My advice would be to spend an extra $10-20 to get a better hotel The hotel had an odd smell in the halls, the lighting was bad, the walls were paper-thin and I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, and the mattress was thin and uncomfortable and had a small spider on it The hotel seemed like an older hotel that was just lightly covered up by poor cosmetic renovations

Also, check-in was a pain I had difficulties with setting up an account and adding my stay to my account, so I just checked-in in person Got there right at check-in time, got my stuff and went up to the room Neither of my keys worked Came back down and had to wait behind an entire girl’s soccer team Only one person was working, and at no point did they ask to see if I had issues getting in my room, which should have been obvious After waiting fifteen minutes, someone else finally showed up I told them my keys weren’t working, and they said that “they’ve been having problems with that lock,” instead of apologizing I saw her reactivate my keys, went up, and it worked first time There were no issues with the lock, they just didn’t activate my keys the first timeOverall, it wasn’t bad enough to give only one star, but this place was not worth the price they charged Don’t trust the pictures, it doesn’t look that good in person Spend a little extra elsewhere, you’ll be glad you did

On the first night I did complain about the headboard peeling so much so my kids and I woke up with remnants of it all over our body and here Stayed 2 nights with my 4 kids no cleaning on either day and then the head housekeeper informed the front desk man that my deposit should be kept because the room was too dirty I mean 4 kids two nights we brought our own food

Of course the two little trash cans didn’t hold it all but the trash was properly packaged for disposal Yes the floor needed a good vacuum esp with 4 kids for two nights but if it’s too much for housekeeping staff then they should provide bigger trash cans and vacuums in every room because I would have cleaner it myself There was no way I would let them keep $150 deposit over a floor that needed vacuuming Because I raised a fuss about my deposit I had to cancel the next two days I booked there!

Triple Seven Investigations and Protection

I travel sometimes as many as 6 days out of a week in four different states This by far is my favorite hotel out of all the ones that I stay in The manager Tammy always greets me when she sees me of course always asks if I brought my fur baby with me

The staff is always been friendly the hotel has always been clean and the rooms are beautiful I’m out on a two-week stay so of course I needed to do laundry only to find out that their laundry was free as opposed to most hotels where you have to pay for it

Sarah Ahillen

Stayed Thursday until Sunday due toIce and it is less than a mileFrom work Ladies at front desk were great in assisting me I only paid for 1 night during stay

Very kind The man there on Saturday called and woke me up after the cleaning ladies and he had attitude but he doesn’t represent the entire stay

Felisha Williams

Our stay was horrible We called at 12pm today 02/11/22 and ask was the pool open We was told yes

Now we go down to use the pool and the pool is close due to maintenance The girl at the counter couldn’t tell us why it was close That was the only reason why we book the hotel We are local residents we don’t have any other reason to stay here We didn’t stay We check out before 6:15pm

Everything about this convenient downtown property was just great The rooms were comfortable and the amenities, including the cute outdoor courtyard were perfect BUT the staff was absolutely amazing

The delightful woman at the front desk boomed a “hello” every time we came in, the women who were cleaning the common areas stopped to talk and interact The day we were leaving, there was a woman polishing the elevator door (I didn’t even know anyone did this) and she stopped for a second to tell me how pretty and well behaved our dog was And everyone who worked there had a permanent smile It was a great experience

Kim Antar

Such a great hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff Our room was very spacious, bigger than an average room and it included a kitchen Very comfy beds and clean room

We had our large dog with us and it worked out perfectly Complimentary breakfast is great too Lots of options like eggs, waffles,Breakfast sandwiches etc if we ever drive through Little Rock again, this is where we will stay

Jerald Puckett (Ozark Juniors 16-1)

I’m a Lifetime Hilton Diamond member but due to some bad experiences lately I decided to give Marriott a try I’ve stayed in this hotel 4 times in the last few weeks Front desk (Charles) is very friendly and rooms are nice

