I didn’t like the hotel, there is no free parking, no breakfast, I had to slam the door so it could close every time The shower was clogged up, the pillows were old because they didn’t keep the shape, the light fixture in the bathroom was rusted, the valance on the curtain was falling, furniture was old, bedding was stain They claimed the pool was heated which was not true

Also they don’t have housekeeping If you are used to someone making your bed, getting you clean towels and taking out your trash, this is not the place You have to put your trash outside of your door and ask for everything else you might need but they didn’t tell us that when we checked in To top it all off they don’t have late check out We paid a lot of money and it was not worth the price in my opinion I paid nearly $1,800 for 2 rooms for 5 nights and they couldn’t accommodate for me to check out 1 hour later in one of the rooms It was just 1 hour Some staff were friendly The only good thing about this hotel is LOCATION !!! There is a few hotels around the same area with more amenities so next time I visit I will look somewhere else to stay I feel robbed for the price I paid

Chayla Teske

Didn’t enjoy that we had to pay for parking

$10 per night per car Must have missed that in the description Hotel is a little run down Receptionist was nice A light breakfast would be nice, muffins or something on the goMake sure to put the do not disturb on your door Even though check out is 11am, room service woke us up walking into our room around 830 Doors have large gaps at the bottom so we could hear everything going on in the hallway Kids running, the ice machine running We woke up a few times because of noise in the hallwayThe only plus about this hotel is the close approximately to city center Temple square is right there, the tram is across the street, City Creek Mall is a block away

Maxwell Krem

Stayed 4 days Check-in was easy, and all the staff were very friendly There is no complementary breakfast

Bathrooms are a little bit small but functional enoughThe exercise/workout room has treadmill (was very fussy), a couple elliptical machines, and a set of free weights: workout options are a bit limited The room and bathroom were cleaned well enough, however On the positive side, I thought the staff were very responsive, and the hotel is very close to the light rail and the convention center

Pretty good location with easy access from the airport and interstate Staff is friendly and the hotel is generally okay The place is dated and it does show it’s age to some degree

My wife and I stayed two weeks here and it definitely wasn’t the best stay we ever had but it was acceptable They have a standard continental breakfast every day but no waffles or pancakes The rooms are fairly nice but nothing special Our microwave was old and the platter no longer rotated making it hard to evenly warm up food Our fridge didn’t have a freezer section but was cold enough to freeze water unfortunately There is also no temperature adjustment on said fridge The room did have a nice couch, chair, and table to allow for working from the hotel room The hotel internet was acceptable but we did bring a cellular hotspot to work from The bathrooms are small but look okay The shower was cold about half the time so I assume the water heating boilers cannot keep up with the typical demand from the guests Last but not least our sheets were dirty when we got into the room I definitely wouldn’t stay here if you want luxury but it’s cheap and doesn’t have bugs so it’s not all bad

Amber Dailey

Check in went fine Got to our room, it was decent Left for our concert then got back around midnight

Went to go to bed and pulled the sheets down to reveal 3 long hairs and 2 short hairs in my bed Called the front desk and they said they could move us to another room It’s midnight I’m not going to move to another room in the middle of the night after I had already unpacked all my things Had to be demanding that they come and make the bed with new sheets They finally did and I could finally go to bed Also when I finally laid down you could hear someone stomping around upstairs until 3 am I will not stay here again Not just the hair but the fact you can hear others in their rooms The manager gave us $25 off our stay I guess something is better than nothing but we will not be staying here ever again

Gabi German

Customer service: I said “good morning” or “hi” to more than 5 front desk employees and they didn’t say back All of them standing next to a “be kind” sign I found it sarcastic

Good location, easy access to train and restaurants all around itClean and confortable

Jessigail Larsen

It was nice and has a great location If I could review the other customers I would not give a great review because the lobby smelled like pot when we arrived and they had cases of beer out making it feel like they were going to be there a while and we were invading their private party We loved our room and customer service was awesome but we didn’t get good sleep with so many guests making noise all night through the seemingly thin walls

This would probably be a great place if you are a night owl, I really needed my sleep for travel and liked the convenience of this location being downtown

Ryan Saunders

Location is everything here, we were going to a jazz game and were able to just walk there I even had to walk back because you couldn’t take bags into the game, and it only took about 5 minutes walkingThe room was nice and clean

Breakfast was good This was our second time staying here and will most likely will be back in the future

Cee GeeBee

We had a great night here before our flight out of SLC The room was the perfect setup and is really conducive for longer stays There was a kitchenette, a living area, the bedroom, and nice bathroom

Very quiet and adequate breakfast in the morning We’ve had great experiences with the Hyatt brand and would definitely stay at a Hyatt House again!

