It was a nice stay just annoyed that I left a a wifi Hotspot in the room and I called the next day supposedly the housekeeping door was locked Called in the morning and spoke to the manager and she wasn’t very helpful told me she didn’t have anything in lost in found and that the housekeeper wasn’t going to be in and that she would get back to me no towels in the pool area, 100 dollars incidental fee like that’s nuts I paid 50 at the 191 holiday inn

Beautiful hotel with lovely interior in foyer Staff was friendly and rooms were clean but dated a bit Beds were very comfortable but the water pressure makes this lose a bunch of stars

Maybe hairless people can get clean in the trickle It’s almost impossible for a long haired bearded man Washing kids was hard too as even the water pressure from the tub faucet was awful A big part of traveling, for me, is getting clean That’s where this hotel fails big timeStaff is great but understaffed like most places during COVID Restaurant hours are subject to change based on businesses and food is mediocre I understand it’s hard to have fresh food available when your understaffed and business is unpredictable I understand all of that but the water pressure alone is enough for me not to use this particular hotel For me it’s actually a 1 star since water pressure is a big deal but I put 3 since some won’t care about that

This was the first time we ever stayed here and we were very underwhelmed The online portrayal of this hotel and the real life experience were very differentThe hotel is older and the decor reflects it and the rooms are interior and exterior

We chose interior (these cost more) and we were right across from the open play area and pool area so we heard the lots of hollering from the kids who were having a GREAT time The room we had was very small for the price we paid, but it was clean and all of the staff are very niceA hot breakfast bar was provided and it offered standard breakfast options but it wasn’t impressive at all They did have a Sunday brunch later that morning and that looked way better than what we had but it wasn’t freeIf you have kids this place is a really good option because the kids seem to be living their best unsupervised lives here from the time we arrived to the time we left! They were everywhere! We didn’t have the worst experience in the world but we probably won’t stay here againUpdate: the last night we were there about 2am there was a man crying and wailing walking the hall of the floor we stayed on and 2 of his friends were trying to calm him down for about 30-45 minutes It was loud and no one from the hotel came to fix the situation Will not stay at the hotel again There was also broken glass in the parking lot that was never cleaned up our entire stay and yes we had brought it to the attention of the front desk

Stayed in this hotel for 3 days 2 nights Lobby is beautiful from the inside My family & I had a great in the lobby as they have a ping pong table where I had fun with my husband

My girls enjoyed the playground where they had a blast and the mini golf was fun experience as a family! The pool was also cool as it’s indoor and outdoor and you can swim under to get past We over all got a great experience out there We got a suite Inside the hotel where I have mixed feelings The couch is old, the walls are dirty, we saw spaghetti on the wall (as seen on picture), My husband used a UV light in the room where we saw a bunch of hands and marks on the walls and one on the sheets (picture was a bit blurry for that one) The lazy boy was awesome and the tvs and drawers were newer unlike the couch and beds The hotel is old and needs remodeling If we come back it’s because of the lobby not so much the rooms…

Christy McElhaney

The location is great, the indoor pool and fun activities for kids are great, the breakfast buffet can not be matched anywhere! The food is top notch home cooking! NOW FOR THE 😔 The beds are not comfortable and the ac is a hit and miss depending on the room Staying in the front seems to be the quietest Staying in the rooms in the back seem to be where all the rifraff happens

Even if you don’t stay, you can pay for the Sat and Sun brunch buffet, which is definitely worth it

The room was exactly what the pictures showed Clean and comfortable The reason I picked this hotel, is because it’s “Pet Friendly”

I travel for work and stay in Choise Hotels all over the country I have a 6 yr old Toy Yorkie that travels with me I am usually charged a pet fee of $10-$15 and I’m happy to pay that This motel charged me $35 for my 25 lb dog I told the guy, that I stay all over the country in Choice Hotels and am only charged at most $15 He was not helpful at all I will not stay at this Choice Hotel in Odessa, TX again!

I don’t think house keeping vacuums the floor because when I walk on the tiled portion I feel dirt on my feet Room was big and comfortable but when I arrived AC want on and it took overnight to cook off Breakfast was good except when parents let their kids mess up the waffle station

Girl working breakfast was friendly and apologized for these rude guests Front desk was unable to print a 2 page pdf for me and business center computer is so locked down you can’t log into Gmail Ice machine on 3rd floor seems to always be broke Other than that, comfortable stay

I liked the room Nice and comfy Did have free wifi, free complementary breakfast & microwave with fridge

The breakfast could of been little more varied each day or switch it around some days It had same type of “main breakfast” for the 4 days of my stay Very friendly & informative people on where my rooms were & other stuff U can’t assume people know the hotel Liked the complimentary coffee & tea pots they had by the lobby Different flavors That’s always a great gesture by the hotels U have it available all day & night Sometimes you just want something when you’re in a hurry to work or come back to hotel from a long day at work(my trip was business) but even if it was family trip I know me & my wife like that gesture Gave it 4 cause I think the breakfast could of been varied little more daily

Location was good Bathroom door lock was broken looked to be possibly blood stains on the carpet The attitude I got when leaving with my service dog was completely uncalled for, I made the reservation online and checked service dog nothing was said when I got there and walked through the lobby with her and got my key but on the way out this morning the attitude for not having a piece of paper (that was never told to me was needed) and a sign on the door (also never mentioned before at any hotel I had been to)

