I traveled solo by car If you need to park there is a lot basically across the street towards the beach He charged me $10/day

Not bad at all Do not park at Dunkin’ At the hostel door I rang the doorbell and was greeted by a very friendly hostess that clearly cares about the place a lot She spends time putting her artistic touch on the decor and caring for the upkeep I luckily had a room to myself for my two day stay over the weekend Plenty of privacy There are 25 bathrooms Never had a problem getting one For the price it is absolutely worth it

Great place to stay The employee who runs the place is a very friendly lady It’s an easy way to meet new people and have a nice cheap place to hang out in the middle of everything

It may seem weird for people who have never been to a hostle, which I had never been to one before either but I quite enjoyed my experience here Guest sometimes aren’t friendly but not everyone is The place is very secure and welcoming

MyFoodie Travels

The Hostel is nice but nothing compared to the wonderful Manager Susan who is the sweetest host I’ve ever had I stayed here with a friend who had never stayed in a hostel because Atlantic City was so ridiculously expensive during Memorial Weekend and we had no choice but to bunk in a hostel Susan went above n beyond to make us feel welcome and safe

My friend now wants to return and the next time actually is choosing to stay at a hostel thanks to Susan’s hospitality

I debated on whether I should give this hotel 3 or 4 stars It’s not a 4 star hotel but should be given credit for its cleanliness (which is a big deal to me) and how comfortable the bed was I got some great sleep in their king size bed

I also appreciated having the fridge and microwave The free breakfast in the morning leaves A LOT to be desired They gave a lot of options but the best thing there is the juice I also was annoyed that i requested clean wash cloths and towels and never got them because they were in the wash This hotel is very basic But it’s clean and close to Atlantic City so I would stay again

Karen Van Daniker

The check in process took a while, we were in line for 40 min, but I understand considering there were 3 wedding blocks at the hotel Only one of the 2 rooms we reserved were ready, despite checking in and choosing rooms through the app ahead of time Not a big deal; only needed 1 room for all of us to get ready

Very long story short, my second room I reserved was given to someone else and I didn’t know it I didn’t go to physically check into the other room until after 11pm, but I had requested a digital key and all that on the app ahead of time I was given a 2 queen room instead of a king Wasn’t ideal but I said fine, it’s late Get upstairs, mind you I have a 4 month old with me, and the room wasn’t made nor cleaned An apology wasn’t given until at least 1/2 an hour after I told the front desk I was told they were going to try and figure something out because they were sold out The manager never came to speak to me nor contact me Nobody told us what was going on until 45 min of us waiting in the lobby The masher did give us a discount on one of our rooms, so I do appreciate that But I would not stay here again

Chandra Matthews

Check in was smooth and even allowed early check in as there was a room available We rushed out to get to our destination after dropping our bags off When we got back around 11:45pm we noticed roaches

Roaches in the room inside the fridge and in the bathroom We went to the front desk to tell them and they moved us to another room I don’t as traveling with my husband, and our kids (4) ages 3months to 14 They moved us from a one bedroom suit to a standard 2 queen room Once going back down again Ben told us there was nothing he can do and refunded us our money We had paid for 2 nights Remember this all started at 1145pm So at 1230am my husband and I called around trying to find another hotel but everything was upwards of 400 a night as there were several events in town this weekend We ended up having to drive back home to Washington DC at 1245am Very disappointed in this hotel

She BARES it All

The bed was so comfortable and the ambiance was magnificent, when we first arrived I wasn’t sure about it but the staff (the owner) and Renee were nice and friendly They helped us with our bags and you will need help if you bring a lot of bags because there are steps and lots of them We stayed in the penthouse (3rd floor) and it was beautiful, nice, and cool and the refrigerator kept everything super cold

Breakfast was nice, you serve yourself and it was plenty Beautiful all around you at this bed and breakfast I will be booking again

Adam Vac

My new favorite place to stay in AC It’s an old (remodeled) boutique hotel conveniently 1 block from the boardwalk No slots or gaming, but literally across the street from the Tropicana, if that’s your thing

The room was large, clean and comfortable Ate at the pub too and the food was very good Every single staff member (from the hotel to the pub) were so incredibly nice and accommodating Anytime I stay in AC from here out, the Chelsea will be the first place I check for availability Wonderful stay!

Chris Reyes

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a quiet and safe place to stay near the boardwalk

comfy beds, cute and cozy place where you can hang out all day if you want They have a pub that’s open til 3am which serves GREAT inexpensive food and drinks Walking distance to tropicana and boardwalk Easy access to Jitney stops Will definitely repeat and come back!

