The suite was very spacious and clean The pool area hot tub patio seats everything was kept very nice The girls at the front desk we’re polite and courteous as well as the clerk the next morning on day shift

Although they had construction going on at the time it did not affect my room and the noise from the contractors was only during working hours and did not wake us up or keep us from going to sleep Located next to great restaurants like Guadalajara right across the street I would highly recommend staying at this hotel

Dr. Holly DeWitt

Had a great 1-night stay! Front desk, Sara & Michelle, were fabulous! I stayed in a renovated room and it was so nice! Hot water, great lighting, refrigerator, comfy bed, and great location to restaurants/drinks/Whole Foods Pool was very clean and great temperature No breakfast, currently, due to renovations(but knew that going in)

Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the 3 Palms for five days The room was clean but very small We had a king size bed which took up mahout 90% of the room

Actually, the room was laid out nicely and had a small refrigerator and microwave in a cabinet The room had the nicest big screen television I have ever seen The staff was very friendly We were at the back of the hotel where a lot of construction equipment was stored It appeared that the hotel was under major renovation but surprisingly the area was actually very quiet I think our room had been renovated: however I noted a large crack under the entry door Worried that rodents or bugs could easily enter the room No breakfast is offered at the hotel but coffee and tea is offered in the morning My main issue is the road in front of the hotel, N Oracle road, is like a freeway Non stop speeding traffic made it difficult to exit the property There are plenty of restaurants and businesses in the area that you can walk to but the area is much too congested Not a bad hotel, although a little expensive, but I would probably stay elsewhere on my next visit The room was just too small and there is no breakfast included with the rate

My husband and I are on our second trip driving across country and decided to stop here and stay at the Roadside Inn for a night – we chose the Tejas Room On this cross country trip we’ve stayed at 14 different places so far and we still say this was the best of our stops Kerrie was such a great host, she helped us find our way to our room, even when we arrived late in the night

The Inn was so charming and the decor I fell in love with Everything about this Inn was well thought out to give guests a wonderful experienceThere’s a desert garden that surrounds Roadside Inn that’s quite beautiful We went to eat at the Coyote Cafe with our complimentary breakfast voucher and then perused the shops behind it

We just returned from a three night stay at The Cat Mountain Lodge Rooms were spacious and clean Courtyard was beautiful

Cable lights were not working in courtyard at night, a little dark I would suggest you bring your own shampoo and soap You are adjacent to park, lots of great hiking The nature museum and observatory are near by Cafe Coyote Pause was great! There is a Buffalo Exchange across the street, highly recommend you stop by!! Kathleen was an amazing host and service was great She was very helpful to us with local history and suggestions Wifi was good, fridge, microwave and all common areas were very neat and clean Would definitely stay again

Conrad Beattie

This place is an oasis of tranquility in our crazy world The rooms are spacious and comfortable, decorated with a Southwest motif The courtyard provides shade throughout the day and the Arizona room offers coffee, tea, water, microwave, cookies, internet access and books and movies

The grounds offer plenty of seating areas, a labyrinth and a nature trail In addition to the host of birds who visit daily we saw a coyote, a bobcat and a western diamondback rattlesnake all on the property We made it our base for visiting Tucson and we’re very glad we did

I 100% enjoyed my stay at The Graduate in Tucson The thing that stood out to me the most was the genuine kindness and prof of every person who works there Mike and Sandy checked us in and out l – I called them the dream team and my 7-year-old remarked, “Everyone here is SO nice

“The pool is super cool, I think Tucson’s only rooftop pool I felt pretty posh during my stay 🙂 The rooms are cute and most importantly SUPER CLEANWe will definitely be back! A perfect stay!