Cruisin Bob

From reservation process to check in to quality of the room, the experience was exactly what I would expect from a Hampton – expert front desk personnel (Reuben in particular he was amazing and VERY helpful), clean and comfortable room, good breakfast available Upon arrival, Reuben was so kind and helpful plus he made an extra effort to have my room ready a little earlier than normal check in We were there for a graveside service for my wife’s sister, and Reuben went above and beyond to make sure that we had a peaceful stay

He also very graciously printed up a number of programs for the ceremony at no charge to us He was also familiar with my sister who was already staying there with her husband and kept checking to see if we needed anything Hampton almost always meets or exceeds my expectations The Hampton in Odessa, Texas on John Ben Sheppard Pkwy exceeded my expectations A special shout out to Reuben for the expert and gracious help he extended to us while we were thereFamily businessService50Location50Rooms50

Looks like new construction but if it is, why is it so dirty and scuffed up already? Walls scuffed, filthy elevator, dirty floors We have stayed in quite a few LaQuinta Inns over the past year bcs we have done a lot of traveling and they accept dogs We have always been happy with these hotels, but this one has a weird vibe and dirty

Definitely won’t stay at this one again

Alejandra Felix

We were very happy to find a pet friendly hotel with a reasonable pet fee ($23), perhaps, when we got to the 1st room that Leonard checked us in, the heater thermostat control didn’t work He was very nice to Switched us to another room, but that room didn’t look like it was completely clean at all The covers were stained, The mini fridge was Filthy and had an old yogurt inside, and the microwave was also dirty

There wasn’t a blow dryer available in the bathroom, but I found a pair of dirty socks instead The staff was nice and the breakfast was okay, but I don’t think that we’ll be staying there ever again in our way to Dallas

First time here and the experience was excellent Upon check in the room was hot and A/C wasn’t working Contacted the front desk and they got it handled asap! Very nice and respectful staff

Cleanliness was next level Special thanks and 5 stars for the front desk staff for being so friendly to myself but most of all to my 9 year old daughter They complimented her every time they saw her and made her feel very special that day To Nicole, Kayla, and Stacie Thank you!!!

Simple 5 stars but minus 2 because problems with Platinum Elite breakfast Hotel only gives a 10 dollar credit per room and not for 2 persons as couple

After complaining at the frontoffice they correct it Breakfast is good but coffee for 4 dollar extra to pay with breakfast is not right The hotel is full service and beautiful What a great pool! Odessa must be happy with this beautiful hotel Of course many business people are oil miljonairs but the drinks are still good and comfortable Barkeepers are nice and service is personalized

Everything was great Just double check before you leave We stayed one night to go school shopping and spend some time with our daughter

We spend most of our day out and and about We just ate, slept and leftWell my husband backed up the bathroom and left my straightener my face wash and a envelope of $400 cash on the sink We left and went to eat at the restaurant I realized I didn’t grab those three things I called the hotel to see if the cleaning lady took them to the front Well what can you expect we were in Odessa The lady on the phone called me back and said she got ahold of the girl who cleaned our room she said “our room was such a mess that she threw everything in the trash and that the manager said I was more than welcome to search their dumpsters” First, our room was unmade beds, used towels and three bags of eaten food left in front of the tv It was not a mess It’s my fault for leaving it just make sure you don’t leave any items they will not be returned apparently I am not going to search a dumpster for money we all know she took

tychell wallace

really enjoyed my stay! This was a last minute booking due to use being tired from our road trip and just needing a good rest I booked through the app and immediately there was constant communication The whole hotel was clean, my room was clean, and the gym was to die for

During my check in the hostesses was very nice a greeted us with a If smile even though it was late and during checkout we requested a 30 min late departure due to me staying in the gym so long, there was no issues and as we departed the you g lady asked if there was anything she could help us with and that she hope we enjoyed our stay 9 out 10 service

To begin, we have stayed at this Homewood suites here in Odessa once before in June 2021 and had a similar experience to this stay in July 2022We travel with dogs and appreciate the dog area for potty and also a fully stocked poop bag dispenser 👍Our family LOVED this location very much 💕Rooms are excellent and very clean! We LOVE the kitchens in the rooms as they allow us to eat healthy on the road as well as store food for pups 🎉 The front desk staff has been AMAZING and we have met several different staff depending on our arrival time I have spoken to Javier on the phone and met Kaylen at night and CiCi in the AM and they were so kind and helpful I was driving in from Arizona and a 11 plus hour drive and truly appreciated their hospitality so much

😊Breakfast is very plentiful and coffee is delicious! I am so thankful they have the flavored creamers for the coffeeAll around great property and excellent hospitality from the staff!!

This place is awesome Everything from restrooms to parking lot is squeaky clean, the food is very well cooked, the rooms are very quiet and inviting But what really makes this hotel different is the staff

They have a relaxed, helpful attitude that makes you feel at home and among friends here Since my arrival with Erick at the Reception, to Maria on F & B, to Cindy at check out, they all shared that can-do, friendly stance Outdoor fireplace by the swimming pool was also a very nice touch You guys are doing a lot the right way, please keep it up

Mike

It was an Ok stay, I’ve stayed at nicer courtyards

no breakfast, even though they pitched breakfast the day before Elevator has had better days and requires some maintenance Fitness center was a couple cardio machines, no real effort was shown there Plenty of places to select from here, this would not be on my list of places to stay for the next trip

Brandon McKnight

Tvs need to be updated as ours was kinda blurry and colors distorted Plus they are pretty small for now days Pool was as dirty as the creeks I swam in as a kid

And no complimentary coffee after you use your ONE pod in room You have to get a venti or whatever from Starbucks I don’t care about complimentary breakfast but have a coffee pot for Pete’s sake Other than that room was clean and good location
