This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a good hostel on a budget My friends and I reserved a private room and shared a bathroom Everything was clean and felt very safe

The staff is great and the lobby/bar is great for a quick breakfast or wine and games at night meeting new people from all over the world Thanks for a great stay!

Dana Antoniuk

Nice hostel, comfortable beds with light, charger sockets and curtains for privacy But in the most high bed you need to climb, sometimes I felt like in gym Rooms was very clean, little but comfortable

Bathroom was very clean also, no queue there Staff are friendly and help in case of problems, that was niceThere is no kitchen in hostel( but I’ve had breakfast, dinner and some drinks in bar downstairs Everything was very tasty and good Place is crowded with locals and tourists, but is a fun partHowever the location didn’t feel so safe for me As a solo female traveler needed to keep my head down and ignore all comments and following on my way back to hostel

Margot R

Nice place! Good beds and they had curtains to give you some privacy Bathrooms were clean Met some nice people during my stay!Ladders to reach the top bunk bed are quite tricky to use and not recommended for everyone

Lockers beneath bed do not come with a lock, these must be purchased separatelyWould consider returning!

Tourists beware Had the misfortune of traveling to France during the rail worker strike in July My itinerary was delayed and thew off my arrival day

I call the front desk to explain the situation and need to cancel Not only was the receptionist incredibly rude, but completely non accommodating or helpful Stated that they make no exceptions to their refund policy Complete lack of professionalism and integrity Extremely disappointed with this hotel and staff

Superior hotel and staff! My husband and I stayed 4 nights and didn’t want to leave Rooms were incredible I would love to give the staff more than 5 stars if I could

Each and every one went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous The concierge made reservations for us at Coco in the old opera house which are difficult to get and must be booked weeks in advance It was a great experience! The little details too really made our stay…from the welcome food/drink in our room, the chocolates left on our pillows at night and always making sure we had a bottle of water on our bedside table after returning from long days touring Paris The location is also the best …5 minutes to the Louvre and bordering the trendy La Marais district Subway access at your doorstep too We loved every minute of our stay here

Angela Ring

We had a lovely stay at this hotel Very comfortable room and beds, spacious, modern bathrooms, and very quiet room on the courtyard (I can’t speak to noise levels street side) Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and satisfied

They even went the extra mile when we encountered bumps in the road I highly recommend staying here

Peter Kollek

Liked · Everything was outstanding from staff, location, and cleanness Excellent pool with fabulous design, warm and present water temperature Modern bathroom with a high-tech toilet seat and remotely operated window curtains

Disliked · The only caveat during the staying (Sept 1-Sept 7, 2021, was that the A/C was not powerful enough to set a lower room temperature If you are coming from the USA it may be disappointing and make nights slightly uncomfortable, but it is not a deal-breaker Highly recommend

We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t get the breakfast The staff was absolutely amazing, they did their best to help us out and recommend restaurants and places to visitThe room and bathroom were clean, however the bathroom had a sliding door, no window and no vent, which isn’t great and the reason this is a 4 star review and not a 5

Good location, the small room totally acceptable for Paris, comfortable bed, water boiler in the room, only two sockets in the room under the table – an extension cord would be a good idea Good breakfast, nice breakfast personelReceptionist (the woman with the grey hair) was rather unwelcoming, ignored me for several minutes for check-in, then started talking French without looking at me, left me standing outside the closed door several times

Hayden Elliott

We arrived to the hotel at 8 am from traveling all night long from the US We knew that the check in time was not until 3, so we left our stuff in the baggage room and went to go get something to eat We were fine with our room not being ready as the check in time policy for this hotel is 3 PM, but we came back around 1130 just to check and see if they possibly had a room ready for us since we were exhausted from traveling overnight

