Very great location Convenient to the interstate and local interests Lobby is well laid out, the staff was incredibly friendly

The elevator was very slow and constantly made loud noise, basically hard to hear in the elevator The room was nice, but we had a view of the brick wall The air con seemed to struggle to maintain temp and low, very l low water pressure Otherwise, a pretty good stay

Moses Fernandez

This is my second time staying at this hotel And the gentleman working the front desk(Orlando) has exceeded my expectations The integrity and hospitality from this individual has gone a long way

Running into problems he stayed very composed and executed his solutions to those problems If this individual us not given more responsibilities within the company It is doing the brand a tremendous disservice

Alexandria Reeds

If I could give zero stars I wouldWe had to cancel our room last minute and the guy at the front desk said there was no cancelation fee Come to find out he charged my the ENTIRE stay anyways

The manager refused to give us our money back I will NEVER use this hotel They called my dad and my daughter a liar I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy and I would never stay here, even if it were free

This hotel is absolutely charming! I attended a work conference at this hotel and the staff and room were top notch The room was clean and well decorated I was assigned a corner room, so the amount of windows made for an amazing view

The restroom was spacious and clean The meeting rooms were well equipped and created a nice space for our company meetings The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and bars, which made for fun times after work meetings My only reservation about this hotel is they charged me $8 for a water that never got opened I called to inquire about the charge, told them I didn’t touch the water, as I had me own The gentlemen that answered the phone said it would be refunded, but it still hasn’t been

Chancy from TX

I attended a work event at the convention center The hotels recommended for the convention were booked already but I saw a listing for the Harper The other reviews were good so I went ahead and booked it, though I was slightly hesitant because it was a name I didn’t recognize

I was very happy with the decisionThe hotel is very nice, and a great location Very close to restaurants and bars in the area The service at the check-in counter and bar/restaurant were great I’d highly recommend the chicken sliders And they had a good selection of adult spirits Tori the bartender was awesome, and very knowledgeable about some local places to try I do not think they had a pool, but they did have exercise facilities and office facilitiesI had a queen room that was great, with a wide open view from the 23rd floor The room was very spacious, comfortable, and cool even in the Texas heat Very big bathroom with a walk-in shower Everything was very clean, up-to-date, and new looking The only drawback to the room was that there was no coffee maker, but the hotel did have coffee available in the mornings I rarely give things a full five stars, but I was very happy at this place

Katie Keup

Stayed here with our 5 dogs and the Harper by far was the favorite property! We loved every minute of our stay The staff was incredible, huge room and very clean, comfortable beds! Valet parking so nice to have

We were treated so well, our dogs were welcomed and loved We love Kimpton brands and will only stay with them looking forward to staying at the Harper again Thanks for making it wonderful and memorable

Very fun staying at a hotel that was “back in time”! The bathroom was a bit tight & we had a challenge finding enough electrical plug-ins but made it work for the 2 night we were there Beautiful lobby & we enjoyed being able to sit out in front of the hotel & people watch Though I wasn’t able to do any walking, my husband saw lots on his morning walks

wrathof don

First time staying here, long time wanting to Stayed in the Outlaw Room, big suite overlooking the main drag Six foot tall shutters with what could be old bullet holes? Probably not but looks good

Room is rustic but sufficient and comfortable Staff will go above and beyond to meet your needs Really neat place to stay that is 140+ years old 4 stars because price is steep for what you get Hopefully tho this place stays around another 100 years, plenty of history here

We had a short stay for business We used the Drover facilities and stayed the nightThe service was excellent

The food provided for our meetings was delicious and had a great varietyMy room was small but comfortable The bathroom was clean and the brass, antique style shower was interesting and refreshingI’ll be back with family for a fun weekend Too many things within walking distance to name

Amber Morris

Staff was top notch The impeccable attention to detail with the decor was out of this world Every turn there is a surprise and if you keep looking, you’ll find more subtle touches of Americana and ode to the southwest

It smells delicious in the hotelOnly giving four stars because I feel like for the price of this hotel there should be in room dining and better coffee in the room It was really bad coffee and super cheap coffee fixings Have had better at CourtyardsThe pool seems kind of small for the size of the hotel as well, but it was really beautiful Would love to go back and experience this place in the winter with the firepit

