First of all I booked my room January requesting no higher than a 3-5 floor and they put me on the 21st floor Next my room is decorated nicely beach themed but def furniture has probably never been cleaned and there’s a slight odor in room However I do like the pool options

I also like the room has a private balcony And it is spacious Def need to get rid of the carpet in rooms and throughout hotel I am here until Monday so I may add more

This hotel is a pretty great stay! We stayed here for 8 days, the hotel was great, the lobby is great and the staff are very kind and helpful The pool area is large with stuff for kids and adults There is lots of seating, but it fills up pretty quickly and there tend to be a lot of empty chairs with people’s stuff

The suite we stayed in was very clean, well stocked, and the beds were really comfy My only word of concern, the area surrounding the hotel can be very loud Like we were on the 9th floor and the music and sounds from the street sounded like they were right outside So be aware when booking that this isn’t exactly a quiet stay Overall though, this place was great!

Well, it started at the 45 minute “curbside” check-in, down under in the sweltering parking garage Somehow they had not assigned us a room when our reservations were made But after several gift cards, time and apologies, and the promise that though there was no ocean view we would have a nice view of the city, we proceeded to park and unload

Only problem is they sent us to the wrong deck and wrong tower So after reloading all our luggage and having to beg our way into the correct parking deck we finally found our room in the opposite tower of what we were told Room was fairly nice ( supposedly an upgrade for our trouble) but when we opened the curtains, the windows were almost too dirty to see through and what we do see was hideous Pictures attached of our ” nice city view” We honestly tried to make the best of it, but the sofa and chairs were hard as a rock The pools, lazy river and beachfront were wall to wall people We did enjoy walking down the boardwalk and further down on the beach, but this location is not for us We did try to ask for a late check out the evening before we left I was told they don’t do “last minute” latest checkouts and that we should have requested it when we checked in several days earlier when we were in check-in hellWe have stayed in multiple Wyndham’s through the years and have had good experiences This was not one of them and we don’t plan to to bother the good folks at Ocean Walk againHope they can figure it out for other travelers

The room was very neat & clean Beautifully decorated We loved all the quotes & beach decor

The rug & futon chair in our 1st room were old & stained Cleanliness there was questionable 🤔 and the patio furniture needed a good wiping, so I took one star away for those few things, but other than that it was great The front desk staff were polite & helpful The older maintenance guy was also very helpful The view of the beach was great They play a good mixture of music by the pool & bar I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Daytona

Kelly Selander

Great location right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants Nice lobby and cozy well decorated rooms Our room has a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toasters, coffee maker, dishes, and utensils

Two queen beds, small table with chairs, and chairs to use on the small private balcony Very impressed, great value for the price My only suggestion would be that they should give hair conditioner with the toiletries they provide

Julia McCarren

Highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable short stay in Daytona Beach Every single staff member I met including employees at the front desk, bar, and breakfast room were friendly and provided great customer service You get a small breakfast for free

You can order from a nice selection of lunch/dinner and drink options at the bar on the property and sit outside Parking is free and you can literally walk behind the hotel and you are on the beach! There is a good coffee shop and a pizza place nearby you can walk to within 5 minutes

Great hotel, excellent customer service and amenities! We had a wonderful week at Hard Rock and hardly left the property, which was the goal The food is good and they offer in room dining, unlike so many other resorts and hotels now Breath of fresh air with friendly staff people who genuinely seem to like their careers/jobs! Resort is clean, pools are open late and we never had a problem with it being family friendly or super loud at night

We enjoyed the entire week!!

Benjamin Alvarez

The food was AMAZING! The corn dogs are good, the burger was good, and the chicken tenders are the best part The staff is great, the food is great, and the view is great This is the best dinner I’ve ever been too

Since my birthday is near, the waiter sang me a song, to celebrate my birthday They also gave me a free cake 10/10 employees 10/10 food and by far the best restaurant I’ve ever been to If you come out here, get the chicken tenders, there amazing Thank you Hard Rock Cafe for being amazing and truly the best We love you Hard Rock Cafe!

