We only stayed here for 1 night but it was great Check in was quick and easy The room was very clean and well stocked with anything we might need
The bed was very comfortable and had both soft and firm pillows The breakfast was great as well with both hot and cold options Check out is 12pm which is nice and keeps you from feeling rushed We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend staying here!

There were ample towels but no towel racks in the room The room was pleasant & clean The key cards did not always work
Had to replace ours & so did other guests There are no adult hours at the pool, so we had to share the pool & hot tub with the children By the time the kids got out, 9:45 – 9:50 & a few childless adults got in, we were promptly chased out @ 10:00 They do welcome pets though & although we didn’t partake they appeared to offer a really great breakfast The dining area was packed every morning
Kim Cam
Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE who works for Staybridge goes above and beyond for their guestsThe breakfast team learned of my daughter’s allergies and every morning of our stay prepared a special bowl of fruit for herThe dinner team kept me laughing
They are never too busy to socialize with the guestsThe variety of meals is awesome! The front desk staff is fabulous and so very kindOur room was more than we could have hope for or imagine So clean The beds feel like heaven, the shower is perfect for practicing operatic solos, and the suite itself was actually r o o m y! We had space to relax and not get in each other’s way! Did I mention, clean?!My kids said they felt like they were on a cruise The only thing that messed with the cruise comparison is that we had to go to school/work everyday Ha!

Panntastic
Several members of our family stayed at Hampton Inn so we could be near our cousin who was nearing the end of her battle with cancer When we were in La Porte about a month ago, we stayed at the Holiday Inn The contrast between the two hotels was remarkable and review-worthy, with Hampton Inn being the clear winner
Even before the staff knew why we were there, they were genuinely warm and welcoming The facilities were wonderfully clean and fresh-smelling, as were the rooms There was a sign in the bathroom explaining that housekeeping services were available by request; however, getting the room serviced did not require any action on my part Housekeeping staff arrived daily to keep the room spotless (There was no such sign at the Holiday Inn During my three-day stay, the wastebaskets were never emptied, towels were not replaced, etc)Eventually, the staff became aware of our reason for being there Their compassion and empathy were incredible, as all the while they respected our privacy They went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed, even extending those courtesies to extended family that lives in the area and came to see us at the hotel The morning my cousin passed, Ms Connie (“the breakfast room lady”) gave us hugs as we were leavingWhen I mentioned in passing to one of the desk clerks that we’d be back in a couple of weeks for my cousin’s funeral, she immediately offered -without prompting- to make sure our rooms, which had been booked separately, would be as close together as possibleMy career has given me the opportunity to stay in some pretty swanky hotels around the globe None of them have been as memorable or special as this humble little hotel with the world’s best staff
James Beck
Staff is friendly and attentive – especially the breakfast folks Breakfast was yummy each day and plentiful A/C in room was strong, cool, and robust; Shower was excellent – w/ sliding glass door versus a shower curtain
They didn’t provide room service (prob Covid protocol) but we preferred this – and easily did a towel swap w/ house-keeping Only issue was the tiny bathroom sink w/ faucet at the corner – that caused sink top flooding when we used it Stupid location for the faucet – and the sink should be bigger give this is a Hilton (not Motel-6) Pool was disgustingly green when we were there – hope we don’t get a fungus due to entering it
Paige Garcia
Everything I was looking for a hotel!1) Polite Staff- from checking in/out and during breakfast2) Speaking of which, an awesome, hot, breakfast!3) Clean- lobby to your room No bad , moldy smell when entering the room4) Convenient locationIt was a wonderful experience!

