Our room was clean, smelled fresh and the room was dry and comfortable from the moment we walked in When you go to the beach you expect linens and the air in the room to feel damp just by the nature of the ocean air, but our linens felt crisp and the bed was so comfortable we could have stayed in bed all dayexcept for this thing called “checkout” Great job Ocean 1

Only gripe was that they did not put any other blankets besides the comforter on the bed, everyone knows you don’t sleep with a hotel comforter 🤢 and three pillows when it’s clearly going to be two people in the room, one more pillow would have been nice Other than that, it was the best price for the location and of stay again

This place was fantastic The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have experienced in a hotel The room was more spacious than I expected – the two queen beds were separated from the dining table and sofa by the bathroom, and there was a ton of counter space and cabinets, even a trash can inside the cabinets for food waste

The balcony overlooking the ocean was lovely!When we arrived the hotel was full, and there had been a misunderstanding with our room, which was not ready The staff were incredibly apologetic and there was a very good reason for the misunderstanding, which I appreciated them explaining – everyone jumped to fixing the issue and were as kind and gracious about the situation as possible, storing our stuff, offering free snacks and late checkout, etc They could not have handled it better When we could go to our room about an hour later, it was immaculately clean and ready for usThe location right on the boardwalk was great for off-season (february), and so reasonably priced Because the hotel was full, the close parking was as well and we needed to use overflow parking, but this was just across the street and took about 4 minutes to walk to There was also convenient loading/unloading parking right across from the main entranceWe had a fabulous time and I can’t wait to go back during the off-season I think during the summer it would be fun if you like to be in the middle of everything, and the outdoor pool and bar and dining options looked great Can’t say enough good things!

The front desk ladies were all rude, non helpful, didn’t act like wanted help anyone If had a question you were bothering them But here them in back just laughing having a great time soon as needed come out front it was back to like sucking life out of you We were enjoying our time at Ocean city so much wanted to extend and double our stay the ladies said had lots of rooms available and open would help us when less busy and get is a better rate, even told us a slightly better rate at first and said go to beach enjoy selves come back before 8 pm and will help us out We come back price went up more than what told us few hours prior and said nah can’t help us now Very sad when want to double our original stay The day we checked out a guy was working even the 2 minutes spent with him was more enjoyable than all the half dozen times had to deal with the girls at the front desk Hope the guy is working if go here

Stayed here for a weekend getaway in early April Pleasantly surprised!!! You never know what to expect when you stay in a new (new for me) hotel but I was thrilled I stayed in the boardwalk part of the hotel (there’s a separate section off the water)

My room was a partial oceanfront view The only reason it’s partial is because the balcony is above Grottos pizza otherwise there’s nothing blocking your view Since it was during the off season, the spotlights for the pizza place weren’t on but I assume they’d be pretty bright in the summer The room was clean, fresh, pretty had two queen beds, living room, nice bathroom, and a kitchen area complete with a fridge and microwave Great customer service- they even printed out resumes for me All the employees were really friendly Also enjoyed the rocking chairs above the boardwalk- so relaxing while watching the sunrise Again, I can imagine things would be much busier (aka louder) during the summer season Would definitely stay here again

This hotel is wonderful The room was the cleanest hotel room I think I have ever been in The front desk was fast and friendly during check in and check out

The view from my ocean front room was so nice Older style windows did obstruct the view a tiny bit, but not really a problem The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious with a nice variety to accomodate any pallet and price Afternoon tea was a pleasant surprise and delicious as well The indoor pool was very nice, but could have been just a little warmer I would definitely stay here again

The bathroom sink had a problem with the drain stopper Beds were okay It isa little noisy from the hall Thin walls Tea time was nice Wanted fresh cup of coffee It was $3 (very small cup) a cup from the lobby/restaurant The microwave makes a very loud noise For the price and what you get, I doubt we will be back We have pics, not sure how to upload on this site