They were like Angels that swooped in to save us! We had a terrible experience at another hotel and came barreling in needing five rooms Not only did they show us the rooms beforehand to make sure we felt comfortable, but they were polite, professional and so incredibly understanding AMAZING staff that is genuinely happy to work here and tell you about the property

ThisPlace holds a lot of history but is very well kept, updated and maintained You can tell the staff takes pride in working and caring for it and we are all just SO thankful we got to come hereBeautiful indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant and a grill Outdoor bar Clean rooms Super comfy beds Everything you need Will 100% stay here from now on when we come to Jersey! We can’t say enough about it!

Javier Robles

Okay this is a beautiful hotel Wow, this place remind me of one of those ’80s movies, where everyone wears eyes out shirts with the collar up Lots of weddings

It has its own huge golf course and very cool indoor and outdoor pools I did not see a pool list in either one so if you’re on a wheelchair don’t think you’re going to be getting into the pool The rooms are super tiny, the accessible room which they gave us was a double bedroom and it was super difficult for a wheelchair to get around So much so, that we ended up getting a regular room just to get a little bit of extra space Also, Galloway New Jersey is a beautiful place but not near Northern or Central Jersey Definitely closer to Atlantic City, about half an hour away Other than that really nice place

Karin Persson

This is a REALLY nice hotel/resort for a family Quiet nice location Close to many nice places to visit

Smithsville is my favorite, kids love ocean city We were put in a larger version of the Doyle queen which had much space for two adults and three kids with a crib for the youngest Two really beautiful pools Golf course seems very nice but we didn’t try We did not try the restaurants either, had good breakfasts and dinners in nearby locations The complete building is very nice and fresh I had read some review saying the general spaces were in need of maintenance, but I did not see anything of that, and I am quite a picky person Laundry facility at the hotel was out of order, but they had some service that we did not try Can highly recommend this place!! Hope to be back some time, but now we go back to Norway

Christina Abbott

Unbelievably disappointing We have stayed at this property many, many times while visiting family in the area since it opened I called ahead of arrival to request linens for the sofa bed of the two bedroom suite we booked

Upon arrival, no linens and curt front desk employee who told me I had to come to the lobby for the items because he was the only one there Fine Arrived and there are no pillows (“we’ve been short of pillows for months”) and one very thin fancy sheet, no blanket Determined to make the best I return to our room One bathroom has two towels The second bathroom (again we have a two bedroom suite) has no towels whatsoever Absurd! A room that is billed for five people (and we paid prettily for it) has two bath towels and we were told upon arrival no service for seven days And let’s not even begin to discuss the sofa bed “mattress” We always gave little expectation for such things but this is truly only springs There is no cushioning whatsoever These gold elite members are incredibly disappointed in a property we once recommended wholeheartedly Marriott, you should be ashamed of the terrible arrival to our room we have experienced

Joshua Dalama

This hotel has all the intention to be great but the efforts is not up to Marriott’s standards coming from someone who is one tier away from becoming an Ambassador Elite The breakfast is barely ever stocked just 45 to an hour after opening, my bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly, I notified the front desk the day of check in that the shower was not clean and nothing has been done, and housekeeping does not clean the room to the fullest; they’ll forget to do something may it be restocking the paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning the dishes from the sink THE FLOOR IS NEVER VACCUUMED! The staff however are very nice people, it’s just being the status I am and loyalty with Marriott, this is not up to their standards

Neasie Gist

Each time I visited we had issues During check in we requested a higher floor the front desk clerk stated that there wasn’t anything available We checked into a room and my allergies went wild

The room had a stench of mold and dog Went to the front desk and fortunately the manager was there We explained what we requested in front of the same desk clerk and the manager stated we are a pet friendly hotel I said I have allergies and that room will not work for me The manager then ask the desk clerk to put us in another room I was puzzled because of what same desk clerk told us about 20 minutes prior Our stay and the room we were finally assigned was much better and had a better smell on a higher floor

I always have a great time at Tropicana It’s always clean Despite the pandemic, it was a nice crowd

The new room reservations were nice They have a nice selection of eateries and restaurants It was nice to see everyone cleaning on the casino floor My only issue was with the party next door making a lot of noise at 3:30am but the hotel was very accommodating I will definitely be back to visit

kam kohli

The stay itself was great Location is awesome, right on boardwalk and 24 hrs casino and food service with bar Express Check-in and check-out process was fabulous, you don’t have to wait for anyone and they charge a minimum amount of parking for the whole stay (super cool)

The only thing which I didn’t like was the bed (mattress), very uncomfortablecouldn’t able to sleep Hotel needs to fix the bedding system (bed and pillows) Rest all was Fab 🙂 100% recommended

Adam Schupak

Overall, for Atlantic City standards, this hotel is pretty good Clean, soft beds, and nice views (If you’re in the west tower and on floor 38 or higher)! The shower in our room didn’t have hot water The hottest the water got was lukewarm, and to get the faucet in the bathroom to run, we had to pull very hard on it to flow

Besides the rooms (which smelled nice), most of the hotel, and casino on the bottom floor, smelled overwhelmingly like cigarettes and tobacco Even in the hallway on our floor (floor 43), it smelled like it The gym in the hotel is great along with the selection of restaurants in the “quarter” Most of the restaurants, however, are mostly full most nights so make sure to make a reservation at them before hand! Other then that, this is a great hotel!