Overall great experience and great customer service On the side of resorts some of the little things did get me
the television in the room had poor volume and there were very limited channels maybe 16 total There were no options to connect to Netflix or other streaming options Though the point is usually to be out in the boardwalk when staying here the little things like this when your trying to unwind has an effect on the overall experience of the stay This does not detract from the overall experience but as it applies to the Inn specifically this is something I would like to seem them upgrade on The front desk was very helpful and prompt with responses I would like to have seen them have a continental breakfast included with the cost but unfortunately there is not at this time If having the breakfast is not possible then maybe some dining dollars for the next door grille would be appealing Will be comparing other Landry resorts in the future to see any contrasts Again, overall, pleasant experience and would recommend for families to experience
Martin C
The location is great You are literally right on the boardwalk and close to the restaurants and attractions The live music and the train ride could be an issue if you are sensitive to that but we enjoyed it
We paid more to stay here than other places in the area in hopes of getting a top notch room also Our room could have used more attention to detail The shutter blinds on the balcony door and windows were broken and in need of repair as well as the weather stripping on the bottom of the door The ottoman had a large RIP in it The tub in the bathroom had old stains and should be re-caulked The woodwork in the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint as there were several chips in the paint Also , the pool liner needs some major attention Several areas are showing serious signs of wear and tear If it sounds like I am being picky yes Premium price should get you premium quality Management should really give the place a serious quality control once over if they expect repeat business
Crystal Mouton
This is a nice hotel Very clean and decorated beautifully The only downside I could find was the water pressure for showers was horrible
And the outside noises from the train and music lasts pretty late in the night if you have little ones trying to sleep However, I loved being so close to the boardwalk and being able to just go to our room if we were tired

Rooms were spacious and clean When I arrived For check in The girl at the front desk let me know that my check in date was actually the next day (booking com error) but she got me checked in right away The only thing I was upset about was since the girl was new she didn’t tell me that there was a rate increase for checking me in On A Saturday instead of a Sunday
However After reaching out to the property manager she fixed the problem right away Will definitely be staying again

If I could give zero stars I could Don’t get me wrong the place is very very cute It has an old school feel to it
My issue is the owner For one example, we paid over 100 dollars for a tiny room and a bathroom with no space The owner left weird and threatening notes the entire visit (see attached) The kitchen is apparently off limits and not included in the overpriced small room There is no control over the air conditioning I just tried to turn it down and she wrote me a note “close and lock the door because the a/c isn’t working” The owner was mad at me because I had my service animal which she had NOTHING posted online about not being allowed I left early this morning because I feel she was watching all I do Cute location, HORRIBLE management Do not come here if you want to relax It’s like living in your evil grandmas houseI wish I could get my money back it was traumatic

We stayed at Beacon Hill in the Sterling Suite for my birthday last night Although I had read the amazing reviews and expected to fully enjoy our stay, I was blown away still by the above and beyond treatment we received My hubby had been sneaking around all day to make this birthday extra special and both he and my aunt reached out to Delaina with specific requests
She helped them both make it possible to completely surprise and spoil me for my birthday It was a quiet and peaceful stay When we came in from dinner, she had set up little surprises in our room (from my aunt), and although my aunt had requested some specifics (red velvet cakeetc), Delaina took it upon herself to work with multiple bakeries to create the best of the best with such little notice I was simply floored when we got back to our room! Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed it right in our room overlooking the water We ended up having to leave a little sooner than planned, but we did get the pleasure of chatting with Delaina a bit and laughing about the surprises and how my hubby tricked me She is very warm and welcoming The house is quite charming The room and bathroom were larger than I expected We definitely plan to return We were both so pleased with our stay

This was a great place to escape and have a staycation from our busy lives in Houston The breakfast and company was fantastic, and we were only a short drive from the Kemah Boardwalk and many fine and casual dining options The room was very comfortable, and we were especially pleased to find that the TVs were equipped with Roku, so we could watch Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime
Many hotels and B&Bs are missing this option Thanks for the great time, Beacon Hill!

