My partner and I came to stay for one night and I can honestly say The Haya is officially one of my favorite hotels to visit in Tampa The hotel is decorated beautifully and it is very clean with friendly staff The hotel is perfect for adults/couples

I didn’t hear any screaming kids which was perfect We went to Flor Fina the restaurant inside the hotel and it has this beautiful ceiling art piece in addition to the lightning and delicious food The restaurant has a smaller menu but trust me what they serve is made with care and lots of flavorTransportation is easy to find because there was the trolley train station near by and it’s free to rideThe hotel is a must visit

Lovely boutique hotel complemented by excellent staff and service as well as a fantastic restaurant and bar While not overly luxurious, the modern styled room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fine Our room overlooking the pool was quiet

The location was perfect for exploring Ybor and the surrounding areasThe MVP here is the staff From valet and front desk to waitstaff and housekeeping, the Hotel Haya employees were consistently professional, helpful and personable

We recently stayed for two nights while in Tampa The hotel staff is wonderful!!! The hotel is exceptional!!!! The beds are pillow soft and the room is immaculate The coffee shop staff and menu offerings will not disappoint

The pool is resort quality The restaurant is four star! Once in, you’ll find it hard to exit the beautiful marble lined showers The water pressure soothes aching muscles All this for reasonable prices I can’t wait to return Thanks to all the hard working staff!!!!!!

Breakfast was back to pre-pandemic and was pretty nice offering The room has been updated However, the cleanliness and service has something to be desired

Check in front desk was great but we messaged front desk at 12:13 asking for another wash cloth as there was only 1 in the room and never heard back even next morning or when we were sleeping I understand staffing but communication is key There is also mold in the shower on the ceiling and the shampoos Really needs detailed cleaning

Katelyn Valles

I had a good experience I think it would have been better if there was more storage space options like dressers or drawers to put your belongings inI also thought the breakfast was average

They had back order issues for oatmeal and the only fruit they had were apples They served scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, packages waffles, yogurt and have different juicesThe pillows were way too soft and they didn’t have an extra pillow stored anywhereEverything else was fine Service was good

A nice place to stay in the North Tampa AreaThis is a Marriott Brand hotel There are 1118 of these hotels across 828 cities in the 50 states This particular hotel is a 5 story affair located off the southeast corner of the intersection of I-95 and East Fletcher Ave

It can be a little tricky to get to the entrance since it is located on a side road with only one entrance off that road sandwiched between a Bob Evans and an Extended Stay hotel There is not much that is within walking distance of the hotel but it seems a fairly quiet area There appears to be plenty of parking and a covered entrance The lobby is very small but the staff was friendly There is a breakfast area with complimentary coffee in the morning and a workout room The room was a semi-suite with a seating area and a bedroom separated by a wall with an open entrance The front portion of the room had the restroom by the front door and a pull-out bed And the bedroom area had a low set of drawers, 2 side tables, and a large tv Overall, it was a nice hotel at a reasonable price

Great location where you can actually walk to things like the Children’s museum Checking in was smooth, Valerie was very knowledgeable in giving me local recommendations and even made my 2 children smile It’s nice to come somewhere new and be nicely welcomed

The pool was great, and surprisingly we had it all to ourselves Wish the exercise room was bigger, but gets the job done while traveling Would recommend for people wanting to stay in the downtown area

Rose Hudson

LaQuesha at the front desk was super helpful Gave us the best advice Checking in was just phenomenal because of her amazing spirit

That girl deserves a raise for real! This experience turned very awful when the fire alarm went off at 4:11 am, at first I was super understanding and very concerned as fire trucks and police start showing up We were one of the first people downstairs and there were no staff around or present There was no direction, no one executing any safety precautions Then at 9 am the following morning the fire alarm went off again for 15 seconds again before turning off again, and again at 10 am for 5 seconds No one was taking it seriously When we asked a staff member as we are walking down the stairs what we should do, they had no direction and basically told us to go back to our rooms What if a real fire had gone on, people would have not taken it seriously due to the previous electrical system errors, that is easily a fire hazard and huge code violation on the fire alarm system, never again We come to find out this was reported happening two days prior due to electrical system errors This place needs to be shut down and electrical issues needs to be addressed, it is a huge risk and not worth the time or money to stay here

