I’ve been staying here for the last 13 weeks as a travel RN Prices are great Rooms are comfortable and clean

The staff is super easy to work with! Brady has been super helpful in the evenings and Laura has been wonderful to work with and so accommodating I had an issue with a refrigerator which I needed for breast milk storage, they brought me a brand new fridge to my room within 10 minutes of calling the front desk Truly, 10/10 Definitely recommend for travelers I also work night shift, and never had any issues with noise during the day

Tammy Musson

The room was nice, ammenities were great and the young lady that checked us in was wonderful!!! There were issues with the card for some reason But she did the best she could along with showing a bit of mercy for the mess up with our card! But the best part was their indoor pool was open all night long!!!! I’ve never heard or seen that before! So very pleased Great experience

Definitely recommend

Love the Hyatt every visit It’s super clean Staff is friendly

Easy walking to food and drink Great viewsI love that the hotel is pet friendly but this visit there was a dog that barked every time someone went down the hall, seemingly when the family was out of the room Didn’t want to complain because I have dogs and understand struggles while traveling, but a suggestion would be to place all families with pets on one floor together, away from non-pet visitors

This stay was pretty disappointing The reservation process and check in was simple and friendly Breakfast was really good

However, when we checked into our room there were some serious problems with the room (the door to the bedroom was falling off the hinges and wouldn’t close, the bathroom door would not lock because it wasn’t hung correctly, the lever to flush the toilet was partially disconnected making it very difficult to operate the toilet) I informed the front desk and they said that maintenance would be by shortly to make repairs About three hours later I followed up with the front desk because maintenance had not come by I was politely told that the maintenance guys had “snuck off” at the end of their workday and that the repairs would be made the following daythe day I was checking out I asked what could be done to make the issues right or to compensate me I was told that I could be moved to another room but it would be much smaller and that the rate would be the same Not wanting to cause a scene I disappointedly left and told my wife we were kind of stuck Some other more minor concerns: the pool was closed (my kids were REALLY disappointed) but that wasn’t noted on the website, the carpet and the walls in the hallways were pretty run down, the kitchenette area of our room had something caked on the wall behind the sink, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off the walls I understand that the hotel had just started a clearly much needed renovation but to pay full price for a broken down room, no pool, and a dirty hotel is unacceptable This is not the Marriott experience I have come to expect and appreciate

Haley Biros

The stay was just OK, checking in and initial hospitality was wonderful, they let me know the payment process for staying longer term and I as ok with what we agreed upon, (cc holds and payment increments of $500) I noticed the breakfast staff was pleasant and on top of the ball Others, not so much

I asked for room service three times when I stayed (I would leave for the weekends but keep my things at the hotel) and I only got room service and towels replaced once Other times I would have to go to the front desk and ask for towels, sheets, toliet paper, paper towels because they were not replaced by the cleaning staff One time my partner asked the front desk for something and they said hunt down a maid, that’s not my job They didn’t have them because of being short staffed and it took unfolding many sets of sheets to find the ones that even fit our bed The handle of our freezer was broken, one lamp didn’t have light bulb, no ice machine on our floor for the whole stay, and no ice machine for 2 weeks anywhere, and the pool was closed the whole 25 days, (they said they were going to reimburse but didn’t) The charges were done very odd here as well, since there is no set day that credit card charges are pulled, it will be random amounts, more than once I had to call down and tell them they double charged a hold I even had an outside hotel manager I know call in to the front desk and ask how they do their holds and how much is taken out if she booked today and they straight up said, I don’t know I would not stay here for the price and the lack of service and amenities If things were running more smoothly and people had better customer service to answer questions and concerns I would have stayed, but it was not worth the hassle with me being on an already stressful work assignment for the hospital

Matheau Julien

Nice staff, but the place awful Under construction TVs and remotes did not function properly

Not all lights worked Furniture with multiple stainsUpdate: the staff did reach out to me after my initial review was submitted, with the intention of changing whatever they could to improve the experience in the future I was impressed and glad to hear this

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY HAVE BEDBUGS!If I could give this place 0 stars,I would!Booked the room for 2 days for a medical appointment nearbyWe were only there for a few hours before checking out after seeing a bedbug crawling on our pillow!!I counted 5 live ones on the fitted sheet alone!Under the fitted mattress topper there was more including bug fecal matter and their shed skin! The woman at the front desk attempted to assure me that the hotel did not have any bugs because the rooms are sprayed 🙄My photos, videos, and another witnessing worker shut those claims down real quick!Refused to give me a refund because I booked through hotelcomTAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING l!

