are in “The king suite” or the bridal suite was mediocre for the price

I only stayed here because the wedding venue next door provided these rooms for freeOne thing I was most annoyed of was their breakfast When we checked in, the front staff specifically said breakfast until 10:30 am I get there at 10:15 They had taken everything out and there was nothing to eat Apparently its only for the weekend They could have provided right information Hi had to leave hungry in the morning The rooms were mehh I’ve stayed at much better places for the price it was advertised in

RiggsYour LifeAway

I will never go there again Was in area for work and just needed to stay one night The room was out dated and just smelled old

There was a bug in my room and they had wires hanging (pictures) Was not comfortable sleep at all and I was charged extra $100 dollars on my bill Who really cares about anything else (service, food, etc) didn’t even try any of that if you have to sleep in dirty smelling room with bugs and wires all over why stay Don’t stay staying away!

Great accommodations Hotel in very good condition Our room was spotless and refreshed on each day of our 6 night stay

Very comfortable beds (some might say a little firm, but I slept like a baby) No issues with anything (TV, lighting, A/C, etc) during our stay Hotel was very busy on the holiday weekend but had no impact whatsoever on our experience Staff was on top of their game Excellent price compared to some 2 star hotels in the area No free breakfast, but it was nice to see complimentary Starbucks coffee available in the lobby and if your on Long Island you’re not far from a fresh bagel Plenty of dining choices within a couple of miles Will certainly stay here again

Hyatt Regency Long Island made our one-night stay so incredibly special We brought out kid for a special celebration for graduating kindergarten I called ahead and asked the housekeeping manager to make the room special and he said he would make the room have towels folded into the shape of animals and he also made a special trip to get small balloons saying ‘happy graduation’ and a graduation card

The pools were great – indoor and outdoor The breakfast restaurant was very tasty and the service was very nice The dining room / bar restaurant upstairs was just fine for a quick bite – if you want something more private or intimate, look elsewhere for a romantic dinner because it was very much a hotel lobby restaurant as opposed to a restaurant that happened to be in the lobby of a hotel The room service we ordered arrived incredibly quickly though they were unable to make an espresso martini (we managed to survive) All around a very lovely stay

Dotti Gallois

I have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the week because of work I cannot say enough about the great experience Every staff member I have encountered have been the best and friendliest people

And let’s talk about the food at Nu Bar & Lounge I had two meals therethe Long Island Cobb salad with chicken and the Turkey Club sandwich with grilled vegetables every bite was amazing!

Such a great spot! The rooms were immaculate and the staff was so great They were very pleasant to work with and flexible as well, we booked an additional room last minute for a friend to stay as well and they got his room ready very quickly They had bikes, beach towels, they let us store our luggage before check in and after check out which was so nice to be able to enjoy the rest of the day after check out and not have to drag our bags around

They even let us sign out bikes to use even though we were technically checked out as guests already, they still were super accommodating and very generous with the time they allowed us! Will definitely be back!

Great for a short stay in Fire Island It’s a hotel, so all the amenities you would expect, plus a small breakfast spread, champagne hour(s), water bottle, use of beach supplies, towels, bikes, etc It’s actually a collection of several properties (we stayed at Bayside, I believe, it was maybe a 4 minute walk from the main building)

At our room location, there was the shore side private sand beach and lounge, and bar service – which I didn’t get a chance to use The main building has the lounge and dining area The staff was super friendly and very helpful Other than a little issue with the door (which the front desk addressed), it was exactly what we neededA con to note as others have mentioned is that the room size is on the smaller side We were 2 adults and 2 kids in 2 double beds and it was just enough room for usWe stayed a Monday and Tuesday night, so can’t speak on the noise level (Monday had a few night revelers, but nobody else in my party noticed and Tuesday was very calm) The shared wall with our neighbor had the adjoining door, so it wasn’t very insulated, but they were very courteous (we tried to be as well) about noise levels before and after certain hours (we were both traveling with children)The area is right in the commercial district, so no shortage of restaurants, bars, stores, dessert shops also a playground and the ferry are less than 5 minutes away

James Williams

Nice friendly staff but I wouldn’t recommend to be honest due to the size of the rooms!! My best mate booked the rooms with another friend of mine and his wife We had the impression that we were going to have some sort of shared suit you sometimes get where you have a communal area but separate rooms (en-suite bathrooms) We got two rooms with adjoining door which I can only describe as door which didn’t shut properly or lock! Room size I would guess as I’m 6ft1 as around 8ft by 10ft at best (you couldn’t swing a cat inside!!)

