The floor tiles in the room and bathroom need to be replaced not a deal breaker but for the price the floors should be updatedOverall- we had an amazing experience, great location We loved staying here, going out to the balcony and seeing the ocean, fishing pier dolphins etc

Breakfast was beyond expectations – huge selection and very efficient manager and staff running it VA Beach is our vacation spot for 20+ years now stayed at Sandcastle many times and will recommend to anyone!

Binod Gupta

This is a hotel with good location which is near the fishing pier on the boardwalk The breakfast buffet is also good with biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, bread, fruits, coffee and juice It can get a bit crowded sometimes

Staff at the front desk were courteous and even let us check in early 3 stars due to the size of the room We had a double queen bed which barely fit the room Rooms are very small compared to other hotels that we have stayed We did have a balcony with great view of the boardwalk and ocean Hotel is close to restaurants and shops, a great location There is a small fitness room as well The swimming pool is on the second floor but is very deep for kids It starts at 4 feet to 6 feet My kids were a bit scared to play in the pool There is a kiddie pool which is for very small kids Overall a great hotel but if you don’t mind the small rooms the it can be for you I personally will stay at a hotel with larger rooms

Daryle Abrahams

Just the TicketA last-minute booking at a great price (ton and a half) resulted in finding this gem on the boardwalk, by the pier Breakfast, featuring Americana staples, was stocked sufficiently and there was some fresh fruit tooParking is included and the second floor is ideal for Senior Citizens to gain access to the hotel, sans stairs

Be sure to check in first as you need a hotel key for access from the parking deckAs usual, staffing makes a difference The team, including Christine and Pam were accommodating as were the Ocean’s 14 staff for dinner on the boardwalk itselfSome live music, on a Tuesday night no less, added to what has to be a, for the money, five-star review Bravo BW+ team We will see you again

Lorei Cwirko

The location was superb! If you want to be on the beach in a relatively clean and affordable place where you can relax and enjoy the oceanfront experience this is a great place The housekeeping staff was pleasant and friendly but the front desk hospitality help has some real opportunities for improvement The on-site restaurant is a well kept secret

The food was extremely good and help, although obviously short handed like the rest of the world theses days, still maintained good service with a smile I would recommend this place for couples, families or any others looking for a beachfront experience as long as you can get past a hospitality crew that is not very hospitable

Maddie Cruz

I rated it 5 star for what they are (it’s no 5 start hotel) however I don’t have any complaints For the price you get what you pay for and then some I read reviews and was highly discouraged but I tried it anyways, I read there were roaches – we did not experience that

Pros- it’s right on the beach, location is convenient, lots of stores in the area, boardwalk not to far, places to eat, staff was friendly and fairly priced especially in comparison to surrounding hotelsCons- it’s dated, although it appears there may have been some updating it still looks vintage, no long mirror (which isn’t major but still nice to have ) no outdoor pool (they do have one indoor) need heavier blankets cause the AC definitely works! Not bad for a quick couple day stay, All in all would stay again

Ronnie Morris

I was not that impressed I travel quite frequently and have stayed at several resorts and beachfront hotels for a lesser amount and was much more satisfied I would say you get what you pay for however I spent a pretty penny for just 4 days and for the amount of money I spent, there was no complimentary anything except for coffee

I do not think they believe in comforters because they provided throw blankets as the alternative There’s a mini fridge but no microwave to warm any leftovers The bathroom was extremely small and lets not discuss the toilet tissue they use I literally had to go to Walmart to purchase my own The indoor pool was not cleaned and they left the windows to the pool area closed so no ventilation whatsoever It felt like a sauna in there The benefits were the selection of restaurants to choose from within walking distance, the ocean view, and the proximity to the boardwalk and pier For my personal experience, I wouldn’t stay at this particular resort in the future

Where to start, well maybe 67500 a night! Entering the suite the heat was not on, it was 28 degrees outside The suite was poorly decorated, mixed matched furniture