I hope this isn’t Best Western’s standards It took all night just to get the room down to 70°fThe bathroom was probably the most uncomfortable part

I wouldn’t say that the water pressure was dismal, but it’s definitely wasn’t enough to do anything other than rinse off in a shower There’s only the vanity lights in the bathroom, and ones burnt out, leaving the room feeling extra dark, and showering even more disappointing There was a bench in the shower but when we took it down, it was completely black at the bottom, like it hadn’t been touched in ages by any cleaning solutionThe staff were all super friendly and as helpful as they could beIf you have a trailer, I don’t recommend this hotel There’s nowhere to actually turn around, and they’ll have you park on a sketchy feeling dead end road behind the hotel (Still not enough room to turn around if you can’t back up) They told me to drive up on the grass hillside to turn aroundOverall, not super satisfied, and we don’t plan on coming back to this one

Acorn Fed

Banging breakfast, really nice rooms sorta unprofessional, They will make a big deal about smoking I could have made a pretty large suit simply off being told “I didnt look like I could read, because I was so high”…(she was struggling to control her voice like she was the high one)

said the person that accepted a prepaid card poor girl probably has other things going on, I would have gladly paid the $250 fine had I been treated like a person, as I make 3k a week weldingI have a medical card, a well documented condition, and remained polite I had no qualms admitting I was in the wrong some professionalism goes a long way when dealing with professionals

The hotel staff is very nice; however, this hotel is in serious need of overhaul Room and hallways smell of mold Room clearly hasn’t been dusted for possibly years

Dirty bathroom floors TV not working Environmental controls not working so that a comfortable temperature can be maintained in the room The outrageously over inflated prices for prime weekends are equivalent to a hotel on the Mag Mile in Chicago Do anything to avoid this property

This B&B should teach a class to others on how to properly host guests The amount of detail that is put into creating an amazing experience is well noticed They seem to have thought of everything besides typical things like directions, parking, and check-in; they include thoughtful items like ice scrapers, umbrellas, and nite-lights

They continental breakfast is so well stocked with a variety of foods/drinks that they should not call it a continental breakfast I can’t wait to return to this lovely home with its convenient walking location to downtown Champaign!

Bob Schneider

We had a great two night stay at this bed and breakfast while visiting our daughter Certainly much better than a corporate chain hotel off the interstate it is a great location

The house and the room we stayed in (St Louis) are beautiful Very attentive owners Check-in and check-out was easy The continental breakfast was very convenient and had lots of choices We’d love to stay here in the summer This will be our “go to” place next time we visit our daughter

Carol Lazarus

We had a phenomenal stay at the Champaign Garden Inn Our room Santa Bárbara was lovely and well appointed with all the necessary toiletries, a very comfortable bed, and excellent wifi and TV reception The house is beautifully kept inside and outside

Breakfast was plentiful and tastefully presented especially under COVID constraints Will definitely visit soon again❣️

My top 3 things for rating are bed, cleanliness, and pillows All 3 were excellent Nice breakfast

Small fitness room Didn’t see pool/spa, but know there is one We must have had a special needs room because there was a doorbell for deaf/HOH Bathroom was more than large enough for a wheelchair Lots of bars on wall in tub/shower area and by toilet Door had peep holes at 2 levels

Liz B

We traveled from New York for business This was close to the highway and easy access When we got there it was 9 am and the front desk was amazing and she put us on the 4th floor so that it was quiet for us to sleep and we didn’t have to wait for check in time

Very clean room no smells except for freshness We put the window shades down and slept a few hours in a very comfortable bed When we got up we went to the hot tub and enjoyed that Shower is very roomie and nice water pressure with a rain shower The next morning the front desk gentleman added our credits because we forgot to add the morning before We did not eat breakfast by our choice but checked it out before we left and they had a nice selection for breakfast We would highly recommend this hotel Loved our stay

Ryan Harrigan

Travel teams travel elsewhere, this hotel is built on a sports complex geared to 10-15 year olds the staff was horrible with kids Arrive early for breakfast Breakfast on the second day ran out we were told more food would come we waited 45 minutes and then were told it was to late and nothing would be served but there was oatmeal and cereal left but the best part only knives were left for utensils

No coffee as well on day 2 with no answer to why Thankfully there was a McDonald’s close by Beds were comfy but walls are very thin thankfully quiet time is now 8pm-7am

When I first entered this hotel, I thought it was misrated as three stars by other reviewers because the outside facade and the lobby looked beautiful and very promisingThe cracks start becoming apparent (literally) as you go deeper into the belly of the hotel

One of the elevators was out of order and the “out to order” sign seemed to be old that was posted on it meaning it has been that way for a while The hallway towards the rooms seem like it had a shoddy paint job and kind of haphazardly put together The room itself was decent with comfortable beds but if you duck down and look at underneath the sink in the bathroom, you will most probably see exposed pipes and crack paintOn the flip side, it’s not a bad hotel for under $100 a night Also, good service by the folks that work here So overall, definitely worth it if you need a place to put your head down and relax a bit for a night or twoBut just don’t get fooled by the outside look and feel and the vast open hotel lobby to think that the rest of the hotel is the same