Queen

We love the anniversary inn! We booked the English Cottage and loved it! The service was excellent the whole time I enjoyed the cookies upon check in, as well as late night snacks brought to the room, excellent prices and you get 2 of everything Breakfast was great too! The room was cute and the tub and shower were very nice

However Everything could have been more cleaner or replaced Such as tub and carpet Everything was well worth the price and we are making a thing every year!

Brandon Patterson

We stayed in the Presidential Suite The fire place was amazing, but is turned off during the summer months The bath tub was huge and awesome, especially the way it turned into a shower

My favorite part was the balcony It was huge and had an amazing view! We have stayed at the Romeo and Juliet and The Egyptian suite, those were also good, but not as cool as the PresidentialA few words for the management The walls are thin so you can hear everything happening in the hallway The breakfast was not that good, but the presentation was great The pillows and the mattress were horrible My wife and I are in our 20’s and slept horribly They need an update to that bedding and that would help a lot Would still come again, but would come more often with a nicer mattress I suggest you bring your own pillow and blankets to be more comfortable

Sean Carter

It’s pricey but it’s a one of a kind experience, at least without going to Vegas Buyer beware though, not all rooms are created equal and I highly suggest touring them before booking Favorites of ours include the ever popular (and easily the coolest room we’ve ever stayed at) Romeo and Juliet, Tuscany, Jungle Cruise, and 49er suite

Romeo’s retreat was fine but Phantom of the Opera wasn’t worth it and happened to be next to the workers office or something and they were quite noisy Breakfast has gotten a bit better over the years but really isn’t worth the price For the money you spend this location could certainly do better as far as breakfast Still, we’ll likely be coming back several times I’m eager to try out treasure island

I have to say that the room was decent except for the noisy neighbors but not too bad The room was comfortable What we had an issue with was breakfast

Breakfast is supposed to be from 7:00 to 10:00am We came down at 8:00am The selection was extremely poor at best and when we asked if they had any more breakfast sandwiches we were told no they were out How can you be out an hour after you put breakfast out? She wasn’t the most pleasant either The juice was empty and never refilled So you had a choice to make your own waffle, an egg patty in a paper bag, bread, or cereal I understand it’s a complementary breakfast, however, running out of food an hour after you begin breakfast is not acceptable We have stayed at other locations all over Wyoming and have never had such a poor breakfast

Hurdy Turdy

it was our first time staying herePros :* Good location, close to a lot of stores, Liquor store and the hospital* Room was spacious & clean* Breakfast was decent not great* Beds were comfortable but not great* Spacious Lobby Area and cleanCons :* We had to wait about 15 minutes for the frond desk Lady to show up at the desk

(there were no signs posted)* Make sure the request a room not close to the elevator it was loud* They were out of coffee for breakfast* the chocolate milk was expired ( we noticed when we checked out and on the way home)* The lobby music was really loud, specially at nightsOverall we are happy with the stay, would stay here again

Sarah Evans

I reserved a room with two queen beds and was given a room with only one king I called and asked for the correct room and was told a new room and then the staff member hung up I did not know if I needed to go down and get new keys, if someone was bringing them up, or if she could change them from her computer

We do to our new room and the key doesn’t work I have to take my exhausted children back down to the front desk to get new keysOn top of that, the carpets are absolutely disgusting; completely covered in stains The entire hotel smells like someone bathed in curry and then rolled around on every single floor I love to eat curry, don’t get me wrong, but this was something elseOverall, I will NEVER stay at a Home2Suite again Worst hotel experience of my life

Although I had read some negative reviews prior to staying here, my wife and I enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with the hotel We were on the first leg of a 3 state anniversary trip and upon arrival we were told we were upgraded to a tower room at no extra charge The room was VERY large and well equipped, a definite upgrade to what I had booked