The man at the front desk notified us that our room still was not ready and that it would at least be a couple hours We were so tired from being up all night, so we decided to sit in the lobby to rest and wait for our room During this time, we saw two other families come in and were able to check in their room with no problem That was a little frustrating to us considering we had been waiting for almost 5 hours at this point When we finally got into our room, we found that the lights in the hallways leading to the rooms on our floor (5) were completely out and stayed this way for the duration of our trip We had to use our flashlights on our phones to even see where we were going This is a safety issue in my opinion and needs to be addressed The room also had a very unpleasant musty smell, and it was very hot during the night which kept us from getting proper sleep The only reason I’m even giving this hotel 2 stars is because of the location-That is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel

Hotel was very pretty and clean 2 minutes away from tram station made it so easy to get to the city centre Breakfast was very good with a lot of variety of savoury and sweet options

Freshly baked croissants and other pastries Beautiful rooftop terrace Check out was supposed to be at 2pm but we got the room at 3pm but we were able to leave our bags on arrival as well as after checking out Staff were excellent – shared lots of tips about Paris and they were very kind, always happy to help Excellent customer service Would definitely stay again if I ever come back to Paris

The hotel is nicely decorated Good facilities and not too far from all the places you would want to go Most of the staff is friendly

I was only uncomfortable with one blonde older lady concierge who told me to cover up when I went to order coffee because I was wearing a crop top As a guess I don’t expect to be told what to wear by the staff, it is unprofessional, uncomfortable and unnecessary Maybe some training needs to be given on what is and isn’t acceptable when dealing with guests

Krysta Southwood

Me and 2 girls first time away in Paris arrived at the hotel with the warmest welcome ever ! They were so accommodating told us no question was too silly if we ever needed help and even accommodated us when we wanted to be put in one bigger room together ! They then helped us telling us the easy ways to get to the attractions and what routes are best which was super helpful as we wouldn’t have been able to do as much without them Rooms were always super clean and spacious as well as the amazing terrace they have overlooking the Eiffel Tower at night Definitely recommend 10/10 will 100% go back next time I’m in ParisThankyou hotel atrium from krysta , katie and caitlyn 🙂

Stayed for 5 nights and it was lovely – a modern, beautiful, full service hotel The breakfast was delicious (best pancakes we ever had) with plenty of options for tourists (four types of coffee included, smoked salmon, breads, yogurts, eggs your way, etc)

The rooms were well appointed, modern decor and fairly new, with nice views of Paris rooftops We had a hard time picking hotel as there are many choices in Paris, but we made the right choice It is right across the street from the train station (which allows you to go to all of the tourist attractions and different parts of the city) It is located in a residential neighborhood, with people roaming the streets all day and night, and packed restaurants open until midnight A few small grocery stores within walking distance, and a pharmacy as well Great staff – thank you for making our stay perfect

Carlos Carriedo

Excellent option in Paris Facilities and food are top notch, but the staff is the best I have come across in many visits to the city Every member of the staff went out of their way to help us feel welcome, very impressive

Salient among all details, was that I needed help parking a car that was too high for the hotels parking space We received help like we were VIP guests Well done

Carmel Lynn

Travelled from Connecticut, USA to Paris and stayed at the Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel and absolutely loved it I travelled for work and also brought my mom We thought the atmosphere was upbeat while also relaxing

The lobby and rooms were designed well The best of all was the staff The staff were helpful, kind and informative Shanna and Emma at the spa were fantastic! I would 100% rebook this hotel for a work or leisure trip Also shout out to the cook at Martins S the pancakes are superb in the morning and dinner time butternut raviolis and scallops were divine! Thank you!

The room was comfortable and clean The location was great because it is near several train stations and subways We were able to get to all the attractions and Versailles from one of the stations There were several options for restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks and mall shopping at the train station We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Paris

Avoiding the lower floor of this hotel if you are a light sleeper I initially stayed in a room at the 3rd floor and could feel the train passing through the building in the morning Noise from the street is loud at night too

Once I requested to move to the higher floor, all issues were goneThe service from the reception honestly were great The room is spacious and comfort The view is stunning Very conveniently located Lots of restaurants around

Went there for the afternoon tea The hotel itself is absolutely amazing! The food was amazing and had a lot of selections Portions were generous as we couldn’t finish everything

I went for the first time and it was my independent tour of the Ritz Hotel To explore, view and learn more about the French art and culture and what they had to propose It was an amazing place

Our family of four just returned home from an amazing stay at Hotel Du Louvre I do not typically write reviews, but our stay at the hotel was so perfect that I wanted to compliment the staff on a job well done! We had the family suite, which was very accommodating for our family The staff went above and beyond to help with things such as reservations at restaurants and arrangements of tours

They packed us a beautiful breakfast one day when we were leaving early for a tour in Normandy The daily housekeeping was also on pointThe location is perfect for walking or jumping on the metro It is also surrounded by many lovely bistros If you are looking for a hotel in Paris, this is the one!

