This is a great hotel! We stayed here for a few weeks and the hotel and staff were amazing! The location provides easy access to everything in and out of the city The rooms are all unique and well done The fitness center, the restaurant, the business center, cleaning services and the valet kept us moving throughout the day

The people were very responsive and timely with anything we needed Nothing in the hotel business is 100% perfect but this hotel’s staff is invested in getting it right and made our experience here wonderful You can’t go wrong at this upscale, unique / boutique hotel

Carsten

We liked our stay Parking is a bit of a challenge here Valet is offered but difficult to get a spot close to front door

At this hotel you have to call and ask for ice to be brought to your room Our shower area had drywall/tape falling down from the ceiling The air conditioner sounded like an airplane taking off when it turned on Otherwise, it’s a very cool building with great architecture Great rooms that are clean The staff are friendly and do a great job Jordan at the front desk was helpful, professional and friendly

Carly P

Beautiful hotel, great combination of historic and modern Awesome location, very walkable to tons of places We had a corner king room on the 16th floor and the room was smaller than I expected but we had a fantastic view

Employees were very courteous and they even do crafts in the common room to keep as a souvenir It was pretty clean-some hair in the shower which was kind of gross but it didn’t ruin the stay or anything One recommendation though-vending machine!

Such a nice change from the chain hotels in downtown Pittsburgh Clean, quiet, charming & comfortable Spacious rooms, all the creature comforts, and free parking, all hosted by the 2 most gracious and accommodating black labs ever

Breakfast was wonderful, the breakfast room was welcoming & the garden atrium offered a peaceful outside in which to wander Will definitely stay here again, and again

I am overdue writing this, but Ron and I love staying at the Parador Inn Ed and his pups make you feel instantly at home I brought a birthday cake for a surprise the day before to the Inn and Ed had it set up in the room when we returned from an evening out

It is that kind of attention that keeps us returningnow let’s talk about Ed’s AMAZING breakfast!!!

Beth Layton

This was our first stay at a bed & breakfast and I have to say Ed sat the bar high! The Inn is beautiful and breakfast was perfect! We drove in from Johnstown for a Thursday night Pitt game at Heinz Field and the location is great Even with a recent knee replacement I was able to walk the short distance to and from the field Ed and his pups make great hosts! We will definitely be back

We really enjoyed this sweet boutique hotel First, the staff was friendly and helpful Front desk was informative and efficient

Housekeeping was quick to respond and rooms were clean Don’t ever lose those great dreads:) and smile(you know who I mean) Second, the valet parking had good communication and service Shout out to Mica I’d trust him with my ride any day Lastly, location Close to exits and walking distance to all the cool things in downtown Pitt They were doing some remodeling but it wasn’t a hassle You are going to rock even more when it is finished! Keep up the good vibes I’ll definitely stay there again when visiting Rock On!!

Gabriella Guadagno

Room was very small, bed was comfortable though Temperature was perfect, the lobby was beautiful very nice decor and wonderful staff There is a beautiful terrace on the 10th floor with an amazing view of the city

It was really in the perfect location, target and LA Fitness was 8 minutes away so it was very convenient The only big issue I had was there was NO parking, I had to leave my car on the street they only had three stops and one of them was for an electric car and handicap The lots are so expensive, 25$ every time to go in and out so parking at meters and leaving my car three blocks away was SUPER annoying and honestly a big deal breaker for meThere is no microwave in the room, but you can use the lobby I am a Graduate student so I had to go down to heat up my food every day which was also annoying My room also did not have a blow dryer, but the front desk would have gave me another one I just never called back The stay was very comfortable, and the hotel was very clean Amazing and friendly staff!!

cam ,

It’s easier to mention what’s bad since most is good First of all, I’ve never ever had a front desk attendant as rude & useless as the accented, bearded, tall black man who checked us in This is not rooted in racism, all the other black employees were incredible

The room was really tiny for a king suite $35 for valet and $25 for self park is absolutely unacceptable, should have a free option of some kind Restaurant/bar wasn’t openPretty clean, location is best in city, rooftop deck was nice Very, very comfy bed Shower was awesome Modern Security was great, felt quite safe Internet was pretty quick Very clean area

This is a great hotel that just went under a complete makeover 100% top to bottomThe rooms are first class very clean with all new furniture, large soft towels and most importantly very quiet / safeJosh at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure guest are taken care of

Jean S was a pleasure to work with as wellI travel 150+ days a year so I recognize top quality when I see itThis hotel has it 👍👍

Chris Wood

Where do I start?

