Honestly, this isn’t a terrible hotel for the price and location, but there are some things you should be aware of1 Book online! I called and they said their cheapest room was $125 (before taxes) but it stated on their website that it was $77 (before taxes) a night for two beds in a non-smoking room

Just book online because it will probably be a lot cheaper It doesn’t hurt to call, but I almost guarantee, based on my experience, that it will cost less to book online than call I also didn’t have any problems checking in since I used the company website, not a third party organization2 The breakfast is a continental breakfast, so don’t expect to be full There were a few packaged muffins, donuts, and a bit of fruit I was also told it is from 6-9, but the sign at the front stated a different time3 There are people hanging around the area, so arrive before it gets dark and be aware of your surroundings A cop was also called, so it might not be the best area…4 The room smelled a bit funkyPositives:-Price-Location (25 minutes to the airport)-Pretty clean-Good room size

THE FRONT DESK LADIES ARE THIEVES ! Keep receipts, and REPORT, the real owners are never there, and that’s because they instruct the ladies to steal on their own face cards The more heavy set Caucasian lady even told me after 3pm!!! they can charge however they want and I don’t have to get my money back because it’s up to her No policy saying this at all just her wordsWe spent week after week hundreds after hundreds of dollars with this hotel

We loved the service and even appreciated when one of the front desk clerks gave advice to book online for a cheaper daily rate I have been booking rooms for weeks online back to back without a problem, one day I leave the hotel instead of paying over another night because I wanted to go back home to grab some things & not waste the money if I wasn’t at room When I came in to pick up my key, the front desk lady ask me for 100$ CASH ONLY on top of the $100 I already paid for reservations Never happened Then she asked for a card different from the one that I booked with none of this in policies and I will be reporting I work from home so I have lots of time; to make sure they pay for the terrible service, KEEP YOUR RECIEPTS!

Very clean rooms, outside building and parking lot, very pet friendly Stayed there with , my wife, 3 year old grandson and our 3 Dobermans No questions asked about dogs

(Great)Would give it 5 stars but the only disappointment was the free breakfast Your choice of banana, orange Tiny donuts are small muffinsbut they did have a small microwave there at breakfast bar (for what I have no idea? Maybe to cook the bananas, lol)

Overall the stay was fine For a newer facility the rooms are showing wear already After checking in and going to my room I do my usual scan and noticed that my bathroom was not cleaned

Even though it had fresh towels the shower floor was dirty and there was something sticky on the floor I requested a new room and the hotel staff was nice and accommodated the change The next room was a little better but the shower was again dirty I was tired of lugging my things so I stayed in the room I was concerned about the petri dish light fixtures in the entrance but for one night I just dealt with it Ok for a quick stay but I wouldn’t bring my kids here

We booked a room for honeymoon night before our flight The day before my husband went to check on the room! They told him “someone” called & cancelled our reservations Funny thing is that no one knew about our reservations, WE didn’t call to cancel them, neither did we receive an email saying it was cancelled

They almost ruined our wedding night, the hotel themselves had cancelled our reservations because no one else had our reservation number but us & them I strongly recommend you to find somewhere else to stay than here, thank God my husband checked the day before, we were able to get us a room in Carrollton before our flight left in the morning to our honeymoon destination

Expensive (for us anyway) but it’s really nice We just had a regular room but it had a sofa which was nice since we had guests for part of the evening The bed was super comfortable

Fire pit out back was lovely Pool was a little cold but on good shape Staff was extremely friendless and helpful And it’s within walking distance of the square

Patty Mills

I haven’t stayed at a Marriott property in quite a while, but when I did it was usually at a Courtyard They were NOTHING like this Courtyard! This is a beautiful property and very clean The location was excellent and within walking distance of plenty of things to do or to eat

I was in Carrollton specifically for a wedding at White Crest Farm and will likely have no reason to revisit, but if I did, I’d definitely stay here again

Last minute trip with 7 & 9 yo grands,,10 + hr drive, arrived 930pmTook -15 secto check in

I had the pleasure of staying here and it was a pleasantly surprising experience Due my attendance of Swift Academy’s Truck driving school I stayed here for a little over 3 weeks and gotten used to the accommodations; nice water pressure in the shower, comfortable beds, soft linens, clean facilities and nice staff Every more I had the continental breakfast of pancakes and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches (just just got a waffle maker too) I would recommend to anyone that needed a spot passing through the area

Christian Burns

Pretty decent hotel for the pricePros:-clean room-comfortable bed-decent amenities-thick walls/ very quiet-polite hotel staff-thick, comfortable pillowsCons:-shower water never really got “hot”-water pressure is lacking-could use some updatingOther than that, was a pleasant experience, especially for the price