The curtain rod in the sitting room was bent and the drape was hanging askew One robe and one slipper Yes, just on slipper and no hangers 67500 a night! Of course we called management They did bring up a robe, hangers, but no slippers We turned the heat on My husband used the toilet, when he lifted the seat there was dried urine on the toilet top Another call to management Same manager arrived examined the urine stains It was very late, we had traveled 10 hours, so, we told him to have it cleaned the next day We were gone very early and did not return until after 10 P M The toilet was not cleaned, the mini bar was not restocked and the heat was off again! We called the manager Same young man arrived visibly embarrassed when we showed him the same urine stains He did call a service person who cleaned the bathroom He also brought stock for the mini bar He was very apologetic and offered to remove our parking charges OK, 67500 a night; the parking charges were never removed from the bill The hotel is a beautiful, historic building and the landscaping is stunning, but the standards and service are deplorable Really don’t waste you money

Courtney Nankervis

Excellent customer service and very clean hotel!! The bell man were the absolute best part on top of the cookie service they do at night We stayed in the bridal suite because it was my wedding and it was the most beautiful room for me and all my bridesmaids to get ready in the morning of my wedding My wedding experience with the cavalier was more than I could’ve ever dreamed of

Excellent service from start to finish and the staff the entire night were so attentive to all our guests Everyone was very impressed with the wait staff that set all the plates down at each table at the same time Everything was perfectly cooked and the drinks by the bartender were 10/10 The only complaint I had at our wedding was the staff cleared the cake off peoples tables before they even had a chance to realize it had been served and most were untouched cake I would say don’t touch it if it hasn’t been touched yet and just wait until the end of the night for last call Also we had made party favors out of the champagne glasses we brought/bought and the staff cleared off most of those as well and a lot of our guests didn’t get them which meant all that money went into the trash That was the most disappointing part of the night and that is why I would give 4 stars instead of 5 Other than that everything else was amazing

Jana Scott

Oh my gosh! This hotel is absolutely magnificent The entire staff goes above and beyond They are friendly and helpful

The rooms are clean with any amenities you could imagine I wish we had better weather so we could have enjoyed the beach club more I recommend touring the distillery Very educational and the bourbon is fantastic!

Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms Very Comfortable beds Hotel is in the process of doing some renovations which has decreased the parking area

which caused a lot of headache However, the property did provide valet parking ( a tip is requested)Restaurant and bar is on the premises, but my party and I didn’t utilize eitherPool area is clean and seemingly well maintainedStaff is very friendly, helpful and exemplified superb customer service

Eric Rine

Maybe give them a try after the renovation? Each night I came back to the hotel after midnight There’s a card reader that is supposed to open the front doors after hours, but it was broken The light would turn green and it would click, but the door remained closed

I tried calling the hotel repeatedly but nobody picked up Finally, after 15+ minutes each night, the clerk returned and let me in Stated that security is supposed to alert them if someone is outside, but their radios aren’t working consistentlyThe result? I and other guests stood outside the main entrance (the only one open during construction) for 15+ minutes in below freezing temperaturesThe water took 15-20 minutes to get hot but they also didn’t tell me that when I checked in, so let’s hear it for cold showers!Breakfast was okay; not worth $16 but the food was decent Somehow the coffee was less than warm, even coming out of a sealed carafeJust the worst Holiday Inn experience in my 49 years Was really hoping for a nice stay in VA Beach I usually love IHG hotels

kerollos danial

James and Paris up in the front desk were the two most nicest and accommodating people I have met in my entire life I would recommend this location 100%% without a doubt Cleaning staff on the 10th floor were super nice and very friendly

Thank you so much again James and Paris for making my stay that much better I will definitely be coming back in 2 months

I just ended a long trip and was in need of a little R&R This hotel was perfect for what I needed The room was super clean and comfortable

