If you’re like me, the quality of a hotel’s fitness center is one of the distinguishing factors in selecting it The newly-renovated fitness center at this hotel exceeded my expectations and is orders of magnitude better than any other hotel I’ve ever visited It spans three rooms and contains a wide selection of dumbbells, cable machines, treadmills, suspension trainers, weighted balls, and mats

I’ll definitely be staying here for my next visit

David Lund

I was not expecting excellent service during our stay due to previous courtyard experiences but I was blown away Check-in went very well and our room was clean There was an issue during our stay with the fridge not cooling and the front desk staff offered to switch them out

Unfortunately, my son’s pedialyte was taken with the fridge and this was brought to the front desk who offered to replace it We were just overall happy with our stay even though we were in Palmdale/Lancaster for a funeral

Very clean room Had minimal contact with employees (no need to) they were very sweet and welcoming when I did The pool is small but was perfect for my kids to play in ,no one else was there

No jacuzzi wasn’t an issue for us The breakfast options were not as some I’ve been to but good none the less The walls are thinner then I assumed while it wasn’t a problem at night in the hall way you can hear and our neighbors were enjoying the morning! (Again good for them ) didn’t bother me as I only herd anything when passing in the walk way Not through the room walls

Trevor B

The staff is excellent and friendly Rooms are set up efficiently and come with a microwave, refrigerator, and pantry A shower and tub were in every room I’ve stayed in

Everything was clean Highway noise can be an issue at this location but was not something that usually bothered me If you need easy access to the freeway with many food options, this is probably one of your better betsThe only thing I wish was different about the rooms is some sort of different wall decor This photo seems to be in every single room! Sometimes I want to see something different than Joshua trees

Tiya Basilio

We were at the hospital late with my father in town; so we called ahead to reserve a room since we’d be coming in late The lady on the phone said she accidentally canceled the info I gave her and asked for the info again No problem

She told us we were all set We get there and they said they had no reservation for us Now, apparently the cost is higher So not only did they not make our reservation when we called, we then had to pay more for that mistake Apparently the room was now $20 more expensive than the ten minutes before and conveniently there’s no mention of the $10 parking fee at booking Our room was okay but could be better The larger suite rooms are preferable to what we got but that’s all they had Our room had a tv that did not work It kept asking us to load the channels So we just went to bed We could hear the people walking upstairs and the alarm was cheap and unusable

Wasn’t worth the price This place is in desperate need of an upgrade The furniture is old and dirty

All of the faucets are stripped so they constantly dripThe carpet is torn and dirty There are locals that stay long term here, which they were all very pleasant, but I assume that whoever the owner is of this place may think an upgrade is not worth the investment because of the long termguestsI paid for this type of room so that I could save money on buying food however there were no basic cooking utensils, there was only a boiler and a strainer No frying pan , spatula, nothing The bathroom Wasn’t cleaned well behind the previous guests and it was forbidden for me to ask for cleaning service more than once my entire stay Please do not ask for extra towels past closing of housekeeping that annoys the front desk staff The breakfast was okon the last day we stayed the other days the food combinations didn’t make sense Powder eggs with what I think was soy sausage patties or maybe veggie pattiesMy ultimate review is if you have a family that you are traveling with and u wish to stay in this type place bring the following items on your own Cleaning products, cooking utensils, extra towels, sanitizing wipes, shower shoes and extra cash for incidentals I ended up spending more than what I thought I was saving for

Recently my wife and I were visiting our two friends who have been staying at the Staybridge Suites in Palmdale They’ve been there for an extended period and know the amenities well They have remarked how nice the rooms are and how clean it is from the Rooms to the Pool area

There is free Continental breakfast and evening Appetizers Rooms have a small kitchen area and clothes washing downstairs Lots of available parking and near the Freeway Highly recommended

Alex Volberding

I stayed in this hotel for 3 months back in 2017 and it was Amazing Back then 5 stars This time with Covid restrictions in place the hotel has lost all of its best features like the dinner meals and breakfast as both have gone to a bare minimum

To top it all off I found cockroaches in my room on two separate occasions The staff could not move my room the first time (understandably as the hotel was Packed) The second time was less than a week after they said MX would spray my room and it wouldn’t be a problem again This time they moved my room, but I’ve had enough and changed hotels for the rest of my stay

