What an amazing experience I booked a last minute micro studio room for a must needed stay-cation for me and my dog, just 30-minutes before my arrival The staff were beyond accommodating

Complementary hot coco and coffee were a nice surprise While there isn’t a lot of traditional parking, their valet is the way to go and it’s super cool how their stacked parking works I felt safe walking my dog around the block of the hotel at night and in the morning While I didn’t eat at the hotel, I did use the hotel’s suggestion list to try some spots in the area which were amazing Lots of shops and breweries just around the corner and it’s super close to downtown I Was blown away how comfortable the bed was and how quiet the rooms were They don’t have bathtubs but the only downside to the experience was the glass in the shower is definitely too short so water kept going on to the floor of the bathroom Just use extra towels to clean it up

Nelly O

We had an amazing experience Easy check in and really pet friendly

Service was incredibly hospitablethey loved giving my dog treats 🙂 Location was really close to Broadway Rooms were really clean, spacious and really nice Definitely recommend and would stay here again in my next trip back to Nashville They’re body wash smells so good!

Carrie Holt

Small, but cute We stayed in a very small room, Murphy bed, and common space with 4 other rooms We were kind of separated like college living

Concrete and iron modern build Big restaurant in the lobby but didn’t eat there seemed kind of busy and a little loudMy room had a small fridge and safe The common area has a full-size fridge, stove, small oven, washer, and dryer The kitchen has full accessories, dishes, and so forthBut be aware anytime the neighbors come in and out of their rooms or in they are in the common area you hear everything They provide earplugs, but there is no microwaveFinding parking and not paying 3500 a night was a task No parking is provided But a parking elevator is there for rent

Loved this hotel! It is very close to the highway, restaurants and stores We were there visiting family and the hotel was about 5 minutes away from their house Everyone was nice, the hotel was clean, and quiet

It looks like it has had a refresh lately Get the rooms with access to the Executive Lounge if you can! It really made our trip to be able to go in there for breakfast and snacks throughout the day A+++++ Highly Recommend! We will definitely stay here again

Five star service at a two star price By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at Extremely friendly staff, very safe area, amazing amenities (free laundry and an amenities cupboard where you can borrow items)

Room was very clean and felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, with a stovetop, full fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave I was absolutely gobsmacked by all this hotel offered And the best part- pet friendly!! They even waive the pet fee if you’re a rewards member I can’t wait to come back

Karl Boss

Bad firstAs a former maintenance director and building engineer, I found sloppy and poor maintenance A true maintenance director would not let it go so sloppy

They need a good game plan to not do short cut ugly work I get they have short windows to get repairs done and most likely a shoe string budgetBut the franchise and the franchisee need to step up their gameAnd stop using fabuloso it is not a actual cleaner it’s just smell good water it does not meet OSHA standardsGoodAlthough there was some shoddy maintenance the room was cleanThe staff was nice friendlyGood amount of parkingThey even had a couple barbecues out there for people to make some barbecue hamburgers hot dogs whateverThe location’s great close to almost everything in Smyrna and just a mirror 15 minutes maybe 20 minutes to downtown Nashville But you don’t have to pay the higher Nashville prices

Steve Petree

I’m an IHG member and I travel quite a bit for work I come to Smyrna quite a bit an normally stay at the Holiday Inn Express but they were all booked up and I’m going to be here for a week so I decided to go with the Candlewood suites Worst hotel I’ve been in in a long time! I get here Sunday night and there are dirty towels and a dirty pair of underwear left in the bathroom

Pretty upset but people get in a rush and these items were behind the door so they were missed in the cleaning they offered me a different but I told them just get me clean towels which they did Yesterday I ran out of shampoo and I’m now coming up on my third night and two days of using hand soap to was my hair which I don’t have a lot of but still would prefer shampoo At the front desk they have the sign up saying we’re helping a guest and they’ll be back But I hear someone back there so I clear my throat and her and her dog come out to help I ask for shampoo and I’m told that even if she has a gallon of the new shampoo they are going to she wouldn’t know how to change it anyway and that if I needed shampoo I would have to go buy some ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!? If you’re Staying in Smyrna do Holiday Inn Express or just go to the home 2 suites or the Avid which is probably decent but a very basic IHG hotel I have 3 more nights here and I think that’s where I’m going to switch to

