This hotel was much nicer than I was expecting for the price! We arrived very late after landing at 1am I called ahead to notify them that we were still coming and they had our key all ready for us It was well lit and I felt safe there traveling with my child

There was a dog odor in the room, but when we turned on the air it dissipated quickly The beds were comfy and the room was clean and recently updated Breakfast was standard hotel hot breakfast with a pancake machine It was well stocked and the staff working it was friendly

Anthony Strong

The room was not clean A huge spider crawled out the shower when I opened the door The thing had to be quarter sized or better

I requested services as I was leaving both mornings for work and I got nothing The floor in the room was uneven By uneven I mean there was a hilltop between the bed and dresser Walls were thin, and despite calling the front desk, I had to go and politely ask my neighbors to please be quiet at 12:35 am I strongly do not recommend

Dionne Melton

Their phone only works sometimes When we, meaning me and other guests reported it to the front desk person she said she doesn’t know how to fix the phones Breakfast attendant was friendly and helpful but the breakfast items were not good

Fruit that was minutes from being spoiled, some type of strange egg patties, and mushy sausages The rooms needed some work, the desk had burn marks The hotel was so over run with kids that it sounded like galloping horses above our head Children we’re running the halls late A nice gentleman working did go and quiet then down We also didn’t get to utilize the pool or spa because they were full of small children with very few adults They also had a group holding a late night meeting in a conference room When it was over they just all stood around the lobby loudly hanging out They also helped themselves to the coffee and tea area and the attendant didn’t replenish it When I said there aren’t even any more cups or lids she said, how many do you want Lol I also complained that the walkways outside were ice covered She said that was handled by an outside company and that they had salted the previous night The beds were comfy I wish I could have left a better review

I never write reviews but our experience was so good so I had to share! My husband and our dog Daisy stayed at the Dog House hotel for a weekend and we had a great time From the moment we checked in to out the staff were extremely friendly The room design was awesome

We enjoyed our cookie and stout happy hour and breakfast provided by the hotel We ate at the restaurant two times and really enjoyed it, especially since they have many vegetarian options It was so nice that our dog could enjoy time with us on the patio too Wonderful place!

Kara S

My husband and I stayed here for a night to celebrate his birthday It was so much fun! We are already planning our visit back!We ate at the restaurant and food was great! The wings were fantastic! Loved the beer too!The hotel was comfy and loved the perks of staying there You receive a cookie and stout in the evening, a complimentary beer or seltzer at check in, and a wonderful full breakfast including mimosas! We did do the beer museum tour and were surprised it was so small

If you aren’t a true beer aficionado you won’t think it’s worth your time You have to do a lot of reading and it’s all in a small space We enjoyed it though!Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Thomas J. Morrisey

Really comfortable and clean rooms with very reasonable priced minibars stuffed with awesome beers Lots of small but extremely thoughtful elements like an extra large umbrella in the closet you can borrow Extremely friendly, helpful and flexible staff

Shout out to Jacob the lobby bar evening bartender! Had a wonderful visit, this place would be at the very top of my list for a return visit to Columbus

Customer Service is lacking Just a tip: maybe try smiling at your guests? That’s kind of CS 101 We chose this hotel because we needed to stay with our cats while we showed our house and they are pet friendly

We left a night early as we scheduled showings earlier in the day on our last night and they didn’t inquire as to why we were leaving early (if we were unhappy with the room etc) Breakfast sucks, but we expected that Our room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable It was fairly quiet, as well

Ranell Prioleau

The hotel is nice however they have bed bugs I am not one to do a review but the way the hotel handled it was unacceptable I woke up to something crawling on my pillow at almost 5am, so I was able to capture it and I proceed to the bathroom with bug in my hand