Prior to stay I went through previous reviews and after reading I was skeptical but hoping for the best Unfortunately they were spot on Great hotel and location with easy access to explore the city

However, much of the staff seemed to be irritable and under the influences of substances in coffee and bar and restaurant/bar outlets We attempted to dine and enjoy the ambiance after check in but due to limited menu and lack of attention, we grabbed a drink then went off property The weather wasn’t ideal enough to utilize the pool, although the pool deck view is obstructed by high rise buildings The following morning we had hoped for a better experience but was even more disappointed The same “Manager” was working the coffee bar Service levels were very poor and the individual gave off odors from their night or even that morning, along with their mask was only covering their mouth This hotel has a lot of potential I just hope that upper management take the right steps to hire and replace some of the current staff

We only stayed one night but I wanted a clean room and a welcoming atmosphere after a long day of driving The resort delivered The room looked just like the picture and it was clean and relaxing

The thermostat was easy to use which made our stay comfortable The staff was so kind and welcoming They helped us figure out dinner and get settled The waitstaff was amazing and the food was delicious We spent a few hours at the grill and had a wonderful time We are planning to come back with our full family to enjoy the other accommodations Worth the price

Doug Wicks

It’s a nice resort, beautiful environs Reasonably priced, good facilities, very nice staff Like a lot of properties, I think it needs a little refresh after covid, seems like certain things have not been attended to as perhaps they would have if Wyndham was flush, and staffing was not an issue

Paths around the property need repaving Less trafficked areas of grounds had bits of litter Carpet fraying a bit at the junction w hard floor of the bathroom Mostly very nice but

We had stayed previously at the Loews Resort and had such an awful time there we decided to give this place a try, and I’m so incredibly happy we did The staff was so nice and our check in process was quick and easy, we booked through bookingcom and had no issues at all

Valet was present and able to help us to our room immeadiately and he was such a sweetheart The staff working along the property are incredibly knowledgeable about its history John Wayne and Dean Martin had stayed here before and the room they use to stay in is now the cutest gift shop The room service was amazing, everything was fresh and clean We tried all the deserts and couldn’t pick a favorite they were equally so wonderful in their own ways We walked around the gardens and the chefs garden was so amazing We saw so much wildlife including a snakes, cardinals, lizards, and lots of different species of butterflies We learned about a ghost that also roam the property and in the beginning of my stay I swear I had seen her standing in our bathroom checking on us We are huge paranormal fans so this was an out of this world stay Definitely coming back Thank you so much to everyone here!

I have been staying here for a long time If you choose this place you for sure won’t regret itI was happily surprised by the food and atmosphere We went to a jazz show I thought the outdoor venue was too loud, or maybe I’m too old The indoor event space was perfect Great staff and owners

Loved this hotel!! I was passing through on my journey moving from Texas to Arizona, and the day I was there was my long driving day- so I was super tired when I checked in The staff was AMAZING! Super friendly, efficient, made me feel very comfortable and welcomedThe room was SUPER cute! Bed: comfortable, TV

: huge!, There was a mural on the wall – “Sweet dreams” with accented glow in the dark stars and part of the moon – how cute is that?!The shower water pressure was awesome, and all the shampoo/conditioner and body wash was wonderful! When I checked out I was a bit concerned about the weather up north and asked the front desk what was the best way to stay up to date about road conditions/weather She was so helpful! And also welcomed me to Arizona :)Overall my dog and I had an amazing time – and can’t wait to get back to Tucson – this is for sure our home away from homeOh – and the overall vibe with all the art on the walls – just spectacular! Thanks to everyone – including the cleaning staff I didn’t get to see – for making my dog and I feel welcomed to Arizona!

Really enjoyed this hotel We planned to stay in Phoenix but actually came back to stay another night here as we liked it so much Service was excellent

The price was great Free oatmeal breakfast was delicious Coffee, tea and pop tarts also available The hotel has a bar and offered tokens for free drinks at each check in There’s a nice salt water pool, fire feature, outdoor seating and games, indoor seating and board games The rooms were nice, very comfortable beds, with big TVs and lots of parking There is also laundry The location is not very walkable however it’s very accessible from highways If I’m ever in Tucson I will definitely stay here again

David Suftko

This type of hotel is not one I typically stay in when I travel We were in town for a comedy show and needed a place to stay one night This place came up on a Google search and though we skipped past it at first, I kept coming back to it

