The room was very clean, near the freeway, shopping, and dining Pet friendly, safe and ample parkingEvery staff member was outstanding by providing excellent customer service continuously for the three days of our stay: kind, positive, professional, and continuously made sure out stay was comfortable and accommodating

Isabelle Hopkins

The 1st thing is: TV didn’t work, and every night it would revert into a blank & black screen Every day we would need to have the clerk on duty come into our room to “reprogram” our TV so that it would be able to be watched He would come in every time with his remote and said that only his remote would fix the problem

Yet every night the same thing would happen & he would need to come in & fix it Absolutely appalling! The 2nd thing is: we had to plunge our own toilet EVERY SINGLE DAY because it clogged and wouldn’t flush When we asked for a complete room cleanup (new bedsheets, etc, mopped floors, toilet thoroughly scrubbed, shower thoroughly scrubbed & cleaned, everything dusted) — all that was done was the floor was swept clean & then mopped Shower wasn’t cleaned, the toilet was black, filthy & grungy as before so I know it was NOT scrubbed and we specifically asked several times in our 2-month stay at this hotel for it to be scrubbed clean They just totally ignored our requests! The 3rd thing is: our room 102 was right in between the main office room and the hotel’s laundry room Right outside our room the carpet in the hallway ends and there’s a metal piece on the floor which then turns into regular flooring for a while, then another metal piece at THAT end, and then carpet begins again for the rest of the hallway The regular flooring was so in order to accommodate the hotel’s laundry room The clerk’s laundry cart would bang back & forth on those metal pieces EVERY TIME the cart went through And every 10 minutes a worker would SLAM the office door (the one that has a built-in security code lock) & go to the laundry room & SLAM THAT door! In a few minutes then they’d exit the laundry room, slam THAT door, then enter their locked office door and slam THAT DOOR! This went on for the ENTIRE 2 months we were there At ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT & DAY My wife tended to stay up nights because of pain, and she can testify to the constant slamming!! Like clockwork, every night BOTH THESE DOORS WOULD CONTINUALLY SLAM OPEN & SHUT ALL NIGHT LONG!! And the carts never failed to hit those metal pieces, further adding to the incessant banging & slamming!! We were never able to sleep! Our stay here at this hotel was simply pathetic Absolutely undeniably stressful & horrible!!! We spent nearly $6,00000 for our 2-month stay here, and it was such a waste Wish I would have known these horrific things would be happening all the time, we would have spent our hard-earned money elsewhere! For sure, this will NEVER happen to us again! Not at THIS hotel

Ended up being here way longer then expected and was paying weekly Rooms were despicable, dirty and old They used covid for every excuse including not doing housekeeping

Avoid this establishment One bright star in this horrible place was the front desk manager Katrina Hart She did her best too make my stay as good as possible but owner and manager are running this place into ground with no maintenance or upkeep on hotel Again avoid if at all possible Oh and cockroaches are bad

Jeremy Boe

Really bad hotel don’t stay here!! Drove hours to check in and had to wait over 1/2 hour to check in While we were checking in one guy that was checking in before us had already came back complaining that there was no hot water and the guy checking us in told the one renting the room to fix it Or they would see if they had another room available

Everything in our room was broken but the tv Lock falling off the door, cobwebs and ants and possibly blood on the wall It was freezing in the room and broken heater could not turn heat up or down just on or off and took 3 hours to heat room Had to get up 3 times over night to turn on and off from being too hot to too cold Didn’t even want to take a shower it was gross Hair around sink and dog hair on couch Bed side table looked like it was not wiped down Bed not comfortable and pillows are small like couch pillows Save your self and do not stay here I never do bad reviews but had too because I’m looking out for you! I took lots of pictures too

Oliver Wheatley

Ooof i mean I’m not too sure what to say Ill start with the positives: the hotel exterior was well presented There was plenty of parking, lots of shops nearby and the free breakfast was ok, however theres very limited choice so beware

However I would not stay here again The room was really poor I know this is a budget location however I would at least expect the room to be clean, it was not We found used tissues and cotton buds in the room As well as in general the room smelt really smuggy and damp It was like someone had been smoking in there for many years The pool was also out of action, without noticeI didnt mind the room decor or facilities as these were what i was expecting for a budget hotel but some of the things noted above really just make it a deal breaker