And the spa tub was a nice touchThe location was great, everything was in walking distance Right in the middle of downtownThe best part of this hotel is the staff They made me feel at home, were friendly and checked in on me when I walked past the desk During breakfast the restaurant manager came out and asked every guest how things were going I had a nice chat with the front desk manager and even caught up with the housekeeping managerI also enjoyed everything about the lobby area (shout out to the fruit infused water!) I definitely recommend this hotel

Cathay Shepard

The desk staff was wonderful and friendly The problem was the cleanliness of my room A 7 day stay and my room was cleaned once

Not acceptable in this day in time especially with all the viruses and germs in this world now days I kept asking housekeeping to clean my room but no show Bathtub, toilet, and sink remained dirty with dirty towels all over my bathroom floor I’m so disappointed in the Hilton I hope they get better after this post so others won’t have to experience the things I went through Just expected more from an expensive hotel stay

Rebecca Jackson

The location is great if you want to stay near Town Center I prefer more near the beach but since I wasn’t paying for the hotel, I just enjoyed it as much as possibleThere is a pool

Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to use it because there were a lot of people using itThe rooms are big, at least for the king roomThe staff is GREAT! They are very nice and friendlyThe breakfast was ok I ordered 2 scrambled eggs which came with turkey sausage and potatoes The white of my eggs was a little runny I didn’t send them back because they were very busy so I ate around it and left the uncooked part on my plate The potatoes needed salt but otherwise good and the turkey sausage was good

Great value for money Great staff Superb location

When they say ocean view room they really mean it – no sly play of words All rooms have great views, with little balconies that have 2 chairs and a small tableBeach access is super convenient – out the rear exit, cross the bike path, and you are on the boardwalkParking lot here is small, but they have a larger parking garage across the streetHousekeeping service was running on a limited schedule when we went The guidance from what we understood was to let the front desk know by 11am that you wanted the room serviced, otherwise nothing gets refreshed – no new towels, no beds made, no trash removed

Malala Rabearisoa

The room had a gorgeous ocean view! The carpet was not vacuumed properly and had stains, but the overall experience at this hotel was great We took advantage of the fitness room which was well maintained and had towels available Ice cream shop and indoor pool are also in the first floor

Check out Fish Tails restaurant in the premises The breakfast was good So was the service

Seth Mann

Will be going back to this hotel more than likely Awesome location Right next to the park, right across the street from Sweet Frog

Okay hotel Free parking and the location are the highlights Wish the hotel coffee started earlier than 7am but there is coffee in the room

There are two restaurants connected which is also very convenient Also a gift shop with bike rentals Seemed like a good choice for families as there were many with kids the weekend I was there

Stephanie Wehrmann

An awesome hotel! It was myself and my husband as well as 4 kids We all had a really nice stay Ocean front hotel with easy access to the beach

There is even a wooden walkway near the hotel to go to the beach versus walking in the hot sand No need to bring soap, shampoo, or conditioner They provide dispensers for each of those items in the shower The hotel is connected to the Jumpin Shrimp restaurant and the breakfast there was amazing! We definitely plan on staying there again

The employees make this a five star experience Even a random worker who’d enter the elevator with us from time to time went out of their way to be pleasant and greet us Speaking of elevators- they are so fast! Love the free parking in the garage and loved being able to check in online and be being able to head straight to my room and use my phone as the key

The Market is a great spot to grab a Starbucks coffee and a quick breakfast to go The bath towels were large and fluffy and bed very comfortable The room was nice a spacious and included a lock box, but they suggest using the front office safety deposit boxes ( that was one thing that was odd having a safety box in the room with a disclaimer on it that the hotel was not responsible for items in it and suggested using the front desk Made me afraid to use the room one as I’ve never remember seeing a disclaimer one before )

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of the most well known in the area

I’ve been coming here for years If you choose this place you definitely won’t be let downVery nice and up-to-date We’ve serviced and remodeled a couple different homeowners in this building and I must say that the views are spectacular and the units are super spacious I’m sure they’re super expensive The staff is always very pleasant and it is always very clean