My stay was a pretty good experience overall My room was ready by 2pm and they were fairly nice It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach

My only complaint is that the pool is rather small It isn’t meant for more than 1-2 families/groups I had a group of 7 and most people who walked in preferred to leave than stay When we tried to use the pool another time, there were two sets Of couples with their single child each and we felt like it would’ve been too much to join them The breakfast provided was great! They had a wide variety of options and everyone in my group had something to their liking

They graciously waived the parking fees and accommodated late check out at a minimal fee of $25I would stay here again, especially since they allow pets

We went for a short family getaway at the tail end of off peak season, which was a great idea to avoid the larger crowds The check in process was smooth and quick Being right on the boardwalk was fantastic! We didn’t have to use our car once on the trip

Room was large, clean and views were excellent, especially for the price I wish they there were queen beds instead of doubles, however There was plenty of room for them The hotel is a bit older so we could hear the neighbors and I’m sure they could hear our little one In addition, the room we stayed in could be updated Overall, we were happy with our stay

We stayed on the second floor for 3 days The room was a nice size The staff was pleasant

The complimentary breakfast was nice and hot and many available spaces to eat The bar drinks were also very good I gave it 3 stars because although the drinks were nice the bartender touches the top of the black straws with her hands When I seen that twice, I went with the bigger ones That’s not sanitary The indoor pool area was cold Not the pool the area, so when you walk in it’s cold in there I never got in the pool There were towels left on the floor and chairs About time I went back later that night it was more towels and even on the balcony chairs The biggest issue was the room wasn’t that clean It was a receipt that wasn’t ours in the fridge The utensil drawer had water in it One of the bed spreads had a hole in it The wall near the table looked like it had blood on it As if someone killed a bug on the wall It really grossed me out! This hotel needs an entire new cleaning crew The rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom Also to stay on top of cleanliness in other areas in the hotel

An amazing place Probably one of the best hotels in the OC area We came here with 7 people, for a small vacation

The room we got fit us all perfectly, except for the fact that our 7-year-old had to sleep on the floor But of course he didn’t mind 😉 The beds were very comfortable, the pull out could be better, we put two teenagers on it and they were very uncomfortable I think they could be better, but the service and employees are amazing Never had a problem and all are just all around kind and very helpful The breakfast is good, only complaint is the maple syrup, tastes watery and more like honey then syrup The pools are so nice, and the balcony is so amazing to stand on at night and look at the city, since it faces one of the main roads Would totally come back and recommend 💯 Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Marriott!!

We had asked to change our room due to a cleanliness issue and the front desk attendant was very helpful in assigning us a new room The new room was much better – you could smell how much cleaner it was the moment you walked in This new room was even on a higher floor with a better view

There was a problem with the air conditioner unit in the room where it would randomly turn off We called down about this and the attendant said this was an ongoing issue He said he would attempt to reset it It still didn’t work by morning, but it would randomly kick back on then turn off again Thankfully, the weather was cooler and there was a nice breeze we could take advantage of by opening the balcony door The location is great You are within walking distance of Fagers, Denny’s, and a cafe that serves breakfast on the corner Parking was not an issue The bar on site has nice relaxed seating options and windows that face the bay Overall, we would probably give this place another try in the future Although there were a couple issues, the employees did a great job trying to remedy those issues and never made us feel like a burden

I do recommend an eye mask and ear plugs if you are sensitive to light and sound while sleeping There is also a “pool” (I didn’t use it), though it is more of a wading pool for younger kids which would be great for families Overall, I can recommend this place for convenience to the boardwalk, cost (relatively inexpensive for the area) and friendly service

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 nights in July and it was absolutely amazing Lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and made check in very easy Everyone was very nice and room was very clean and housekeeping was perfect, they came in everyday to change towels and even made the bed and folded my own at home blankets ! I would recommend this place to anyone and it was a bonus that breakfast was included in the stay, and location was located only 1 block away from the boardwalk and beach !

