I would say nice place, the front desk folks are very nice and welcomingHowever, it is a very old hotel and it shows! Most of the amenities are old, and so personally for the money I feel this place is not worth it Also they stopped breakfast, citing covid but it was never mentioned during booking which is one of the things I considered during booking

Location is pretty good though, walking distance to a halal restaurant was one of the best things

湾区美食探店-崔同学

Very, very poor check-in experience, the Indian man at the front desk has a very poor attitude, rude, at least no greeting, no response to saying thank you, and the first day of check-in by sending a message to the hotel to respond to the air-conditioned room The air conditioner is very loud, very noisy, and there is no reply Until now, there has been no reply The ladies have excellent service

This is a three-star hotel I didn’t expect the men’s service that night to be so bad hotel

Best Airbnb checkin experience and so clean I left the check in desk already wanting to leave a 5 star review, which is NOT a thought I’d ever have Such a great stay and I highly recommend booking here either through them directly or Airbnb

Clean, stylish building, pool and hot tub Parking and multiple elevators for easy luggage moving

Xiaotong Li

Lazy housekeepersThey didn’t service my room for over a week and now they said it’s dirty so they didn’t even make my bed or clean the carpet All I can say is they are lazy!!!!!! Looking for the easy moneyIt will be my last time staying at this hotel ever

V B

I started my stay here on 27feb This is probably the worst inn in the area, no idea how they got 4+ star rating There breakfast which is already limited and to-go runs out of milk at 7am, so enjoy your cereal with water I guess!?Also the front desk staff named “Ramon” is not helpful at all and all his replies are condescending

Not worth it, avoid!

Great new hotel! Located in a more business park area, nice and quiet This is a beautiful property and when we stayed felt like it had just opened in the best way Patricia at the front desk helped us out and was SO nice and friendly

She made us feel welcomed and let us know about the amenities of the hotelRooms are so beautiful Very modern without being space age or cheesy Elegant furnishings that look like they’ll hold up The direction hotels should be heading Most comfortable Marriott bed I’ve slept in! Rooms have giant mirrors in the entryway and the bathrooms are a great size with a waterfall head shower with a handheld unit tooThey offer a full breakfast in the lobby in the morning which we did not actually try due to our plans but it’s nice to know it was there as an option The property shares it’s grounds with another adjoined hotel called Tetra which offers a fast coffee option and a Japanese whiskey bar The bar had great drinks that were affordable for the area

Rhonda Burns

Beautiful modern design and finishes Very clean room with excellent toiletries providedOne downside was the bathroom area

The door looks like a design from a restroom The door doesn’t go to the ceiling nor to the floor If you were here for a romantic stay, this would be a deal breaker There is no privacyAnother downside was there is no menu in the room for what’s offered in the bar nor the $18 (!) buffet breakfast

Xiaotong Yang

Very new hotel Clean with sophisticated decor The rooms are large and comfortable

The pool deck is modern but the pool is too small (about the size of half a hotel room) During our visit, a family with 5 kids took it over I’m glad they had fun but disappointed that we weren’t able to use it at all Would be nice if the hotel could have a courtesy rule for limiting pool usage of one party to 30-60 mins if there are other guests waiting, or have adult-only hours

I had a great experience with Wild Palms If I’m back in town, I’ll definitely stay with them again The rooms are so-so

However, the amenities are excellent They a cute resort looking courtyard with a jacuzzi and a pool It’s nice to be able to relax in the jacuzzi after a long day of work Great place to stay if you come here for workThere are a few authentic Asian restaurants within walking distance

Harben Mahil

As soon as I walked in to my room, I noticed a dead cockroach in the closet Frankly, that’s unacceptable and makes me wonder how much cleaning they do between guests, or if the room was just sitting vacant for some time Thankfully, the staff was quick to give me another room