I was driving through the state and decided to call and see if they had rooms but more importantly I wanted to know if they had parking for tractor trailers the young lady At the counter stated that they had parking for trucks I wound up having to park At the entrance of the hotel Which is not a big deal but they really didn’t have parking for tractor trailers

She checks me in and tells me that my room is the furthest one in the whole hotel I asked her if she had a room that was closer and she stated that she was almost booked I didn’t really think about it but when I got to my room and saw how far it was I decided to call her back and see if she had other rooms available Being that she stated that she was almost booked I asked her if she had a closer room And she said she was almost booked agan Long story short I asked her if she could put me in a different room and she told me that I COULD LEAVE! if I didn’t want to Is stay in the room I was at I know that people nowadays are overworked But I was not mean to the girl at all I was just trying to get a better and closer the room That’s just not the way you do business! I may or may not contact corporate we’ll see tomorrow when I talk to the manager There’s a good chance I’m not gonna call corporatepeople like that get what they deserve and I don’t mean anything bad but they’ll get the same treatment one day 💯X’s

Room was decent, carpet needs to be replaced (there’s stains on it and its old) bathroom is clean but very outdated Other than about 2 things, this hotel is perfect Definitely will be staying again I recommend

My wife and I stayed here the week of 6/2/22-6/5/22 We travelled to Dallas Georgia to see some family for her birthday First off we had a room on the first floor and we could here people above us jumping and stomping on the floor all night making it hard to sleep

We called the front desk to report it but it never really stopped A hour after we checked out on 6/5, I received a phone call from the manger saying he was charging me $100 for smoking in the room It was just me and my wife and we never smoked in the room We never smoked anywhere on the property I am a choice rewards member and stay at comfort hotels all the time I know the rules about smoking and would never smoke in the room I explained this to the manager who by the way was very rude He would not even tell me his name when I asked He told me to come back up there and he would tell me Again I am a hour out from the hotel driving back to Illinois I am not driving back to the hotel He then told me the smoking fee is $250 but they are only charging me $100 If you say I smoked in the room which I did not, then why are you not charging me the $250? The hotel was just looking for some way to charge a fee I am totally disputing this with the bank and with corporate I would never stay there again and would recommend if you are in the area that you stay some where else

When I got fired from my job I walked here and applied for a job here as well I didn’t get to see the rooms and or receive the service, but I am sure that its good And niceAlthough when I was there, someone mad a compliant about bugs in the room, and then someone also reported there car stolen and missing

All in all it a good place

Linda Russell

I reserved a room for myself in online I arrived on the correct date around 5:00pm The clerk informed me he was to charge my credit card for the night, that was fine, however he also needed to charge my card $100 for a refundable deposit to cover any damages I may do to the room

I said no, that’s never been done before The lobby was dingy and dark and the exterior was old and shabby I felt the room had to be just as bad I told him I wasn’t going to stay there and he said fine The next morning, after staying at a much nicer hotel, I looked at my credit card charges and the crummy hotel charged my credit card for the room I am not happy and will never stay in a Choice Hotel againBelow is the manager’s response that is incorrect There are two charges on my credit card One that the clerk charged when I stood there and then credited back The second charge was done during the night and there is no credit back I am being charged for the room that I did not stay in because the facilities were so bad

We had a great stay here! The campground is small and cozy with some great sites! The playground was great and our 3 kids enjoyed it The Duck Race was the biggest hit! Jon, the camp host, showed us to our site and was super nice The campground was so quiet and the lack of traffic was refreshing! Dump station was easily accessible and clean, great water pressure on the hose too! Bathhouse was clean and roomy

Roads are good sized and paved, sites are gravel and well leveled We will definitely return to this spot!

Jennifer Luettinger

Booked via the website and only received a receipt and a number to text We text the number for details and only the hours of check in were sent We arrive at the gate and don’t have a code for it

We call the number and an older woman answers and says a text was sent and it says delivered on her end so we MUST have received it She would not believe we did not receive the text and argued that the gate code was sent via text We’re sitting at the locked gate with no code so we obviously do not have it She finally relents and reads us the text but will not resend or tell us what number it was sent to We get to our site and it is extremely hard to back into due to tree stumps and picnic table at the site The camp host helped us guide our trailer on, he was very kind and helpful Playground is from 1970’s? Small and run down with a surprisingly large amount of trash strewn about The duck race pumps were mostly broken Two out of the eight worked so we had fun with those There was a slack line setup and my littles enjoyed it The bathhouse was closed the entire time we were there (6pm-8am) with no reason why Our sites fire pit had around 50 cigarette butts in it and several paper towels with brown substance on them so that was very off putting to see

Amy Smith

Not suited for tent camping at all If you dont mind being shoulder to shoulder with the next RV and like a very community setting, this is the place for you It is a little hard to find, but a nice adventure