From the moment we checked in we were well taken care ofThe first person we met coming in the door wasJim who was cleaning the lobby He gave us a big hello

Deanna at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and answered the many questions that my friend asked The other front desk staff were all helpful and friendly We had breakfast in the dining room and the cook made one heck of a great omeletteOur waitress, Jordan always greeted us with a pleasant attitude and was sweet and attentiveOur housekeeper, Sherane was another employee which was helpful and had a very kind personalityThe “twins” who helped us with extra pillowsand things we needed were “right on” and cheerfulThe beach was great too! We rented the lounge chairs and umbrella which gave my friend the ability to get the sun while I enjoyed the shadeBefore we checked out we decided to sit on our balcony and soak up the wonderful experience we had over the last few days My friend said to me, “the only thing that would make everything absolutely perfect would have been to see some dolphins” Well …, what we first thought werealbatross out in the Atlantic turned out to bea pod of about 12 dolphins which gave us a great show and a sweet goodbyeAs you can tell, we loved the staff and our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn504

Customer service was horrible I called the day before our reservation to request an early check-in because my daughter was in a dance competition I was told there should be no problem granting that request

When we arrived at the hotel we were told our room was not ready I mentioned the phone calls and again stated that we would take the first available room The front desk clerk said she would put our name on a list and call us when it was ready We left to get lunch and came back to the hotel an hour later (approximately 1:00) We were told there were still no rooms available There were several keys laid out and we asked about the other rooms and they said we could not have those We called another Hilton in Daytona who had rooms available that could be checked into immediately I inquired about cancelling our current reservation so we could move to the other Hilton The front desk agent said she would have to ask her manager and disappeared to the back for several minutes During this time our credit card was charged for the room even though we had not been allowed to check in The manager came out and said that we could not cancel our reservation because our credit card had been charged At this time my daughter was getting very anxious and crying because she was afraid she was going to miss her solo routine in the competition The front desk agent told us we would have to wait elsewhere for our room Fortunately we were able to find a teammate who had been allowed to check in early (at a different hotel) and borrow their room to prepare for the competition We went back to the hotel again at 3:30 and were told the room was still not ready, but because we were gold members they were giving us two bottles of water At 4:15 (check-in time was 4:00) we were told by the same agent and manager that the room was not ready At this time we had been waiting 5 hours for our unoccupied room to be cleaned The next shift of front desk agents came in and we tried again, explaining the day This agent immediately spoke to someone on a radio ‘Our’ room and several other rooms had been sitting empty and clean all day waiting for someone to inspect them Not only had the earlier agents and manager been too lazy to help us, they charged our credit card before we were allowed to check in so we could not cancel our reservation This is the poorest example of customer experience I have ever received I will be certain to share this experience with our dance studio owners and competition coordinators so that no other dancers make the mistake of staying in this hotel

Matthew Walton

The night staff saved my star rating Jeff, Noel, Louie, and the most amazing chef Monica! Before meeting them, I was ready to checkout and go to another hotel Not because of the accommodations, or anything terribly wrong with the place

Nope It was because of an interaction with one of the cleaning/ maintenance guys He thought he’d holler across the room and tell me I could not take two spoons for my son and I’s cereal He was so far away that I had to ask if he was even talking to me Maybe he was grasping for some kind of power or needed to feel important at the moment I don’t know But that interaction made me want to pack up and not stay any more nightsThat evening things got better Louie was a great bar tender, and host Monica made the best Caesar salad with chicken I’ve ever had, pasta, chicken sandwich, and grilled cheese! She’s a great chef! I would come here just to eat, because everything was so goodJeff at the front desk became a friend to me He was so helpful, and made my son a paper airplane Noel made us feel very welcome Because of the night staff, I’ve gone from 1 to 4 stars, and won’t count this hotel out if we ever need to stay in Daytona again Thanks Night staff!Reasons it’s not 5 star:No discounts for a block of 10 rooms, so half our team stayed somewhere elseHaving to bring down our dirty bathroom towels to get new onesLack of stuff to do for young kids when weather is bad

Beautiful hotel and perfect location! Staff is very friendly and helpful They will do whatever they can to make your stay worth it The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy

You also cannot beat the price I gave 4 stars due to the tight parking but it is manageable I also had issue with them giving us the wrong room We payed for ocean view but they gave us a partial/ city view They ended up moving us to a ocean view but it was not a king suite like we payed for

Cool Beans

Worth It!!! First off is parking this place would have got 5 stars if it wasn’t for the parking A lot of people park in their lot that aren’t supposed to so people have to wait for them to leave in order to park because the hotel doesn’t have people towed away for parking there The front desk people are very warm and receptive

Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready for check in until 4:30 and every time we asked about it they said someone is working on it Having said that it was sooooo worth the wait The room is spotless, I used my ultraviolet light and found no signs of any kind of stains or dirt It smelled fantastic when we walked in You can tell housekeeping takes a lot of pride in what they do It lead out on to a descent sized balcony which has the most amazing ocean views We went with a city/ocean view room it was much cheaper than a full ocean view room and we still had an amazing view There is a safe, microwave and fridge in all the roomsThe people that work here are all very friendly The pool was clean but cold so we didn’t go in There is every kind of shopping and eating you can think of within a 3 minute walk It’s located right in the center of everythingOverall this was a great experience and we will be back

Amy Dalton

The staff here is unbeatableThey’re always trying to help any way they can We rented 2 room & request adjoining rooms & got exactly that

The rooms were both very clean, no bugs or anything We did have a leaky shower in one of the bathrooms but that wasn’t a huge deal, after all, it’s not our water bill 🤷🏼‍♀️😅We had to get new blankets after a mishap by one of our kids and it was quick and painless They handed us new blankets in the lobby and we tossed ours down the laundry chuteThe kids had a fantastic time in the pool, it goes from 3ft 6″ to 10ft 6″We used a chase as a side car for our 1 year old and that worked out fantastically for usBreakfast was delicious! Waffle makers, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, muffins, etc Saved us a lot of money feeding our whole crew each morning! They don’t have a lot of parking directly in front of the hotel but we were always able to find a spotThis is also on a non drive part of the beach so we felt so much safer with our kids Very worth it and would definitely stay here again!10/10

We had a great time this week at Seashells Walked into a spotless and sanitized room We had room 400 for 4 days end of bike week/beginning of spring break

Fantastic 180° view from the living room The room came equipped with everything we needed for our family The pool and deck were clean and so close to the beach Housekeeping brought clean towels every day We had a kitchen with a full size fridge and cooked breakfast and lunch every day The front desk manager really worked hard to make sure this place was everything you could want for your Daytona getaway A++

Let me start by saying they have 41 rooms and 39 parking spaces You do the mathMold everywhere

Melted, broken oven that is 100% a fire risk PAINT over RUST in the MICROWAVE Rust everywhere, actually The only explanation could be an old building mixed with doors being open which leads to sea salt blowing in… but why would you allow people to pay to stay in such conditions? Poor ownership who doesn’t care about the state of the property (perhaps only money?) has led to a motel of horrorsThey advertise pullout sofas to sleep two extra guests A member of housekeeping told us we cannot use it because they have too many broken or dirty ones, so they provide air mattresses instead We went and bought a different one because we weren’t about to risk sleeping on thatSpeaking of housekeeping, they are severely understaffed apparently, so you can only get services by asking someone to come, and even then supplies are extremely limited The property is absolutely LITTERED with debris, and good luck using that pool Yuck We went down by the pool for a few minutes and there were mold spots on the side of the pool framed by a woman angrily cleaning her own room on the first floor, taking things from the housekeeper’s cart and yelling to her husband about how they will never stay there again SameMy mom went to go talk to the woman in the office when we checked in because my mom was horrified that they would ever rent this room out to anyone The woman at the front desk is no help at all; she couldn’t understand why we thought the oven was a fire risk Seriously? It has clearly already caught fire… you’re toying with people’s lives and belongings with this!We left and went to the Daytona Beach Regency Don’t stay at Sea Shells, it’s a literal dump