After their remodel, they’re now insanely expensive They’ve gone “TRENDY” Whats that mean, you ask? It means; no garbage cans in bathroom, or any real cans anywhere SUICIDALLY dark lighting in the rooms, but don’t worry, you’ll probably concuss yourself on the bathroom door because it blocks the hallway before you can slit yourself you have to close it to get out NO TABLES OF ANY KIND IN THE BATHROOM I had to put up the ironing board to set my stuff on God help you if you’re a female No towel racks because trendy things are trendyOH and if you can figure out how to set their trendy ac unit so it doesn’t blow hot air in the summer, you belong in MENSA Bathtub dirty, fridge iced over etc etcBOTTOM LINE; I’ve stayed there 4 or 5 times This is the last

Tarra Smith

The worse experience I have ever had! The management including staff and manager Carmen were not accommodating or willing to assist a large family with several young kids We booked online and when we showed up the hotel was under renovations with “pool” Online it states pool indoors

The manager didn’t even want to speak with me at first kept trying to speak over phone with staffing relay information Then they just kept showing us a websitethat is very difficult to navigate and yes at the very bottom after you reserve it satates “no pool” Staff was rude Staff was unsincerce I would never recommend this hotel!!!! 0/5 stars! Or better yet -5/5

Very clean hotel, very friendly staff The room was immaculate and well maintained The breakfast was exactly what I expected

Hot, and lots of it Plenty of tea options for the tea drinkers, and the coffee was good too The pool room is currently closed due to maintenance issues, which was communicated on the website when I booked the room All in all, a lovely hotel at a great location

Deborah Braughler

A very nice place to stay Not very far from the city and other attractions, but in a quiet location with some lovely food and shops to walk toThe room was very clean

We had a wobbly toilet and the bed was a bit hard But it was such a nice set up we were able to look beyond that The noise factor was minimal too

Ric Rivera

Nice location but hotel needs a lot of maintenance We were very disappointed when pool was closed for repairs and wasn’t notified, leaks coming from the ceiling throughout the public corridor and didn’t see anyone all week trying to address issue The pantry cabinets are in bad shape and had to call to replace towels due to stains

Outdoor grill needs a good cleaning I wanted you like it but was very disappointed

Rude Front Desk Supervisor (Ellen)The hotel charge me an extra $300 for 1 night because they claimed I checked in a day before I really didWhen I called the hotel about this I was called a liar by the front desk supervisor (Ellen) and she told me “I was on camera signing papers and checking in on Friday” I checked in on Saturday and checked out on SundayEllen was very rude and was chuckling when telling me I was lying and I stayed for 2 nights not 1 like I actually did

When I asked for her employee number she then hung up on meI called the hotel back 5 times and was sent to voice-mail every timeI have never been disrespected and treated so poorly by a “professional” establishment, this experience made me feel like the gum stuck on the bottom of someone’s shoe This experience still feels really bad and Ellen hurt my feelingsI didn’t deserved to be treated like that and no one deserves to be treated like thatMy Girlfriend and the organization I was at this hotel with are just as upset about my experian as I am

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in the area

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t be let downVery clean and great service!Easy parking with paid $30 a dayBooked 2 rooms by hotel com A little problems with checkin, but the manager Anthony gave us a great hand We will be back Highly recommended to anyone!

Josiah Kenyon

The hotel is starting to really come together! The new restaurant is open for breakfast (The Factory) and I was very happy with the breakfast bowl and French press – creative and deliciousThe main lobby is gorgeous and open with arguably the best city view you can getThey are still constructing the remainder of the bar/restaurant, so keep that in mind, but over all a really great experience and the staff are all friendly/professional

Latosha Jackson

We have been staying at the Sheraton Station Square for many years I was happy to see the lobby and room/barhroom updates, it was needed The restaurant is still under construction but we rarely ate there when it was open

The shower pressure wasn’t the greatest, but it got us clean The patrons in the halls were loud, but that’s not the hotels fault I didn’t know we weren’t gonna get our room cleaned, but one call and we got new bathroom towels in under 5 minutes The location is convenient and close to lots of things and the views are spectacular We’ve never stayed in an inside room, but this past weekend there were several weddings so I couldn’t image the noise level there

Elana Birnbaum

We stopped here for one night while passing through on a road trip The hotel is brand new and very clean The staff were a delight at both check-in and checkout

