Great budget friendly option Easy to find, right off the highway The front desk employees were a stand out

They were extremely helpful and could not have been nicer The free breakfast 2az very good with 2 hot options and the regular danish/bagel options Would definitely stay again The only bad thing was the sofa bed had no sheets or blankets Bit everything else was great and beyond expectations

Wellspring

This is an exceptional Fairfield Inn For the past 15 years, we’ve always stayed in one of the Marriott brands as much as possible when traveling because Marriott brands typically have clean, comfortable accommodations with very welcoming staff This location certainly did not disappoint

It’s located directly off I-77 right next to Wendy’s and is also within driving distance of several other food choices on/near South Tryon During our stay, everything was very clean and well-maintained Staff was friendly, welcoming and professional across the board, especially during check-in, check-out and at breakfast Chris greeted and welcomed every customer during the times that we were at breakfast and Housekeeping was fantastic and always on point as well That was much appreciated and a really nice touch to see Made our short stay feel more like home for sure We’ve always stayed at other locations in this area when we’re in town and I’m not sure how we missed this one previously but this location will definitely be a top choice for future return visits for sure Absolutely exceptional stay Thank you all for making our visit such a comfortable and smooth one!

I was bitten by a bed bug on both arms of my first night stay My sleep pattern is my arms under my face The only good part of this ordeal is it didn’t bite me on my face

I was waken about 2:30am wondering if it was a mosquito in the room Lifted the pillow and that is when I saw it crawling around and lifted the mattress and there was a dirty towel full of bugs dead I assume I didn’t touch it Call the front desk I came to realize that I had an allergic reaction to the bites Uncomfortable weekend due to swelling and itching They did move us to another room and really couldn’t get comfortable not knowing what to expect I did lift up the mattress and moved the pillows around in the second room didn’t seem to see anything but still couldn’t get comfortable and relaxed I took pictures of the bug, towel under the mattress and my arms! They said the manager will contact me when she get there, but that call never happened We later walked down for breakfast and went to the front desk

Very nice hotel, and I had a good stay The staff was friendly upon checking in and the room was clean Comfortable bed

Peaceful location The only reason I’m rating 4 stars is because the shower drain needs to be unclogged I hate when the water rises up in the tub while taking a shower Drains should be checked periodicallyOverall great hotel, and would stay again

The room SMELLED! It was a strong mildew odor I was told that the room would be freshened etc

still after that the room had the same odor The linens did not feel clean Kept feeling like the linens were moist… The pool was out of order The bar/restaurant was never open There are holes in the wall in the hallway on the second floor It sucks because the hotels right across the street were so much better than this one The staff at the front desk are cool, but my stay was horrible and I feel like they just took my money and didn’t care how my stay went Never again!!!

Savage Ltm

Extremely disappointed in our stay, The main reason I booked this hotel over others was due to the indoor pool bar and restaurant on site none of those amenities were open and there was nothing saying otherwise on the website at the time of booking When we arrived the staff seem to not care and offered nothing to make up for the lack of amenities considering that we paid quite the full price for the room The room although appeared clean most surfaces when touching them were sticky

Going forward I would have a hard time booking any Hilton affiliated hotel as this was a most unpleasant stay

Here now and was supposed to be staying next weekend Canceling and will never book this location on our frequent trips to the area Found whole Oreos on the floor, candy behind pillow on chair, TV won’t turn off (had to unplug it), bathroom surfaces are sticky, shower dirty, table dirty, scratched up pans, dishes not put away, stained coffee pot

Old, dirty, unprofessional staff to top it off No manger on site Stay elsewhere!!! We are not picky travelers, and travel often, but this is not anywhere near Marriott standards! So disappointing!