I visited the Fairfield Inn & Suites this weekend because my daughter was competing for soccer in Murfreesboro I had reservations elsewhere but wanted to stay somewhere a little more quiet I came to this location because it wasn’t too far from Richard Siegel Park and had a few options for shopping and restaurants that were easy to get to

Emone (I hope I spelled it right), greeted me with the warmest smile and high energy I was extremely tired from driving since 4am and being in the heat He went the extra mile to accommodate us and offered me a Gatorade and got me checked in a little early Most hotels don’t allow this, but I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am I had a migraine on top of being physically exhausted The room was clean, the hotel was quiet and the staff all spoke when I was in the hallway I felt welcomed, I hands down recommend this place because its been a long time since I have experienced great customer service

Had to book this place last minute because my flight got cancelled They were very accommodating The place is really clean

The bed is comfortable , they have free tea and coffee in the lobby And your regular breakfast in the morning We had to leave at 4 am and the lady setting up breakfast saw us leaving and she offered us some biscuits It’s the little things Stayed at two other hotels in this are and neither of them were as clean as this one

There is no way Country Inn and Suites is a 3 star hotel They are woefully understaffed with only one front desk attendant The room itself is the worse for wear and I suspect unclean

The furniture is chipped The charging station is falling of the wall The upholstered chair is clearly stained The door frames, doors, door knobs, and toilet tissue holders are smeared with paint The teak fold-down bench in the shower is nasty and has been smeared with beige paint The room doesn’t adequately cool during the day and freezes at night There was a long black hair on the floor by the toilet and in a redhead There is no place to place toiletries in the shower except for the nasty bench which I refused to used The tile grout in the shower is dark gray and stained The shower drain looks as if it will sink into the ground and disappear any minute The towels are so small I thought they were hand towels initially And, they only give you two There is no shelf or cabinet with a few more towels as would be expected of any decent, civilized hotel The “bar” of soap barely lasted for one shower There is no blanket stored in the room extra warmth if needed The king bed has a thin, sad mattress that is hard but somehow sunken in The bed linens are decent and there is a massive TV I haven’t eaten breakfast because I’m so appalled by the 3 star rating of this hotel, I haven’t yet eaten the hot breakfast offered but I am very wary I thought this hotel would be better than a Hampton Inn where I have stayed many times and have been very pleased Not so, Country Inn and Suites is a Motel 6 with interior hallways at best

Justin Wiseman

Had to book last minute due to an unexpected event Had my main card froze and had to budget Booking last minute with little money is scary in Nashville and I stumped upon this hotel that was within my spending limit

I was a little nervous because anything that mentions “airport” on the description of a hotel is usually terribleI was shocked Felt like I was taking a luxury vacation Had a private bedroom with a door to it A separate living room Amazing shower with great water pressure and nice toiletries TWO TVs!! A coffee bar in the room as well as already ready coffee in the lobby!!! I didn’t get to take advantage of the pool as it was a short rushed stay but I will for sure return!!!

Hotel was decent, staff was helpful However, a bit disappointed when I went into room and saw drink marks from cups all over desk area Definitely was never wiped down from the last guest

How hard is it to entirely clean everything from the last guests Over a hundred dollars a night for this hotel room and that’s what u get Smh, disappointing by far Lacks details extremely No need for that at all

hurleykn1

The rooms were suitable, but do not stay here if you are intending to use the lobby at all! They aren’t accommodating to any sports teams even though they were under a contract with the tournament Closed their lobby to all guest at 3pm in the afternoon because the 10 people sitting and watching a game on TV were too loud Very unprofessional staff!!! We stay in a hotel almost every weekend and I’ve never written a bad review on any other stay! Would never stay here again!

Little piece of historical heaven Every room in this house made me glow! We stayed 5 days Very clean rooms

Beds were comfortable Every night I sat in a beautiful room and pondered what it would be like to be in that era Now in the morning you wake up to wonderful smells of breakfast And if you do not like old homes The breakfast alone will make you come back!Louis, has that southern charm very helpful And you will fall in the love with Debbie the chef God blessed the Belle Air mansion with herThank you Louis and Connie for restoring this beautiful gem !