I was upgraded once to a huge 2 bedroom 2 bath suite but even the other rooms were very roomy There is construction nearby but either they weren’t working or I couldn’t hear them so it wasn’t an issue Can’t wait till it gets warmer and I can use the pool and basketball court Self parking and right next to the hotel is nice Will continue to stay here when in town

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary The hotel is absolutely beautiful! Every staff member we encountered was polite and helpful Mr

Steven at the front desk was so friendly and answered any questions we had Jacob with the valet team was super helpful and friendly as well, he made sure we knew where we were going and offered helpful advice and when we could find a ride to the concert we were attending, he immediately solved our issue by phoning a ride for us and even offered to pick us up All the staff at the Capital hotel seemed willing to do whatever to make your visit a great experience

Ann Thompson

What a fabulous experience We were greeted by well-dressed, polite, helpful valet drivers At check in the host, Matt was personable, kind, genuine, and gave us a chuckle

Our rooms were perfect temp The spaciousness and grandure of this hotel was like stepping back into a royal time Quiet atmosphere and beauty at every detail Wonderful breakfast at the One-Eleven in-house restaurant Would highly recommend to all guests in the area

Athena Navarro Hinkhouse

We have stayed at the Capital for years, several weekends a year, because our kids attend camp and retreats in Arkansas and we drive them from Dallas We used to LOVE the hotel and would never dream of staying anywhere else However, the last two stays were incredibly disappointing

The first time I blamed low staff due to Covid The second time, I wrote a letter to the General Manager and didn’t hear back They no longer had van service to take us to dinner and pick us up Meanwhile, we had driven 6 hours in the rain and Uber wasn’t available for 30 minutes We always enjoyed having interesting flavored water and iced tea in the lobby, that was also gone We weren’t offered bell service When I asked for it, I was told “It will probably be faster to run it up yourself” We always loved the breakfast before checking out The restaurant was closed for breakfast on Sunday The icing on the cake was when we saw the hotel driver the following night, he told us he was available to take us to dinner The valet told him to go ask the manager We saw her nod her head “no” The last time we were in town we stayed across the street We decided to go to the Capital for a drink after dinner because they always had our favorite wines by the glass Well, they had changed the wine list and basically told us the bar was closing at 10:30 It was 10:15 on a Saturday night So, yeahthe new corporate ownership has ran the place down and all the personal touches we missed, are actually gone Thankfully, they still have the wonderful staff It’s quite heartbreaking actually

The staff is top notch Everyone was very friendly and super helpful Bed was extremely comfortable, mini fridge was nice and the TV was large

Negatives: tiny bathroom, as in the door was 1 inch away from the toilet when open No fan in the bathroom makes for a steam room, not always good Our door to the hallway had open spots, meaning lots of light and noises traveled in We actually had to switch rooms (kudos excellent staff for the help)Lastly, the Starbucks was closedat 8:30amon a Saturday

Michael H

Didn’t get free breakfast, but the pantry room on my floor (5th) had a nice coffee machine and snacks available (trail mix, snack mix, fruit cups, oatmeal) Can’t say it was better than the regular continental breakfast, but considering the room rate was better than I was expecting I was happy with the compromiseThe room was very nice looking and the bathroom was clean and modern

The staff we talked to during our stay were all helpful and really nice people

Michael Donner

The whole hotel was terribly hot, to the point we couldn’t stay at the bar or pool very long The restaurant/bar was out of most food, the telephone lines to get to them didn’t work, and they are incredibly expensive for the quality The beds weren’t comfortable and the bathroom was very small

On the plus-side, the staff was very friendly and check in was incredibly easy The location was great as far as ease of access and lack of traffic

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! Room was clean and spacious with modern fixtures and feel, service was fantastic, and check-in and check-out were a breeze The kitchenette and large fridge was a nice bonus for heating up leftovers and keeping some extra drinks cold My room also had a nice rollout work desk and a couch/sitting area which were super convenient for getting extra work done