The lobby decor is gorgeous and the area is quietThe room however is very tiny and definitely best for one guest The sliding bathroom door offers little privacy The shower was sadly warm at best and also leaked onto the floor The bed was decently comfortable The hotel in general felt very safe to travel to during the pandemic

The ice machines weren’t working so you had to have the front desk get you some from the Cafe The breakfast is made to order and is NOT included with your room cost Coffee and fruit are offered free however

The hot tub was out of order and the pool was too cold for my liking so we didn’t utilize that amenity Also the guest laundry feature was out of order Check out was noon and I was able to have a late checkout til 1pm without extra charge Beautiful back yard with large gas fireplace over looking the river made up for all the other things out of order though Very nice Service from staff was excellent

I am a returning customer and both experiences were great I’ve been traveling for work which requires me in Pittsburgh once or twice a month This hotel is situated nicely close to the office and good restaurants

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful Really one of the best crews I’ve seen Valet is excellent as well The interior is beautiful as you can see by the pictures and the rooms are cleanThe beds are surprisingly the most comfortable I’ve experienced Odd to say that, but it’s true Room service is excellentIt’s great experience overall Now in May I’m attempting to travel with family, so we will see how a toddler does I suppose we will see what it’s like not to have a kitchenetteAlso wheelchair friendly and accessible The sidewalk in Pittsburgh are just ok, but that has nothing to do with the hotel!

Matt Smith

Great location in the Cultural District Staff was super polite and helpful Our room was decent

It was clean and the bed was really comfortable But it is in bad need of an update A couple pieces of furniture showed signs of minor damage, there were multiple holes in the drapes, and there was even a small hole in the fitted sheet on the bed And the chair in the room is terribly uncomfortable None of that would keep me from staying here again, but it will cause me to try a different hotel if available

Tracy Kennedy

For the money you pay the services should have been much better Requested extra towels, they never were delivered Reported that the tub was slow today and we were standing in ankle deep water

It never got fixed The rooms are lovely, the lobby is too, but for half the price you can stay at the Courtyard down the street The location at the Courtyard is a little closer to some fun bars and restaurants The Courtyard is a great property

I don’t normally leave reviews But in this case I just feel it’s so necessary! ALL and I mean ALL the staff were extremely polite and very helpful and accommodating! I really appreciated the valet staff being especially patient with us loading and offering to help! The room was exceptionally clean and even smelled super clean when we walked in It was great having the breakfast and kickback

Also loved the pool and hot tub! Thank you for being the best hotel around!

Vern Rogers

This is a great hotel for people attending a convention It is very convenient and you’ll save a great deal with the free breakfast and the evening snacks The room was clean – it’s nice to stay in a room where the HVAC doesn’t wake you up when it comes on

Some of the rooms have no view and look directly at a wall – but you probably aren’t spending time in the room to enjoy the view The fitness center is small, the pool is decent, and the rooftop deck is great when the weather is niceThe best part was the staff Everyone was professional and helpful I really appreciated Darnell – he does excellent work in the dining areaBefore you leave, make sure you go down to the basement to see the old vaults from the bank that used to occupy the building

K C

Our stay was amazing We had the best time and was a great location So close to everything

The free breakfast and dinner buffet was great also and the free drink vouchers I have to say the front desk had great staff but hands down Nina was so sweet and gave us lots of ideas to do while we were there She definitely went above and beyond her job and amazing She definitely deserves a raise We definitely will be back real soon and can’t wait to stay here again

I used a third-party for purchasing my hotel stay I was visiting my friend for the week and weekend, and the hotel did NOT deliver excellent service I was told the standard king room I requested online had a maintenance problem

The staff would not elaborate about why they couldn’t give me the room, until I had heard it from a manager later during my stay Then while I was there, I stepped in something small on the hotel room floor that looked like chocolate or poop I don’t know I took it to the front desk in a tissue No one did anything when I complained I also had to be in charge of throwing out my own hotel room garbage in front of the door Also all the other hotel rooms had their rooms cleaned while they stayed, but mine was NOT cleaned until we left Their excuse was that their housekeeping was short staffed I’m disappointed in the hotel and the travel website I used to book the room The breakfast was acceptable, but everything else wasn’t Best to go to a hotel that actually LISTENS and cares about excellent customer service Not a good hotel to pass through in Pittsburgh

Paul Martin

Extremely friendly staff Very clean room including the small details other hotels overlook or just do a poor job of cleaningI was an extremely late arrival

