I can’t speak highly enough about the staff, management and service! Not only is this hotel clean, updated and in a great location, but it’s well-run hotel, the team here doesn’t take anything lightly All concerns were addressed immediately and they were most helpful and compassionate when I experienced a personal emergency The front desk, maintenance and management were all very kind and I will never forget my experience here! Highly recommend, will be returning! Thank you~

Check in was smooth, I arrived earlier then the schedule and they were able to find me a room The room was clean overall, but had a couple of missing things here and there With a simple phone to the service desk they were able to get it

Daily housekeeping service, the housekeepers are wonderful and honestly that’s why I put the 4 stars It’s all for the housekeepers! Full kitchen is provided, location is great The gym is alright, only dumbbells and cardio (not expecting anything more) Overall great! Front desk staff were also great

I’ve lodged here multiple times over the past 7 months and have had good experiences The facility is neat and centrally located Food and shopping are within walking distance

What makes them stand out is their customer service— especially from Andrew! You can find Andrew cleaning and maintaining the lobby area He is always so helpful and will greet you and offer assistance willingly He, along with the other staff, are kind! One of the other staff members even assisted my husband in surprising me with flowers for our anniversary!

I enjoyed my experience at this hotelThe location itself is what sold me

I was looking for staycation to just enjoy myself and this was perfect! The hotel is surrounded by shops and good eats all in walking distance There is also a restaurant inside of the hotelThe space was clean and modern and aesthetically pleasing to the eye The staff was also kind and helpfulI would recommend!

Paula Yudelevit

The only reason for the 4 star is parking and no attendant to watch my bags while I went around the corner to the garage It is not attached to the hotel and my bags were not light! Having said that, I loved the room and the location Pike & Rose has lots of restaurants and shops, and the metro is not far

Very reasonably priced My view was “Bark Social,” dog park, so I was entertained every time I opened my drapes! I will stay here again with my luggage on wheels!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any stay This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you definitely won’t be let downLocation was perfect! The staff was amazing! There is an art gallery in the basement! The rooms were nicely appointed I enjoyed being able to walk around the area and seeing all of the different embassies I will definitely stay here when I visit the DC area They charge a nominal destination fee and I loved all of the amenities you are given to offset that The bar service and offerings were great!

Elaina Genthe

I stayed for three nights during the Cherry Blossom Festival Staff was great The man at the front desk with the beard was especially kind and Jorge the bartender

At the restaurant/bar, I had a beautiful, delicious espresso martini, a salad and the Mac and cheese It was all delicious! My only complaint is about the rooftop I wasn’t made aware that it was open or closed, but a previous reviewer had pictures of it so I tried to go up one day but the door was locked I wish staff would have mentioned the details upon checkin

Ido Simyoni

My new favorite hotel in Washington DC The staff are super friendly, kind and caring Each one of them gave us a warm welcoming feeling

They gave us friends bracelet (ven in danish means friend)They have valley parking, nice gym and also Amazon lockers inside the hotel)Jennifer was our favorite stuff member as she was the one to check us in and take care of usLocation was great There’s a cvs and couple of coffee shops near by (check out Emissary)They’re also dog friendly and my best friend got a nice comfy bed too for our stayOnly one thing that bothered me is the hearing was probably one of the loudest I’ve heard

Expected better for this price and 4 stars rating Difficult to park around the hotel, parking for 35 $ a night Simple layer of glass on the windows, so rooms are noisy along the street

Acoustic properties of walls between rooms are not the best either Front desk staff was not pleasant There is water for free and the beds are very comfortable though The rooms are clean and in correct state

Arthur LIEGEOIS

We booked one night last weekend to see the cherry blossoms (that were early this year!)My wife called and spoke to Laura We were told we would have a king size bed and a view over the city

When we arrived at the desk, we were told that we had a room on the second floor (not so much of a view!) and two queen size beds! The employee was almost rude with us and told us that that’s what we had bookedWe didn’t complain much because it was for one night, but we felt like someone had lied to usThe room was clean, the view of the backyards of two houses was okThe next morning we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant My eggs Benedict were the worst I have ever had and when my wife complained about her Greek yogurt having a bad after taste, the manager claimed that it was a new container and wasn’t out of date, and pretended she didn’t understand my wife asking her if someone in the kitchen could taste the yogurt My advice: avoid the restaurant by all means! The main advantage of this hotel is its location, off of Georgetown, and we’ll connected

Padft12laws2liv

Stayed here 6 nights for business Gave me an adjoining room I could hear the adjoining room’s music every night like the speaker was in my room

