Our house ended up being delayed by a month, so we had to keep extending our stay here by “two weeks” Our experience here was far superior to any other hotel I have ever stayed at Kerri-Ann and Brenna were so friendly and welcoming and both went above and beyond! They even mailed us a congratulations on our new home card! We tried every hotel in the Salt Lake area while we looked at houses and this was the best hotel out of all of them

It is very quiet which is my number one requirement It is clean, has everything you could need, and a delicious breakfast and fun happy hour

Rachel Matheson

Everything was great! The hot breakfast was phenomenal The room was spacious, the pool/spa was a good size, and the fitness center had a lot of options The young woman at the front desk was very helpful and kind

Only 2 things were not perfect, the bathroom sink did not drain well and the bed was less than adequate The bed was pretty uncomfortable That being said, I would stay here again

M M

We were extremely happy with our stay The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was outstanding, & the staff was very friendly I used the guest laundry – it was $1

50 to wash & $150 to dry I like to pack light, so being able to do the laundry when traveling with kids really helps cut down on the amount of things we have to pack So convenient!I wasn’t enthused there is a daily parking fee, but it was reasonable-$1000 a night Seemed unnecessary though It’s not like there was limited parking available like there is in big cities like Chicago & New York 🤔

Worst Hampton Inn experienceHad requested a room on the main floor in our reservation Not available

Room stunk – window was left open Window was so dirty (picture attached)Fridge didn’t workAC would turn on intermittently even when it was turned off manuallyIce machine was out of serviceNo hot water in the sink or shower ( evening when we arrived or next morning)Breakfast selection was terribleTried communicating with a manager – none on site (Hilton website – is not conducive to making a complaint Although we have received surveys in the past from our stays @ Hampton Inns – nothing was forthcoming this time)Although we have stayed at this location in the past – this was definitely a disappointment

Steve Garvin

Worst customer service EVER! The hotel general manager, or “top dog” (as he called himself) just hung up on me when I called to get the regional manager’s number to address my issue of leaving items in my hotel room closet, totally my fault I called to have them check the closet, the manager said nothing was found, you can call back tomorrow…no offer to take my name and number When I called a second time to get the regional’s number, I was told “Sir, you just misplaced your stuff” (I always misplace my suit for my sons wedding, a coat, two shirts and tie!)

He raised his voice as he assured me that all rooms and closets are thoroughly check after each customer…I said I know they don’t because my son and his family stayed in another room and had “used” bathroom towels piled up in their closet “Sir, you are questioning the integrity of my staff!” No, I replied, I just want the closet checked in room 211 “I am sure you just misplaced your items sir” I didn’t want to argue so I just asked again for the regional managers phone number…”we don’t give that out, there’s no way I am giving that to you…you would have to call corporate Okay, can I have that number? You can find it online…click He hung up on me…unbelievable! I wasn’t even going to complain to him about how his desk clerk the night we checked in could not figure out how to process an online reservation combined with an added night that we booked I did mention to the GM as a courtesy when we did check out that they needed to fix the faucet in our room…oh yea, those faucets are a horrible design he said, they spin and leak water all over the counter Exactly, I said…it’s a known issue, he replied Breakfast food and service was great, location is great, the leader of this hotel not Great at all, except in his mind You just lost a customer and actually made a very easy situation to address a BIG issue, because he didn’t know how to simply listen to a customer, address the concern without sarcasm, and find a resolution Now, I will voice my experience to everyone I know… family, fellow business travelers, etc I will now use this as a story in my business and training meetings across 5 surrounding states, including UT, of how NOT to solve a customer need/request Yes, Top Dog, you will be famous for this horrible interaction and how your condescending attitude has now made you a legend for the wrong reason I will insure that I do get to speak with your regional manager and let that person know what a poor GM they have hired and how that person has damaged the reputation of Hampton Inn! NOT a Top Dog in any sense of the word!