After a long day of travel, the front desk employee made check in easy and accommodated my stupid request after I had checked inThe only negative I can think of is a minor complaint at best One driveway is closed It’s not well marked and there is no clear direction on how to access the parking lot but it wasn’t that hard to figure out even though it was a very dark night and well after midnight It may have added two minutes into my arrival time See, minor issueI was here for business When I have to come back to our facility nearby, I will stay here again

Rosemarie Smith

I called several weeks in advance to confirm that I needed a handicapped walk in shower The desk person I spoke to said she made a note on our reservation When we arrived we were told no handicapped room was available

For 5 days we did not have the accommodation that we requested and paid for The manager was rude and uncaring of the situation She simply said we don’t look at the notes and that was that!!!Breakfast was good and the other staff was nice

Leah Jennings

We came to Pittsburgh for a family gathering and were disappointed by the hotel on several levels I will begin with the positive which is that the staff was all very friendly and doing a great job of customer service The problems however started from check-in

We had prepaid for a king bed and upon arrival, were informed that our request had been “changed” to two queen beds We protested stating it was not what we had paid for, and after the check-in person conferred with the “manager”, we were told that we would in fact be given a king Once in the room it was apparent that either the bed was actually a queen, or Marriott is confused on what a king sized bed is The bed was small On top of that, although the bathroom was finished well, the water pressure was super light and made it difficult to even rinse shampoo out of my hairThe trip was for 4 nights and we were disappointed to find that there was no bar for the evenings or any food offerings beyond snacks outside of the morning breakfast bar Although very tasty, the items were expensive and more “to go” style breakfast sandwiches The website promotes dinner and bar options but we were surprised to find after check-in that those are no longer being offeredThe last issue I had may seem petty but I felt it needed to be said There was one bottled water in the room that sat with the coffee maker, and I realized after checking out that we received a bill for $250 for that water Nowhere in the room did it state that there was a charge for that bottle, and for a nearly $70000 4-night stay I found that to be absurdOverall the experience was lackluster and not what we have come to expect from Courtyard hotels It was like a ghost-town lacking any amenities but certainly not lacking a substantial price tag for a small bed in a noisy room up against two highly traveled roadsIf the hotel has decided to abandon the quality measures that they once offered, they need to update the website accordingly

Michael Kelly

Very Clean room and functional space Danny helped us with our check in But our bartender Mark literally made our experience 10/10

Mark was absolutely fantastic Made our drinks perfect he said he was helping out great service Omg the burger was so good Nice presentation I will definitely be back and I will tell all my friends and family to stay here

Carol M

This was a terrific hotel! Great service and terrific staff all around Rooms are very nice and is in a great location! Restaurants, stores, movie theater are within walking distance the shuttle driver Danny so polite He got in and out of the van always got the door for us I had a wonderful 3 Days at the Courtyard Pittsburgh! I’ll definitely be back!!!

BEWARE ABOUT PARKING!I was extremely upset that I was not informed that this hotel doesn’t offer on-site self-parking or valetI drove around the block of the downtown building three times, trying to find the parking lot or valet stand in the rain during rush hour until I called and was informed that there is no parking and to use the public garage off-site; two blocks awayBeing unfamiliar with the city, I unfortunately parked in the wrong garage, even further away, and had to haul multiple heavy bags to the hotel in the pouring rain, four blocks away

The unacceptable parking situation was not disclosed in any of my reservation emails, and I did not receive a courtesy call/message before my arrival informing me where I should park my carNot knowing this information ahead of time made my welcoming stay extremely unpleasant, especially when it was pouring rain and I had dinner reservations right after I checked inI now understand that the hotel does disclose the off-site parking, buried in the app under “what to expect”, then tapping “parking & transit,” then tapping “parking” Even with this, the hotel doesn’t share detailed parking information As this is very uncommon, for a hotel not to have parking or valet, this hotel needs to be upfront about it on the reservation page and send emails, calls/messages informing guests before their arrivalNot to mention, from the nearest garage, you need to walk down a dark stone/brick alleyway, which is not fun/safe, especially at night, as it’s an uneven surface on both the street and the tiny sidewalkIv never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have on-site self or valet parking available If I had known this, I would have never booked this hotel as I needed quick (and dry) access to my carOn the bright side, the room was clean & comfortable, even with the small entryway, which made bringing in multiple big bags a bit annoying