Fred Peabody

The Hotel staff were friendly My room was large and clean Bed comfortable

Pool clean and well maintained Everything you could hope for The dining was the worst mess of disorganization I’ve ever seen They opened at 7AM, but were not ready and unable to serve the people expecting to eat So, on short notice, they announced that Saturday, they’d not open until 8AM People showing up at 830 were told to return in a few hours for breakfast They didn’t seem concerned of the inconvenience this caused I’ve had better breakfast service in a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn or others So, if I have to seek out a meal at another place, I might as well stay at another clean, comfortable, cheaper hotel, then go to a real restaurant Coffee isn’t available in the Lobby, but $5 a cup at the restaurant Breakfast for a light eater can easily top $25

10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I have managed for hotels for over 10 years and never write reviews! However, I can honestly say I have never seen a more disgusting property! Not only is the staff unprofessional anddisrespectful but the management staff, including the GM, are never there! I’ve had multiple different events and given multiple opportunities to this property but after constant unknown charges, stealing, and uncleanliness I wanna make sure no one ever has to deal with a property like this!

Verna Serra

Jillian on the events team was fantastic Our box was delivered late and she went the extra mile to deliver it to us (outside of the hotel) after our event was overThe front desk staff was pretty nice

A couple less than impressive things:1 The hotel didn’t seem overly booked and they put me in a room with a flood light beaming into the window all night long2 The bartender was unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful

On its face, this is a nice Hilton property My poor rating is the result of the lack of cleanliness of the maids The property is well appointed with a great fitness room, pool, outdoor cooking area and modern rooms

The front desk gal was very niceI checked into my room and everywhere I turned was filth I moved the hassock near the couch, and there was garbage behind it The dishes in the dishwasher with a ‘I’m clean, use me sign’ on the front were not only dirty but absolutely filthy The counter was never wiped downThe property could’ve garnered a 4-5 star review if it had cleaned the room not just thoroughly but more appropriately, at all I’m currently one night into a five night stay and am shopping my other options in the areaThe cleaning service of a hotel is so important; you’re living in the same space as other humans with undetermined levels of cleanness If you’re to have a reputation of being a clean place, especially given the current era, you HAVE to keep your hotel clean

Jessica Stewart

I made a reservation with this hotel because of the incredible experience I had before, with the Home2 Suites in Northlake Texas I made a reservation to stay at this location for 3 nights due to me visiting Texas for Spring Break When I arrived in my room and I pulled the comforter back , I notice that there was hair all over the sheets

I went into the bathroom and the toilet was dirty and the bathroom sink also had hair in it The counter top and the table where the chair sits also was nasty The carpet looks like it had not been vacuumed before our arrival I called downstairs to let the front desk know that I needed more sheets because apparently my room was never cleaned So, me and my husband ended up cleaning and wiping down the room ourselves I spoke with Princess at the front desk who was really nice and she informed me that I could come downstairs to get a clean set of sheets Hours later when I went to pull out the sofa bed, to put my kids down for bed, there was hair weave all throughout the sheets This is totally unacceptable!! No one should pay their hard earned money to travel and stay somewhere that is completely filthy The hotel management need to have a meeting with their housekeeping staff, about how they should be cleaning the rooms and changing the bedding after each guest stay, because no one wants to arrive to a nasty room that wasn’t properly cleaned after the last guest I definitely would not be staying at this hotel again

Sharon Taylor

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed for one night Let’s start with the positive Didn’t hear any noise while we were sleeping

The bed was very comfortable, except for the pillows It was very quiet The showerhead was amazing, and also the staff was extremely friendly! Now the negatives; our granddaughter had to sleep on the sofa bed, no sheets or blankets to be found so we had to go downstairs to get them Only 2 towels in the room for 3 people, had to go downstairs again Got in the shower, empty soap container When you pay over $16000 for a hotel, I expect these things to be there Room was a little dirty and pretty outdated “Hot” breakfast wasn’t impressive Only old eggs and waffle maker The only fruit was apples that had definitely seen their better days Would NOT stay there again

Overall a great hotel Love the extended stay style but with very nice clean appliances What made it a lower rating was the noise

That highway penetrates every nook and cranny of those walls I think they got screwed by the builder on insulation? Either way they were friendly people, good setup and good breakfast Loved the dishwasher in the room Very nice