Tyra McKinney

My friend and I stayed at this Bed & Breakfast on a girls trip We stayed in the Tiffany Rose room The room was amazing

It had 1 King bed and 1 twin Both beds were comfortable The room had enough space for two woman to get dress and unpack without bumping into each other The bathroom had two separate sinks We loved that because we were able to get dress and do makeup without sharing a mirror We also liked that there was a heating unit in bathroom and bedroom We were able to control both room separately They offer an amazing breakfast for each guest in the morning It’s not your continental breakfast that you get at hotels The main dining room is amazing I would highly recommend this place to all

I arrived late yesterday evening after flying the majority of the day for a three day conference at the hotel I was welcomed by Josh at check in

He was amazing, friendly, helpful and showed customer service skills rarely seen All of the staff I have had interaction with have been friendly and helpful as well Exceptional job Josh and great job all!

Elizabeth Recinto

On our trip back from Orlando, we wanted to find a place outside of Nashville that would give a comfortable night’s rest as we made it back to Chicago During check-in, Josh shared that the room we requested was unavailable, and was able to provide us an equivalent room with a bonus I was more than satisfied

Josh also made sure my party had enough blankets, pillows and truly went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable Friday was so sweet and made to trips to our room So lovely- and the teen girls got a kick out of her cool hairLastly, during the Manager’s Reception, Josie made Shirley Temples for our teen girls and took the extra time to find cherries to top it offIt’s team members like Josh, Friday, & Josie that help us create positive memories away from home Thanks for going above and beyond You’ve definitely left a positive impression on us!

This stay was very comfortable, including the breakfast in the clean and open lobby setting The people were above and beyond kind from the first phone call through to their timely and successful response to my having left a few items in the room They used FedEx packaging and securely packed the items that had sentimental value for me

It meant more than words can say to get those items back safely at my home I would love to stay here again, and definitely will, when I’m traveling through next time

Zoe Boyle

Our car broke down at 6 pm in Smyrna, we booked a room at this hotel and told them our situation They were incredibly sympathetic and took care of us while we were here Peggy was wonderful and asked the manager for a late check-out for us

This was a great experience and I appreciate their compassion There are also two restaurants within walking distance

Alex Cagle

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at We came here to have a nice enjoyable weekend and really only picked this one because of the pool that they told us was working

when we got all the way here the pool was completely closed and didn’t even have water in it Then we get to our room and there’s stains on the bed and the pillows even the towels Our fridge didn’t work and when we told them this they tried to move us to a room that was even worse I’ve never stayed at a hotel where they don’t have free breakfast if you want to eat breakfast here you have to pay to sit at a table and then if you even want to eat breakfast that’s another fee I guess they have to find some way to make up for being so bad in every other way because they lose money Save the time and go across the street or anywhere else just don’t come here

Stayed on business for an extended period at this Smyrna Home2 Suites location Had an outstanding experience The staff is first rate and very friendly

I like the shampoo and soap dispenser in the shower The breakfast is excellent and I really enjoyed the Belgian Waffles and fresh fruit Coffee and tea were always available in the lobby Good internet service The fitness center and laundry area is good I really like the ability to fill water bottles near the fitness center There is a gathering/lounge area with a fire pit that is very nice and relaxing I didn’t use the pool, but it seemed nice There are sidewalks and grassy areas if you choose to walk outside in the evening and the hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants and interstate access I will stay here again, if I am in the area

Carrie Fisher

I expected a little better from Hilton, but the location was very convenient for our trip There was garbage in the can from the prior guest and no soap in the bathroom, but otherwise the room seemed clean

This was connected to Tru by Hilton, which is where the combined front desk is, so the Homes2 Suites entrance was unsecured and not monitored Breakfast was not great, so that wouldn’t bring us back It took more Hilton points to stay here than other options, but we usually prefer a Homes2 Suites when it’s available We wish we would have used less points to stay elsewhere in the Hilton chain

Colleen Ulvila

Had to switch rooms due to what the receptionist said was most likely a vaping smell Hallway smelled horrible, almost as if someone was cooking Indian food (smell did come from a room a few doors down from that kept their door cracked the entire evening) Fridge had a bad smell