Older decor throughout the hotel but well done and a change from what we usually stay in when traveling Just a couple of minor suggestions: provide glasses for beverages, only paper coffee cups were available Also, our room had a spacious balcony with a great view of the city but their are no chairs to sit and enjoy it?

susana danso

I used to work here so I sometimes use my benefits to get a room for a day or two with my children as a short getaway Always a great experience and the coffee shop has some of the best soups and salads I’ve ever had We also had the brunch buffet a couple of times and loved it because of the variety they offer

There’s also a gift shop, a lounge coffee bar and indoor/ outdoor swimming pools We usually stay at a tower room but one time we stayed at a garden room and it was beautiful too I highly recommend Little America for your next hotel stay in Salt Lake City

Lisha Redford

I chose this hotel for my one year wedding anniversary with my husband Where the main desk is to check in, is beautiful, but the rooms are a completely different story There were stains all over the floor, the walls were dirty, the heating/air system was dysfunctional, the heating vents were hanging halfway out of the walls, the wallpaper was coming off in certain places

Absolutely no effort to clean this room before we checked in, or keeping up on the maintenance of the room I went to sit in a chair to do my hair and there was a huge red stain on the chair We ended up leaving and not even staying the night If I could give a negative review I would The $100 deposit is absolutely ridiculous, I would expect that amount from a nice hotel but this was disgusting Very disappointed

A pleasant stay at an average hotel Booking at a Holiday Inn Express, I essentially just want a comfortable bed in a clean room This location delivered just that

We were upgraded to the suite, after requesting a top floor room We are IHG members and that ensured our complimentary room upgrade Happy with the quality of the room, it was clean (enough) and very spacious Climate controls worked fantastic – there’s an option for constant fan which is fantastic white noise during the night Bathroom was functional, and the shower was roomy with plenty of hot water and high water pressureOnly things that were negative to this stay is due to the amenities 1) The pool/hot tub area was a battleground of families and children vying for space in the water Also, the water itself smelled rancid and was very slimy 2) the breakfast was mediocre Yes, there was food options presented, but I think I’ve had better quality food served at military chow halls I was really looking forward to both of these features, and was left disappointedOverall, a good value for 3 night weekend stay Would return again!

This was the best experience I have had in awhile when visiting the Salt Lake City area The fact that they had an opening was just the beginning, (last minute reservation on Memorial Day weekend) We arrived about 4:00pm exhausted from the drive and check in was so easy and the staff was very helpful and knew their job🙂

We were offered cold water and a tour , we skipped both We located our room 😄 right across from the pool and fitness center 👏 The room was fresh and bright, clean and well stocked the shower head was amazing (pulse massage 🙃) water pressure was great, towels and shower curtain clean and attractive Coffee maker, refrigerator microwave built-in and out of the way TV remote was clean and undamaged Window was huge and well placed with privacy liners and black out curtains that were in working order The Air conditioner was great and at night the heater came on to keep us toasty and comfortable This location is my new favorite go-to when I visit my family in SLC The next day breakfast was fresh and hot (6-9 AM ) and a good variety of choices ( the only place I’ve found Cranberry juice available) 🙃👏😄 no long lines or unnecessary delays Options for seating in the dining room or your welcome to take it to your room Indoor pool and hot tub (6AM-10PM could have a good cleaning but it wasn’t gross ) was a good way to end a long rainy day, the beds were very nice and the extra pillows were a bonus(6 on each bed)👏 with the thermostat set on auto we all woke up refreshed and well rested For a last minute reservation on a busy Holiday price wasn’t too bad We opted to stay over and at first it was a little confusing as to how it would be billed, 🤨(an extra $100 for incidentals????)🤔🙄 but the clerk informed us of our options and handle everything for us Our deposit was quickly returned (2 hours) upon check out All in All it was a pleasant experience and the service and staff was excellent *****

BumbleB Flow

Staff with attitude, when one goes to work and doesn’t want to be there Projects that failure on others The online site let’s you check in at various times, but the hotel has a policy if 3 pm to 11 am, so mind that

The pool? They stuck a bird bath in an enclosed place Ants crawl the floor from under the sink to the tub, they had plenty of room and may give a better review If your with someone, you will have to take turns to get past the bed If your in a pinch why not but way over valued The staff was the biggest issue Fake smiles, yet body language doesn’t lie After a heart surgery procedure, we had to wait 3 hours to book in, even after we had selected 11 am and got a confirmation and still was 30 minutes late on that Breakfast was a 2 item selection Coffee was horrid Microwave is basically on the floor! If you value a comfortable environment, and pleasant surroundings this place is not for you Bad enough it’s Utah, don’t be lazy

