I was recently there for an event When I arrived and checked in the staff was friendly and welcoming of me and our group even having decorations supporting our group at the front desk The problem comes during the event and after

During the event they had a few drink stations set up for us Depending on what drink station you went to depended on how much you were charged and what size glass you were given They were also supposed to have water stations set up for us they did not, instead had limited bottles of water and charged two dollars a bottle After our event was over in the coming days they decided to trash our group and say that if they would of known what kind of group we were they wouldn’t of let us in They knew fully what kinda of group we were and even did research on our group before owing us having our event Our event was a black tie event and we were the respectable group that we said we were Even some of the staff said that it was nice to have a group like our there that was so nice and friendly, instead of other groups that they’ve had where police had to be called In the end I would just say I wouldn’t recommend anyone to have an event at any Marriott if this is they way they treat there customers

The point of a hotel is convenience and this hotel failed to be convenient Bistro hours were not posted anywhere on the menu in the hotel room Turns out they close at 10am, yet online it says 6:30am to 10pm

Even though breakfast is over coffee or drinks should still be an option There also wasn’t anyone at the front desk and the checkout process seems lazy (aka just drop off your cards here) For $130+ a night I would assume the service would be better

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as a vacation before our first baby arrives and it was perfect! The whole vibe of the hotel was spot on for staying somewhere just a little more special than a regular hotel The rooms were spacious and big bathroom shower area We loved our little balcony to relax for breakfast

We have stayed at Kimpton hotels in the past and this one was another great stay Staff was very friendly and I love the texting option if you need anything! The outdoor pool was phenomenal, it was busy but we knew it would be Food, drinks and DJ were great I would say I wasn’t expecting as many children as there was there Know going in there aren’t many parking options around the hotel (maybe a parking ramp a few blocks down) But you will need to valet your car, which we happily did We went to The Committee Chophouse, the Cottonwood Room & the coffee/breakfast cafe , all were fantastic! Thanks for making this a great and relaxing stay for these parents to be!

Liz Kelly

Exceptional service and accommodations! My husband and I recently stayed 6 nights (Dec 2021) at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel in Omaha, NE! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the valet staff to the final checkout at the front desk, everything was perfect The entire staff was professional and attentive, providing service beyond expectations and always with a smile The restaurants on site are top rated and highly recommended … we enjoyed them all

Last but not least, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and meticulously clean We can’t wait to visit again, hopefully in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool!

Steven Z Johnson

We have stayed at the Cottonwood multiple times since they opened We were excited to have a destination/stay-cation hotel in Omaha Top notch food at the Committee Room and top notch drinks at any bar in the hotel

In addition the facility is fantastic However, the most wonderful part of each experience is the customer service From the front desk to house keeping – phenomenalThis last weekend was a disappointment The facility is starting to show some wear The trim was starting to come loose in multiple areas of the room and a few small other details Not anything huge, but it’s already starting to show some significant wear after 2 years It happens at every facility but the real disappointment was the staff We have been blown away in the past by the staff’s thoughtfulness and attention to detail This time between the pool staff and front desk was indifference Valet was good and we tipped accordinglyIf the GM reads this – we understand trying to staff a hotel right now has to be a huge challenge We get it, but it’s the treatment after the stay that is alarming My partner left a dress hanging in the closet We noticed as soon as we got home and called Two days later we have called multiple times and talked to the front desk We have had to do all the calling and get no call backs We get it, it’s on us – we left the dress However in the past the customer service would’ve been so good and responsive This time around it it feels like no one even cares I get that mentality at a Hampton Inn or something like that However not at a price point like the Cottenwood after us doing all of the calling, nobody can find the dress Maybe some other patron took it, who knows stuff happens My partner ordered another dress, but we sure would like some interaction from the hotel and the staff to have the same kind of enthusiasm we love and kept us coming back

Matt Young

Almost 5 stars We stayed here 2 nights The employee that checked us in was great, very friendly and accommodating

They have a free shuttle that we used, the driver was awesome! Very nice The room was clean and recently remodeled My only complaint about the room is that the fan on the A/C would not stay on It’s nice they have an enclosed walkway to get to the casino Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of hot and cold items Our last day, the employee in the breakfast area was rude and took all the food away before we could get everything we wanted When we checked out, the employee was also very short and not friendly, almost seemed inconvenienced that we were checking out Overall a good hotel with some great staff and some not so great

I was very pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn in Council Bluffs We were traveling home to Utah from Michigan and due to a lack of sleep the night before, we decided to cut our planned twelve hours of driving down to ten hours Exhausted from driving all day, we just wanted a nice place to relax

