Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a place This website will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you choose this place you won’t be let downThe staff here is fantastic! Everyone is very nice and welcoming The rooms are also very clean and comfortable Bathrooms are on the older side but very clean and very well maintained! We will be back!We would’ve given it 4 stars because we paid extra for a specific room and it wasn’t exactly as described We will sort this out at a later time but a place where we’d definitely stay again 5 stars as Lenny (doorman) is always smiling and welcoming folks!

Spent the Valentine weekend here and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating I cannot say enough about Lenny the doorman He was amazing and gets 5 stars!! Mary the concierge also stood out as a rock star

Friendly and sweetMy only constructive comment is the toilet water pressure isn’t great but typical of stately old NYC hotels Bravo Berkshire!!

Anthony Baquero

This was one of the best hotel experiences my wife and I have ever had We were celebrating our ten year anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip was a wonderful one We had an amazing view of Central Park on a high floor that left us literally sitting in front of the window gazing and enjoying the beauty of the park

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially those celebrating a special occasion The staff was excellent, the amenities were excellent, and the rooftop restaurant (Darling) had amazing views of Central Park It was a really magical stay for us

Laurie Bachrach

Lovely hotel Was so welcoming to my young son for a special mommy trip and very accommodating Service was top notch which I didn’t expect given our current state of staffing shortages everywhere and based on experiences elsewhere

Rooms were very quiet and impeccably clean There is also a great cafe just steps outside the back door which was a nice bonus

Andrea

Front rooms with a spectacular view! No other option is worth it to book the hotel The other rooms are nice but really too expensive without the breathtaking Central Park view Very fresh and modern cosy look

Some rooms have very, very small closets and bathrooms 🤨 The rooftop bar/restaurant is stylish but with quite too noisy hip music talk with your friends while you are sipping the good cocktails is difficult The wonderful view is only visible for tall or non sitting persons So, if you reserve a table because of the viewtake a bar table outside Breakfast is not yet good enough for the price (50$pp plus tax plus tip)and while sitting at a table, you have no view because the windows are to highAll employees are very friendly! Special thanks to the wonderful Lady serving breakfast at the rooftop and to deep-voice-Dillon from the bar team at the ground floor 😉! ADA Rooms are good, but the entrance door is really, really heavy to open Once, when you are inside, there is an automatic door to the bathroom Why not add that helper for the front door?

This place was good for a one night stay People are friendly, location was good, a little noisy with traffic and trains nearby, there’s a good bagel place on the corner There’s an Acme within 5-10 minutes for groceries

It was hard to get in touch with anyone at the front desk When we needed anything we had to go down to get it, which isn’t too big of a deal because of COVID protocolsThe rooms were clean, you could tell this place has a history to it with how the rooms and buildings are shaped The pool was a hit with the kids, wish it was open a little later The hallways kind of smelled weird The shower was a little weird because one shower head was sticking a little too far out of the ceiling and the other shower head wouldn’t stay put in its holder so we had to hang it onto a handleParking became a little difficult because they had a church in session on site and another conference going on

Erdal Duman

Hi I booked this hotel for my kids to enjoy the pool I have 2 boys

They were ready with their swimming suits thinking that they will enjoy with their parents However, it was a disappointment when we learned from the front desk that the city didn’t approve the pool’s opening This is not our fault and definitely not our kids They deserve the best I contacted the third party where I booked the hotel through that they wanted to talk to the manager about canceling The manager wasn’t here and the front desk associate informed that they will be back on Monday as I asked the third party to cancel but they said they have to talk to the manger

Andrew Roberts

The hotel itself isn’t bad, great location, was given an excellent view and the room was modern, clean, and comfortable I’m giving only two stars for a couple of reasons Foremost, the staff were terrible