The bed was comfortable but the window opened to the outside communal area where everyone came to sit and chat (I loved listen to the two loud annoying ladies discussing their marital issues whilst their husbands where out fishing what a joy!!) The en-suit bathroom was in my friends room so as he was with his wife I gave them privacy and used the shower at the end of the hall along with toilet which wasn’t kept very clean as a lot of people were using it!! To top off the stay we had a fire alarm as some BRIGHT SPARK decided to light a cigarette in the non-smoking room (no apologies from the hotel staff about this which I thought was slightly lame!)Price!!!! OMG I found out late that my best mate had paid $1600 for 2 nights including taxes… not even worth half that amount I get was Fire Island but it wasn’t in the season quite yet However I guess it’s a captive market so these rates can be charged…

For our daughter’s wedding, our guests stayed at the Viana We held our daughter’s wedding-after-party at the Viana and had a fabulously, fresh breakfast the following morning We worked with Erin to help plan the many details that were needed

She was extremely responsive to our emails and able to add her experience to the many questions we had to make the evening run smoothly The staff was very friendly and helpful The bartenders were great-friendly and accommodating All of our guests were very happy!

Bri Barbieri

I just had my room block here for my wedding last weekend and everything was perfect from beginning to end Erin was so sweet and made the process so easy I had to add on additional rooms after my first block was filled and there was no problem at all

The night of the wedding, the shuttle transported people back and forth in a timely and safe manner We even had a little after party at the bar and everyone was so kind and friendly All our guests said the rooms were nice and clean and we enjoyed our honeymoon suite–they decorated with rose petals and had a bottle of champagne on ice with us and chocolate covered strawberries! I wouldn’t have changed a single thing 🙂 thank you Erin and team!

S Michael

The front desk staff was amazing and hospitality was on point The beds were comfortable and the room was clean We needed more blankets and they accommodated our request without hesitation

Hotel in need of minor aesthetic improvements however only noticeable if you are a designer The location is great close to the mall and eateries Overall good experience and will return

We booked a block of rooms in December 2021 and also planned a dinner at the hotel for 25 guests We worked with Rosemarie Tibball, Sales Manager on all the details including menu, room set up for the dinner, guest coupons for breakfast and giving out gift bags during check in Rosemarie was always available to respond to questions and also made herself available to meet with us in person

The hotel was recently renovated The rooms and lobby were modern and spotless clean All the staff including the front desk, server during our buffet dinner and servers at breakfast were all excellent The food for the dinner buffet was delicious Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Ami Qureshi

We were here for a wedding this past weekend I was part of a bridal party so I had no choice but to stay here for the weekend My room was absolutely disgusting

I spoke to front desk manager and they did credit me $50 for the inconvenience I have videos of spider webs all along the window sill, headboard, and lamp There was no cold water, and carpet was sticky While checking out, someone also at front desk told me that they don’t usually put anyone in room 254, and were shocked we were given this room The AC hardly worked unless you put it on really low I understand this is a 3-star hotel, but with a name like ‘Hilton” you’d think the cleanliness would be better I felt like I was in a jail cell Very upset with my stay here Don’t recommend until they actually go through with their renovation

Kristen Suter

The best part of our stay was Josie at the front desk We have never had better customer service! She was kind, took an interest in remembering things we talked with her about, made sure we had everything we needed and was just amazing! The hotel itself is very nice, as well Comfortable beds, clean and a nice outdoor seating area with fire pits

I highly recommend this hotel!

We had our wedding at the Three Village Inn We chose them because for multiple reasons First Tom our point of contact was incredible from the sales process all the way through to the big day

He made everything very east and fun Next, the banquet rooms and grounds are perfect for a fun not to over the top wedding We were also able to sample the food which was amazing and so hard to choose what we wanted Now the day of the wedding went off without a hitch, Ashanti the bridal attendant left no detail undone and was with my bride and myself every step of the way Our host walked us through everything step by step and made us look like we’ve done this many times(we haven’t) If your looking for a wedding, or party venue on Long Island book the Three Village Inn you will not be disappointed

Rachel Karduna

i was at the three village for my best friends wedding most of the staff was very sweet and helpful however, the woman who runs around in a pantsuit was not

she had been nasty to multiple friends and spoke badly about guests theres no reason to be nasty, especially not to guests i’d advise her to try to keep it together before other people start speaking out