Rolando Drausal

I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived Javier greeted us cheerfully and had a great sense of humor Upon check in Jessica found us a very nice room overlooking the River ( mom’s bday)

Room was well suited, clean and with all the necessary amenities All other staff members I met were helpful Good location, 1 block away from river walk, a little over 1/2 mile from Convention Center Very competitive price compared to well known chains

Wonderful location for visiting Busch gardens, Tampa zoo, Ybor and sites Hotel staff were so warm and welcoming Multiple times I went down to the front desk with questions regarding our stay and surrounding areas and they always treated our family so well

Breakfast was very nice and room was very spacious and comfortable Certainly will visit again

Weaver Kristen

I stay in a lot of hotels for work and don’t usually take the time to write anything but this one deserves a couple notesGreat blackout curtain if you plan to take advantage of the noon checkout Also a dividing curtain inside the room if you’re travelling with different sleep schedules

Tables that easily move so you don’t have to use the ironing board as a second deskAnd my husband’s favorite, which sounds silly but: a shelf you can see onto so you’re not worried about leaving things sitting on it!A+ rooms and service, even in the middle of the night Will definitely seek out this chain in my travels from now on

Melissa Cornelius

I always stay at Homes 2 suites any time I travel It is always clean, has a pool, complimentary breakfast and I can bring my small papillon who I cannot board and do not have anywhere else to bring her The hotel makes a stay for business or vacation always feel like home

I’m so grateful to have these hotels and with locations everywhere it’s always my go to choice I was a bit disappointed about the location of this particular hotel because of the loud road noise and the girl that greeted me and checked me in was incredibly rude however, I didn’t see her again at all my entire visit All of the other staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful

Beds are clean and super comfortable, check in staff was very nice and helpful The hotel is run down and old, but you can tell they try very hard to keep up appearances It was quiet, and the room was cheap

If you’re just looking for a quick and affordable place to rest up before moving on, this is a decent choice Area is a little sketchy but there are restaurants and shops close by Glory Days across the street is an awesome spot with good food too

Leandra Eddy

Honestly they saved me from a dreadful hotel experience at the sleep inn hotel on Busch garden When I called first not only did the front desk made sure I had a wheel chair accessible room they where able to make sure I got the best deal and they made sure to include that we are a military family This hotel went over and beyond to make sure our family got the best experience

Every issue I had was resolved and when I needed to extend a day in the hotel they went over and beyond to make sure we kept a wheel chair accessible room I would definitely recommend choosing this hotel compared to the other I will definitely continue using la Quinta Inn from here on for any vacation I had a very relaxing and wonderful experience We originally came for a wedding and my fathers doctors appt and till the day we left I have no complaints Very clean, Maids cleaned the room if you want new sheets or bedding when requestedJust a excellent experience with a happy family of 6!

Joyce Klein

I recently had a small house fire and needed a place for me and my cat to stay while my home was being repaired I tried an Airbnb but found it to be unsafe due to animal activity in the walls and flickering lights I was so happy to find a room at La Quinta Inn & Suites

I felt safe the moment I got there All of the staff, including front desk, housekeeping and maintenance, were friendly, kind and helpful When I needed anything they were very responsive My room was clean and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of very hot water The bed was comfortable and all the linens in the room were clean I never saw any bugs anywhere in the building It was quiet and peaceful with a view of a wooded area across from the building Thanks to all of you for making a difficult time a lot easier!

The pool is beautiful and very well kept as are the rooms My view from my room was of the pool and city view The amenities in the room are a full size fridge and dishwasher plenty of storage as well as seating I would definitely return ! Very convenient location minute’s from many eateries and also a cvs across the street and Starbucks on the first floor

Tina Lupien

Hotel staff is A+ and I saw them giving the same great service to everyone Room was large and comfortable The saline pool is great and super clean

The garage parking is pricey but the staff was able to reduce it for me given the amount of time I stayed Only negative was a faint sewerage smell at times but I don’t know if it was the hotel or something from outside Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Dylan Rector-Davis