My friend and I enjoyed our stay overall The room was dated but seemed clean enough When I needed more towels it was a challenge to communicate with the housekeepers

Milly in the kitchen helped me with the towels Her breakfast was also very well done, tasted good and well presented She was very dedicated to also cleaning the breakfast area

Karson Nelson

It was a pretty decent stay They could not find our reservation and so they put us in what I assume is their worst room (1 queen sized bed and no microwave) the night manager when we stayed was not friendly (neither was he rude) he was just indifferent The pool and hot tub were great

The breakfast was pretty good as well with many different options and no limit to how much you could get

Sarah Herr

Walking into the lobby, I noticed sparkling clean floors and nicely decorated Our room didn’t disappoint either-extremely clean and well maintained The staff was friendly and professional

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and professional The breakfast was hot, fresh and well stocked Definitely will stay here again when visiting Salt Lake!

This is a pretty nice hotel located right in the middle of downtown Provo I stayed here for a conference in the convention center right across the street The location made it easy to get back and forth to/from the conference

The staff is very friendly and the rooms were pretty clean I had a lot of space in my room which had two beds and a large couch The room also had a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, a microwave, and a sink The beds and pillows were pretty comfortable I was fortunate to have a room at the end of the hallway in the top floor in the south tower of the hotel which was nice and quiet and offered some decent views outside There was a nice little terrace down on the second floor where you could walk out and enjoy the weather

Jerry Kokesh

Excellent hotel in downtown Provo; modern large rooms Mountain view rooms make it easy to forget that you are in a metropolitan area Pretty standard but nice Marriott breakfast buffet

Really nice lobby area with lots of nice seating areas for a chat or just to relax a bit Free indoor parking a big plus Not a surprise but courteous, helpful staff Highly recommended!

Jennifer Jensen

Stayed overnight while attending a conference here Room was very nice The bed was more comfortable than other places I’ve stayed

Great air conditioning, good wifi, free parking, very clean All the staff we interacted with were very polite and helpfulThe only drawback to the stay was that breakfast was very expensive They have an on-site Cafe, but the prices were quite a bit higher than I felt was reasonable $11 for a small bowl of oatmeal and slice of toast Service was on the slow side, too We finally went to pay at the register because we couldn’t wait any longer for the checkThe conference rooms were nice, but the presenters did have several issues with the microphones The staff were quick to help, but issues cropped up both days

Came for a corporate retreat event but extended our stay to be able to enjoy it longer Perfect mountain retreat Our cabin view was spectacular

The ski conditions were better than I would have thought considering there hadn’t been any snow in 6+ weeks Was expecting icy, but they do a good job grooming what they have We didn’t see them making any new snow all week yet coverage was not bad Would definitely return for another relaxing stay

Nicole Parish

Another excellent brunch and overall experience with the Sundance team We attended Easter Brunch, the afternoon session, and found it to be as great an experience as when we attended in the morning several years ago The food was excellent, with plenty of availability of everything

The team was fantastic as well, going above and beyond on a busy day to make sure we had a great experience Favorites this year were the prime rib and the brioche French bread Overall, I’d highly recommend and say that you can’t hit this brunch at a bad time

Meghan Burgan

Beyond excellent, it’s an exceptional property We had a studio room I never wanted to leave Adorable balcony with gorgeous tree views, fireplace, super comfy bed and pillows, perfect size for my husband and I

Staff was filled with smiles, great conversation, helpful with recommendations, everyone we encountered was top notch!Every single bar or restaurant was the BEST, especially The Foundry for dinner Definitely make reservations before you arriveWe didn’t have time to ski but I can’t wait to go back and check out the slopes

We stayed one night Very clean room on the second floor It’s a new building so everything is in great condition

Check in was easy and fast My kids enjoyed the pool and complimentary breakfast Some options were cereal, oatmeal, pastries, eggs and sausage The only issue I had was having to pay for parking , $7/day There was nothing special about parking, not even covered/gated parking

Ariana Mas

Taylor and Lane are spectacular! They truly are the definition of customer care and what every front desk staff should strive to be I had a small issue but they were so helpful and put me at ease that all would be ok and it was thanks to their assistance One of the supervisor ladies was not so helpful or friendly