The condition of the motel is decent, and expected, for it’s age Our room was not dirty, just a little outdated It was convenient to both the beach, boardwalk, and other shops along Coastal Highway We had a decent view of the ocean and boardwalk from our balcony The ladies at the counter were friendly and helpful There is a cafe on the 1st floor, but we did not eat there so I cannot comment on it The beds were comfortable, but my wife did not like the provided pillows The small kitchenette was nice, even though we didn’t use it much I’m sure we would have if we stayed for a longer time Our biggest complaint is the lack of towel bars in the bathroom Please add at least 1 or 2 so we have a place to hang our towels and/or clothes Unfortunately, the cost of staying in Ocean City has skyrocketed over the years, so a few nights is all we want We could absolutely consider staying here again in the future

and then returned for memorial day with our 5 year old son They are extremely friendly and accommodating, and we’re wonderful with our little guy The housekeeping staff, bartenders, and all other staff are just as great Our room was very clean, and if we needed anything, they were quick to fulfill the request as housekeeping is only provided upon request now Which was fine for us! My sister, who was staying in a condo close by and her entire family was also able to come spend time with us at this location I want to particularly thank Mario Santos and manager, Jacob Robins for their service that was above and beyond reasonable expectations You see, my friend had booked a Tuesday night and Wednesday night for us, but after a recent ER visit with my Dad, I got the dates mixed up and accidentally came in on Wednesday At first, it looked like we were only going to be able to stay one night, primarily because the hotel was completely booked for Thursday night However, Mario had compassion on us and our situation and advocated for us I don’t know how he did it, but Jacob figured out a way to allow us to stay in our same room on Thursday night at no extra charge We will never forget Mario and Jacob’s kindness to us, nor will my sister and I (along with our families) ever forget the wonderful time we were able to spend together with our Dad Pat, another staff person showed particularly good service as well and were very impressed with the hospitality and kindness all of their staffThis time was enhanced by the outstanding amenities at this location Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the salt water pool with an ocean view, the large common area complete with gas fire pit, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs and games to enjoy, and of course instant access to the beach If you want to spend a wonderful time you’ll never forget with your family, I don’t think there is a better location in all of Ocean City

Our stay was excellent mostly because of the amenities that came along with the hotel We stayed Thursday-Sunday The roof top pool and pool bar were fantastic

We also enjoyed the location as we were right on the beach We didn’t have too much noise at night, which was helpful because we had our 7 year old and this is his first time staying away on vacation The one thing that didn’t sit right with me was the comforter on one of our beds had pink/reddish stains all over it We peeled back both comforters and didn’t use them all weekend because we just weren’t sure they were very clean We would have liked extra sheets available in the closet or just clean comforters I had called the front desk once during our stay and asked for fresh towels and for housekeeping to come change our trash We did get fresh towels so we were grateful, though we felt bad about the trash because nobody came to change it once during our stay By the time we were leaving we had some recycling, etc and just felt wrong leaving it a little messy There was also no complimentary breakfast (of course we knew about this prior) but I do believe that would make for a nice meal touch considering Marlin Moon has excellent food and that’s the restaurant in their hotel Otherwise a very nice stay with friendly housekeepers and front desk staff The bartenders at the pool bar were great Overall a really great weekend for us Thank you!