I love the location of the hotel The service was spectacular The front desk and manager were very helpful and constantly making sure that everything was good

I also really enjoyed the atrium The hotel has a lot of great amenities like a Starbucks and a restaurant and a really comfortable giant seating area with a lot of comfortable couches and chairs and ample places to plug in your electronics to charge The pool was nice even though I did not end up using it but I used the fitness center a couple times and it was great The location is very good close to the airport and downtown It is it is definitely a solid four stars The bed was very comfortable in the room was really clean The only reason I would not give it five stars as I felt the rooms themselves were very dated They had kind of an ugly yellowish seventies look and really dim lamps and lighting and I think the rooms are in grave need of upgrading Like I said though they were very comfortable and clean All in all, I would definitely come back

Kaylani Boland

I stayed here about 5 years ago & remember it being pleasant This visit not so much, the front desk was friendly & helpful however there was an attendant walking around the elevators talking about mechanical something or other which made me quite nervous I flat out asked her if we were going to get stuck in the elevator? She said “I think they’re fine but sometimes when they’re at full capacity they can get thrown off” whatever that means? (yikes) I finally asked her to stop talking to us while we waited for the elevator

The decor was super dated, bathrooms were absolutely filthy behind the doors & around toilets, the sofa sleeper also had a brown stain on one cushion I wish I could share photos of our findings We paid $225 each for 2 rooms that my 14 year old twins didn’t even want to shower in because they were noticeably grossI wouldn’t recommend eating here We got the breakfast buffet @ $15 a head & didn’t eat anything but the sealed yogurt & a little fruit Honestly I’ve had better food in hospitalsThis place is overpriced but under delivers…at least we didn’t find any bedbugs :/

Ceanbriana K

The front desk representative Chino was amazing! Very sharp and knew exactly what she was talking about, She helped from when I checked in to my check out day!! She was always willing to help and was always happy and positive!! The housekeeping on the other hand was not so great, I had requested service the night before the day I needed it, and I was gone for the whole day when I returned my room was still dirty, which I understand them being very busy, but when I asked them to clean it they took about 25 minutes and when I went back into my room it was still dirty and bathroom was clearly skipped, the only thing that they did was restock my towels, which I was grateful for but why did it take 25 minutes? When nothing was cleaned? I was a housekeeper for 4 years and I know what is supposed to be done, very disappointed with the housekeeping service, The breakfast chef was amazing!! And was always smiling and was very helpful! She made great omelets! Very pleased with the food!

Not a 4 star hotel, but is nice and conveniently located downtown Their lock system for the doors to the rooms is very problematic I would not stay here again based on that alone

I had to have my key reset 4 times and some friends we were staying with got locked out of their room when they went to get ice The breakfast buffet looked really nice, but costs $20 The towels are extra long and the beds are comfortable I think the beds at Holiday Inn Express are better, but they are still nice I really enjoyed the hot tub The pool is a little on the small side, but it was a perfect temp and clean Overall, if it would not have been for the door issues, I would give this hotel 5 stars

Melanie Stam

The room was alright The bed was soft The problem we had was communicating with staff as is when we went down for breakfast the employee said it was a buffet and showed us in

We got the continental breakfast and sat down with our plates We just started eating when that same employee who showed us in came up and asked us for a voucher for breakfast We didn’t know what he was talking about so he said we had to pay We already got out plates of food so we paid Our bill was $43 for a continental breakfast for 2 people It was insane I feel like continental breakfast is nice it’s not the best breakfast but you put up with it because it is free They should honestly feel embarrassed but the cost of that garbage Oh And the cost of that room was absolutely not worth it We paid almost $500 for 2 rooms with a joining door for 1 nightYou can do better

Christie Cook

This is definitely the place to stay to be close to everything! From our hotel we walked to the Gateway, Farmer’s Market, and City Creek! The rooms were clean and comfortable They offer underground parking for $22/day which is a bit steepThey upgraded our room because they ran out of regular king rooms, so that was an added bonus!