I get that this is New York, but I expect better hospitality for the price I’m paying to stay here and my status as a Hyatt Elite Not one staff member I’ve interacted with at this hotel has been pleasant to speak withAnother issue is that the thermostat is broken, often showing that the room temperature is anywhere from 120F to 372F (picture with proof below) so any attempt to use the system turns on the AC, even when set to the highest temp on the thermostat I tried to call about this, but the phones in my room are broken too I called the front desk from my cell phone about these issues and was again met with short responsesAlso tried to have breakfast (Hyatt’s website lists it as Free Breakfast, that definitely isn’t the case), they’re only doing room service and the two small bowls shown cost a whopping $80 after tax and service charges This is flat out ridiculous! Don’t list the breakfast as free on your website and then expect me to pay skyscraper prices for basic hotel foodOverall disappointed by my experience here Hope you can help your staff treat your elites with a little more care, keep your rooms fixed, and be more transparent about food pricing and service options

Angie Morgan

I can’t find anything negative to say if I tried The front desk staff are so welcoming and kind They even offered us a mask when they overheard our family talking that someone left theirs up in the room

The rooms were spot clean when we arrived and the daily cleanings were the same Huge thanks to all the employees there who make this experience so wonderful And location is perfect Just feet from all the action in Times Square Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends! A+

Elisa T

I had a great experience at this hotel From the moment I approached the main entrance, I was kindly greeted by staff outside The lobby smelled so fresh and clean, and and the staff at the front desk were warm and hospitable

My room was very clean, the decor was chic and the bed was so comfortable and the sheets smelled freshly washed! The bathroom was spotless and the shower was high end I had such a great and comfortable stay here I would highly recommend it to anybody looking to stay at a fantastic hotel in Times Square

Overall a great hotel, and definitely plan on staying here again if in the area Check in was easy, the room was great, and breakfast at the restaurant was really good and decently priced Couple weird quirks, no top sheet on the beds, no wash clothes, and didn’t seem a waiter knew I was sitting outside, but that’s probably just due to new staff/lack of staff everyone is experiencing right now

Would recommend this place and would stay again, think the money we paid for the stay was perfect

S Bess

Rooms are small but clean Personnel are friendly and helpful (with one notable exception) At check in, we asked about available upgrades and were told that we were receiving a complimentary upgrade

The man then gave us a room that, we found out later, was not supposed to be available for guests due to major maintenance issues and was NOT an upgrade even if the door and the sink worked properly It was clear that he deliberately lied to us as we found out two days later, when we were told that we had to move rooms and we should never have been in that room because of the well documented issues and that room upgrades were not a thing at this hotel and we hadn’t received one (which was obvious as soon as we saw our room) Moving rooms unexpectedly made us late for an appointmentOther than the deliberate lie and deliberately putting us in a room with a security issue (door did not shut properly), the stay was a positive experience

Bret Williams

A very pleasant enough remodel The linens and general vibe was nice However, a couple of peeves: the desk chairs are not on wheels

Makes it very difficult to move close enough to do work while easily getting up Second, the lighting in the bathroom is way too dimAlso, the wallpaper in my room was peeling at the jointsGreat location and friendly staff Needs some work, though to make it a 4 or 5 star hotel

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t regret itClean room with daily housekeeping, which was quickly responsive to requests I checked in early (3p) and was given a room with a view I found wanting Asked for and received a new room The room was cozy, which is not unusual for NYC Had prompt attentive service at both the on-site diner and the fancy basement bar Great location for public transport Appreciated both the deco style and hotel history display in the basement Room key required to get to guest elevator Not the hippest or fanciest hotel but great value for cost

Alexis Rendon

I liked the Art-deco style of this hotel I reserved two rooms and only one of them was ready at my arrival (6pm) I had to wait an hour and a half for the second room and because of the wait, they upgraded my second room which was appreciated

The rooms were clean The morning of my third day started with a giant cockroach in the bath My go pro accessories disappeared from the room I only noticed when I was packing everything and leaving Everything is walkable from this location My first room was small, with no coffee and not really a view (the window was facing other windows) which I guess was expected with the price I paid The second room was bigger I had a better experience in the Carnegie Hotel and even the POD Times Square in the last 3 years for the same price

Kaikui Xu

Living in a hotel with nearly 100 years’ history evokes mixed thoughts and emotions To have a better city view, I made a request for a room on a relatively high floor, then the staff at the reception directly gave me a queen room on the 33rd floor, which is pretty good The queen room is clean and neat, with working fridge and good air conditioners