It seems quaint and clean enoughI would suggest adding pictures of each campsite on the website so that prospective campers know what to expect

Great getaway and perfectly tucked away for a peaceful escape The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable We ate at the restaurant for dinner And it was delicious

Fresh to order and I’d say reasonable priced The pool lake view is breathtaking The rooms were extremely clean and very spacious We also had the opportunity of attending an event in the event hall and it was beautiful! Buffet style food but again delicious There are many things to do however I believe for members only because they didn’t have anything available to do when we were there But I did work outside near the pool with a cup of coffee and it was so peaceful It’s a great place for a family get away or even team building for employees The property is huge, you can enjoy great scenic walks and just soak in the calming ambiance

I stayed at Foxhall Resort for a company sales meeting / retreat in the spring of 2022 Very nice grounds with a cool breeze (at least in May) With lakes and over 1,000 acres too explore, I thoroughly enjoyed myself

We did skeet shooting and had a great time Three staff was wonderful and the good of high quality It was not crowded at all when I visited

brady pitts

My wife and I just had a wedding here and had a terrible experience It looks great online but that’s it They are very misleading, make empty promises, and are only after your money

The people are terrible here especially Stephanie the wedding coordinator (who reeked of smoke the entire day and stunk up the venue everywhere she went) We had several guests ask who she was and why she smelled so bad at our wedding She’s very unprofessional They change up their “rules” every week and charge money over the simplest of things I tried to leave a comment on their Instagram but they deleted it If you want your occasion to be run smooth pick somewhere else You will be charged for water here so please look around to get better bang for your buck elsewhere Will never come back here

Mr EverythingMan

First of all, Vince is the man! I’ve met a few interesting characters at hotels, some of which have even done some really nice things for us, but Vince goes above and beyond to ensure every guest is satisfied Our biggest issue as people who stay up late is housekeepers knocking on the door early in the morning Every hotel we stay at we ask for a late check-out and a Do Not Disturb

Every time they promise and assure us, but it still happens anyway, and it’s always someone different at the front desk in the morning anyway But Vince actually bet his job on it! He said if anyone knocked on our door before we were ready to Checkout, he would resign immediately Sure enough, for the first time ever, we slept in peace Vince was still there at noon after Checking us in at 11pm He even made us two fresh pots of coffee without us even having to ask! He single-handedly made our stay Other than that, the hotel itself is alright Very Simple They don’t even have a map because they don’t need to My only complaint with the room is the shower It took me a long time to figure out how to get the water from the fossil to the head And it kept switching back no matter which way I turned the knob It was also Scaulding hot and either way I twisted it just made it even hotter No cold water Otherwise, just what we needed

The rooms are nice and cozy and small We did have a good ride to go from the interstate I don’t know why it took us to the back roads but we did make it here

My bathroom floor is leaking from the toilet but it’s only for a night so we’re not going to really make a stink about it That’s where I rated it four stars Other than that the seats are clean Shower seem to be clean, pretty good and the toilet as well they also serve a free continental breakfast which is listed in the pictures below and it’s actually not too bad I hope you guys enjoy

Marcy Gudroe

I’ve chose to write it for 5 stars because it’s not the hotels fault that a woman with a pit bull kept harassing I feel that the woman that night on desk certainly could’ve asked her to stop harassing guests to do things for her friend whom was homeless and on the couch because her friend in 125 made sure not to do anything besides threaten other guests to help her She talked poorly of the management but honestly other than her hitting people up for help I just tried to ignore her

I’d love to hear some feedback from the manager on fixing these things and not having someone threaten you in the lobby constantly I stayed there with my little boy Him & I enjoyed the stay but I was very upset she was doing this in front of my child Everyone else I encountered was very friendly I was happy with prices & cleanliness They are very prompt I don’t know what the kids activities are? I also was never made aware of room service? The only issue I had was being threatened by the woman in 125 which she informed me the manager & her have a bond that’s why she’s there I don’t know I don’t care just stay away from me & my child Have a great day! Either way I was there because my ac went out so I wasn’t there to entertain the drama

Denise Sipple

First, you need to remember that you are staying in Hiram, Ga, and not downtown Atlanta The rooms are clean, and the decor is stylish The bed is comfortable

The carpet should be cleaned soon, but I can only imagine the never-ending cycle that is for them To be honest, I don’t walk barefoot at The W either I would stay here again If you are here on a Sunday and looking for a church, New Season Church is just up the street Excellent pastor and worship team Their youth pastor is awesome also

It’s been over a week but I am still floored by the gross lack of service and disrespect at The Comfort Inn, I had to write this reviewAfter an incredibly long day (12+ hours) of travel in an old, moving truck on 6/3/22, we finally arrived at the hotel just after 4a The front door was open but the lobby doors were locked

