Giving this place a solid 5 stars! My friends and I stayed for 4 nights last week and we couldn’t have asked for more Spacious well equipped room with a wonderful balcony (sunset view included with ours!), awesome front desk associates with great suggestions, super duper beautiful waterside pool and hot tub, great bar/bartender (Kelly!) and a convenient 18 minute walk to a great beach (where you can rent a beach chair for $5 forthe whole day)! I would come back here any day of the year Thank you Courtyard Marriott Madeira Beach for a perfect stay!

This experience was terrible Our first day here, we were able to switch rooms but my wife forgot her wedding rings in the first room We informed front desk guy, Brian, who sent an employee to let us back into the room to search for the rings
They rings were not there When we went down to inform Brian at the front desk, he vehemently denied that anyone might have taken them I asked him to ask the only housekeeping employee who had cleaned that room after we switched rooms Brian called and we heard the guy say he found 2 rings and that he “forgot ” to bring them down REALLY??? Why didn’t front desk call housekeeping right away to check if he found the rings when we called down the first time?We stayed 7 days last year and enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to come back this year to stay another 8 days With this incident and now they decided to charge $10 parking per day, we’ll take our business elsewhere This is not okay and I am a silver elite member with Marriott

Top notch service These people are very good making you feel important and they are very professional Rooms were clean
Loved the balcony Good treadmills The location was beautiful and close to publix and other food like McDonald’s and a pizza place Plus they have a bistro The legion was loud next door but could not hear them with patio shut The bad thing was the pool It looked very dirty Did not want to get sick swimming in it Lighting in room and bathroom was dark Beds were hard but better than lumpy Would stay here again if the pool gets cleaner

I’m giving it two stars because the pool area was nice, but that’s where the nice ends The room was not clean Floors were filthy
I found public hair on the toilet paper holder and bright red hair in the bathtub (no one in our group has that color hair) The pullout couch was nasty dirty I didn’t want my kids sitting on it Sorry Sands You guys need to up your game a little here For the price, it was no where near worth it Would never go back to this place Can not recommend Thank goodness we were only there one night If it were longer, I would have walked out and found another hotel
Kasper Warming
Booked two nights here and came late on arrival day, and all people we saw there where elder really drunk people and next morning we woke up to a bathroom filled with bugs and a balcony that for sure was not cleanedSo this morning we packed up all our stuff in a hurry and left to find a better place for my family, didn’t even care about that we have pay for two nights, just had to get outLocation is great but that is the most positive I can say about this place, shown on hotels
com as an hotel but is a motelSure it has been really great in 74 when built, but it needs a lot of work done to it, just to be a three star motel, have seen two star places in better conditions
Becky More

The facilities are beautiful The staff are wonderful The location is fabulous
One problem, the room was filthy We stayed for 8 nights in a king beachfront suite I reported the conditions (piles of dust above refrigerator, broken vase that cut me in bathroom, floors never swept or vacuumed, and don’t even think of pulling out the sofa bed—you could live a week off the crumbs and food bits in there)The only response I ever got was “We will tell the cleaning crew We will mention it to management” For ~$500 per night including a daily resort fee and an extra $100 per day to have our 15 lb dog with us we expected a clean room, but that was certainly not the caseI even provided pictures (attached to this review) of each concern after my stay only to receive the same response and no make good or attempt to keep me as a returning customer This is Opal service? Stunned actuallyI actually recommend you consider this resort for your stay, especially the king suites with wraparound, oceanfront balconies—which are truly breathtaking Just be sure they tidy up or you’ll be living with dust bunnies and other people’s leftovers

Absolutely wonderful experience and stay From the front desk personnel, to the gentleman greeting and helping us with our luggage, to the restaurant staff, and the janitorial staff…top notch service and quite possibly our favorite place to have ever stayed
Rooms were very clean and the mattress was so incredibly comfortable! If I could give this place an extra star I absolutely would! Also…I want to give Edwin a special thank you and shout out for his personal willingness to help direct us to local attractions, and his courtesy throughout the weekend He loves his job and it sure shows!

The rooms are always clean and well stocked We always stay on the 3rd floor because of the huge balcony! Our only downfall is no elevator, but Arthur helped us carry up our big suitcases Thank you!! See you in January!!