The last night they decided to blaze it and filled my room with weed smoke I called the front desk and they did nothing Slept with the windows open because I had nowhere else to goKept finding feathers on my things Figured out they were coming from the Swiss cheese they call a duvet which they placed between two sheets with no cover The entire duvet was covered in pin holes with some massive ones scattered throughout They also didn’t clean the room well as someone’s personal conditioner was left in the showerYou’re better off at another hotel

I stayed here for just one night on a business trip and had a lovely experience Beautiful room and location In the heart of the city close to many food options

Staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming I cannot comment on pricing as my room was paid for but it was an excellent stay Loved my room and felt so relaxed! Would love to come back! Special thank you to Femi, a receptionist who was very accommodating at check in and check out

Takia Brown

The hotel lobby was clean, the staff were nice, and the location was good Not super impressed for the price No amenities really

I had to request a fridge in my room so to accommodate that they put me in a handicap room I’m six feet tall and everything was super low so it wasn’t ideal The heated floors in the bathroom didn’t work The valet took a little too long so I tried not to use my car The gym and the rooms are pretty small I don’t think this is a desirable hotel but it’s nice

summer hiltpold`

Hotel was great and staff was friendly John was quick to greet us for the valet We left for dinner and came back to a tidy room

We stopped into the bar (the Doyle) stayed for one drink, service was very slow but they were busy and we were content and atmosphere was nice Drink was excellent Hotel claimed to have 24hr room service We called a little before midnight for a bottle of Prosecco (listed on their room service menu) only to be told they don’t do that and to call the Doyle (their bar that was closing in 2 minutes, didn’t get through) Overall fine experience but disappointed in advertised room service When paying for amenities, I like to get what I paid for

We stayed at The Line for three nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! Prior to our arrival the front desk staff were friendly and helpful on the phone with fantastic dinner suggestions and tips for getting around via public transit We arrived early and were expecting to leave our bags at the front desk but the employee was very accommodating and checked us in The room was lovely

Incredibly clean bathroom and bedroom, a beautiful view, comfortable bed, and very quiet We enjoyed downtime either at the rooftop mini bar at night watching planes fly in to Reagan air port or during the day on the patio out front of the hotel Truly a beautiful hotel and spectacular staff 10/10 would recommend!!

Marshall Daly

Superb location, and very cool building Rooms are good — certainly better & more unique than a chain hotel, but nothing fancyService, however, was very disappointing for this price point

Called room service for an extra set of utensils never delivered Front desk called with a non-urgent questions at ~11pm on Friday night, then accidentally called my room at ~6am the following Saturday morning ouch Finally, tried to check out the hotel’s rooftop bar and later, the “included” rental bikes only to find out that roof was not open to guests and the bikes were not availableAll told, great location and cool architecture, but for this price the service & amenities left a lot to be desired Hopefully they can improve, it’s great having a hotel option in such an excellent location!

Mollie Young

Everything about our experience was incredible The staff is warm and hospitable, the room was spacious and tasteful (with great city views), and the amenities cannot be beat! We were so excited to use the gym and couldn’t get over equipment options — there’s something for everyone! The hotel restaurant, No Goodbyes, is also a must The service is excellent and the food is fantastic

Definitely have a cocktail at the bar before or after dinner and check out the coffee shop the next morningEverything about our stay was wonderful, and we are already planning our return visit!

A very nice hotel with a large indoor pool, great dining facility, and comfortable suites The location of Bethesda Embassy Suites makes it extremely convenient for going to DC, northern Virginia, and Maryland locationsI especially appreciated the friendly and courteous staff, who started my day with a cheerful smile and a wonderful breakfast

They continued this as they greeted my return and supported my requests A Manager’s reception in the early evening helped ease the stress of the day or provided a change to help one wind downThe experience I had was shared by the hundreds of guests that were there at the same time I was I saw the staff interact with everyone in the same manner and you know the had equally comfortable and clean roomsSo come and stay at one of the DC area’s best hotels You’ll enjoy it, I’m certain

sharon fritts

We stayed at Embassy suites because my husband had to have facial reconstruction We had to stay 5 nights The location was great, close to the medical facility

The room was comfortable Berta, at the front desk, was very kind and helpful She was exceptional at her job, all of the staff seemed very good at whatever job they did The breakfast was wonderful, the breakfast team was AMAZING We are very pleased with our recent stay

Javier Mejia

Positives: Big and comfortable rooms, enough set of towels The breakfast offered is pretty good There is a good food variety and the products offer are of high quality

The room also had a good viewNegatives: The first night I had to kill a spider, and I didn’t had soap for my hands I also had to tell them twice to send a housekeeper to do room service

