Our stay here was nice – the rooms were a little small but it suited our needs just fine The bed was comfortable, the shower was refreshing, and the food was tasty I wish our room had a small ceiling fan though; they help me sleep and keep the air from feeling too still, but I was still able to sleep

Also the location is nice and easy to find You’re close enough to the action to get to the shops and restaurants quickly (just a few minutes walk) but not too close to the central hub that you’re being disturbed by the train Overall, a good stay

Matt Brown

Rooms are small but usable Only has a floor heater in there so summer it could be hotService is friendly

Meals were inc in our booking but we only ate there once Food was good, nothing amazing hence why we wanted to try other placesDidn’t get to try the pool / sauna etc as they charge you extra to use it

Laurel Picard Francius

The ambience of this hotel was great Modern, eco-friendly, chic The rooms were a good size, and the beds very comfortable

Good service from the front desk and bell-hops The breakfast buffet had a good assortment with plenty of hot optionsA big drawback was the shortage of hot water After 4 days hiking the Inca trail we were ready for hot showers, unfortunately they were cool at best Others in our group experienced the same problem and spoke with the front desk staff who were able to temporarily fix the problem However in the morning the water was once again stone cold

Staffs are super friendly and helpful Beautiful outdoor roof seating with a bar The only reason I gave a 3 star is that their shower water is very unstable

We stayed 3 nights, the 1st night we were on the 1st floor there was barely any warm water We moved to 4th floor (no elevator, but staff will help bring the luggage up), we got no running water, waited until after 7:30pm to have water However shower water is just warm like 90-95F, and gets very cold every 30seconds We could barely have shower By the way the heater only works after 7pm everyday

Encatada is a very nice hotel! Great service, at the reception desk, at breakfast and rooms The room we had has a great view over a big part of Cusco The streets are narrow but cosy (for cars not easy to get at the entrance)

You need also to be able to walk upstairs, there are stairs at the entrance and no elevator in the hotel Service though is great: we even found a surprise in bed in the evening: a warm water bag!Location is 10 min walk from the center, so perfect

Paul Noone

Great place to stay in the unique neighborhood of San Blas within Cusco! The ladies working at the front desk were all so friendly and accommodating with our many requests! They helped us with laundry, arranging some great taxi drivers (including Alfredo!), holding onto our luggage while trekking to Machu Picchu, and setting up testing for flying back to the states They were all so great and really went above and beyond! Marco even took time out to give us a thorough run down of the Salkantay Trek, which we hiked to Machu Picchu Hotel Encantada offered a great breakfast each morning, and as a bonus even has great views over looking the city of Cusco! Booking a room here is a no brainer!

I had a massage and spa experience I have to say the service was nice The only thing why I give an lower than average rating was that I felt like I got cheated on with the money

I booked a back massage and the sauna and I didn’t know there is a promotion for both which is 140Sol SO no one told me and they let me pay the 210 Sol When I noticed the told me that my massage was 5 min longer than in the promotion and that is the reason for the additional price No one wanted to give me the money back in exchange Massage itself, the pool and the sauna are fine The monetary issue just made my experience less pleasing

Patrick The Jetman

A complete surprise

And quite positive too! Located on the water at the edge of town, this place is a nice, modern and friendly alternative to some of the more well known chains We stayed on the ground floor near the smaller of two pools The room came with a large patio with a partial water view Lots of grass, walking barefoot would be no problem considering all the grass that’s been planted And it’s impeccably clean I would go backLuis at the front desk is a great ambassador for the hotel We had a booking problem and he fixed it and made us very happy

Fernando montealegre

The Resort is great, very attentive staff and they are following all sanitary measures and safety regulations through the current global situationThe restaurant has a varied menu with traditional and other international options to pick, as well as the included breakfast buffet which has a wide variety of breakfast options suchs as scrambled eggs, fresh veggies and fruit, cereals, yogurt, pancakes, bread, quinoa salad, coffe, and other options that can vary from day to dayBoth pools are temperature controlled and the resort has towells and amenities like pool noodles and children toys available for use upon request

The resort also organizes activities, most family friendly like an outdoor cinema and live music show, as well as karaoke night and events on the Bar They also offer to organize tours around the islands and the Paracas Bay, which take off from their private pier, although you can also find these tours available at the town pier after a 10 minute walk through the beachThe only thing I might consider the resort should improve is the wifi inside the rooms, since the strength of the wifi sometimes is not enough or unstable while in the room Once you get on the balcony just outside your room it gets better thoughOverall, a very relaxing stay with a family friendly environment that can also work very well for a couples get awayDid I mentioned the resort is pet friendly as well?