All the condos are gulf front which was really great! The balcony was really big and allowed the 3 of us space to relax and talk The grounds were really nicely kept Long walk to the beach but we didn’t mind
The front desk was very friendly and anything we asked was taken care of quickly We’ve been coming to the area for 15 years and always stayed down the streetwe are now switched to this hotel permanently!

Second consecutive year staying at South Beach Condos We love it here The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are clean and well kept, they provide everything you could possibly need for cooking, trash bags, dish washer pods, etc
The pool is always clean The maintenance crew does a great job with groundskeeping they’re quick to pick up any branches, etc That have fallen overnight Parking is sufficient, location of the condos is great, walking path to the beach is well maintained The BBQ and shuffleboard area is really nice I couldn’t find anything to complain about as far as South Beach Condos if I tried I think the pricing ($1850 for a week in a 1br full condo with a pull out bed in the couch to accommodate 4) in the middle of peak season makes it a great deal We’ll continue vacationing here for years to come!
Jeremy Schiffer
Be warned: there is construction next door For at least the next two months or so, there will be pile driving going on continuously from 7:30am to 4pm (with a break for lunch) during the week It is extremely loud and shakes the building
If we had known, we would have stayed somewhere else Otherwise, the condo building is nice enough, and in a great location Views are spectacular

First time staying at the Bungalows in Treasure Island It’s a nice place Clean nice heated pool and walking distance to the ocean
The fall back is if you are planning on sleeping especially on the weekend this is not the place There was a couple of families and then their friends came over and they partied all day and night Way pass 3 in morning Had to go home for sleep That happened 2 nights in a roll And for the money you pay you should have some piece when your on vacation Not here

We stayed at the Bungalow years ago It was much better at that time This time we had some issues
In our unit, there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom I could not find a mirror near an electrical outlet so I could not blow dry my hair Our grandson walked around on the floors with bare feet and soles of his feet were black from the floors Our bathroom sink filled up with water because it drained so slow Almost all the TV controllers had issues We had to unplug the main room TV to get it to turn off The outdoor chairs were coming apart so we had to be careful it didn’t collapse on usOur sons also rented 2 other units and in one bedroom, the fan was missing a blade Our other son in his unit, found three large dead roaches He turned on the dishwasher and it made the place smell horrific The disposal didn’t work so the sink backed up We paid a cleaning fee plus the unit rental fee so we did expect everything to work and floors to be clean On the positive, the linens and rest seemed to be clean The pool was nice and beach location was good We would consider coming back if we find out these issues were resolved
Tesa Martin
Advertised as a home away from home, it is ! We are a family of four plus the dog and had an espectacular time at The Bungalows last weekend The place is well kept, has a swimming pool, is located right across the street from Treasure Island Beach and walking distance from Johns Pass Our room was awesome, 2 queen beds, great ac, great well equipped kitchen, awesome bathroom and the best part is that it has its own porch where we had drinks until late at night without bothering anybody
We will definitely return here Piece of advise is keep an eye on ac filters since they tend to get dirtier y sea side and make sure to check all spaces since we found a dog bone under the sofa that belonged to someone else

Extremely disappointed Stayed here for Christmas and LOVED IT New management took over and our stay was absolutely chaotic
A/C unit did not work for three days out of five and our room temp was at 85 degrees upon checking in First night it was brought to staff’s attention but was brushed off like it was no big deal and claimed that we were “ cranky” when window unit replaced, paper towels were stuffed around it for insulation Thank goodness we met some great people in unit below us and allowed one of us to crash on their couch for tolerable sleeping conditions Pool was cloudy and mucky filter clogged and levels were completely off When the pool company came resulting in having to shock the pool putting it out of commission for hours in conclusion, the new staff does not care, they stay in some of the units for free in return of “ work” Not worth the $ they are charging for the minimal service and lack of ‘customer first’ approach Sadly, we will not return