This hotel is very nice and looks fairly new if not completely new In addition to this the location is greatI’m being mean when you arrive you’ll be warmly welcomed by their doorman and upon entering you will see a well-appointed lobby with very nice amenities you will continue on to the back and check in with the very friendly staff

After you do this you will head up to your room and find a well-appointed room The view from my 7th floor room was very nice Within the room you will be welcomed by a well cooled room with a nice sized TV and Starbucks coffee The rooms are a nice size and you will not feel squeezed

We loved our stayThe front desk staff was very helpfulHe helped us with the parking as well

Our room was clean, but I cannot say the same thing for the corners !The location is one of the best of the hotel Also the live music was so amazingI was worried a bit about the elevator because there were just two elevators but overall we enjoyed our stay!

K “Mimiko” A

We greatly enjoyed our stay over the weekend! We stayed in one of the oversized suites The front desk staff were very helpful We had a check in past our time and we’re compensated for that, so that was great

I was struggling with the key cards and they quickly helped, even recognized me to do so Our room was very clean, no bugs or anything! Everything stocked The fridge for some reason kept popping open, but that could have been user error Luckily we only had alcohol in it The pool was nice, although I do wish there was more sitting available We were worried about music given some of the reviews but it was off by 10pm The elevator at times was a bit of a hassle but overall we enjoyed our stay!

Tom Roman

we have been coming to this hotel for about 6 years We love the location, hotel accommodations and the staff make the stay very enjoyable Especially Quincy, he has gone above and beyond to make sure our stay is pleasant

Thank you Quincy for a great vacation He is the answer to great customer service We look forward to seeing you in summer 2023

I do really like the atmosphere of the hotel, the indoor and outdoor pool is awesome especially the children’s area I like the location of the hotel with all the restaurants and shopsOverall the hotel itself is very nice, and pretty clean

However, the shower had a very high water pressure which can be pretty irritating on skin and the curtain rod being curved let a lot of water on the floor no matter how careful you tried to be I did notice a moist part of the wall in between the door frame and shower edge and you could easily poke a hole in the wall I also barely felt comfortable allowing my 2 toddlers to take a bath in the tub because I can guarantee those jacuzzi jets are not cleaned and sanitized regularlyAs for noise I’d say it wasn’t bad until about 2 days before check out a party not far above us was blasting heavy base crazy loud till about 3am Which was annoying especially since the hotel staff didn’t seem to care to do anythingIt was a bummer we didn’t receive typical house keeping (coming in to freshen and replace linens, vacuum, re-stock, etc) as well as no valet service at the momentStaff was always friendly and helpfulOverall we enjoyed our stay and we would consider coming back

Letizia Walker

We booked with Ocean Beach Club resort and were very pleased with our beach view suite Having a kitchen was helpful The only thing was the Queen size room that was requested really felt as a full size bed

The indoor pool felt more kid friendly and not a place to relax luckily the sister resort next door (connected by the same patio) has a 21and up for indoor pool and hot tub Honestly that saved our trip as my husband and I were on a kid free weekend Overall we enjoyed our stay the staff was friendly and my room was clean and just a few steps away from the beach and restaurants was perfect

j copeland

Overall not the best experience We booked a King suite, but got a Queen studio The panels on the side of the shower/tub fell off onto the floor

There was mold/mildew in the tiles A lot of air in the water lines I understand resort pricing but for what we paid we should at least have an ocean view The bed was hard and had stains on it Privacy curtains didn’t close all the way leaving a three inch gap in betweenPositives: The pools are nice and seem clean Plenty of elevators Staff was courteous Right on the beach Restaurant on-site Within walking distance to nicer hotels

Fantastic location The suites are great with kids Having a full kitchen was a life saver

The staff was wonderful everyone was very helpful I was hesitant with valet after the reviews but I think they’ve definitely fixed the problem They were great in explaining it all and it’s complimentary The rooms were great and can’t wait to get back!

Doug K.