If you plan on staying more than a few days, be prepared Getting things like towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc, is quite difficult You get a lot of pushback from the front desk and hand ringing when it is not done

Also, I stayed in one room on one side of the bed After nearly 2 weeks, I pulled back the other side of the bed and found a quarter size blood stain on the sheets I was given another room and told the manager would contact me, which never happened The room itself is very nice, as are the amenities The gym is top-notch and the wet area is above average The elevator buttons are tricky and the common areas that include hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels are often empty Just about every day, there was trash or crumbs in most of the common areas Lastly, the “bistro” is useless They are always out of anything other than pastries and overpriced and burnt coffee The location is superior and salt lake City is an incredibly clean and well thought out city As for this hotel, you could certainly do worse but could certainly do better Two out of five stars This could easily be a 5 out of 5 hotel with better staff and management

Tammie Madsen

The hotel was clean and pretty however there is no parking for the hotel so you have to pay an additional $20 per vehicle for the public parking Additionally, the “free” breakfast is cereal Nothing else

You have to pay for the milk for the cereal They do have fruit and muffins at an additional fee but they claim to have a free continental breakfast which is boxed cereal We came over the weekend with kiddos and got 2 rooms which were well over $500 per night and were hit with additional charges for basic hotel parking and a measly breakfast Hyatt House is right next door and we think the better, cheaper option

Heidi Zarda

I stayed at this courtyard a week ago and had an issue and still haven’t heard from a manager I didn’t realize til the next morning of my stay that the shower had not been cleaned, complete with a lot of hair and a used hand towel There was also dried lotion on the sink, which made me wonder if that had not been cleaned either

I told the front desk when I checked out and showed her pictures and I asked her to tell the manager, he was not in at the time 3 days after with not hearing from management, I called and left a voicemail It’s been 6 days without any contact from management to try and rectify this situation Accidents happen, but I’m more disappointed that management doesn’t care enough to reach out to a customer to rectify a poor experience I travel to SLC often for work and I will be choosing a different hotel from now on

Ended up staying here for a week The staff is super friendly, especially Paul! He was very helpful, professional and just a great guy! They are pet friendly too! Surrounding area of the hotel doesn’t provide much grass but there’s plenty of areas to walk your pet with the nearby propertiesHad a hot breakfast every morning with decent variety

From eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon to a mini waffle maker to muffins and bagels/bread Cereal and yogurt too! Plenty of good restaurants nearby and a couple of barsThe rooms are clean and comfortable The sink is outside of the bathroom which wasn’t a big deal to me Rooms come with a fridge and a microwave Would definitely stay here again They were great!

We paid for a king sized suite… the shower was barely comfortable for one person and the plug for the tub was just sitting on the side of the tub Our flat screen tv was quite small, you couldn’t really see it very well from the bed due to how small it was Honestly, there was nothing different from a regular king bed compared to what I had for king suites at other Comfort Inns

I was quite disappointed and had I known that was what the suite would be I would have chosen to save the amount to upgrade and just gotten a normal king bed, not the suite The room in general felt like it really needed to be updated, except for the mattress, the mattress was the only thing that felt suite like in our roomThe staff was pretty good and friendly though, I appreciated their work And I loved having check out be noon instead of the traditional 11am Everything also appeared to be decently clean as well, I feel like the staff cared but our room definitely needed an update and to not be considered a suite

Extremely dirty Everywhere not just the room Our sheets were not clean

Literally stains in the pillow and sheets The pool was dark poorly little the plastic covering for the roof had a huge hole It was freezing and raining in the pool We will never stay at a Comfort Inn again Not the first poor experience we’ve had Do not stay here Unsanitary

Bed was comfortable everything was new and clean we definitely would stay again

The hotel and room it’s self aren’t bad, it’s just sketchy They have an extra $100 deposit fee at check-in which I didn’t see posted anywhere but right on the front desk Cool, we paid that and stayed there for 3 nights

The last night we came back to the hotel a little late and after making it all the way up to our floor and room, the keys wouldn’t work We went back to the front desk and they acted like they didn’t know we were in that room still and we had to argue with them for the keys to be reprogrammed since they had shut them off All of our stuff still in the room, and they were trying to deny us access to the only beds we have at 1 in the morning Over $400 for our stay (not including the $100 deposit) and I’m in shock because I’ve never even heard of a hotel doing this I planned to come back and use this hotel often, but not after this incident This made me feel really unsafe, and really unsure about being able to leave my items in the room when I leave to do things If they’re going to cut off my access to the room, who may have had access in between?