We’re in a suite and God forbid if the other rooms are like this one they’re awful If it wasn’t for the hours drive, no vacancy, and holiday weekend
we would have checked The website is a total lie and this dump should be condemn I can’t wait for this nightmare to be over The best thing about being here is checking out I’m embarrassed to let my family and friends know where to locate us We checked in and lysoled the entire room before visiting family and didn’t return until midnight There should be rules and regulations the state of Florida has in place against dirty flithy out dated rat holes In other words don’t waste your moneyit’s not worth it Anyone gives this place a rating over one is living this type of lifestyle Condemn the dump asap

First of all, this trip was not what we expected The pictures of the room made it seem much smaller than we were walking into The room was perfect, much larger than the pics made it seem! We contacted the hotel many times for info about the room
Jason was our main contact and he was amazing! He is incredibly kind, generous with towels, and always accommodating This place is a dream come true They knew restaurants to go to, they always had what we needed, and let us stay a few hours extra on our check out our day Also, we were close to the beach and had no issues walking there and back I could write much more, but the place was clean, it was a great spot, and we had everything we needed I couldn’t ask for more, especially for the price! Thank you Jason for your positive attitude that started our weekend off perfect! We will be coming back! We stayed in room 116 on the corner by the pool

In response to Crystal Ellis’s visit with family
I am the property manager and we love having families stay with us We go out of our way to make sure everyone is having a great time What you failed to mention, was we as property managers were doing our job and also looking out for the rest of the families that were vacationing Your children were out on the docks swatting the birds with a fishing pole, yelling all day, annoying some guests that wanted to lay out and relax, monopolizing the pool and the seating area where no one else could come down and enjoy the pool On top of that, throwing your cigarette butts all over the property, including the docks, the water, the pool area You never picked up after yourselves and didn’t follow the pool rules, which are clearly visible Yes, there is a limit a bathing load of 12 maximum and yes kids count believe it or not There were times your family had 17 or more in the pool, so yes, we watched you during your stay We apologize if it made you uncomfortable, but, we have a job to do and other guests to take into consideration Your family treated this place like it was your personal back yard It’s not No, we are not a pet friendly property, however we do have owners that will allow a pet As for my 6 lb dog, I’m the property manager and she was approved We were full house that weekend and everyone that stayed that week didn’t want to come out of their unit We are a hidden gem and don’t want others coming in and destroying it We hope you find another place that makes you happy to return to

This place is paradise! If you want to vacation in treasure island, try to book a room here 1st! If you can book room 107 or 108, DO IT! They are both very clean and cozy They have a real home away from home feel to them From the minute you wake up, until you go to bed, you will meet new people and create new memories! I HIGHLY recommend staying at The Maylyn Resort!

It is on the channel so the view is beautiful It is in walking distance to the grocery store, liquor store and many bars & restaurantsGetting to the beach is a small hike but really is not too badI also have to mention the AMAZING customer service we’ve experienced from Manager Tammy each time we’ve interacted I truly do not remember feeling so welcome at a “business”

Loved this place Staff was great The rooms were nice
I think due to staff shortage we didn’t get any service to our room, but we grabbed some extra towels as that was all we needed Close to the beach ⛱ which was right across the street Close to tourist hang outs We were told there is a free taxi service if you ask at the front desk Had a nice free breakfast buffet I would highly recommend this place The prices are very reasonable

A frequent traveler and always stayed at this place! This time went with my 20 month old son and the staff was absolutely amazing!!! Deborah was knowledgeable and accommodating We loved our room cause it was facing the marina and my son LOVES boats The beach is a little walk but SO worth it! If you are traveling with babies make sure you use the stroller to go to the beach, there is a paved path and once you get on the sand very easy to navigate
Also, the bartender at the tiki was very friendly and we stayed here a whole week and had a great time!!! We will be back! Thank you:-)

We had a great time and everyone was friendly But wanted to share a few things that bothered us for place that said it was a resort1
The pool was not kept very clean I understand its tourist season but it should be closed for at least 45 minutes halfway during the day just to clean it At times it was very nasty2 The pool towels were not maintained Hardly ever did they have towels stocked at the pool We tried to enjoy the hot tub but half the jets didn’t work Like they were clogged up by something3 We really liked the Cabana bar but we kept feeling like we’re going to fall into the chairs They were very damaged4 The breakfast was good but if you came 45 mins to an hour before they stop serving then you probably weren’t going to get much There were some days that the breakfast trays weren’t refilled