We stayed here last year for a softball tournament and it was very nice I’m sure that having so many kids was very tough on the staff, but they were amazing I’m writing this now because I just noticed a problem with my reservation for this years softball tournament which is coming up next month

In seconds, Heather was able to fix what I had been struggling with online What a huge relief and she made it seem so effortless Another great great interaction with the staff at this hotel

Wow wow wow! My family came from all over this past weekend for one of our family members funeral and we experienced such kindness We weren’t there for long but we got to know the staff on a personal level and they offered us things and we’re so patient with my loud family Shawn was amazing, kind, funny, helpful and even took some time to take a family picture for us, which is so huge for us

Clara welcomed us in the mornings, kind, listened to us talk, talked to us about her dogs and was so nice Many more staff members were just this and more This was such an amazing experience, especially in such a time of grief The rooms were amazing and so comfortable Keep up the awesome work!

Renee Williams

Service great fro The moment you walk in Room not spotless clean

Was suppose to have 2Qn and sofa bed Got just 2 Qn Luckily my other kid, teenager, didn’t come or we wouldn’t have had enough space Didn’t get any credit back for getting a down graded roomBreakfast was ehh, but it complimentary Coffee, tea, juice and fruit a plenty Nice facility overall

Cecilia Cordova

The location is central to many things The rooms are clean The staff friendly and always willing to help (except one girl gave me wrong info with an attitude)

Nice kitchen amenities Sufficient FREE continental breakfast I like the new way of providing bottled shampoo dispensing and huge blow dryer The towels are softer than Stateline, NV hotels Modern TV streaming Parking is ok except when these workers with huge trucks stay here They sometimes take up 2 spaces The freeway close by to easily hop on and navigate thru city Sometimes that brings a homeless thru trying to sell bottled water If I was on vacation I would stay here

All ALL dishes are guaranteed to be in the dishwasher when you check in and each time room service “cleans” your room

I have had coffee in my room on arrival 50% of the time now It’s the worst to find out at 5am Trash bags not replaced as well Previous review about staff not addressing dishes was acknowledged a couple weeks ago No change The fence around the pool is about 10% covered in gnarly rustThis, unfortunately, is not what I was expecting from a Hilton Brand

Starr Parmley

Working for Erickson Air-Crane we work at the airport frequently and sample different hotels in the area to find the best support Here we have: Great building and excellent rooms Front desk staff is sharp, courteous and accommodating

The room service never puts dishes away every single piece of cutlery and flatware is in the dishwasher every time Coffee and cream refill has been frequently forgotten in-room Breakfast staff is spotty one server doesn’t like to put out the real flatware it seems so you are forced to use single use cheap Styrofoam and tacky plastic I bring the crew here because of small details that make you feel at home like a real coffe cup, fork and plate Seemingly not by chance, it is the same days that breakfast runs out of food with a small (5′) wait to eat This is a trend among other Homewood suites as well I assume that breakfast staff is underappreciated or underpaid/motivated franchise-wide? The location is clean and feels cozy Also, walking distance to food, entertainment, office max and a few other big box stores A nice Italian restaurant and steakhouse stand-out IMax and the baseball/softball field are very close Again, front desk staff are top drawer and go out of their way to accommodate special requests The outside pool and grill are lovely

Aleera DoBlah

This place seemed more like an apartment then a hotel they didn’t have extra blankets we had to go to Walmart to buy some

the heater smelled like smoke chairs and walls were messed up sinking in and gross the kitchen sink leaked into a trash can and like full on water leak not a drip full on outside trash can in the hall ways I do not recommend this place

Everything was wonderful The room, the hot shower, the coffee in the room, the beauty and cleanliness of the room, the breakfast, the fast way to check in and out

nice place to jog outside of the hotel It is in walking distance to all the restaurants, movie theater, nice stores to shop tooclose to the freeway The service is excellent

Stan Axe

The hotel was very nice but the price for the room was not what I was quoted ($17500) Ask or watch out for the extra charges Transient occupancy tax ($17

50), City tourism tax ($350) Guest parking ($1000) The refrigerator didn’t work in the room Had to throw out almost $20 in cheeses and beef stick The pool was dirty And not even a continental breakfast for no charge

Barbie Johnson

Horrible! The only good thing is the Lobby and staff were nice Bad smell on the 4th floor and also in my room #426 My Brother-in-law made me check out the afternoon after my first night when I showed him what appeared next to my car overnight in the Hilton front parking lot (see photo)

Two homeless asleep on pallets with all their belongingsThey don’t refund for last minute cancellations so had to eat the $20273 second night! DO NOT STAY! Yep close to mall, but not well maintained and homeless encampment in their parking near the hotel entrance!