Marianne Rawlins

My experience has been that staying in a Hyatt hotel whilst visiting a new city is a pretty safe bet The accommodation will always be superb and the concierge will be your way in to wonderful restaurants that you wouldn’t have otherwise discoveredMy experience this trip demonstrated that the first was true – accommodation and check-in were wonderful

And location is perfectBut the concierge was more of a detriment than help, being unable to offer any guidance at all He sent us walking 45 minutes to a non-existent clothing store, only to make it up to us by sending us to the worst, most notorious tourist trap for dinnerSo my advice is this hotel will not disappoint unless you expect something from the concierge – which I do, hence the 3 stars

Fredrik Ansker

Stayed here 6 nights summer 2021 Fantastic location, lovely old building with modern rooms and facilities An extra thumbs up to the breakfast staff, just extraordinary

The bar never seemed to be open but this was during Covid A small mishap with the luggage was taken care of by the management in an exquisite manner Will be back whenever I can

This hotel was in such a great, quiet neighborhood Plus with a coffee machine and balcony you could not ask for more The staff was excellent

So kind and welcoming to us and our children I left a Chanel scarf behind on accident and was so upset, thinking I would never see it again The staff went out of their way to locate it for me and ship it back to me in the United States! I would recommend this hotel to anyone I love Paris and the staff here made me love it even more Thank you!

Michael McAtamney

Location is great Many metro lines really close by To the West ate some good places to eat and shop

To the east felt a little run downAccommodation wad perfect for us with a separate bedroom and min kitchen Really big room for Paris room sizes Would stay againCould do with a few coats of paint to freshen up the place, but very cosmetic The place is clean

First the cons: This hotel was probably excellent about 15 years ago The rooms have been somewhat neglected Floorboards, doors and walls need touching up with paint, bathtub has rust spots, grout in bathroom needs redoing

The fridge didn’t work at all upon arrival which I didn’t realize and we had to throw food away The fridge was replaced the following day The balcony needed cleaning Towels are thin and could use replacing I had called prior to arrival and asked for two rooms next to each other and was told that would work … it didn’t While I can understand the reason why I don’t understand why someone told me otherwise I had reserved two deluxe rooms and one was large with two doors leading to a balcony that faced the street and a third window by kitchen The other room had a smaller balcony, one window overlooking apartments and the room was smaller so beware of that if you are reserving a deluxe Deluxe rooms came with robes ( one room came with slippers while other didn’t), quality amenities in bathroom and great heated towel rackThe pros:Kitchen fully equipped Good tv and for English speakers a few bbc channels Bed was good as were pillows and linen Good air conditioning Plenty of hot water Didn’t hear neighbors at all When the second room was next to child crying for hours a staff member did resolve the issue Great location Clean Pleasant staffOverall the owners need to maintain and update Beware your so called deluxe room might not be as deluxe as you think Weighing the pros and cons I would stay here again

Then came leakge in the bathroomceiling and we had to move to room next dooralthough we notified we wanted an extension the person at that time ( think name is thierry) at reception was very arrogant and asked to pay for the 11 days immediately and pay in advance ce for the 2 day extension We felt we were treated as thievesour bags were in the room why would we leave without paying? He even locked us out out of the roomAlthough the room was too small for comfort we decided to extend as it was 10 mins to hospital where we had relative for medical careWe moved to another hotel for further stay and it is a 4 star which made a huge difference in comfort and service and not much difference in price from the 3 star Residence Europecomfort we decided to stay as it was only 10 mins wslk to hospital where we h