Would have given this review a zero but that’s not an option Booked a reservation online for 2 rooms as a Marriott Platinum Rewards member I thought the reason for a reservation is so that the room or rooms are saved for you upon arrival

Less than 4 hours before our arrival (6 plus hour drive), I received a voicemail and then email from the hotel that they overbooked and moved us to another hotel Not even a Marriott Brand Hotel Was supposed to get the rooms comped, but received a charge from the hotel they moved us to Extremely poor customer service I have called, emailed and left a voicemail with no response Avoid this type of service I have no idea how the hotel is since we never stepped foot inside I have been traveling for more than 30 years and never experienced such poor professionalism and non existent customer service

Erin Hudnall

If you want a relaxing trip, don’t stay here This place will break you down with a bunch of minor inconveniences that really add up The staff are very kind, the location is great, and being able to bring my dog was a perk

BUT, breakfast opened late most mornings and the waffle irons were broken one morning Dogs are allowed on the breakfast area which can lead to a very unpleasant and loud morning meal if owners can’t keep their dogs under control My keycard lost access to my room and the building several times I was at the front desk more than ten times to have them reset and I was not the only guest with this problem The checkin process is hectic as parking is scarce so everyone pulls their cars to the front doors to unload and then have their vehicles valeted in a parking garage way down the street So you get stuck in a long line waiting for luggage carts and access to the front door And if you’re trying to get out of the parking lot during this mess, it’s not going to happen Unless you get lucky and get one of the few parking spaces in front of the hotel, you will not have immediate access to your vehicle Sometimes the valet will park cars behind those already parked in the lot, blocking them in until they feel like taking the car down the street There are also very long waits for the elevators as hotel staff are also using them to move linens and cleaning carts – there appear to be no service elevators for staff, but they are accommodating to guests often letting guests take the elevator ahead of them The hotel does not have its own line service – rather their linens are delivered on a truck One the first night, they did not have any extra towels, pillows, or blankets because the truck was late I had to use my beach towel as a blanket and was freezing the whole night Additionally, the key reader to one of our rooms went dead and we waited for four hours for someone to fix it My grandparents were in that room and need our help often, so this would have been a disaster in an emergency situation Moreover, someone had to stay in the room for the four hours so others could get in and out, taking half of one of our beach days I asked to speak to a manager over this situation, as this was the last straw in terms of my patience for the hotel’s inconveniences Not only was he late for his shift and unavailable the rest of the day due to “meetings,” he failed to call me even though I requested that he do so I do not recommend this place and will not be staying there again even though we visit the area twice a year or more Do yourself a favor and check out other hotels along the boardwalk

I can’t imagine what hotel these other people are reviewing – a 5 rating, really? This actually an old rundown timeshare resort Elevator, stairwells, hallways were extremely old, dated, and unclean Interior the same…old worn out furniture, slider glass dirty, balcony chairs dirty

The entire place looked like it hadn’t seen a fresh coat of paint in 30 years We decided to stay in the area an extra nite, but decided to move down to the Hampton Inn

Umm what place did these other guest go to Perhaps there was a secret elevator Cause this place was like the Bates motel

We got bite in the middle of the night found a bed bug, roaches in the kicthen carpet was dirty the staff was super nice but i wouldnt stay there if they paid me a billion dollars in cash, or gave me everlasting life they need to close down and find a good extreminator servicedisgusting yuck and horrible There is no negative star to give them A billion thumbs down

I always enjoy staying at any Marriott hotel   This time wasn’t much different When I entered the establishment it smelled amazing

