We stayed at Southern Grace at the Purple Parrot Accommodations were excellent It is a 1 bedroom very nicely decorated with southern charm

Very clean and comfortable It is the perfect place for a couple to get away from the crowds The porch was an added touch to enjoy the outdoors in the evenings The pool was nice and not crowded at all Thank you to the owners for such a beautiful stay

Jamie Prip

This was our first time staying here The 1 bedroom condo was very nice but a little small for a family of four Also, the floors must be very thin because the people above us we’re pretty noisy

Pool was pretty but not very clean If you come here make sure you get a 2 bedroom upstairs and make sure it’s not close the the bar, can get pretty loud at night

Marina Strader

I have to say that we have been staying here for the past 12 years My husband and I met here while he was in the Navy We try to come for the 4th celebration every year

Unfortunately the condo (12AU) we got this time was a nightmare On day one we had to call about our air conditioning system going out, they fixed thatThe condo was dirty, with black mold penetrating though the bedroom and entire ventilation The bunk beds had bugs, so our kid had to sleep with us We paid Saturday to Saturday, but due to mold issue developed headaches and our daughter started vomiting We emailed them about the issue No response We packed our bags and checked into Perdido beach resort on Wednesday We went by to give them the keys and told them how unbearable and toxic that place was So far we were not offered any refund We will be submitting a complaint to a better business bureau, with pictures We paid for a week, but now have to be out another 500$ a night, so we have a safe place to sleep till Saturday We will never come back to that resort

I enjoyed my stay The hotel was easily accessible & easy to find My first impression of the lobby was that it was spacious, clean, and modern

The front desk associate was supper nice & helped me navigate to the beach! Our room was beautiful Loved the spacious bathroom, & large bed Plus the little welcome touch on the tv was nice! The only downside would be not having liners for the trashcan but that’s no biggie!

Bryan Pascua

For a Marriott brand hotel, I was overall disappointed Hotel is tired, needs some updating Stayed in Room 309, stains on the wall next to the front door, stained sofa, tub caulking job was terrible, loose toilet seat, and a less than productive flush

Stayed 2 nights, room was not serviced and complimentary coffee kits not refilled Did bring the toilet issue to the attention of the front desk, seat was tightened, but flushing wasn’t improved Bed was comfortable I’ve stayed at better 2 star hotels Rethinking my brand commitment after my last 2 Marriott stays

dani

Very good hotel! The rooms looked just like the pictures! Me and my family were happy for finally we have a good hotel! We were on the 4th floor, and I liked the view from the window I like how the room is BIG and has space There is a desk, even a COUCH! Wow! And in the bathroom, it was very clean and pretty

In the shower, it even had liquid soap and other stuff for you to wash with I definitely recommend this place if you are going with family I wish I could come back again here!! 😁

The staff and management were completely rude Upon arriving we noticed plumbing issues, for example

the toilet took 3 minutes to flush the first time it was used After a great night on the town we got back to our room, and used the bathroom once more This time it wouldn’t flush, we were very tired from being out all night so we decided to wait until morning around 8am so that we would be able to communicate the situation more efficiently When we woke the following morning, our entire hotel room was soaked in water After explaining what happened to the manager, he TOLD us that WE had to pay for the damages In all of my years of traveling i have never witnessed a plumbing issue of this magnitude The workers who were hired to fix the problem, were complaining and cursing viciously The manager was no better than the workers I would recommend staying in any hotel in Pensacola, FL besides this one

Some Guy

Hotel was a great value for the money, free breakfast is very good and there is a complementary snack bar in the lobby from 5-7 with drinks Overall, its a great hotel and I’d rather book here than any chain hotel No sketchy activity and a constantly clean and maintained interior and exterior make for a great place to stay while in Pensacola

Rachael walker

Me and my boyfriend stayed this weekend and this hotel was perfect for what we were looking for, rooms were nice and clean, And the location was perfect walking distance to everything We will definitely come back the next time we stay in Pensacola Definitely good for the price and they actually had good toilet paper in the bathroom lol

What a wonderful place! Very clean with great amenities and a super hard-working, friendly staff! Pool is awesome and you’re just a short walk to white sand beaches

and a private gulf view balcony for every room Just spectacular! The entire hotel is non-smoking, which is a huge plus Close enough to restaurants yet far enough away to feel very private We’ll definitely be back Thanks to everyone!