On top of the quality of the rooms and the facilities, the service was flawless Front desk was attended all hours, and they helped me solve an internet issue in my room, issued me a new room key in 30 seconds when I locked myself out of my room, and had complimentary snacks and drinks at all hours in the front lobby Being able to grab a few snacks and some cold bottles of water or Red Bulls made traveling that much easierAll in all, a fantastic stay for a great price, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here or recommend it to others

H2S is my hotel of choice in Little Rock The rooms and service are consistently excellent This trip I received exceptional service from Tywana

She helped me get the desired room for an early check in She was a consummate professional with a great personal manner She helped me arrange for an extended departure due to a late flight She is a five-star associate! Thank you Tywana!

I’m trying to get them to honor their satisfaction guarantee policy since July 24th They act like the only issue was the citywide power outage which was not the case at all there were several other issues that nobody wishes to address nor does anybody want to stand by their policy I did book through Expedia but Expedia is not all for the guarantee

Keep your word Home2Suites It’s literally right on your website

pet friendlyMy family finally got some sleep after a long drive! The only thing I would like to see in this hotel is a restaurant, since we checked in in the evening and wanted to have dinner, and after driving around the city for about an hour, we did not find anything open from restaurants or fast foods anywhere

We only stayed for one night as we were just passing through Arkansas to get back home Overall the hotel was nice The rooms were very clean and the owner is extremely nice and friendly

The few issues I had with the hotel would not stop me from returning but it might for others For one there is no elevator It wasn’t much of a problem for me and my husband but for others, it definitely could be I do not fault the owners for this, I am just letting others know Two the bathtub stopper would not go down and I noticed that the bathtub had some kind of patch on the bottom that was coming up Again not a deal breaker but was disappointing as I had wanted to take a bath after being in the car all day The third and final issue, the parking lot is small and it feels like there are too many spots for electric vehicles and not enough for everyone else We were able to get a spot but when we left in the morning there were cars parked in places that were not actual parking spots Overall though a good experience and if I was ever in the area again and needed a place to stay I would stay here

Jill Renae

We were pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this hotel New updated rooms, friendly staff, good water pressure, and they had BREAKFAST! First hotel I’ve stayed at since COVID to finally let me have a Belgian waffle first thing in the morning! The exterior is beautiful too Pool, landscaping, the view from our room

Top Notch Best Western My husband even asked me to stay another night just so we could chill and use the amenities Too bad we had places to be 🙂

Mari Pue

Stopped to get a shower & good night’s rest after traveling to our new home in Arkansas from Indiana The smell of the room was the first strike, the state of the bathroom was final It does not even look sanitary as there is what is apparently caulk and some sort of residue on the bottom of the shower

Will definitely not recommend as both needs will not be met since I’d rather sleep in my car If this is your best effort look deep down and ask yourself if these standards are good enough for you If yes, please review your hygiene If no, then do better

I’m a little surprised this hotel does not have a higher rating as our stay was excellent in every aspect We actually stayed here on way up to Chicago and were so impressed we stayed again on the way back Room was clean and the view was great

Staff (Mark) was helpful and friendly Breakfast was amazing and the staff there super friendly alsoIf I’m ever in Little Rock, AR again would definitely stay at this hotel Definite 5-star experience

Lizzy Boo

I liked the 2-story suite I stayed in It’s obvious that it was at one point two separate normal sized rooms which was converted into an upstairs-downstairs suite That’s not a complaint, by the way

I’m actually intrigued The upstairs bathroom had what looked like a jetted tub I didn’t use it to confirmOverall, the suite was neat and clean, with all expected amenities and no real issues My only complaint would be the soap dispensers on the shower walls The upstairs’ body wash dispenser didn’t produce any soap even though it was full Guess it was clogged or somethingAnyway, it was a comfortable stay and I’ll stay again if the stars align