To add to the service woes, the safe in my second room wasn’t working and it took me 3 calls for someone to come out and fix itThe rooms overall and hotel condition were decent, albeit somewhat outdated I definitely would not recommend a room that’s on the Wolfe Road side, as you’ll hear fire trucks quite often and it’s pretty loud due to the somewhat thin walls Speaking of the thin walls, I could hear *a lot* of the footsteps of the person above me, as well as when they were showeringAlso, they’re still doing cold breakfast, which was also pretty mediocreIf you have a little bit more to spend, I’d personally go for the Hilton Garden Inn or Courtyard by Mariott

Sky Li

premises confusing, one needs a map to find your roomNo elevator to upper floor and no associates to assistRoom smell terrible, swimming pool looks great but extremely filthy, possible human vomits and animal dumplings

Front desk reception Joey was incompetent, but the worst part is her poor attitude, rudeness especially to non Asians She mix up the assigned entry keys in two rooms when checking in only five guests rooms Two of the guests could not gain access to the assigned rooms, and worse was one of the rooms assigned, there were already registered guests insideIt took more than twice to finally get into these two rooms, but Joey, the Front Office clerk will not admit fault, and even stated that this was the guests own mix upApology in your dreamDefinitely will NEVER recommend stay

Too Long, Won’t Read version: $25 incidental hold they place on your card (other hotels charge $50-150), VERY CLEAN, FRIENDLY STAFF, Good Free breakfast, free parkingI travel a lot and stay in a lot of different hotelsGave this little hotel a tryAnd I WILL COME BACKI try to go as cheap as possible but as high review/rating and less critter infestation as possibleFor the price, it was one of the cheapest and had best reviews

ALL the staff was wonderful and nice and helpful From front desk to cleaning ladiesBreakfast was good if you are into ihop and stuff – pancake, ham, sausage, yogurt, milk, cereal, oatmeal, juices and watersThe room was clean, shower had good pressureBed was comfy and clean, pillows were nice (one firm, one soft)Had a mini fridge and a security lock boxAC unit In the room was good, windows open a few inches, has a curtain that covers 99% of sunlightWalls are THICK and not paper thin like other hotelsWorkout room, had the standard cardio machines (i just peaked inside , not sure if they have free weights)There’s a room has a balcony (I didn’t get that room but I thought it was cool)When I stayed it was NOT noisy, it was quietThe area of Sunnyvale is a good night life area for those who look to go to the night life areas

Rehma Mohamed

If I could give 0 stars I would Absolutely disgusting, inconsiderate management that allows visitors to book in their hotel, not notifying them that the hotel has been CLOSED FOR MONTHS and they were HOPEFUL it would be open by the time the visitors would check in Guess what? I am a week and a half out from my visit and was made aware that they are canceling any reservations because THEY ARE NOT OPEN

What kind of management is this? Why would they do that? And then they had the audacity to ask me “Do you want us to look for another hotel and possibly Holiday Inn Express to stay in if you still want to stay with us?” Uhm? Absolutely not? I rather stay in a cardboard box at this point Ridiculous Wouldn’t reserve here if it was a 5 star hotel offering 10$ nightly prices

Sungjune Park

Renovated room, big TV, clean bathroom, nice staffThe only downside I experienced was that the Wi-Fi signal in my room was weakGreat value for the money

Many of the hotels in the Bay Area is totally overpriced with old old facility but I was quite pleasantly surprised by this property

Very nice hotel overall Comfortable clean room Good size, including safe and refrigerator

Coffee maker and most amenities provided Very nice bathroom with good space One thing to note is that only one drawer was in the room, and the shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner was fixed to the wall of the shower Also the bathtub was large but did not allow for a bath to be taken because the drain stop seemed to be intentionally disabled