Had a great stay! Stayed here for only a couple of nights with a friend and we were really impressed Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful The views from the room were amazing and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves

The beach is right in your backyard and it is easily accessible They even have a faucet/water sprayer to rinse the sand off your feet before going back into the hotel Breakfast was average to great, and had good options The room was clean and we had plenty of space for all our stuff The beds were very comfortable I would definitely stay here again!

I had the fortune of staying here with my partner some years ago with this being my first Bed and Breakfast experience Upon arrival we found our room keys along with a note in the front door telling us to come in and make ourselves at home, the owner was out shopping for us and would be back shortly Coffee and cake we’re waiting which was fantastic and soon we were greeted and warmly welcomed by the owner who showed us around and told us the history of the house and told us to get whatever we wanted from the guest fridge

Our room was just as I was expecting and happy to see, beautiful and filled with antiques Breakfast was very good, freshly prepared and we eat with another couple and the owner Location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to downtown and it’s located in a safe feeling neighborhood We both loved our stay and the owner was simply delightful! I’ve never felt so welcomed and at home as I was here If we ever visit the area again rest assured we will definitely stay here

MalMaui

Super cute and fun building The proprietor met us at the door and gave us a tour of the home and maps of downtown sites! She asked what time we’d like breakfast and cook a lovely breakfast in the mornings for usDoors comes with a cute Victorian lock and key!The house is amazing

I use to volunteer an Antebellum home when I was younger and love the high ceilings and craftsmanship of the wood trimmings there and here Lovely!!!

Keith Raiche

We had only 3 weeks to plan this trip, and we could NOT have picked a better place to start It was very easy to find, and in the heart of the areaUpon our arrival, we are treated to wonderful decor

Coffee and pastries are available all day There is enough seating on the main floor for all the guest to enjoy the coffee, or just read from their large collection of book and magazinesOur room was FANTASTIC; beautifully decorated, charming, comfortable and quietWe were within walking distance of everything: historical landmarks, the fishing pier, shopping and restaurants The comfort level for walking the area was high: even at nightWe will highly recommend this place to ALL our friends and family Even people we just stop to talk to

If you were to stay on North Davis highway this would be the hotel to stay at It’s clean They have free laundry

The pool is nice They have snacks all night long that you can go buy in a little snack shop You can charge it to the room There is no problem getting fresh towels They’re fresh sheets They allow pets It is just a nice place to stay People are friendly Staff is courteous and they take care of all your needs Don’t go anywhere else Make this your destination if you’re going to stay on that highway

Scotty S

I called ahead to see if they had a room available for an early morning check in because I am a day sleeper and the lady at the desk said sure I went in and started the process of checking in In the process the lady asked me if I was staying just one night

I answered yes and in fact I would be checking out at 6:30 the same day She then told me she only had availability for a next day check out and that she didn’t have a room for a same day checkout This made absolutely no sense that I had to leave and find another hotel What is the difference if I check out at 630 today or 1130 tomorrow?

MShea Smith

I didn’t stay here, but I’ve made deliveries here The lady who greeted me at the entrance was friendly and helpful It appears to be a nice place to stay

I like how far back the hotel is from Davis hwy You wouldn’t know there are 2 hotels tucked in that back corner Parking was a bit tricky, even at night There doesn’t seem to be enough room to manuver easily The hotels are really close together so traffic is a bit hectic from both hotels guests coming and going

Liked the size of the condo and that is what on the beach , with a big pool But otherwise a bit disappointing The condo was not in good shape , walls all marked up dirty, appliances really old and gross

For the amount of staff on hand for services, they did an amazing job! Room was spotless and clean Bed was super comfortable and the ocean view from the bed was in perfect setting Food and food service was excellent