Probably one of those promotions for the amount of time with the company not based on merit because she acts like she does not have to do anything for anyone I’m just happy I did not have to deal with her much Overall my stay was wonderful I only had to deal with supervisor grumpy pants when I was leaving but it was very unprofessional of her to yell at my daughter Noone should ever yell at a child especially if he/she are not their ownBreakfast was great except for the last day the oven blew up so they did not have hot breakfast but the kitchen staff were so sweet and loaded us up on fruit and yogurtIf you are one of those who prefer a hotel within walking distance to a store or shops this is not it but it’s a short drive like 5 minutes to a 711 Rooms are beautiful spacious and modern Cleaning staff are generous with towels and kitchen supplies I was very happy wish I could have stayed longer Thank you Lane and Taylor!

Christine Myers

Might want to clean the vents in bathroom once in awhile They charge for parking

why??? I understand downtown hotels where parking is limited but here I don’t understand I was taking a shower and discovered the conditioner bottle was empty If you are a woman you understand how annoying it is not to be able to condition my hair The bottles are locked to the shower wall so I couldn’t even tip it upside down to get any little amount Mattress are not comfortable Breakfast was disappointing So at 7:15am breakfast items not being warm doesn’t make sense I understand at 9:50am why they might have gone coldThe positives are that the room was really large and it has a good kitchen

This is one of my absolute favorite bed and breakfasts The rooms are unique and beautiful with lovely decorations and furniture The baths are big and the beds are comfy

And the breakfast is scrumptious! We had the lemon ricotta pancakes with a berry spread and sausage on the side So delicious! If you like a classy, quiet bed and breakfast atmosphere, you will LOVE The Hines Mansion

Tiana Alexandria

This BnB is so lovely The decor is beautiful and well thought out We enjoyed listening about the history of the building and pieces inside

They were very, very accommodating despite the mistakes I made while booking (sorry again!) I felt at ease while in the mansion and even more relaxed in our room We stayed in the Library and the Kitty Hines Both were spectacular and it was such fun experiencing both styles Breakfast was delicious and they were mindful of an allergy in our party I will admit that hotel cost factors greatly into my decision when booking lodging, but I we will most definitely be staying at the Hines Mansion again My only regret is not staying here our first two nights in Provo They have popcorn, cookies, water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a great collection of movies all ready for your stay We can’t wait to come back!

We spent a night in the Eagle’s Nest for our anniversary Everything about the Hines Mansion is awesome They were so helpful and friendly

Since it’s an old house, i was worried about it feeling dirty, but everything was very clean This place has the homey feel with all the extras plus all the things you would get in a nice hotel Even though eating breakfast with strangers is something that isn’t top on our list, it turned out to be so fun! We really enjoyed chatting and found some weird connections between all of us I highly recommend this place It was much better than staying in a hotel Thank you for everything!(Ashley, I found my necklace! But got a new phone so I lost your number 😊)

The quality staff really make the difference in this hotel Yes, the rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean Yes, the food is the quality you’d expect out of Hilton

But, the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable Everyone from the shuttle drivers to the desk staff are friendly and definitely exceeds expectations My only detracting comment is that the pool is super small and very noisy if multiple people are in there Still an enjoyable experience though

Steff Gorden

I would stay here again! Although it was pricey for a couple of stays it was worth it The staff took great care of me Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were a warm and welcoming stay

Rebecca in housekeeping was so sweet and after I asked her to clean my room she didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond what I asked The front desk was friendly and welcomed me with warm smiles This hotel does an amazing job!

ross langhans

Absolutely super nice people! I left a bag by the front door, and only realized it when I was a couple hundred miles from there They made sure my bag was taken care of, and had it sent to me back in Minnesota Of course I had to pay the shipping, but how great it is that the management there would go out of their way to get my bag back

On top of that, it really is a beautiful property!Thank You!!