We stayed for three nights in early August We had room 12b, which had a balcony on the second floor, which was a nice feature The hosts (Brad and Jeff) were very nice, friendly and accommodating

Only a few blocks from the beach, restaurants, groceries, bike rental, ferry service Outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach Beach supplies were readily available (chairs, umbrellas, towels) The room was clean and well appointed for a short vacation like this for two people, with fridge and microwave, but no stove The microwave did short out the circuit breaker, we made Brad and Jeff aware and I’m sure they’ll address the issue Overall, very enjoyable and we’d stay there again

Anisa

One night was not enough! I came here when I stayed on fire island and it was a great experience Jeff who runs the place was super friendly and accommodating Checking in was very simple and straightforward

The room we stayed in was cozy and super clean Downstairs in the main area there are small snacks and other tolietres to purchase via an honor system they have going on, they also provide beach chairs and towels to take when u head over to the beach for no chargeLoved the outdoor seating, and overall vibe of this place Would definitely come back for more nights and with more people!

Laura S.

Brett and Jeffrey were amazing! From the moment we walked up that boardwalk onto that beautiful cozy, cheerful deck all decorated with Brett’s beautiful well taken care of annuals, which are everywhere! They took care of our every need , and with a smile might I add! The rooms have everything you need You won’t need to bring any beach supplies as they have chairs umbrellas and towels! I would highly recommend the Seashore hotel! You will love it! The views of the bay are also a plus! Thank you Brett and Jeff for everything!! We will be back!

I can’t even believe how amazing this hotel is Pulled up in front and the guy is there with the luggage cart waiting Another person immediately takes an ice cream cake I’m holding and puts it in a freezer

Another person is waiting at the desk to check me in Get to the room the man that brought everything up to the room unloads everything and doesn’t leave until he makes sure everything is as expected I rented a regular room for one night my daughter and 3 friends and an joining one for me I asked if they could have a table set aside for my daughters birthday dinner They called me the day before I arrived to not only tell me they would have a special table but that they would make special menus with her name on it Went over all safe food because we had one child with allergies I can’t even tell you how many little things each person working here did to make our stay special because there were so many! For dinner They had a room to themselves with their own waitress, they decorated the table with different color napkins in each glass and a birthday sign This was all done as standard service, all I paid for was the rooms! The pool is amazing! The desk found out two of my daughters friend had to leave for a short time and they offered to keep the pool open later so they didn’t miss out on any pool timeI’ve never stayed at such an amazing hotel!

Update- I was refunded $50

honestly at that rate don’t bother refunding money, id just take the loss My family got about as much sleep as we’d have gotten if we slept in a tent in the parking lot and it would have been a heck of a lot less expensive I’ll be staying at the Marriott down the road next time we’re in town Do not recommendPositives- sufficiently safe and no bedbugs Also the staff at breakfast was lovely and helpfulNegatives- sticky floor, dirty walls, hair all over the bathroom, no fresh towels, no working vending machines, but the best part was the fire alarm in our bedroom going off at 2am when we were sleeping After calling the front desk, who very nonchalantly told us to call back if it went over again (it did), we had to wait for someone to come upstairs to look at it Apparently there was a miscommunication between them and the front desk because the gentleman who came into our room spent a few moments trying to wrench the thermostat off the wall, leaving piles of wall on the floor before we pointed out the problem was with the fire alarm He removed it and told us they’d replace it the next morning They did not We had to call multiple times to have them send someone up with what I’d consider a basic safety requirementOther notes: everything is outdated, the walls are thin and you can hear everything

Matt Fisher

This is a fabulous hotel with very clean rooms and the most magnificent pool and hot tub! The staff was friendly and took care of all our needs right away and the food at the breakfast buffet was exceptional I highly recommend the omelet station and fresh baked croissants even the kids were raving about all the choices!!! Very spacious rooms and a gorgeous lobby bar with lounge seating all around was the icing on the cake!