Pamela Olesen

I rarely give five stars but as I try to think about what could have been better to get a fifth star, I can’t think of anything criticalRooms are be modern, staff were friendly, atmosphere is great, ❤️ the hydration stations! The only thing I’ve found in the last few Marriotts is a lack of shelf/bench/ledge

anything to make shaving your legs even possible in the shower

David Wells

I wanted to like this hotel stay more; however, there were a lot of little inconveniences that frustrated me As a frequent traveler I’m used to things being different than what I’m used to, but things like the light switches either seemed to regularly not function, or just be incredibly unintuitive The overhead light in the entryway fell out of it’s housing on my first day staying in my room

The gym was incredibly stuffy (temperature was fine, just zero airflow) Also, everyday the room was cleaned, whoever did the cleaning turned the hand faucet so it pointed out of the shower door at high pressure, so almost every morning I gave the bathroom a nice spritzing of water before I had to turn it back to a position that made sense There were a few other oddities, but again, hotel was mostly just fine other than weird things that kept popping up regularly

True to brand, this property has fast, fun and friendly serviceThe rooms have all of the AC essentials, and are in excellent (like new) condition Very clean

Beds are comfortableLocation is quiet despite being right near the main boulevard (El Camino Real)Parking is a little tight, and the fact that they charge for parking is questionable given that it’s an unattended lot I get the parking pass to prevent locals or non guests from using the lot, but charging a fee is a bit excessive

Miri Lim

I stayed one night in June, and I want to share about the excellent staff, Louise I had plans to have drinks with my coworkers at the bar but unfortunately the bartender called out sick so my coworkers and I didn’t know what to do The front desk staff told us we can pick up drinks from the liquor store across the street

We did that and Louise took care of us by providing us with cups and napkins We were seated outside and he left the door open for us so we can stay late He was so nice and professional! I would definitely stay again As with any AC Hotels I love the clean rooms and the quality of the bed

Kristen Parker

I am a very light sleeper, and in general prefer to have a quiet hotel room There is very little sound proofing at this hotel I could hear every step of the person above me and every word from the room next to me

We decided not to stay the night because I knew I would not be able to sleepThe hotel staff was very helpful and kind and provided a refund The hotel was clean and modern, so if you’re a heavy sleeper or don’t mind a lot of noise you’ll be fine But if you’re looking for quiet, I’d suggest a different hotel

Ashley Sisneros

Front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and kind Easy check in and out, and lovely rooms Splurge for the king suite with bath if you can, its worth it!! Hotel is clean, parking is easy

I forgot a blanket in my room while checking out, they were prompt in having someone go up to the room and bring it to me within 2 minutesAs a bay area/San Jose native who comes back to visit now, this has been my favorite hotel stay by far Thanks Juniper!

Daniel Varela

As a regular Hilton customer I have seen usually really great service and care to detailHowever this hotel needs a little help

I’ve always been offered a couple bottles of water beyond my first night I was reminded that water is only available the first day Strike 1 Strike 2 the restaurant downstairs has crumbs on the dinning tables and the coffee saucer doesn’t look like it’s seen a bit of soap The seating outside looks nice I’ve asked if the heater could be turned on, I was responded with “I don’t know” A little bit of extra care can go a long way Sometimes the little things can go a long way

Hotel is getting quite tired/worn The staff are quite friendly and helpful If you’re looking for a budget friendly-ish Hotel stay here

Don’t stay here for new linens, fresh Hotel rooms, or any atmosphere I personally will look to find somewhere else to stay next time, but would stay here again if rooms in the area are getting hard to find

Luc Biddle (Nalu)

This place was terrible, the bathroom door did not lock, the headlamp over the bed did not work and there is little water pressure in the bathroom Will not be coming back here and definitely don’t recommend it to anyone else Don’t be a fool and go somewhere else Only redeeming factor is that the staff were somewhat nice

I was in room 222

I stayed at this hotel with my bf for 1 week The hotel is new, clean and the staff is very friendly, specially MARIA at the restaurant, she’s a sweetheart and her food is amazing! She treated us like family and gave us great recommendations for getting aroundThe only downside I’d say is the first room we had on the 1st floor in front of the pool was too noisy but when they switched us to the 2nd floor was great!!I’d definitely stay again here and I recommend it!