We booked through a reputable third party service and the staff told us there were no rooms available when we arrived Multiple other people in the lobby who booked through other services were also told their rooms were oversoldWe requested a refund and were told that we need to get one through the third party service

Then we asked if we could get documentation from them stating they didn’t have a room available to provide as evidence in order to get our refund The immediate response to this was “I don’t have anything to give you”When new guests showed up to check in, the front desk person proceeded to tell us to sit down instead of helping us resolve our issue We were repeatedly brushed off when we asked for updates I realize the staff member was dealing with a stressful situation but she was unnecessarily rude I can’t speak to the quality of the hotel itself but the customer service left something to be desired

This is an older Hampton Inn It desperately needs some attention Not in the best part of town

No refrigerator or microwave in the room as normal in many Hilton properties I was scheduled to stay for 4 nights I moved to another much better Hilton property for the same rate downtownI would recommend this place only if you need a room to sleep in or it is ski season and the rate was good Definitely better hotels in Salt Lake City to stay in

Absolutely horrible customer service! An older woman’s husband was dying in the hospital and the hotel wouldn’t allow her to extend their reservation because he wasn’t at the hotel – in person! How in the world would he be able to do that? The woman offered to pay cash but the front counter shooed her away When she asked if he wanted her to sleep in her car, he just shrugged Appalling customer service

All staff were the same None seemed to like their jobs and several talked badly about new management DO NOT stay at this hotel

E. Jeffrey Hill

Because my wife is allergic to dogs and there were no rooms for her at this hotel because ALL rooms are pet friendly We asked to change rooms, no dice

even though the parking lot was basically empty We asked for a refund, no dice because we paid ahead I have stayed at Hilton properties for 40 years This has never happened before, and I hope it never happens again Or I may move to Marriott!

The front desk staff are so friendly and professional and made my stay as comfortable as they could possibly can The suites are spacious clean and comfortable I haven’t tried out the Elements restaurant as it was closed the whole time we were there, but the complimentary breakfast and meals were great

Thank you for everything Luse and West Valley City Embassy! Will definitely visit you again❤️

Hotel amenities in the room are substandard Several of the light switches in our room didn’t work The TV in the main room didn’t work either

It turned on but only displayed “PHILIPS” throughout our stay (3 nights) The sofabed was completely broken, kids had to sleep on the floor The saving grace for this place was that the hotel staff were extremely helpful and very customer oriented They offered us a second room, at no charge, but can’t accept having half the family sleep in a total separate floor & room We traveled with 2 minors I would stay at this place again if they updated/upgraded their room furnishings The view was awesome though 😀

Bad Room ExperienceI made a reservation a night before my wedding in March 2022 with my 2 kids so we can get ready the next day close to the reception I checked in at 1am, they were friendly Once we were going to bed the Bed sheets were yellow! Disgusting! I called front desk, they apologized and offer to give me another room in the same floor

My kids and I packed and moved We checked the Bed sheets before unpacking and same thing Yellow!I called front desk and they offer another room in the same floor again but this time the Front desk lady went to check the sheets and Yes Yellow again!!So front desk and the security went to get clean sheets, at this time it was 3am!! We had to be up at 6am to get ready for my wedding, we were super tired!!Front desk said they will discount my stay but unfortunately they didn’tVery disappointing to Pay this price for a suit and get a dirty bed! I just hate a night before my wedding me as the Bride and my little kids had to go through this so late In the nightAt least the Breakfast was good!

I’ve only stayed at this hotel when I traveled to Salt Lake City It’s located right across the street from the convention center and a short walk from a bunch of restaurants The other added bonus is that it is connected to the City Creek Mall

The staff here is extremely friendly and very helpful The rooms themselves are pretty nice The shower looks like it was updated since the last time I was there Amenities are great and you also get a mini fridge in your room The wait for elevators isn’t too bad, even when it seems like the hotel is that capacity They have pretty good size tables in a lobby so you can eat a meal down there if you would likeThey also have Starbucks on site, with mobile ordering so it’s great to just order your coffee and take an elevator ride down to pick it upOverall a great hotel that is located pretty centrally from everything!