Very nice and friendly place to stay! I have had nothing but good experiences during my extended stay here House keeping came on the days I scheduled and always did a great job There was always stuff for breakfast for me to grab on my way out early in the morning before scheduled breakfast time (not the main breakfast food but like bagels/muffins/yogurt)

When I talked to the manager Christain about a 2 room suite when my family was coming to visit he found one I could move into in the time period I needed! The receptionist helped get me into that room and got me a crib and everything! I am very happy with my stay here The rooms are very nice and I loved the little kitchens they provided and the full oven in the 2 bedroom! Allows me to not spend a ton eating out especially with the family here! I highly recommend the Residence Inn for anyone staying in the area! Thank you Christain and the team for all the help and great attitude everytime we walk through the door

Update: Stayed here again

and again, great service This is now our preferred hotel when visiting PalmdaleA great experience so far Christian greeting us with a fabulous check in experience assuring us that measures had been put in place to make sure our stay was safe I was pleased to hear all the things the property had done and my mind was put at ease We were in a 2 bedroom suite Very spacious and clean Would definitely stay here again!

Well maintained RI property, with limited daily breakfast and evening snacks several nights a weekClose to the 14 freeway and nearby to several restaurants and retail outletsSome rooms even boast an inspiring view of Home Depot to remind you of all the home maintenance you can avoid while staying with Marriott

Staff are personable but may not manage to attend to all requests, so don’t get your hopes upAlso, be aware that the property accepts pets, all of which do not understand that you can certainly hear them barking at all hours of the day and night

Don’t know what the plus is at this Best Western The room was mediocre, stocked with 2 halves of rolls of toilet paper, the attendant told me the “gym” does not open until 8am, the breakfast was disgusting, we asked for a late checkout which was 11:30 am by their standard even though they had very minimal booking judging by the 10 vehicles parked in the lot However, the maid came into our room at 8:10 to see if we had checked out yet, and again at 11:12am to ask us if we were going to checkout

We informed her we requested a late check out the night before, and we would checkout then She said they had no record of this and as we were exiting at 11:25am the front desk attendee was walking up to our room presumably to ask us to leave When she saw us leaving she acted as if she was walking down the hallway, and as we were exiting the elevator down stairs we then saw her coming down the stairs to the desk What a crummy stay, at a crummy property, and thanks for making us feel like we were in communist Cuba The area is ghetto and the motel was not even close to what a Best Western Plus should be However, the worst part were the staff I guess the Plus means we kick you out by 11am, don’t record a requested “late” 11:30am checkout, come into your room at 8:10am, sweat you to leave before your check out, and send additional staff to your room tomake sure you leave so you can feel like a criminal Garbage staff, at a garage area, and the property was only mediocre

We stayed for three nights and the mattress was absolutely horrible My back hurt every morning I wanted to extend my stay since I extended my trip, but I couldn’t bear sleeping on that mattress another night

When I checked out, I mentioned it to the woman that assisted me but she seemed very non-chalant about it I really hope they invest in some better mattresses

Stayed 3 nights for work rooms are big, very clean, bed very comfortable with plenty of good quality pillows, new sheets and towels Refrigerator microwave and single cup coffee maker Can not say enough good things about the front desk employees

10/10 They have free breakfast everyorning, work timing did not allow me to enjoy, but I’m sure it was great The hotel is clean pool area clean Security in parking lot at night Single female and always felt safe Room service daily Will be back forsure!! Thank you everyone for the hard work you take pride in it shows and is much appreciated!!