Tatiana K

The front desk staff during the day was the worst I’ve ever come across Literally not even a smile upon arrival, not from anyone including the manager The food was unpalatable

The reservation system online doesn’t sync with the reservation system in this hotel I was forced to leave and go to a Hilton The only polite front office staff was the gentleman who works in the evening He’s the only reason the hotel received 2 stars

Ciara Williams

Overall the hotel is fairly new and in a good quiet area The cleanliness could be better If the shower isn’t cleaned often, it will deteriorate over time

This was my first time using the bonvoy marriott app and the keyless option took a while to update There’s an option to put in service request which can be confusing because you have to go get the items you are requesting Other than that, my stay was decent I carry shower shoes (flip flops) because hotel shower/tubs aren’t always sanitized Someone had a key to my husband’s and I room while we were sleeping I woke up because I heard them trying to get in I called down stairs and the manager apologized, and that was it

Really nice hotel and staff The room was clean, well equipped, and quiet for a Saturday night The manager was very kind and helped me get a room when my flight was delayed and all the rooms in the area were sold out

Complimentary breakfast was also very good with a wide selection The room I stayed in also had a microwave which was very convenient

Amy Tilson

This is the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed at We chose this location specifically because of the rating Rooms 216-219 are located next to openings above the lobby

You can hear everything!! I had to call the front desk at 11:45 pm to ask that persons in the lobby quiet down They did not do this of their own volition The hallway is also stifling hot in that location due to the openings Breakfast was very limited compared to other Hampton Inns and of a much lesser quality than expected Rooms were similar to other Hampton Inns, except the bathroom doors faced into the sleeping are instead of the entry That is an awkward placement consodering they are sliding barn doors and don’t close completely as is I would NOT stay at this location again

Amy King (The Real Estate Lady)

Was in town on business and stayed too late to drive 25 hours home, so, last minute, Hampton Inn it is My stay was great! Staff was great, hotel was in great condition, room was comfortable and breakfast the next day was just right to get me on my way

As a Hilton Honors member I’ve stayed at my share of hotels I’ve stayed at more than a few Hampton Inns and this one was by FAR, the best!

Excellent service! I booked a reservation through a third party vendor and they botched it Tyshion was super helpful in working with the third party to get us the correct rooms on a sold out night His patience and understanding were top notch and I thank him greatly

I’m traveling with older family and young children, glad we stayed The rooms were clean and comfortable!

Shannon Carney

Above and beyond helpful I was traveling alone for work and broke a wheel on my suitcase My husband sent me new wheels but didn’t have the right tools to replace the wheels

The front desk put me in contact with the chief engineer at the hotel and he brought his tools and replaced my wheels!! Such a life saver!! Great experience and excellent customer service at this Courtyard Highly recommend

Jennifer Melles

Made a reservation for a room for a certain room type Noted in the confirmation that I can’t change or modify the reservation after a given date On the date of check-in, I see that the hotel has modified my reservation for a room type I did not choose or agree to pay

No notification at all So, I can’t modify or cancel since it’s after the give time-frame Now it’s the date of the reservation and I have no other options Horrible customer experience let alone unethical business practices

We have used this hotel a couple of times for full week large group training We have had to make numerous adjustments during the weeks (aka last minute), and they have been extremely accommodating The catered food options are delicious, and the sales, front desk, and event staff are super attentive and friendly

There is a fabulous balcony next to the meeting rooms (shady but nice and breezy), and the pool deck is also very nice There are tons of places to eat, shopping, and most anything else you might need within walking distance to the hotel, so there’s no need to rent a car for the week We have definitely been pleased

I stayed one night over St Patrick’s Day The hotel is what one would expect for a Hilton Garden Inn They have always been very professionally run in my experience

I enjoy having room on 7th floor as it was nice views The room was very nice It had large shower and large room The bed was very comfortableI liked the bar in the lobby They had good selection of beers including some local brews The prices were very reasonable Parking is convenient to the hotelThe staff was friendly although there was not a ton of interaction as I’ve gotten accustomed to self check in and digital key on the Hilton Honors app I really like just going directly to my room without having to interact with people or wait in any lines

Anthony Lugo

**Beautiful Hotel with Access to Everything **From the lobby to the room this hotel delivered a clean, professional experience I was traveling here for business I was able to check in with access to my room within minutes upon my arrival The front desk staff was very nice understood I was in a hurry for meeting and helped me quickly

The lobby is great for business meetings One on ones are perfect with plenty of spacious seatingThe room had lots of USB plugs along with the lobby furniture Again when it comes to business it’s hotel really did a great job at marketing to the traveling business professionalLots of eating options nearby as well

