While traffic redirection has been a nightmare while this building and others were being built I’m incredibly excited about what this hotel will offer The restaurant looks incredible and the rooms seem spacious and well put together for such a small space I am impressed Living in the neighborhood I know all of the amazing places within walking distance and am excited for tourists, students, parents, and business executives to all experience out Amazing City from such a great starting point

Honestly I expected more from a newer hotel The rooms were pretty, and comfortable overall BUT, the AC units sound like they’re capable of launching you into space! You will struggle to even have a conversation with the person next to you, they’re so loud, forget watching TV (or sometimes even sleeping)

You would think that a new hotel would have maybe centralized air, or at least better units This wasn’t just our room either, my mother’s room had just as noisy an AC unitAlso,the pool wasn’t open yet It was supposed to be, when we arrived, but we were told they were running 5 or so days behind on it (meaning it wouldn’t open even during our stay) It’s June In Phoenix The pool should maybe be the #1 priority there We were told there was a neighborhood pool that was reasonably priced nearby, but never could find it The lake is right up the road, and has some grassy areas and paddle boats; but you couldn’t pay me to actually touch that water And there were quite a lot of homeless in the park thereThe location is close to the university, and some of the little shopping areas were fun Central to the highways & getting around town was pretty easy

Overall this was a great experienceWe got into Phoenix around midnight from our flight after a failed Airbnb experience had us looking for a hotel We found this spot a short distance from the airport and it was easy to find via Google maps

There is a small parking lot and you have to make sure you park in front of the hotel and not the building next door or you will get towed The staff were very friendly to help us park and get us inside and to our room We paid around $500 for two nights, and it might have been cheaper if we booked ahead of time, but this was same day pricing The hotel is VERY new at the time of this writing, about 2-3 weeks old according to the staff The lobby is very clean with chairs and sofas, there is also a bar and a lobster restaurant downstairs In my opinion it might have been smarter to put a breakfast restaurant in place of lobster, only because there is no breakfast currently being served You can buy pastries for $3 each, but you could also take a quick walk downtown and find plenty of breakfast spots The room was very clean and tidy, with enough room for two There are plenty of modern fixtures with the king bed, a long open desk, mini fridge, safe, TV, etc Everything you would find in a normal hotel room is there We did hear quite a lot of noise the first night out on the street, but there is nothing you can do about itOverall this was a good experience and I would gladly stay here again This is a new hotel and they are still working out all the kinks, but the staff are very helpful with anything you might need