This hotel is in a perfect location Once you arrive, you have two options for parking on the premises: valet or the parking garage I chose the parking garage and it was $20 for 24 hours

The check in process was very prompt and I was in my room with the city view in no time The room is a bit tight, but once you get settled in you will be comfortable The beds were very comfortable along with a wonderful set of pillows The bathroom was also a bit cramped Everything in the room was spotless! Overall, the stay was very pleasant

Bottom line: Platinum, Titanium, Ambassador Members beware if you have long standard amenity expectations The lounge remains closed, no real reason for that, at this point except they are being cheap Also hotel management has just recently removed hot breakfast as a standard amenity, I hope you like a bowl of cold cereal or other starches you can have that for free with your “Continental Breakfast”

If you want a single slice of bacon or basically anything hot, it is an extra $7 per person None of the staff I spoke with support the policy and I would say the staff were absolutely great The room was clean, the bed was comfortable , and the view was great Parking is $20 no matter what your status is So, for those of you who care about long standard amenities which you have come to expect, carefully evaluate your choices when booking this hotel in Salt Lake, there are lots of other places just around the block I’ll be back when management gets their stuff together Again the rest of the staff was absolutely great

This hotel was amazing! As a snowboarder, it felt like it was made for me with the in-room snowboard/ski racks The rooms are modern and very clean The staff was very friendly and welcoming

The rooftop patio is very comfortable and the building itself has a really unique feel to it It is a work in progress, but it was an amazing place as is The snowboard/ski shops, the skate park, and the art gallery all under the same roof was amazingly convenient I can’t wait to come back when it’s completely finished!

This is an amazing space and concept Stitching together one of the best retailers in the outdoor space with a rad hotel and many yet to come experiences (skate park, climbing gym, bar, restaurant and more) within this breathtakingly renovated old building is an experience like no other While there were still a few kinks to work out, we stayed during their soft launch, you totally get where this is headed

Beds were comfy Rooms are cozy Art throughout the space is terrific My daughter really enjoyed the skate park and can’t wait to comeback and use the climbing gym

Jeremy Matherly

I really enjoyed my stay at evo Hotel in February The location is very convenient It took me only10 minutes to get to evo Hotel from the airport and when I went snowboarding at Woodward Park City it was a mellow 25 minute commute

Be sure to check out Ruby Snap cookies that is only 2 blocks away (with Roots Coffee shop directly next door) or take a 5 minute stroll north to Rose Establishment for a delicious breakfast The evo Hotel building is beautiful and features really cool artwork throughout There are large murals in the common areas and each hotel room features a different artist There is even a QR code on the door to each room that directs you to information about the featured artist The hotel shares space with outdoor equipment shops (evo), a skatepark and a climbing gym There are 2 outdoor patio areas with fire pits and a great view of the mountains During my week long stay the site was still not 100% open I was told that coming soon there will be an in-house bar, restaurant and coffee bar on site The staff were very friendly and fun to chat with My room was clean (basically brand new) and cozy with a private patio and view of the city and mountains I’ll definitely be coming back

Room was very clean, I love the absence of carpet! Bathroom is of a good size, and given that it is in Downtown, room size is adequate Beds were comfortable, but not amazingBig problem was the AC, which just didn’t get to temperature all night

Our entire family was uncomfortable all night I did love that the window could be opened, but it was too warm outside for that to be helpful to usService was friendly and helpfulHotel is suffering from a seizure when it comes to cosmetic updates Part traditional, part farmhouse?! It didn’t work at all Doors and paneling the hotel are not in great shape

A beautiful, clean, great location hotel I was in Salt Lake for a conference and this Marriott is a quick walk to the Salt Palace, lots of restaurants and shoppingMy room was big and spacious, exceptionally clean and well cared for by friendly staff

Great big bathroom with full size shampoo/conditioner/body washRoom service breakfast is a bit pricey but still tasty, and the restaurant downstairs has a great menu and friendly staffAbsolutely would stay here again Thank you to the staff!

Michael Mayo

Excellent location and staff! The highlight of my four night stay was the room service received from Juan He went above and beyond to showcase the meals, had an excellent attitude, and made it an experience I won’t soon forget Having worked in the hospitality industry, he stuck out as someone that genuinely cares about his guests, his craft, and the place he works for

Looking forward to my next stay here!