Get to the bathroom kill it and a lot of blood is on the tissue I get my phone to do a Google search on what kind of big is this and it came back as a bed bug This was new to me because I have never seen one before So I call the front desk to notify them of what just happened He told me to call back around 7am when the manager gets in (He did try to find me another room but they were booked) no problem I just sat in the chair at the desk until later So I proceed to the desk later that morning when the manager arrives and I say “Good morning , I wanted to just report that there are bed bugs in room I am in” he proceeds to tell me “No they are not we check all of our mattresses and flip them over” 🤔😡 So now you are calling me a lair? At this point I was over it because I only came to be courtesy to let you know what I found at your hotel So now you want to say I am a lair that is a problem to me because I have no reason to lie I am a Diamond member and I always stay at Hilton hotels So I proceed to show him the picture of the bug and now he says oh maybe it is a one but we check all of our begs Not once did he apologize for calling me a lair So now I have red welts on my face and arm that itch like crazy So if you stay be safe and careful!

Nykemah Cannon

To start off the room was nice there were just stains on one of the desk and the toilet seat & bathroom door was broken We were expecting to at least sit at the pool but the chlorine was so strong (and if you don’t know that means that the water is extremely dirty) I couldn’t even stand in there for 5 minutes with out my eyes burning and my head starting to hurt But overall our stay was amazing and employees were very welcoming

Gary Zarycki

I had a great stay at the Fairfield CMH Airport Each of the Fairfield staff employees I dealt were extremely helpful and friendly I needed to rent a car and the GM took me there himself, I can only assume he has staffing challenges like most in the service industry today, regardless he was happy and quick to assist

Honesty the difference is the quality of staff – most hotel properties are very similar, but the GM must be a good leader because he and his team were spot on

Jenny Spencer

Very attractive exterior and interior Most importantly it is clean and doesn’t look worn-out This is a little inconvenience but the room didn’t have a USB slot so I had to locate a plug end to charge my phone and tablet

The breakfast area has this so I am there to charge my phone On a positive note, the decor is attractive and it’s pleasant to sit in the lobby area

Jessica Lopez

Great place with friendly customer service personnel Very clean rooms Comfortable beds

Close to the airport, but you need to call ahead for the shuttle or you will wait The only downfall is the current construction There are obvious safety hazards including screws protruding from the walls in lobby which easily catch clothing

I booked this particular room for the fireplace Upon check-in, was informed they are all out of service I asked for some type of credit or upgrade for my inconvenience

The Manager upgraded me to a one bedroom suite After surveying the room, I discovered their was garbage under the sink, dishes were still in the dishwasher and all the pots and pans were gone I brought groceries to cook I called down to inform the Manager He said he would send a skillet and a pot up Also was advised the garage would be picked up at that time 30 minutes later, I called again I was informed the housekeeper was searching all the available rooms for a pot and to wait a few more minutes Housekeeping arrived with one pot That was all he could find The quality of the sofa is very poor It feels like sitting on concrete This experience has tarnished my image of Marriott

Genade

The room was beautiful and the property is well maintained That’s why the writing all around our front door was very odd Also, the door to one of the bedrooms was completely off the hinges and could not be shut

Did not have housekeeping for the 4 days we were there Asked for additional towels at the front desk and was told they would bring them up and we never received them

Krista Mills

Travel nurses beware! The location is perfect That is the only plus Washing machines not working

Housekeeping is poor Front desk staff, with the exception of one woman, is a joke (poor customer service, sarcastic responses to issues) I’ve had mail sent to me at the hotel and, even after speaking with front desk and letting them know I was expecting mail, it was returned with the delivery driver because no one by my name was staying there At that time I had been there 4 weeks After several complaints regarding housekeeping, the manager came by our room I was sleeping (I work nights) so I didn’t get to the door in time so they let themselves in and yelled through the bedroom door for me to come out When I walked to the living area the manager and a housekeeper were inside our room The very next day, twice within 10 minutes, staff(I assume housekeeping) was beating on the door and trying to come in but I had the door latched I am relocating to another extended stay in Easton I have always enjoyed my stays at Marriott locations, but this place is terrible The one star is strictly for location

I had to come here last minute due to my flight getting delayed until the following morning The staff have ALL been very friendly and able to answer and questions I’ve had The service in the restaurant was quick and efficient too

This hotel is also clean and comfortable There was an issue with my key card when trying to get in my room and the front desk agent had maintenance come up immediately I don’t know the gentleman’s name in maintenance who fixed my key card issue but he was very kind and I had a nice conversation with him He thought at first it was the batteries in their key machine but it ended up being the key card they assigned me The Maintenance employee went down to the front desk and got me a new card within in minutes Thank you Hilton Garden for amazing Guest Service!!

