Very friendly hotel staff, pet friendly, nice rooms but not a true suite The kitchenette in the room is functional, nice full-size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher There’s a nice cabinet in the lobby with additional kitchen appliances

They have a large outdoor patio with gas grills and picnic tables Free laundry room and nice sized fitness room The bed was very comfortable Over all great experience!More of a 3 star experience: the furniture in the room was not comfortable The dishes available in the room were sparse Our microwave died after one use, but we had too much stuff to switch rooms (they tried repairing but couldn’t) We made do and don’t fault them, but it did make cooking more difficult The food pantry in the lobby was a little low on variety and inventory Would love the opportunity for recycling

This is a long overdue review from February I hope the breakfast attendants are still there and get the accolades they deserve Their service was outstanding

Overall, the hotel was very nice It seemed new or recently remodeled Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed The breakfast was tasty We didn’t use the other amenities If we happen to be travelling through Elizabethtown in the future, we will definitely stay there

Ashley Radford

Our stay was wonderful Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, but what really made our experience great was the staff My son dropped his plate at breakfast and everyone was quick to make him feel like it was no big deal and that it happens to everyone

Everyone was so kind and welcoming I would definitely recommend to anyone who comes to Elizabethtown

R Harrison

This was a business/family trip Passing through for the night This was a great place to stay! All of the staff besides the night desk clerk were amazing! The night clerk just seemed like she hated her job, very dry

maybe she was just having a bad day Everything else was great! I recommend this place to anyone that is in Elizabethtown Thanks for the hospitality and clean room!!

First off, this is the most expensive Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in The staff were friendly and helpful and the public spaces are fine My room however was quite dated and to be honest, pretty filthy

The tub appeared to be used as a potting shed and there was a thick layer of dust on most of the fixtures Would not stay here again

EuroTraveler

This is one of the nastiest hotels I’ve walked into! Despite being told my room was just cleaned, there were soap stains and actual spider webs in the shower! Mold in the AC, I’m sure it was blowing into the air and my lungs … elevator floors and walls nasty and stained, plus the strong stench on the elevator that sticks to you! The toilet was just gross The fixtures are rusted, spacing between the doors (allowing things to crawl in), lumpy/uncomfortable mattress…It was just a horrible experience and Hilton either needs to remodel and raise the standard OR hire staff concerned enough to at least CLEAN the current property…Never Again

The stay was good The staff was friendly and helpful The campground needs some love and updating

The grass needed to be mowed The person in the area next to me had his own mower, weedeater and chainsaw The rules say you are not allowed to stay fulltime but yet there seems to be a lot of people homesteading here Having the lake and Otter Creek nearby was a bonus Some good fishing and hiking areas There is little to no phone service and no cable Perhaps the Army can get one of the Reserve engineer units to do some upgrades for their annual training time

Ken Steele

My stay here has been good due to the clean bathrooms and laundry room but the lawn maintenance is terrible We got several excuses why it’s not being cut; out of gas, no maintenance personnel the best was they can’t weed eat close to the camper

We actually saw someone cutting and ask to have our area done and they cut all spot a around us twice and still haven’t cut ours I had to clear an area around my camper so I could move around Poor management is to blame when an issue is not resolved in a timelyweeks manner The site is nice but ground work gets an “F” No internet, limited phone and TV reception as well Look for another campground

Emily Morrissey

Would love to give this place 5 stars but 3 is stretching it To start the overall RV park is decent The bath house and laundry are really nice and very clean

You have to be very cautious of falling trees, not limbs but big chunks of trees If it damages anything good luck No reimbursement there There are multiple dead trees and the MWR absolutely knows about this The trees are marked off, but they still rent out the campsite below them The electrical grid is so outdated that the breakers on the main power box keep overheating and tripping Then you have to wait for the breaker to cool off to finally reset them Not on the individual campsite pole, but on the main campground electrical box This has gone on for weeks Again the MWR knows about this Has done very little to solve the problem and continues to rent out campsites knowing this is a problem and not for warning campers about the issue Then once all the campsites are full the breaker goes again multiple times throughout the day We have stayed at this campground before It’s very clear the MWR has not maintained the RV park It has amazing potential but it’s definitely going downhill and is becoming a hazard to campers Make sure you have a really good surge protector for your camper and a generator to run your power