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was nice and accommodating The indoor pool is nice, along with the gym and bar in the hotel

They do not have a continental breakfast, but there’s at least 2 or 3 different restaurants in the same parking lot that you can get breakfast at I’d definitely stay here again! Close to downtown and the suburbs

Jess Sterling

Where to start! First off I’d like to thank the staff, especially Emma You made our short stay worth the 9 hour drive! The politeness to our children and making sure everything was taken care of for us Taking the time to check out each kid( individually, bc they had to use their own money) every time they wanted a snack 🤦🏻‍♀️ We appreciate your kindness and if we are in the area again will definitely be back to stay with you

Exceptionally clean, quick with requests, and the breakfast was delicious! The young girl at the breakfast station, I didn’t get her name, but my Starbucks white chocolate mocha was better than I’ve had at Starbucks ❤️

Matthew Greenbaum

The rooms and property are pretty nice The evening staff wasn’t particularly helpful during check-in He did not know how to link two reservations or enter a late check out, and he didn’t acknowledge Ambassador status

The day staff was more helpful, but are hamstrung by unaccomodating management Further, there is no complimentary breakfast

My friend and I rented a log cabin for one night so that we can take our kids to Carowinds for 2 days The resort provided the park tickets along with shuttle service to and from the parks throughout our stay The staff were very helpful and friendly

The shuttle driver was also informative and friendly The cabin was super cute and all 7 of us slept well, 2 adults,1 kid and 4 teenagers We will definitely be returning here next year

Sarah Flatt

Loved our stay! They sell “length of stay” tickets to the park which are perfect! It allowed us to go to go back and forth every day to eat healthier foods and enjoy some down time when it was hot! There is a Tram that takes you from the campground to the entrance of the park and the people that work the desk and drive the Tram are so nice! Especially Mr Steve! He was our family favorite 🙂

Ash C

Love staying here! We are season pass holders but live an hour away Sometimes it’s nice to stay in the rv park because we can break up the day and take more rest breaks The shuttle is very convenient and the drivers are always nice

Sites are big and most are shaded Office staff is always friendly and easy to work with for date or site changes This is one of our favorite campgrounds I wish the laundry and pool stayed open later Haven’t been able to night swim here🥲

First time I’ve ever given 5 stars to a hotel but this one was excellent (and we travel monthly) VERY clean and updated The breakfast was not a huge buffet but sufficient, fresh and well made

We really enjoyed it The staff were very nice and friendly The keurig coffee bar in the room was a wonderful touch away from home Would only stay there when in the area

Brittani Sabourin

The staff was really friendly! The hotel overall was really clean There was a towel with possibly puke on it in the elevator last night, and still this morning But aside from that the entire place was clean

The beds and pillows are so nice! We were woken up at 2 am our first night with drunk jerks being loud, and then around midnight our second night with a group of people loudly trying to find a room Then this morning we had some kids screaming and being loud at 7 am So we didn’t get much sleep at all, but it’s not the hotels fault Only thing I recommend is changing up the breakfast a little Maybe sausage one day and bacon the next, or have some hash browns one day

chris miller

Fantastic from the front desk to house keeping to the people who run the cafe area in the Morning Great room clean , the manger should be proud of the staff Only thing that sucks is trying to find parking late at night

I would always stay in this hotel when I need one by far best in Monroe for price only thing I would change here is a tad bit faster Wi-Fi still good but it should be a lot faster for how good this place looks inside and out

Just absolutely blown away with the service I received when checking at here The building was super clean and the staff was over the top friendly He made checking fast and explained all the service they have to offer

My Room was set up and super clean when I got in The indoor pool is clean and the bed is super soft I’m always worried about staying in hotels that are super affordable but hands down this one will always be the one I go to when I’m in town! I legit could not ask for anything more !! Awesome work to the staff and employees that puts the time and effort into making it the way it is!! Wish I could give more stars!!! I look forward to my 4 day stay!!!