The Holiday Inn was a great choice! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was so comfortable I slept so well and the breakfast was very good We will stay here again

Adele N

Checking in was a breeze Front desk personnel was pleasant Inside the room was absolutely not acceptable

We traveled from WA state for a family trip and this was the most disgusting hotel of the trip Sheets were nasty, pillow had mascara and pink lipstick on it, other people’s long hair on them Bath wouldn’t drain for the life of me, it was filling up fast showering and we felt gross showering in it Kids running on the hallway late but that of course isn’t the hotel’s fault that much, makeup on sheets that were supposed to be clean is! First and last time staying at Holiday Inn

If you’re looking for a wedding venue, DO NOT book with this place They quoted us an amount we could work with and repeatedly upped their pricing in different ways They had a 25% service fee that was never discussed until after we put down a deposit and booked with them and it was on every single thing

It was added to the room rental, the catering, and the bar Not just one 25% flat fee on everythingThey also were extremely hard to coordinate with for months I tried emailing and calling multiple times and it took forever to get my meeting with them for plans and a meal tasting On the day of my wedding, there was no one available to help us set up or tell us what was going on So we just had to fend for ourselves We had lots of family coming from out of town that stayed the whole weekend as well With all of the money that we brought to their business, I would’ve expected more professionalism and understandingOn top of all that, after the wedding and everything was done and our final bill was paid, they sent another bill that needed paid I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism and all of the extra charges that were never discussed beforehand

Cher Satisky

Our stay was great I want to highlight the chef that made the omelets to order for us every morning for three days Stephanie was wonderful, outgoing and her food was outstanding! The hotel was overrun with kids and she was a trooper! I looked forward to her breakfast every morning

I hope this review gets to her! The ladies cleaning up after all those kids were amazing as well!

While we were at this Hampton Inn we were hit with a thunder storm The hotel was full since there was a baseball tournament going on in the area The person at the desk was very polite and welcoming

Thank youMy wife and I have travelled across the country many times On our last trip we hit a deer on the second day going from New York to California We were stranded in Akron, Ohio for six nights while our car was being repaired When we got our car to Serra Honda (Akron), we could see a Hampton Inn from the repair bay and we decided to stay there while we waited for the car to be repairedWe also travel with our beloved Black Lab, Greta Most of the Hampton Inns were pet-friendly and had grounds which were conducive to pets Greta seemed to enjoy each room since they were set up in a similar mannerAfter our car was repaired we decided that we would stay at Hampton Inns while we travelled cross-country, both ways The Hampton Inns are all pretty similar and all are pretty comfortable What set them apart from each other are the personnel and the morning breakfastSince I am rating each hotel, I will rate these specific criteria (5- best/1- worse):• Front Desk/Check-in: 5• Room Cleanliness: 5• Appropriate Pet Areas: 5• Morning Breakfast: 5

Mark Jantzer

We had a very satisfactory experience The staff was especially accommodating with help finding local places and granting a late checkout so we could get into travel clothes before heading to the airport The breakfast has good variety and quality

Location is really convenient to Offutt AFB/US Strategic CommandThere are upgrades underway to address some wear and tear at the facility We would be happy to return to this hotel!

I loved my stay at this embassy The location is amazing, very very close to the old market and downtown The staff were great, friendly, and helpful

The room was clean, modern, and comfortable I loved that it has a walk-in shower Breakfast was good with food out and made to order if that is what you want The place is one of the best embassy suites I have stayed in Yes you have to pay for parking but that is always pretty normal for a downtown location in any city I will definitely be back

Donna Stewart

We absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area! Close to historic downtown with great restaurants within walking distance and less than 10 minute drive to the zoo The free breakfast buffet was out of this world! The price for the room was very affordable (Please take note that parking is $21 for self park and $27 for valet

) Still with that even a fantastic deal!

Momma & Prince

We had an excellent stay Although the hotel was very busy we never had to wait long for the elevator The evening reception was great and the made to order omelettes for breakfast were head and shoulders above the others (which have also been great)

The hotel has a lovely environment, many places to sit and relax for a private conversation Very enjoyable in all areas

My wife is in ICU here, we live in Sioux City Iowa and don’t drive College world series now so hospital said all rooms in Omaha booked 3 days I’m home not even able to talk to my wife Sonesta ES suites got room for me for 7 days! So thankful to be able to see my wife

Staff are great, especially the woman at the front desk The room is great! More of a back home relaxing vibe not clinical like many hotels It’s like a condominium complex I am forever in their debt by their kindness and comfort in such a time of fear and uncertainty The property is beautiful, and is surprisingly peaceful and serene, can rarely hear traffic Their kindness, generosity is a blessing and will not be forgotten Thank you many times over

GoFukk Yherself

Couldn’t figure out why many months ago so many bad reviews Learned new ownership and management Room is great

Pool looks awesome, and employees are all amazingly kind and caring Here because wife is in ICU They couldn’t be more empathetic Come here from a day at the hospital and am able to unwind as doesn’t have the motel vibe It feels like home Love it and then! Don’t miss an opportunity to unwind here!

