I can’t believe the high ratings from other travelers I suppose everyone has different standards But this “hotel” needs serious updating and renovations

It’s cleanish but there are cracks and mold in the bathroom Also, the rooms do not smell fresh It’s a bit musty Definitely one of the lower-end places we stayed on our 30-day road tripRESPONSE TO OWNER:Nice passive aggressive response It’s easy to get high ratings with paid ratings and staff submitting them too Also, giving discounts for good reviews

This is not a balanced review of the resort Overall it probably deserves a 4 or 5 star review From my perspective, 3 stars is generous, mainly because there is almost constant noise and gas fume pollution from the lawn mowers and blowers

Restaurant experience was uneven – from an excellent salmon dish and friendly waitresses, to undercooked oatmeal and a surly waiter at breakfast

Carlos Cordova

The room was adequate but not worth $26000 a night Got there changed clothes and went to a wedding

Returned to the room about 130am and used the bathroom (just liquid) for the first time and it backed up Woke up early to leave, used the bathroom in a friends room, and mentioned it to the desk All I got was “I’m sorry” as I was charged full price I expected them to send someone to check it out and work out a discount Next time I’ll Uber to somewhere else

My review is over due, totally my fault, but I want to ensure that it’s recorded It was a little over what I usually pay for a room, but it was a really nice stay I totally would come back again

Our room (#4) was on the second floor, it was a really large room There was sleeping for 3, but an air bed would make another additional person really easy to accommodate The room had a window A/C unit, table for 4, fridge, microwave and a Keurig coffee makerThe breakfast was delivered early in a covered basket outside the door – fresh croissant, yogurt, fruit and juice Perfect It’s ready when you areIf you are heading to Tubac, give it a shot! This would be wonderful for a girls weekend in a beautiful area

Tubac Country Inn was perfect Everything was clean and the rooms had personality The location is just right for walking around Tubac

The court yard is meticulously landscaped and has a really nice outdoor fireplace The owner, Reagan, is really on top of her stuff I spoke to her on the phone ahead of time to arrange a late check-in and she was a graceful presence each morning and early afternoon ready to answer questions or give directions as she worked on the property and helped other guests settle in I was in town for a wedding and so I visited the places a number of others were staying All very nice as well, but I felt like I scored the best spot

Very clean and well located BW close to the border and just a few minutes from the Nogales Customs office or any of the soccer or little league fields The area has multiple restaurants within walking distance, along with a convenience store and gas stationBreakfast was included with the stay and served early morning in the lobby

Normal continental options like waffles, juice, coffee, bagels and the likeI am surprised how quiet the rooms are with the highway near by I actually didn’t hear any traffic The WiFi signal was strong in the room, and the beds are plenty comfortable This is my default spot when staying in Nogales for business trips

Nice little quaint hotel The grounds (including the golf course) are meticulously maintained The place is very picturesque, perfect to relax or play

Even when the place is fully booked you can never tell as it is spacious and properly staffed Makes a beautiful venue for weddings or parties The staff is very friendly and courteous the rooms are nice and rustic but could use a little upgrading One time we got locked out of our room when the mechanical lock/ key would not work

Paula Keith

Love this place Beautiful resort Great food at the Stables

Pork schnitzel with lemon caper sauce, roasted potatoes and young green beans Worth the hour and half drive just for that meal I don’t appreciate the resort fee Be straight with price If I can’t avoid the fee, it’s not optional and should be reflected in the price offered

R.R.

If you’re a local and don’t care too much for golf go on the off season

The price is a bit high this time of year Also, if you’re a local, book last minute More rooms will be available Pools are nice Hot tub is nice King rooms are nice (though the mattress in mine was definitely filled with lumps and craters) Bath tubs are nice Quiet atmosphere is nice Mostly an older crowd Hours are very limited If you go for a late night walk, you will bump into a cow 🐄