Ed Robinson

I really enjoyed staying here, the staff was wonderful And they have a very small Restaurant But I got to tell you the restaurant is standing for this type of hotel

I have not had better chicken wings They knock it out of the park and all the other items I had on the dinner menu were fantastic The chef really does a wonderful job I know it’s hard to believe from a small little hotel like this but I believe the chef’s name is James he is awesome Oh and the Coney dog it’s incredible

Jose Rojas

The staff was welcoming and kept everything moving at a good pace I booked the room after my flight to Orlando, FL got cancelled Checked in close to 11 PM the bed was comfortable and the best part of the room was the TV having accessibility to services like netflix and not being too slow

checked out early and they provide transportation to the airport Staff was friendly throughout the room was clean and comfortable

The whole staff has been so caring and gracious The GM has been the best GM Ive ever dealt with and she has put the best team together here Mary is the breakfast host and is so caring and friendly

The Front desk ladies are fantastic and very helpful Like I said a great team here and made our stay so comfortable and made it feel like home! Thank you to the whole staff We appreciate you!

Anne Hopkins

I had called the day I was arriving to make this reservation I chose this hotel based on price, and the fact that she had a pool When I called this specific hotel not the 800 number to make the reservation they did not mention the pool was closed

I would have stayed at one of the many hotels nearby had I known there was no pool available I had been driving a long time and I’ve always enjoy swimming when I stay in hotels This detail should have been mentioned as it was listed as an amenity

Ted Vartorella

Despite appearing to be an older Hampton the facility and rooms were clean Strong smell of cigarettes as we entered the lobby area but not in the room Despite being clean there was peeling paint in the bathroom, a nonfunctional thermostat shell on the wall and loose wall paper noticed in room and breakfast area

The staff was very friendly and polite The breakfast was above average for a Hampton The facility needs a total interior face-lift

We decided to take a quick getaway to Columbus and this location was fantastic The room quality and size for the price can’t be beat The room was very clean and the check-in/out procedure was easy

They had a great selection for breakfast and the employees handling that were very friendly as well We did not use the pool but it was open and looked clean We will definitely use this hotel again if we are back in the area

Angela Sebesy

You can tell that the staff cares about the cleanliness of the hotel, due to how clean the rooms were Only reason for the 4/5 is because the walls are paper thin and we were woken up several times by the teenagers in the room next to us between 1a – 3a We had to call down to the front desk 3 separate times to rectify the situation and they did send someone up each time we called

Breakfast was good, even had gluten free options Definitely a convenient location if you are going to Easton for a shopping trip!

DJ E

Amazing hotel, just went last weekend! Very clean, pool wasn’t as clear as I thought it would be, but it was probably a lot of people that went in There must had been a cheer competition going on nearby, it was really busyOverall very comfortable, clean hotel, staff was amazing! This is probably the best hotel in Columbus, especially with it being by a shopping mall!