The digital check in was superb Some of the staff reception were nice, but some weren’t No eye contact during conversation, not wearing a smile

Not pleasant I requested for a late checkout and was only given an hour extra, my Hilton Gold member status didn’t value much My digital key was deactivated at the original check out time even if I requested a late checkout so I had to go back in the reception to remind them, they gave me a physical card to access my room The location was okay I wish the pool was indoor and bigger in size

Warren Rehman

Location was great Service was good My one complaint was the thin walls and ceilings

I had to ask to be moved because my neighbor was watching TV at 3am quite loudly and woke me The staff were really supportive with getting another room, however in my new room I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone – not yelling – just talking at a normal volume, and I could hear what they were saying This has to be an issue with inadequate sound proofing On my next stay I had a similar issue and this time it was an upstairs guest stomping around that woke me up The restaurant and bar staff are super friendly and the food was delicious Tip from the staff, book the top floor by selecting a room with snacks and avoid noisy guests!

Karla Escobar

Great place to stay near downtown Sunnyvale and close to the airport Had a long term stay here and found it easy to park, a decent sized gym, and friendly staff Didnt have any of the food on site and you do have to drive to get healthier food options, but dishndish across the street is pretty awesome

Do have fridge and microwave in the room which helped when not wanting to order out

First off the staff is very friendly and accommodating! The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the pool area has a great BBQ station It is an older hotel and the mattress is a little to firm but for a short stay it’s not bad It is a little hard to get into the parking lot from the expressway because of all the construction going on in the area

All and all a nice hotel!

Elizabeth

Room was recently redone, which was nice, but smelled musty/like animals Toilet had a slow leak and refilled periodically in the middle of the night, waking me up Bed wasn’t that comfortable, very firm

Breakfast buffet was meager and they are NOT offering the evening reception that most Residence Inns have I will not be going back

Daniel Mason

Staff was very friendly and helpfulThe amenities are nice, with a well equipped gymThe area was quiet and the room was comfortable

Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting the area

I want to be clear that this is not a bad hotel by any means Certainly not a hotel horror story you hear about At the same time, I was slightly disappointed based on the reviews I had read, so I thought I would post

To start, I thought based on the pictures online that a “premier room with balcony”, would have a room overlooking the pool, or a hood view of the town at least based on the pictures I saw online My room overlooks the parking lot, freeway, and a strip mall across the street Not a huge thing, but somethingThe jacuzzi was down when I was there Not hot, no bubbles Again, not a game changer, but just something And when I did visit the pool, there were people present who were glaring at me and my son We didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed and so we left that area Again, not something to make a big deal of, I could have said something and didn’t But somethingI think a fair comparison in any hotel review is a Motel 6 Everyone has stayed at a Motel 6 before You know what you’re getting into with a Motel 6 – cheaper, pretty bare bones, nothing to write home about, someplace (usually safe) you can lie your head at night There are better places, equal to, and worse places to stay than a Motel 6… I feel like my experience here has been equal to a Motel 6 Which I don’t think is a slam (again, not a bad experience), but also, just a very average hotel stay when I definitely paid what I think was premier hotel pricing I had to pay for overnight parking, which I didn’t see advertised anywhere, and I was even told upon check-in that housekeeping is only coming to rooms once every three days I’m sure that is a cost-saving measure at this point, but those cost savings are not being reflected in the pricePerhaps I’m being slightly unfair in that I didn’t speak with staff before writing this I’m not sure what they could have done though short of reducing the price, which I’m not sure is a fair ask They can’t change the view off my balcony or make people not look at me And again, it’s not a BAD hotel All the staff have been great I just thought I should write something though since I do use reviews myself when picking a hotel

Otto Weirich

AMAZING STAFF, I was staying here for work and long story short there was an issue in my room and all of the staff did an amazing job taking care of me and even upgrading my room for the inconvenience I wish I knew the names of the other employees but Erin the general manager runs a great hotel with a great team I don’t think I have ever been treated so well staying at a hotel than they did here

The rooms were super clean, and looked great They have a bar and small dining area serving breakfast lunch and dinner with a wonderful bar tender I will always choose this place when staying in the area again Thanks Erin and team!