On 5/4/22 I tried calling and I spoke very kindly to a young lady at the front desk to speak to a manager about strange charges on my son’s credit card after being a guest There was a $185 charge and a $71400 charge

He had 1 day and came back and stayed 2 days Those charges were taken out already The young lady was very short with me told me to call back the next day for a manager I did This time the same young lady said she was a supervisor I asked her about the charges She said there was stains on 2 large towels and 2 wash cloths that were not going to come out, so they charged $185 Wow! I asked her why was the towels so high? Then she told me she didn’t see a $71400 extra charge at all But as she was speaking she was talking very fast and very rude She told me they can charge as much as they wanted at Best Western for 4 towels She told me that she didn’t have to explain anything, and that she didn’t know why $714 was charged on his card I asked her to please slow down and to explain it to me clearly Because she sounded angry and was talking very fast again Like she didn’t want to assist She started acting more irrational and started yelling at meAt this point I was frustrated at her behavior, but I wasn’t going to stoop to her level I told her that she was rude and she needed to practice better customer service I asked for her name, and she hung up the phone in my face I was shocked I’ve never experienced such bad customer service No patience Lying about fraudulent chargers and who she is Would not give her name As well the lack of customer care and attention to assist me If this was her credit card she would be concerned and would like the hotel to help her! I think there is fraudulent activity and poor service at this hotel and this needs to be addressed! I have been a business owner for years I have several employees I would never allow them to address customers this way And if fraudulent activity is being asked about this should be taken care of swiftly I’ve traveled and stayed in many hotels, and I have never experienced anything like this! Myself our my family would never stay here again!

Mary Oliver

Hotel was disgusting! Our room was not clean the carpet was wet when we arrived Pillows and blankets had stains on them My daughter threw up on the bed which we had asked for new blankets so I could clean up the little amount of throw up

They gave us a bag to put the dirty blankets in and told us there will be a charge for the extra clean up Why when I cleaned up everything already, all they had to do is wash the blankets that were already dirty for the moment we got there All they had to do is their normal clean of the room which obviously they can’t even do that Will never stay here again!

Carmen the head housekeeper was just awesome She made sure our room was clean, the beds were comfy, the floors were swept and mopped it smelled great !! The bathroom was great and clean !! No cigarette burns or smells It actually smelled as good as it looked, CLEAN!! We had plenty of nice clean towels, and plenty of toilet paper also

She asked if we needed anything when we arrived and asked if our room was to our liking, which we agreed this was the best room we’ve gotten compared to other hotels It was nice and quiet no loud music I’d stay here again because of Carmen she does a great job each and every time

Rooms were small, but the “living” area was separated from the “sleeping” area by a wall, which was a cool idea TV was situated between the bed and the sofa, so it was at an angle for both, which was not a cool ideaWalls were thin

I don’t need to hear conversations in the hallway or the next room Bed was comfy, but the heater/AC drove my wife nuts Because of that, she won’t want to go back

Close to Antelope Valley HospitalFront desk was excellent and easy to work with as I added additional daysThe couch and mini fridge were helpful for a long, stressful stay

Not sure what the cleaning schedule was supposed to be Housekeeping came on days 1 and 3 but no service on days 4-6Breakfast is basic (scrambled eggs, sausage, toasted breads, cereal, yogurt, bananas/oranges and coffee

I am giving this hotel a 3 star credit because of the front desk staff They are a gem, especially Eddie- he goes beyond the call of duty There are also 2 other guys, I don’t know their names they too were wonderful

The Manager, he deserves an award as well He’s real human, he is selfless I always say that every level of the force force should work cohesively for a business to thrive The cleaning staff wasn’t that impressive- I’ll leave it at that Go visit, and enjoy it My only misgiving was the pool didn’t have a changing room area and an outside shower for washing off

This is quite literally the only hotel I can stay in without having immune issues There is no sense in the hotel rooms other than a very light lemongrass smell They use more natural products, have excellent breakfast and every time I stayed here it’s been very quiet

This hotel has been a place of refuge for me during the hardest and darkest times of my life The staff is very friendly and accommodating I literally stayed at four hotels that I could not tolerate before coming here I cannot think this facility and the ownership enough for running this hotel the way they do

Brianna Alvarado and Beau and staff were delightful! My event hasn’t taken place yet but the meeting we had to set it up and get everything in order was done with professionalism, courteous and patience Brianna took a lot of stress off my mind in that I have confidence everything will go with ease Thank you all and God bless you

I will definitely use The Oxford Inn again