Extra Rice

It was a very nice room for the price that we got it We got a room with a king size bed for $50 However, the bathrooms should have been more cleanly

There was a good amount of stray hairs laying around from previous guests and surfaces should’ve been wiped more thoroughly The beds were clean and comfy though Overall, not bad for a 1 or 2 night stay

Lori Crable

1st we were checked into a room that someone else was already checked into, then we got switched to another room on the same floor Right away I noticed the bathroom toilet seat was very loose, I let the front desk know right away, it was never fixed Then at about 9:30 at night we realized the tv did not work, I noticed it was not plugged at all and the cord was not long enough to reach the nearest outlet

So we were switched to yet another room, upgraded to a suite The suite is nice and very big, however during their remodel last year the closet was not completed and the jet bathtub is old, not a new tub at all When we check out in the morning I am talking to the manager and asking for a 100% refund, and I am going to cancel our stay for next week, I will find another hotel to stay at next week We will never stay here again This is very disappointing 😞

The staff has excellent customer service skills, Melissa and Liz were fantastic The room was very clean and big The hot tub was perfect and the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were clean

The dining room was spacious and extremely clean The hotel provides free breakfast, dinner and 3 alcoholic beverages for FREE Well it’s not free really but it’s included with your stay My family had a blast and this is our second time staying here and will definitely return soon The Drury Inn is the place to be

Katie Thurston

I want to preface this with this is ZERO reflection on the staff who were absolutely wonderfulWe checked in and went to our room Upon entering I could clearly see that it was outdated

That was not an issue though We dropped our belongings and headed out Upon our return, late at night, I found tons of thingsOur room was slapped together and the bathroom was DIRTY You could clearly see the peeling paint, bubbles of what appeared to be mold UNDER the paint that was used as a bandaid The caulk around the top of the shower was disgusting and also peeling and dirtyThe bathroom door was broken The safety latch of The room was broken Cracks in walls just covered with paint The closet door handle was replaced but no paint was done so it looked odd The fridge did not keep items cold and we lost food to spoilageAll of the issues were things I would consider a maintenance issue I did take pictures so that I would NOT be charged for issues that I did not do Especially after seeing other reviewsWe were here during a tournament and move in week for college so no other rooms we available and by the time we noticed all the other issues, it was late We stayed, I would not stay again thoughThe free breakfast was decent The kids definitely enjoyed the waffles The front desk was great as well as everyone else I ran intoHopefully corporate does something about these issues for future guests

Chris Mrozowski

My first stay at a Drury and I am very impressed, will choose againExcellent value and clean The employees are friendly, hard working and accommodating

(I have not been compensated for this review, other than the complimentary evening meal and drinks that’s included , good breakfast included as well)

Very nice hotel Rooms very modern & clean with lots of little extras, like a night light in the bathroom Beds & pillows very comfortable! A hot breakfast was served & was very good

The food service person was very pleasant, she kept the food stocked up & was constantly cleaning to keep the area looking very clean! Very pleasant staff Highly recommend! This was just an overnight stay

Gabs B

Exceeded our expectations in the best possible way! The breakfast (and service staff) were fantastic and the front desk staff were nothing short of brilliant We really enjoyed our stay here and have happily recommended it to friends A special mention to Alexis at the front desk for making us feel so welcome during our stay and to Carol for accomodating us so patiently at breakfast

No mini fridge or microwave in the room That’s pretty standard everywhere else

even cheaper chains like Super 8’s always have them and EVERY other Hampton I’ve ever stayed in does, except this one DIsappointing especially since I am trying to meal prep the food I eat on the road for my health, and needed a place to keep it cool and saveThe air conditioner is also off by at least 10 degrees ,and not that great Very unimpressed with my room right nowEdit to add: This location also seems especially eager to serve the truly awful “healthy” Chicken and Turkey sausages for breakfast So if the otherwise great Hampton breakfast is a factor in your decision to book don’t count on getting an edible breakfast at this location Spent 4 days at this location this week, and 2 of them the “healthy” chicken sausage was served Wet cardboard mixed with rubber and sage, lightly toasted, would have about the same flavor and consistency I’m back in town for work again next week and this is the final straw that is going to make me book elsewhere for next weekNo microwave and mini fridge in the room, pathetically low water pressure that prevents taking a decent shower, and serving the inedible “healthy” sausage for breakfast 50% of the time I’m just done with this location Most disappointing Hampton stay I’ve ever had

Staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and can’t remember a staff as nice or as attentive as this one at this locationThe hotel is a little rundown

Only one burner in the kitchen worked in my suite The shower head wand clamp was cracked and eventually broke off the mount No cable TV just OTA (over the air) Good news is they plan on renovating the entire hotel, plan drawings were posted in the lobby Construction is planned for August 2022 accroding to the staff Hotel should be erally nice when completed

