This has become our new happy place!! It’s SO clean, the staff is amazing and accommodating, the grounds are beautifully kept, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable and the views are incredible at any hour of the day! The location is perfect – we never bother renting a car because everything is in walking distanceI love how the owners of this family run business take the time every day to connect with their guests – they could be seen early in the morning resetting the pool chairs and stopping to chat and check in with people, sitting with new arrivals or those getting ready to depart in the lounge area by the office, or just being present every day You can see and feel their passion for this resort and their desire to provide every guest with a positive experience

The team – from the office staff to the grounds keepers to the housekeepers were all incredibly friendly and are clearly treated well by the owners We had a battery issue with our in-room safe and they immediately came and rectified it – with a smile and friendly conversationI could go on and on about how lovey this resort is but I think you get the picture It ticks off all of the boxes for being a super high quality, well run, spotless and fabulous place Like Maureen in the office says, “if you can’t be happy here – you’re probably not happy anywhere!”

The hotel is nice, the rooms are well kept I was surprised with all the renovations still taking place arpund the resort that the hotel is still operating at full pricing The entrance way is under construction and isn’t such a beautiful experience to arrive to

They could redirect the main entrance to make a better experience There aren’t as many services right now because of the construction Many restaurants are closed or have moved out (there used to be far more restaurants on-site) Most of the staff are courteous and will take care of things for you As long as you don’t have an issue with your room if you do, give up and stay elsewhere because you can tall and text for 2 days without them taking care of you I’m still waiting for them to fix or replace something in my room

Matthew Wheeler

My family has invited me for a vacation at this hotel for many years I give it only 4 stars for this 5 star hotel because after it was privately bought out, it has gone down hill in terms of service My family was overcharged $1200, the shower was broken, the staff isn’t knowledgeable about anything other that’ll where your room is, etc

if you can look past that, the ground and properties like the beach club that you have access are absolutely gorgeous The new lazy river was a great addition and their food has always been delicious Just said that their service hasn’t been up to par

Dave Knode

The Boca Raton is a unique golf and pool resort with “exclusivity” as one of it’s main appeals The grounds are very well kept and the older main building is full of detail and surrounded and filled with a wide range of sculptures and art The conference center is sizable like a Gaylord but compact so you don’t have to walk forever to get to or around it

The pool bar closed at 5pm which seemed way too early The lobby bar was always full and the staff seemed a bit challenged to keep up with the demand The room I stayed in this time was five star all the way except the sink didn’t drain I hope they have refurbished all of the rooms to this level because it was a perfectly appointed and super comfortable room I had stayed years ago and didn’t remember my room being that nice before They were working on refurbing the chapel space which is beautiful and suitable for a decent sized indoor wedding although you might opt for one of several outdoor spaces Bottom line I recommend it for weddings and conferences where you can bring your family too and enjoy some golf

This review is long overdue! We loved our stay over Spring Break/Easter 2021! Our family of three fully enjoyed our stay in the Sedona suite The hotel staff was exceptional at making sure we had everything we needed to feel comfortable (I was also pregnant at the time) Our three-year-old loved the pullout couch and our bedroom was roomy and comfortable as well

We’d absolutely be back!

My son and I stayed for the week and it was amazing!! The staff and Manager were friendly, professional and catered to all of our needs I was so impressed!! They have a delicious breakfast buffet daily and the food at the restaurant was excellent The hotel sits on the beach so having daily beach access with towels and chairs provided was awesome

We will definitely be back Thank you very much for allowing us to have a memorable vacation❤️🏝🌞Stephanie and Tanner

We had a fabulous 4 day romantic getaway! From the front desk staff, the valet staff, outdoor staff (everyone, particularly Kenny and Kelsey) everyone was so friendly, efficient and nice! The beach is amazing, pool area great, room comfortable and sparkling clean! If you are a bit of a vampire like me and can’t be in the sun all day, the poolside cabana was so fabulous and well worth the nominal fee! We had breakfast indoors one day then lunch and cocktails at the pool a couple of days and everything was great! The only thing I would say we didn’t love was the coffee in the lobby, it was pretty awful, but the in room coffee was just fine!