Hotel has been updated but rooms our consulting team were given under the government rate were the size of a postage stamp Parking was 2 blocks away One of our team members who drove there had a truck that wouldn’t fit in garage

Good news, hotel management let him park in employee parking Bad news, that was also size of postage stamp Very few extra amenities Although front desk staff was friendly they weren’t well trained Our reservations were held under our program managers name and we asked numerous times to place the stay under our names and Bonvoy accounts after we arrived They never did it correctly and now we are trying get credit through Bonvoy for our stays We will be staying at another hotel when we return for follow up meetings

Very noisy with poor soundproofing right next to huge motorway $28 offsite parking a few blocks away, no security at this place Hotel looks recently refurbished in general but cleanliness could be improved, there was a lot of dust in every corner even if most surfaces were cleaned and the bed linens were clean

When requesting a crib for an infant, which we had confirmed in advance existed, we got an unopened box with a foldable crib which we were expected to unpack and assemble by ourselvesElectricity plug socket not securely attached to the wall creating hazard for childrenA lot of really friendly body builders hang out in the hotel

First time staying at the William Penn Lovely, historical downtown area Hotel is very elegant, quite the visual experience! Very quiet, classy atmosphere

Staff was excellent: front desk, valet, bellman, waiters Prompt service all around Room was slightly smaller than expected Both public and private areas were very clean and well maintained Should have upgraded to a city view room as our room was a view of the brick walled building very close next door Room was nicely appointed Would have enjoyed a small chandelier in the closet area, instead of a plain ceiling fixture (The public areas boasted stunning chandeliers!) Bed was very comfortable, soft linens Shower had glorious water pressure! Bath towels were very clean, but stiff Window shades provided excellent blackout for a nice sleep-in of a morning Brunch in The Terrace Room was excellent Nice variety of foods available, excellent waitstaff Beautiful furnishings Disappointed that The Speakeasy closed at 11:00PM on a Saturday night Would have enjoyed a nightcap after our Broadway show Within walking distance of many popular restaurants and venues Felt very safe here Key card entry required for elevators Highly recommend this lovely hotel and would stay again with an upgraded city view room

Lovely, historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh Ron Gilbert, the Restaurant Manager, was very attentive to my autistic son’s food and other special needs and was so pleasant — he even stopped by our table to say hello Housekeeping very nice, although it seems you have to make a special request to have your room and beds made up

Sam (that’s a lady!) who took care of our room for several days was attentive to our every need and always asked me what we needed She even taught me how to use that little clothesline in the bathroom! Views aren’t great in some rooms I think you really have to make a special request way in advance to get a better view, which we have in the past All rooms have refrigerators and we were able to get a microwave which was useful Everyone was pleasant and helpful All in all, a very nice stay

Very beautiful hotel The staff were amazing, so kind and quick to help out with everything Loved that they had valet parking

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and spacious The beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water I would have liked to see a few water bottles in the room given the cost but that is not a huge issue It was conveniently close to everything downtown, we stayed for the Pittsburgh marathon The staff were even kind enough to store our luggage after we checked out for a few hours until we were ready to leave the city Overall it was a great experience and I would easily return anytime and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the Pittsburgh area

While built in the 80’s along with the convention center, our room was comfortable and well maintained I might suggest a splash of color to love Up the dozen shades of beige… the bed is “heavenly”

There could have been a few more plugs People care more electronics than in the 80’s I did notice an odor in the air indicative of a ventilation system in need of cleaning The staff was very friendly in person and by chat The breakfast buffet was decent

Excellent staff Restaurant was, well, a hotel restaurant Located in corporate setting

Clean rooms and pretty big Very modern decor, which I know most hotels are now but, we like the more homey feel Comfy and inviting lobby area 25 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh Location is based on MY personal opinion, not the actual functionality I visited with kids and it was a last minute trip

I literally cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff the whole experience was outstanding The rooms were clean and comfortable

The omelet we had a breakfast was so good and the food we had later at a function was delicious The staff were so friendly and helpful I doubt I’d stay anyplace else ever again when I am in this area Thank you Hilton!!

Janeice Stanley (Janeice)

The service was great 😊 The staff was super friendly, they remembered our names and preferences The staff at the restaurant went above and beyond, it was buffet style breakfast that wasn’t awesome, however they made it worth it Great conversation and service

My biggest complaint is that the hot tub was out of commission and that was one of my deciding factors for choosing this location I will return here though, really enjoyed the stay