Liz Dyer

Noisy not the neighbors fault by any means; just built poorly I could hear them snoring it was so bad

by 10 am and no sleep, I knew when they were making breakfast or showering pipes sounded like jet engines also, be aware of very high pet fees unhelpful receptionist very disappointed by the other reviews you’ll probably get better sleep at a motel 8 and won’t pay as much

We were visiting Creighton with our daughter and found The Farnam to be a fabulous retreat after a day of tours, interviews, and info sessions We have stayed at other Autograph Collection properties and this one provided the same fantastic level of service we are used to!The Valet and Front Desk staff greeted us with enthusiasm and they remembered our names throughout our 3 day stay We stayed in a King suite, which was modern and stunning, and most important to me, super clean and comfortable

We enjoyed the lounge in the lobby with the delicious small plates, and the craft cocktails are amazing! It’s great to venture into such a great location, central to all that Omaha has to offerI’ve already booked three more stays at the Farnam! Can’t wait to see everyone again

Zoe Oduntan

The Farnam is a beautiful and clean hotel It is close to the park and good food Walking distance to The Market area

Rooms are very comfortable, spacious and modern They’ve got this fresh scent throughout the lobby and hallways Housekeeping showed up every day, and they did a splendid job each time, something that is lacking in some hotels nowadays We’ll definitely like to stay here next time we visit Omaha Well done!

Can’t say enough about the quality of this hotel both in design and staff/service Brand new beautifully designed hotel incredibly clean and modern Staff was very helpful from check in to check out

Scott the manager is a true asset to the team there and made sure my stay was perfect I want to shout out Sam at the front desk who wrote a hand written note when I arrived Also want to highlight the friendliness of Derek the valet, and Greg a bartender at the Catalyst Stayed in the visionary suite which exceeded my expectations The electric curtains and floor to ceiling glass windows were an elegant touch Proximity to the old market was a huge bonus as that area is very charming and has great shops and restaurants I will be returning to the Farnam!

Not a very clean place, maids come after check out Have to empty trash an request towels daily Owner Ryan is always present wich is unusual, very indifferent according to staff racist

Poor quality breakfast, low life occupants, consistent weed smoking Cars are frequently broken into After check out was charged an additional $250 By owner because of alleged chemicals that had to be used? Wich was not contractual nor discussed, was no deposit, has not returned calls Had to have bank reimburse, Beware!

Scott Sadler

We stayed in Room 240 on June 28,2022 and the room had a chip on the wall, black mold around one of the outlets, the beds are high off the ground, hole in the curtains and it look like it had blood on them, and the shower handle was not caulked and falls off easily, the communication with the hotel clerk was a little difficult The hallway has poor lighting and I believe that Wyndham doesn’t pay attention to the franchisee of the hotels that are under them because I have stayed at other Wyndham hotels and they have been rundown and their policies are different, and I have had it where I got a free night from Wyndham and the hotel charged me in Kansas City I have a bachelor’s degree in business, and I know how a business should be run

I can’t believe this hotel is only a 42! We had a great stay here! It was spotless and smelled clean The mattresses were BeautyRest and so comfortable

They provided a pack n play and bedding for it so we didn’t have to drag ours in The bathroom products smelled so good I didn’t bother unpacking mine The restaurant food was excellent And the staff helped us out with our girls cups Their valet service for parking is very speedy and organized Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in that area!!

Kimberly A

We loved our stay at the Magnolia The staff were all friendly, welcoming and kind, from the valets, to the front desk, and Brian and Steve, the bartenders 😉 The boutique hotel has been really nicely updated and everything is very clean

The only downsides are 1) the bathrooms The bathrooms are small, like most older hotels The sliding door didn’t shut completely and handle only works in one direction So, not great, if you’re traveling with someone who doesn’t know you intimately 2) Parking They have a gated lot, but it’s $25/day, high for Omaha We don’t usually valet because we don’t like to wait for our car Other than that, only a few parking spaces out front that are metered during the day, Monday through Saturday 9am-9pmGreat downtown, try the Irish pub downstairs – great, great music and vibe All within a 6 block walk We loved it and plan to come back 🙂