Very clean, fun bright colors… the rooms have a dorm type look with a desk and lots of places to store stuff The beds are comfortable I would definitely recommend

I think they are going for a young/hip vibe, but technically anyone can stay right? And just because it was an issue at the last hotel I stayed at… no funny air freshener smell Yay! Also, the sheets were soft

Wendy Lehman

Great hotel, the atmosphere was great, i liked that if you have the app and can unlock your door from that Room and bathroom was clean and updated Loved that it was just a shower, didn’t have to step in

Bed was comfortableLocation is nice, right off the highway Not in a scary location Wish the TV had a guide and the soft drinks weren’t so expensive Those 2 things are the reason why I gave it 4 stars

From the time I arrived their were issues My room smelled like mildew and I had to be moved The television service was limited and terribly outdated

No streaming ability or option to watch movies The remote was dirty with food The public bathrooms in the hotel were smelly and not functioning properly Toilets were not flushing and some faucets were spraying water everywhere when washing your hands Soap dispensers and paper towel holders were empty There was a big leak on the second floor coming through the ceiling being caught by a very large garbage can at least 50-60 gallons in sizeThere was also mold growing on the vents in a hallway leading to a bridge that takes you to another building The building needs some TLC and updates There is also a security issue The doors are unlocked all night and there are not cameras on the floors or at a lot of the many doors and exits around the building For this to be a historic hotel and a place where a historical event took place by a US president staying here and having a speech in the crystal ballroom, as a federal government employee, I was very disappointed in this Hilton brand hotelEven the meeting rooms looked like they were falling apart The wall dividers were torn and falling apart at the base of them the crystals in the lighting were old and cloudy needing to be replacedThe beds were completely uncomfortable and some of the pillows were flat Also the temperature controls in the rooms were pretty badOther than that the cleaning crew was awesome They little older lady at the coffee shop and restaurant was very nice also

Robert Velez

Yes, it’s a historical place Yes, it’s a Hilton The room I had was fine

Large and clean with pretty good appointmentsMy beef is rooted in a couple of things:1) The elevators: our organization had a conference there Our group arrived on Wednesday night with about 30 in our party There was one – ONE – person at the desk After 10+ hours on a bus, the last thing we all wanted to do was have to wait for one person to check us all in Unacceptable! They knew our conference had hundreds of participants checking in that day One person at the desk? There’s really no excuse2) The smell: we had access to the executive lounge on the 15th floor, but couldn’t use it because of a swampy, musty smell That issue spread throughout the conference areas on the third floor3) The common areas were cold! I had to wear a jacket indoors because of the temperature What the heck? It was over 80 degrees outside I like it cool, don’t get me wrong, but this was uncomfortably coldThe problems were NOT with staff They did the best they could The food they provided was good and prepared well The hotel, however, must be poorly managed for there to be such issues Mind you, it did NOT rain while we were there, so something else was causing the musty smell (which honestly gave me a headache and made me feel ill)

Chuck Libby

Nice hotel!! We stayed for 4 days Staff was great until we were leaving We should’ve ask about a porter for our luggage, but since the valet guy helped us with our luggage all up to our room when we checked in we assumed they would help us load them in truck when we were leaving

Funny to watch young man watching 2 old guys struggling with a couple of suitcases and then want a tip

I have to say I’ve enjoyed my stay at this location I’ve only reported one minor situation with the heater, but it wasn’t unbearable It was just that one room

It happens I’ve been around throughout building including the stairway, and it is really clean The rooms are spacious and clean In addition the housekeeping staff were really friendly and fulfilled whatever requests I had throughout the course of my stay there The reason why I decided to stay there this week was because the power in my neighbor will always go out during a snow storm I’m glad that I was able to find a room and they took my family and I in I will definately be staying at this hotel in the future

Open Aperture

Rooms are clean but everything is dated and pretty wornThe guy running the bar in the evening seemed to make a real effort to make a fun atmosphereThe breakfast buffet that was laid out at 7:30 was pretty bad – overcooked dry sausage Patties and egg – you had to go to the front desk to get coffee – no milk available just creamerThere is 1 laundry machine for the whole hotel and the front desk did not have quarters