I definitely recommend the upgrade to the ocean view room as the views are excellent Also the shuttle service to and from the airport made things effortless

Edwin Watkins

I do a lot of international travel and this hotel is one of the most efficient that I’ve stayed It appears to be relatively newThe layout of the hotel is interesting they have a rooftop bar restaurant

The restaurant service is a little slow they appear to be understaffed but everybody is going through that now It’s right on the water so if you can get an ocean view

The rooms are large with a good view of the lake but no kettle but there was a fridge and heating but no air conditioning The shower was cold and even after a visit from the hotel engineer the water was not much hotter The restaurant breakfast was buffet and quite good and there was a nice view of the lake

There were no shops or other restaurants open nearby The staff were quite friendly

Jayant Joshi

The room had a great view overlooking the lake and the staff are very friendly and helpfulBut1 there was no complimentary water in the room upon arrival2 Safe has a key which you have to look after – most modern hotels have an electronic lock3

The biggest gripe I have is that the shower and hand basin dont have hot water straight away You have to wait about 5 minutes Even then after having called the maintenance guy there was insufficient hot water or its control Thats not acceptable for a 4/5 star hotel

Its on good condition and very clean However our air conditioning didn’t work in our room We have a jr suite that in my opinion is a bit overpriced to begin with

When we asked for a different room with AC it was a much smaller room with no discount offered Because we are on a 4 month motorcycle trip and this is our several day rest stop, we wanted the space to spread out so we chose to stay in our suite with no AC We asked for a fan, which I was told they would bring one to our room, but never didFor the price, I would think the service would be betterBreakfast was really good

Matthew Gayford

While the hotel was not bad per se, I do not understand why it has so many five-star ratings here or can justifiably claimnto be a five star hotel While the bathroom was nice the water pressure was low and tue bedroom was not large Furnishings were mediocre with a polystyrene drop-ceiling and dated carpeting

Staff were friendly bu not overly helpful, and there was no coffee or tea and the rooms and not even a kettle Not an awful stay, but not good

We were really looking forward to eating at the Arennas restaurant as it looked so nice Unfortunately our experience was far from After eating the food we suffered an entire day of sickness and vomiting

We had been in Peru for over 2 weeks with no issues whatsoever and the most expensive meal of the holiday wound up costing us an entire day of bed rest Avoid

Augusto Cangahuala

This is by far the nicest hotel in the area The place is perfect wherever you look The views and the beach are stunning, and the restaurant is fabulous

We spent a few hours there celebrating our wedding anniversary and son’s birthday and they set up a nice table for our party right in front of the big screen they had to watch the world cup games on TV Everything was wonderful, however I don’t give it a 5 star review due to the fact the hotel has lost the warmth it used to have when we got married there 13 years ago Back then, they made you feel like family, while now you are a customer

First time at this property and it was great Was warmly greeted on arrival and also, the A/GM Carolina took a few minutes to introduce herself Situated in a quieter neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of other parts of Lima

Breakfast selection at the main floor restaurant, Isidro Bistro Limeno was plentiful Nice gym on roof top as well as a pool and bar but it was a bit cold for a dip Muted colour scheme coupled modern decor in my room was aesthetically pleasing Thick towels and good bath amenities I look forward to returning for a longer stay

Paul Freeman

The staff make any hotel stand out The food and accommodation here are great but you would expect them to beThe differentiator is how welcome you feel

The staff at Hyatt Centric San Isidro have made this hotel feel like a family enterprise They are welcoming and personableDuring a recent extended stay I experienced that rare feeling of not being just a customer but a guestIt would be wrong to single anyone out because the team spirit was clear From experienced seniors such as Fabrizio and Diego, hospitality student Majo and the front desk team Enrico, Kristin and Gianfranco, all the staff I met were excellent ambassadors for the Hyatt brand and for this hotel specificallyThank you

This rating is for the restaurant- I have not stayed at the hotel Went with two friends – three separate drinks and three separate meals (Also shared one phenomenal dessert)

Enjoyed everything! Also received a free tour of the organic garden and distillery (with tasting samples!)Highly recommend the restaurant; hot grounds were pretty too Quite a walk from Plaza de Armas, but worth it!!

Sandra MS

The hotel location is extremely convenient and it is inside the train station while also being eco-friendly The breakfast served was delicious and it included a variety of fruits, breads, eggs, and drinks (Coffee, tea, juices) There is the cutest dog that lives within the hotel who loves pets and cuddles

However, the hotel is overpriced For the amount we paid, we expected to have working heat, a shower that didn’t back up, and not have ants everywhere When we asked about getting the heater fixed, they sent us more of the portable units which helped make the room warmer However, they were supposed to fix it or move us rooms as we were staying multiple days Neither occurred and we did not get any updates/response on why they wouldn’t move us rooms or fix the heat

Swade Geiger

We booked this hotel last minute during a transportation strike in the region The front desk staff were highly accommodating, given the circumstances, a huge influx of people trying to book rooms, make changes, etc The room was very simple, but comfortable

It was probably slightly overpriced, but that could have just been because of the massive demand It is literally on the train tracks, you have to pass through the train station security to access it If you have an early train, and you’re not a morning person, you can sleep in until the very last minute