Katherine Zaleski

Can I say this has been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever or in a very very very very long time Everyone is so nice Omaha is a tricky city to get around without your own transportation

This hotel picked me up from the airport and answered All questions I had The hotel is 4 blocks from the old market, which you can spend a few hours in and then Go a few blocks down to a beautiful park where you can relax near a cute stream and huge Slides and sculptures The hotel is very clean and dog Friendly The courtyard is amazing It was a 100 degrees here yesterday and I spent the day between old market and the Courtyard They serve complimentary MILK and COOKIES at night! They are driving me to the zoo and the Back to the airport! If anyone is looking to stay at a friendly, beautiful boutique hotel THIS IS THE ONE! Omaha folks are all so friendly but this place is the key to bringing me back again Hands down the best place in Omaha I felt like I was staying with family and friends As a solo traveler…

This hotel is beautiful and so well kept We stayed in one of the jacuzzi rooms and were very happy with the room The room itself was huge, very clean, and very modern

The bed and pillows were wonderful, the most comfortable of any hotel I’ve stayed at Our room was very quiet and private, it felt like the walls were more sound proof than an average hotel, we never heard anyone in the hallway or surrounding rooms I loved how unique the Alice in Wonderland theme was throughout the hotel Unfortunately we stayed over the holiday, so the restaurant and bar were not open, but I’ve heard great things about both!

Patrick Barnickel

What a wonderful hotel! We checked into a horrible Marriott, and were on the hunt for a new, clean hotel Hotel Deco is wonderful! Michael at the front desk was attentive, made us feel welcome, and went above and beyond for our stay! What an excellent employee, and a true asset to the hotel On our way out Kat was such a help with our luggage and our departure

Such a wonderful front desk team! Stay here and you’ll never want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay Hotel Deco team!

Paige M

Absolutely the best place in the old market! Everyone was friendly and helpful! Have never slept better in a hotel! The bed was amazing the PILLOWS were fantastic! Only complain is the shower was a little odd! Some instructions would have been nice, but once we figured it out it was great too! Bar service was excellent and the drinks were phenomenal! Very nice Marriott stay Definitely more for business travelers There aren’t too many attractions that are walkable nearby

Only one or two restaurants that was really within walking distanceSo I wouldn’t stay here longterm with family, but for business, it was pretty good Layout of my room was pretty small but they tried to fit in the amenities that they could Good desk, comfy chair, but the layout felt a bit crampedThat being said, the amenities were updated The shower pressure was good and hot A lot of plugs Good iron Everything felt very clean Sometimes with older properties you can’t clean out the “old” but this felt updated and niceService was always very top notch Dining room, front desk, etc always has a smile and willing to help Definitely the best part of the stay was them

This place was great everything was amazing from the front desk attendant’s to the room! But the most amazing was the lounge! Glenn and Rachel gave such superb service! Glenn and his old fashioned will have you absolutely wondering what hit your taste buds don’t miss your chance to get one of those when you’re there! Rachel with her knowledge of everything on the menu made it to where I didn’t even have to look and I was able to order she was great and had great conversation!

Very nice and clean hotel in a great area with tons to do Love the outdoor/indoor pool and lots of space outside on the patio to hang out Loved having the bar/restaurant option and the small convenience store in case you need a snack or beverage

Front desk and bartenders were very friendly and accomodating Only thing that was off was the elevators seemed to get stuck frequently and it was very hot in the hallways/elevators, but the rooms themselves were cool Definitely would recommend this hotel and stay here again!

We stayed here to have an easy walk to and from the Taking Back Sunday and Third Eye Blind concert We got one night in a king room (Wednesday night) and it was $200When entering there is construction, but parking is still easy and accessible

The main lobby has major construction and has a walk around to get to the main desk They only had one employee checking people in so the line did take a little bit but she was quick to get us our keysThe room was very underwhelming The price you pay and the actual room you get do not match I would expect this room to be 100 or less a night There was water damage along the window The pillows were very small, but the bed was comfortableThe sink did not drain well The tub had rust and was very outdated The toilet is very low to the ground, so if getting down and/or up is difficult I would not recommendOverall, the concert and venue linked with Harrah’s is amazing Show was greatHotel is not worth the time or the money and I would not recommend a stay

I only visited the casino, not the hotel Although the facility is not especially new or well-maintained, the slots machines, at least, were mostly modern and nice The speakers had been disabled on one whole bank of machines that I wanted to play, so the volume controls didn’t work, which was a bummer