I am VERY glad that we stayed at this placeHotel McCoy is a quaint place, with a nostalgic feel, good prices and friendly staff The room was very clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable The oatmeal breakfast was a nice touch in the morning as well I genuinely wish that we were staying longer as there were other amenities that we would have liked to take advantage of, such as the heated salt water pool or the ping pong tableThe only downside is the location, as this is not in the best of areas However, it is right off the freeway, so you can hop on and get anywhere in town quickly I was concerned about the road noise, but I heard nothing in the nightIf and/or when we go back to Tucson, we will stay here again

Room and staff were fine Max, waiter at the lobby restaurant was superb- great attentive serviceOnly complaint I have for the hotel was something apparently beyond their control…but is also beyond annoying

There is a bar (Gentle Ben’s, I believe Don’t patronize it Maybe it can go out of business) not only has their music cranked to the max, but the bass is so loud you not only hear it but feel it in the rooms that are unfortunately located on that side – South side I think It is annoying to the nth degreeThe other problem with rooms on this side of the hotel is that 6:30 AM on the dot, every morning the trash trucks back up…to the accompaniment of piercing beep, beep, beeps, and then to the noise of banging steel and heavy chains do the deed with multiple dumpstersNot knowing what it was the first morning I was convinced that a truck had just delivered a load of steel pipes or girders and rolled them off the truck and dropped them on the street We got to enjoy that everysinglemorning Lovely way to wake up three hours before you intended to on a vacationWe stayed here last year in a different part of the hotel and had no issues We expect to stay here again next year, but only if not on this side of the building

Greg Valdez

This hotel is located very close to campus and other downtown attractions Parking is available for a fee and there is a valet The hotel had an atrium feel with large open spaces

Rooms are decorated in modern furnishings and the bed was very comfortable There is a coffee maker in the room It was very clean, nicely sized and everything worked The restaurant downstairs serves breakfast that was delicious There is no complimentary breakfast For a one night stay it was great and I would stay there again

JB L (Jessie)

I usually don’t post review but for Aries I will Aries helps with housekeeping and has been very attentive to details—brings extra tea bags as I left some on the counter, brings makeup remover when I have makeup on my counter, etc Overall, room is more spacious than a typical Marriott, open building layout, good first floor dining/lounging space

As a titanium member, I received great accommodations I will note one thing for anyone who will stay here (and unfortunately it’s out of Marriott’s control), you will likely get eat plugs in the room as neighboring building has loud music occasionally and trash truck comes around 5:20AM- 8:00 AM regularly

I only stayed one night but it was a great experience Check in was quick and friendly There is a pool, small bar and restaurant services in the main building, but I did not use them

It’s obvious these are old motel rooms that has been renovated, but they did a fantastic job Our room was extremely clean, stylish and comfortable My bed was very comfy, loved the comforter too The parking lot gate closes at 9pm, which is nice for added security We chose a room in the back of the complex, so we had a view of the “A” mountain Check out was nice too I received an email with a link to check out Easy and quick! It was a very clean, modern, stylish facility I would recommend staying here and will consider it when I’m staying in Tucson again!

JJ C

On our way to Dallas, TX, my friend and i made a pit stop at Tucson, AZ and stayed at this very lively, hip, and urban accommodationNow at first glance, it does look like a motel, in fact, it reminded me a lot of the Bates Motel – now we know how that ended But it is not even close to that

After driving up, the bright Vegas-like lights tell a different story, one where laughter and splashed by the pool are heard Even late into the night, the atmosphere of fun lies not too far The desert heat and the bar at the reception lobby make a perfect spaceOn the night we checked it, there was even a paint and sip activity going on If I were to ever open my own boutique hotel, this is what I would base it off of The staff were nice and the accommodations exceeded expectations My only regret is staying for one night

Crissie Roberts

We enjoyed our stay at the Tuxon The room was a lot smaller than we were expecting, but it was really cute and modern, and worked out fine for our one night stay Everything was really clean, however there was a bit of a funky smell to the room

Nothing too terrible We didn’t get the chance to use the pool, but it looked really nice They did a great job in updating and modernizing this older hotel The staff was really nice as well

We are Tucson residents vs tourists or seasonal We did not stay overnight, but most visiting friends do We go from time to time for golf, lunch or dinner, for a drink, a few bets and people watching

The food is average, but not overpriced Great atmosphere The pool area is beautiful! As a local, we sure wish they had a mid week golf ‘stay and play’ special over the summer We know a lot of friends who’d utilize it a local get away!Go! Courtesy and service are definitely on their list of criteria for employment!