Ron Lovett

As an ambassador diamond member I stay in ALLOT of IHG hotels And this one is by far one of my all time favorites Want good food? Vicki will make you forget there are restaurants in town

This hotel is nice -ish I’ve certainly stayed at better Marriott’s, but it is pretty nice One piece of feedback – there was nothing on our door indicating we did not want our room cleaned

However when we returned from being gone the entire day (literally left at 8:00 am and did not return until midnight) our room had not been cleaned and we had no clean towels or rags My husband had to go down and get moreThe hotel is in a good spot and conveniently located to downtown For the price, it’s good I would recommend Just ask for extra towels when you arrive 😉

Laurie Giertz

Very roomy stay 1 bedroom suite Large living room and bedroom large TVs, kitchen that has an oven! Small couch could really fit a small sectional Across from I820 and Naval airstrip so can be a little noisy but we’ve had no problems sleeping

Bedding and towels nice Refrigerator has ice trays Breakfast downstairs daily Very friendly staff

Nobodys Business (Bonjour)

No service for 2 weeks, over charged and charged double then different amounts at random times putting my account to over negative $1,000 No towels, had to wash their towels, no blankets, no sheets for bed in sofa, general manager BUSTED through my door twice yelling at the top of her lungs for me to get to front desk cause card wasn’t authorizing when I had just spoke with the night auditor who confirmed I was checked in wrong and there was many fraudulent charges They put $400 in my account then took it out 2 weeks after checking out

I have a disabled daughter and 3 other kids 1 being the youngest and was treated with such disrespect and was terribly degrading especially bawling in front of other guests at the front desk trying to explain I had just spoke with her and the auditor Marriott will do nothing! Way more to tell but don’t have time or space!

This hotel is both charming and hip It’s a beautiful old school property, but modernized with digital controls for everything; amenities include a multi-colored lighted shower with digital temp control for the water and fixtures, a digital mirror, mood lighting and automatic window panels The staff we encountered on property were top notch

We enjoyed a bottle of our own wine on the roof top deckit was so nice! And when that roof top bar reopens it will be amazing The area is fantastic, and the room location has limited street traffic, so we had zero noise overnight We immensely enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again The perfect way to end our trip in Texas

Our stay at the Sinclair was just perfect!!! What a beautiful hotel in the very charming downtown Fort Worth We walked to dinner, coffee and the Water Gardens and just had a fantastic time The Wicked Butcher restaurant has a great vibe and delicious food

The room has everything you need and the Smart Shower and Smart Bath Mirror were fabulous We will definitely go back to stay again I can’t wait for the Rooftop Bar to open up again!!

Karen Roberts

My sisters and I booked a room to celebrate my oldest sisters birthday When we arrived, our room was not ready, and we were concerned we would miss our dinner reservations Immediately, the manager Nick, and front desk clerk Sadie jumped into action

They set us up in the penthouse to shower and get ready for dinner, and assured us when we returned they would have us set up in our new roomWhen we returned from dinner Nick greeted us as soon as we walked in and informed us that we would be able to have the suite for the night! The room was exquisite, and much more than we expected However, what really set our stay over the top was the customer service Nick checked on us multiple times throughout our stay and took care of the entirety of our visit We will be returning as a direct result of his kindness and professionalism

For what we paid, I expected better Overall, the rooms were clean, I appreciated breakfast, and the easy walk to The Stockyards was perfect I also enjoyed the pool and the smell of the provided body wash

If it was cheaper, I’d stay again But at this price point, the following was not satisfactoryThe fresh sheets in two of our rooms were damp/wet upon arrivalThe bathroom faucet knob falls offThe bathroom door is a barn door (doesn’t seal in smells or steam) and the door handle slams into the wall because there’s no stopThe room smells kind of musty if the air isn’t on

Pretty hotel and great location, but wayoverpriced We stayed in 2nd large kingroom and it was 400 first night and 1662nd night No service, no room clean (theydid not even take out the trash), and wehad to go to the front desk to get toiletpaper

Breakfast was fair …sausage wascrisp and everything was just standardfare The staff was nice and beds comfy, but I would never pay that price again Feltripped off at SH Suites On a positive note, the rooftop restaurant was beautiful andthe tapas were top notch The drinks wereexcellent but we paid about $16 each Beautiful view