Norman Jackson

I had been here years ago but it seems ran down now to me I thought I’d give it a chance I was originally booked 10 days and left after 15 Second day was watching TV and went to scratch my head and bugs all over it

I can’t say they were bedbugs but don’t know what else could have been My pillow looked like a crime scene with the blood splatter and I had over 40 bites on my body I check under pillow and by head board and both had them ranging in size from eraser top to pin head I have tried to contact local and corp management on phone but never called back I had physical and photo evidence nobody seemed shocked? If you choose to stay here or any hotel look up how to check for bedbugs it’s quick easy and save you a lot of pain

Brandy Byrd

I was stuck in Champaign for a week while getting my truck worked on This was a great place to be stuck, staff was friendly and called me by name on the second day The suite had a full size fridge with an ice maker, stove and microwave

The elevator was a bit scary as it jerked and bucked going up but overall I was very very happy with my stay

Two Dudes Reviews

Where do I start? Beyond perfect Hotel is very clean, upto date and looks amazing Clean lobby, clean bathrooms, clean room and so much more

Front desk was beyond amazing, super nice and a very easy check-in processRooms are not out dated like some other hotels in the area Lots of room for parkingBar, pool, gym, laundry, everything you need for a nice stayI would stay here if you are coming into town for work like myself or even if you just need a quick place to sleep for the night

Manish Patel

The first room they gave me had a grasshopper in the bathroom, and the the toilet had been used but it wouldn’t flush, which grossed me out The second room they provided, was up to par You can tell this Marriott was the result of a renovation from a previous lower quality hotel chain

Everything has been made over inside The staff is very polite and accommodating

Tiffany Thomas

I would love to give a 5 star but I can’t I guess this is one location you should not go if you aren’t part of Little league and their games this time of year The kids are out of control, running and yelling through all the hallways and parents are outside in the courtyard, oblivious

I know this isn’t the hotels fault I wish we had been told that the 2 hotels facing each other were full of little league players when we booked Tailgating loudly until after midnight Unruly kids Btw I have 5 children, ages 15-32, with whom I have always traveled with I am a coach so I have traveled for years with my teams I would never allow my children nor my teams to be so out of control!

Restrooms and showers very clean Sites are clean and large enough for even the big rigs Lake is so very peaceful They offer catch and release fishing and if you like to do a bit of kayaking they have a few of those as well Located just off I- 57 but far enough off not to catch a bunch of the interstate noise

What a lovely RV Resort! I can’t say enough about the ownership, which is family owned Super friendly and helpful Such a great surprise in today’s world! A great small lake on property with a new dock for sitting or fishing, plenty of Adirondak chairs and a path all the way around for lovely walks! The pads are all level and spaced out well

Really enjoyed our stay and will be back in a week on our way back home! You won’t regret staying here A great little park Well done to ownership!

I was amazed to find this beautiful clean campground in the middle of a cornfield in Illinois It was far enough off the highway to avoid the truck noise, yet close enough for access The tree-lined entry is beautiful

The friendly staff came out to my RV and checked me in quickly Took a beautiful evening walk around their pond They only have one washer and one dryer in their laundry room Grounds are exceptionally well cared for We camped at D & W Lake Camping and RV Park in a Motorhome

The Cobblestone Inn Hotel is a great location and the room was very nice, clean & accommodating to our family My elderly mother and my disabled brother were very pleased with the way they were treated at check-in April was extremely caring & took excellent care of making sure the reservations were completed properly

She also made sure my mother & brother were able to have a 1st floor room as my mother is 87 & my brother uses a mobility device April also checked the room out prior to us entering and the experience should be commendedThanks April for all of your assistance,Also the breakfasts both days were awesome and very pleasurableWe will stay again for our next family reunion

Plenty of quality towels Friendly staff , Roxanne , they even have a few pet rooms 40-60 cheaper then a Marriott with similar accommodationsDidn’t get a chance to try the hot breakfast1Traveling?Nothing else you need to know Spend 30-40 extra buck for a real sleep and no worry about bugs

I was here for a work trip/work conference at the University Check in was very easy My room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and it was nice and quiet despite the hotel being fully booked with our conference and softball and baseball games in town

The pool and hot tub were fantastic Did not use the exercise room (normally I do, I was so beat from my conference I usually went right up to bed) Breakfast had a lot of choices and it was all tasty Definitely recommend for your stay in Champaign area and I will consider using Holiday Inn from now on in the future!!

The evening desk clerk had no personality, the morning person was much nicer This place is right off the highway, why I chose it When I opened the door to the room the disinfectant the hotel uses was overwhelming and offensive

The room had no hairdryer to which the evening clerk told me they don’t provide them They only thing I liked was the complimentary breakfast and a very nice server