Michelle was amazing up front!! She follow up with me when my suite was ready She made sure everything was put together regarding our requests This is by far the best location and managed Hilton I’ve been too in a long time

I had a great time staying at this hotel My room was available as soon as I arrived The front desk staff was nice and professional

I was not told that I had to use the hotel key to use the elevators, but a very nice housekeeping staff person told me I needed to use my key My room was spacious and clean with a nice view This location is great as it’s close to everything and you can use the streetcar as well The nearest station for a street car is about two-three blocks away The AC in the room was great! I did have to request for housekeeping by simply calling the front desk The breakfast buffet is the best They had waffles, bacon, potatoes, smoked salmon, fruit, oatmeal just to name a few! I made sure I caught the buffet every morning Their happy hour is just okay They should put cocktails on the menu for happy hour and more selection of foods on the happy hour menu The process for checkout was smooth and fast I can’t wait to visit this hotel again!

Sammie Lord

Room was very large and clean! My room had a kitchenette with a stove, dishes, pots, pans and silverware! As well as a dishwasher which I’ve never seen in a hotel before The staff is very nice and accommodating They offer hypoallergenic sheets, which was nice for me

They also made sure that my sheets were washed with dye free soap cause I’m severely allergic to fragrances and dyes Pool is pretty and location is right in the financial district There are a lot of restaurants nearby and it’s a short drive from Ybor City A few things I wish they could change is that, they don’t offer room service, or dine in room service Also the breakfast was a tad bit disappointing I wish they had a larger selection and options for people with different diets (vegan, gluten-free, etc) they have cheese, cold cuts and smoked salmon which is nice, however, I wish they stored it better especially the smoked salmon because it’s not safe or sanitary for it to sit out from 6:30 – 9:30 am It might make someone sick I also wish the food was higher quality at breakfast However, on the contrary, the restaurant at the hotel is great, and the portions are VERY large So you definitely get to your moneys worth

Tarra Rogers

This hotel checked all my boxes Clean, fast friendly check in, good breakfast selections and great location This hotel was everything I needed it to be

The only thing I would complain about is the $33/day valet parking but that’s something I expect in downtown area of big cities There is another parking option and I think it was about $25/day in a garage nearby Breakfast wasn’t just waffles and cereal They actually had, depending on the day, sausage or bacon, eggs or potatoes, lunch meat, cheeses, fruit, cereals, oatmeal different breads that you can toast as well as orange and apple juice, coffee and tea Lots of seating areas in and outside The rooms were nice, spacious and very clean The bed was a little soft for my liking but comfy enough The pool was clean with a nice vibe on the rooftop Next time I’m in Tampa I’ll be staying here again

First room they gave us smelled strongly of smoke They were prompt about giving us a new one They moved us to the first floor

In the morning it was extremely loud outside with people slamming doors, perhaps the cleaning crew There is no carpet so everything echoes loudly The room was fine Efficiency style Everything very basic but it was clean The pool is small and it was dirty with goggles and hair ties at the bottom For the price of $299 a night I would expect better

Brenda DiPalma

Really good hotel Convenient to Moffitt Cancer Center I haven’t asked yet about handicapped rooms

Are their any available? We book online but there’s no place for special needs I was comfortable in my room, it was clean and cool Love those blinds! People were nice, the grounds were well kept The pool was beautiful and taken care of Looks like new carpet, very pretty Breakfast is right on The other 2 hotels by this hotel do not have good breakfasts The whole staff was kind, considerate and friendly I will be back for my next round of chemo and will definitely stay at your establishment Thank you!

Lauren Almodovar

Horrible! We are IHG gold elite members Never had a problem at any of their hotels and on the contrary theyvare always our go to place to stay But this one is truly one to write about

They booked us into a room that they knowingly knew had a broken AC because when we called the front desk the lady said they knew and had been trying to fix for 2 days She told us the hotel was fully booked and we needed to deal with it and call the general manager the day after That there was nothing she could or would do and assumes since they have known, that maintenance ordered parts She was extremely rude and unfazed by the horrible service she was providing We called IHG complaint line, they called hotel, spoke to Kara who said she would call us immediately to correct issue Well here we are day 2 with no phone call from anyone To make it worst the room was dirty in ways you don’t even want to know Don’t bother staying here until you are sure this is 100% under new management and staff

