I would not recommend this spa They have major staffing issues and we have had multiple issues trying to deal with resolving issues from 11/20 through now from a 12/26 visit

They did not provide the described services and they bungled the resolution as well Don’t waste your time or money There are better options in the DC Metro area Do not recommend The hotel stay was mostly fine

This is my go-to hotel when visiting DC/McLean, Virginia

It is beautiful, and the service is fantastic! This location has luckily been able to uphold high standards and customer service from check-in to dining, concierge services, you name it! I’ve had amazing experiences speaking to agents on the phone, who are actually on location, check-in services, the wonderful greeter who is always happy to direct me in the right direction, especially while under construction! I hope the Ritz maintains this level of enthusiasm as well as standard for cleanliness… I also look forward to having breakfast at Entyse, the bistro Mona has been serving us for years and we absolutely love catching up with the staff! I would definitely give them 10 stars if possible!

I had an excellent stay here The rooms are clean and modern Bathroom shower was great, love the rain head

Free parking is convenient and seemed secure Check-in staff was fantastic and accommodating when I missed a flight There was some wind noise in my room, but I’m not going to count it against the hotel (since I didn’t ask for a different room) The hotel is close to the highway, shopping and restaurants are nearby I would stay here again

THE STAFF, Large room, comfy beds, clean bathroomThe staff was very accommodating and super sweet and hospitable My family’s power was out a little over 2 days due to a recent snow storm

They made sure we were comfortable, that we had everything we needed, and the check in process was stress free I will definitely be staying again but hopefully not due to the recent circumstances

James England

OK Where to startStaff, super friendly, great shuttle service to and fro town center

the only close walking distance is Popeyes and a 7-11 and a few other small things I didn’t have a car, so location was not goodPhoto shows a poooool… I didn’t see this Really nice meeting and ballrooms from the outside and from photos Nice gym though Probably a great hotel for conference or meetings??I know location drives price, but wow Seriously overpriced I had a king room average 200 a night Bed and bathrooms were nice, pillows: bring your own No microwave Bar open only Tue-Sat closes at 10 or 11??? If I was not on company dime I personally wouldn’t stay again for the price

Corrie Christiaansen

The staff was super friendly, especially Robert and Kristine at the front desk and the bartender I was very impressed by the cleanliness and modern sleek style of the hotel The food and drinks at the bar were amazing, I recommend the shrimp linguine and the cheese spinach dip! In general my stay was quiet and peaceful in exception for some of the noise from the Metro station across the street

On the other hand, the Metro station being right there was very convenient for my trip With all the mandates and safety concerns in DC, this hotel was the perfect alternative to still be close to DC without actually staying in DC

Alison Molnar

Really excellent customer service; helped me navigate a lost credit card situation with ease! My trip very easily could’ve been difficult, but they made the check-in process painless The rooms are nice and clean – I especially appreciate the drybar hair dryers and 24 hour gym My room did have a lot of noise from the metro, but that can’t be helped

Peggy Allen

Great location close to subway We did not need to rent a car during our visit Nice savings

Very quiet throughout hotel Nice bar and restaurant in the evenings If you are too tired to leave for supper- this place, with a small menu, will satisfy if you are looking for a beer and a good burger Breakfast was very nice with a great wait staff that brought drinks and coffee quickly each morning and remembered thereafter Tables always clean unlike other hotels that leave messy tables when mornings are busy and tables are in demand Good coffee Would stay again

We stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend and was very happy with the stay Captain managed the front desk during my stay, and he was extremely friendly and helpful! He even went above and beyond to make my birthday night special The other front desk staff was just as nice and helpful

I had no complaints about my room that was a standard size, everything worked as it should, and most importantly clean We had a drink at the bar/restaurant and the bar’s hostess was great toowe enjoyed her! I am very picky and boujee about my hotel and would return to this hotel It is in a great location surrounded by a mall, restaurants, and a quick drive to the DC area! Thank you for assisting with making my birthday a success!