The staff is wonderful We stayed for 2 nights and every single person from housekeeping to maintenance was so friendly Our room was super clean

The to go breakfast was awesome The welcome kit for our dog was above and beyond Location is easy Honestly, Ive had some really horrible stays at hotels this year and Riverfront Inn renewed my faith in hotels Thank you

Megan Hamblen

Mixed Bag

In summary, I would say that I would stay here again if I were travelling for business, or as a quick overnight Not as an extended stay with familyI’ll start with things that were good The rooms are newly renovated and quite clean The staff was super helpful, welcoming, and friendly, and when we decided NOT to stay the second night, they refunded the remainder of our stay no problem The inn is a bit tired looking on the exterior, but I know they are in the process of refurbishing everything and good things take timeIt’s hard to describe the bad things, because very few were in the inn’s control, but nevertheless contributed to us cutting our stay short The green space between the inn and the river was one of the main things that drew us to stay here Unfortunately there were some loiterers and houseless individuals camped out and we didn’t feel comfortable hanging out back there I also hope that a balcony update is part of the future renovations, since the partitions between the rooms hardly allowed for any privacy The final straw (again, outside of their control) was our neighbor choosing to smoke weed from his balcony – despite the clear mention of it being a non-smoking hotel Our room was instantly overwhelmed and we didn’t feel comfortable extending our stay

Brian Mersereau

Do NOT stay at this facility They have not complied with my respective resopnse for recompensing my stayI prefer not to post negative reviews

They have declined my request for refund for major inconvenience and not made it a priority to find a solution Totally unprofessional, misleading staff I spoke with the manager about issues and they say that i never called about/mentioned them See photos and video of the details The river view is great! However, the facility needs maintenance in many areas Good stay but be aware of the lack of simple maintenance Internet wifi still down for over 36 hours when I need to use my laptop for business Their priorities are in the wrong order as they know I need a reliable Internet connection as I’m self employed I have very important business to attend to 😡 Find a better place if you want what they promise to provide! Lawsuit coming in 🔥

Very nice stop on the way back from Nevada We got two rooms side by side and they were both great We have dogs and that was not a problem there

$15 per pet extra is not bad at all Hallways of the hotel need a little tlc on the doors and walls but they aren’t too badThe staff was helpful and friendly at check-in I wasn’t able to take advantage of the free breakfast because I over slept with your comfortable bed Overall great experience!

Maya Nyssa

We’ve stayed here twice so far This is one of the few hotels in the budget range that I don’t feel like I need to sterilize myself from after I leave The rooms are in relatively good shape and are clean

Both times our rooms have been facing out toward I-5, and I didn’t find it so loud that it kept me from sleepingDuring our first visit, someone left food in the fridge that wasn’t cleaned out by housekeeping It wasn’t a big deal, but we did want to mention itThey took a discount off our stay without asking and were both appalled and extremely apologeticI’m taking off one star for two reasons: first, their free breakfast has no vegan options other than fruit or juice They have oatmeal but the lady who hands out food didn’t seem to know what vegan meant, so we didn’t want to risk it Second, while there was still a mask mandate, not all employees were wearing masks, or only put the masks on when they saw someone entering

Tisheena Franks

Rooms were clean That’s about it We expected queen beds but beds were smaller and a full size instead

We had to request room service (which we didn’t mind) but they only vacuumed and changed the sheets and didn’t restock the coffee or bathroom items They had no towels for the pool and we had to go get them at the front desk or use our own room towels for it Parking fills up easy and hardly any spots at night Beds were okay as far as comfort wise In general our room was very small… Wouldn’t recommend especially if you have a large family!

They quite literally saved our vacation The rooms were clean and obviously sanitized (the smell of sanitizer was actually welcome after leaving the last hotel we’d been at) The breakfast, while simple, was tasty

The indoor pool and hot tub were a huge hit for the kids Staff were super friendly, polite, and extremely helpful If we ever need a place to stay in Roseburg, we will definitely be back

Rosie Lee

My experience was good with the exception I have a sensitivity to fragrances Once the room air conditioning was turned on a fragrance was dispersed into the room which was not agreeable to me So through the night I had to breath it or sweat in too much heat

My vertigo wasn’t doing well because of it I wouldn’t have stayed had I known Otherwise all acceptable