Balcony are very spacious Hotel is just minutes away from the metro Great restaurants nearby too

There is a public pool within walking distance but if you’re a guy you must have speedo shorts in order to swim, it’s a French law Don’t get caught off guard like did They will not allow you to swim with regular swim trunks Word to the wise

The rooms & service was ok, bus and then metro to get to city central if I were to return to Paris, I would at least locate closer to the metro no complaints about the hotel EXCEPT, when we arrived my wife started to sit on a balcony chair but noticed one of the legs was missing

She turned the chair upside down for safety and used another chair After our stay (5 nights) we were sitting in the lobby and management accosted us for breaking the chair we explained, that no we found the chair broken when we arrived They refused to believe us, and It became rude They basically called us liars After we left I found they charged my credit card for the chair (unauthorized) WE DID NOT BREAK THE CHAIR So basically they expect us to pay for their poor room inspection/maintenance prior to arrival I belong to Diamond Resorts timeshare, but am looking to terminate my membership after this!

You have “policies” that don’t care about the fact that customers are real people I booked a room and cancelled within minutes and you refused to give back the $61292 for it no matter how hard I tried

I had booked the room for only minutes I can’t imagine any reason for you to have a policy in place to not refund any money when a person had blocked a room for only a few minutes There are companies that follow “policies” and there are companies that care about people This definitely shows how you operate your business I am going to specifically make sure I let this be known about Royal Regency and Hilton Grand Vacations in my friends circle and on Reddit Thanks for ruining my vacation plans for this year by literally stealing a large chunk of my savings

-Good hotel in a great location-Breakfast was great-Rooms are really big for Paris’ standards

-Cleaning was satisfactory and could be improved (Special note: providing shower gel and shampoo a sufficient amount everytime would be nice)-While the garden is nice, it should be utilized better It felt a bit empty at times-Bar is way too expensive

Very nice hotel The room, for three people, was spacious Even had a small kitchen with small fridge, a microwave, coffeemaker, water cooker, electric cooking plate, and even a tiny dish washer (!)The hotel is a lot bigger that you would expect standing in front of it

The rooms are housed in several buildings behind the reception around a central inner squareBreakfast was extensive Choice from a lot of different food

Firstly the staff are very very nice and friendly, customer service wise I would give this place 10/10The hotel it’s self is definitely not 4 star, it’s quite run down, the sink didn’t drain too well and the room just looked like it needed decorating and renovatingThe room we stayed in had the person next door smoking, the issue was the rooms were the connecting rooms therefore I assume the smoke came from under the door into our room which wasn’t very pleasant especially to wake up to the smell! Finally the location is excellent, very easy to get to, connected by metro or walking distance a lot of things

Overall very good location and staff but the hotel is super run down and the smoking next door made the experience a little unpleasant

Le Senat was the perfect hotel for our 10 day trip to Paris! The location was safe and super accessible to everywhere we ventured during our stay All of the staff were also super friendly, accommodating, and professional The rooms are smaller than what we are used to in the States, but that is very common throughout the city

Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Le Sénat Hotel and particularly appreciated the excellent service we received from the friendly and helpful staff We stayed in the top floor duplex terrace suite with outstanding views overlooking Paris It was worth paying the extra money for this room as having a glass of champagne on our sunny terrace was just delightful

The hotel is in a wonderful location, with cafes and restaurants nearby, plus the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens Highly recommend this hotel and we will stay here again!

The lovely hotel is in a great neighborhood Very quiet street and with a cute delicious corner cafe, a wine bar and small corner store Close to a nice area wth cafes, bars, and restaurants and the Luxembourg gardens

Easy access to the Metro The breakfast was perfect The staff was wonderful all around We loved it! We had one of the Duplex Terrace rooms with a nice view of Sacré-Cœur in the distance Beautiful space Really enjoyed the balcony The only thing to note is the shower tub combo in this particular room If you have mobility issues of any kind I do not recommend this particular room However, I very much recommend the hotel in general, it’s a great place for your Paris stay