I have stayed at every casino in Atlantic City but Caesar’s is by far the best I stayed in the centurion tower this past week The room was super clean and had every modern feature you could think of

Phone chargers were everywhere Every detail was clearly thought out when these rooms were designed The lighting button by the headboard was a great feature The shower with a handheld option was perfection The bedding was by far my favorite I have been searching Google for the past 30 minutes just to find out what kind of linens were on these beds I was so comfortable and cool and felt like I was sleeping on a cloud I had an awesome time and will definitely be staying again This was one of the best hotels rooms I have ever stayed in I don’t write many reviews but I felt compelled to Now please tel me where I can get your duvet

Cynthia Greene

Spur of the moment getaway with the family Suggestions or things I will remember to bring my players card with me so I can earn rewards on my hotel stay Overall, it was nice

There was a fee for late checkout and it was an increased rate due to a concert It would have been nice if the fee wasn’t charged since I didn’t check in until 3am and checkout was 11 am but America

William Slowenski

Stayed here recently with my wife Hotel was beautiful and the bed was comfortable The casino is great other then the drink system on the slots

Why make customers wait twenty minutes between drink orders? Especially if you just want to order something non alcoholic like a soda or a water It doesn’t make any sense I like the casino but I would rather be at Hard rock where I can order something whenever I want It’s too bad because Caesars would be my favorite otherwise

Front desk staff very pleasant Price reasonable Check in and out was fast

Room we stayed in is clean, roomy, homey, comfortable I do wish they have black out curtains, especially if your on the first floor The visitors from the inn across the street could see you through the thin curtain And if you want to sleep in you can’t because its too bright But all in all it was a decent place to stay

S Mack

Suite was a great price and better than expected The staff was nice and they were attentive Check in and check out we’re a breeze

The hold fee was very minimal compared to many hotels Cable was good and the hotel was quiet despite being almost completely booked The cleaning staff were constantly cleaning the facility which was great to see especially since we stayed during a time when Covid was pretty rampant Close to pretty much everything Highly recommend this place if you are looking to be near AC but not into the havoc of staying at a casino hotel

Jennifer Frailey-Custer

Room was fine, roomy and pretty comfortable and clean, but the service was horrendous (Except housekeeping they were great)First, the pool was opened limited hours The lights never came on, so kinda creepy

The hot tub has no heat Nowhere is this stated We put of feet in and it was ice cold Colder than the pool which was chilly but not unreasonable for a hotel pool However another client was unhappy with it and got into it with the manager on duty, at the pool with myself and child present The manager proceeded to get into a yelling match with the client, tried to get me involved and I left with my child as we felt unsafe The continued to have this lovely screaming match into the front deskBreakfast – don’t count on it It’s grab and go style Limited and kinda icky Stale bagel and apple slices that were slimy No drinks No coffee Just a bag Didn’t seem to care I had allergies to applesParking – too many cars they ended up on the grass Didn’t take any info on cars at check-inAlso it was extremely loud both nights we were here Loud talking, music, people in the hallways Complaints did nothing

This is honestly the best place I’ve ever stayed at, and it’s amazing for all ages! I’m only 22, and my boyfriend and I have stayed here twice Both times were just perfect! The breakfasts were delicious and a lot of their ingredients come fresh from their garden! (Homemade salsa, mint in water, etc)

The most recent time that we stayed, they made homemade banana bread It was DELICIOUS They provide so much and have the most amazing service A review could not do this place justice The house itself has such class along with the property It is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms are so stunning I highly recommend the romance package— the chocolate covered strawberries were delicious This place is seriously amazing 10,000,000,000,000/10

I planned a small overnight getaway for my gal recently I wanted to treat her, and have an experience beyond the bog standard hotel stay I didn’t know what to expect beyond the fact that the rooms themselves looked beautiful

From the moment I entered to check in, until we left, everything was perfect The staff were gracious, and accommodating Their knowledge and pride of the history of the house was evident, and I appreciated them sharing the details of the house itself The room was gorgeous, and the breakfast was wonderful We left that morning happy and contentMy only concern is that they have spoiled me! The idea of spending money for something that will be less personal or pleasant seems unthinkableMinutes away, there are plenty of places to explore, bright and loud, or quiet and contemplative A little oasis full of charm, on your way to whereveror just a cool little respite from the day to day Worth every penny!