By the way, 33rd floor is also where the great scientist Tesla lived in during his stay in this same Wyndham New Yorker Hotel, so it’s not trivial Down in the basement of the hotel building, there are lots of historical documents and photographs showing stories of Wyndham Hotel in the past, making the trip more meaningful About the service, staff members at the reception, the cleaners, are always friendly The gorgeous decor of the entrance hall is also dedicate, giving the hotel a touch of style All in all, it’s a nice stay and I think it also adds some color to my trip to Manhattan

In a climate where the service industry is so short staffed, I couldn’t have been more impressed with the staff at this hotel Every touchpoint was exceptional – the manager when I requested a double room, the housekeeping staff who always had a smile on her face and made the room perfect everyday, the front doorman who remembered me and asked me how my day was, even the bartender who made me the best martini I ever had – every single person was happy and helpful I’m deeply impressed

Thank you!The rooms are spacious and luxurious Bed was super comfortable Location was ideal This was seriously a 5 star experience

megan naylor

Great staff, very helpful! The room was tiny (than envision a space slightly smaller than two side-by-side prison cells) with a platform bed that had VERY sharp edges on which seemed to enjoy slicing my Achilles whenever I got close Upon entering the room for the first time, I found a long hair laying across the lid of the bathroom trashcan which had some paper trash inside (just 1 or 2 pieces of what appeared to be wrappers; much better than used tissues

) The bathroom and bedroom walls had multiple scuff / dark marks Sadly, I got distinct “Sid and Nancy” vibes every time I walked into the roomAfter checking the hours of the two on-site restaurants / bars, we went for a late dinner (and, yes, I’m ashamed to say that we were going to be THOSE jerks) about 15-20 minutes before the kitchen closed only to be told that they were no longer serving food, only cocktails We are also told that the rooftop bar, which is open at least an hour later than the lobby restaurant, had also stopped serving their limited bar food menu Bummer, but the bar staff in the restaurant were top-notchThe gym is small-ish but surprisingly well-equipped and, while several other guests were there each time I was, never felt crowdedThe staff really saves Le Méridien from a much lower rating We made two special requests – late checkout and to check our luggage for a few hours after we had checked out – and both were met with smiles and happy accommodation Staff was very helpful, friendly and professional

Bharat Bhandare

Great location Compact hotel Parking is a block away

I used the valet, so no issues Concierge , the gentleman from England was fabulous in his approach Very friendly Front office staff too was good Housekeeping was excellentFrankly disappointed with the bar Having been in Manhattan since 1978, with due respect, was served the worst Mojito’s that i have had Could do much betterOverall, a nice experience

Kamilla Chanysheva

That was my first trip to NY and my first stay at this hotel What can I say – I’m in love with NY and I think mostly because of the hotel staff and the service Each and everyone who works there is incredibly amazing

It was such a pleasure to stay there The hospitality of the personnel is outstanding From the managers and chefs to servers and housekeeping staff I felt like I was back to Europe again but so much better (west coast is sooo different ☹️) The hotel building is beautiful, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean and the service is just perfect I could’ve literally spend the whole day describing every minute of my amazing experience at Pierre hotel I definitely would love to comeback soon Thank you guys!

Arianna Martignetti

Please note that I am writing this review solely in reference to the restaurant/bar – my friends had never been to NY before (they are from the west coast) and prior to walking around Central Park, we decided to grab a drink nearby We walked into The Pierre and immediately realized that we were out of place, definitely not dressed for the occasion, but the restaurant staff welcomed us with open arms as we asked to grab a drink at the bar We ended up staying for a few drinks because the bartender, Sergio, was so unbelievably pleasant

He was personable and humorous, and respectful of our space yet willing to engage in conversation whenever we wanted to chat with him Sergio and his drinks were a highlight of their trip! My partner and I live in Westchester and cannot wait to go visit with him again

Antonio Lopez

I want to say thank you to all of you at the restaurantMatthew, Sergio, Kenny and everyone on the team, excelent cousin and perfect care of the costumer’sI will be back for sure

And thank you so much for not to wear mask is so beautiful to see the smile and to be humans again God bless all youAntonio L