(Shout out to Kitty for all the help Give this girl a raise!) everything was wonderful It’s so difficult to tell by photos and reviews how a place will actually be This hotel exceeded my expectations Just don’t go through bookingcom unless you want a headache

This was by far one of the worst hotels I have stayed in It smelled like mold and mildew There was hair all over the bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen area
We booked this place for four nights but we could only endure the smell for two days When we checked in we ask to speak to the manager because we were unsatisfied with our room We were told that she was off duty It’s been over two and a half days and we still haven’t talk to the manager Please don’t waste your money on this place

EXTREMELY CLEAN AND FRIENDLY STAFF! This hotel was saved me and my family from a bad experience It was very clean, the staff were very nice and accommodating The beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was awesome, the temperature was amazing
I love that I was able to add my Netflix account while there Wonderful hotel!
Colleen Williams
First off let me say the location was great! It felt very safe and secure On the other hand do not stay if you think you will enjoy the breakfast it was HORRIBLE! Pearl sugar waffles please Marriott learn your guests To the room we had 2 queen beds one bed is so close to the heater/air one stubs your toe getting in and out of bed
Very poor planning When trying to have guests reuse towels you need hooks or something to hang your towel on to dry When turning the tv on and off it makes a very loud intentional noise Bathroom light comes on automatically but you have to turn it off So many lamps in the room maybe instead install a ceiling fan It would be nice to have more than one chair in the roomif you enjoy a very firm mattress you will enjoy this place

I reserved and paid for a room online for a colleague I got a confirmation and it showed on my credit card statement When my colleague arrived, the hotel claimed they needed to “run” my card and that it was denied
So my colleague called me and I talked with the hotel employee on the phone I explained that it was probably denied because the charge was already run and it was approved and on my credit card But she was adamant that it was not paid for I gave her the confirmation number and everything but she wouldn’t let him and his family have the room until it was paid for (again) So they charged his credit card for the room I told the lady that I needed her to cancel my transaction then and she said she can’t because there is no transaction (even though my credit card showed there was as well as the confirmation email) So I said I wanted to speak with the manager and she said she’d have to take my name and number and have the manager call me Now 5 days later the charge is still on my credit card and the manager has never called me (even after my leaving several messages on her voicemail)This hotel is just messed up Don’t book anything online, as you run the risk of paying for it twice and then they won’t refund you What a pain this has been I don’t know how long I’ll have to fight them on this I will probably end up having to dispute it through my credit card company

7/24/22We stayed 5 nights where a room with a king bed was booked about 1 month out A week prior I added one night to our stay Upon checking in we were assigned a double queen room
Nobody said anything about the room type change until we entered the room to find wore out beds that had bad creaks when getting in or rolling over in bedThe desk clerk said they did not have a king room for us per the reservation, the hotel was bookedWe stayed 5 nights and the room was serviced 1x On day 4 we requested and were assured that that housekeeping would come and they never didThe corridor on the first and second floors need to be vacuumed By the time we checked out the place was looking like a frat house The carpet was fraying in the stairwell on our endI’ve stayed here before and had a much better experience I do not recommend this hotel

We didn’t actually rent a room here, but we did crash with some friends It was a very nice establishment However, the reason for my review was to make management aware of a safety concern of mine
Our friend has a big truck and we tried to park in the garage It was late at night so we didn’t see any signs visible enough to state the clearance height Yes, it was right above the entrance stating 5’10″which is a very low clearance standard for parking garages is approx 98in, just over 8ft If I may suggest, The teal color you have for the clearance sign above the entrance should be in yellow and black font stating the caution low clearance It will stand out, plus its a universal caution identifier ⚠️ In addition, the yellow clearance bar should be placed on the outside of the entrance just at the beginning of the driveway It makes absolutely no sense for one to be inside the garage after one has already passed a 5’10” clearance and is now able to drive through a 6″ clearance throughout the garage In the nicest way possibleHere’s your sign! 🤦♀️

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort They compare countless hotel sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area
I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointedI had an emergency- we had to book a hotel last minute for some friends that were getting married that day Marcela, I believe her name is, at the front desk helped us get everything set up She helped us figure out how to check my friends in so they wouldn’t have to worry about an additional thing to do on their wedding day My friends had a wonderful stay 100% would recommend!