Ryan Stephenson

The rooms where nice and the location was great However during my stay the water was out for about 4-6 hours and was very Inconvenient Our room was not once actually serviced although I watched house keeping go into our room from the pool they where in there for a good 20 min idk what they did because beds where not made, no towels where replaced, and the trash was not taken

Additionally, the staff was very rude I saw someone using ice to fill their cooler and assumed it was okay Yes I did the wrong thing unknowingly but instead of being politely corrected for a Innocent mistake I was yelled at like a child!! A older lady walked up to me and screamed at me saying she knows I’m filling my cooler I apologize and tried to say I didn’t know and then she pointed at the sign Okay I get it but to just yell at a grown adult like a child and to be that aggressive over ice is ridiculous Would not stay here again unless it was the only option in the area

This hotel is very nice The location is excellent!!! Right on the beach and has private access Some of the hotel is a bit dated but you overlook that because ALL of the staff is so willing to help and be nice

(even though short handed)There is no housekeeping right now which we missed because we like a daily clean room especially with all the sand that comes in with youThe large lazy River pool, heated indoor pool, hot tub, game/craft room, snack bar are very convenientI am very hard to please but I’m glad we stay here with our kids Will consider doing this again

Kathy Williams

Absolute perfection, celebrating a birthday weekend Staff were courteous and accommodating, happily taking care of a hot water issue as soon as we called Matthew, on the beach, was always ready to help set up umbrellas or grab a couple extra chairs when needed

He even brought out a surprise for the birthday girl and serenaded her! The room was clean, with great soaking tubs, an adequate kitchen, and plenty of room to spend time with wonderful friends We’d definitely go back!

I have been coming here for about 20 years Typically spend a week each summer While the facility is a bit on the old side it is well maintained

This is a wonderful and relaxing place to stay You literally walk out to the beach from the hotel Pools are very nice Near to lots of nice restaurants Highly recommend it All of the rooms have beautiful floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean

Jo Lagaceiszp

Beautiful, well run, oceanfront property! Front desk employees are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, especially Kimberly, who made my every wish come true! Maintenance issues were handled immediately, and every aspect of this resort pays attention to detail! Ongoing remodeling is a good thing, but who notices that while looking at such a beautiful view! Don’t hesitate to exchange here, you won’t be disappointed!

Dave “Dath” Atherton

As current Time Share owners, we recvd an invite to stay at the Spinnaker Resort for 3 nights if we would listen to a presentation When we got there, we were directed to a smaller hotel 5 miles down the beach where we would stay for those 3 nights We arrived at the Tropical Winds Hotel

In the 1960’s it was probably beautiful, but 60 years later it has lost it’s resort feelWe spoke to the salesman doing the presentation about the accommodations, he was apologetic, but you only get one chance to make a first impression Sorry we never go a chance to stay at the Grand Floridian which looked clean and like a vacationThe photo attached shows the Tropical Wind bathroom The small bluish wedge between the toilet and the door is a bar of hotel soap

We really enjoy this Hotel It’s right on the beach but not beside the crowdThere is a returning Guests discount as well as a 5 day discount

There are 2 pools,A small restaurant, and easy beach access You can get a regular ocean front room or a suite that isn’t that much more money that resembles a two bedroom apartment The rooms are older and not spectacular but the overall experience and price is well worth itWe’ve been here 5 times and plan to return again

Martha B. Coleman

Enjoyed my stay even though the service wasn’t up to the standards to which I am accustomed

the telephone in my room didn’t work and was not fixed after reporting the problem x2 to the front desk The television automatically turned off every couple of hours faithfully whether I was watching or not Reported to Maintenance he came and wasn’t able to fix the problem He stated that he would replace the television but NEVER did Reported the problem to the front desk x2 with no success The staff and personnel were all professional and friendly but demonstrated little follow through I spent most of my visit enjoying the view from my ocean front room and balcony

Chas Chillout

Just stayed at this hotel for Jeep Beach 2022 and like any of the older hotels you can expect some imperfections However, with that being said, I recommend this affordably priced hotel Staff were great and the cafe gives you the ole diner style cooking

The oceanfront room gave the most amazing view The hotel also offers convenient direct beach access