The staff were so friendly We stayed during a weekend that travel ball teams were flooding the place I would be surprised if they had any vacancy

Yet the walls were thick enough we weren’t disturbed It was clean and the breakfast was really good Mel, the lady that works in the buffet area, was so accommodating With all those people she still kept up Clean Comfortable beds Would recommend

Teresa Morris

AMAZING! This is a relatively new hotel Located just off the interstate Indoor, heated saltwater pool and 24 hour access to fitness center

It has a grill area, too I got a suite as we were travelling with 3 of our granddaughters and they loved it, too Very nicely appointed rooms Exceptionally clean – indoors and out Will definitely stay there again if I am ever in the area

Raven Bitchface

Nice, newer hotel

there are a couple of things needed to be mentioned that were less than what I’d expect from a hotel this nice and for what was paid At night there is only one guy on staff, and he was absolutely no help when an issue arises and there were some sports teams staying there and when we came down for breakfast majority of the food was gone Not blaming them for that, the issue I had is that management should have had adequately staffed the kitchen for in the morning knowing their hotel was fully booked

Very friendly staff and other guests provided a pleasant and comfortable stay alsoI believe this was the 5th time we have chosen this exact hotel location and I’ve never been disappointed

Mighty Rasing

Good clean rooms We got a Queen bedroom suite with 2 Queen beds and a sofa bed Perfect for our family

Very close to the interstateRoom was clean Bonus points for having a small fridge with a freezer Breakfast was also good Sausage, eggs and biscuits were made to order They also have waffles and the usual goodies

Calvin Cummings Sr.

Our room had a damp musty smell to it The bathroom faucet handle fell off, the toilet would not stop running after being flushed, the tile grouting was horrible… I could go on

The non-stop dog barking We have used this location before with much better results Not a horrible place to stay overnight, but could use attention in the aforementioned areas

Me and my husband travel with our two dogs to and from Florida couple times a year We love staying at the Holiday Inn We always know that we will get a clean room with a comfortable bed

I like the fact they have a pillow selection as well (firm and soft) Good breakfast and close to many restaurants! Staff is also very friendly and professional

James Ivine

Great location, great facilities Modern building with several dining options close Be careful when making reservations though, I had a horrible experience

The reservations are done through an outside department which the hotel will transfer you to I was told their rates were over $200 a night which was a bit out of my price range I politely declined but was kept on the line and entered into a negotiation process Much like buying a used car, I was asked what my budget was so they could try to work with meI informed them that I usually spend no more than $140 and have been an HEI member and customer for over 15yrs Suddenly a room was available for $150 if I was either government or militaryBeing both a current government worker (Firefighter/EMT) and former military I agreed to the $150 rate and was promptly sent a confirmation email that noted the new rateUpon arrival I was told the rate was actually $210 a night and that I did not qualify for the lower rate unless I was active duty military with current orders to Fort Knox This was not mentioned to me when on the phone with reservationsAfter politely declining the room I decided I would try La Quinta where I could purchase a suite for less money I was then informed I would be charged anyway because of their 24hr cancellation policy What!? Classic bait and switch Buyer beware if you are offered any discounted rateThe next night we stayed at La Quinta A cheaper hotel but equally nice

I stayed here for an extended time and would not necessarily recommend it due to the lack of drawer space and closet space Dawn at the front desk was wonderful to work with and always fun to talk with The bed and the linens were comfortable

Housekeeping came in every 4 days to clean the room and did a great job The gym had adequate treadmills but very few free weights or weights in general Swimming pool looked nice and is indoor however I did not use it