Definitely not a place I would recommend Very aggressive staff! Looks dirty and the outside areas are unkeptAs I was taking photos from the street John the maintenance man came out and chased me down the street
Calling me names and said he wanted to know where I lived and was going to follow me home I was checking out the property as a current timeshare owner of InnSeasons Resorts as I thought they were related Will NOT be backUpdate: The maintenance man never ask if I needed assistance or directions He started yelling “you don’t have a wristband” and I was confused and he was excited and aggressive Not kind or friendly at all Never instructed me to the office So glad this is not a timeshare I own Phew 😮💨

I’ve been coming here since I was 7 This place hasn’t changed ANYTHING except the flooring and THAT is awful in itself!! They haven’t even painted the walls in 35 years!!! Everything is the same and everything is OLD!!!! They FINALLY put decent flat screen TV But the floors are awful!!!! My kid’s feet were black after walking on the floor!! So I bought a swiffer and sweped it kj

The front desk is extremely rude Our first day we went in to ask where to park and the gentleman there was so disrespectful Then they said if they think their getting in their rooms at 4 they’re wrong
They never had ice on premises They said to use the ice in the freezer in our room That isn’t going to fill my cooler up for the beach The key cards are a hit or miss That’s fun with kids standing there for 20 minutes trying to get in your room Check in I went in at 4 pm and of course they stated not ready so I waited there well in come two customers to check in they took them right away and their rooms were ready We waited 45 minutes for ours This hotel is not cheap and to be treated so poorly and to not have working key cards at all times or ice on premises and horrible staff is totally unacceptable The room itself was very nice No complaints and our stay was good The ac is set to 85 so I would suggest you set it to 72 and go out to the beach, when you get back a few hours later it’s about 75 much nicer ! Parking they say is for two vehicles but that’s only if there is a spot available It’s not a private beach like the websites say It allows public access hence why there’s no places to park if you have more than One vehicle I hope that they train their staff to be more respectful to the people who pay to keep the hotels lights on and their paycheck I wouldn’t give them a one star because like I said the room was nice The property itself was ok Nothing that qualifies for that cost per night

Just south of John’s Pass, an open air, waterfront tourist destination you won’t want to miss Great restaurants and unique specialty shops, boat and jet ski rentals There are dolphin watch cruises
Just across Gulf Blvd is great fishing from the sea wall lining the pass which flows under a draw bridge After all the fun return to the comfort and quiet of the vistas Lay by the pool, take a walk on the beautiful beach, have an exotic cocktail at the full service bar or order in room service It’s a fantastic location with 5 star service and amenities

First the “good”
we stayed in one of the penthouses which was as big as our home! Love the spacious master and the fabulous gulf front view We appreciated having two parking spaces available for the penthouse stay The guest parking available on property is very convenient and very hard to find ANYWHERE else along the beaches The security on property were friendly and helpful Now the “not so good”cleanliness is clearly a problem in the unit we rented 🙁 The air filters were filthy and the air handler unit was COATED in dirt We called to have it attended to and it was taken care of the following day Dishes were dirty (glad I always travel with my paper products)! Fridge exterior and stove were not clean, sliding door tracks were reallllllly dirty, and the hot tub did not have hot water! I sincerely hope the management team reads these reviews and follows up with the people responsible for maintaining this property We live locally and most likely will be booking again but would sure love to not have to be our own cleaning crew upon check-in next time we visit

Great location, very nice room, I wanted to just say good things about it This was a 4-day family trip to create good memories and to recharge before starting a new academic year However, we were treated in a disgusting and rude way by the Property Manager, named Valerie
After our first day, Valerie called me because our service dogs were in the balcony unattended, barking and creating discomfort to others customers at the resort I run back to the room to place the dogs in their crate This was an accident, as the door that went to the balcony did not close properly and somehow was open when we were not in the room I asked her to call my fiancee as she had the service dogs After a couple of hours, she called me and asked us to leave the room immediately because they did not allow pets I said we didn’t have pets as we had service dogs She got infuriated and threatened me with calling the police if we did not leave the property I paid more that $1,300 for the stay, we were having a wonderful time in this great property, but this person, Valerie, was trying to sabotage this Clearly she does not qualify for a job like this, as she doesn’t understand that everyone deserves respect If I were the owner, Anita, i would hire someone else for the job, someone that knows customer service, someone that knows how to deal with issues like this Tact is key I called VRBO and we were advised to stay I was told to call VRBO immediately and ask for the legal team in the case the property manager, Valerie, called the police I am thankful for VRBO and their assistance This is great place, but unfortunately our getaway was ruined by Valerie