Stayed for 2 nights last week, had an excellent time, even w the mask mandate Pool was perfect! Staff was friendly and helpful, Food was delicious in all the restaurants as always, Love the updates, good mix of slots Clean atmosphere

It was great experience staying there The room was very big and it was very quite However, the WiFi didn’t work for us

Must be because we were at a corner room We tried the spa and it was great We went to the bar and the Bob’s and it was great as well The food was very good Getting a reservation at Bob’s was difficult and we got a 8:30p reservation and that was disappointing

Emily Moyer

We arrived and it was such an easy breezy check in experience! We were lucky to have Justin who was our bellhop and not only helpful but incredibly knowledgeable and great to talk to and really went the extra mile in getting us settled into our room We had a small issue when a large family with small kids moved into the room above us a couple days into our trip and Ryan from the front desk helped to get us moved to an upstairs room within 30 mins! Chris helped us get over to the new room assuring we left nothing behind and later during our stay on the resort he would stop to assist us with various things, bring us waters, give us rides in the golf cart to the bar when it was hot All of this made our stay just so pleasant and enjoyable

The bar staff at Legends was so helpful and kind making sure we always were hydrated with ice cold waters and stiff drinks and even when I needed to deal with a low blood sugar, they were quick to get me what I needed! This resort was great to stay at, comfortable rooms, and fantastic staff The Sonoran course was also beautiful as could be and we got to stroll the Catalina course in the evenings when the sun was setting, while it was being aerated Great experience here!

Kenneth W Franklin Jr

We went for a pool day The staff are all very friendly and helpful A lot of areas are under construction but the pool is not

The pool area needs to be cleaned every morning before guests arrive Wash all chairs and tables down with a power washerGreat saltwater pool, friendly staff Just needs to be cleaned up

This place is awesome! Came here for a conference and my room was comfortable and had a balcony with a view of the front of the hotel The place is very clean and has a variety of restaurants to eat at Be very aware that it is a resort and prices will be higher if you eat and drink on sight, but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the atmosphere

The pools are awesome and the golf course was very challenging I recommend this place to any and everyone

Angie K

We love Starr Pass! Visiting is an annual tradition for us and a group of friends It’s a beautiful resort with a nice secluded location The rooms are nice and spacious, they have a fantastic gym with loads of equipment and machines with an extra yoga, stretching room, the pool and lazy river are so nice to enjoy on a hot day, and the grounds are beautifully kept

We love sitting on the patio for dinner or going down to Catalina for some BBQThis year we did notice that there is quite a lapse in housekeeping, not in the room, but in the gym and at the pool Discarded plates would sit for hours at the river, there were no towels in the gym or paper towels in the gym bathroom, and the pool was out of towels for more than half a day-on a Monday, not a weekendOther than that, no issue and we’re already planning to come back!

Milton Hope

Came here at the last minute after having to change travel plans due to weather at our planned vacation spot This turned out to be a hidden gem in Tucson I’ve always been a regular type hotel guy

You know, near good, store, gas, etc This is not that place and that’s ok Located up in the hills west of I-10 this turned out to be a great choice It’s not a “hotel” as one would think There are duplexes spread around the property Pool, hot tub, gym on the property In the room all the necessities Plus plates and silverware if needed Starr Pass golf course is also on site Highly recommend

I am happy to give this establishment 5 stars Clean & comfortable hotels can still be found at an excellent value- (even in today’s market) The highlights of the suites are the large kitchenette and the extremely helpful service

The front desk personnel are kind, friendly, and accommodating (We were a family of 4 – including a special needs adult staying in the 2 queen room) The suites themselves are located in a quiet part of town relatively close to attractions I felt safe in and around the hotel I would stay again & am happy I found such family friendly lodging!