Timothy McCollum

First, the breakfast (except the pineapple) was edible at best Hard and cold biscuits and gravy, bacon crumbles (for bacon), powdered eggs, and the potatoes were tasteless and coldNight one our AC unit soaked the carpet because the drain was blocked

We were told someone would be up to repair it We left the hotel and 7 hours later not a soul has shown up Called the front desk, the manager says “ I just got here and don’t know anything about it “ Someone did however show up this time It could not be repaired and we had to pack up everything and move to a smaller roomLast but not least, the pool From a distance it looks nice When you get closer, the water is cloudy, filthy with trash, and the sides are coming apart We actually tried one afternoon to enjoy the pool We were there about 30 minutes before no less than 30-35 kids show up all within 15 minutes of each other They were loud, rude, inconsiderate (slashing water all over people laying out ) It was pretty obvious these individuals just showed up without parents and weren’t staying at the pool The few people who were there before also left like we didLastly, the pool closes at 10pm There was yelling, screaming, partying in the pool way past that and it was very difficult to sleep I did ask the front desk to enforce the hours She said she would send security down Needless to say, it took another phone call and time to get it enforced so we could actually sleepThe staff overall were nice I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone It’s a wannabe Marriott in disguise as a motel 6

One of the nicest courtyard’s I’ve stayed in (been in A LOT) & very well run staff wise Clean, modern, convenient, comfortable, on and on Location is great with quick variety local food options, but also has food in house options until 9pm! and for traveling with pets, plenty of nice grass space for the pups that isn’t overrun with people not picking up after their pets

A+++

Traveled from Memphis, stayed there 4 nights M-F The hotel seemed clean for the most part I reserved a King size room and called to see if I could check in early

I was told that a staff member would call if I could check in earlier, this was at 10am I didn’t receive a call so I checked in at 3:00 Was told at the point of arrival that the room was a double, only because I asked I got in the room and there were two or three dead bugs on the carpet Clearly it wasn’t vacuumed, which makes me wonder if it was cleaned The sheets on one of the beds were dirty as well I asked for the room to be vacuumed, it was performed Tuesday evening I noticed lots of bites on my feet and legs Wednesday it was worse, and I saw 2 micro sized black bugs crawling on my lower leg as I was in the bathroom I don’t think they had bedbugs, because I looked But it may have been some type of carpet infestation I have over 60-70 red, blistered bites on my ankles, feet, and legs I informed the staff when I departed early Friday morning Letting them know that they may wanna have someone to look at the carpet or spray He acted concerned and said someone would contact me I never received a call or a follow up Beware of room 425! Take your bug spray and OFF!

Stayed one nite on a road trip Nice hotel and it is pet friendly! Room was clean and enjoyed the Starbucks coffee from the bistro in the morning Parking lot well lit and there is a steak restaurant basically in the parking lot within walking distance

The hotel market had beer, wine and snacks which was nice to take back to the room

Nice hotel to stay at in the Little Rock area Check in was simple and the room was clean when I arrived The lady at the desk in the evening was very friendly

The bed was comfortable That being said, the room is showing multiple signs of lack of maintenance I almost feel that this is a cheap hotel trying to be upscale The interior is dark and a little dank The rooms have areas that need to be repaired through normal wear and tear There were a few times when I passed staff members with their faces buried in their cell phones They didn’t even look up to say hello when I passed them I think a little more attention to details here and it would be a much better place

Gwendolyn Pyle

This place is a gem!! Super friendly staff, attractive and comfortable rooms (spacious and the bed was so nice!), delicious dining You can tell the locals come to visit to eat at their restaurant in addition to hotel guestsVery family friendly as well… this was a one night stay on a 2 day TN to TX road trip with two of my kids and they were so gracious and helpful in every interaction

Would recommend and plan to stay again

We enjoyed our entire experience at this hotel, from the first greeting to the last goodbye The front desk staff gave a warm welcome and provided information about our stay They also checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable

Very clean Rooms are small and a bit dated (no fridge or microwave) The view on the river side is outstanding! The Robinson Performance Hall is adjoining, so perfect place to stay for any events there

Easy walk to many dining choices Ice machines were all turned off, but found a small ice/water dispenser (and a microwave) in the tiny market next to the front desk

For a place to stay overnight I cannot recommend this hotel The view was nice, the a/c was cold I was on a road trip passing through

I let my daughter pick the hotel and she wanted one that had lots of good reviews, like this one I will cut to the chase Breakfast is offered $16/adult $11/child Parking fee $12/12-hours or $15 through the hotel where you can come and go The beds were eh maybe 2/5 Pool does close at 9pm Getting in and out of the hotel, it’s downtown For the price point I would not recommend unless you plan on actually staying maybe There is a deposit of $50 Staff were okay, but I tried not to ask for anything If you are passing through, look elsewhere

Clem Mich

This hotel is average a best and has low value for the cost At $170 per night plus $15 for parking is high for a hotel that doesn’t provide towels, doesn’t empty trash, etc, for a four day stay I asked for a 2 hour late checkout that was denied

I would recommend searching for other hotels that provide any time of customer service I get that there are pandemic impacts, but the price needs to reflect zero services

Excellent hotel! The staff was super friendly, hotel was very clean and beautiful Nice decor throughout hotel with a rooftop restaurant and bar The valet guys at the front was very helpful as well as the shuttle drivers

We scheduled a shuttle ride to a nearby concert and since we told them in advance that we needed a ride back, it was no problem We called when the concert was over and they arrived within 10 minutes If I travel back to LR, I’ll definitely be staying at this location again

Very horrible experience We have been Hilton Honors Diamond members for years and we usually have a good experience staying at most places but we have stayed at this hotel so many times over the past year and everyone is great but the service that the reddish headed girl offers people is horrible She is rude and very unpleasant

When we would walk in the door and see that she was there is was an immediate let down We are certain things will not go well when she is there We always book a certain type of room and we can be certain that if she is there we won’t get the right room we have booked She has everything messed up and her rudeness is so unfortunate We showed up 4/30/22 at around 10pm and when I walked in I saw it was her and sure enough we didn’t have the room we had booked She very rudely let us know of course she was booked for the night and she didn’t know once again how this happened So we left and found another Hilton property that would accommodate us We have decided we will begin to let our organization know to take this hotel off our list and not send us here

I can tell that this hotel is fairly new The only thing that I didn’t like about the room is bathroom door, it’s a sliding door It saves room, but it doesn’t provide true privacy for the person in the bathroom

The breakfast, I can eat pork and they mix bacon with the eggs So, we really don’t eat breakfast Keep the eggs separate, please

Stayed here when we had a concert at the Simmons Bank Arena Quick check-in by friendly staff Room was ready on time

Clean room with comfortable beds The hotel did offer a shuttle to the venue, but with the crazy traffic we walked the 2 blocks instead Only down side was the breakfastThe food was good, but we had to ask for plates, napkins and forks because they were empty on all the buffet bars The few employees we saw were working, but they couldn’t keep up Even though we were slightly disappointed with the breakfast, we would stay here again

I love Wyndham Riverfront! Perfect for a couple’s getaway (but not too far away!) This hotel is in walking distance from the Simmons Bank Arena, which is PERFECT because it’s impossible to find a parking spot there when there’s a concert going onWyndham is run by professionals, the rooms are kept clean, the lobby is gorgeous and the complimentary breakfast is delicious! The rooms come with a nice big jacuzzi (however the jets didn’t work in our room), mini fridge, a safe, tv, phone, a comfy bed, robes and slippers, plenty of towels, two sinks, a shower, a coffee maker, soaps and shampoo, and a sliding door that leads to the outdoor pool! There are two restaurants and a bar located in the hotel! I ate the best steak in my life in the Steakhouse! And the bartender at the bar knows how to make strawberry daiquiris 😉