Fantastic hotel! We stayed 4 nights in September and it could not have been any better All rooms have beautiful views Rooms are clean
Comes with a kitchen that is stocked with basic glasses and a dishwasher (they even provide the dishwasher pod) A washer and dryer (one washer pod was provided) The staff was beyond friendly and made great restaurant and area recommendations The pool and hot tub are small, but very clean It was not busy when we went so it was not an issue at all They did provide a few small beach towels too The location is great — walking distance to many restaurants and shops and quick driving distance to John’s Pass and other nearby attractions We have already talked about making it an annual vacation location

I LOVED our condo here I would definitely recommend this hotel to others It’s my favorite hotel in TI so far
So why 4 stars? We stayed 5 nights and wanted to add one more night The rate for that night suddenly sky rocketed to nearly 3 times what we paid for the other nights The receptionist was very apologetic, but could not offer any deal or discount or an explanation of the extraordinary rate hike especially when compared to other comparable hotels

The staff was friendly and helpful but the cleaning staff need to be fired Every surface starting from the elevator door, tiled floors to the furniture in the rooms have not been wiped in a long time I had to wipe down all the furniture in my room due to the visible finger prints ,dirt and dust
The bed linens appeared clean The rugs were filthy The rooms and furniture are visibly dated and the hotel has an “old” smell to it I would not stay here again We paid $180/night including taxes Not exactly cheap for this level of hotel The breakfast was also not great Pretty bland

The was by far the filthiest place I’ve ever stayed Well
I didn’t stay I left!!! I will NEVER go v to this hotel again I had an asthma attack when I walked in the room The cart was filthy, so filthy i didn’t want to put my clothes on it The outside looked like it never been cleaned ever It STUNK BADLY!!! Then the front desk person had the nerve to charge me for the room even though i couldn’t breathe in this nasty place

I stayed at this hotel before heading to Miami for a cruise, and all I can say is that it’s not really up to par with some other hotels within the regionOne positive aspect of the hotel is that the staff members are quite friendly; especially one of whom who just so happens to be an Atlanta Braves fan (Go Braves!!) Another great aspect of the hotel was its coffee
It didn’t as bad as I thought typical hotel coffee would The rooms themselves also looked quite innocent and clean, including the carpetThe main negatives that I have about the hotel just so happens to be within the bathroom and bed In my room, the bed sheets looked somewhat wrinkled and only had half pillows available The worst of the negative aspects took place in the bathroom, where I found small black hairs (some long hairs, too) inside the bathtub (“Bwaaa!” [Hank Hill])!Overall, this was not my ideal stay at a hotel in Florida; and I had better experiences in my past, especially at a hotel in Kennesaw, GeorgiaTo the staff members who DO see this review, I’m sorry if this sounded a bit harsh, but there are some things that you need to improve on

My family and I stayed in room 610 during the last week of July, 2022 The condo is beautifully decorated and was spotlessly clean when we arrived The washer and dryer definitely came in handy
The view from the balcony is breathtaking We spent a great deal of time relaxing from the 6th floor vantage point while watching the ocean (we even spotted dolphins most days) The water was clear and warm and just steps from the condo, with a convenient pedestrian crossing directly in front of the complex We set up our “spot” on the sand early each morning and felt confident to leave our blankets and towels, as we came and went throughout the day There was an abundance of wildlife to enjoy, including lizards, frogs, birds, fish, and dolphins My son enjoyed catching a few fish, both from the beach and the back dock While we did go out to eat a couple of times, my family particularly enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen We enjoyed the short walk to John’s Pass for some ice cream and shopping We visited the Florida Aquarium and found it to be one of the best we have ever seen Melinda, the owner, was pleasant and prompt in answering questions that we had Ryan, at the front desk, was very helpful and pleasant We hope to return to this spot for another vacation soon!