This hotel is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in! The staff was kind, the room and the pool were clean, the facilities were extraordinary, the terrace garden was amazing! It was relaxing just to sit back at the terrace in the middle of green trees and flowers It makes you feel like you’re blending in the nature and escaping from modern life chaos a little bit The hotel and the rooms smell great from the cleaning but my linen had a blood stain on it

I worked in the hotel business for some time and I know that it’s impossible for some stains to come off, but at least they could have replaced it or put the stained side to the foot level, not the face level Again, I am sure that it was cleaned because of the great smell, that’s why I am still giving 5 stars It was a great stay for reasonable price Thank you to hotel staff!

Letty Torres

The pros were : check in process was great The person at front desk is definitely a great person, very knowledgeable The pool is nice and so are the facilities

Breakfast was great as well, it is available at a cost to you Person working that area was very friendlyCons: the bed is the hardest bed I’ve ever slept on, the door seemed to have paint chipped off on outsideas if some tried to pry it open The chair in room can use updating

Marie St. Louis

The location is perfect and I felt safe during my entire stay The bar and restaurant is right there in the hotel and that made things easy when it came to options The staff was friendly and if you report an issue they try their best to resolve your issue

I wish more was done for Hilton honors members but aside from that my experience at this hotel was a good one

Loved our stay… We came to town for a week to celebrate our anniversary The front desk, Pam, was so warm and welcoming We spent a couple of evenings relaxing at the bar for drinks and food

Brandon was the bartender and he is amazing! He is so friendly and fun, we had a great time talking and laughing Our room was cozy and we enjoyed having a balcony This trip it was nice not to be downtown, but we were close enough to the highway to get everywhere We would definitely come back here for our next trip

Nick Terpstra

Pam at the front desk is one of the kindest individuals I have come across in recent memory Just had to put that out there Get that woman a raise! Now, on to the review :)I stayed on the second floor and the end of the hallway with a decent pool view

The room was really nice Comfortable king size bed, mini fridge, massive TV, beautiful desk with CAT5e hook up, which is great since I do work on the roadThe bathroom is roomy and ornateI booked with Priceline, which can be risky, but it worked out greatFYI, for two nights, I paid $285 I’m pleased, good value

Ramon Scarlett

The staff was the nicest staff I’ve encountered at a hotel in awhile Special shout out to the front desk agent Sana! Very nice and professional young lady She were always friendly and asked how my stay was going every time I walked in the door

She also were able to recommend a few good places to grab food which Gabe the shuttle driver would sometimes take me, he also is always kind and very pleasant Overall, great experience

Booked about 15 rooms here for an event downtown and was a bit nervous given the mixed reviews; however, everything was great The rooms are a bit older but mine was very clean and no one had any complaints Am diamond … executive lounge was nice looking and had some nice snacks, very good coffee, and good soft drinks

Wish it opened at 6 instead of 7 am but that was fine Complimentary breakfast for diamond members was quite nice Valet was quick Not sure why some have given less than good reviews Very good location Thank you for doing a nice job with my small group

Cristyle Wood Egitto

100% recommend this hotel Got upgraded to executive upon check in which was a pleasant surprise Great city views from the room

Bed was super comfy Nice toiletries Staff was all really friendly Valet kinda pricey but we self-parked and it’s downtown so can’t really do much there Great location So close to the waterfront, arena, Armeture, etc Has a Starbucks in the lobby and a nice restaurant/bar Would absolutely stay here again

Chemere Mathis

We traveled to Tampa to visit family & this was the perfect stay! The location was close to great restaurant & bars Valet was very convenient & professional The front desk receptionists were friendly & very helpful

Special S/O to Hashim that works the front desk ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ He ensured our stay was enjoyable from checking in & during the remainder of our stay It was pleasure to work with him!!The only concern I have is the rate of our room that was increased by $300 for one night before we checked out when we were told a different price by the front desk I’m hoping management or corporate will help to resolve this manner efficiently as I enjoy being a Hilton memberUpdate: Lucas reached out to resolve my concern & honor the amount that was given by the front desk Thank you all!