The staff greeted my daughter and I and wished me a Happy Birthday  We stayed in room 709  However, the smell on the floor wasn’t as pleasant   It may have been due to the overflowing trash near the elevator   The room was clean upon arrival and the updates to the bathroom were great   Having a room facing the ocean was a dream   The fridge was a bit smaller than what I’m used to but it was good enough   I normally stay at the Residence Inn which would probably explain the difference   The air conditioner worked perfectly   The beds were nice and soft,  the linen was a little stained thoughThe breakfast could’ve been better   Though I loved the non pork non beef options there were items missing every day I was there   They ran out of ketchup for the potatoes  They ran out of cheese for the eggs   They ran out of boiled eggs  They too, ran out of juice both days   The kitchen manager on duty Thursday morning unlike the front desk and the rest of the staff was rude  Even the security guard was pretty nice   Thursday morning at breakfast,  they ran out of eggs where a group of us had to wait roughly about 10 to 12 minutes for eggs   I’ve never known eggs to take that long   I’m not sure if the added time was due to the conversation that was happening in the kitchen  We eventually got them though and this was early breakfast timeThe pool area was clean but the pool itself had a lot of foreign substances floating around in itI ended my stay with a pleasant greeting from the check in staff when she was getting ready to go home   Overall,  it was a good stay but being part of the Marriott brand and at almost $400 per night,  I would expect better

This Hotel is well run, and the workers seem happy Lena was wonderful by listening to Joy the manager (that relayed the message from vacation) and making sure my 86 year old Mom had a walk in shower room for our stay Upon check-in Lena was very professional, efficient and pleasant along with her colleague Tasha

Maintenance person Eli went beyond his job description and helped me when we needed a new comforterMany thanks for a wonderful stay Keep up the good work!

An older hotel that is under going some renovations Right on the beach with a great view and easy beach access Has guest laundry on several floors

Easy parking Lots of nearby restaurants The only negative was the breakfast Very poor selection and nothing hot unless a micro was used Hopefully this was do to renovations and not the norm

Joseph at the front desk is the reason I’d book here again! He is the perfect example of excellent customer service, which is so hard to come by these days! Joseph and Roselina at the front desk were so welcoming and accommodating!!! FIVE stars for those two!!! Other than that, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and conveniently located to pretty much everything you could need 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I think this is my last stay at this hotel The hotel is falling into disrepair and the way they are still reserving at full capacity while unable to keep up with the cleanliness and forcing the cleaning crews to work harder with fewer staff

I walked into my room and within a few minutes saw 2 fruit flies We went to the beach and when we got back went to give my son a shower and noticed we only had 2 towels I picked up the phone to call down and ask for more towels and the receiver on thr phone was so sticky and gross, I couldn’t pick up the handle When i put my son in the shower, it leaks out onto the floor, so I had to use one of the towels for the floor Meanwhile, the water pressure was minimal and sadI called down for more towels and was told they would be up shortly and never cameAt night, I put thr kids into bed and noticed there was a lot ofnsand in the bed I checked the other bed, and again, there was a ton of sand We hadn’t been in the bedroom until nighttime, so we knew it wasn’t us I wanted to lay down on the sleeper sofa since the kids went to sleep earlier than I had wanted to and there were no linens or blankets to be foundWe went to breakfast at 9:30 It closes at 10 There was NOTHING left Breakfast is over at 10 thankfully, two ladies in the breakfast crew took major care of us and made us fresh eggs and sausage I told her thank you, but I don’t eat pork, and just as quickly, they went back and made us a stack of turkey sausage Thank you Vicki and Zina They are the ONLY reason this review didn’t have 1 starThere are stains on the bed, on the walls, broken tiles, and dirty It’s just not worth the $$ to stay here anymore I was a choice privileges member and it was so I could stay at their location on 20th Since they sold that location and I had so many points left, I decided to stay here I’d stayed here years before and didn’t enjoy it, but the other locations were not nice eitherNeedless to say, it’s my last stay here and I will no longer be a choice privileges member

We had a room block for our wedding back in April The hotel staff and management did a great job helping us set up our room block initially They were very accommodating of adding more rooms as well as keeping us up-to-date on who had booked

The weekend of all our guests arriving there were many who requested other rooms and the hotel staff did a fantastic job mitigating all the requests and making our guests happy! We really appreciated everything that this hotel provided, including the amenities for our guests They loved it and enjoyed their stay, and the views as well

Barbara Martinez

Everything was absolutely perfect! From the private beach to the amazing shower We had a King Suite that was the size of a small apartment and we loved the space The bed was comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows

Every single detail was covered I loved this experience and will definitely recommend my friends to stay at this location Great Job Marriott

After researching several hotels in the area for spring break in April, this hotel was our choice based on what we were looking for while staying in Virginia Beach We definitely chose right!!! The staff, the food, the coffee, the rooms, the pool, the room view, and the convenience of being near everything was a plus for me and my family From the time that we checked in, until the time that we left, I had no complaints

This is the only hotel that I have taken the time to leave a review for because when it comes to hotels, I am very picky This hotels deserves an A plus The women at the front desk were very helpful and had great customer service The maintenance man that came to our room had just started at the time, but he was able to help my son get his game working on the TV right away and was very nice The woman at the restaurant had just returned from being off for a while, had the sweetest spirit and was very kind I have nothing negative to say and we will visit again This will be our getaway spot for sure

Desk staff was great! Our room was clean and loved having a balcony facing the beach We will definitely go to this hotel again The restaurant was good except for the hefty charge they added to our bill which the server explained was to tip the kitchen staff because they don’t pay them enough! Customers should not be forced to tip kitchen staff

They should be paid by the restaurant Of course, we still had to tip the server One of the elevators didn’t work the whole time we were there, there are not enough carts for luggage, and this has nothing to do with the hotel but the city needs to put up signs regarding dogs on the boardwalk and beach My husband was walking our dog on the boardwalk when a cop stopped him and told him dogs weren’t allowed at any time If you look online it says Virginia Beach is a dog friendly place and dogs are allowed on the boardwalk any time Signs would help clarify this

Overall, we enjoyed our stay The rooms were clean and had an amazing ocean view The breakfast was to go style and you don’t have a choice in what to order like you may at a typical continental breakfast

But, I have two young kids and was happy to have to go style we could eat in our rooms We did have to grab extra trash bags because the small waste buckets won’t cut it There is no daily room service, but they give you a number to text if you do need somethingCons: 1 parking instructions were not clear It is $20/day at a garage across the street You need your room key to access When we pulled up to the hotel to unload they were trying to push people to unload and move out My husband drove out before I checked in and he got stuck at one of the garage gates2 Elevator: They only had one elevator in service It was crowded at all times and you had to wait a while for it, sometimes not even being able to fit on One of the staff members said it’s been out of service for at least a month so far

Angie Murphy

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt House The staff were friendly and very helpful Someone at the front desk even came to our room to retrieve another guest’s bathing suit that blew onto our balcony for them

The boxed breakfasts were better than I expected and included hot meals each day The bed was comfortable and the room was clean I look forward to staying there again

The staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful!! The front desk night crew were the best!! Everything was clean and our stay was lovely We enjoyed the room, the pool, and the restaurant, Coach’s Even though the hotel was packed with two conventions nearby, a craft show, and two weddings, the staff staff was amazing and very attentive

I did this stay on a promotion offer and there were only a few issues with the room If they wanted me to be impressed they should have put me in one of the Hilton hotels on the beach as per my preference I was told the hotel was a 5 min walk to the beach that was false

Maybe 5 minutes if I were a fast runner But I don’t run unless in danger and for only a short period of time My issues with the room were the cleanliness the vent in the bathroom was dirty, paint was chipping over the window, paint chips were on the floor The mattress box cover had a grease like stain on it and the shower had zero pressure Taking a shower took forever What I liked was the pool and the staff The staff were attentive and the customer service was amazing! I liked our stay over all

Lara Mi

Please don’t stay in Room 1201!!! The wallpaper and light switches are peeling off the wall and there are spores of mold behind! I had to switch hotels because they were fully booked so I couldn’t just switch rooms They did refund me but I told them not to let anyone else in that room until they get mold services out there, if we had asthma it could have been deadly I hope no one gets assigned that room until they fix the problem

My previous stay here in 2019 before the pandemic and was a wonderful experience What happened to the facilities in the meantime? Overall the staff is kind, the lobby was spotless, but rooms are a gamble so just beware!