Also, much of the facility appears to be undergoing remodeling so hopefully it’ll be nicer sooner just in time for competition in NebraskaThe slots were fun and I had a good time Within 15 minutes on the first machine I played, I was up $440 net But it was too soon to leave, I had just got there So I ended up hanging around for 2 hours and losing everything I had carried in there A good time was had by some

Under construction in lobby skylights being replaced, will be nice when done

We stayed 2 nights and I didn’t realize we would not have our room tided or towels and coffee replaced We had to go down to desk to get items ourselves Would have been nice if someone came for dirty laundry or at least gave us a laundry bag to put our towels

Traveling on business and this hotel is attached to the convention center That alone made it a good choice for the week of classes at the convention center The rooms are very clean and well laid out and the rest of the hotel has seemed well kept and clean

What put this hotel over the top in amazing was the customer service from the front desk staff, in particular Alex She went out of her way, and I mean out of her way, to make my stay as wonderful as it could be When traditional solutions were not rectifying my issue, she took action and solved the problem herself when she could have just gone about her business I appreciate the time she took to care about something that she didn’t have to The time she decided to give to a stranger to make my stay better The kindness that not everyone has and sometimes can be very hard to find I do hope that management of this hotel also recognize what a great employee and an even better person they have in Alex

The customer service is out of this world From the front desk to management So bright and welcoming

We had a minor issue with an oversight in our housekeeping, but it was immediately addressed and made right I had never stayed at a Courtyard and always booked with the adjoining hotel not anymore, I will for sure make the Courtyard our preferred stay on our return trip every year!

Cynthia DeBaun

Staff seemed really nice however they seemed short staffed just like everyone I was in town on business and this is close to the office so it’s very convenient The first night I noticed that the carpet was soaking wet by the air conditioner

I informed the front desk 3 times and Noone came to fix it for 3 days One of my employees got checked into a room that had throw up all over it and then had to be checked into a handicapped room because that was all they had

The guy at the front desk was very pleasant and seemed to be very friendly and gave the impression that this was gonna be a great stay However upon checking in to the room furnishings seemed very dated and that isn’t all that bad they also had no phone in the rooms I was told they removed the phones Which is like ok how do I contact front desk if need be and vice versa

But the thing that made the stay unbearable was the place had roaches which was an immediate hard no Tried calling hotel from my cell no one ever answered my calls and then they were closed till 6am or something like that So it was just a lose lose situation for me

We’ve stayed here several times since my first review and every time we’ve had the best experience! The staff is so wonderful and you can tell the quality of your stay is made possible by a group effort! Check-in/check-out has always been so friendly and helpful, the rooms are really comfortable and the cleanest we’ve ever seen, the hot breakfast is always delicious (and not in the typical hotel breakfast way- like SINCERELY good!) Plus they try to have to-go bags packed in case you don’t have time to stop and eat! They really go above and beyond I’ve honestly never had a better experience at any other hotel, we travel frequently and anytime we’re driving within an hour radius of Omaha we go out of our way to stay here! Honestly just top tier hospitality

I have stayed at numerous Hilton properties during domestic and international trips This is one of my very favorite ones Here is why ;On my first day when I checked in

I was welcomed by the front desk staff with a smile and warm reception The staff member checking me in on June 20th 2022 when I checked in was MikeMike was sure to give me a detailed update on what to expect with breakfast and offered me the option to get room keys or digital keys My check in was seamless and fastThe most important part of this all was to be provided the options by Mike of when I needed to have my room cleaned This particular trip is a business trip for 11 nights I was very intentional with my selection of where I wanted to stay because of how long my stay is I read reviews on most of the Hilton properties in the area and settled on this oneEveryday I come back to my room after a long day of work My room is sparking clean, the bed is made with clean sheets every day The trash is taken out and bathroom is restocked with supplies and clean towelsThe breakfast options are alright I am not a big breakfast person So I barely eat here Only been once so far and their food was okayI have always had to call the front desk at other Hilton properties to ask for supplies, for trash to be taken out I haven’t had to worry about that at the LA Vista location They do their jobs without the guest having to come back behind them to request for what’s supposed to be basic service during your stayI will enjoy the rest of my stay and am confident in my review Every morning I greet the front desk staff with a smile and thank them for making my stay with them pleasant

Very nice motelVery cleanLots of shower water pressure

Breakfast very good My choice wasEggs, potatoes, sausage and orange juiceLots of other items I didn’t want or needI had breakfast at 7:30 on a Monday, I was the only one there Very quiet And the giant tv was not on blaring out garbage Sometimes those televisions at motels can be very annoyingI would recommend this place for any travelers