Ashley LeFevre-Dunne

The entire experience was excellent We wanted to stay in Smithville, but they didn’t have any openings We were referred to the Pitney house

I honestly would rather come back here each and every time The rooms were quaint – I never heard my neighbors (big plus!) The staff was friendly, and the food was wonderful I was surprised the food was by order I’ve stayed at a few bed and breakfasts and nothing was cooked to order The other thing I loved was that the main house was accessible all day and night via a pin code They stocked the house with snacks, coffee, tea, waters, etc the main lobbies are beautiful and antique like I sat by the fireplace and just relaxed I highly recommend this place I am so thrilled I found it

Mom Cris of The PM Family

We stayed last week of July 2022 Clean and updated hotel Love the shower! Buffet breakfast is great and well stocked

There’s 1 big pool and 1 jacuzzi Location is great and about 15 minutes to AC Only reason we’re giving it 4-star is because of the following reasons: (1) staff at the Reception (Justin) seemed to us like he didn’t want to be there working that day or what not Lacked the energy and smile that a customer/guest would expect from a staff working at the front desk (2) their website stated indoor pool is heated but it wasn’t – water was cold We called and staff was nice stating someone will come to fix but we stayed for almost an hour and nobody came (3) toilet flush handle is loose always needed to be re-aligned See photos attachedOverall, still a good stay for us and will still recommend

Robin Boyle

Tony checked us in he was very welcoming and helpful Room is very clean and comfortable We went to dinner after checking in and upon returning found that the A/C was not working

Reported to the front desk and Tony came to the room to reset the A/C When that did not work he called Justin the Night Manager who came to the room and tried multiple things none of which worked At that point he decided to replace the entire unit This was at approximately 11pm Within 20 minutes he replaced the unit and it was working well This is above and beyond any experience we have had at any other hotel Justin and Tony set the example of what true customer service should be Kudos to both of them and because of them we will return here the next time we come come to NJ This hotel will get our highest recommendation

Eileen L. – God’s Servant

I stay at Holiday Inn & Express hotels often, however this was my very first visit here on 3/13/22 I had a wonderful stay!! My sister & I were greeted in a very sincere & friendly way by, not just one, but two men(Justin & Tony?) when we checked in We were given the room we requested(on the first floor); it was clean & comfortable with a great view of the pool! The atmosphere is peaceful & the staff is very pleasant & professional

The breakfast buffet was great! – it was tasty & well stocked & even included potatoes! I love the hotel’s location – it was a short distance from the AC boardwalk I definitely recommend this hotel & I will stay here again

John Mattingly

Very expensive (8/22) Room wasn’t bad Nice but not luxurious as advertised

Water Club’s inside and outside pools are nice and definitely fancy When you enter from the parking garage you find to check in so you think that’s where you’re supposed to go BIG mistake The Water Club has its own check in with much much smaller lines City view rooms are nice but make sure you pull the curtains when you go to bed because you get very bright morning sun Parking seems free but you have to pay on the way out A little deceiving but cheap ($5)

The shower was a bit weird to turn on, you had to get in the showers and turn it on and get that cold water on you! The bathroom floor would get extremely wet The setting on the shower head were extremely power and cover the whole area so when you opened the shower door the floor would get wet! Besides that the hotel is great, less than 20 minutes form AC! We will stay there again! We didn’t try their breakfast!

Not a fan of this hotel Used my award night here for a convention visit The AC was very loud when firing up several times in the night cycling through

Could not sleep The person at the front desk knew this and said they were working on units throughout the hotel as an ongoing issue Why would you put someone in a room that needs maintenance for loud sounds? I rarely complain to be honest and usually reward positive experiences over negative feedback but this sounded like a diesel truck being started several times throughout the night Kinda feel that I should have been offered my award night back

Nice clean place and more modern 4 stars for me, but rhe staff was so friendly and courteous they earn this place an extra star Decent workout room with a lot of treadmills, good breakfast in the morning as well

Only gripe I have is that the shower door is on the wrong side and you have to get in to turn on the shower, which means you basically deal with cold then hot water Other than that nice place Stayed on a Friday and it was extremely cheap

This place is WONDERFUL 👍🥰👍 Their rooms are beautiful and CLEAN, well stocked and put together with customers in mind 👍👏👍👏👍👏 I’m talking down to providing toothbrushes & toothpaste❣ We checked out and ended up checking back in the same day, NO PROBLEM And we asked for a ground floor room, they arranged things to accommodate US This kind of customer service is RARE

Come HERE if you want to be treated GREAT 👍 👍👍 SO thankful to have found them on Hotelscom, our 2 previous attempts to find a decent affordable place yielded major issues UGH THIS place MORE THAN MADE UP FOR IT & WE ARE GRATEFUL❣❣❣
