Friendly Neighborhood Black Man

My girlfriend and I came to the sweets because she was having surgery in the area The room was very nice it included a kitchen with modern and up-to-date appliances The shower is very tremendous it was a walking shower which was very nice this Saturday it was me and my girlfriend so use your imagination

The only problem I had was the water pressure in the shower And since they were two of us in the shower we had to take turns to use the water because the water pressure would not allow the water to reach the second person so that was awful Other than that the breakfast was very nice in the morning complimentary of course Who was very nice The staff were excellent But the one other problem I had was a location it was mostly in an industrial site even though it was nearby the airport Other than that I would say five stars for everything included they just need to tighten up on some areas

Of course this is not a five star but a really good relations price versus service and quality of roomsBreakfast included is good option It’s close to the airport, have great nice spaces outside the room for quite good moments of relax or readings

After a very long day at the airport this place was just what we needed! We were greeted by the two men in charge of shuttling people to and from the airport They were waiting on us upon booking, and we were greeted with such kindness and joy! Evelio and Lorenzo were absolutely incredible! They helped us figure out transportation around town, and after a very long and frustrating day, they gave us so much joy! We left the shuttle with a smile on our face! The hotel is only a few years old and in excellent condition The rooms are very clean, and the beds are so comfy! I can not recommend this place enough! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Clean modern rooms with lots of space and good wifi! Pet fees range from $75-150 (seems high for the location) La Quinta is right next door with cheaper fees if your looking to save Lastly you’re going to hear airplanes all day and into the night Not a complaint but a reality of the location

The worst Hyatt I’ve ever stayed in For over 220$ a night we got a room for disabled people which had a super gross shower that didn’t work It was not 100% clean and it’s unbelievably loud from outside

We had another hotel here on the airport before which didn’t have any noise from outside The room had two separate small beds instead of a bed for a couple which is unbelievable for this price and It also ruined our last day of vacation here The breakfast is even worst because it’s served on small plastic plates which plastic cutlery… Do your self a favor and don’t book this hotel!

I dropped down the rating as I just checked my bill and saw a additional expense I called Hyde Midtown It seems they were missing a mini bar item The day I check out I spoke with management and ask for them to look into their own personel to have made sure all items were there when I check in, or if it was the same person replenishing and taking the items For this dishonesty in-house I am no longer happy with the experience of me staying at Hyde Park Midtown It could have been a honest mistake However I am not paying a extra $60 because someone decided to pull a fast one Specially when my room was left in immaculate condition

Nice hotel located about ten minutes from the airport terminals They have a free shuttle to and from the airport that runs from 4:00 AM to midnight so that’s a definite plus They even took us back just to have our COVID tests done and picked us again

The rooms are clean and spacious, the bed large and comfortable, and everything worked Water pressure is excellent; love the new rainfall shower heads It even included a small refrigerator and microwave along with the coffee maker The buffet breakfast included in the room price was decent and plentiful and it also starts at 6:30 AM, which is a plus if you have an early day There is a small indoor pool, but we never got a chance to use it and a business center where you can print boarding passes and other documents Would stay here again

Bad – The hotel pictures are a brighter than reality, although technically it looks like that Amazing what some lighting can do The room smells a bit old/ musty We had to wait for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel for 40-45 minutes (when it was only supposed to 15-20) The driver forgot to pick us up 🙁 There are a couple of places to eat that you can walk to, but not a lot

The pictures looked nice and the rates were decent Against my better judgment, I didn’t read any reviews for the property First, the area around the property immediately screamed “ghetto” The chairs in the lobby are so dirty, stained, and obviously need to be replaced My room had trash left from previous guests The shower (actually the entire bathroom) was absolutely disgusting There was Hair and stains everywhere The light switches were also stained and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years I honestly felt gross my entire stay I do not recommend this hotel at all The only good thing was that our room was close to the elevator so we could leave Ruined my trip for sure

The stay was good for the most part We were out most of the day so we basically just came back to the hotel to change or sleep The pool didn’t seem as clean as I would’ve expected and some of my friends felt that it was salty? We were missing a hair dryer, but that probably could’ve been fixed by going up front to ask for one

Free breakfast was nice The hotel is very close to the airport so that made our early flight out a lot easier With traffic, the beach/downtown areas were about 40 mins Oh and parking is $2000 PER night so definitely keep that in mind! We’d stayed at an Element in Utah, and the experience there had me very excited to try the Element in Miami I can only conclude from other reviews that this hotel exists in two dimensions Unfortunately, we ended up in the darkest timeline

“OK“ is a generous review for the alternate dimension in which we ended up It was late at night when we arrived Even later than it should have been with the very late shuttle – it’s apparent now the other dimension gets the on-time shuttle The room layout was great, the bed semi-comfortable, and a local overpriced, under-whelming pizza joint delivered At 11 pm, that was important It was also the best part of our stay The first room we were given was dirty Towels stuffed into the rack behind the door, dirty counters, hair, and dust all over the floor dirty The hotel moved us ThankfullyThe second room was cleaner than the first but not much cleaner In the darkest timeline, the hotel looks old inside and out, and the staff is tired So very tired The pandemic has hit double hard in this alternate dimension I was scared we’d hit this dimension on our return stay, so I quickly changed my reservation to the Residence Inn, where we had a great stay To those considering a stay at this Element, may be odds be ever in your favor