1) very strong smoke smell when I just opened the door But The room actually is non smoking room!2) duplicate charge for pet fee Called them asking for refund and they never pay me back!We booked 2 rooms for 2nights on November 2021

The policy says each pet is $25 per night We only have one dog stayed in one room so it’s $50, but they changed me extra $25 for no reason So I eventually paid $75 for pet fee I didn’t realized that until I saw the credit card statement Called them and the person said they can refund me on the credit card Now it is 7 months after, no one contact me and no refund to my accountThe nonsmoking room has super strong smoke smell and when I stepped in the window is opened ac is on fan is on It literally just like someone just smoked In the room one minute ago and left Front desk lady changed the room for me with no problem But I think it should not happened like this if it is NON SMOKING ROOM

Joyce Venezia Suss

This hotel is updated, beds are clean and comfortable, and front desk people are friendly BUT if you are handed a key to a ground floor room, REFUSE IT Our room had an overflowing humidifier and smelled musty, and our window faced the outdoor pool, with no privacy

Our children’s room across the hall was dark, blocked by shrubs next to the parking lot The pool crew was using a loud power washer on the deck while I was trying to rest before a wedding The front desk receptionist offered to try to get me a new room, but it was almost time to get ready so I refused Lesson to share: AVOID THE GROUND FLOOR ROOMS!

I’ve never stayed in a B&B before and wasn’t sure what to expect But, after staying at The Ocean Bay House I never want to stay in a hotel ever again I was greeted by Jen and Liz who are the nicest people you’ll ever meet

The property is stunning It’s situated right on a quiet marina with great views and a gorgeous pool Very serene and peaceful both inside and out My room, which was Bay Shore, was big, bright, airy, well appointed and immaculate Absolutely the cleanest, most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed I was so comfortable It felt like I was staying at an old friends house I didn’t want to leave can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Jen and Liz for everything!

Mary Farley

We stayed at the Ocean Bay House mid December and had one of the best B&B experiences ever It’s a beautifully renovated Victorian House with all the amenities one could ask for The managers Liz and Jen were very professional

During our stay Liz was mainly there making sure our visit was perfect She prepared wonderful breakfasts and allowed us to use the common areas to meet with extended family members She was so hospitable, we could find no areas of improvement Thank you so much Liz!

Very clean and friendly front desk staff I was in town for a funeral and the hotel staff was very accommodating when plans changed They have a hot breakfast which is included in the stay, very nice set up and plenty of seating

In the room there was a pull out bed with everything you needed ! They do allow dogs which i love even though I didn’t bring mine this time Would definitely revisit this hotel if needed

The property is beautiful and well maintained Rooms are clean My stay was on a weekend, didn’t get a chance to sample breakfast

You don’t get room service unless requested and had to ask for towels twiceLocation had quick access to LIE, but is a little off the beaten pathOverall lovely stay would definitely recommend if looking for kitchenette for your stay

Beautiful hotel nice spacious rooms majority of the staff is pleasant and helpful, rooms kept clean , and the hotel is always quiet but be aware of the egotistical manager Travis who has no compassion and consideration of a miss understanding that could have been cleared in 2 seconds, but when certain people are put in a position of Power then they power trip A miss understanding of my kids charging ice cream to my room and my card not being billed because I had to cancel my cards because I lost my wallet resulted in Travis kicking me and my 5 year old daughter out and his exact words were “Things happen good luck”

Good luck to him Karma always comes back

This place is taking advantage of people wanting to visit fire island I was misled and lied to by Elaine and other staff members at the hotel while booking a weekend at there Beach House from having extra beds available to not having adequate dishware and silverware to support not even 4-6 people They weren’t accommodating at all they wouldn’t except anything but cash for the $3500 bill

We were a couple hundred dollars short they wouldn’t even let us put it on the credit card The only thing they allowed to put on the credit card was the thousand dollar security deposit for a service dog that we had with usTo top it all off after all the problems we had they ended up keeping $150 because there was some dog hair on one of the flat sheets This place is a joke stay elsewhere save yourself the aggravation!!!!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here! We came for MDW and it was the best location, right next to the ferry and next to all the best bars/stores/ and restaurants The hotel staff were the nicest ever and so helpful There was also free breakfast in the mornings and it was great! The rooftop deck is adorable to sit out on to relax/eat

I cannot wait to stay here again, loved everyone at Blue Waters!

We had a great weekend at the Blue Waters Hotel The room was clean and the staff were very accommodating – went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay The outdoor deck was a beautiful spot to have a glass of wine, and read a book

Breakfast (served on the deck) was fabulous So many choices and everything was delicious We were provided with beach towels and chairs which made packing for the weekend much easier The location was perfect – a very short walk from the ferry and on the main path of restaurants and shopping I highly recommend the Blue Waters Hotel if you are planning a trip to Ocean Beach!