Check-in went smoothly, nothing else did I arrived in my room, standard Aloft room with a nice view but I noticed that the entire control panel for the safe was hanging by a thread, dangling I needed to lock up a valuable, get ready for a dinner appointment and leave

I called the desk and asked to be moved or to get the safe fixed I was told they’d call me back 30 minutes later I called to see if they could move me, that I had an appointment and needed to leave soon I was told that they were sold out and all the managers were in a meeting They’d call me back 10 minutes later a maintenance worker knocked on my door and had a plunger He thought they said sink, not safe He walked away I called the desk and they said they’d fix it later I couldn’t take my valuables with me, so later wouldn’t work I needed to get changed and freshen up but I didn’t want to be in the middle of that and partially unpacked if they were going to move me I finally got a manger on the line who said she’d move me I asked if they could bring me the key The answer was no, I have to come down and get it PS I’m a gold rewards member, whatever The new room was a handicap room and faced a concrete wall Didn’t care, the safe worked I asked for a 1:30 pm check out and the front desk said fine The next morning I go to use their liquid shower gel, that is bolted to the wall and it’s empty I showered with shampoo I reconfirmed in the morning my 1:30 check out and the night clerk failed to note that I would’ve been charged 1/2 day had I not rechecked The overall attitude is poor and the staff isn’t trained with Marriott standards, at all I’ll be staying at any other property downtown Another PS, I’ve stayed here numerous times but it’s gone too far down hill for me to go back

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any hotel This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area

I’ve been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you definitely won’t be disappointedWe stayed here for one night while in Tampa and had a nice experience The staff was very helpful and nice The room was clean and simple with plenty of room for the three of us that stayed there We also had a nice partial view of the river that was enjoyable The parking was a bit expensive and valet was the only option, but I would venture to guess that parking anywhere near the hotel would have been just as expensive

GOOD:– Seriously friendly staff The staff we encountered at check in and the morning breakfast was the best… and really carries the positive weight of this review– We chose this location for its proximity to Busch Gardens and it served those needs well

You can’t walk straight to the park’s entrance because a wall around the BG forces pedestrians to walk a bit out of the way A brisk walk can get you from hotel to park turnstyle in about 20 minutes– Rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker– Interior designs from the lobby to our room are fresh and modern… really looking good– Breakfast had all the hot items that have become staples… eggs, sausage, steamy oatmeal kettle, waffle station, etc– Digital keys are available on the Hilton app We appreciated the option of being able to check in online, choose the room location, and enter our room without physical key cards– Easy in and out of the parking lot via back streets leading to traffic lightsCAUTIONS:– While the room looked great on the surface, it had some rough edges Some brushed stainless steel surfaces have become rusty… not sure if this has been accelerated by extra pandemic cleaning liquids or just from steamy showers… nonetheless, it needs attention– We needed a screwdriver Not the drink… a literal screwdriver From cabinet handles to bathroom fixtures, there was a bit of giggling going on… every screw needed to be tightened Even the TV wasn’t far from coming detached from its swivel connection None of this caused any inconveniences, but it’s a clear sign of minor neglectSUMMARY:– I wouldn’t necessarily give this hotel a perfect score, but I would not hesitate to stay here again Again, the staff is great… making this a solid choice for the Busch Gardens visitor

This hotel is fantastic Having stayed in other properties nearby, this one is the best by far The rooms are fantastic, and so are the amenities

Upon arriving as a Bonvoy Gold member, I was instantly upgraded to one of the highest floors After my flight was cancelled, they easily allowed me to stay an extra night in a room, which was also upgraded, and at a reduced rate All the staff are incredibly friendly, from the front desk, the bell staff, housekeeping, valet, restaurants, pool, and bar The rooms were spotless, and the pools incredibly refreshing Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, and will certainly be staying here again!

Beautiful and luxurious hotel with lots of amenities The staff is friendly and very helpful Clear signs touch screen elevator and there is plenty of food options on property

They honor the privacy tags at the door Plenty of USB and outlets in the room They have slippers and mouthwash too if those matter to you (I certainly appreciate it) Basically everything you would anticipate in an upscale room I would recommend and definitely returnI would appreciate vents in the bathroom I also didn’t see a lock