Nyasha Mangwiro

Stopped over for a night on our road trip – We arrived a little late at 9pm The check in and check out process was swift and the service rendered by Tazay was amazingThe room & bathroom were super clean

Loved the hot breakfast with sausages, eggs, pastries, fresh fruit, orange juice, yogurt and waffles Lovely staff, very polite Good place for a stop over if driving long distance as it is close to the i85 I would definitely stop over again should I need accommodation in Charlotte!

Ivonne Raiford

I absolutely loved the customer service After a 8hr delay missing a flight (missing 🧳) is nice to see someone that smiles and says let’s not stress you anymore, here is a toothbrush and some toothpaste get some rest and let me know what else I can get you The bed was sooo comfortable, the bedroom was very spacious nice size fridge and microwave

Everything was super clean The person at the counter made sure I was aware of the breakfast time and offered to do a wake up call so I wouldn’t miss breakfast (Since I came in at 3 am ) I’m glad I woke up for breakfast they had pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and 🤤 cinnamon rolls Fruits , cereals, bagels and more I’m just sorry I only stayed 1 night The hotel doesn’t offer the airport shuttle but it’s worth extra cost for the taxi (Sorry,I was too tired to take pictures )

We came here for a little staycation We had a package for a resort credit and breakfast We spent our day at the spa Saturday

They were excellent This review is not for them The room was your typical hotel room The bed was awful Hard as a rock My husband even asked me at midnight if we wanted to go home The pillows were feather pillows that withered away to nothing when you laid your head on them I’m going to have to rerun to the spa after laying on that rock all night I then tried to use a gift card for portion of our stay After running the card 6 times I was told they couldn’t get it to go through Didn’t bother to call for help to find out why Come to find out my card was charged $1 every time they ran it! For the money I paid this was an awful stay I’ve stayed at hotels that cost way less and had a better experience Not the luxurious stay I was hoping for DisappointedWas also not impressed with the indoor pool and hot tub area Needs a major upgradeCould hear every noise that was made in the hallwayConstruction was the greatest view 👌👌Nothing luxury about this luxury hotel go spend your money somewhere better

Mustafa Azhar

I came here for an event and stayed one night When we arrived, and very nice porter took care of everything and took us to our room Rooms were very clean, as well as the overall hotel

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful The view was nice, and the hotel is actively working on making it even better with upgrades The price to performance is quite decent I recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere luxurious to stay!

Worst hotel experience of my life Came down here for a couples vacation planned with the normal activities: sitting by the pool, spa, room service, etc

We were excited to enjoy the full resort experience; boy were we disappointed We originally planned to stay for 3 nights but checked out a day early because the experience was so bad Even checking out required an hour long argument with the manager Let me start from the beginning The room we paid extra for with “views of the golf course” was a construction site No mention of this on the website and certainly not reflected in the nightly rate It was dirty, the bed was hard, the balcony had a colony of roaches living on it Called for pillows at 4pm and never received them We were not notified that housekeeping was by request only and even when we requested it, they never came 20% gratuity included because they know the service is terrible Room service was same quality as a Denny’s When we checked out, the bellboy never showed up after 40 minutes of waiting Only redeeming part of this trip is that the spa experience was great and the staff there were quite nice and talented Everything about staying at the hotel was a nightmare and I will not be staying at another Marriott if this is their definition of ‘luxury’

Common areas and room furniture are nice, modern, and clean Staff are really helpful and I appreciated that they were flexible about late checkout Not all amenities were open and the hotel seemed understaffed; beds could be comfier, and the hallways could stand to be updated

The snack area in the lobby was nice, though Overall, not at all a bad place to stay!

Spencer Kuhlman

When we checked in, we were told the bistro had a complimentary breakfast in the morning Guess that was just a lie? The only options available were $9 breakfast sandwiches that did not look appetizing The hallways of this hotel smell like burnt feet

The shower in the room smelled of mold and was not ventilated at all Overall, the whole place has a musty feeling that is not welcoming The sheets were like construction paper Unlikely that we stay here ever again Beware!

Kellz W

Room was clean and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience We went downstairs for breakfast and had the absolute best time chatting with Ms/Mrs Roshella at the breakfast bar She provided exceptional customer service and made sure we had everything we needed

She definitely deserves a bonus 🤗 I really enjoyed my stay