Everything was good about the hotel itself We booked the entry room Given the location, the room was certainly not huge

Very nice though The refrigerator in our room did not work, and the mattress needed to be replaced The side closest to the door, which is probably the side most commonly slept, was worn out and not comfortable My wife took the other side and was in a bit better shape Aside that a lovely hotel in a great location Room service was excellent and the room was clean every day

Lana Rivera

This review is of the experience at the spa Reservations were on a Saturday morning We arrived about 10 minutes late which I was worried about but there was no issue and recieved full service

Peninsula Hotel presences a grand entrance absolutely beautiful! Elevators are located on the second floor, spa is on the 21st floor The spa lobby is comfortable and welcoming After completing a simple form the locker attendant escorted us to the locker roomShe was extremely resourceful walked us through everything The spa smells of eucalyptus and immediately creates a sensual relaxing feeling The furniture is of oak and walls are if warm colors The relaxing room has 4 beds that are also equipped with head phones A must experience before or after the service My facial was amazing This is a must stop if you in New York One of the best spa’s I’ve been too

Christina Varvara

My stay at The Peninsula NYC was nothing short of outstanding All of the staff was warm, welcoming, accommodating, kind, and treated you with care Marian the reception manager was exceptionally kind and gave excellent recommendations for places to eat near by

Great location View depends on your room location The room was the min one should expect for a 4 star hotel

Nice bed and comfortable pillows Weird layout TV in sitting area would not turn off A/c in room kept slamming on and off and was a poor quality window rattler The front desk staff appeared to be burden by guests Security was lacking Although you’ll need a room key to access floors, this is by passed by guests allowing delivery people to tailgate No cameras on the floors Parking is $35 per night but no security patrolling the lotConvenient to NYC Make sure to get out and take a stroll on the boardwalk

Katie Natuzzi

Booked a hotel room block for our wedding and they were so nice and helpful and accommodating! Joy responded to every email or call Check in was great and they helped us with breakfast reservations too Rooms are definitely a little dated, but the beds we comfy and the staff were eager to help in anyway possible! Can’t say enough nice things about this place! Firstly the staff are second to none The desk staff are just phenomenal so friendly and helpful! I’ve never been to a place with such lovely and attentive staff! An absolute credit to the hotel The room was gorgeous really lovely decor, only thing is you’d want to be comfortable with who you room with as there are teeny windows into the bathroom! Didn’t bother us but it may other people

I’m so happy we stayed here, we loved every minute Thanks for a wonderful stay ✨

Maggie Linde

Beautiful lobby and rooms with minimalist vibe They offer free coffee to guests and have a bar on the first floor The bed was very comfortable but overall, expected a bit more space and amenities for the price

The bathroom was pretty small without a real door (pocket door) or lock and the room did not have any cups/glasses or a fridgeThe room is overall pretty bare I think you could find a hotel with more space and offerings for a better price elsewhere in the area!

kris hernandez

The best hotel Ive ever stayed at Beautiful interior, very comfortable room, and very clean The hotel is close to public transportation so we were able to get around quickly

The entire staff was very kind and helpful They gave us great recommendations of places to go I left a stuffed animal in our room after we left and they shipped it to me! Definitely coming back here

Excellent central location Rooms were clean The temperature in the rooms were too warm for us and unfortunately we could not turn it down

The beds were very comfortable The view was fantastic The lounge was comfortable, but needs more staff at breakfast I had to eat at an uncleared table The coffee machine did not work on one day also

I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel while I stayed in Manhattan The staff was very friendly and helpful The rooms were very modern and immaculate

I had a view from my bedroom of Times Square, which was the best part! I felt very safe because after-hours, you need your room key to enter the building and use the elevators There is a bar that serves food and drinks in the evening, and a fitness center Each morning the hotel offers complimentary water bottles and breakfast on the terrace Visitors can also sit and eat on the balcony overlooking the cityso lovely! They offered a variety of choices for breakfast and it was a great way to start off my morning I couldn’t have asked for a better experience I will definitely be returning to the West house hotel in the future

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for 4 nights I’m not sure it’s a 5-star hotel It’s a boutique hotel, so generally more compact size in the lobby and dining area compared to a big true 5/star hotel