Stayed here for work, first time Outstanding property, as I remember a Marriott ( Courtyard) being Very friendly staff, girl in Bistro in the morning was very nice and accomodating

Spotless room, gym is the best I’ve been too Hotel is bright, clean, smells purified as far as air quality Top notch property, can’t say enough good things about it Places to walk to for dining, safe area, as I walked to eat by myself at night

Jan Schmidt

Did not enjoy my experience at this motel No coffee or cream in lobby Cafe area was closed at 6:30 and still at 8

No coffe available for guests Service in room was little to none No coffee cups in room to even make black coffee in the roomOur room was clean Bed was wonderful; but absolutely no frills or welcoming atmosphere Not an attractive location Definitely not up to Marriott’s standards

Bill French

Most staff were friendly The programmable thermostat kept the room at 80 degrees all night and the fan ran all night sounding like a washing machine running The room was clean and the bed comfortable though

The morning breakfast was closed due to a no call no show employee They need a cross trained employee or some form of ack up plan

I selected this rating because the hotel was in an expensive area and I expected the hotel to be in much better shape than it was I arrived and got on the elevator only for there to be multiple chunks taken out of the floor This would be a huge risk for someone with a wheelchair or walker

I got off the elevator and you could smell that the carpet has a permanent unpleasant odor Then I get to my room and the curtain was broken going diagonal across the window and a metal piece that was supposed to be mounted to the wall was on the floor and the screws laying beside it I went to the front desk and the girl was adamant about putting me in a different room so I got put across the hall The second room I was put into also needed a work order because the bathroom sink didn’t drain It was an inconvenience to have to use the shower for my hand washing and dental hygiene The morning receptionist asked how my stay was and I told her staying at a Hampton inn in Easton Columbus I expected the hotel to be in better shape for what I payed and that my second room had a non draining sink She said ohh I will put a work order in and have a nice day I payed too much money to stay in such a run down hotel

Nic West

I really appreciated the location of this hotel, it was so close to shopping I got a room upgrade which I absolutely appreciated The room was huge! The bed was great as well

I didn’t care for the bathroom set up, with the vanity area being outside of the actual bathroom My only issue was the noise I think my neighboring room played music until the late hours and the front desk option didn’t work on the phone But all in all, I would stay here again

Meghann Shalosky

Overall, my stay was good for the price I paid The rooms are nice enough, thought they are a bit on the small side and dated There were a few pieces of cereal along the baseboards and the entertainment center that had been missed by housekeeping and the lighting wasn’t the greatest in the room, but the beds were comfortable

The bathroom was fairly clean but, again, dated Not long after check in we received a call from the front desk asking if we were satisfied with our room, so customer service seemed great Breakfast was from 6-9 On Monday the breakfast was good, but on Tuesday it was cold, hard, and not everything was in stock Monday evening I sat in the lobby and noticed leftover bits of food on one of the couches and under a decorative pillow Something was wrong with the elevator buttons, so on any of the upper floors we had to press the going up button even if we were going down Based on another review, this has been a problem for a while now

Kate Fredericks

I stayed here for 6 nights, and I will attest that location is wonderful However, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired The gym is missing weights, there’s no yoga mats

The room was comfortable but my room had some baseboard trim missing, the shower body soap bottle was detached from the wall and so someone had just propped it up on the shelf Only gave me one hand towel and one wash cloth The worst part was breakfast While it’s great that they were doing “made to order,” every morning there was a big line, which took forever Also, they were missing a bunch of things on the menu Menu advertised Impossible sausage, they didn’t have it, avocado toast was supposed to have sun dried tomato and arugula, and it was simply multi-grain bread with store bought guacamole slathered on and one cold hard boiled egg Bagels, no cream cheese, bagel was barely toasted and still cold in the middle The eggs were greasy I don’t understand how this hotel is approved by the Marriott brand

Theresa Porter

The hotel was nice and clean Did not try the cafe but the food smelled goodHad a king size bed that was very comfortable, had a couch that could be a sleeper

Bathroom w/shower was great! TV w/great selection of channels Also did not make it to the pool or the exercise room The hotel is in an awesome location, walking distance to shopping and restaurants!