Leann Fiore

The customer service here is incredible Every staff greeted me in the hallways with friendly conversations, and wanted to make our stay the best it could be with early check in and beach access The manager was on the beach with us checking in his business casual clothes! Gabriel from valet helped load our bags into our Uber! The room had extras of everything so we didn’t run out and the full size toiletries on the shower wall were appreciated

Hotel is right on the beach with free chairs and easy access

We stayed here on two occasions and are really satisfied with everything Having the whole villa to yourself and being on a beachfront location, it is really amazing Staff is very courteous and ready to assist with whatever you need

Pool is great as well as beach grounds It is like a private little resort you have to enjoy all to yourself We will be back in the future as this gem cannot be found everywhere

Tina B

The beds in both villas we stayed in were horrible The most uncomfortable experience ever Individual owners own each villa and reviews online of guests experiences does not tell the whole picture

The mattress’ in both villas felt like you were sleeping in a hole on both sides of the master bed You could actually see the craters with the bed made!!! Pillows were stained and old Ants were everywhere in the first villa Iguana and lizard infestation at the whole resort You can’t walk 2 steps without seeing tons I would say call the resort before booking to find out which BM villas have a newer mattress Otherwise yoir stay will be bad

We ended up at this hotel at the last minute because our original accommodation was

gross This hotel was beautiful We had a huge room with a kitchenette and beautiful view Short walk to restaurants and entertainment we enjoyed a late dinner outside while listening to live blues from a neighboring business If I was spending the week in Fort Lauderdale, I’d definitely stay here again

Anthony Falls

Stayed here two nights before a cruise in February 2022 Prices were astronomical in the city and I was able to use Marriott Points to redeem my stay (instead of $600+CDN night) I really enjoyed my stay at this property

The view of the Intracostal water from my room was fantastic The bed was very comfortable! They provide a complimentary breakfast which was delicious I was very impressed The location is about a 15-minute walk to the beach and the pool area at the hotel was good

Essence Clayton

Only stayed one night The water view, sky view, and lights view is nice My room wasn’t as clean as I expected

The lamp shade had blue coloring on it The balcony wasn’t as clean, the bathroom floor wasn’t as clean either They have no pancakes or waffles for breakfast, but the eggs wasn’t that bad Coffee not for my taste The Bar has limited options, didn’t see a poolside Bar as it was advertised on Priceline I didn’t think it was worth me paying over $250 for the room

Hotels can always be a challenge no matter what brand but this one was fine despite some room for improvement Its not cheap, stayed in the 1 bedroom suite $$ traveling with my pup so having the corner room with separate bedroom is a must Full kitchen and mostly remodeled except for the old tub with no safety bars & very low toilet making it a challenge for anyone over 50! 😉

If they just finished the job it would be a 5 star Location on 95 and lots of nice grassy areas to walk your pup Noticed some mold in the corner so again a more thorough maintenance upkeep of these pricey rooms would help Staff very nice & accommodating Better than other properties, no bugs at least and nice pool area

DENISE WEST

The location is okay It’s in a business park so you don’t real know it’s there but still very accessible to the highway, restaurants, beaches and entertainment Breakfast is included so that’s a plus and it’s good

There were scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal and cereal everyday day, along with cold and hot beverages The rooms are decent and clean but the furniture and the kitchen within your room could stand an upgrade Online there’s an option to select 2 queen beds; however, this location only has rooms with king beds The staff is very welcoming and accommodating I’d stay here again

Nabilah Miah

Has to be one of the worst hotels out of the 247 Marriott locations I’ve been in They don’t return phone calls or emails in a sufficient manner From the most minor detail to the major they will do everything possible to come up with excuses to not solve your issue

