Good hotel and would stay again, but this location is a bit smaller than most other Hampton Inns The rooms are smaller, the pool is smaller, and no pullout sleeper beds But it is nice, clean, and new

The staff is great and outside of running out of plain waffle batter one morning during breakfast we had zero issues It’s walking distance to the Green Lake beach, you could also easily walk to the DQ

I was very impressed with this Hotel Very clean room We travel a lot and it was the first Hotel this year that had a clean bathroom mirror! All the other ones that I have been in were not cleaned

This tells me that the rest of the room in those other places were dirty also They had more then enough plug-ins for Apple watches, phones and hearing aids Fresh fruit for breakfast!!! They get an A+ From me! The best and cleanest hotel that I have been to in over a year When we travel by motorcycle we stay in a different Hotel in a different town every night I’m just happy if it’s clean!! I have stayed in some horrible ones over the years

We really enjoyed our stay at Dickerson’s Lake Florida Resort Upon arrival we were greeted by Bob and given an overview of the resort and treated to some delicious homemade donuts The cabins were clean and comfortable and the view out the window of the cabin and on the beach of Lake Florida was beautiful

Bob and Connie are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond to make our very short stay amazing The resort itself is lovely with colorful flowers bursting out of hanging baskets, window boxes and planters everywhere Everything is immaculately clean We rented the resort pontoon for one afternoon and had a great time driving around the lake Later we took out one of the resort’s complimentary canoes and paddled around the lake and saw lots of wildlife Although our children were not with us, we saw many children of all ages playing in with all the various beach and water toys provided including paddle boats, rafts and water bikes We will most definitely be returning next summer

Debby

Great family resort! Beautiful grounds, clean simple cabins, perfect wide level beach with loads of free water toys for the kids and adults to use Water bikes, kayaks, paddle boat, huge floating pad, water trampoline, swimming raft

we couldn’t get our grandkids out of the water!Bob and Connie go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having a good time with welcome cookies, donuts and coffee, pizza night, hay ride, etc

The hotel was great, rooms were wonderful, thick towels, comfortable beds, great location Watch out for the dog catcher aka Hospitality manager NOT, who waits by the back door to discuss the pet policy I booked my room using the pet room link on the website and had a pet room acknowledgment on my printed receipt

Since I used the pet room site I assumed the fee and knowledge of my pet was already known At the time of check in nothing was ever asked about the pet I assume the fee was already in the price of the booking since it was booked through the pet specifically marked web page I was made to feel like we were sneaking the dog into the building from the comments made by the manager at the back door It never my intention not to pay the fee , since I was never asked at check in assuming it was included Need to have a better system in place

Great location, clean and spacious rooms, and helpful staff This will be my preferred hotel when I visit Spicer againThere is a beach and park right across the street – great for bringing kids for a picnic and dip in the water

The rooms are great for families Our two-queen bed room had a separate space for setting up our portable crib which worked great for nap time

Tad Bear

For being off season the rates are high Beds are very hard and the pillows are very thin They have a zero tolerance for any food or drink in the pool an hot tub area

Told us we could check in early for our wedding and the room had not been cleaned yet when we arrived Don’t plan on a group standing out talking late at night because they will come out an stop you

couldnt even stay a day the cabin was dilapidated, two windows were broken, my mother tried to open one and it nearly fell off of the actual windowsill! the owners were very nice and understanding, but it’s obvious that repairs are very much needed there were also cobwebs in nearly every room as well as dead bugs despite the cabin being marked as clean

Overall… Friendly staff Nice room Overpriced

Won’t be coming back We stayed for 2 nights 8/12-8/13 in room 307 and just returned home I was unpacking my baby’s suitcase and found a pair of mens dirty underwear mixed in his laundry

They are not ours and 110% came from the hotel room we stayed in Thoroughly disturbed thinking about where these underwear came from and the fact that my infant son has to have been the one who found them and was more than likely playing with them $510 for 2 nights is quite steep for a room that literally has dirty undergarments from prior guests floating around*Edit* – You would appreciate the opportunity to hear more about my experience but leave no contact info? Lol

Chris Ross

Stayed here before and I still recommend this HotelMinus one star as some breakfast items weren’t available, and our room keys would randomly deactivate even though we weren’t holding them against our cellphones or other cardsHas a nice pool and Hot tub

Friendly and accommodating staff Rooms have new and beautiful furnishings Water park is great for kids and families

Bad if you can’t stand noise or sensitive hearingWalls and doors are so thin I got moved twice Can hear neighbors through door and walls Was in room 116, 2/3 down hall from pool and could hear all the kids shouting and screaming every time the pool door was opened Muffled when it was closedMoved to second floor Far end (228) could hear everyone coming up the stairs The back road traffic going to Target, and the loud clicking of the outside locking each time it would close

Tori Jewel

It’s not huge, but not usually excessively busy Dimly lit and the sun glaring in provides most of the light, which causes a more shadowed space by nightfall The area is usually clean, however, the pool isn’t always the cleanest

The waterslide isn’t usually on when we are there, however, the kids have fun on it when it is availableStaff are usually very courteous and professional

I stayed here for about 3 weeks for work, checking in for 5 days & then out for my days off The staff was always very accommodating to me, giving me my preferred room after asking for it They were very friendly & helpful

Coffee & breakfast were both good each morning, during covid it was only a bag breakfast, but I understand why The little gym area had 2 treadmills which was always enough that I never had to wait to do cardio in the morning

Steven Seven

Place sucks the bathroom has A/C on all the time even in the winter time The rooms are connected to the pool so if it’s loud no one wants to hear kids screaming from their room When I asked to be moved front desk claims she didn’t have anything I really think she didn’t wanna do the paperwork especially since I watch 3 diffent people get a room away from the pool