Hotel was in a good location with wonderful service Main entrance doors locked at night the lot across the street only charged $30 for overnight parking instead of the $50 the hotel charges

Poor wifi however, and the shower door kept sliding open while in the shower Also, even though we noted that 4 will be staying, we were given a room for 2: toiletries, towels, no sheets for the sleeper couch, silverware and plates and cups… they do have good service though and although it took a few calls, everyone was very friendly and helpful

I had a 2 night stay here last week and I was greeted by Mia who was a very friendly and informative employee She even offered to look up restaurants/closest wine stores nearby for me when I inquired I really appreciated the kindness upon arriving

My room was very clean and and modern and the shades made the room dark for sleeping The only issue I had were some very noisy neighbors around midnight which lasted until around 1:30, which sounded like they were moving furniture around for 45 minutes and banging on the walls, but that is not the hotel’s fault I enjoyed the breakfast and always available coffee/tea in the lobby as well I was going into DC and the Greenbelt Metro station was a 10 minute drive from the hotel, which was very convenient also I look forward to staying here again the future

Kayle Mabry

I always travel for work and always stay here when I’m in town It’s one of the cleanest and best 3 star hotels I’ve stayed in It’s always extremely comfortable and is a good location and everything is up to date and new

Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the noise at night if you’re on the highway side of the building I’m in my 20s and never have issues sleeping even with noise but even this was a little much for me Other than that I would recommend this hotel everytime

Andrew K

Staff was excellent! I’m sorry I can’t give 5 stars on this alone and separate it from the Hotels location! A crowd of “youths” in and around the lobby as I’m checking in after midnight And on the street in and around the Hotel there was rambunctious activity and even fighting that had local police intervention! Great stuff when you’re trying to sleep And not just for a minute or two, this went on for hours! I expect more from a Hilton! And oh, the water dripping out of the shower, basically made it useless was the kicker! Unacceptable! Otherwise the room was spotless and nice, very clean! Again, staff was wonderful and I felt sorry for them having to deal with the trouble there

Stayed here for 2 nights Check-in experience was wonderful as Robert was friendly, welcoming, informative and professional But the check-out experience was Dana was the complete opposite

Felt as if she shouldn’t be in the hospitality trade as she was the complete opposite of what hospitality and service should represent Even prior to checking out, when we walked into the hotel during our stay and said “hello” she didn’t respond nor smile The experiences we remember when we leave is how people make us feel during our stay and due to her, we will not stay there againWe had 2 rooms and both had cleanliness issues The hotel surely needs some upgrading as it seems agedThe hotel is conveniently located and the room had complimentary water, a mini fridge and a microwave The bathroom amenities also included a mouthwashA huge thanks to Robert for being pleasant and courteous Your professionalism and courtesy was appreciated by everyone in our groupThere are quite a few other hotels around this area We will surely stay at one of those next time we visit as our overall experience was below average

K –

Convenient location and friendly staff However, our rooms were given away when we arrived Then, we were given room keys for an already occupied room (apologies to the people we woke up)

The room we finally got into was musty and had several power outlets nonfunctional I expect better for over $200 per night Ironing board and two luggage stands were handy Bath&Body Works amenities were nice I appreciate that room service only comes upon request

Lisha Fairbairn

Could tell it was recently renovated and that some things had been rushed Beds were clean and rooms were fairly clean as well Staff were all very friendly and helpful! The pool area on the roof was beautiful, got some amazing sunset pictures from up there! My only complaint was that the parking garage was very poorly laid out

It had super tight corners, a single lane, and very narrow parking spots We drove a minivan and almost got stuck in the ramp because we couldn’t make a turn When we did park, the parking spot was the exact size of the vehicle leaving almost no room to open doors Very nerve wracking $47/night seemed like a lot for such a terrible rampBesides the ramp, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again (just maybe with a different car or no car at all 😂)

I booked a night at this hotel this weekend after my boyfriend stayed there for over 2 weeks It is a pet friendly environment and the gym is fully equipped with new machinery The rooms are very spacious with many outlets and comfy bed

There was only a mini fridge and no microwave The staff overall was friendly, however, there were 2 incidents that we had with the staff that was very disappointing My boyfriend stayed in that room for over 2 weeks and they only cleaned the room once We had asked for the staff to provide us new sheets, towels, and washcloths and remove the old bedding and trash in the room I informed them that my dog would be gone the entire day to be groomed so they may clean the room Unfortunately, they do not clean the rooms while you are staying there because of Covid We had to change our own sheets and take the trash out and after asking on 4 different occasions for them to bring us all that we asked for, we finally received everything We had also asked for a late check out, which they approved The next day we had gone downstairs to reactivate the room keys and the staff told us we could not do late checkout We only had 45 minutes to checkout or we would have been charged another night Overall, we had decent experience, although, I personally will not come back to this hotel