My wallet was swollen with cash and coins on a day housekeeping was not suppose to enter, having two messages the day before and morning off stating no one would come in Reported it and called the police Pompano Beach Police stated this is the most popular location they get phone calls for and they told me it is the most unprofessional and confused team around the areaTheft occurred in a large sum and the hotels response was we interviewed our housekeeping members and they didn’t take it No one in their right mind will agree to theft especially if it was executed undetected Lack of customer service at this hotel and they will not make the customer happy not even with points for their errorOlder hotel with terrible management It is in desperate need of remodeling and new carpets The grill works once in a blue moon and if you raise concern, they shut you outStayed over a month and it had to be the worse experience Hilton all the way, switching to the better brand where the GM calls to apologize if there’s a light bulb that isn’t working

We stayed in unit 16 and loved it! The ocean view was incredible We also can’t say enough about the staff and how helpful and friendly they are We forgot a small bag and they shipped it back to us

Really thoughtful lifesavers! The location is perfect and all the restaurants are a 5-minute walk awayThe room was clean, and the appliances a really useful touch We were able to make coffee and breakfast and eat it with an ocean view each morning That ended up being my favorite part of our whole trip We’ll be back!

We stayed 2 nights and wish we could stay longer! Room 16 is the second floor facing the beach and is perfect! We arrived early, about 10am Naturally our room wasn’t ready, but we were given a parking space and access to the pools and beach We got a call a few hours later when the room was ready

There are beach chairs available for use Lots of lounge chairs near the pool and overlooking the beach The room was clean and cozy I would give 5 stars except the springs in the bed were loud Just sitting on or turning over woke us Good thing we were only sleeping!Shops and restaurants are within walkimg distance Bikes are available to use around town also I will recommend and definitely be back

Kyle Madigan

We stayed here for about a week in August I considered a few different places to stay, but decided on Windjammer We were in one of the studio units with a partial ocean view

The Hillsboro Beach Resort: WOW It is the most picturesque place Walking out of the hotel towards the pool or beach provides a spectacular view of the ocean

It’s the most quaint and posh resort nestled amongst beautiful mansions and condos We met the General Manager), the bar manager Anthony, Natasha and the head Chef Jason at restaurant Rio, from which we ordered varied items from the lunch menu each day and we were pleased with every mean, Hilber (what was his name?) served us by the pool and at dinner on our last night there The room and view of the Ocean from the balcony was so awesome The maids and staff were attentive and wonderful The property l, staff and amenities are top notch We enjoyed laying in the super plush double cabana each day Really can’t say enough about this place and dying to get back!

Overall, I had an excellent stay at the Boca Raton rendition of the Wyndham The rooms were great, the pool was a blast, and the service was phenomenal The man that brought it all together was Charles Jones, who works at the front desk

His service was second to none and his familiarization with the local area was top notch which enhanced my experience in Boca Raton Charles went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I maximized the time that we had here

Melanie Holmes

Room was clean, stay was great Albert at the front desk treated us like family We had an unexpected overnight stay due to flight cancellation and weather

Albert found us a room and accommodated all 4 of us We asked about food around that we could get (0030 pickings were slim), he informed us what was close When we unloaded and came to our room, he had left us a care package In this day and time people like Albert are few and far between Albert has restored my faith! Wyndham Boca should be grateful to have him representing them Thank you Albert!! 💕

George Arnold

It’s not a bad place It’s an old Boca accommodation Still has the stinky gooey rugs under the bathroom sink? ( in the bedroom

Think hygiene, think wet rug, and toe funguses, WHY in the bedroom??? And not in the bathroom???)A noisy air conditioner is in every roomIf you have not experienced this before you need to learn how to yell hereIt’s an old place, and is not all bad, I do think they are improving!New paint, very good housekeeping, friendly employeesGreat pool, few kids mid weekLots of good food choices to walk toI’ll probably go back! It brings back the memories It’s oldBoca

This us actually an “Old Florida” timeshare without any of the typical timeshare BS It is well run and managed, the people who work here are like family, and the location can’t be beat locally Most “residents” own multiple weeks