We spoke to Nichole Oram the front office manager, multiple times before our stay She was always very nice and helpful with all of our questions about Tucson and the surrounding area She recommended multiple places to dine for both breakfast and dinner

All were VERY GOOD I can’t go on enough about the diner across the road called Jerry Bob’s The staff was very friendly and the cook was spectacularOur room was very clean, and the air conditioning was nice and cold Just what you want in the hot, hot summertime We were surprised to find that we could do laundry for free while staying there We will stay at this hotel every time we pass through this part of Arizona I wish all hotels were as clean, the staff was as nice, and the location this good! Thanks again Nichole for everything

Great rooms, very clean and good for one person Two people might need a larger room than what they offer but for the most part very nice accomodations The staff is very helpful and friendly with the exception of one staff member who has an attitude and is not friendly or concerned with how she comes across to guests

I witnessed multiple interactions in which she was quite unfriendly I did notify the manager of my interaction with this staff member and was assured it would be addressed as it apparently is not the first time someone has brought it to their attention The staff member Ryan, I believe is her name, was my favorite and most helpful, accommodating front desk person I had the pleasure of interacting with and if I went back it would be because of the great service she provided and the effort she made to correct any issue that was brought to her attention As far as hotels pool it was small but nice, the gym was a good size and they offer free laundry which is a plus if your staying for an extended amount of time Overall I was pleased with my stay

A perfect weekend is to be had at this B&B! We booked a two-night stay with the Falconry Experience package, and the weekend could not have been better Steinen Hurtado is the perfect hostess and her attention to detail results in an incredibly relaxing and delightful stay Steinen has thought of everything, and I cannot think of a single aspect of our stay that needed improvement in any way

The B&B grounds are naturally lovely, the rooms beautifully appointed, and the breakfasts are delicious and generous in size We visited Saguaro National Park as well as the Desert Museum during our stay, and came back from both trips to fresh cookies and self-serve coffee, which revived us while we transitioned to dinner plans We sat on our private patio with a fire burning in the chiminea one night, we sat in the hot tub the next night (which was heated to a perfect 102 degrees), and we snacked on some of the tasty morsels provided to us in our room fridge throughout our stay The Falconry Experience was absolutely incredible, and was so convenient, seeing as the first day of the experience takes place right on the grounds of the B&B The rooms are set up on the opposite side of the main house, which provides the perfect amount of distance between both parties There is a patio that beckons the viewing of gorgeous sunsets, and if Steinen is available, she will join you there for a little chat The B&B is beautifully decorated and the nights are blissfully quiet If you want to enjoy the feeling of being away from things, but still be within easy driving distance of everything, this is the place to stay We enjoyed it so much, we have booked a longer stay for the future Of all the B&Bs we have stayed at, this is definitely one of the best!

Casa Tierra B&B is a Sonoran Desert gem! Located about 30 minutes west of downtown Tucson, Casa Tierra is secluded, quiet, and in the heart of the desert The B&B is surrounded by saguaros, ocotillos, prickly pear, and chollas, with mountains views all around The chimeneas, Mexican pottery, adobe walls, open-air courtyard, and hot tub all add to the ambience

Breakfast was healthy and delicious Highly recommended and hope to visit again!

This enchanting B&B was the best part of my trip I got so spoiled by the desert view and the host’s pampering that I longed to be at the B&B instead of sightseeing Saguaro National Park was good and so was the Desert Museum and Mt Lemon, but I preferred the scenery and gorgeous sunrises from my peaceful relaxing charming quiet room

The layout of the building is perfect for privacy This is not a converted home it is perfectly designed guest lodge The location is incredible; right by all the desert attractions Wildlife is everywhere I saw coyotes, deer, a roadrunner, and even a Harris Hawk and other raptors thanks to my favorite part of the trip–a session with Sky Island Falconry right behind the B&BSteinen went above and beyond every day insuring I was comfortable and stuffed with her delicious cooking and abundant snacks She is so considerate, and dedicated so much time to making my visit wonderfulJust loved everything about this place