Beautiful hotel, clean and good rooms We stayed here for a family reunion The beds are comfortable, the pillows are good, the a/c works well with no issues

The bathroom is a decent size Bath soaps and shampoos are decentBut the best thing about this hotel is the staff Alina was very helpful She tried her best to accommodate our family in spite of a huge wedding group staying here at the same time Captain was also great!! He is friendly and charming When you come across hotel staff who welcome you with friendly smiles and want to help you have a great stay, that means a lot to a customerThank you so much, Alina and Captain!!!!

10/10 experience The hotel staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful The room itself was very clean, only issue was a missing remote but we weren’t in the room much, so that wasn’t too much of an issue

The breakfast at Starbucks was absolutely delicious I got the egg and sausage bagel, the egg was cooked from scratch The location is also great as it is about 7 miles from Trader Joe’s, and a half mile from Whole Foods Tyson’s Corner Mall is also about a 5 minute drive away All in all, I had a great stay at Westin Tyson’s Corner!

Jonathan Filburn

Where do I even start? First, the keys to our room when we first arrived didn’t even work I’m not even sure if there was anything inside the pillow cases and the bed was as hard as a rock Has anyone ever heard of staying at a hotel for four nights and not once is turn down service performed or even offered? I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels on multiple occasions, including an instance where after requesting some towels none arrived

Last but not least there was no running water the day of my departure, which would be fine if there was some sort of notice However, when booking the room there was zero mention of this fact, as well as them not posting anything in the hotel until the night before when most guests were either gone or already asleep So, my girlfriend and I had to get ready for the day using water bottles provided by the front desk, which might have been the only helpful thing they did the entire stay Never in my life have I had to shower using Aquafina Interesting experience to say the least Overall there was little positives to speak of for our stay and I would not recommend this hotel to any future guest

Kashfia Firdous

The rooms were great as typically is in Westin and the location was excellent since it was so close to Tysons Corner However, the service was hugely lacking Except for a gentleman with a beard at the front desk, no one else seemed to not even know what they are supposed to do

Even after scheduling, they forgot to service my room One of them checked my ID in the middle of my stay, made no sense Anyways, hope the service improves as it’s a great location

Got set up in this hotel for a few nights do the work Very happy with this location This hotel was very clean staff is very friendly and rooms were really nice

I got me a double bedroom which was pretty spacious Thought the beds and pillows we’re a good quality and I slept pretty well Some of the best hotel towels I’ve ever had at least soft wise they didn’t rub my skin off while drying myself after a shower Each morning there was a little breakfast buffet, even though I had tickets it looks like it runs about $12 Pretty much the standard food pancakes, eggs, bacon Etc There was a little bar area they’re each night people tended to hang out at There was an extra fee for parking, they have a parking garage located underneath the hotel that you need a key card to open the automated gate to enter Very safe feeling, the elevator is required a key to be able to push your floor number And overall I thought access to the hotel from the main road was pretty easy on easy off It is Tysons area so traffic is always a nightmare here but there are ample restaurants in other activities pretty close I would definitely stay here again!

Paul Boakes

Staff helpful, hotel smart and clean Car parking no problem ($10/day, although free on the street outside)I’ve stayed here twice, and had no problems

Housekeeping on request only, but had no problem getting the towels changes every few days Room at the end of the corridor was quiet Bed huge Aircon effectiveI’d stay here againOddly nice fire hydrant just a few steps from the entrance – bit of a novelty for a visiting Brit!

danasia griner

On top of having to pay for breakfast and parking there’s extra fees added onto your room that I had no idea about The comforters are thin and the rooms barely give you a cozy stay away from home feeling There were ants in the room a few times and no one came to clean up even AFTER I called and asked if someone could be sent up

The receptionist said yes and I came back to a room that was still dirty The area was great and next to the train station so that’s why it had two stars if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t have stayed

For $270/night I was expecting a bit more You can book the Ritz across the street for around that price! The property was very clean and well maintained, but the decor felt quite dated No microwave and no free breakfast either

I’ve now stayed at all three Marriott properties in Tysons Corner The only one I will stay at again is the one on Rt 7 just off 495

Tom Marcin

A two-bit hotel with horrible air-conditioning Unhelpful front desk As soon as i walked in the hotel i became so horribly congested each night I couldn’t sleep

I should have left after first night Will never go back even though my office is across the street They don’t even offer a bottle of water to their guests who pay OVER $400+ on some nightsWhat a hot mess No amenities in the roomNot only will I not return to this Courtyard, i vow to never do any Marriott properties the rest of my lifeHilton, here i come

Robertq Quarture

I am a loyal Marriott Platinum member I am extremely disappointed in the new customer service, where you need to await your call for anything, to be answered by outsourced Customer Service The minimum wait is usually 10 minutes and they have no idea what they are talking about

They recite policy and have no flexibility My issue was a sudden death of a very close family member and Marriott would not refund a pre paid hotel night I will have no problem taking all my business and my company business elsewhere I have banned the use of any Marriott brand within our company It is a shame what Marriott has become!!