Porcu Pine

Terrible service! Might be taking them to courtI, my service dog, and my partner stayed there the night of April 14th They did not tell us/ have a sign saying they didnt take cash app

We paid with a cash app card and it took our money They then made us pay AGAIN with a different card but intentionally did it in 2 transactions so that when we disputed the charge with cash app we have to prove that we paid another way but the two transactions is not considered valid They said to wait ten days for the refund We have been calling them every day since the 20th trying to get answers but these people have no idea what they are doing They are giving us the run around and we are not happy

We really liked this place The check-in process was quick and efficient, and the clerk was super friendly and accommodating The room was comfortable and clean and the amenities were thoughtful and useful

Pretty good wine selection on display in the lobby, so we tried one It was good but this isn’t a wine review The beds were the best I’ve had in hotels in a long time – not hard and not overly soft Huggable pillows! This is a place we’ll stay at again on our next trip

Darth Vader_702

Easy check in and out The room was clean The bathroom door squeaked but wasn’t a big deal and just mentioned it at checkout

The TV was direct TV so lots of channels They have a little convenience area for pop and snacks The breakfast area was nice and included with the room You can get eggs or an omelette cooked to order, there’s also self service waffle makers, cereal, bagels, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt and juice The indoor pool was warm and we’ll maintained, just get the towels at the front desk Definitely staying again the next time we are in the area

Tracy Callahan

Because the room was very clean and it had everything we neededMy son had a friend visit from Washington and they wanted to go swimming Normally locals can’t stay in hotels here but they were very understanding

I even had issues with my card and they still were very very nice and helpful But mostly the place was really really clean and beautiful I will definitely Recommend this hotel to everyone

The front desk lady that checked us in was very pleasant and friendly As entering our room smelled like mildew and stale smoke for a non-smoking room, thought it was just from the humidity, turned the air on but didn’t help Breakfast was ok wish there was a few more options for picky kiddos or kiddos with dairy allergies

Pool was warm and had it to our self The beds were very uncomfortable and thin blankets You get what you pay for with this hotel It’s nice that it’s right off the freeway and close to everything

Ali Rodgers

Would not recommend staying here, even at the cheap price of $90We stayed in a dog friendly room on the first floor the floors were sticky and dirty The beds only had a thin fleece blanket on them so we were cold all night

And the heater was so loud when runningYou could hear the people talking in the room next door, and their dog occasionally barkingBreakfast was pretty sad, and consisted of waffles or biscuits & gravy That’s it No fruit, no proteinStaff was really nice, which is the only reason we don’t give it one star review

Brittany Ricco

Jeramia at the front desk is amazingly nice and helpful The room was clean but I have to say we barely slept This hotel could be a lot better if they did two things: 1) Housekeeping is up cleaning at 7am slamming every door

Banging trash bags into the walls Talking to themselves I finally went out and asked one lady if she could please try to be a little quieter, as people are sleeping She argued that she was quiet and starting back up full force in 5 minutes 2) Hotel needs updating Our bed was rock hard, old linens and furniture, carpet in hall wreaks, curtains let the light in, flickering fixtures in bathroom, etc I have to say that it’s 1000x better than the Roseburg Quality Inn but I’m exhausted from lack of sleep If you like firm beds and can sleep through anything : this is your place

I even had the chance to take advantage of the pool and hot tub which were both a nice bonus

Megan Hamblen

This was our rescue hotel after staying a night at a different location in Roseburg the night before that was very disappointingHampton was a bright light in our vacation Everything was impeccably clean and the staff was incredibly friendly

The breakfast had a great variety and the pool was a wonderful way to spend our down time 10/10 would stay here again!

Glen OKeefe

My wife & I stopped here in March 2022 on our drive down to California Great location just off I-5, super modern & clean rooms Staff was actively sanitizing common areas and touch points

A Five Guys burger place is just across parking lot for food We left early in morning before breakfast started and the Front Desk attendant went out of her way to make us fresh coffee, we were so grateful for that Thank you for everything Would definitely recommend this hotel

Pet friendly a plus but no place for dogs to relieve themselves 1st room given to us appeared to already have been occupied Moved to another room on 1st floor, seem nice until the room above us became occupied and we heard every movement the upstairs guests made

Would not stay there again unless I didn’t have my dog and if I was placed on the top floor