Yet, it’s affordable with $2,500 for an off-season deed plus about $600 annual maintenance and taxes, which can be recouped on sale or renting your week if you can’t comeFor more information about the location look up Lauderdale by the Sea, which is the shore diving and snorkeling capital of the 48 contiguous states and has a thriving little dining and entertainment town center about two blocks north

Stayed here this past weekend The view was great and so was the roomThe pool bartender Claudia was amazing, do not go to anyone else

The tall African American man who fixes the chairs in the morning is also wonderful, I did not get his name Both of these workers went out of their way to make sure our days were as best as possible, I loved being around both of them so much The service at the pool was fast, you were always asked what you needed and the place was very very clean Also, hit the coffee station in the morning Drinks are good and so are the workersThe only thing I would make note of when coming here is you will not be able to check in earlier or later than they say My boyfriend had surgery a few weeks before and I asked if they could check us in earlier and they could not I know our situation was out of the ordinary but it is something that people should know if they have a similar situation They also tell me you can pay to extend your stay the day you leave, but the day of told me I could not If you have any sort of personable accommodations you need from a hotel, I would not bank on this hotelOverall, I would stay here again You do not have to leave for meals or drinks and there is a story across the street that has little snacks and drinks if needed

The BEST hotel/resort Really a resort!! EVERYONE is so kind and courteous! Special shout out to Amara at the front desk- she is the absolute sweetest and kindest!! Wait service at the beach and IN the pool The entire resort has this amazing smell piped in and they sell candles in the scent!! Can’t recommend this resort enough! 10 out of 5!!

Lisa Politto

We booked for a bride’s party to get ready before the ceremony We had a junior suite with an ocean view The view is gorgeous!!! However, the bathroom is completely and ridiculously outdated

The furniture is outdated and dirty! The servicenon existent! They actually disable the phone so that the room service button doesn’t work We needed champagne glasses so the bride had to walk down to the front desk where 3 employees continued to text on their phones and could care less She was told to go to the outside bar, where the bartender was very nice but very busy and had no champagne glasses at her bar For an over $530 dollar room, the service and amenities should be much better than it was

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here There were many things that we both loved! The location was amazing It was close to many restaurants and the beach

It also had a pool and a hot tub, which is exactly what we wanted The complimentary breakfast was a plus too! I do have to brag about Dee C She was an absolute gem to see every morning and always welcomed us with a smile and a kind word for breakfast The hotel was clean and accommodating We would definitely come back to this location for another vacation!

Alice T

This was a great location! The room was very clean and stocked with what we needed The kitchenette area had utensils and dishware, however I would take care to wash them (with the provided soap) before using We did not have anything negative to report

There is public access to the rooftop, which provides a beautiful view of the ocean and has lots of outdoor seating for hanging out At night, the seating is filled up with bar guests I recommend going up to the rooftop on a clear night, the reflection of the moon on the ocean is amazing!

We loved our stay here A last minute change to spring break plans but we’ll worth it Plenty of room in our room, an incredible view from the rooftop, yummy eats of all kinds in walking distance & steps from the beach

Pool table and arcade games for free in the lobby, a nice pool and a gym to please my hubby! Absolutely will be back!

I love the Sands! A historic treasure that I found extremely clean with exceptionally helpful and kind employees (everyone I met was wonderful), incredible views, fantastic tiki and restaurant/bar, and a beautifully maintained pool At night time, the lights in this place accentuate and compliment the beautiful property on the water Soothing and welcoming

To be fully transparent and honest, I was a little concerned when I first entered my room because it’s very outdated But there are very few historic hotels that don’t go through periods of transition, and the Sands is in a stage of upgrades What really blew me away is how meticulously maintained this property is The staff works so hard not just to welcome you to the property, but also to ensure all your needs are met and the room you have reserved is meticulously cleaned I was extremely pleased I was extremely comfortable, felt safe, and I slept better at the Sands than I have in nearly any other hotel True story 💜I look forward to returning to the Sands It’s a gem!