Staff was pretty friendly and helpful Room was semi-clean with general cleanliness, but furniture is old and could see crumbs in cracks of tables I believe the resident fee recently went from $30 to $50 We lucked out with booking still being $30 Not a bad deal if you use it for breakfast and light evening meal Plus all you can drink beer and wine Very convenient location with subway entrance almost at front door and Times Square 10 minute walk and Central Park a few blocks north We enjoyed our stay

Great location! Was able to walk to many attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc Quirky hotel Rooms are small and space is limited but if you are traveling alone or for a short stay I recommend staying here

Rooms are basic but neat, clean, and felt new I had a room with double beds The “chair” and “table” were hung on the wall; there if needed but really no room to put them I used the second bed as a place to put my suitcase and other belongings since there wasn’t a closet or even a chest of drawers No fridge in the room either…or ice makers on the floors The check-in / front desk people were kind of snarly even for NYC On the entry level there isn’t a lobby but on the second floor is a lounge area and a bar There is a rooftop bar which apparently is exclusive because its under lock and key and also has its own street access for people not staying at the hotel The website says you get a free cocktail when checking in but none were offered or given even when asked The hotel does offer various social events like “drag makeup workshop” and “drag bingo” but nothing was scheduled when I was staying there Another quirky thing, you can use the rotary style phone (which is actually push button) to choose a bedtime story to be read to you

Amazing room Amazing guest service! Family came to spend Christmas in NYC after my work trip We had such a good time

There view from the room killed it and the distance to all attractions, in all directions were walking distance Centralized and also dollar pizza spots on block away There is a great bar to get drink at and club on the top floor There was this coffee bar right next to entrance that was easy to get coffee at to Easy to grab coffee in the morning

I loved this hotel and my stay! I had a city view king room and the view is absolutely incredible! I am a solo traveler so the room size and layout was perfect I only wish the shower was clear glass to enjoy the view from there! The convince of the coffee shop in the lobby made mornings on the go or being lazy a treat I had a high floor room and the nightclub noise did not bother me or interrupt my sleep

I was sad I didn’t go up to see the view Thanks to the staff for being amazing and kind! I can’t wait to come back to my new favorite hotel!

Beautiful hotel! The location is great (make sure you walk about 50 ft over to “Kiss my Slice” and get some pizza *Note: the 2 slices and soda for 550 is only cheese pizza

) We stayed here on St Patrick’s Day The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are truly gorgeous Also, we had one of the staff book us a black car for the ride out to the airport the next morning It was wonderful! The cost was $60 and it was the smoothest, nicest ride I have ever had getting to an airport

I have nothing but good things to say about this Hotel! So to start off I work for Marriott and went to this hotel using my employee discount which means they in no way have to accommodate me when requesting certain things like room upgrades Despite this, before I even walked through the door I was assisted on the chat in a friendly manner and when asking for a higher floor he graciously provided me with a high floor upgrade Once I arrived I was greeted with a smile and water and the clerk who checked me in even allowed me to check in early by giving the option for a 19th floor room but located across from the elevator

Keep in mind I already know this room will be a bit on the noisy side and I’m not bothered by it so I accepted this offer, however if you like peace and quiet this room is not for you Again she did not have to do this but she did and also acknowledged my member status which was refreshing to see because it doesn’t happen very often The manager or who I assume was the manager was very nice and always had a smile on his face, the staff dynamic was like a family and it shows The food and drinks on-site are amazing and worked out great for me since I was exhausted from traveling all day and then having to leave for a 3 AM train Overall I give this place a 10/10 and I will absolutely be returning ! Keep up the amazing work guys 🙂

This is a nice option to stay Hotel rooms are really hotel rooms with the usual space you expect from a room The service was excellent and everything perfectly clean and in well status

Price wise is ok with what you’re getting in a very regular expensive city like this Not sure if it’d be my first choice for next visit, but definitely would consider it among other options One detail I must express a particular issue for my situation was that the safe was too small and my laptop didn’t fit, so I found myself a little stressed having to left my laptop out of the safe when I was out I stayed in a previous hotel also 4 stars that did have a larger safe Minor details as not restocking products such as body lotion is something they should take care for the price you pay Other than those details is a recommended place to stay during your stay in New York Location is superb