Sara Smith

We booked a room in your hotel as always in advance from April 23-25, we indicated in advance that we need 2 queen beds We received confirmation of the reservation We were calm that everything was fine

But when we got to the reception desk, it turned out that we were not expected There was surprise on the faces of the custom service, and they said that they had been waiting for us only since April 26 and there was no room with two queen size beds in the hotel But wasn’t it possible to warn us about this when they confirmed our reservation? And how could we confuse our dates for booking a room We showed in the phone that we have a reservation from April 23-25 Of course, the custom service did everything to save the situation, and found a free room for us, but our mood did not improve from this The very fact that one of the reception staff mixed up our booking dates, did not warn us in advance that we needed two queen-size beds, and even when we checked into our room, the bathroom was poorly cleaned, the bath was poorly cleaned, there were traces of other guests inside the toilet We have stayed at your hotel twice And the second time was the last We will no longer be staying at your hotel Your service has become substandard And the price for the room is greatly overstated

Nice hotel Parking was free on weekends so if you are leaving on a weekend there’s no need to payEntry is a bit weird off the street but the security of this hotel is 5 stars

You need your keycard to get around Staff was nice as well Room was clean Like most hotels the bathroom could use some more attention but overall was very satisfied

Yanick Rochon

Rooms are okay The curtains still let light pass in the morning The extra bed had no blanket included so we had to order some (without charge but we specifically asked at check in but had to repeat request a second time)

Nothing else is included There is no swimming pool, no gym, no breakfast included, and a paid parking It’s disappointing for the price

NYCFLY

Convenient transportation, convenient shopping, quick check-in, considerate handmade chocolate cookies at the front desk, business center, easy access to computers, clean and tidy rooms But there is no matching pool and exercise equipment, the room does not have a microwave, parking is not ideal, there is paid parking and paid breakfastSo Check-in is recommended if parking and breakfast are not required

The Maldonado’s

Great location and amenities Morton’s is one of my favorites, and they are located in many nice hotels like this one Make sure you visit on the evening

Our tour had breakfast arrangements, missed the eggs on the last two mornings of the trip To their credit, staff was kind, attentive and accommodating Starbucks in the house too (for those Cafe lovers like us) Safe “business” area, and parking is just around the corner Modern feel with plenty to do around the hotel

It’s a good business hotel, quiet standard, could be any brand really Pros and cons below:PROS:Large spacious room with nice expansive views onto the main street, gets good light during the day Comfy bed

There’s a desk to work at if need be Nice staff at the hotel, very accommodating and caring Very clean, good observation of covid rules etc Food served during the event was good too, tasty, good temperature- I recommend the current kitchen staff can certainly cater for breakfast tooAreas to IMPROVE:No breakfast, no pool/spa; the air in the hotel was so dry most event delegates were complaining about difficulty to sleep at night, myself included – I strongly recommend to get lots and lots of green plants, maybe install some air humidifiers for the winter months The shower head was full of limescale – need to check those details and replace Maybe add a picture(s) in the room, some softer interior details – interior now looks so sterile, plain

We visited DC for leisure, and we felt that this hotel was the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and value Driving in from out of town, it was easy to get to this hotel by car, and the Metro stop made it easy to get to all the big sights around the capital Our rooms were clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable

Yes, you have to pay for breakfast here, but there are tons of options nearby, including several in the lobby I was perfectly happy with Starbucks and Dunkin; my husband and his parents sought fancier eats in the morning The only bummer was that there’s no pool and hot tub But still I’d give the place a full five stars because we were truly satisfied with this hotel

I stayed four days at the Darcy at Logan Circle The photos on the official website matched my room exactly and I was surprised at how large the standard room with city view was I am extremely happy with my stay

The staff at the front desk are so wonderful, polite and attentive, I felt so special every time I entered Even the door attendants are superb They all had wonderful attitudes The bathroom is a tad small but it’s aesthetically pleasing The bed was very comfortable and clean, I enjoyed my sleep here very much They only issue I had was housekeeping, which is why I only gave 4 stars You must request housekeeping which is fine but they almost never came, even after calling 3 times, and when they did it was late in the evening after I had called again When guest check into a hotel this is their chance to be taken care of and this is where the Darcy fell short I found myself cleaning up, making my own bed, and gathering trash, also calling for fresh towels and soap which weren’t delivered because housekeeping didn’t come This was honestly the only issue Other than that I enjoyed my stay and would like to return in the future because I frequent DC and it is within walking distance of all the attractions I even walked to capital hill one day with no issue and it was so fun The walk score is definitely a 10, as well as the atmosphere and staff They also have complimentary drinks for half and hour on certain days which is such a nice touch The housekeeping service is the only issue The housekeepers are so nice and thorough but it’s simply getting them to come that’s the issue Other than that this hotel would get 5 stars I hope that if return that they have this sorted out!Lastly, definitely order room service, you will not regret it I’m leaving a separate review for Gerrad Street Kitchen, which blew my socks off!