Bathroom was overly tiny and bed was not very comfy for a Home2 (I’ve stayed at many) Was disappointed they were “renovating” the Home2 side of the hotel and therefore breakfast was on the Tru side (Home2 typically offers a much nicer breakfast) Furniture in room i switched to had holes in it (ottoman to be specific) Only employees I saw that were wearing actual hotel ‘uniforms’ (or even shirts) were the receptionists and breakfast lady Everyone else was wearing every-day, street-clothes looking sweatshirts and jeans Only reason I even gave it 3 stars is because they offset some of the issues with Hilton points, which i know is their standard way of trying to make things right, rather than issuing a credit

In general, good hotel to stay in Modern and clean Room sizes are small, my iron was broken and my ironing board was broken as well when I needed them the most

I’m in tru Hilton hotel at Smyrna TEnesse since day 10th But the cleaning here is very bad! Today i got in my room and I see this! Trash under the sink, they never changed my sheets, no soap for dishwasher, sink or bathroom… and the worse, they cleaned and left the dirty cloth above the sink’s kitchen with my sponge, ! I really expected much better service here!! hygiene is such an important issue! Disappointed!!!!!

We had a 2 queen room Overall, a clean and comfortable experience No carpet on the floors which helps with allergies

The beds and pillows were comfortable They had a soft and firm pillow option on the bed in labeled cases The smart TV connected easily to my phone for cast streaming They did serve a grab and go style breakfast and have coffee and tea available 24/7 We would stay here again

Daniel Griffin

Everything about the hotel was great, except the air conditioners Everything is new, very nice, clean, including the air conditioning but it just doesn’t keep the room cool I burned up at night and wasn’t able to get any sleep

I keep the air conditioner on 70° at home and set the hotel room on 65° hoping it would keep up I would not recommend Avid Hotel in Nashville if you need it cool in a room to sleep but if that isn’t an issue for you then this location really is a nice place to stay

The lady cleaning the floor in the lobby when we arrived pet and talked to my anxious dog, which was super kind and helped ease my nerves about my first hotel stay with my pup Our room was very very clean and clearly had been disinfected all the way down to the carpet Even my dog couldn’t sniff out any remaining evidence of the guests before us

I will definitely be staying here again when passing through the area

Location is great close to many restaurants and shopping places including a super target The rooms are not so cleaned The walls were super dirty

In the bathroom, when you showered the whole bathroom floor would get wet The elevator was super slow and dirty Breakfast was included but we did not even tried since very little selection and did not look appetizing

This was our first time staying at a Glo, and we were impressed Very nice hotel with a good price Next time we visit Nashville we will definitely be considering this location As for the previous reviews of vehicles being broken into, we were fortunate to have not seen this Hopefully the issues have been resolved and local law enforcement has it under control I especially love the diamond member parking spot Only complaint with that is that there should be 2 or 3 of these parking places instead of the 1

When my partner and I arrived (late) we were greeted by the friendly staff It was an easy and quick check-in, got to the room and was surprised by how large it was on the inside and that bathroom is something else! Big walk-in shower and a nice vanity area at the sink Didn’t get up in time for the breakfast but maybe next time, would definitely stay again

Nice hotel, good location but the staff are of little help and some kind of rude Checked out in the evening realized a couple shirts and stuff were left go back the next morning nobody knows anything I don’t feel like it would’ve been too much to put it in a bag with the room number for a couple days but maybe I’m wrong

It could be too much to ask of people these days That’s my only issue everything else was just fine I hope this review will be helpful I mean no disrespect at all

This place was just okay Luckily, it was only for a 1-night stay for a concert I drove up to attend The good – Front desk was pleasant and check in was fairly smooth

The price was not bad for a 1 night stayThe bad There were several small bugs (stink bugs, not bed bugs) in my room I killed 1 earlier in the evening upon arrival only to return to my room later that night and have to kill another crawling on the wall I found 2-3 others already dead behind the desk stand area Stink bugs are a nuisance and while other bugs may be worse, no one wants to encounter that, especially more than once during a stayStaff almost entered my room during a time I very well could have been getting dressed Didn’t like that at all I am a single, solo traveler Safety is my utmost concern I am a seasoned solo female traveler and in my 15 yrs of traveling solo, never had this to occur As mentioned, I was only there for a concert and this was a space of downtime between check in & prior to the event starting where I was about to prep for getting ready soon He knocked at the door but rather than speaking through the door, awaiting an appropriate response or simply moving on, he started to finagle with the door less than 5 seconds after knocking, as if he were entering The key or whatever he was using never unlocked the door and I exclaimed someone is in here! It startled me, so once he walked away, I immediately asked if I could change rooms, thinking at that time it was someone else (not staff) trying to get in! She stated they weren’t able to change the room and confirmed it was an employee double checking if the room was occupied Made no sense to me because it seemed they should know which rooms were available Even if the system didn’t reflect it, they should incorporate better methods for finding out, other than almost barging in a room unsure if a guest could be changing That stated, I likely would not stay again