Matthew Gant

The room wasn’t fully cleaned Notes from someone’s take out order left on the dresser Garbage in the hallway sitting for hours

The hot tub wasn’t heated Refrigerator in the room didn’t work The free breakfast area was closed They just had a few items in a basket with an empty coffee container There’s an extra cost for everything $12 a day for parking with signs everywhere saying they’re not responsible if anything happens to your car So obviously things are happening to the cars

All five star ratings are correct and well deserved We came to stay for a couple of days in the room with roll in shower The manager kindly upgraded us to the one bedroom unit

The room was perfect except for the excessively soft bed, which is present in many American hotels The hotel is new, the manager and all staff are friendly and helpful Breakfast includes a good selection of hot foods The waffle machine is a hit I wish I lived here

Very Disappointed We were there about 2 1/2 weeks because of their covid restriction, we were able to receive only 2 cleaning done during our stay

We requested a few times but they said they cannot clean the room while persons are in the room I am 8 months pregnant and my husband was working so we could not get the service but I tried to keep things clean Everything was okay We had about 3 fire alarms ran so we had to evacuate the building twice (one was off quickly) However, They charged us 163 for cleaning fee at the end without notifying us saying that they had to deep clean ? We even used out own comforters and pillows and funny thing was that we got our cleaning the day before our check out so it was pretty cleans plus we spent almost $3000 since we booked 1bed room suite It is expensive I contacted the manager a several times He finally got back and he said he will give me a refund 2 weeks later, I am still waiting for a refund I tried to reach out to the manager a couple times today but no luck!!! Please check your bill still ask for a cleaning because they will charge you if you did not take out the small trash bags out when you check out! ridiculous And Please give me my refund!!

I stayed here for a few weeks since my apartment had flooded, and the customer service was incredible! Very flexible to accommodating me when I needed to extend my stay, and when I had realized I left some items in the hotel a month after I had left, the front desk, especially Andrea, was kind enough to search the hotel for my items without giving up and send them to me 100% recommend if you need a stay in the sunnyvale area 🙂

Sam was the night desk woman She was so kind and after hrs driving around trying to find a place We found this Gem

EVERYONE is nice Upon walking in we knew we’d love it for our stay The rooms are very nice and impeccably clean Felt so comfortable Roomy rooms and beds are so comfortable Now moving along to breakfast LOVED the idea of them serving us It was set up with class They handled the food with gloves No slop from visitors Very clean The refrigerator was a great idea it had sealed fruit, yogurt, and milk which was self served Cereal was served by personnel which was boxed not in those funky turning thing The did have out a pancake machine with a touch only of a button They came out of bottom All you needed to do was place a plate underneath it Overall, I have absolutely not one complaint Elizabeth was a very nice and informative woman Need anything you just call 5 star for me people and I’m tuff Referring to Overall experience Thanks Maple Tree Inn

This is place is a gem It was so clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful I loved the jacuzzi and pool, my daughter and I practically lived there during our stay

Super quiet location, but not far from restaurants, and grocery stores About 15 mins away from Great America, and an hour from Sant Cruz Beach boardwalk Not to mention a decent free breakfast, normally bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurts, fruits ,pastries, with coffee and juices Definitely booking again

gave us the wrong room at check in, was combative about changing it (despite having paid for two beds, was given one) and refused to give us any more than three towels as three women The pool had no towels at all (hence why we needed more towels, also have you ever tried to shower with one hotel towel that isn’t full sized with long hair?) They kept repeating that they told me I need to leave my dirty towels outside of the room before noon to get clean ones, I don’t need clean ones, I need MORE TOWELS