The evening bar staff 5 stars across the board! The girl that made our drinks was super knowledgeable and personable Her and the evening Chef made us feel like family That’s extremely rare now days Because of them we will be making Margaritaville Beach Hotels our new home away from home! Thanks guys!! 😊

The hotel is nice and the food and drinks are great We really enjoyed the location We didn’t watch much TV, but all they have is cable with no guide so finding something to watch was painful

We had to keep asking for clean towels Our room was cleaned one time during a stay of 8 days And finally, staff was driving a golf cart wide open in the parking deck For the price, we expected better and had better at other hotels close by

puddingg1 M Flegen

Beautiful suite with terrific ocean viewsOverall I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel was It’s clearly the best in the Pensacola with great beach accessThe rooms was nicely appointed and had a huge bathroom with a separate tub and walk-in showerThe hotel staff was courteous and breakfast was goodIt is a shame that COVID has disrupted daily room cleaning and extras like room service but this is the case almost everywhere one stays

I would definitely stay at this hotel again If I had one critique for hotel management it’s that the hallways are starting to show their age and could use a fresh coat of paint

Checked in the day before to inform them of our arrival @ 6 PM Arrived to the room and found the room to not be fully ready Bathroom was not cleaned

Housekeeping showed up the day after to clean Rooms were very roomy Staff was friendly and accommodations were good However, if you plan on eating breakfast you have to be on their schedule They close when they feel like closing (not 10 AM) Overall they need to work on their cleaning and breakfast Beach was just over the bridge Dogs enjoyed their stay as well

Brandon Roberts

We did not come to this area to stay on vacation, only for doctor’s appointment but we were very impressed The hotel is very clean and very orderly You can smell cleanliness when you walk through the doors of both the lobby and your room

The front lobby staff was very kind and accommodating, they told us everything there was to know about our stay at their hotel All of the linens and appliances were spotless, no doubt that these rooms were cleaned well

We made the unfortunate mistake of booking a room at the garden inn and suites in Pensacola

boy was that a huge mistake! Thankfully, we were able to get a refund and we came here This hotel is wonderful! Super clean room, they SMELL and look clean Comfy beds and pillows And, most importantly, I don’t feel like gonna be murdered here! The best experience! The staff was more than friendly, they were welcoming in a way that made you feel like family The breakfast has plentiful offerings The facility is super clean

I noticed the staff cleaning and sanitizing the common areas regularly I’ve traveled to Pen often; yet, this was my first time staying at this hotel I’m a convert nowI’ll be booking there hence forward The cleanliness, location and amenities make this hotel a great choice; but, the customer service makes its superb! Btw, Vanessa in the cafe is the best!!!

Amy Renee Frazer

Literally the best hotel we’ve ever stayed and we have stayed at more expensive places The staff is SO VERY friendly and the service is top notch!! We stayed here for an entire week and literally do not have one single complaint The food was great and the food service ladies were so helpful and friendly

The front desk servers for so polite and friendly The kindest of all was a man there hanging wall paper struck up a conversation and when we said how nice our visit at the hotel was he attributed it the “Great General Manager” which says a lot! Oh yeah the beds were the most comfortable we’d ever slept in and the rooms were VERY clean and we got cleaning every day while we were there Thanks again to the staff for giving us a great stay!!

BLISS AERONAUTICS

PROS: The breakfast was fantastic for an “included” amenity They had a pancake machine, as well as sausage and biscuits Usually a “continental” breakfast is cereal and maybe a cold pastry

Not so with this place! The room was fairly comfortable The lobby was nice and had free popcorn and cookies The proximity to everything downtown was great!CONS: The sink stopper in the bathroom was stuck shut Maintenance responded fairly quickly, but then stayed in the room working on it for 30 minutes, even after I told them to just remove the stopper and don’t worry about making the stopper lever functional Also, the air conditioner sounded like an aircraft engine starting up Kept us from sleeping well at night, but it was a booked weekend and very busy As such, other rooms were not availableSomeone had left a bag of rotting trash in the overflow parking area and even after I told the front desk, no one ever cleaned it up This made every visit to the parking lot a challenge to avoid the smellOVERALL we still enjoyed the stay, especially since it was the Blue Angels weekend