Our third stay here and first time with new owners Life long OCMD vacationer here!The good: staff is friendly and the Oceana room had new flooring, AC unit and paint We like the new lighter breakfast options

The bad: the room was so dusty! The obvious things were clean, but no one cleaned the debris and dust from prior ceiling work The ceiling fan, shade tops, lamps, tops of mirrors and art has rubble and dust We asked for it to be cleaned again and even tipped $20 After they cleaned again, I went over some of it with a damp cloth and it was still dusty and dirty The mattress is newer but super cheap, pillows are small for a king bed and cheap, the bed had a comforter insert but no cover on it! Toiletries were very low-end Window shades are thin and all night long we could see the boardwalk lights through the windows We paid $549 per night holiday weekend—we hoped for a nicer experience The beach at 10th st has loud music now, we could hear it from our room—not the Inn’s fault but giving a heads upOur AC unit had no power and they tried to fix it but wound up using an extension cord We noticed many electrical hazards—overloaded wall sockets, for example A fire hazard someone should look intoWe won’t be back, even though the staff is wonderful It’s just not that nice any more, especially for the price

Have stayed here 4 times two times with first owners and we where very please rooms where clean breakfast was amazing owners very friendly since the new owners have taken over we stay two more times first I was not pleased at all the floors where nit clean sink was pulling away from the wall shower curtain fell down pillows are ridiculous old and hard so I thought maybe new owners where just styling in so I went this year to give it another try I was very unhappy at $45000 a night for a bed and breakfast I feel that breakfast is not anywhere near what it should be it was more like poor Continental breakfast no coffee after 10 am no coffee or tea offered midday the sink was falling of the wall pillows like bricks floors dirty … I’m sad this place is not what it used to be no good morning thanx for staying nit much on hospitality for the amount we pain would expect more it’s a shame

It has a shuttle bus stop not a full block away You can walk to the liquor store, to food, The Sandbar and they have the restaurant, which is fun! My only issue was where the AC is located It makes being on the balcony hot when it’s running! But the view it’s too beautiful to care too much about this!

The location is close to restaurants, the amusement park you would have to drive to the boardwalk unless you were feeling energetic, the staff was extraordinary helpful and a great sense of humor We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage the rooms were spacious, beds comfortable the only downside, only one TV which was in the living room ( but that’s a personal preference)

The food and drinks at coconuts bar and grill was delicious We really enjoyed the fries with queso sauce I will definitely stay there again

Stayed here one night on a road trip, myself and my traveling companion loved it! The lobby area is so cute and we loved the decor, there lots of places to sit and swinging chairs, small desks to work from, a well stocked snack bar that stayed open late The room was also so cute and clean, and had a huge shower! I appreciated the small details that made the stay even more pleasant and convenient – all the shower products and hand soap/body lotion and mounted on the walls in tubes (just had give the bottle a gentle squeeze to dispense product), outlets right above the nightstand, switches for the lamps were right at eye level I was sad to leave so soon – when I come back to Ocean City, I’ll be staying here again!

It is a charming hotel; its setting on the bay is lovely—but at this time we feel it is quite datedThe furniture is the same as it was 20 years ago! Really, not a lot has changed! The grout in the bathroom needs replacing; the jacuzzi is nice but there are no handle bars in the shower which would be a plus; the rugs are worn and not as clean as I would anticipate; the mattress is old

The Lighthouse Club needs refurbishment and Iam sad to say I will not come here again, will not recommend to my friends, and will be giving any presents to stay here!!

Just had another wonderful stay! Can’t beat the oceanfront room prices in the off season The hotel and rooms are clean and spacious (we had an oceanfront king) All the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating (Barbara and Amanda)The indoor pool was nice and warm

Visited the Hyatt for an impromptu birthday celebration for my husband The staff, the room were wonderful We did have to request bath towels however, but the staff member that brought them up was fast and friendly

My visit here was great! I would especially recommend Barbara when checking in! She really needs to be promoted From the time I walked in she greeted me and was straight forward with the rates Not only did she help me, she even gave my wife a card and balloons as it was our anniversary

She made me and my wife stay relaxed from that moment The Oceanfront Balcony room was amazing, great beach and boardwalk views The room was clean and perfect with cable, smart TV a couch refrigerator and WiFi, everything you could want There is also a 24 hour bar which is not too expensive Breakfast was also provided, there was a great selection of fruit and breakfast foods and coffee Definitely plan on staying in a similar room here in the near future!