Booked the room and it looked super nice, they made it look and sound like an amazing place to stay for the price We stayed 3 nights for $400 We arrived at the hotel and the women at the front desk were rude

We were asking basic questions and they acted miserable for having to answer our questions We entered our room and the smell was horrible it smelled like years of nastiness being covered by a air freshener that was also old The room looked like they had done the bare minimum on cleaning for the past 10 years Curtains looked like they were hung in the 90’s and haven’t been cleaned one time Walls had stains and so did ceiling and carpet The tub in the bathroom was nasty so unless you wanna clean it yourself don’t plan on taking a relaxing bath We had the AC as low as it would go and it was still super hot in the room we had to sleep with the “balcony” door wide open I say “balcony” because we were told we would have a full sized balcony and it was literally the size of a window seal two people couldn’t even comfortably stand out there The people above us were smoking pot (not the hotels fault) just saying There is a lot of pot smoking going on in that hotel and nothing being done about it so prepare for that The ice maker doesn’t work in the fridge There is no oven The indoor pool and both hot tubs were closed the entire 4 days we stayed for maintenance and we weren’t informed until we arrived Outdoor pools were nice Cabana is the best part about the hotel The arcade is decent Jo at the cabana was super friendly and she made some amazing drinks! Very easy walk to the beach I personally will not stay here again but if you can look over all this for a decent price then there ya go

Will Moxon

I would just like to personally think Jeff in the bar area for going above and beyond to satisfy any and all customers that came in for a drink He was respectful and courteous and that alone should determine the 5/5 stars but it was more than that

He had a welcoming personality and was a genuinely nice guy and for that alone I would give 6/5 stars if I could Thanks again Jeff for not only making my night so much better but my whole stay just that much better Definitely will be returning without a doubtYOU ROCK JEFF!-tall will with the fedora and white shirt8)

Debra Reeves

We rented a one bedroom one bath 3rd floor condo The couch made out into a bed Slept 6

It was very disappointing that the kitchen DID NOT have a oven, especially since I specifically asked when booking I had brought pizza and other stuff to cook for the GBabies There was a small balcony that had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool area The pool area was nice and the kids were able to enjoy the heated pools during the cool days I loved that this Resort was located in the less crowded area of Daytona After two trips to the desk I gave up on getting sheets to fit the sofa bed and used two top sheets After 4 trips to the desk I finally got pool towels for us to use as bath towels The condo was in need of a thorough cleaning The bathroom was very moldy Over all I felt the cost was high for the unclean accommodations we received

Really helpful and friendly staffWe stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed itThe hotel was refurbished a few years ago, but the rooms are the original size, so on the small side, but comfortable

The rooftop bar has great views and atmosphere A good place to watch the sunsetIf there’s live music or a function on the roof you’ll hear it in the rooms, but they supply free ear plugs at check-inLots of parking

Samantha Ingram

The front desk person is very personable! Excellent service! Decor throughout the lobby and halls is very cute and detailed (even more so because Christmas decorations are still up) Stayed for one night on a weekday, so we did not have any issues with loud music that are often noted in reviews from people that stayed here on the weekend Although, I would’ve liked to have checked out the rooftop bar, which wasn’t open

Heads-up if you’re not familiar with Daytona Beach – lots of places are closed on Mondays! Our room was nice and clean, including the bathroom The beds and pillows were very comfortable (I like that they were soft, but if you prefer firm mattresses you might not enjoy them) The location was great because you’re close to / between the “most famous” sign and amusement rides It’s only a short walk (2 blocks) from the beach The closet was pretty big and the room had a Keurig in it They have a pool (still maintained and used in December), although we did not go in it Would stay here again and recommend to others

Megan Bowman

My husband and I stayed here Tuesday and Wednesday night with our two kids, no events took place on the rooftop so it was quiet Pool is small but clean and nice Rooms are small but also updated and clean

Beds were firm but comfortable Access to ocean is across the street about a 5 minute walk I can’t leave a review for the bar or restaurant as we did not partake in either of them No breakfast and no microwave in room Mini fridge in room, coffee machine, iron & hair dryer, our room had a large shower I wouldn’t come back with kids on the weekend but we may come back alone as a couple for a weekend trip