Not only did they respond defensively, but completely refused to give us any extra towels at allThe breakfast was cold, you don’t get turndown service daily, and the facilities are so-so really disappointing two night stay for over $400 I recommend staying somewhere nicer for more money if you’re already willing to shell out this amount for this place

No shower curtain (wth) and the room telephone doesn’t work to call the front desk

looks like I’ll be taking baths the next 2 nights 😕😕*update: couldn’t take a bath as the drain was loose & not completely attached to the tub, so i went to the front desk & was told I had to wait 30 minutes until they finished lunch for someone to bring a shower curtain I was able to obtain a half day rate as I needed a 330pm check out, so that’s a positive

On the plus side, location and price are good If you’re looking for something fancy or well maintained, this may not be the best choice for you Parking is free, but challenging (lots of large trucks parked there)

This is a relatively inexpensive lodging option close to a number of tech companies It tends to have a lot of construction traffic and some longer-term residents

I stayed for above two weeks, nice hotel, but it was at the end of my of stay during checkout they wouldn’t let me checkout an hour late than their schedule that prompted me to write this review I travel a lot for work and stay for an extended period of time at various hotels and never had an issue I am a diamond member at Hilton, but wanted to give this a try, definitely not trying again

They could have definitely managed this better

Highly recommended Hotel is new and rooms well layout Spacious living room and bedroom area, kitchen well equipped

I love the bathroom, spacious and well thought of shelvings for own shampoo, towels and etc (they do provide shampoo, and such) my room is water view, it’s simply gorgeous view Watching sunset from bed It’s only 2 minutes walk away from the Bay Special mention to Jema from reception, so helpful and patient

Terry Jones

Peaceful and quiet location since there isn’t much around Not close to restaurants or shops, but only about a mile or so from Levi Stadium Most views from the hotel are decent except looking over the front entrance

Bad views for rooms that end 39, 41 and 43 Several fun amenities: putt-putt golf, pool, basketball court, BBQ area, couple of outdoor seating areas, and a really good size fitness center with plenty of equipment Keyless entry is available, however, the Marriott brand has not started being able to pick rooms and have contactless check-in The rooms are spacious, with full-sized appliances, a comfy bed, and 4 pillows for the king Oddly, the showerhead is very small, so it takes longer to rinse off The staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is wonderful EV stations if needed in the parking lot All in all it’s a good place to stay

Great location for the conference Food served during conference was good; however, limited options for non-meat eaters especially for breakfast No non meat protein options

The only other critique is placing water bottles in rooms only available for special members otherwise there is a charge Why not provide water at check in to these members rather than those of us not at the same level of membership seeing the water is not for us in the room? Not very welcoming

Jenn Thompson

This hotel is in need of some serious updating The furniture is old, and the bathrooms are outdated with patch up work and peeling wallpaper The hallways are very loud – doors slam, so your morning comfort depends on how early your neighbors decide to start their days

The location is great and having the market downstairs is nice The rooms seemed to be cleaned well It’s definitely not as upscale as the pictures and reviews make you think

Antonio Ly

I typically do not write reviews, but my experience at this Hyatt was poor, which is sad because Hyatt has always been a go to for me when travelling We arrived late at night only to discover right before bed that our toilet did not work After calling the front desk to report the issue, we went downstairs to the front desk (at midnight) to switch rooms

We went up to our new room to find the toilet leaking, and there were no toiletry items such as q-tips and cotton pads in our new room We reported the issue and requested compensation The hotel told us they would get back to us After hearing no response the next day, we followed up and were offered a $100 dining credit to be used at the hotel (where rooms service closes at 10pm), which was worthless to us because we did not plan on dining at the hotel However, that was what they could offer so we accepted and ordered room service When we checked out, they charged us the full amount for the room service, and did not consider out $100 credit We had to follow up to be refunded Overall, whilst the employees were polite in their handling of the matter, the service received was poor which was very disappointing for a 4 star Hyatt