Nice place to stay Calm neighborhood in general But the wall are thin like paper and unfortunately, my daughter and I has to deal with an arguing couple noises all night long

We felt like we were in the same house😔 The kitchen is full option, the place was very clean and comfy Didn’t like the bed but it’s just a question of taste There are buses stops around, some food markets 8 min away at feet

From start to finish, staying here was seamless! We got the code for the lock box well before check in time and we were able to check in and out with no interaction with others Towels, shampoo, and body wash are provided and the room has many provided amenities Our only complaint was that the walls were extremely thin and we could hear every word our neighbor was saying as well as when they were using their television

Just take that into consideration as it resulted in lost sleep for us

I stayed at Cottages El Portal while I had to host several presentations throughout Miami/Naples/Boca Raton for the week It was the perfect location to get anywhere, and the neighborhood was very quiet Made sleeping at night easy especially with the AC unit by the window next to the bed

My room had a full kitchen so I was able to go get groceries down the street, like a 5 minute drive away I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a lowkey stay in a cool, authentic Miami neighborhood with gyms, great restaurants, and everything else you need nearby

Smells incredible and includes all you will need as complimentary little things The pool area is incredible and has a bunch of games for the kiddos on a hidden little area past the laundry mat Very friendly bartender/server I got a chicken Caesar my bf got a Cuban sandwich and coconut shrimp I was craving a salad and it def hit w the chicken The coconut shrimp was bomb and intense flavor w it’s little mango salad on top

Reasonably priced in a great location- convenient to both Miami and Miami Beach The building has been around for over 30 years since it was “Inn on the Bay” and I remember it not being so nice back then The Best Western affiliation is relatively new and they have done a great job cleaning the place up

Our room seemed recently renovated Pool was very relaxing and never got too crowded Shuckers restaurant on the property is incredible Gym on the premises as well Breakfast was not included- they wanted $15

I stayed here for five nights, and my room was not cleaned daily Two days went by without my room being cleaned I called the front desk repeatedly on numerous occasions, and no one answered

Therefore, I went down to the lobby and was given the run-around The only thing the person at the front desk did was send clean towels and left trash bags for me to change my own trash Upon check-in, the front desk provided no assistance and was unwilling to answer travel questions related to this area All they did was smirk and then just ignored me Overall the front desk was rude and had no hospitality The benefits of staying here were the bed was extremely comfortable, and it was not hard to catch public transportation

I really enjoyed staying here while we worked the Miami Boat Show The attendant that checked us in was awesome, the restaurant was great, bartenders and waitstaff were hard workers and friendly Only downfall are the restrooms at the bar

I had to keep going back to my room On the water was a plus, not to far from other shops and restaurants!

I had a hard time choosing a hotel in Miami and ended up going with this one We weren’t sure where we wanted to stay in town and we didn’t want to go with the priciest option, so this seemed like a good middle ground on all fronts It ended up working out well! It seemed to be 15-25 minutes from everything we wanted to see in Miami

The rooms were very nice and the hotel seemed new or at least recently renovated The staff was always friendly, especially the housekeepers we saw in hallways and on elevators The breakfast was passable–we mostly grabbed fruit and muffins Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice

The room was 3hrs until ready and fine with the exception of the AC which was working fine when we got there but we went out and came back to the room the AC was barely keeping the room cool the shower pressure left a lot to be desired as it was a little more than just a trickle

Otherwise the staff was great and we had no other issues 🐻

3)Maid knocked on door at 8:30AM with the Do not disturb placard on the door4) Called Hilton Honors to address my concern and they patched me to the physical location at this Hampton Inn Management took my information and detailed account said he’d call back same day but never did For the money they charge DO not waste your dollar

Bright Light

I highly recommend this hotel It is a one minute drive on their complimentary shuttle and the views from the hotel inside and out are breathtaking It sits on a beautiful golf course with wildlife close by

They even have signs up by he pool explaining the wildlife and everything you need to know if you encounter such species The restaurant food and service is 5 star The amazing fresh fruit flavoured complimentary water in the lobby is beyond delicious It is a 5 start hotel and I can promise you if we ever come back to Miami we will be staying there

We were displaced from the airport due to the inefficiency of the airlines We needed to spend the night so we could fly out the next day The hotel accommodated us quickly and gave us a pretty good price

What I would like to say is that the young girl that helped us at the front desk was phenomenal We just got married and she helped calm our nerves from the frustration of the airlines I don’t remember her name, but she was Venezuelan and has short brown curly hair She provided us with some appetizer and drink vouchers for the restaurant It was such a nice gesture and made our night more pleasant We enjoyed some empanadas and chicken wings at the restaurant before going up to bed so we could make our 8:45 AM flight the next day The hotel does need some updating, but it did the job for what we needed it for The bed was pretty comfortable I would really just like to thank that girl at the front desk again She was working Monday 4/4/22 around 6:30 PM if that helps identify her

Double room was nice but no refrigerator They have a shuttle bus to the airport which arrives every 15 minutes The gift shop owners were wonderful, kind, always welcomed you with a smile I absolutely loved this women owned business

Has a gym, pool, bar, and restaurant The workers at the restaurant were very nice and the food was good I was able to use their amenities while waiting for my flight 5 minutes from the airport Very affordable hotel