We stayed in rm 701 absolutely amazing Just wish the pull out couch wad a Lil bit more comfortable But view wad amazing

But know if you need fresh towels than you have to wait for morning and drop off old towels in basement ad there wax no housekeeping Rm was big enough for my 2 and 8 year old to have space to play and view wad amazing

Bree Gitzinger

This place is absolutely disgusting There was mold and musty smell coming from my unit when I checked in They switched me to a new unit, there were bugs in the unit and the smell persisted

They came in to check smoke detectors and left our door open for hours with no one around! When I spoke with the manager they were absolutely unprofessional and did not compensate me when I had to stay somewhere else I would NEVER recommend staying here I will post pictures

Love hotels like Symphony Great place for a quick getaway The room and grounds were clean and well-kept

They made the process of checking in so easy we never need to even go into the office The place had everything we needed The view from our room, 401, was next to perfection So injoyable just to hang out in the sun and listen to the surf Hope they don’t sell out to the corporate hotels, as many in Ormond have done We will definitely be back again

A Beacon in the Storm! I have a place near the Symphony Beach Club and learned there might be an issue at my home I was driving 4 hours and uncertain what I’d have to deal with upon my arrival I called the Symphony, spoke with the Manager, Dante who was extremely kind and caring and said they’d have a place for me to stay if needed

What an absolute relief! They are the absolute nicest folks! Thank you Dante! LOVE the Symphony Beach Club! AND it’s beautiful lemon color 🙂

Kim Trojanowski

The room wasn’t what was advertised Beware! Never received a confirmation email or text, but did get a confirmation number when we booked, therefore when we arrived

no one in officetook a bit to figure out where we were supposed to go Had to ask another guest We did contact the office upon arrival They couldn’t or did not offer us another room, but did tell us they would refund us if we decided to leave At that pointreally Where would we go at the last minute? Pool was small but accommodating OhNo Wi-Fi as advertised!

This is one of the best 4-star beach front hotels at Daytona We read lots of negative reviews before we went, but we actually had pleasant stay for 3 nights We like our ocean front room at North Tower

Amazing ocean view The board walk down the beach front is very nice to walk around The plaza next door has lots of shops Yes, self parking is $30 per day across street, but you can go in and out freely throughout the day There are no beach chairs provided by the hotel But there is beach chair rental you can use Some things to improve: 1) Although lobby and hallway are super cool, the room is not that cold People like staying in cool will feel bit warm I guess it has a lot to do with the excessive FL summer heat coming through the window I actually feel fine with room temperature 2) Bathroom is really showing age Sink and shower is fine to use Overall, we feel the stay is pleasant and worth how much we paid

Mary Unegbu

Absolutely love this hotel Well built with a beautiful ocean see front and cabana style rooms on the first floorA lot of stores and restaurants on the property and I found it to be very kid friendly

Some of its best features include the daily room service and discounts on activities you can enjoy during your visitThe price is also reasonable for what you get and valet parking is immediately available upon arrival to the hotel I definitely recommend to anyone!! 🙌🏾

Katie Genereau

Our view was beautiful It’s location is worth gold With 5 kids we made the parking a block away just fine

Our room was spotless until we brought in some sand on our shoes The staff was so friendly in the hallways The person who will make us come back though was Eeron So professional, detailed in explaining our account and classy as heck Seriously an asset to this busy hotel on spring break week!! Thank you for making our stay comfortable and unforgettable!!!