My executive room didn’t feel very executive+ Comfortable bed+ Decent view+ Clean room+ Nice staff- Dated interior- Small bathroom and shower- No couch, tiny desk- Calcified shower head and low water pressure- A/C barely worked in room (set on 68, lowest it would go is 74)- A/C out in hallways and elevatorsI would stay again but not for what I paid This is definitely not a resort, just a hotel
Depending on the price, go elsewhere

I stayed here for two nights A decent amount of parking, rooms were clean, showers were hot My only major complaint is they do not offer regular breakfast, it is only for purchase from a barista
I did not have time to wait nor did I want to pay hotel prices so I went elsewhere to get breakfast Front desk staff was not very friendly I was not greeted once during my stay and when I asked for a receipt, it seemed like a bit of an inconvenienceI would stay here again but I would bring in my own breakfast Rooms do not have utensils but does have mini fridge and microwave

It’s a new hotel with great amenities (microwave and refrigerator) in the room The hospitality of front desk could use some improvementThe check in process is horrible
I came to this location three times this month and each time the experience is not great It seems they are short of help I stand at the counter for ten minutes with no acknowledgment or any attendant present This last stay on the 26th took the cake The lady working there checks me in and say insert your credit card I asked is this for the 10 dollars incidental She says no for the stay for 178 I advised her I paid with Orbitz She said no you didn’t you will need to pay I advised I would not pay again I tried showing her my receipt She said I will need to call my manager I said call them She calls her manager but goes to the back to talk Comes back and press some buttons on the computer and say the manager said to put you in a room as if she was doing me a favor She tells the manager I have a card on file Which I have not authorized Instead of taking accountability for not knowing what she was doing and apologizing she takes the low road and say he (manager) is letting you have a room I paid for the room and the proof is on my bank account
Nesha!!
The hotel is set up nice and in a great location but they need to hire better cleaning staff In my initial room, the tv did not work and the shower was not clean Moved to another room and the tv turned on but the Wifi was very slow
The main concern was long hairs all over the bathroom and entryway Also, the floor clearly has not been mopped as you could see dirt accumulation in corners Requested someone come and vacuum and clean the room, unsure what was actually done while I was gone because the room looked the same, just new towels were provided I think it’s time to give up on Marriott as this seems to be consistent, regardless of the state Upon arrival, the lobby area had something spilled which stayed there until the next day, keep in mind we checked in early I’m giving it a fair rating for the location

What a treat I had mistakenly left a special charger and ear buds behind on a previous visit 2 months before They managed to not only find but kept and secured until my return
I have now stayed here several times and always find the hotel to be extremely clean and everything in good working order The staff is always willing to help better my stay It is truly a treat to see this kind of customer service!!

The staff was very inviting at 11:00pm We were able to have hot cocoa upon arrival Bed were very comfortable
Rooms were perfectly clean, sleek, roomy, and simplistic modern Would definitely use them again Only 35 minutes to port of Galveston for cruise Leave by 9:30am to beat traffic! We had adjoining rooms that were perfect for our family of 6
Jess Meaders
This is a pretty cool place From the awesome seating downstairs to the relaxing couches at the pool, the vibe is super laid back For the price, it’s really not a bad deal
The breakfast was sufficient, they have coffee and hot water 24/7 downstairs, and there are foosball tables downstairs The downsides: the room is small and there are no coffee makers in the rooms I did also have some hair in my shower and the shampoo dispensers have not been cleaned thoroughly in quite a while (see picture) It is close to quite a few stores (Costco, Target, Burlington, etc), the medical district, and about 10 minutes from Planet Fitness Enjoy/disfruta! 😁

Great location very close to NASA and not too far from the boardwalk area Hotel looks fairly new and our room was large and clean The balcony view of the lake is quite nice
The higher the floor the better The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed They even let us hang out in an unused conference space after checkout because we were waiting for a late flight The breakfast was quite good with made to order omelets and waffles along with a small buffet with all the standards like scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, fruit, ect

We stayed here a few months ago A bit pricey The restaurant was pricey for what you get
Bathroom has a vent going into the room next door and if I was a peeping Tom I could easily entertain myself watching someone take a shower, or worse I pinned a towel over it Very weird! I noticed light coming from it when the light was off in our bathroom Had it not been for that I would have never noticed it The better view would be of the water I’ve had better experiences at cheaper hotels Not really a place I myself will go back to, unless I had no choice Wasn’t the worst, but definitely not the best
Michael
Great hotel for runners! The lake front rooms have a nice sunrise view of Clear Lake but the best feature for me is the 10 mile running loop right at the hotel More paths extend from there This is also a popular area for bicyclists
Fitness center and pool are not special Breakfast was delicious – $19 buffet exceeded my expectations