Timothy Carter

Oh man this was a disappointing experience My normal experience with Courtyards is positive but this place failed to live up to that Let’s dive in

AC Unit:During the night, something in the AC unit produced a sound that I would describe as a monster truck with a helicopter rotary mounted on top This is my main complaint and everything else is a minor annoyanceThe Shower:The lack of water pressure was disappointing but not uncommon What confused me was the lack of body wash in one of the three mounted dispensersThe Bite:After a night of AC terror I found what I believe to be an insect bite on my stomach While I can’t confirm I got it in the hotel I wouldn’t be surprised at this pointIn closing, I had a lovely time here before going to bed but after that it was all downhill I won’t be coming back until some major reservations have been made that are more in par with the standards of Easton

The room was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for the event we attended However the pet fee is much too high, I’ve never paid $75 ever for a pet fee and we travel with our dog all the time Also there is NO decent green space near by for walking the dog to do his business (our dog will not poop on asphalt or concrete!) Oh and paying extra for parking is ridiculous too, the extra costs made our visit over $100 MORE expensive for just two nights!

The room was great and the staff was nice and friendly House keeping was very friendly and helpfullI will say this, i don’t know if people go there to smoke or if it was just the weekened i went there, but i couldn’t ride the elevator or walk through the hallway without being smacked by the smell of pot

Might be a one off weekend I dont think this has anything to do with the hotel itself, but it was mighty powerful the first night i was there and the next nightOtherwise Home 2 Suites, you do a good job

As a frequent traveler and a member, will definitely not stay at this location on my next tripFront Desk staff was very nice and helpful at check-in in but, we get to the room and the bathroom was not well cleanedThere was no tissue papers in the room nor the bathroom

Toilet paper was almost finished and we still have not received any as I write this review even though I have asked for oneI tried calling the Front desk and no one is picking upThere is no sign for do not disturb in our roomWe specifically asked for microwave when booking and was told they would provide it, we got to the room and there was no microwave so I had ask and was told they have it only in the suite so I insisted the check the recorded call before I was provided with oneFor someone who doesn’t know much about staying in a hotel and the standard amenities that comes with it, this hotel will be paradise for them but definitely not for me and my family

Room was dirty, pretty sure bathroom hadn’t been cleaned from previous guest Soap was missing from the box on the counter Needs updating on things that are broken or damaged

Some lights wouldn’t work, or the phone or alarm clock Food/stains on walls, carpet and around lights by bed Hot tub was completely yellow and pool was not clear and had stuff floating in it Front desk staff was nice and helpful Location was good But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone We used a recommendation from a local store to stay here and I’ve notified them of the conditions of the hotel and that maybe they should pull their recommendation from the website We didn’t even attempt to try breakfast The ratings on this are very misleading It wasn’t a good stay at all

You’re mostly paying for the location of this hotel in my opinion The place is a bit run-down Our room was clean, but had some noticeable issues

They didn’t provide enough towels and getting extras was difficult (we had to resort to grabbing pool towels at one point) Our mini fridge had what I can only describe as a god-awful smell- to the point that it was unusable The mechanism for the window shade was broken, so we mostly just kept the shade down because getting it to move was very difficultThe staff was very friendly and hard-working, so we appreciated that And breakfast was on-par with other Holiday Inn Express locations That said, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again simply because it was not a good value for the money

We have stayed at this hotel MANY times over the past 15 years Our family lives in Lancaster and we travel there to see them 2-3 times per year We ALWAYS stay at this hotel because the staff are excellent and the rooms are very nice

We love the convenience, the indoor pool but especially the fact that we can bring our pets The accomodations are very clean and nice and the breakfast is wonderful! We highly recommend this hotel SB

My brother, Craig, and I were supposed to have a handicap accessible room with a roll-in shower for me We we there for our dad’s calling hours and funeral We didn’t get that

We had a bathtub that I had to slide into Well, I ended up with bruised butt bones, and broken tailbone ’cause I thuded down when I slid in, ’cause the grab bars wouldn’t let me lower myself down safely And, the shower hose wouldn’t reach me very well, as I had to sit in the bottom of the bathtub to shower The bed, well it was too high and hard to get into it We needed a wheelchair accessible room, but didn’t get it But the breakfast was awesome!