Excellent location with very polite & helpful employees There’s a workout room, pool, and a good assortment of hot & cold food offerings at the free breakfast buffet Just be sure to arrive early since the food goes quickly

The bed was comfortable and we loved the separate rooms for the shower and toilet The only downside is that the parking lot is shared with another hotel and it’s very difficult to find a place to park, especially after dark

Trisha Kaiser

Normally I love staying at a Springhill Suites, this place was the exception Upon my arrival I had to wait over an hour for a room I was told by the girl at the front desk the room was probably ready but the housekeeping staff wasn’t answering her

When I got checked into the room I realized the toilet was not working I called the front desk staff and she said they didn’t have maintenance staff available, and they had no rooms to switch me She recommended holding down the flush for 30 seconds I tried that and everything I could think of and the toilet still didn’t work Called back to the front desk and she said she would have to call her manager Finally got switched to another room This room the AC was not functioning, only the fan I found a bug in the bathroom, and the shower area was in desperate need of some deep cleaning I also attended an event at the conference rooms, those chairs were terribly stained All in all, not up to Marriott standards

Ron Johnston

Room was dirty Had to wet a towel to wipe 5 different stains off couch and brush off food that was laying on seat of couch Floor on front of TV had so much junk on it I could move it out of the way with my foot

Sink was basically plugged in bathroom Heat/Cool unit sounded like a train every time it kicked in at might Hotel was sold out apparently so no possibility of getting a different roomI could go on with many examples but maintenance was very poor and room was old and tired I feel totally overcharged for what I received Only good thing about the entire experience was the young lady who checked us in She was professional, pleasant well groomed and helpfulI expected a lot better because of previous experience with other Springhill Suites and Mariott properties

Pretty good stay, although the breakfast was fairly mediocre There was no peanut butter and the chocolate milk was all gone by the time my youngest got to the fridge The cinnamon rolls were all gone and the “oven was broken” sign was posted above the hot food items

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The fridge was cold and the room temperature was very nice (especially since it was 100 degrees outside) The front desk lady was really sweet and got me the extra bedding for the sofa sleeper within 3 minutes so she was very responsive and friendly I would stay there again

Dave Houston

The hotel was clean but is in need of a face lift My room was in the NW corner, closest to the freeway The noise from freeway traffic was extremely loud

By 5:30 sleep time was over The pool area needs some deep cleaning The breakfast was pretty good The second morning’s breakfast looked very appealing but I couldn’t partake Biscuits and gravel, pancakes, etc Had it not been for the rooms location in proximity to the freeway I would have rated it 8/10

StandingTall 710

Ryan has the Hot tub working top notchThe outside of the building and the property around it was in good order, clean, and trimmed neatly

This appears to be a whole new Hotel since the last time I visitedI will definitely be recommending this Location to many of my associates and Co-workersI don’t know where they found her but they really should clone Becky She was all smiles and super helpful, friendly, and professionalThank you

The rooms are beautiful and have a full kitchen I love the unique layout and was thrilled with the service and the friendliness of the staff The place of just off the freeway in Provo

It is a great Provo location, if that is your destination A bit far from the airport though The need was comfortable and I slept well, which is more then I can say for most places I have stayed at Definitely worth the price and drive

Beautiful stay Big friendly entrance Cheerful staff

Rooms are clean, large with everything you would need traveling Guest laundry was clean and equipped with top of the line units Very impressed $4 to wash a load of clothes Thank youBreakfast was wonderful Pleasant surroundings, staff Incredibly professional Good selection Location is perfect, close to any commercial business you desired Great stay Thank you

Heather Drake

The hotel looks great which is why I give it two stars instead of one I booked this place based off of reviews and proximity to I15, but should’ve gone with one of our trusted usual spots After finding dirty underwear in the pullout sofa and reporting it, the staff seemed very lax about it

Then the bedding was covered in hairs and crumbs… I absolutely would not recommend

The breakfast was good but came cold when we requested it at a later time, so I’d recommend getting it around 8 Although the suite was pretty cool, it had some things that needed fixing It took more than usual for both the bathroom sink and the shower to drain The toilet room was covered with a panel instead of a door We didn’t mind but we did notice the panel was a little difficult to fold Overall we had a good experience and would stay here again to try a different suite

Our stay here was terrific! Each room is quite unique so my review only reflects staying in the Tahiti room The location is a little weird to find but when we arrived I was happy with being able to just key in the code and get straight into our room – no check in process whatsoever I really liked the theming of the room with real sand and the floor fish tank being nice touches