Vanessa Wixom

We booked this online before we got to town It’s one of the cheaper options in the area(still felt overpriced) Common areas are clean

A lot of scuff marks on walls and countertops in rooms Appliances and lamps weren’t plugged in The room seemed like it may have been wiped down but not thoroughly cleaned Good location though There are a decent selection of snacks for purchase in lobby No vending machines in the laundry room even though it’s advertised in the hotel info binder in the room Probably won’t return

Oliver

This place was

Mediocre Originally I gave it 3 stars but breakfast knocked off another one The room itself is Not great but it’s fine It’s big, but the curtains don’t really close all the way unless you can adjust them just so, and even then it’s not consistent All the outlets were so loose anything you plugged him just fell right out, except the outlet I could only access my moving the nightstand a little bit The fan in the bathroom made some god awful noises when it turned on or off And while I didn’t see anything that was clearly unclean everything there just felt like it was, although that may be my own personal bias so take it with a grain of salt The real kicker was breakfast though, where the options were limited which wasn’t a big deal, but then my mother found a big spot of mold (about the size of a quarter, hard to miss) on her food After that I definitely lost my appetite And for butter for the waffles, they just had a massive shared tub of butter instead of individual packets, and I’m not sure how I feel about that Overall, I might stay here again if I needed somewhere last minute, but it definitely wouldn’t be my first, or second choice

We have stayed here for years, as we have children, grand kids and great-grand kids in the area We love the breakfast that is included, the free parking and the wonderful view of the river that is in an unobstructed view from EVERY room The facilities are comfortable and very clean

Computer room with printer is available The staff is very attentive It is an older facility but very nice and comfortable We highly recommend this place Plenty of “stuff” to see and do in the area

Cynthia P

We had a king suite with a river view Our room was on the ground floor so not much of a view However we had a lovely garden view with a small patio

The room was spacious with a wet bar, fridge and microwave Easy access to the pool and hot tub Pool is nice albeit small for laps The hot tub was clean with minimal jets Room was clean with adequate outlets although not all placed conveniently You can connect your streaming device Decent WiFi Comfortable bed Decent lighting Very enjoyable stay

J Sin

Older hotel but clean and the staff was great Indoor pool that has a door to outdoor hot tub Hotel right on River and we had top floor with a balcony and view of the river

What was really cool is the fog rolled in that evening and made for a fun experience at the hot tub Our kids enjoyed the stay here too, had to drag them out of the pool and hot tub for bedtime On the tail end of Covid so the mask requirements was a little more lax Would for sure stay here again Dutch bros coffee right in parking lot Only complaint which is not really a complaint was a noisy neighbor with dog that stayed up too late We just turned our TV up until they went to bed

Friend of mine staying here we’re looking to come stay for a bit Everything looks well-kept I don’t like the fact there’s no concrete pads or fresh gravel Park your home on Bathrooms were really clean and so was the laundry room

Showers look great they are $025 per shower though There is a pond or to on-site lots of ducks Close location to the north Umpqua great fly fishing

Heather Norton

Elk Haven RV park is absolutely beautiful My mother has lived in this park for 3 years Never a complaint

I’ve resided here just 2 short months, and it’s been awesome The owners are absoulty amazing Very nice They work very hard to keep it looking beautiful There shower facilities are always clean and nice I would recommend if your in need if a place to stay Stop in at the RV park

John Blocker

Owners live here and treat you like Family Extremely friendly New renovated bath house, fishing ponds, and very quiet 24/ 7

They have local maps to all attractions and were very helpful and suggestive of where to go shopping even when I had water leaks in my RV that had a repairman on site who came in fixed everything for $30 an hour they have a military discount of $25 and night AAA members and Good Sam was 27 at night or 35 a night if you’re none of the above there was no cable hookup but there is excellent water pressure electricity with full hookup 30 and 50 amp Coming from Roseburg on 138 you do have a warning sign just passed the town of Clyde that you’re coming up on the RV park definitely have your GPS on so you know when to slow down or you could miss it the sign is visible from the road but you must be looking for it if you’re coming from Crater Lake driving towards Roseburg and towards Glide sign is completely covered by the tree overgrowth which only the state has the right to cut down unfortunate as you will pass it up I can tell you there is an RV park right before it if you’re coming that way so once you pass out first RV parks low down it’s the next driveway on the right