Stayed here one night for Valentines Day in 2022The place feels slightly poorly maintained Lots of scratches in the woodwork, stains and marks

More than you’d expect to see in a hotel of this caliberHowever, I’m still giving it 5 stars because all my experiences with the staff were perfection from the moment I walked in the door Room service breakfast was wonderful and immaculately prepared and presented Loved our view of Central Park I wish to god I didn’t have to also see Trump tower, but I got over it The sun rose right in front of us over Central Park LovelyThe gym and pool areas are very well maintained The pool was divine and once again the staff at the gym area were top notch

Bill Dong

Generally good experience overall The rooms and ambiance speak for themselves so I’ll focus more on a few problem I encountered Note the 4 star rating, obviously none of these were deal breakers

1 A group of wedding guests who I can only guess has lost their most basic social awareness to an abundance of drinks decided to make a town hall out of our quiet floor around 1:30AM Not a wonderful experience, especially for people whose sleep are not easily returned to once disrupted A call to the front desk returned the assurance that further disturbances will be addressed by a staff member At this point the damage was done and it was no use to pursue it much further2 The room service staff knocked on and tried to open my door on the first two days of our stay, despite our “Privacy” light being on the whole time I was only talking business meetings so it was no great offense, but imagine people enjoying a time of intimacy being so abruptly disturbed HOWEVER, I need to heavily emphasize that the room service staff, all staff in fact, were extortionately polite and helpful They work hard enough trying to keep us pesky guests happy so I understand if a little mistake is made on occasion

I had the most amazing stay at the Mandarin The staff was absolutely amazing From the outstanding doormen to the front desk and concierge

Special thank you to Daniel who went out of his way to send me a birthday card, dessert and champagne I stayed here for my birthday weekend just to enjoy a solo getaway The spa was just try it! I will only stay at the Mandarin in NY moving forward! Thank you for making my solo birthday special xo

The thermostat wasn’t working when I got into my room and the room wasn’t ready for my check in time The black out curtains didn’t close all the way and the amenities room (laundry room, deck eating) are not connected to the digital key, which made me need to obtain a plastic key as well The response to needing assistance was the quickest I have had and my issues were addressed with speed and friendly staff

Staff has offered intimate and detailed information on which bus routes to use to get where and the easiest way to do the little things as well as some fun tourist options that were meaningful to them The top floor has a nice view, if very distant, of Manhattan and it doesn’t have the building cluster of the inner city Nice happy medium Staying on the top floor at the end give the best view for price The bar is very small but they had a snack, soup and salad, and cheese platter section available to go with the hotel bar’s 5pm-10pm service time Overall, I would say it’s a decent bang for your buck if you don’t want to be in the thick of it The business center on the main floor has lots of open spaces and plenty of comfortable looking chairs to lounge in The gym is rather small, but it does have a decent selection of equipment

Our stay here was excellent Our room was decent It was clean, they are on the small side and the bathrooms should have vents but other than that it was excellent

The staff was courteous, professional and efficient The breakfast options were varied and the coffee was good The breakfast eating areas were very nice The parking was convenient Because we were staying more than five days we did not have to pay $15 per day parking fee The hotel is right at the highway exit which was great Will definitely stay here again

We stay at this Hampton Inn many times since we have family in the area We haven’t stayed there in almost 2 years because of Covid Wow how it has changed we arrived around 6PM there were 3 people at front desk and 4 families waiting to check in Only one waiting on customers

We waited 10 minutes and checked in ready to go park our car when the employee told us about a $1500 per night parking fee No mention of that on the website I booked on He told us we could park across the highway at the Hilton It was dark and 25 degrees outside we paid the fee Staff needs to work on customer service Hotel and rooms were very clean and modern Went to go to the pool and was told they don’t supply towels We had to use our bath towels Needless to say I am not paying 15000 a night and have to pay $1500 a night to park and no extra towels for the pool One bright spot was a great free breakfast buffet with very friendly staff keeping everything full