Staff was phenomenal This includes the front desk, bar and restaurant staff All were top notch, friendly, cheerful and helpful

Room was amazing Super comfortable, the desk was great and the television was above top great with the additional appsThe entire property (inside and out) was kept very cleanDropped a star for the price of bar items, seemed a bit expensive Even with the $15/day credit, everything in the restaurant is expensive The food was goodNot any fault of the hotel, but there are limited eateries within walking distance

ankana bhatacharya

Last minute booking for memorial weekend, decent prices Room was fantastic, staff was helpful too! We got an upgrade to the 9th floor for 20$ extra per day and I’m so glad that we took it The bed was comfortable, the shower was so good, definitely felt the luxury there!Additionally, coffee downstairs was excellent and the bar was happening

There was a happy hour between 5-6 PM when we spent a lot of time in the lobby chit chatting and sipping 5$🍻

Jesús Wong

Very nice place to stay, ample rooms, coffee machine is welcoming, nice views, very convenient “pantry”store with basics as ice cream, good sandwiches and small first aid last minute itemsThe gym looks good but I didn’t had time to use itBut mostly and more important: the staff was very helpful and accommodating with our needs

Amazing hotel Incredible staff Angel, Jonathan and the whole team took care of everything during my multi-week stay here

The Maldonado’s

Great location and amenities Morton’s is one of my favorites, and they are located in many nice hotels like this one Make sure you visit on the evening

Our tour had breakfast arrangements, missed the eggs on the last two mornings of the trip To their credit, staff was kind, attentive and accommodating Starbucks in the house too (for those Cafe lovers like us) Safe “business” area, and parking is just around the corner Modern feel with plenty to do around the hotel

Eva S

It’s a good business hotel, quiet standard, could be any brand really Pros and cons below:PROS:Large spacious room with nice expansive views onto the main street, gets good light during the day Comfy bed

There’s a desk to work at if need be Nice staff at the hotel, very accommodating and caring Very clean, good observation of covid rules etc Food served during the event was good too, tasty, good temperature- I recommend the current kitchen staff can certainly cater for breakfast tooAreas to IMPROVE:No breakfast, no pool/spa; the air in the hotel was so dry most event delegates were complaining about difficulty to sleep at night, myself included – I strongly recommend to get lots and lots of green plants, maybe install some air humidifiers for the winter months The shower head was full of limescale – need to check those details and replace Maybe add a picture(s) in the room, some softer interior details – interior now looks so sterile, plain

Mitch Grussing

We visited DC for leisure, and we felt that this hotel was the perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and value Driving in from out of town, it was easy to get to this hotel by car, and the Metro stop made it easy to get to all the big sights around the capital Our rooms were clean and nice, and the bed was comfortable

Yes, you have to pay for breakfast here, but there are tons of options nearby, including several in the lobby I was perfectly happy with Starbucks and Dunkin; my husband and his parents sought fancier eats in the morning The only bummer was that there’s no pool and hot tub But still I’d give the place a full five stars because we were truly satisfied with this hotel

Two to three months ago, we requested 15 or so rooms for a weekend and were told to contact them at the time of the stay in order to ensure that the rooms were connected and in the same part of the hotel Only for us to be told day of that that would not be feasibleCheck-in was painful – we had to stay with our guests to help with the check-in process – and even then it took 1