First off, the staff here is wonderful Very friendly staff and they made sure that guests were well taken care of The ambiance of the hotel was lovely

Even the restaurant on site was great The food and the staff were wonderful Giving 4 stars because the bathroom in my room was smaller than I would have liked Overall I would definitely visit again

The rooms and bathrooms are quite small, but the front desk was pleasant when we checked in and the decor was nice The walls are very thin, we could hear the guests next to us having a party until about 1am (we stayed up late too so we didn’t bother complaining to the front desk) There was no menu for the restaurant in my room, and no breakdown of the costs involved with ordering room service, so be sure you confirm that before you pay twice the price of the food in fees, taxes, and more fees

Everything was very clean The beds were comfy, and you were about a block or two from just about everything Everyone was very friendly and nice

I enjoyed watching the fireworks from the balcony I felt very secure in the building, and safe I was a little confused at first with how to enter the code to the main door I figured it out, but maybe a small informational guide would be nice I loved my stay here, and I would totally come back here the next time that I am in DC There was a little garden in the alley way behind the hostel that was quite pretty to view as well

Lance Russo

Let me start by saying I’ve stayed here in the past in my travels and loved it I’m also not aware if owner knows how his guests gets lied to by staff They canceled my reservations and charged my card ( they still have gave my money back

) All because they thought I was homeless I was embarrassed I live in Jersey and have a home there I love the artistic vibe here in DC and loving community I even joined a local non profit group there temperance alley because the community is wonderful For when I visit Just cause a man travels and has mental disorders like myself And chooses to explore all lives beauty Does not make him homeless They hurt my feeling so bad And it’s a shame cause I’m sure they didn’t realize just cause I’m different does not give them the right to discriminate The hostel is gorgeous but mistakes happen Besides calling me homeless and hurting my feeling so bad I cried The place is awesome I’m still waiting for owner to call me And my refund but the money isn’t the issue it’s my feelings that are the issue So if your different in any way or beat to your own drum or if your happy being you Do t go here they are not kind My name is Lance Russo I’m not happy about the discrimination and absurd comments made by staff The owner still has not called

Stayed one night with a friend in the private two-bed room Check in was easy, room had everything we needed I do wish the bathroom was a little better enclosed (it had a glass wall all around but the glass was only frosted beginning partially up)

But the fact that they managed to fit so many amenities into the space so efficiently was very impressive Room was very clean Definitely would recommend to travelers on a budget Would visit again

I recently stayed at the Washington Hilton for a work conference and my experience was greatThe room was clean and comfortable The furniture had some wear as is expected with time but nothing that impacted the comfort or functionality of the room

My room faced the courtyard and one night there was an even held there with music playing but the music off my 10PM at the latest do it didn’t interfere with my rest at all When I arrived, I found that my digital key wasn’t working and the front desk staff member was extremely apologetic and provided me with a standard key card which worked flawlessly for my entire stayHallways are dark but not drab, that’s just the design Elevators are small in size but they move very quickly so I never had to wait long even if I skipped the first optionEveryone on staff was polite, friendly and professional, from the front desk staff to the concierge to the bartenders to the housekeeping staff to the event staff When I checked in I requested extra towels be sent to the room and when I got to the room, before I could even put my suitcase down, housekeeping was at my door and it was followed up by a call later that evening to ensure I had received them I also used the Hilton app several times to chat with the front desk and they always answered my questions quickly and accurately

I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at The Hilton They went out of their way to make everyone’s stay wonderful We were traveling with a pet and they treated her like gold

It is clean, inviting, and obviously very well managed I interacted with a lot of staff and they all seemed to take real pride in the hotel and an interest in the guests They have a wonderful outdoor space that has plenty of room for private conversations and lazy reading The lobby is lively and inviting My room was so clean that I came home mad that I’m not as good at spotting dust as Esperanza and Sophia Plus, they both loved the puppy and were great fun to chat with I will never stay anywhere in DC except this property Well worth the very fair price Thank you all for making our vacation so nice