My first night here and I have to say my cottage was spotless! You can tell it’s been here for a long time but they really kept it up nicely I have a dog with me so I prefer to have a cottage with a little more privacy And these are just beautiful

So far so good all the people I’ve talked to that work here while checking in or making my reservations have been just wonderful! I highly recommend this place for some r&r

Heather S

What a little gem! I found this place on the Hotels Tonight app and I’m so happy I did This is now my go-to place to stay when I come to FL to visit my grandma Steps to the beach and every room is angled so everyone gets an ocean view

Another big bonus is that dogs are allowed The laundry is easy to use and overall everything was so pleasant I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful hotel right on the ocean

nfultonviolins

What a wonderful place Right on the beach, and close enough to food and shopping The beach itself was immaculately clean, and the property, while giving a 60s vibe on the outside, has been updated and remodeled on the inside to a wonderful standard for a beach vacation

The room had two queen beds with good mattresses, and the view of the beach and ocean was great Check in and staff were wonderful I cannot recommend this place highly enough Note – if youre looking for a 5 star resort this is NOT it, but if you’re looking for a beachfront hotel that is nice and well kept, stay here

Even the pull out couch was a memory foam mattress and my 10 year old could not have been happier They text you during your stay to see if you need anything replenished The staff and the cleaning lady Pattie was awesome! Can’t wait to come back next year! ❤️❤️

I stayed here last week John the manager goes out of his way to accommodate and make sure that everything is to your liking Leah at the front desk and counter checked in with me several times to see if I needed anything and I have to say she does an amazing job Thank you John for the continued great work that you do it my home stay here in Daytona beach

I look forward to my next visit

david knowlton

The room was nice an roomy It is walking distance to many thing to do, This is great on an average day however if you where there on motorcycle week it would be noisy My son loves the dj by the pool and the pool slide

The parking garage is under construction and traffic flow gets routed through very narrow paths which well less than ideal There is an outdoor parking area if you can get a space Access to the beach was great and the kids enjoyed room with pool table and air hockey Room

Hotel was great Upon arrival the General manager came up and checked us in He immediately made us feel welcomed there and made small talk

He was nice and spoke each time we passed by him during our stay All staff was nice when approached all the way to the pool guy/maintenance man Room was spacious and no complaints We had the 1bdrm suite city facing and it accommodated our family of 6 perfect Pool was a little small but never felt too crowded Hotel was right on beach Only complaint would be the tiki bar outside by pool staff They weren’t very attentive Several times I walked up with several staff standing there with no “hello” or “hold on one moment” and when we did order food, took a long time to get (about 1hour) Overall though, we very much enjoyed our stay and definitely would return! Keep up the great customer service, as it’s hard to find these days!!

Frannie P

Nice view and fairly clean Took longer than expected to get the room When we got the room it smelled pretty clean

During the night we kept smelling a doggy smell Carpet smelled of dog Sprayed it again and again over the night Toilet continue to run unless we jiggled the handle Shower faucet nearly came offRooms are big, with a great view of the oceanBreakfast is fresh and has a varietyNo perks for silver members, other than early check in late check out Some of this chain have things like free snacks in the evening, hot cocoa etc, this did not But we had a nice stay Breakfast was OK they had a limited food bar but the chocolate waffles were a good choice

The hotel itself is a great location right on the beach with balcony view We were really excited to stay at this hotel based off reviews but this place was lacking in cleanliness We understood going in it was under some renovations but this was room cleanliness

Places in the room were very dusty and floor was dirty upon our arrive We found this out when we placed our 1 year old down after we checked in and a couple mins later her hands, knees, and feet were caked in dirt, not dust, but had to scrub off dirt We had to make adjustments after that It was nice to have a kitchen and full size fridge but anything we used we had to make sure to wipe down first based off dust and dirty floor Couldn’t trust anything was fully clean Hopefully next they will update furniture in rooms as well but all it really takes is for the room to actually be properly cleaned

Melissa Tischler

Love that every room has ocean view and private access to the beach Rooms need a little updating, especially the bathrooms They are currently working on outside patio/firepit/bar

Resort doesn’t enforce their signs about not using towels/personal items to save pool chairs/tables Unless you are up before 7am, to get a table/chairs, you won’t get one TVs are small and the stove were tiny and only worked on high heat, which was hard to cook on Had issues with our AC the first night, but maintenance was prompt in getting unit replaced and working in timely manner

Lisa A

I love the Maverick great place to stay and relax by the shore The only thing I would correct is the fact they took most of the umbrella’s away from the lounge chairs I understand they are doing upgrades but not everyone want to be in the sun all day, they could put temporary umbrellas by the lounge chairs until the project is finished