5 hours for nearly every room to get checked in The staff seemed confused about who had/had not checked in and relied on a spreadsheet THAT WE CREATED in order to keep them organized For a “new/top class” hotel, their technology literacy could really use improvementTwo weeks later, we are dealing with incorrect charges on cards, higher than promised rates, confusion over guests’ names and their room charges, and staff who continue to pass us around and follow up with high-level details instead of taking the time to investigate what went wrong on their end We were considering this space for a wedding venue, but the utter frustration we have faced since has quickly ruled this place outThe hotel directs guests to a $10 / night overnight parking garage that takes forever to get out of The signage to get in and out of this hotel is unclear and there do not appear to be any plans to change it The hotel clearly relies on business travelers and knows itFinally, as of 6/16/22, we were offered the equivalent of one night free as compensation for our troubles We gave them 30 nights worth of business Will never come back nor recommend this place to anyone – wedding, regular stay, anything This has turned me off the Hyatt brand for personal use

Noel James

The hotel was nothing short of excellent The hospitality was amazing I stayed here for my birthday weekend and the front desk hostess, Catherine was amazing! She paid attention to every detail of my request and made sure that my needs were catered for

I had the King room with a view of the city And it was just gorgeous The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was equally up to par and scrumptious! It’s a gorgeous property that I would definitely revisit anytime I’m in Tysons

Tim O’Neill

The room was fine but it is a ‘pet friendly’ hotel which apparently means you can bring your dog to stay with you, leave it in the room and go out and party all night while it sits in the room alone howling Unbelievable! Good luck sleepingWho knows when the adjoining restaurant opens on a Sunday morning? Nearest place open at 7am for breakfast was Silver Diner a mile away

It was fantastic!

Expected better for this price and 4 stars rating Difficult to park around the hotel, parking for 35 $ a night Simple layer of glass on the windows, so rooms are noisy along the street

Acoustic properties of walls between rooms are not the best either Front desk staff was not pleasant There is water for free and the beds are very comfortable though The rooms are clean and in correct state

Arthur LIEGEOIS

We booked one night last weekend to see the cherry blossoms (that were early this year!)My wife called and spoke to Laura We were told we would have a king size bed and a view over the city

When we arrived at the desk, we were told that we had a room on the second floor (not so much of a view!) and two queen size beds! The employee was almost rude with us and told us that that’s what we had bookedWe didn’t complain much because it was for one night, but we felt like someone had lied to usThe room was clean, the view of the backyards of two houses was okThe next morning we decided to have breakfast at the restaurant My eggs Benedict were the worst I have ever had and when my wife complained about her Greek yogurt having a bad after taste, the manager claimed that it was a new container and wasn’t out of date, and pretended she didn’t understand my wife asking her if someone in the kitchen could taste the yogurt My advice: avoid the restaurant by all means! The main advantage of this hotel is its location, off of Georgetown, and we’ll connected

Padft12laws2liv

Stayed here 6 nights for business Gave me an adjoining room I could hear the adjoining room’s music every night like the speaker was in my room

The last night they decided to blaze it and filled my room with weed smoke I called the front desk and they did nothing Slept with the windows open because I had nowhere else to goKept finding feathers on my things Figured out they were coming from the Swiss cheese they call a duvet which they placed between two sheets with no cover The entire duvet was covered in pin holes with some massive ones scattered throughout They also didn’t clean the room well as someone’s personal conditioner was left in the showerYou’re better off at another hotel

We stayed with a group and had an absolutely incredible experience! From the amazing scent in the hotel right as you walk in to the service throughout our stay, everything was simply top notch We interacted with a tall lady working for the housekeeping department and she virtually ran to complete our request We were glad to catch up with her and the housekeeping manager later so we could thank them properly for making our stay just wonderful!

The room was very clean, but the desk had a broken drawer and they used a small strip of packing tape to try and hold the drawer up The stand shower is not sealed so water runs all over the bathroom floorThe hotel bar was nice and the bartender was super friendly and sweet

She was a great conversationalist with a cheery personality

Clean and nice location Staff was friendly Managerial staff was confrontational with hockey players and parents

Have been to many hotels much friendlier to hockey teams If we were there and not associated with a team, would be a great place to stay Beautiful facility, room was very clean If you’re going with a team, suggest maybe find an alternate hotel

Before covid, I would have rated this hotel at 4 stars I give it 2 stars because the bed is comfortable and the lobby is nice, with a decent area to grab a bite to eat This hotel has gone way downhill since 2020