The best part of my stay was when the staff member Aremecia(I believe that’s her name) went out of her way to accommodate me She was a sweet older lady with curly hair I originally booked one night and decided to stay a second night after arriving
I was originally told I had to check out and then check in to get another room and that I could not keep the same room I was told I had to do this book because I booked with a 3rd party I asked for early check in and I was told it was not possible I knew it was last minute so I understood The next day when checking out, this sweet lady found a way to check me in early, offered me to stay in the same room and accommodated all my needs She made it seem like it was no problem at all She was definitely inconvenienced to make these arrangements for me and I could tell she had to move things around for us, but it really made our day go so much smoother Because of her, my stay went from good to EXCELLENT It is service like this you don’t see too much nowadays and that is why it was so extra special She is the only reason why I decided to write this review

Pros: First off don’t listen to the bad reviews on the breakfast Very good full breakfast A+ Crispy bacon, fresh eggs, and cubed potatoes, decent French toast
Great stay overall Comfortable king bed and comfy sheets Nice showerCons: tiny cold pool Very dirty jacuzzi

Location and rooms were good But, breakfast is not included in the room price, unless you pay a higher room price If you have breakfast, you must pay $14
99 + tax There is also an additional 17% charge during the month of June and July Ironically, I was not informed of these when I booked my reservation Other than that, the hotel stay was good

Alot better than the Hilton down the street, there the hallway and rooms look older-not worth the price Here at the Hampton, everything looks more new or modern, the beds are firm, quiet hallways, See if my pic shows up Good breakfast 6 to 10am
Everyone on staff is nice and helpful If i had to be picky about any negative things, it would be the pool (3ft- 5ft deep) is open until 10pm but no lights underwater like at other hotel pools, they Only have lights by the outdoor tables There’s Seafood restaurant across the street from hotel but try to go in a vehicle, the street has 6 lanes

This is one of our favorite places to stay The reason I am giving it 4 stars is because on one of our stays the shower didn’t work, which we did not realize until the morning of checkout and nothing could be done The second reason is I really don’t care for the egg omelets
There are plenty of secondary options, fruit, waffles, cereal and oatmeal along with pastries sometimes I prefer a hot breakfast and the scrambled eggs were better than the omelets Staff has always been friendly and helpful I stay here probably 4-5 nights a month

I arrived to have a relaxing weekend before I am admitted for another procedure The service representative (Emily) decided to question my health condition as to confirm my ADA status for my service dog Understandably inquiring to a degree but asking “what is your condition?” THATS NOT Legally acceptable
Mind you, not only do I have a certified ID for the dog but it’s illegal for her to inquire about medical conditions I did disclose and even was willing to call my doctor to speak with her I informed her that she cannot legally inquire about my status and she said she could I’m offended and annoyed I will never visit this location again They have no respect for anyone with a disability so I hope they have respect for my veteran husband because he’s calling the manager to get this addressed I only told the representative about one of my conditionsJust an update: I decided to go and inquire about the questions they generally ask This morning representative asked THE APPROPRIATE questions but she had to step about 2 to 3 feet away to find them This leads me to believe that the team here is trained appropriately but Emily may have made just a common mistake that many do when trying to recall questions I’m not done with ordeal but I’m more empathetic that she may have made a mistake Regardless, mistakes or not, I did tell her that is illegal to ask me and I will be moving forward with ensuring corporate steps in and the local ADA is advised of this matter”When traveling with a service animal, according to the ADA, the hotel staff only has the right to ask you two questions;• Is your dog a service dog?• What task(s) does your service dog provide?”Please note that the facility was lovely and all staff, even imposing and disrespectful Emily, appeared to be helpful I would not recommend anyone coming here due to my experience but if that never occurred then this truly would have been lovely