Bed was surprisingly comfortable (but the frame really needed some WD-40, so squeaky!) The breakfast was good and they were flexible on when to bring it The complementary snacks and movies in the hallway were nice as well This is specific to the Tahiti room but I didn’t realize there was no standing shower, just the tub and a short shower head wand It wasn’t really a problem but if we stayed for more than one night it would be a bit of a painOverall though, we had a wonderful time and will be back

My wife surprised me with a weekend getaway at 5th East Hall – Bed & Breakfast It was a ton of fun going into the Tahiti themed room and spending the evening thereWhat we enjoyed about the place:- We loved the theme and how they tied it into everything found within the room

Because of the Tahitian theme, there was actual sand in our room near the large tub- There were complementary snacks and a complementary breakfast, as long as we requested it which wasn’t bad- They had a small DVD selection that you could take a movie from to watch in your roomThe reason for taking off a star:- The bed The frame for it was beautiful and fit right into the theme It squeaked like no one’s business You move slightly and it would make a loud squeak Enjoying each other’s company made for a stressful time when our room was right next to the front desk Even sleeping in the bed was rough Didn’t get a restful night due to it making constant noisesWonderful place that we will visit again! Would recommend

Home 2 is a great hotel I highly recommend them One of the things we’ve loved is their amazing breakfasts that are included

We were sorely disappointed with the offering here It may be due to Covid19 changes Most hotels just do a grab bag now days so it wasn’t just that at least, but the offerings were very poor compared to what I’ve experienced at every other Home 2 I’ve stayed at The pool towels were not stocked The room was clean so comfortable with great amenities Even though it wasn’t the best Home 2 we’ve stayed at I would still come again and still highly recommend them

The breakfast was honestly the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at any Hilton, Marriott, or IHG property The egg bowl was absolutely disgusting, I noticed a couple other guest who threw out the bowl as well being as it was one of the very few options being served that morning Very disappointing

Also I accidentally left a birthday card for my wife in the room along with a gift card inside the envelope, did they find it? Of course not The room is your standard Home 2 Suites, only issue was the breakfast Honestly I find it very hard to say I will be back to this exact property because of this It was that bad

Sitting right across the road from traverse mountain outlets and strap tank brewery this has been one of the best hotels I gave stayed at in a while Staff was very helpful and friendly We had a small issue that maintenance came and fixed, he even asked if he wanted him to come back later or fix now so he wasn’t in our way

They have a pool, gym, conference rooms, free breakfast not just bagels and toast but eggs, potatoes, cereal, lots more The only complaint I have is the bed in our room was stiff, everyone else slept fine I would stay here again even if I had to drive 30+ minutes to get where I was going Great Job!!!

Horrible the only hotel I’ve stayed at that actively felt like they were looking for ways to rip you off1) their page on Hotels

com says “pet-friendly” my wife called to confirm that before check-in during check-in, the clerk noted the cat as she began checking my family in until a manager happened to walk by he saw the cat and said, “We don’t accept cats” after an hour of arguing, he finally let my family check in, which led to…2) sudden inexplicable mystery fees! on day two, the front desk called and said they forgot to charge us the cat deposit how odd that the cat was discussed with the manager for over an hour the day prior and not once did the manager mention this deposit it seems like a contradictory business practice, to charge a fee for something that you don’t allow in the building at all forgive me for thinking that the more likely explanation is that the management experienced a sudden bout of vindictiveness which is further evidenced by…3) the missing thousand dollars! we check this morning, expecting to find that the hotel returned the pet deposit to us they had not in fact, they helped themselves to another $1,000 and change oddly enough, the exact cost of our stay, times twothe front desk clerk initially said the first one was an authorization charge after we explained that, no, you don’t make an authorization charge by taking the cost of the stay and multiplying it by two, she shifted gears to, “it was an accident”imagine if the rest of us could use that excuse when we take a thousand dollars that doesn’t belong to us “oopsie daisy!,” you say to your employer “i didn’t mean to take my paycheck twice! accident!”if you HAVE to stay with this amateur hour operation, get an itemized receipt don’t let them rob you too