We arrived at the hotel a little bit earlier in the morning since this was the best flight for us to arrive in Lima Of course we understand that at 10 in the morning there is a good chance the room is not readyBut the reaction to this was quite bad

First impressions matter a lotWe had a reservation at a restaurant at 14:00 so we wanted to change our clothes, the only thing available were the toilets at the lobbyThen we wanted to take a shower after a long trip, fair enough there are showers on the rooftop near the poolIt was almost like we were going to steal something there because at all times there had to be an employee with a keycard with us I mean we already even paid the hotel so why not give us a temporary keycard so we can just enjoy already some of the amenitiesAfter that the hotel was quite nice, the interior looks amazing and the breakfast is really goodJust that first impression left us with a little bit of a bad memory

Alice Zymelka

Very beautiful Hotel, decorated with so much style and beautiful artThe service here is fantastic and everyone is really niceA big thank you goes to Beatriz, who made sure that we had a fantastic time in Pullmann! We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant Plural, which is located in the base floor

The food was outstanding 👌Their rooftop bar Alba is the most beautiful rooftop that we know in Lima and offers you an almost 360° of the cityEnjoy an amazing time with good music and great drinks! You will also be able to enjoy some small dishes hereMake sure to make a reservation in advance

From the moment we arrived we knew our stay was going to be awesome The room was great, sitting right on the river with serene views It’s hard to express in words how incredible the staff was

Carlos working the bar was the highlight of our trip, great energy and always went way above and beyond, he makes a hell of a drink too I didn’t get the name of the man helping us in the morning but he was just as incredible, even walking some of our family to the market to help find specific things, and making home made hot sauce on the spot during breakfast The rest of the staff was always friendly, and beyond helpful No question that this is the spot to stay when you’re in town We appreciate everyone there and can’t wait to come back! If you’re deciding on where to stay, this is the spot!

Loved the location The room was just right with a fantastic view of the river WI-FI sucked

Weak signal and off and on Staff was great Only other issue was slow check in Otherwise great place to stay as long as you are on river side Train passes right in front of hotel and rumbles building I discovered some ancient drawings that not even the locals had noticed They all thought they were water stains

Craig Vickers

Everything at this hotel was above and beyond what I expected Beautiful rooms right on the river, close to everything But what made it amazing was the staff

Every single one of them went above and beyond to make it a special stay and even help me correct the huge mistake I made that almost made me miss getting into Macchu Pichu Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Sonesta Hotel El Olivar for a week on business in Lima What a wonderful experience The hotel and its staff was splendid

The location is wonderful, close to a park with great dining near by and walking distance to Kennedy park A safe area to walk and experience Lima suburbs The in-hotel dining was also top-notch They organised everything in a professional and efficient manner, from airport transfers to pre-flight COVID tests

Matty Saric

Had a very awful experience at this hotel, due to the fact that, my husband and myself, together with 6 more persons, including a small child, were not given a room, although we had vouchers from American Airlines to stay at the hotel They told us, that the hotel did not have authorization from AA to give us a roomThey didn’t even have the politeness of offering us a glass of water, even though they knew we had been at Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez from Lima, Perú, since 3am, as our flight was due to depart from Lima to Dallas at 7:45am on March 19th

The flight was cancelled, and departed that same date at 10pm!!

I can’t stop saying that their services and staff are totally qualified as excellent This time i could stay more days and was so comfortable and quite Love the attention of all the staff they are so adorable and kind

We absolutely adored this place So cozy and homey and we were so very well taken care of We cannot speak highly enough of our stay here

The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to take excellent care of us They brought us hot water bottles every night to warm our beds and we took to looking forward to it all day The breakfast spread was truly splendid and made for a perfect send off each morning They even had a breakfast to-go when we left at 4:30AM on our last day in Cusco to go on the Rainbow Mountain tour They stored our extra luggage for us any time we needed to check out, but not take it with us We will both plan on staying here again if we find ourselves back in Cusco in the future

My partner and I stayed in the Miraflores Park Hotel for one month in January when we first moved to Lima The staff were wonderful – very friendly and attentive We were made to feel at home and they couldn’t have helped us more when settling into Lima

The staff knew us by name within a couple of days and would help with restaurant recommendations, laundry, and even arranging a large van to move to our new apartment at the end of our stay They also helped us improve our Spanish when trying to order food and drinksThe food is also incredible – the breakfast had so much choice and was always very fresh We frequently ate in Tragaluz for lunch & dinner which was always delicious and had a lovely atmosphereThe rooms are clean and spacious We still had a lot of room, even with the number of bags and items we had with us The shower was one of the best I have ever had and each night they left a delicious little cake during turn downThe rooftop pool area looked over the pacific ocean and was a perfect spot to watch the sunset in the evening with uninterrupted viewsThere is absolutely nothing to fault with this hotel and we cannot recommend it enough