My family, and I visited this resort for the first time We were in room #1607 for 5 nights Check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly
I booked my stay through the actual website We had a 2/2, with all the amenities The view on the balcony was epic! The view from the balcony was the Marina/bayou, and the front of the building is a 2 min walk to the beach The room was clean, cozy, and we definitely enjoyed I caught the sunrise in the am just beautiful! It was a few scuff marks on the wall, and the hot water could’ve been a little hotter Other than that it was a really good stay
Katelyn Kocevar
AVOID We booked through VRBO into room 205 There was red mold growing on the tiles in the shower and floor in the main bathroom
All door stops were rusted and had no end caps, huge risk for small children The place was dusty and dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned in months But the worst part we’re the BEDBUGS We pulled the sheets back to make the bed the second day and noticed several bugs in the master and pull out couch The front desk essentially treated it like we were complaining about dirty sheets and brought us clean sheets We were not allowed to move rooms One person in our party got bit so badly she had to go to urgent care and get prescribed a steroid We ended up staying at another place for the rest of the trip We weren’t expecting anything fancy and honestly we just planned on using the room to sleep and make some meals but we couldn’t even do that This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed

The room and location are awesome Never had a need for Service so can’t say either way Spacious room, nice little vacation kitchen, close to all kinds off things to do
Great place Only complaint, as a “Resort”, maybe put in the curved shower curtain The bathroom was like a spare rooms bathroom with a small shower and straight bar Was very tight Fat people go on vacation too! It’s an older place, but very clean, AC worked great, and the doors going out to the beach were amazingly soundproof For the price, it was a definite value
Greg Olyansky
Nice place with friendly staff Bring things with you to the beach like food, its a long walk and no immediate options available for eats Rooms were cleaned every day
A nice stay for several days Beach is good quality Bring plenty of change and cash for umbrellas/chairs, its not cheap Nice pool and nice hot tub Bar is pretty good too Strong alcoholic beverages

We had an issue checking in and thankfully after some back and forth with the front desk, their manager, Donna, was able to resolve everything and make our vacation a success Miss Doris from house keeping was very kind and attentive and we love the hilarious bartender I can not stress enough how grateful we are to Donna for saving our trip
We’ll definitely be back and can happily recommend this resort

Nice place to stay Loved the balcony overlooking the inner waterway Saw dolphins a couple mornings
Plenty of space and convenient location Easy walk to the beach Our only real frustration was a lack of washer and dryer and the fact that we couldn’t turn left into the parking lot Reasonable price for the week Small, but nice pool We would stay there again If you’re looking for a less expensive option as compared to the beachfront properties, check this place out
Samantha Reil
This hotel was absolutely amazing We stayed for a whole week and I wouldn’t wanna stay anywhere else We saw dolphins from our deck and got to watch cruises pass by
The pool and hot tub were fabulous The heated pool was an amazing perk We also got rides to the beach with their golf cart and that was the best I had pizza from the restaurant and it was so good!! The staff was so very kind and attentive The rooftop bar was absolutely amazing and we just loved the view of the bay The customer service was top notch I want to give a huge shout out to all the staff for all their hard work and dedication to this beautiful hotel💞Especially Alan!! Thank you again
Michelle Meade
The front desk staff was super friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out Missy went above and beyond to help us feel at home! The resort is generally quiet and has everything you need on site (pool, VIBES bar, etc) including golf cart rides to the beach and Publix nearby
The location is ideal for people who don’t mind walking to nearby restaurants The suites are not that old and are starting to show a little wear and tear but nothing too major We were thankful to find the 2 bedroom setup as 2 adults traveling without kids Many accommodations we found had a room for a couple and another with bunks for kids It was ideal to have 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms!! The sunsets were the best!!! The pool towels are great and fit around someone who is a bit larger! Overall, a great find for last minute travel plans We visited St Pete’s Pier and John’s Pass and would recommend both to any visitors