I used to stay there 2-3 times a year, then recently went back Maid service is only EVERY FOUR DAYS, unless you request it I requested it and was told that there were no guarantees My request went unanswered, NO MAID SERVICE The towels are threadbare and reminded me of the high school gym towels Having stepped off an airplane, I wanted a shower upon checking in and had to request extra towels (a second one for my hair, and then towels for the morning) Then, when I went to get into the bed, there was hair on the sheets! NOT MINE! They did promptly give me a new room and the next day, I found stray hairs on a supposedly clean bath towel What used to be a clean and comfortable hotel is no longer such Housekeeping and cleanliness standards are clearly being compromised here This is NOT what I would expect from a Marriott!! Next time, I will see if I have better luck at the Hilton

Great hotel Rooms are pretty up-to-date Everything clean and worked well

Comfortable bed and a huge TV Convenient location to the highway, and no road noise Plenty of parking available Buffet breakfast was included in my room rate Not the best, but nothing bad about it Check-in slow because there was only one person at the desk, but he worked as fast as he could I would stay here again

This place is beyond disappointing The customer service leaves much to be desired I requested housekeeping – in person at the front desk – and no one ever came to clean the room in two days

The rooms are very dark with minimal lighting The patio doors don’t open and don’t have screens so there’s no ventilation And the bathroom was not well cleaned, the tub was visibly dirty This seems to be a trend with Marriott

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and staff Price is very competitive The staff were very kind and welcoming

I only stayed one night, I checked in around 5pm and left at 8 the next morning, so because of my time restraints I chose not to go directly to staff to see if they could make things right The bathroom was not properly cleaned The sink had hair from a previous shave, and I had a towel that didn’t seem clean either We had a chaise in the room, but it had some stains on it I am hoping this was just a fluke, because I would love to stay again They also charge $17 for breakfast, but we left early to grab breakfast elsewhere If it were for the disappointment with cleanliness, this would have been an easy 5 star review

It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, however, I have never had such terrible customer service When I first checked in, the receptionist was actually wonderful Checked in, went to my room, went to bed

I was then woken up at 5:30 am to the phone ringing I didn’t answer It rang a second time Still just waking up so I didn’t answer it in time Went back to bed Someone then started knocking on my door, yelling in my room saying “have you checked in?” Mind you, it is 5:30 am and I checked in the previous day at 4 pm for two nights I answer the door and the guy writes my name down and says I wasn’t reserved? So he took my name and said he’ll take care of it I go back to bed and my phone rings AGAIN and I answer it and no one is on the other end Then it rings YET AGAIN and I answer angrily, and they say “do you have a reservation?” To which I said my name and said I will head to the lobby I hang up and they called…again I didn’t answer and went straight to the front desk The receptionist then said “the last receptionist didn’t check you on all the way but I found your reservation and figured it out” and proceeded to give me a voucher for free breakfast For only that morning That I ultimately missed because I was woken up at 5:30 am and it took me a couple hours to fall back asleep after that No other explanation, and no other way to make it right in my eyes So so disappointed

The overall service at the property exceeded my expectations Eric, is an asset to this property and understands what it takes to leave a lasting impression on a guest Eric paid attention to detail and anticipated my needs by providing extra blankets, pillows, and a roll away bed in the suite prior to my arrival

I arrived with 4 exhausted teenage boys who traveled and competed in a basketball championship Check In was fast and there was no wait to be checked in Everything was prepared for us when we arrived, the room was large and clean, the roll Away bed was turned down and prepared for our late arrival the beds were both comfortable The property was spotless, Inside and out with plenty of parking the area felt very safe, and secure The buffet style Breakfast was great, offering healthy and quick options for families on the go, or a chef to prepare the breakfast of your choice, which is complimentary Eric went out of his way multiple times to ensure We had a perfect stay and he is a great example of what exceptional hospitality looks like

The first Embassy Suites I’ve visited that wasn’t actually a suite It was a single, medium size, room It had a large TV and entertainment center that the used to slightly partition it, but still a single room

Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and well stocked The drink tickets were great Parking was not free, but when my uber dropped me off, the arms were up And it looked like an ample size parking lot I didn’t eat breakfast, but based on other reviews it’s tasty