A very nice Marriott property Although the showers are a negative No happy medium between burn, and freeze

Also the front desk person who would not get off of his Bluetooth left a bad taste in my mouth as well These things don’t affect the hotel as a whole so still four stars And I stay at many Marriott hotels as frequent traveler So I’m not just being a jerk for the sake of it A fine place to stay overall

Not a good experience When we arrived they were unable to make our room keys as their system was down This took approximately 6 hours to fix, and the staff had to let us in to several areas of the hotel that we needed to access (room, laundry room, and pool)

The two days we were there we had to get our room keys redone every day as they wouldn’t work It was very frustrating as were consistently getting locked out of the room

I have stayed here before and chose to stay again while I was in town for work The room was very clean and well put together Staff was great and checking in/out was made super simple

My only complaint was the breakfast I remember the breakfast being really good last time I stayed but this time it was just boxed cereal and some microwaveable items Not only that but they closed it 30 minutes early I sat down to eat my sad breakfast and messaged my traveling partner about what they had available but by the time he got down there, they had closed it up A big bummer!

Overall pretty nice stay, this must be one of the cheaper hotels in the area bc they were super full They even called me while I was on the way to make sure I was going to arrive Overall, rooms were clean, loved the kitchen and there was enough room for 2small kids, a pop up crib, and my wife and me

We slept in the single king bed roomYou could tell thus place has had a decent face-lift within the last few years Things looked nice but upon further inspection you could tell they were a bit older but everything was still clean and nice where it mattered Would prob stay againThe breakfast was a tad bit underwealming, but I’m also a HUGE fan of the typical diy waffle makers and they just had pre packaged waffles overall it was an okay stay

Was driving halfway from Indiana to our home in Florida Never stayed at this hotel before but will definitely be back!!! It’s an older hotel but it was clean, spacious, staff was friendly and the area by it had a mall and several places to eat I was traveling with my 15 and 17 y/o kids 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa

The price for 1 night was also great!

Very nice place Easy check in Entire facility was clean

Room was comfortable with two double beds, 4 pillows each bed, and a couch Outdoor pool which was closed due to the season Hot tub and small exercise area Breakfast was nice offerheat and serve breakfast sandwiches We were on the 4th floor end unit which was very quiet on a Saturday night

Easton Buhle

The bed was comfortable But the room seemed sketchy and the closet door was open when we got to our room And they A/C was set to 70 and on HEAT in the end of May

Would not let us park a school bus the their parking lot so we had to park across the street and walk 5 LANES of traffic to get to the lobby And then the toilet rocked back and forth Would not recommend unless you have no where else to stay

MAKE SURE YOU REVIEW YOUR RATE before you sign or initialI was told one rate and then was given another and because I believed them, I didn’t go over the rates in person with a fine-toothed combThe room was average but had a musty smell

Decent breakfast was the best part about our stay

Susan Allen

I just spent 3 nights here and it was ok The employees are really nice and the room was clean My A/C worked fine

Breakfast was good and plentiful Pool is clean Hot water in shower was good There are some issues like the floor in the hallway on 2nd floor feels like you will fall thru in some areas, not sure what that is about The rooms are not sound proof, you hear everything Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door you can walk to There is noise from a expensive hip-hop joint next door don’t think hotel can control that, I saw state trooper in patrol car parked in hotel parking lot hanging out with some of the customers

Susan Evans

The gentleman who checked me in was so pleasant and the hotel is exceptionally clean Next, I would say the convenient location

but because of the excellent customer service and the cleanliness I will be most definitely be staying here again I am surprised to see the previous reviews as Holiday Inn is where I normally stay and they were booked I went over to another hotel across the street and it was double the price AND was NOT as clean as this hotelVery pleased