Overall I had a good experience It would have been nice if breakfast was available, and for my room to be cleaned I would often need to talk to the cleaning staff myself for my room not to be passed over The front desk gentlemen was professional and made a positive impact on my time here

The location is quiet and I would recommend this place to those not seeking a bustling nightlife Very chill environment If the stars ever align correctly I would like the chance to come back Something to note that wasn’t super clear on some travel sites is that there was a $200 deposit and parking is not included (5 day stay cost me about $120) Something to keep in mind

Great hotel and staff! The room was small, but modern, and had a great view of the ocean Lots to do in the hotel with the pool, pool table, and a couple of old-school video games in the lobby There were a few bikes right outside the lobby as well

I think you had to rent them, but it was nice to have them close by The rooftop bar and sitting area were nice to enjoy in the evening The staff was great in pulling over an umbrella to our chairs to shield us from the Florida sun They have a decent breakfast in the morning as well, but no microwaves on the Tru property side (It’s attached to a Home2 Suites) The hotel is close to the beach, and several restaurants There’s even an ice cream shop and a store to purchase your beach supplies nearby Just about everything you need is within walking distance, just steps outside the lobby doors You don’t need a car unless you plan to go sightseeing It’s a great quiet, family-friendly hotel We enjoyed the quiet few days that we spent there

If you’re looking for a place near the beach in Pompano this is it Room was OK It was clean

If you’re staying more than a day know that there are no closets or dressers and the room is tiny even to live out of a suitcase Front desk staff was helpful and kind Breakfast is about what you’d get from heating up Jimmy Dean in the microwave at home BUT the staff there in the morning was kind and upbeat and friendly making the food more than bearable If you’re looking for a place to sleep when at the beach this is great If you’re hotel is going to be a part of your vacation and not just where you sleep at night just know what your getting Overall it was a fine place and I’d go there again if on business in Pompano I arrived there on a Tuesday and was initially planning to stay through Sunday with Thursday – Sunday being vacation in the Miami area I elected to move to a different hotel on Thursday precisely because I wanted amenities Tru doesn’t offer and there’s nothing wrong with that Again, the staff was great

The hotel was outstanding for the location, however we had reservations for a balcony room and didn’t receive that The room was clean and the staff down stairs were great During check in they asked when the cleaning lady should come by

We stated everyday just for towel and nothing else We received one set of towels during our stay for four days The room was clean other than that

This is not like your typical hotel If you want a party scene or lots of kid activities, this is not the place It’s quiet

There are only 12 rooms in the whole place It has the Relais & Chateau label, meaning it is very upscale, very adult, very quiet very elegant, and definitely not cheap The rooms are very modern with technology everywhere (oddly, there was no Alexa nor Google Home) The pool is more of a hang-out spot with chest-high water and not a place to swim, but why would you want to swim in the pool anyway? The ocean is right there I mean, every room has a private balcony looking at the ocean, and you only have to walk literally 100 yards and you’re in the water The staff will set up your umbrella and beach chair at your request (towels and cooler if you want) and it is complimentary Speaking of complimentary, nearly everything is The fridge is filled each day with sparkling wine, white wine, Coca-Cola, and water If you want any additional items, just use the pad by the bedside, the phone, or ask any staff and it is delivered Turn down service each day but it has to be before 7PM as the guy that does that leaves at 7PM Breakfast is complimentary, too, and it is really good The restaurant is named The Chason and it is danged good The Chef’s Tasting was excellent The menu is, of course, seasonal and varied with whatever the chef decides to do but I was very impressed There is a large wine menu that has something for all palates and for pairing with every dish All of the staff were friendly and even knew my name The only drawback I can see is the price may be out of range for some folks but it is a Relais & Chateau labeled hotel and, as such, you’re gonna pay that price In my mind, it was worth every penny so as to not have to hear kids screaming, or 20-30 somethings who don’t understand that drinking is not an Olympic sport Will certainly be back