Brooke Poe

The hotel is clean and the staff is super nice and accommodating! However, the beds are horrendous, there weren’t enough pillows for our family, the lamp shades had holes in them, there were stains everywhere, and breakfast, on the weekends, isn’t served until 7am! As a baseball family, I probably would have picked a different hotel with an earlier breakfast time if I had known Again staff was awesome, but it’s clear you get what you pay for with this property

Cozy room with a comfy bed! This is first hotel ive seen with a ceiling fan and its very appreciated! Roomy bathroom is separated into the shower toilet area, the sink and mirror are outside Small kitchenette has a sink, cook top, medium sized fridge, microwave and cabinets The complimentary breakfast is tasty! Super happy with the 2 week accommodations!

I made my reservations for the Yeoman’s Hall – Historia Initially, I drove straight to Yeoman’s Hall, but discovered I had to go to Newgarden Inn to check in The Newgarden Inn front desk folks changed my reservation to the Inn

When I questioned their accuracy, the front desk clerk blamed her co-workers for the mistake & provided me with a room in the Yeoman’s – Historia Albeit, at a higher rate because it’s DV Quarters It sort of felt like a bait & switch, however, the Yeoman’s Hall – Historia are worth the cost

Kathryn Dizon

Staff was incredibly helpful and patient There was always coffee available and the complementary breakfast was decentOnly issue is that the walls are paper thin and you can easily hear your neighbor’s phone conversations or their TV

Outstanding refurbished historical DV Quarters  Two rooms with king-sized bed & pull-out couch with microwave coffee maker, mini-fridge & nice balcony across the entire back of the building  Also, the building had a laundry room, fitness center & a common area lounge

A plus was the hot breakfast from 0600 to 0900  The only issue was that our cable television did not work  We called the front desk & they stated they would come to the room to fix it…if we wanted them to  If management is made aware of an essential item requiring repair in the DV rooms they need to address it immediately

Three stars may be a bit harsh This Comfort Suites is fine, just not amazing Staff were consistently pleasant and friendly and helpful

Breakfast was the typical hot breakfast — biscuits, eggs, sausage links, gravy, waffle maker as well as cold items Our room was sufficiently spacious (2 queen beds plus sofa bed) Reasonably clean The room was dated, with signs of upkeep — paint touch-up that isn’t a perfect match, etc Nothing to avoid here, just not amazing

Sue D.

We’ve stayed here every year before the pandemic This was our 1st trip this year I was very disappointed in the hotel

The 2nd floor smelled like sewer Our room was clean, but the furniture and rug was badly worn out and dirty I sat on bath towels The bath tub was scrubbed so much the finish had marks Refrigerator didn’t work and water was in it Tv had no menu Had no idea what channel was available Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable Pillows were so small! We had to pile all 4 pillows to equal 1 full pillow The hotel manager Dawn was very helpful and pleasant The 3rd floor was under remodeling So hopefully next year it will all be done!

I prefer a bathtub too but I just like the extra room when I shower Bed is nice and comfy and the climate is near perfect Even has a fan in the room for those that like one when they sleep Perfect location between the ARTTC and the Chow hall Overall an awesome place to stay

My husband and I have been traveling back and forth to Elizabethtown to see family for a while now, and have stayed at SpringHill twice now Loved it both times! The facility itself is very nice and clean Rooms are clean and nice size! Very nice bathrooms and walk in shower! Variety of breakfast options! Highly recommend a stay at the SpringHill Suites!

Robert Noe

When my family arrived here the location was clean the staff was friendly When we were accessing our room The peephole looked off and sure enough you could literally pull the peephole completely out leaving just a hole in the door

Needless to say we got a new room The breakfast was fantastic, probably one of the better hotel ones I have seen The pool was way to small for what it should have been including no jacuzzi

GRENT17

Stayed here a couple of times now The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the common areas are clean as well Wish I had taken pictures

Although it is a new hotel I would say the staff made the check-in experience worth the stay with their friendly attitude Of course if I had to critique one thing It would be to acknowledge the guest membership status upon check-in