We knocked, waited, eventually rang the main number and the front desk agent finally came out Our experience with this agent was horrendous; She……refused to open the doors to the lobby when we asked if I could use the restroom during the check-in process, despite us clearly being guests since we brought in luggage…accused of us speeding through the parking lot, even though we explained she probably just heard the engine revving loudly during normal acceleration of this older, moving truck Regardless, she threatened that we better not do it again…yelled at us for using the “wrong trashcan” (?) when we were throwing away trash that we found in the rental truck, and worst of all…… while I was in the bathroom, SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON US! When I asked her why, she said my bf was being belligerent I told her that we were tired and just trying to check in while she was making the process unnecessarily difficult I asked her to hang up the phone, as she knew clearly she was not in ANY danger whatsoever and that calling the police was ridiculous (not to mention potentially dangerous) She refused and at that point, I just asked my bf if we could go as I didn’t want to stay there anymore We got in the truck and sure enough, two police officers were there We explained to the officers what happened, and in minutes they let us go without incident, suggesting alternate places around the area where we might be able to get a room for the nightIf this is the training that the staff at the Comfort Inn undergoes to treat their guests, they’ve got something incredibly wrong This front desk clerk was rude, completely unempathetic and wasted police efforts and time on a non-emergency situation She also refused to identify herself when my bf asked for her name since she didn’t have on a name tag We took her picture so management could be clear about with whom we interacted and are ready to supply thatIt is upon my own diligence that I have written this review, however, my boyfriend is a passionate, former hospitality professional with more than 10 years in the industry I’m sure he will follow up, as these things often go unaddressed and we want to be sure the necessary parties see this reviewUse caution when booking here!

The hotel is nice Clean The staff was great, amenities were great as well

The problem is the Manager Kim will look for any way to charge you extra and unwilling to work with you I travel for work and have stayed at Holiday Inn’s for the past 2 years Other places have worked with me on rates and understood if I had to arrive late or leave early Not here Reading other reviews about the Manager, I’d have to believe them Our Company has decided not to use Holiday Inn any more, we have switched to Marriott, much nicer and the management really works with our company

The tub filled up while I was in the shower as if there is so much hair and gunk in the drain 🤮 ! The most nasty feeling ever having dirty water up to my toddlers legs! Towels had someones fine hair in them , had a cigarette smell in a nonsmoking room If I could’ve gotten a refund I would’ve! I’ve never been to a holiday inn Express in this condition inside the rooms , the lobby is the only nice area Check in was easy though

A nice HIE with clean and comfortable rooms Good breakfast and of course those cinnamon rolls that my wife loves We were able to park our car and trailer where it was visible from the room which made us sleep better

There is a asian buffet and Cracker Barrel across the street The pool was not well decorated and very plain The biggest negative is the number of Holiday Inn Express labeled as Atlanta West I have had a similar problemwith a Hilton in Jackson MS and Jackson TN which caused me to go to the wrong hotel The wife left here phone charger when we left in the morning and we called and they had found it and we were able to pcik it up That was appreciated since iPhone chargers are pricey

No real complaints except shelving in the shower area would be nice Other than this slight cosmetic oversight, my stay was good The room was spacious, clean and fully stocked

Housekeeping was very nice and attentive The lady at the front desk who checked us in, was also very nice, polite and attentive The breakfast was delicious and I was very pleased to see an meat alternative to pork; turkey sausage patties This was a great choice!

I and my guests had a very good time during my overnight stay It was my birthday and we were celebrating with a pajama party I made the mistake of leaving my carry case in the bathroom with all of my personals in it

And the sweet lady at the front desk went and secured it for me If I had to stay there again I would do it no matter what the cost It’s a great place atmosphere is easy and the food’s not too bad either

Night of 12/21/21Bugs bugs bugs!Very unfortunate, hotel staff were nice, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, hotel was very nice and well-kept EXCEPT: for all the BUGS on the walls and ceiling in our room Creepy Crawley feeling all night long

When I explain this to the lady at the desk in the morning told her I would’ve left except my wife and I with two dogs were exhausted from traveling over 800 miles She tried telling me they can’t do anything about the bugs because they aren’t allowed to kill them I call BS on that For the money we paid for one night stay we should not of had to put up with bugs like this The girl at the desk made no attempt to apologize or make any adjustments to the price Therefore we will never stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone out there I keep my dogs in better surroundings than thisI sent an email to the management and requested a reply, no one has gotten back to me which This tells me they don’t really care to resolve this issue Do not stay here until they cure this problem Very unfortunate this could be a very nice stop otherwiseVery disgusted customer