This hotel exceeded my expectationsIs a boutique hotel, with and excellent restaurant, great staff and an awesome locationThe beach at Deerfield is quiet, completely different from South Beach or Fort Lauderdale, is a beach where people respect the spaces

We spent 2 hours having dinner beach front and there wasn’t a single car with loud music, or even people with loud music at the beachThe staff was always willing to help, and giving this extra effort that is not easy to find in FloridaThe building is well design and maintained The aquarium on the roof of the restaurant is pretty coolThe menu at the restaurant was not very long (the way is supposed to be in a boutique hotel), the quality and preparation of the food was great The rissotto was the best I have ever hadThe rooms have a great view, great beds, pillows and the bathroom amenities are greatThanks Ramon and your team for such a great experience, it was a pleasure to spend our anniversary at your place, you made us feel very welcome

We enjoyed our stay at this resort They Valet outside was great and patient as we waited for the rest of our party, our receptionist, Jason was top notch getting us accommodated

It is a little pricey, with parking and views, but so is everything in south Florida on beachfront resorts Our room was phenomenal and spacious! Also, there were free drinks at bar during happy hour! We were extremely happy with our stay!

ashley castellano

Our room suite was very spacious and clean This is definitely a family friendly hotel and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed Totally appreciate that

The hotel staff is also incredibly friendly and I love how everyone seemed happy and cheerful They really try to ensure that guests enjoy their vacations and feel catered to The only minor and I mean very minor, thing I didn’t like was that the restaurant didnt feel like a restaurant because it’s also used as a seating area for breakfast and the evening receptions If they actually had a stand alone restaurant, this place would be flawless Overall, very clean, quiet, and amazing staff We would definitely come back again

Laurie Wiese

Enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront resort Suites are spacious with two bathrooms, shower in one and tub/shower in the other Hotel is overdue for an update but remains in overall good condition

Front desk staff was courteous upon check in/out Restaurant bar staff as well as beach chair/umbrella attendant nice and accommodating Onsite restaurant had good food Breakfast was good but in need of additional staff to clear tables and maintain breakfast buffet area which was a mess Beautiful beach, good pool and jacuzzi Lots of fun!

Fantastic stay We had a garden view studio and it was so clean and comfortable Cindy waited at the office for our arrival as we had a plane issue

Ice cold air conditioning, tidy kitchen, laundry facilities Two very quiet pools plus a 500 foot walk to a very clean, quiet beach Literally took less than 5 minutes to walk to restaurants, Walgreens, etc We will definitely come back again

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Lauderdale By The Sea, look no further Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants (5 minutes or less) Beach access right across the street!! From the moment we arrived I knew we chose the best place to stay

Cindy, the general manager found us wondering about and knew that we were the late arrivals She showed us around and then brought us to our room The room is very nicely updated and the cleanliness wasn’t lacking at all! The bed was very comfortable and the walk in closet was a huge plus Loved that we were provided with beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas Cindy held our luggage in the office after check out since we didn’t need to be at the airport right after All of the staff made us feel welcome and knew us by name We are looking forward to coming back next year and will definitely be booking at Sea Spray Inn❤

Jasmine Stancill

The location is amazing if you love easy and quick access to the beach and comes with free parking which was huge for us Upon arrival we were greeted by Cindy whose the GM and provided the smoothest and easiest check in experience imaginable Once we checked in Cindy showed us around and gave us a tour of where we’d be staying

The room was clean, tidy, and spacious There was coffee, a couple of snacks, some bottles of water in the fridge for us, and the cutest little teddy bear with their logo Cindy even offered to help us with our baggage and was willing to help make anything we wanted to do while vacationing happen We usually tend to just relax so we were fine but thought that was super nice to offer There were also various flyers and coupons you could take to use during your stay at the office We didn’t have to worry about beach towels, chairs or umbrellas since they were provided for you When you didn’t want to go to the beach they have a nice heated pull that felt amazing My husband and I had a great time and will definitely be back the next time we visit Fort Lauderdale!
